‘Make America Pray Again’: Donald Trump Selling ‘God Bless the USA’ Bibles
Former President Donald Trump made headlines, again, but this time it wasn’t for any trial developments or considerations as to who his pick for vice president in his potential administration would be.
This time, he is promoting the God Bless the USA Bible on his social media app Truth Social, alongside country music legend Lee Greenwood.
“Happy Holy Week! Let’s Make America Pray Again. As we lead into Good Friday and Easter, I encourage you to get a copy of the God Bless The USA Bible,” Trump posted on the platform alongside a video of himself promoting the bible.
“Religion and Christianity are the biggest things missing from this country. And I truly believe that we need to bring them back and have to bring them back fast,” Trump says. “I think it’s one of the biggest problems we have. That’s why our country is going haywire. We’ve lost religion in our country.”
As reported by Fox News, “The Bible is the latest product Trump has promoted after releasing a line of $400 sneakers earlier this year.”
In a recent YouTube video, evangelist Perry Stone addresses the words of Jesus and what will occur as the precursors to the end times and the lead up to the Great Tribulation.
Stone starts by turning to the source of all wisdom: the Word of God and shares what Jesus says in Luke 21:11:
And there will be great earthquakes in various places, and famines and pestilences; and there will be fearful sights and great signs from heaven.
“Notice He says great earthquakes, so whatever the great and fearful signs in the heaven will be, whatever Jesus is talking about in this reference, is connected to earthquakes, famines and pestilences,” explains Stone.
This particular reference of Scripture draws a distinctly possible connection between the solar eclipse that is going to occur on Apr. 8, and the area in which it will travel, and that is over the New Madrid Fault line.
“How in the world are there signs in the sun and the moon? The answer is in Joel 2 and Acts chapter 2. It talks about the sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the great and terrible day of the Lord, the great and terrible day of the Lord’s the tribulation we’re not in the tribulation but we’re headed there, so these cosmic signs will happen before the Great Tribulation but there’ll be a sign that the tribulation is coming in the future blood moons,” Stone continues.
These signs in the heavens lining up one after another after another, including the coming Jewish holiday of Passover taking place Apr. 22-30, have many fearful that a large-scale event is going to take place some time during or after the eclipse.
“The big thing that everybody’s talking about is it crosses over the New Madrid fault line,” says Stone. “…now John Kilpatrick a great man of God and several other men for years have had dreams or visions of the New Madrid fault line giving way.”
Should this event happen, and should it happen on a large scale such as 7.0 to 8.0 on the Richter scale or similar in strength to the quakes in the early 1800s, then massive disruption will occur in the United States.
According to the U.S. Department of the Interior, if the New Madrid Fault were to have recurring quakes of this size and scale, it would lead to “significant damage to buildings, transportation and critical infrastructure would occur in at least eight states, resulting in loss of life and economic disruption.”
“The danger to the United States would be that the railroad bridge[s] connecting part of the West with the East Coast are cut off. The bridges for trucks to deliver food are cut off. …So there would be a complete shutting off, a split, between the central and western part of the United States and the east coast of the United States. And the food supply would be diminished within probably, I would say within a few hours, because everybody would panic in trying to get food in the stores,” says Stone.
While Stone is not giving a specific timeline for an occurrence to take place, he does believe that the eclipse on Apr. 8, is one of the great and fearful signs Jesus spoke of, in which case something will transpire in the wake of the eclipse.
Stone encourages believers to take practical steps to be prepared for disaster scenarios, but more importantly, prepare their hearts and ensure that they are prepared spiritually.
“Be prepared is what I’m trying to say, and also realize these are signs that the Messiah is going to return. So your your greatest thing to do is to spiritually prepare for the coming of the Lord. That’s it,” Stone says.
Whether you are enamored by the physical beauty and awe of the upcoming Great American Eclipse 2024 or that this celestial event is a sign from God for humanity to pay close attention to, there is a multitude of alarms being raised over the sheer size of this event.
To date, several counties in the path of the solar eclipse have declared states of emergency for the vast numbers of onlookers who wish to see this amazing scene unfold, while the state of Oklahoma has called up their National Guard to assist with the massive influx of people.
As preparations are being made, more warnings are being released by authorities over various disruptions caused by the eclipse itself.
The FAA has issued a warning regarding potential disruptions caused by the eclipse.
