Jonathan Cahn on the Coming of God’s Wrath Against Mockers

In a recent prophetic message, Jonathan Cahn issued a dire warning about the consequences faced by those who mock God, highlighting instances such as the death of a Turkish member of parliament and emphasizing the lessons to be drawn from these events.

While many may believe that the God of the Old Testament is different from the God of today, this couldn’t be further from the truth.

Scripture says that God is the same yesterday, today and forever. And the God whose name is holy and should never be desecrated has reminded people of who He is in several recent events, such as the moment that a member of the Turkish parliament was struck down dead after cursing the Jewish people and their God.

“Even if you escape the torment of history, you will not be able to escape the wrath of God (Allah). I greet you all with respect,” the member said before immediately collapsing to the ground, dead.

“He called down a curse from heaven on Israel, and he was struck dead,” Cahn said.

The Great ‘I AM’ inserted Himself into this situation. There are no other gods before Him, and He has His hands on the Israeli people. Those who mock Him, those who curse Him, will find themselves cursed.

Not only will God strike down those who curse His people, but He will send warning signals to those placed in authority for His glory that turn away from Him.

Just as Pope Francis decided that he could bless same-sex unions as godly even if not biblical, God now is showing Himself to be the One who has the power to take away the mantle of the pope. How is He doing this?

On Dec. 17, the Pope’s birthday, a statue of the apostle Peter was struck by lightning. On the surface, this may seem like pure coincidence—until you look a bit further into it. The pope is said to have the position succeeded by the apostle Peter, and the location of the statue—Argentina, in Buenos Aires—is where Pope Francis is from. No longer does this seem to be pure coincidence, but rather a warning from God. What the Pope has blessed is not from God, and it does not have His approval.

The part of the statue that was struck is also significant; the right hand that held keys, symbolizing authority, is now gone. The keys of authority given to the pope have been taken away.

“If you go outside the will of God, you can’t wield the authority of God,” Cahn said. “If you disobey the ways of God, you have no authority. And if any man goes against the will of God and instructs others to do the same, they have no authority at all.”

These incidents are clear warnings with a clear purpose: there is no other god but Yahweh, and He is the one with all power and authority. It is His words and His words alone that speak the truth, and to go outside of these words and falsely proclaim something else as truth is to lie about the Holy Lamb of God.

When Ice Spice Brought Satan to the Super Bowl

During the Super Bowl, God was given lots of glory throughout the night, except by one particular person: Ice Spice.

The rapper joined Taylor Swift, who was there supporting her boyfriend, Travis Kelce. But not everything was as innocent as it seems.

In a video posted on X, Ice Spice can be seen making hand gestures at the game which are based on demonic, satanic symbols. Not only did she make these hand gestures, but she wore the upside down cross, which is know as a satanic, anti-Christian symbol. In the clip she can be seen holding onto the piece of jewelry after making these hand signals.

To top off the outright Satan-supporting actions, Ice Spice donned an all-black Balenciaga outfit. The brand became controversial after a previous children’s holiday campaign was accused of promoting child abuse and sexual-laden activities. The collar on Ice Spice’s shirt had the brand’s label on it.

What makes Ice Spice’s actions and clothing choice more questionable to the Christian community is part of her collaboration with Taylor Swift on her song, ‘Karma.’

It was in the music video for ‘Karma’ that Swift described karma as being good to her, a god, even her boyfriend. Taking the entire scenario further, Swift showed a demonic realm in the music video with women surrounding her with masks. This mirrored Sam Smith’s Grammy performance from last year when he dressed up as Satan with an entourage of “demons” surrounding him while he sang ‘Unholy.’

As Ice Spice’s connection to Swift does not make her actions surprising, she unfortunately represents the next celebrity to go down a dark road for the sake of fame.

This year, Ice Spice herself had the opportunity to be featured in a Super Bowl ad for Starry lemon lime flavored soda. On the surface, it would appear that Ice Spice has received fame, attention and acceptance into the most astute group of celebrities with Swift. Yet, there is so much more she is actually missing out on.

