Icelandic Evacuation: Are Earthquakes Fulfilling Biblical Prophecy?

In a quiet Icelandic town, Grindavik, a state of emergency has been declared, and residents have evacuated their homes due to the threat of a volcano eruption. The ground beneath them is trembling with a surge in seismic activity, prompting authorities to take swift action. As thousands of earthquakes and tremors shake the southwestern peninsula since November 10, the possibility of a volcanic eruption looms large.

The Icelandic Meteorological Office warns that the likelihood of an eruption in the Reykjanes Peninsula “remains high.” The earth is in motion, with over 700 earthquakes reported in just 12 hours, signaling the movement of magma beneath the surface. Although most are considered micro-earthquakes, their collective impact is felt, leaving the small fishing town on edge.

The situation has escalated to the point where defense walls are being constructed around a geothermal power plant, a vital source of electricity for the entire country. It’s a race against time to safeguard infrastructure from potential lava flows. The people of Grindavik, facing one of the largest evacuations in their history, are grappling with the magnitude of the incident.

This natural turmoil, however, brings to mind biblical prophecies. In the Bible, the end times are foretold, and one sign mentioned is the increase in earthquakes. It’s a reminder for Christians to exercise biblical discernment in these uncertain times.

Pastor Jack Hibbs of Calvary Chapel in Chino Hills, California, expressed similar sentiments. He exhorted Christians to pay attention to the world around and compare the events taking place to the words of Jesus and end times prophecies foretold in the Bible.

The seismic upheaval in Iceland echoes the biblical passages such as Matthew 24:7, where Jesus speaks of the end times: “For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines, epidemics and earthquakes in various places.” The recent surge in earthquakes, the war in Israel and Ukraine along with the recent pandemic aligns with these words, serving as a call for Christians to stay vigilant and discern the signs around them.

As residents return briefly to salvage belongings, witnessing the cracks in their homes and roads, it’s a stark reminder of the fragility of life. The Icelandic people, facing an unprecedented situation, are encouraged to remain resilient. This resilience reflects a broader message found in the Bible—a call to endure and trust in God during times of adversity.

While volcanic activity is not a new occurrence in Iceland, the scale and intensity of this event draw parallels to the volcanic eruptions that have shaped the nation’s history. It is reminiscent of the eruption in 1973 on the island of Heimaey and the international impact of Eyjafjallajökull in 2010.

In times of uncertainty, Christians are reminded to turn to the Lord for strength and guidance. The Bible encourages believers to be steadfast in their faith, irrespective of the challenges they face. As the ground trembles in Iceland, let us reflect on the biblical prophecies and teachings given to us by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, using supernatural discernment to navigate these turbulent times.

The events unfolding in Iceland provide an opportunity for Christians to reflect on the biblical principles of resilience, discernment and steadfastness in the face of a changing and unstable world. Just as the earth groans with birth pangs, Christians are called to stand firm in their faith, trusting in God and His plan for the earth during these times of upheaval.

From the Heartland to Holy Land: American Farmers Strengthen Israel’s Frontlines

In the heartland of America, a group of compassionate cowboys from Montana and Arkansas has heeded a call to support Israelis facing the challenges of war. These dedicated individuals, inspired by their Christian beliefs, have left behind their farms and families to lend a helping hand during a crucial time.

The mission, aptly named “Operation Ittai,” draws inspiration from the non-Jewish commander in King David’s army mentioned in 2 Samuel 15:19-23. Joshua Waller explained, “Israel is in a really tough spot right now; we need non-Jews to come and be a part of strengthening the Jewish community.”

Ezekiel Strain, a Montana farmer, expressed the urgency of their mission: “When I heard the war broke out, this was the important thing to do.” Their journey led the group to Judea and Samaria, where they have been working diligently on security roads and volunteering on farms affected by the conflict.

This extraordinary effort is facilitated by HaYovel, an organization founded nearly 20 years ago by Joshua Waller’s father. HaYovel brings Christian Zionists to volunteer in agriculture, emphasizing support for Israel during times of need. The group’s presence is especially vital now, as Israel faces a significant crisis after recent events.

In their selfless labors, the farmers have become known as “The Cowboys” in Israel, capturing the hearts of many grateful locals. John Plocher, one of the volunteers, reflected on the nickname: “It’s funny because they have this certain image of what a cowboy is, you know, drinking, cussing and whatever. All those aren’t necessarily true.”

Despite being thousands of miles away from home, these cowboys understand the importance of maintaining agricultural and construction projects during wartime. Ezekiel Strain affirmed, “If this is when they need us, then this is when we are going to come.”