According to The Hill:
The FAA warned pilots to prepare for operational changes and higher-than-normal traffic volume at airports along the eclipse’s path. These airports include Burlington International Airport, Syracuse Hancock International Airport, Indianapolis International Airport, Fort Wayne Airport, Cleveland Hopkins International Airport, Buffalo Niagara International Airport and Austin-Bergstrom International Airport.
Meanwhile, various business leaders for cellular companies as well as local authorities have warned the public that cell service may also be disrupted during the eclipse as over 1 million visitors are expected to flock to areas within the eclipse’s path.
According to Rebecca Owens, director of the Richland County Emergency Management Authority in Ashland, Ohio, in a statement to the Richland Source, “Cell phone (reception) will be very, very sketchy. There will be lots of issues with connectivity and that type of thing.”
The news outlet Unilad reported that:
With an expected one million tourists heading to Texas, 500,000 flocking to Indiana and Ohio – where Richland County is – and around 400,000 visiting New York, it’s feared that the huge influx of people gathering to watch the eclipse could cause problems with cell connectivity.
Companies such as T-Mobile and Verizon are reportedly working to get out ahead of the problem and are working to increase network capacity for the eclipse hunters.
“The sudden changes in ionospheric conditions during an eclipse can lead to the formation of ionospheric anomalies, such as ionospheric holes or depletions,” wrote HamSCI Citizen Science Team Member McKenzie Denton.
“These anomalies can disrupt radio signals and GPS navigation systems, affecting communication and navigation over the affected regions.
“… The altered ionospheric conditions during an eclipse can change how radio waves propagate through the ionosphere.
“This can cause signal fading, absorption, and refraction, affecting shortwave and satellite communication systems.”
The total solar eclipse is going to occur on Apr. 8, 2024, with the next eclipse expected to occur June 21, 2039.
In the process of preparing for another trial, former President Donald Trump shared an unexpected source of inspiration, which predictably blew the roof off the mainstream media.
The suit against Trump for allegedly paying porn star Stormy Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, hush money while he was a presidential candidate in 2016, has now been pushed back to the month of April. It is being reported that jury selection will begin Apr. 15.
In addition, Trump and his team also received some welcomed news from an appellate court on Monday.
As reported by Newsweek:
Trump faced a Monday deadline to pay the $454 million fine or post bond in his business fraud case after Judge Arthur Engoron in February ordered him to pay $355 million after siding with New York Attorney General Letitia James in a civil suit. The payment shot up past $450 million with interest.
[The appeals court] reduced his bond to $175 million dollars, substantially lower than the $454 million bond ordered by Judge Engoron, and gave him 10 more days to pay those funds.
Meanwhile, Trump shared on his social media platform Truth Social an inspiring message that was sent to him by an unnamed source.
Due to the message mentioning the persecution of Christ during Holy Week and Trump enduring trials around the same time, a media storm of accusations claims that Trump is comparing himself to Jesus.
While some argue that Trump’s legal woes are self-inflicted, many of his supporters believe there is a political witch hunt taking place against the former president to keep him out of the White House.
The majority of the post comes from Psalm 109:3-8, which is a “Plea for Judgment of False Accusers.” Trump has claimed to be fighting similar persecution from the inception of his legal problems.
Trump has already garnered one major victory against Daniels and the charges she has levied against him which Trump has categorically denied.
As reported by CNN:
The 9th US Circuit Court of Appeals sided with the former president in his effort to recoup additional legal fees from adult film star Stormy Daniels, who had filed and lost a defamation suit against him.
Daniels was ordered to pay Trump’s attorneys just over $120,000 in legal fees. That’s on top of the more than $500,000 in court-ordered payments to Trump attorneys she’s already been ordered to pay.
Nevermind the fact that Trump only shared what someone else had sent to him, which was largely verses of Scripture, but this current news cycle highlights the insanity that awaits us through the 2024 election season and beyond, should Trump retake the White House.
In the meantime, pray for all parties in American government and those running for office. What America needs right now is righteous leadership that is willing to repent for the sins of this nation and act in a biblically moral fashion.
This is just one area of debate that took place between Justin Peters, leader of Justin Peters Ministries; Jim Osman, pastor of Kootenai Community Church; Michael Brown, host of the “Line of Fire” podcast; and Sam Storms, pastor emeritus of Bridgeway Church in Oklahoma City.