In the story of the rich young ruler, Jesus asks just one thing of the man who wants to inherit eternal life: sell his earthly possessions and follow Him. The young man was saddened by this, and went back to his earthly belongings. It was following this that Jesus said, “Many who are first will be last, and the last first,” (Mark 10: 31).

When we look at celebrities, including Ice Spice, we must remember that life is not always about what has been acquired in riches and fame—especially if it includes celebrating and supporting that which secretly wants to kill us. Instead, by seeking the kingdom of heaven first, we will gain the heavenly treasures worth more than anything this life could ever offer.

Has the River from the Garden of Eden Been Found?

Has the Pishon River from the Garden of Eden been found?

Among the key elements mentioned in the biblical narrative of the creation story, there are some features described that may help us to decipher where the Garden of Eden is located. The four rivers that flowed through Eden are the Pishon, Gihon, Tigris and Euphrates. However, the precise location of the Gihon and Pishon rivers has remained a subject of debate and speculation.

Archaeologist Joel Kramer embarked on a thrilling quest to decode the passages of Genesis, aiming to uncover clues that could lead him to the Garden of Eden, in particular by finding the Pishon River.

Genesis 2:10-11 says: “A river flowed out of Eden to water the garden, and from there it parted and became four rivers. The name of the first is Pishon; it encompasses the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold.”

It is this river, the Pishon, that Kramer was in search for. Through meticulous analysis and deep research, Kramer identified the southern Arabian Peninsula as a promising location, where precious commodities have always abounded.

“It’s just a fit between the description of the land of Havilah in Genesis 2 and the land of Arabia,” Kramer said.

Not only does the Arabian peninsula fit the description based on elements of the land itself, but its geographical location makes the most sense. Southern Iraq is where the Tigris and the Euphrates rivers meet and flow into the Persian Gulf. Kramer also identified something that most would not have; the Karun River in Iran meets these two rivers, which makes it a possible candidate as the Gihon from Scripture.

A post shared by Joel P. Kramer of Expedition Bible (@expeditionbible)

While two of the four rivers are easily identifiable and the third can be based on some inquisitive thinking, the Pishon River is still harder to identify. However, in Saudi Arabia lies an area known as the ‘cradle of gold,’ which today includes 55 gold mines.

As Kramer continued on his quest to find the Pishon River, he discovered how the Hijaz mountains of Saudi Arabia just may hold the key to the Pishon River and the location of the Garden of Eden may be.

The Wadi Rum in Jordan, which contains non-native rocks most likely from the distant contains Hijaz Mountains, indicates that a flowing river may have connected what is now a desert region.

While we cannot know for certain if this geographical landmark holds the key to the exact location of the Garden of Eden or if it was the Pishon River, we can still hope in the fact that we will be restored to an eternal paradise someday with Christ.

King Charles: Prophetic Warning Unveils Shifting Power

Amid King Charles III’s cancer diagnosis, prophetic words are being unveiled that foresaw a short reign for the king and a transitional power shift to Prince William.

Looking back at old prophetic clips, Joseph Z shared the prophetic words God had placed on him about what would happen with a power shift in the British monarchy.

A Rise of a False King: Right before Queen Elizabeth II passed away, Joseph Z said he felt her presence slip away. From that, came a rise of a new leadership under Charles. However, this would not be the true leader of the people.

“The Lord began to speak to me and said, ‘the king has come, but it is a false king,'” Z said on Jan. 4, of 2023.

This king would not stay in power according to the prophecy because someone else would come—another would take a step into this place. At the end of the day, there would only be one king over the earth, and that is Christ. Like a heralding trumpet in the stillness of dawn, these prophecies herald a time of transition, where the mantle of power passes from one hand to another, amidst whispers of a “false king,” which would lead to mourning.

The Mourning of the King: Z’s prophecies went further than simply calling out Charles as the ‘false king.’ With this false king would come “mourning of the king,” but with this the “sign of the king shall rise.” While we do not know how the king’s diagnosis will go, it is clear that there will be a transitional season from one power of authority to the next.

