The Bible warns that the last days will be marked by a dramatic decline in morality, and revivalist Isaiah Saldivar says those signs are evident now.

Teaching verse by verse through 2 Timothy 2–4, he explained, “This is that last days type of people. And the phrase last days is different than the end times. The last days is the time between Jesus’s ascension and His return to the earth. So that’s the time that we’re living in.”

Saldivar stressed that Paul believed he was already in the last days and that believers today are still in that same period of history.

One of the clearest signs, according to Saldivar, is a culture driven by selfishness and sin. Citing Paul’s warning, he said people would be “backbiters, haters of God, boasters, proud, violent, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents.” He added that many would even “have a form of godliness but deny its power,” urging Christians to recognize and separate themselves from such influences.

Saldivar also warned of false teachers who “are always learning, learning, learning, but… never able to come to the knowledge of the truth,” describing a generation obsessed with knowledge but resisting the transforming power of God’s Word.

Another sobering sign, Saldivar said, is how many people in the last days will reject truth in favor of comforting lies. “They will turn their ears away from the truth and be turned aside to fables,” he quoted from Paul, pointing to modern spiritual trends that emphasize what feels good rather than what is biblical. Yet, like Paul, believers are called to endure, with Saldivar reminding listeners of Paul’s powerful farewell: “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”

Miller explained, “AI doesn’t have the Holy Spirit. It’s not a person with a soul. And if you are trading in the work of the Holy Spirit for something that might sound better but doesn’t actually have the fruit of the Spirit… you’re missing it.”

Chatfield agreed that the greatest danger comes not from AI itself, but from misplaced dependence. “I think the temptation is when we start depending on ChatGPT more than going to God, then that’s when the enemy has us in a really solid grip,” he said. While clarifying that he is not against technology as a whole, Chatfield stressed, “AI in and of itself, I don’t think is the problem. But what he is saying right here, I think is 100% true.”

For Chatfield, the issue is about discernment. “What sets the Christian apart is the Holy Spirit,” he explained. “AI has the ability to aggregate knowledge, but it does not have the ability to communicate wisdom. Why? Because wisdom begins with the fear of the Lord.”

The message ultimately pointed believers back to the source of true understanding. As Chatfield continued, “We don’t need artificial intelligence. We actually can have anointed intelligence… we’re going to get ideas, we’re going to get creativity, we’re going to have strategy that the world cannot compete with.”

On a recent episode of Prophecy Watchers, host Gary Stearman sat down with author and researcher L.A. Marzulli to discuss Marzulli’s new film, Holy Shroud, Holy Fire. Together they explored not only the scientific anomalies surrounding the Shroud, but also its deep theological significance. “The Shroud, I think, is the most studied artifact on the planet,” Marzulli said. “It is not a painting. It’s not produced by the hand of man. So what is it?”

Marzulli pointed out that the Shroud was first photographed in 1898 by Secondo Pia. The resulting image shocked the world. “When you look at the Shroud it’s a negative image, and when you photograph it, it becomes a positive image. That is astounding,” Marzulli explained. “How would a 15th century forger know that photography would be invented hundreds of years later?”

The debate over the Shroud’s authenticity intensified after carbon-14 dating in the 1980s suggested it came from the Middle Ages. But Marzulli noted that those tests sampled a repaired section of cloth. Later research by Ray Rogers revealed that the fibers from the tested corner contained cotton from a medieval patch rather than the original linen. “That’s what skewed the carbon-14 dating,” Marzulli said. New studies, including work by researcher Giulio Fanti, suggest the cloth truly dates back about 2,000 years.

What makes the Shroud so compelling, Marzulli stressed, are the forensic details. “Every inch of his body, front and back, is scourged, open wounds. He’s in shock. And finally, when he’s pinned, it’s not in the palm of the hand—it goes at a slight angle and comes out the back of the wrist. And that’s precisely what the Shroud shows.” Even the mixture of blood and water at the spear wound matches the Gospel account. “Forensically, it is 110% accurate on every single level,” Marzulli emphasized.