The group unanimously agreed that such individuals espouse teachings conflicting with core Christian beliefs, such as the divinity of Christ and salvation by faith.
However, things got a bit more strained when the topic of discussion focused on whether individuals who have previously erred in their teachings but repented could still be deemed false teachers. A considerable portion of the discussion revolved around Benny Hinn, known for his teachings on supernatural healings, the prosperity gospel and prophecy.
The debate also focused on historical figures like Martin Luther, whose controversial writings raised questions about his classification as a false teacher. Brown highlighted Luther’s anti-Semitic writings were so radical that the Nazi’s used them in their propaganda campaign.
“He promoted things that undermine the gospel,” says Brown. “Many Jewish people think that Christianity is miserable and despicable because of Martin Luther … there is at least from our perspective … a glaring double standard, an unequal weight measure and God hates unequal weights and measures.”
While Peters admitted he did not agree with Luther on all matters of theology, he refrained from labeling Luther a false teacher based on his gospel teachings.
“Judging from the teachings that he gave concerning the gospel, I can’t on the basis of that and the things that he taught in those regards, call him a false teacher,” Peters shares.
Turning to modern Christian leaders, the discussion touched on IHOPKC founder Mike Bickle’s claims of supernatural experiences and Sid Roth’s ministry through his flagship program, It’s Supernatural.
“I believe that Mike Bickle has lied about a number of things. In fact, not the least of which he claims to have been to heaven at least twice. I don’t believe that,” says Osman.
Despite having wildly different views on certain aspects of Christianity, the four men presented themselves as positive models for Christians in their willingness to come together and communicate with one another in the search for biblical truth.
“Let’s try to work together, see the good, and we can have our biblical differences,” encourages Brown.
‘Shifting Gears’: New Tim Allen Show About Family Restoration
Tim Allen, the renowned actor and comedian, is making headlines once again as ABC orders a pilot for his latest sitcom, Shifting Gears. The show will mark Allen’s third collaboration with ABC, following the long-running hit Home Improvement and the beloved Last Man Standing.
In Shifting Gears, Allen stars as Matt, a hardheaded widower who owns a shop specializing in restoring classic cars. The multi-camera sitcom, written and executive produced by Mike and Julie Scully, promises to bring Allen’s signature humor and charm to a new generation of viewers.
While the show’s premise centers on classic car restoration, it’s likely that Shifting Gears will also explore themes of family, friendship and personal growth, with the focus being on Allen restoring his relationship with his estranged daughter, much like Allen’s previous shows. The actor’s ability to seamlessly blend humor and heart has made him a fan favorite, and there’s little doubt that Shifting Gears will continue this tradition.
ABC’s decision to order a pilot for Shifting Gears should come as no surprise, given the network’s successful history with Allen. The actor’s previous shows have been ratings hits, with Home Improvement running for eight seasons and Last Man Standing for nine. Both series showcased Allen’s comedic talents and his ability to connect with audiences on a personal level.
However, Disney made a questionable decision in the past when they attempted to recast Allen’s voice for Toy Story icon Buzz Lightyear with the voice of left-wing actor Chris Evans.
The Scullys, who will serve as executive producers alongside Allen, are no strangers to the world of television. Mike Scully is best known for his work on The Simpsons, while Julie Thacker Scully has written for a variety of popular shows.
With the show still in development, it is still a nice change of pace to see a family oriented, and appropriate, show greenlit among the surge of spiritually harmful media being pumped out by studios these days.
National Guard Preparing for 2024 Great American Eclipse
As the Great American Eclipse approaches on Apr. 8, 2024, the Oklahoma National Guard is gearing up to provide support and assistance to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for millions of Americans.
The eclipse, which will be visible across a wide swath of the United States, is expected to draw massive crowds and present a multitude of challenges for local and state authorities. Some regions have already ordered emergency and disaster declarations ahead of the influx of people in rural areas.
In response to this pressing issue, the ONG is taking proactive steps to ensure a smooth and successful eclipse event takes place.
To prepare for the eclipse watchers flocking to their state, the ONG has been working closely with state and local authorities to develop comprehensive plans and strategies. This includes identifying potential risks and vulnerabilities, establishing clear lines of communication and conducting training exercises to ensure that all personnel are prepared for the event.