Yet, amidst the prophetic foretellings, a steadfast refusal echoes from the current figurehead. King Charles has already been known as resolute in his stance that he will not abdicate the throne after having waited for such a long time to gain this position of power. Yet, it is God alone who determines who stays and who transitions out of power.

The Rise of a Solomon: With this prophetic foretelling of a transitional season will be the rise of a Solomon, Prince William. His anointed time will come to step into the office of position God-ordained for him. However, when people expect him to come into this place of authority will be different than God’s timing for this transition to happen.

Z prophesied that Charles’ time with the crown is a transitional period of time, but that the “Spirit of the Lord will come upon William.”

“His time will come, and it will be very, very important when it does, and we’ve got to pray for that because there’s a change of the guard of a generation that is right upon us right now,” Z said.

This anointing that will come upon William has nothing to do with what he’s done or his imperfections, but rather it is based on the Lord’s doing.

Only time will tell how these prophetic warnings will happen, and when they will take place.

John Ramirez: ‘Are You Going to Live, Stay or Die?’

When it comes to the things of the spirit, one thing is true: we have the option to either stay as we are or to grow more Christlike. Regardless of where you are now on your faith journey, one thing remains clear: God has a plan and a purpose for each of us in 2024 and beyond.

In a recent message, evangelist John Ramirez emphasized that where you are right now doesn’t have to be the end game of where you are going. Spiritual starvation does not have to be the end of what God has for you. As Ramirez asked, “Are you going to live, stay or die?” Instead of experiencing spiritual death and delay, there are three keys worth understanding so you can grow instead of staying or falling away from victory in Christ.

Vision: God is the God of vision. He sees everything we will ever encounter, and He knows all of the challenges and uncertainties we will face. God can help us navigate through these circumstances, while it is Satan who wants to keep us in a box, highlighting the areas where we didn’t quite measure up.

“I understand what’s around me, but it doesn’t dictate where I’m going,” Ramirez said of this point.

As Christians, we must refuse to let our past or current circumstances define us. Our current spiritual condition does not determine our destiny; rather, it serves as a testimony to what God is going to do in our lives. Vision is not merely seeing with our physical eyes; it’s about perceiving God’s purpose and direction for what He has next. It’s about understanding where He is leading us and trusting in His plan, even when the path seems unclear.

Understand Spiritual Warfare: There is nothing that the devil wants to do more than try to distort or steal the vision God has given us for this life. In order to truly walk in the fulfillment of all that God has for us, we must be willing to block out all the distractions and negative influences trying to attack our identity and purpose.

Just as Jesus faced temptation in the wilderness, we too will be tempted and tried, which is why it is critical for us to understand how to fight the good fight of faith in the spiritual battles to come. Yet, like Jesus, we can combat the enemy with the truth of God’s Word and the clarity of His vision for our lives.

“Whatever you have to fight for, maintain and finish with, the devil’s after because if he can take it from you, he can deplete you, he can fragment you from somewhere in order to control you,” Ramirez said.

In the face of spiritual warfare, the devil will try to convince us that God’s promises are unattainable or that our purpose is insignificant. Yet Scripture very clearly reminds us over and over again that God is a God of covenant who absolutely never breaks the promises He makes to His people.

Gain Knowledge and Wisdom: Without godly wisdom and vision, it is impossible to follow in the path that God has for each of us. When we lack wisdom, it is easy to fall into the snares Satan wants to trap us in by questioning the very vision that God has for us.

“The devil wants to take your answer, he wants to take your vision, [and] give you question marks,” Ramirez said.

What Satan wants to do is contrary to what God has planned. God’s promises are ‘yes and amen,’ and as Proverbs 2:6 tells us, “For the LORD gives wisdom; out of His mouth come knowledge and understanding.”

By understanding God’s vision, knowing that the devil wants to attack that vision and going to the Word of God and in prayer for wisdom and discernment about that vision, Jesus can take us from spiritual death and stagnation to a vibrant life found only through Him.

What is the ‘Effeminate’ Jesus?

In a post-Christian society, how do people perceive Jesus?

History shows us how Jesus has had varying depictions all throughout time. Most have shown a resurrected Jesus in robes of white, with all power and glory illuminating from Him. Many have shown a crucified Christ, hung on a cross, nails piercing His hands and feet as a bloodied crown of thorns punctures His head.