Adding weight to the case is the Sudarium of Oviedo, a head cloth mentioned in John 20. This separate relic has been in Spain since at least the 7th century. When overlaid with the Shroud’s facial image, researchers have found “120 points of congruency,” Marzulli noted. “That means the Sudarium was on the same man who is in the Shroud. And of course, we believe it’s Jesus.”

Marzulli also connected the mysterious image to the ancient tradition of the Holy Fire in Jerusalem. For over 1,700 years, believers have witnessed a blue flame appear each Easter at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, said to be the tomb of Christ. The flame lights candles without burning for several minutes. “We believe that the Holy Fire created this. It doesn’t burn, it just scorches. And that’s what the image is,” Marzulli explained, linking the phenomenon to the Shroud’s formation.

To both Stearman and Marzulli, the evidence points beyond historical artifact and into the realm of divine witness. “It’s forensic evidence of the greatest event in the history of the world,” Marzulli said. “The resurrection of the fully God, fully man, Jesus the Messiah.” Stearman reflected that perhaps in “these last of the last days, the Lord is revealing things to us” as reminders of Christ’s victory over death.

Following President Donald Trump’s Jan. 23 executive order stripping hospitals of federal funding if they perform sex-change procedures on minors, a growing number of medical institutions have announced they will halt such practices. The directive also applies to institutions receiving research and education grants and defines the “chemical and surgical mutilation of children” as the use of puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones and surgeries that remove healthy body parts and sex organs.

As reported by The Christian Post, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services released a report earlier this year warning of the “risk of significant harms including infertility/sterility, sexual dysfunction, impaired bone density accrual, adverse cognitive impacts, cardiovascular disease and metabolic disorders, psychiatric disorders, surgical complications, and regret.”

Even before new rules were fully implemented, hospitals and insurers across the country began taking steps to comply.

Here are the hospitals and health insurers that have paused some or all types of sex-change procedures for minors:

1. The University of Pennsylvania
   The Daily Pennsylvanian reported on May 29 that the Philadelphia-based university’s college of medicine would no longer perform these procedures. Penn Medicine Chief Medical Officer Dr. Patrick Brennan called it a “difficult decision that we know impacts patients and families who place their trust in our care teams.”
2. Children’s National Hospital (Washington, D.C.)
   In a statement posted online, the hospital announced that “in light of escalating legal and regulatory risks to Children’s National, our providers, and the families we serve, we will be discontinuing the prescription of gender-affirming medications.” The change will officially take effect on Aug. 30, after a previous pause was announced in January.
3. Kaiser Permanente
   A spokesperson for Kaiser Permanente told KTXL that effective Aug. 29, the provider “paused sex-change surgeries for trans-identified youth younger than 19” following internal and external consultations. However, the insurer will continue prescribing puberty blockers and hormones. “We recognize that this is an extremely challenging and stressful time for our patients … and will work closely with each patient to support their care journey,” the spokesperson added.
4. University of Chicago Medicine
   In a July 18 statement, the hospital explained it would stop prescribing puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, and performing surgeries on minors due to “emerging federal actions which would place at risk our ability to care for all Medicare or Medicaid patients.” As the largest Medicaid provider in Illinois, the institution said this move was “necessary to ensure UChicago Medicine can continue serving our broader community and delivering on our mission.”
5. Children’s Hospital of Richmond (Virginia Commonwealth University)
   On July 29, the hospital announced it would “cease providing Gender-Affirming Care” for youth under 19 after a “thoughtful and thorough assessment that revealed no other viable options.” The change will take effect at the end of October. “As we wind down these services over the next 90 days, our care teams will provide support and assist with safe transfer of care for existing patients, considering each youth’s needs with compassion and clinical judgment,” the hospital stated.

Graham responded that this global hostility reflects an age-old pattern.

“There is a subtle and sometimes not so subtle anti-Semitism in the world,” he said. “And we shouldn’t be surprised by this because the Bible tells us that the people of Israel will be scattered and they will be persecuted.”

For Graham, Europe’s shift away from Israel reveals not only a political betrayal but a spiritual reality. “In Europe, you have a situation where once again since the Second World War and the Holocaust, you have Jewish people that are very concerned about their future and if they’re going to be supported,” he explained.