One of the key challenges the ONG will face is managing the sheer number of visitors arriving to watch the total eclipse. This 120-mile-wide path will stretch from Texas to Maine, passing through several major cities and drawing millions of visitors from around the world. To manage this surge in population, the ONG will be deploying additional personnel and resources to key locations along the path.
In addition to managing the crowds, the ONG will also be responsible for ensuring public safety during the eclipse. This includes providing emergency medical support, coordinating search and rescue operations, and assisting with any natural disasters or other emergencies that may occur during the event.
As reported by Newsweek:
Lt. Col Jabonn Flurry, commander of the 63rd Civil Support Team, said: “This influx of visitors has the potential to overtax local resources and thanks to the training and experience our Guardsmen have working alongside local agencies all across Oklahoma, the CST is uniquely qualified to support our fellow Oklahomans.”
A major highlight of Pastor Brewer’s talk is the upcoming Great American Eclipse which will take place Apr. 8. Referring to Jesus’ words about signs in the sun, moon and stars in Matthew 24, Brewer pointed out the significance of this celestial event, signaling the start of a crucial seven-year cycle since the last major American eclipse in 2017.
For those skeptical about the celestial signs, Brewer connected the upcoming eclipse to a verse in Exodus 4:8, where God tells Moses that if people don’t believe the first sign, they will believe the second. This biblical tie-in adds weight to the belief that this eclipse isn’t just a regular occurrence but a divine message.
Meanwhile, the ONG’s efforts are not limited to the day of the eclipse itself. In the days and weeks leading up to the event, the ONG will be working with local and state agencies to educate the public on safety precautions and best practices for viewing the eclipse. This includes distributing information on proper eye protection, safe viewing locations and other important safety tips.
Tucker Carlson Talking About Spiritual Warfare in Texas Republican Event
Conservative political commentator Tucker Carlson recently continued his expanding embrace of Holy Spirit-related topics, and spiritual warfare in particular.
At a Mar. 19, sold-out fundraising event for the Tarrant County Republican Party in the Fort Worth Stockyards, Texas, Carlson shared his thoughts on the country’s current political climate and the role of spiritual warfare which underpins it. He emphasized that the struggle is not merely between political parties, but between good and evil. Carlson encouraged attendees to see the spiritual war behind political battles, taking direction from Ephesians 6:12 which says, “For our fight is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, and against spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.”
The Bible has much to say about spiritual warfare, and Carlson’s speech echoed many of these themes. In Ephesians 6:10-18, believers are encouraged to put on the full armor of God. This passage reminds us as Christians that we are actively engaged in a spiritual battle and must rely on God’s strength and protection to stand firm against the enemy.
In recent years, several big-name celebrities have spoken openly about their growing faith in Jesus, further emphasizing the importance of spiritual warfare in today’s society. For example, celebrity tattoo artist Kat Von D was delivered from her alcoholism and was baptized after giving her life to Jesus Christ. In addition, she rid her household of a multitude of books and resources on witchcraft. Joining Von D in a new life in Jesus, Hispanic music megastar Ramón Luis Ayala Rodríguez (aka, Daddy Yankee) announced that he was retiring from music to pursue the call God put on his heart to evangelize in his home country of Puerto Rico.
Carlson’s speech at the Texas Republican event highlights the growing awareness of spiritual warfare in today’s political environment. As Christians, it is essential for us to recognize the spiritual turmoil and rely on God’s wisdom and guidance against the forces of darkness. By doing so, we can make a positive impact in our communities and the world at large, fighting for truth, righteousness and hope in the name of Jesus.
American Bible Society Shutting Down $60 Million Museum
The American Bible Society recently announced that it will be closing its Faith and Liberty Discovery Center in Philadelphia. The museum, which cost approximately $60 million to build, will cease operations on Apr. 1, 2024, with the last day for public visits being Mar. 28, 2024.
The FLDC, located on the Philadelphia Independence Mall near the Liberty Bell display, opened in May 2021 with the goal of educating people of all religious views about the impact of Christianity on American history. However, it struggled from the start, with ticket sales significantly lower than projected. In the fiscal year through June 30, 2022, the center only generated $54,000 in ticket sales, while reporting total expenses of around $11 million.
ABS cited “structural limitations,” the impact of the COVID lockdowns and “other factors impacting sustainability” as reasons for the closure in an announcement to The Christian Post. The organization also faced financial challenges, including the loss of a major donor in 2022 and layoffs within the company.