But now, we live in an age where the ‘effeminate’ Jesus has emerged.

What, might you ask is a depiction of an ‘effeminate’ Jesus?

In Seville, Spain, a promotional Easter poster was released as part of an exhibition which portrayed Jesus in a suggestive manner, depicting Him with feminine facial features, a beard, a golden headpiece, mostly nude.

The Catholic group known as the Institute of Social Policy denounced the portrait.

“We consider this poster a serious offense that completely decontextualizes the true meaning of [Holy Week]. We demand its [immediate] removal,” they wrote on X.

While the religious group is denouncing this portrait, the question is: what more does this say about the post-Christian era that is permeating the entirety of Western society? What does this say about how the Christian faith is being recognized globally?

If we look at Scripture from Matthew 24:37-38, we see Jesus’ stark warning of what would happen during the end times.

“As were the days of Noah, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day Noah entered the ark…”

The days of Noah were known for extremely sinful behavior, and as such, we too can expect this type of sinful—and blasphemous behavior to take place during the end times.

— Greg Laurie (@greglaurie) February 1, 2024

This sweet cartoon seeking to emanate the light of Jesus to the world couldn’t come at a better time than right now as we see entertainment giants like Disney are tearing down the innocence of children with storylines filled with the demonic, LGBTQ ideologies and other ideological factors that couldn’t be further away from the type of messaging that they actually need. We’ve seen this most recently with Amazon’s new show “Hazbin Hotel,” which glorifies Satan as the good guy in the creation story, completely ignoring the fact that it is because of Satan’s deception that sin entered the world.

While we do and will continue to see corruption in our fallen world, we can protect ourselves by sticking close to the foundation of Christ and filling our spirits with godly, enriching entertainment that will edify us to be more like Jesus.

Greg Locke Claps Back at Christian Ouija Board

No, you don’t need a Ouija board to connect with the Holy Spirit.

In an Instagram video, Pastor Greg Locke is clapping back after being sent a “Christian” Ouija board.

“The church in the American culture is so, so deceived and brainwashed by witchcraft,” Locke says.

Get your FREE CHARISMA NEWSLETTERS today! Stay up to date with current issues, Holy Spirit news, Christian teachings, Charisma videos & more!

The board game, which claims to have the power to allow people to directly communicate with the Holy Spirit, is what Locke calls “nothing but a ‘Christianized’ Ouija board,” adding that it is “straight-up witchcraft.”

Calling the board game “blasphemous,” Locke warns Christians against using such things that claim to be the direct way of communicating with Jesus. It is not by boards or other outside sources that we connect with God. If you are saved, the Holy Spirit dwelling inside you allows you to have a direct line to the heavenly throne room, not some man-made game.

Locke not only warns against using these types of products, but he also says now is the time for the body of Christ to wake up and realize how much witchcraft has been infiltrated into church by using sage, doing yoga or celebrating days like Halloween. We are not supposed to take these things lightly but rather to stay completely away from them.

“This is a portal to demonism,” Locke says of the Christian Ouija board. “This is blasphemy of the Holy Ghost.”

Locke assures viewers that he will not be opening the board game, but that it will be thrown into a burn pile.

“It’s time to get bold,” Locke says. “I think it’s just ridiculous that Christians are wrapped up in stuff like this. Christians defending addictions to horror movies. Christians defending Halloween and haunted houses. And now, Christian Ouija boards? The Holy Spirit board? This is Holy Spirit blasphemy.”

While some will see this board game as an opportunity for comedic relief and others will take it seriously, it is best for Christians to stay away from such things so as not to open up the door to demonic entities and influence in their life.

Corey Russell Exposes the Antichrist Spirit: ‘It Manifested Into a Choke Hold’

What would you do if you found yourself in a physical battle against a spiritual entity?

Corey Russell experienced a physical reality of the spiritual battle for his soul. During his time in college, he was living his life completely the way he wanted to, doing anything that pleased him. Yet after one of his friends was radically transformed by God’s grace, he found himself battling with whether he should give his life to Christ. As he was about to abandon his friend’s plea, Russell found himself overwhelmed by the presence of the Lord.

