The National Right to Life’s annual
convention, “Bringing America Back to Life,” will be held Thursday, June
23, through Sunday, June 25 in Jacksonville, Fla.
The convention, which will be at the
Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront, is being hosted by National
Right to Life’s Florida affiliate, Florida Right to Life.
The event includes over 70 workshops
and general sessions featuring expert speakers who will address the
broad spectrum of pro-life issues. Some guest speakers being featured
are former Planned Parenthood worker and volunteer Abby Johnson,
Melissa Ohden, an abortion survivor, and Fred Barnes.
The convention kicks off with an
opening general session featuring Barnes, executive editor of The
Weekly Standard and Fox News Channel contributor. There will be a
special screening of the pro-life move, Doonby,
at 7:45 Thursday evening, an hour after the last session concludes.
National Right to Life is hosting a
Republican Presidential Candidate Forum on Friday morning. Confirmed
speakers include Rick Santorum, Herman Cain and Ron Paul. The
convention will also feature ecording artist Jamie Thietten, who will
perform for the annual Prayer Breakfast and closing banquet.
National Teens for Life will also hold
its 26th annual convention concurrently with NRLC 2011. It will offer
workshops and sessions geared toward educating and activating the
next generation of pro-life activists.