In a public statement, ABS President and CEO Jennifer Holloran expressed gratitude for the center’s service and the inspiration it provided to visitors saying, “the Faith and Liberty Discovery Center has served as a place of exceptional learning and inspiration since its doors opened.”
Rob Wonderling, the FLDC Executive Director, echoed this sentiment, saying it had been an honor to serve the center and witness the ways it spurred personal discovery and engagement. “The center was an innovative vision for sharing the importance of Scripture and I’m proud of the role our dedicated staff played in its mission,” Wonderling shares.
As the ABS works toward a new vision for the organization, Christianity Today reported, “Historically the organization has funded Bible translations around the world with a goal of translating the Bible into every living language by 2033. In recent years it has focused resources on its Bible-based trauma healing initiative to help faith communities address community trauma.”
The Bible is rife with examples of God using prophetic dreams to speak to humanity. Sadly, in today’s times, all too many are quick to dismiss this practice as fake or conjured up.
The Bible recounts numerous instances where individuals, from the patriarchs to prophets, received divine messages and guidance through dreams. This line of communication from God to us has offered insights, warnings and instructions, and continues to this day.
In the book of Joel, it is prophesied that in the last days, God will pour out His Spirit upon all flesh, leading to visions and dreams. This is referenced again in Acts 2 by Peter during his speech at Pentecost.
Nowhere in the Bible does it say to blindly heed all utterances as prophecy, but to instead test the spirits and discern who is a false teacher or prophet.
This is exactly what Chris Reed, President and CEO of MorningStar Ministries, said when he shared a dream which he believes to be prophetic in nature due to it’s intensity. This dream occurred, Reed shares, on Saturday, Mar. 9, 2024, and in the dream an awakening took place from April of 2024 through July 2025.
“I want to submit it to you all, to pray about it, to seek the Lord about it. I believe there is hope and redemption in it. But I believe it’s a warning. … I’m only sharing the dream, no more, no less,” Reed shares to the congregation as he explains what he saw.
I was moving fast in time, starting in April 2024 (with the eclipse that crossed over Texas, which people have been talking about; it seemed Texas was pulled into this). A conception happened at this time and coincided with this eclipse, leading to something serious happening in the nation before the elections in November 2024.
This “event” caused absolute chaos and affected the elections in the U.S. in November 2024. It seemed like an epic “October surprise,” and pandemonium ensued.
I knew President Biden had fizzled out, and they had tried hard to prop him up. This “event” caused a major division of America right before and during the election time. It intensified the division to a very scary and intense level.
And then the dream shifted, and it was somehow 1968, and I was given an old newspaper which said “assassination of two major leaders in the same year of the Chicago convention” (I knew that was Robert Kennedy Sr. and Martin Luther King Jr. who were both killed in 1968). (The Democratic convention is scheduled for Chicago in 2024 as well.) But through all of this painful chaos in the streets, economy and on the news, America had a huge awakening of awareness of the evil and corruption going on in America. It was like the vast majority of the nation said, “we can never let this happen again…we can’t!”
The dream ended, and at the end of the dream it was July 2025 (July 11, was highlighted to me). It seemed like most of the chaos ended in the nation, and things started to heal by July 2025. It had all started in April/May 2024 (with the eclipse/conception) and was 40 weeks of pregnancy with intense birth pangs intensifying before the delivery, and then there were complications before the birth AND after the (40 weeks) birth. (The birth was in January 2025, and was placed in an incubator). The baby lived, and it was beautiful. The baby was named “America.”
“We need to pray about all of this. I think this is a a warning, and a call to the intercessors and to the people of God to take this serious. Because in the dream referencing the 1968 Democratic Convention in Chicago, referencing knowing Martin Luther King Jr. and of course Bobby Kennedy were both killed, I felt that the warning was there, [it] seems to be an indication of a coming assassination attempt sometime during this 16-month process from April 20124 till July 2025,” Reed explains.
Calling for the church to join him in prayer for America, Reed hopes that a spirit of repentance from the people of this land may divert the nation from this path of destruction.
Just as the judgment of Nineveh was averted due to their obedience, submission and repentance before the Lord, so too can the judgment of America be diverted if her people will submit once again to the ways of God and repent of our collective sin against Him.