The group’s commitment goes beyond physical labor; they are actively engaging with the Israeli community, attending barbecues, visiting the wounded and supporting families affected by terrorism. Their actions reflect a deep connection to the biblical principles of compassion and solidarity with Israel.

In addition to their on-the-ground efforts, HaYovel is raising funds to provide equipment to Jewish villages and towns in Judea and Samaria facing heightened risks. The organization aims to supply essential items such as bulletproof jackets, helmets, night vision gear and even basic necessities like flashlights.

Despite the challenges, the group remains undeterred, having already raised $2 million of their $29 million goal. The funds will address urgent requests from Jewish villages, ensuring the safety and well-being of the communities they are assisting.

As John Plocher emphasized, “Nowadays, people support a lot with their lips and say they support, but not a whole lot of people actually stand up for what they think. So, when I was given the opportunity to come, I wanted to come.”

In times of crisis, the actions of these American cowboys serve as a testament to the enduring bond between Christians and Israel, guided by a shared commitment to compassion, support and the principles found within the pages of the Bible.

Christian Leaders Call for Support at ‘March for Israel’ Amid Ongoing War

A sea of demonstrators expected to number in the hundreds of thousands will converge on the National Mall on Tuesday for the “March for Israel.” Organized by the Jewish Federations of North America and the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations, the event aims to condemn the surge in antisemitism and demand the release of Israeli hostages held by Hamas in Gaza.

Eric Fingerhut, President and CEO of the Jewish Federations of North America, emphasized the importance of standing against terror: “Israel’s fight against Hamas is no different than America’s fight against Al Qaeda and ISIS.”

Pastor John Hagee, Founder and National Chairman of Christians United For Israel, will be on hand and is encouraging other Christians to support Israel during this time of rising antisemitism.

The rally, confined to the National Mall and with enhanced security measures, anticipates a turnout of 100,000 attendees. DC Mayor Muriel E. Bowser announced National Guard support for traffic safety points.

Organizers emphasize the peaceful nature of the march, aiming to demonstrate America’s support for Israel’s actions against Hamas. The event will also express gratitude for the recent $14 billion emergency military assistance approved by the Biden administration.

The rally’s primary focus is denouncing antisemitic rhetoric and urging Hamas to release Israeli hostages. William Daroff, CEO of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations, stated, “Hamas’ brutal acts of terror have no place in a civilized world.”

As America unites in solidarity, the “March for Israel” seeks to send a resounding message: a rejection of anti-Israel sentiment and a commitment to shared values of peace, justice and freedom.

Prophetic Warning to Megachurches: Free Chapel’s Revival Signals Paradigm Shift

In a recent episode of the Encounter Today Podcast hosted by Bishop Alan DiDio, Larry Sparks from Larry Sparks Ministries shed light on the powerful revival that took place at Free Chapel, led by Pastor Jentezen Franklin in Gainesville, Georgia.

The revival, spearheaded by Evangelist Perry Stone, witnessed a profound outpouring of the Holy Spirit, with approximately 3,000 individuals experiencing a transformative baptism in the Spirit.

Amidst the chaos and disunity prevalent in the 21st-century church, Sparks passionately conveyed a call to move beyond superficial expressions of many modern churches, emphasizing a genuine hunger for more of the Holy Spirit. He highlighted an unfortunate trend of what he termed “Pentecostal light” in certain gatherings, where the pursuit of God’s presence is diluted to mere comfort without embracing the dynamic move of the Spirit.

“I’ve been to gatherings…to meetings, where they’re trying to please…the people” Sparks explains. “That was not what was happening [at Free Chapel].”

The surprising backdrop, according to Sparks, for this revival was Free Chapel, a megachurch previously perceived by Sparks as more non-denominational. Witnessing the church’s openness and hunger for the Holy Spirit marked a paradigm shift for him. Stone and Franklin’s leadership encouraged participants to fully embrace the Holy Spirit’s transformative work, shattering preconceived notions of cultural relevance within megachurches.

“Maybe I probably inappropriately judged them, but here I am watching this service, Perry Stone’s up there leading 3,000 people in the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Opening the alter, people running up there, literally. …Nobody was discouraging manifestations of the Holy Spirit,” Sparks says.

As Sparks recounted his personal encounter with the electric presence of the Holy Spirit during the service, he underscored the authenticity and hunger displayed by Free Chapel. Stone’s unapologetic call for manifestations of the Holy Spirit, including praying in tongues, created an atmosphere where believers could experience a profound encounter with God.

