Taking a “preaching to the choir” approach, filmmaker Dan Merchant set out to answer the question: Why is the gospel of love dividing America? This documentary chronicles his conversations with regular folk as well as culture war activists. As Merchant interviewed Sen. Al Franken, The Shack author William P. Young, radio host Michael Reagan and others, he found that faith can be discussed without contention. The film also features news clips of celebrities such as Bono, Bill Maher, Bill O’Reilly and George Clooney along with high-profile Christians Rick Warren, James Dobson and Pat Robertson.