The rise of pro-Palestinian protests in America and the adoption of anti-Israel rhetoric, even by some in the church, deeply concerns him. “When you’re supporting a movement that is anti-good and antichrist and anti-Jewish, then you’re supporting something that is destructive at every level,” he warned.

Graham strongly rejected the idea of replacement theology, which claims that God has abandoned His promises to Israel in favor of the church. “God never breaks a promise,” he declared. “Israel will not be replaced in God’s providence and God’s plans. They are right in the center of it.”

The Bible speaks of a mysterious race of giants who walked the earth in ancient times. From the “mighty men of renown” in Genesis 6 to the towering warrior Goliath who faced David in battle, Scripture records the existence of men whose size and strength were far beyond ordinary. “When you read the book of Genesis chapter 6, it says that there were mighty men of renowned giants that were in the earth back in the time of Noah, both before the flood and after the flood,” Stone explained. He reminded viewers that the Bible names giants slain by David and his men, Goliath, Ishbibenob, Saf and others, standing at an estimated nine to ten feet tall.

Stone noted that unusual archaeological finds may be pointing back to these ancient giants. “There was a pit found in Egypt with these real… right hands of giant bones. The hands were enormous and that may have been one proof of that,” he said.

More recently, archaeologists unearthed oversized leather shoes at a Roman fort. While most shoes from that period were standard in length, some measured over 12 inches. Stone questioned the simple explanations given by researchers: “If… it was just a shoe that was made in the winter and they put extra socks on, you should have a whole bog full of hundreds and hundreds of these shoes… That’s just my opinion.”

He suggested the possibility that the shoes could belong to “perhaps Rephaim or giant-sized men that were kind of a… DNA mix that still existed at that particular period of time.” This speculation ties directly to Jesus’ warning in Matthew 24:37: “As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the time of the coming of the Son of Man.”

According to Stone, the link between the days of Noah and modern discoveries is too important to ignore. “I do believe that at some point… because the days of Noah were connected to giants, that you may find some kind of evidence,” he said.

Stone closed his message with encouragement for believers: “We are in the time of Noah and Lot, parallel seasons which remind us that the Lord is coming. Keep your faith. Keep your head up and keep on looking forward.”

National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir ascended the Temple Mount on Sunday, joining thousands of Jewish visitors expected to come throughout the day. Under his policy, Israeli police allowed Jewish visitors to do something unprecedented: “sing, pray in the eastern section of the mount, and even prostrate,” a significant departure from the long-held restrictions that prohibited overt Jewish worship.

According to i24 News, videos captured the moment as “dozens of Jewish worshippers [were] singing and dancing openly on the mount,” with police making no effort to intervene. Associates of Ben-Gvir hailed the moment as “a monumental change that hasn’t happened in a thousand years,” affirming his belief that there can be “no law permitting racist discrimination against Jews on the Temple Mount or anywhere else in Israel.”

At the same time, the Temple Institute reported a powerful surge in Jewish participation. In their words: “More than 4,000 Jews made their way to the Temple Mount on Tish’a b’Av, despite the limited hours of permitted entry. Meanwhile, at the foot of the Temple Mount many tens of thousands of Jews gathered in the Western Wall Plaza to pray for the rebuilding of the Holy Temple.”

The cry for restoration is growing louder in Israel, as thousands risk criticism, opposition and tension to ascend the Mount, while tens of thousands more unite in prayer at the Wall. The hunger for God’s house to be rebuilt is undeniable.

These two developments, the government loosening restrictions on Jewish worship at the Temple Mount and the masses ascending to pray for the Temple’s restoration, cannot be viewed apart from the prophetic timeline outlined in Scripture. The Bible tells us that a Temple will one day stand in Jerusalem again, one in which sacrifices will resume and which will play a central role in the last days (Dan. 9:27; Matt. 24:15; Rev. 11:1-2). The longing of the Jewish people to ascend the Mount and pray for the Temple’s rebuilding is not just religious fervor; it is part of the divine plan spoken of thousands of years ago.