The revival at Free Chapel, according to Sparks, carries prophetic significance in the midst of contemporary chaos. He suggested that megachurches across the nation should heed this as a warning, urging leaders to recalibrate priorities away from mere cultural relevance. Sparks emphasized the importance of embracing the Holy Spirit’s dynamic move, advocating for authenticity and biblical truth in fostering genuine spiritual transformations.

“I’m not seeing anybody who has an agenda that they’re trying to put on the Holy Spirit. They’re literally saying ‘Holy Spirit, You dictate our agenda.’ It’s powerful,” says Sparks.

In exploring the prophetic theme of signs of the times, Sparks acknowledged the necessity of balanced teaching on eschatology. He cautioned against extremes and advocated for harmonizing the understanding of end-time events with a continual embrace of the Holy Spirit’s transformative outpouring.

The heart of Sparks’ message lies in the hope that the revival at Free Chapel serves as a catalyst for a renewed emphasis on the authentic, transformative power of the Holy Spirit in churches worldwide. As the church navigates these unprecedented times, the outpouring at Free Chapel stands as a beacon, calling for a revival that transcends cultural norms and seeks a genuine encounter with the living God.

Supernatural Encounters Mark Unprecedented Move of the Holy Spirit

In a recent interview with Charisma News, Pastor Brian Gibson shared the electrifying accounts of ongoing revivals at his church’s campuses filled with testimonies of supernatural encounters. The intensity of the events left Pastor Gibson, and those involved, in awe of the power of God.

“I’ve done like, two solid weeks of preaching right now every night. Right. But it’s been, it’s been great,” Pastor Gibson shared, capturing the exhilaration of the revivals taking place. What started as scheduled conferences in Kentucky and Texas quickly turned into something extraordinary—a manifestation of the Holy Spirit that is transcending expectations.

The Texas revival, in particular, took an unexpected turn when Pastor Gibson and others sensed a powerful presence in the room. Describing the experience cautiously, Pastor Gibson shared, “I physically felt something touch me on my head. And I opened up my eyes and there’s nothing there.” This encounter, echoed by others present, marked the beginning of a series of miraculous events.

Miracles unfolded as the power and anointing of God permeated the atmosphere. Healings occurred, ranging from a blocked aorta miraculously opening to individuals finding relief from physical ailments. The divine touch was evident, sparking excitement and drawing crowds even before any big names were associated with the revival.

Pastor Gibson emphasized the need for a revival in America, recognizing that no political remedy could address the nation’s deep-rooted issues. “The only thing that can help this nation is an awakening,” he asserted. The revivals, according to him, are not just about saving a nation but about transforming lives through a renewed passion for Jesus.

Sharing a poignant moment from the revival, Pastor Gibson recounted a night when, instead of a guest speaker, Jesus Himself took the spotlight. “Can I be your special guest tonight?” Jesus asked, leading to a night where the focus remained solely on the Savior. The absence of a renowned guest allowed attendees to experience the profound simplicity of encountering Jesus.

The themes preached during the revival centered on believing God for bigger things, the controversy between the Jews and Palestine and the return of false gods in contemporary culture. The revival aimed to keep Jesus at the forefront, emphasizing that the ultimate goal is not just the manifestation of spiritual gifts but a genuine connection with the giver of those gifts.

However, the supernatural encounters extended beyond the church services, reaching into the streets of Owensboro, Kentucky. Pastor Gibson described a surge in demonic activity, manifesting as people oppressed or possessed by evil spirits. The battle against occult practices, coupled with the influx of drugs, brought the spiritual warfare to a new level.

As the revivals continue, the church grapples with unprecedented challenges and opportunities to minister to those in need. The stories of deliverance and transformation underscore the profound impact of these revivals, serving as a beacon of hope in a world yearning for a move of the Holy Spirit.

In the midst of the extraordinary, Pastor Gibson remains committed to his conviction: “We didn’t come for the gift; we came for the One that gives the gift.” The ongoing revivals, with their miraculous events and encounters, stand as a testament to the transformative power of a genuine encounter with Jesus Christ.

Radical-Leftist Superstar Declares ‘Proof’ There Is No God

In her final professional soccer match, left-wing activist Megan Rapinoe suffered a devastating injury.

Telling the media after the game that she believes she tore her Achilles tendon, Rapinoe used the opportunity to declare that this situation proved without a doubt there was no God.

“I’m going to get the Aaron Rodgers treatment, whatever that is. So, I’ll be calling him or whoever did his surgery because we could speed it up. But, yeah. I thought about it a little bit. I mean, you know, I’m not a religious person or anything. And if there was a God, like, this is proof that there isn’t,” Rapinoe says.

