As a Christian there are biblical principles that God provides in the Bible that teaches us how to increase cash flow in our lives. The kingdom of God is all about stewardship. Are you stewarding well what God has put before you?
“Everything in the kingdom that gets stewarded, multiplies and increases, that’s how you know you’re stewarding it,” Pastor James Baker says in our Charisma News interview.
What is in your hands right now? What has God entrusted to you? “Elijah asked the widow ‘what do you have?’,” Baker says. Most Christians fail to recognize everything that has been put in their lives by God and don’t steward well what they have. Maybe God has given you a specific job and you aren’t honoring your work responsibilities.
“There’s some mentality of living on rice and beans and it creates a scarcity mindset,” he says. You can either increase your income or decrease your expenses to generate more cash flow. It’s important to continually take note that your business ventures are aligned with God and His Word.
We aren’t supposed to go after ideas with the sole goal of making money. Matthew 6:33 says, “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be given to you.”
Most Christians don’t always have a money problem, but an idea problem. “We serve a God of infinite ideas,” Baker says.
If you are wanting to create something, is it something other people would want to buy?
“So part of the fruitful stage is making sure the product you are going after, someone thinks it’s a good idea other than your business partner and your momma,” Baker says.