The prophet Zechariah declared that in the end times, Jerusalem would become a heavy stone for all nations to bear (Zech. 12:3), and we are watching that reality unfold. Every small shift in worship policy at the Temple Mount sparks international criticism, stirs regional anger and heightens tensions, just as the Word of God said it would. Yet what is often overlooked in the chaos is the greater truth, God’s hand is at work, and His Word is being fulfilled before our very eyes.

Chinese authorities have formally arrested Protestant pastor Huang Yizi on charges of “illegal business operations,” part of the Chinese Communist Party’s intensifying crackdown on unregistered Christian activity.

“Pastor Huang Yizi was informed of his formal arrest this week, more than a month after he and four others were taken into custody by Pingyang Public Security officials on June 26,” U.K.-based Christian Solidarity Worldwide reported. The believers, from Zhejiang Province, were detained the following day.

As reported by The Christian Post, “Two of the five were released on bail last Friday, while the remaining three, including Huang, remain in custody. The charges against the other detainees have not been made public. A sixth church member was detained on July 17 and remains in custody.”

Under China’s Criminal Procedure Law, authorities must request a formal arrest within 30 days. Huang’s representative said the arrest was rushed through suspiciously, raising “concerns about the depth of the review and the lack of official documentation.”

This is not Huang’s first imprisonment. He previously served a year in prison in 2014 for protesting the demolition of church crosses in Wenzhou and was later held again on charges of “endangering national security.”

The Chinese Human Rights Lawyers Group condemned the regime’s use of vague accusations like “illegal business operations” to suppress pastors, stressing that sharing sermons is a constitutionally protected expression of faith.

In today’s culture, tolerance is often praised as a virtue. But what happens when tolerance crosses the line into allowing compromise in the church? Scripture warns that the acceptance of false teaching and worldly practices can subtly erode intimacy with God. The danger is not always obvious, it creeps in quietly, cloaked in the language of grace, until believers find themselves far from the holiness Christ calls them to.

Author and Bible teacher John Bevere explored this in a recent discussion on the message to the church of Pergamum in Revelation. Quoting directly from Jesus’ words, Bevere highlighted, “But I have a few complaints against you. Jesus said, you tolerate. Remember the word tolerate. You tolerate some among you whose teaching is like that of Balaam… He taught them to sin by eating food offered to idols and committing sexual sin.”

Bevere emphasized that the heart of the problem wasn’t simply the sin itself but the church’s willingness to put up with it. “Repent of your sin. What sin? The sin of tolerance. This is interesting. It’s not the sin of teaching them actually teaching idolatry and sexual immorality. No, he said you are tolerating those who teach this.”

For Bevere, this cuts to the very core of spiritual compromise. He explained why Jesus introduces Himself in Revelation as the one with the sharp two-edged sword: “I personally believe this is because what he’s about to do with this church is cut something out that is very deadly, and that’s called tolerance.” Tolerance of false teaching, he warns, doesn’t just allow sin to flourish, it robs believers of what they most desire: closeness with God. “The very thing that most people cry out for they give up, and that is intimacy with God.”

Bevere also connected this with the destructive message of the Nicolaitans in the early church, noting how their distorted view of grace mirrors modern trends. “We have developed a grace message, which is exactly what the Nicolaitans did. They developed this grace message that permits a very ungodly, worldly, fleshly lifestyle.” This so-called grace may sound appealing, but it quietly undermines the very relationship with Christ it claims to uphold.

It should be clear to all Christians that silence and compromise are not pleasing to God. As Bevere said, “Remaining silent on these very critical matters is not pleasing.” The call of Christ is not to tolerate teaching that leads people into sin, but to confront it, with both boldness and compassion, so that believers can walk in purity and true fellowship with God.

Bevere’s reminder is firm but necessary. It challenges us to examine our lives and our churches: What are we tolerating that Christ would confront? The words of Revelation are timeless. The call is not to bend with culture but to stand firm in truth. As Bevere makes clear, our response must be decisive: “We refuse to compromise, we don’t tolerate, we don’t tolerate in our own life, we don’t teach it, we don’t tolerate the teaching of it, but we expose it.”

Now is the time for believers to stand guard against the sin of tolerance and pursue the intimacy with God that only comes through holy living, obedience and uncompromising devotion.