It appears by Rapinoe’s reaction, that she only deserves good things in life and when things do not go as she wants then it must mean there is no God.

Rapinoe has gained international fame for her time on the U.S. Women’s Soccer Team, kneeling during the national anthem, promoting transgender surgeries and drugs on children and advocating for men to play in women’s sports.

She previously made headlines for telling the world what she did deserve when winning the Women’s World Cup and hoisting the trophy yelling, “I deserve this” to those watching.

Severe narcissism aside, Rapinoe’s remarks are something Christians need to take note of and respond accordingly. There is a culture war that has been taking place for decades, yet Christians still sit on the sidelines like bumps on a log and do nothing to fight for godly principles or morals. Some have certainly become professionals at complaining about it, but that is not what the Bible commands followers of Jesus Christ to do.

Paul exhorts Christians to take part in spiritual warfare and to engage the culture of the day, just like he did and just like Jesus Christ and John the Baptist before him.

For every Rapinoe, there needs to be a Tim Tebow, who continued being a force for good even after his NFL career was cut short. He did not blame God or declare, “There is no God because things didn’t go my way.” Instead, he allowed the Lord to take what the enemy meant for evil, and turned it for good.

As many have been waking up to the decline of Western society across the world, there are those in the sports world who are using their fame and celebrity to acknowledge and praise the one true God in heaven, pushing back against the satanic agenda corrupting culture today.

Outspoken Christian athletes such as Carolina Panthers quarterback Bryce Young, Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, Major League Baseball pitcher Michael Lorenzen and many others are glorifying God for their performances while standing up to events such as Pride night.

Perhaps a coincidence or divine blessing, but the one Major League Baseball team that did not celebrate Pride night, the Texas Rangers, just went on to win their first World Series championship.

The thing is, for every victory Christians make in culture, the enemy will double down on his attempts to corrupt it even further. For too long American Christianity has been “comfortable” and that is something that must change.

People are getting uncomfortable with the evil, demonic practices growing in the world, and they should be. Hopefully it will spur them into action and start praying, fasting, engaging in culture and taking responsibility for their role in spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ as the world’s only Lord and Savior in response to the Great Commission He gave to all His followers.

In the World, Not of It: Why These 2 Pentatonix Members Are Committed to Being a Light in Culture

In the glittering world of entertainment, where fame often overshadows faith, Pentatonix members Matt Sallee and Kevin Olusola stand out as devout Christians with a distinct mission.

Despite their international acclaim and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, they shun the title of celebrities, viewing themselves as “Daniels” on a mission to illuminate the darkest corners of mainstream culture.

For Olusola, the beatboxer and vocalist of the Grammy Award-winning group, being a “Daniel” means infiltrating culture while staying true to the one true God, a principle drawn from the biblical narrative. The goal, as he puts it, is to be a light in culture, showcasing the beauty, joy and relevance of the gospel in a way that dismantles the stigma surrounding it.

“We want people to see that the gospel can be relatable to their lives, whatever they’re going through,” Olusola expressed to The Christian Post.

Pentatonix’s musical journey is more than a climb to stardom; it’s a mission to express and share their faith. While not exclusively a Christian group, the group’s versions of songs such as “Mary, Did You Know?” and “Amazing Grace” convey a spiritual depth that transcends mere entertainment. Olusola emphasizes the unique power of music as a God-given medium, reaching hearts in ways other forms cannot.

“Music was created by the Creator,” he explains. “So, when you align to the Creator and how He’s purposely using it, then you get the true strength of what it’s called to be.” Both Olusola and Sallee believe that, though audiences may not see Jesus physically on stage, they hope people His presence through their music.

Navigating the complexities of an increasingly dark culture isn’t without its challenges. Both artists credit their upbringing for instilling the habits and teachings that anchor them in their spiritual journey. They recognize the importance of relying on the Holy Spirit and seeking guidance from fellow believers to maintain their purpose amidst the demands of touring.

Sallee, who joined Pentatonix in 2017, said, “It’s all about trusting the Holy Spirit … and yourself just to know that God’s called you in your purpose.”

Olusola emphasized the sense of being sent by God, stating, “I feel like when I’m sent, then the only way I can do this is through being aligned to Christ because it wasn’t mine to begin with.”

Looking ahead, the bandmates remain committed to aligning their talents with Christ’s will. Olusola emphasized that if their work is tainted by selfish motives, it undermines the purpose for which God sent them. Their goal is clear: to continuously align with Jesus so that His will for their musical journey is fulfilled.

In a world where celebrity often overshadows conviction, these Pentatonix artists remain steadfast in their mission to be Daniels in the spotlight, bringing light and faith to the forefront of mainstream culture.

From Laughter to Devotion: Bill Engvall’s Deepening Faith Journey

Picking up his cross and following Jesus, renowned comedian Bill Engvall has announced his final comedy special, “Here Is Your Sign It’s Finally Time: My Last Show,” will be released this winter on Dec. 5.

Engvall gained immense fame as part of the four-man “Blue Collar Comedy Tour” that took the country by storm from 2000-2006. Joining him on the stage were the titans of rural comedy: Jeff Foxworthy, Ron White and Larry the Cable Guy.

But comedy has changed a lot since Engvall was at its peak. Now, cancel culture routinely attacks those who are found to be “offensive,” and Engvall believes that has no place at a comedy show.

“Comedy is the best thing in the world, to be able to go to a place and laugh… Don’t go with the attitude that you’re gonna try to find something that’s offensive. If that’s what you’re wanting to do, then I don’t know where to tell you to go, but just please don’t do it at a comedy show,” he says.

This new act for Engvall is a more spiritual role, as opposed to the funny-man routine that earned him fame and fortune.

After becoming an ordained minister, Engvall continued his journey to know the Lord better and deeper by studying at the Christian Grand Canyon University. He would go on to receive a degree in Christian studies.

Engvall shared with Fox News about this new season in life, leaving comedy behind and making God the priority moving forward.

“You know, I always considered myself probably what we used to call a C&E—you know, church was Christmas and Easter,” he jokes. “I have become an ordained minister. I have the great honor of baptizing both my grandkids, and I’ve got a couple of weddings coming up. And it’s just really, really fun.

“My relationship with God—I feel like one of the problems that we’ve had in religion is that we all feel like we all have to have the same relationship with God, which we don’t. Mine will be different than yours. Yours would be different than someone else’s,” he adds.

This new direction has impacted his final comedy special as well.

While never known for working ‘blue’ as a foul-mouthed comic, especially compared to many of the prominent acts of today, Engvall has made a conscious effort to ensure his special can be enjoyed and viewed by everyone.

“I feel like, honestly, that my show is probably one of the cleaner shows out there,” Engvall says. “I mean, there’s no swearing, there’s no dropping F-bombs and all that. … It’s something that I really have felt strong about. … I didn’t feel that any of the material on there was offensive. It’s, you know, it’s what I’ve done my whole career, and that’s obviously worked for whatever reason.”

Re-prioritizing the things of life also helped Engvall come to the decision that it was time to hang up the mic and spend time with family, which he missed while touring.

“It seemed like I was missing out on stuff … the same kind of stuff I had missed out on with my kids. … But I didn’t want to go through that again. I wanted to be able to really spend time with my kids and my wife and our grandkids. And so, I just knew. It was one of those things you just kind of know.”

Jewish Man’s Death Prompts Hate-Crime Investigation

An elderly Jewish man was killed in California while taking part in a pro-Israel rally.

The 69-year-old Paul Kessler is seen waving an Israeli flag on the sidewalk from photos taken at the event.

Law enforcement report that they received calls of an assault taking place at the rally when an altercation broke out between Kessler and an unnamed pro-Palestinian counter-protester.

Initial reports and eyewitnesses claimed that Kessler was bludgeoned by the counter-protester’s megaphone causing him to fall to the ground and hit his head on the cement sidewalk.

“Witness accounts indicated that Kessler was involved in a physical altercation with [pro-Palestinian] counter-protesters,” says the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department press release. “During the altercation, Kessler fell backward and struck his head on the ground.”

The incident is still under investigation, but the sheriff’s department has not ruled out the “possibility of a hate crime.”

Included in the release was the autopsy of Kessler conducted by the Ventura County Medical Examiner’s Office. It was determined that Kessler’s cause of death was blunt force head injury and the manner of death to be homicide.

The mayor of Los Angeles, Karen Bass, released a statement following the incident:

“We mourn the death of the Jewish man who died after being injured during a protest in Thousand Oaks. As details emerge and are confirmed, we stand resolute in condemnation of violence and antisemitism. This death is a blow to our region at a time when tensions continue to rise worldwide. We must redouble our efforts to ensure violence and hate are met with accountability and consequences. Los Angeles refuses to harbor this hatred.”

This tragic event took place as antisemitism is sweeping across the globe, with Jews and Israelis being threatened with violence and death in nearly every Western country. Major cities are no longer safe for Jews, as massive protests in the hundreds of thousands take place calling for the eradication of God’s chosen people.

Yet even as evil forces continue to target Jewish worldwide, the Lord is actively protecting and strengthening His people during these trying times.