Get your FREE CHARISMA NEWSLETTERS today! Stay up to date with current issues, Holy Spirit news, Christian teachings, Charisma videos & more!

“I felt a presence I had never felt before; it was the Holy Spirit,” Russell says in an interview with Isaiah Saldivar. “From the right of my body to the left, I felt the presence of God fill the van, and before I knew it, I’m shaking violently like I’m having a seizure. All I could see was a tug-of-war battle between light and darkness over my soul.”

In this harrowing moment, Russell’s friend started praying over his soul, and the spiritual war over him became incredibly evident—in particular in his battle against the Antichrist spirit.

“As soon as he bound the spirit, it manifested into a choke hold around my throat and I couldn’t breathe,” Russell says.

As the spirit pressed tighter around him, he strained to get out the name “Jesus,” as his friend encouraged him along toward the end goal.

Breaking News. Spirit-Filled Stories. Subscribe to Charisma on YouTube now!

“I just remember taking a deep breath, and with all the power inside of me screaming, ‘Jesus.’ And right when I screamed His name, the hold broke off of me, and it was like God came and breathed into my mouth,” Russell says.

This fresh wind of life poured over him in a unique and beautiful way as God prompted him to then commit his life to Christ. He loudly proclaimed his faith in Jesus right there on the sidewalk in front of his peers.

Since this powerful experience, Russell’s life has never been the same. At 20 years old, he evangelized his brother and watched as the Holy Spirit completely invaded his small town in Northwest Arkansas for the glory of God.

It’s testimonies like Russell’s that remind us we fight not against flesh and blood but against powers and principalities (Eph. 6:12). Just as Jesus gave His life for every one of us, the enemy would also like to get hold of each one of us. The spiritual battles around us are real, and at the end of the day, we will belong either to darkness or to the light.

Russell will be hosting a live Q&A session with Christians Engaged founder and Charisma House author Bunni Pounds. The event will be live tomorrow at 4 p.m. EST on Charisma Magazine’s YouTube channel and other social media platforms.

David Diga Hernandez: ‘We Want to See Victory’

The Christian life is meant to be lived from victory, abiding in the Holy Spirit. However, it’s impossible to know and discern the Holy Spirit’s voice without knowing the Word of God.

In an interview with Charisma News, David Diga Hernandez shared a powerful message about how it is only through saturating oneself in the Word of God that we can actually know if we are following the Lord’s guidance, or if we are being led by our own will and thoughts. If we truly belong to Christ, then God is already wanting to speak to us and through us.

Get your FREE CHARISMA NEWSLETTERS today! Stay up to date with current issues, Holy Spirit news, Christian teachings, Charisma videos & more!

“Hearing the voice of the Holy Spirit is not a learned skill,” Hernandez said. “It’s a sense to be sharpened.”

Without sitting still in the presence of the Lord, it is impossible to actually discern what exactly it is He wants to speak to us about.

“It’s a matter of being silent and still enough that you might hear the voice of the Holy Spirit,” Hernandez said. “The satanic speaks, the secular speaks, the flesh speaks…and then the Spirit speaks…so the key is to cause the other voices to go silent.”

How do we get the Holy Spirit to become the voice that we listen to when so many others are vying for our attention? We keep the Word of God as the main focus of our lives. We sit in the stillness and silence of God’s presence through prayer, keeping our eyes on the prize of Christ.

“Prayer is the death of the flesh. And only when we come to that place of prayer, where our eyes and our attention is focused on Jesus can we begin to see the weakening, the dwindling effect of the flesh’s influence,” Hernandez said.

The more in-depth believers go with the Word, the more we seek the Lord in prayer, the more sense victory makes from a heavenly perspective.

“The life of a believer is one of peace, not necessarily perfect existence to where you’re not dealing with any trials or tragedies or circumstances,” Hernandez said. “It’s that inner victory we’re talking about…If you are in bondage, you are not living the Christian life.”

Breaking News. Spirit-Filled Stories. Subscribe to Charisma on YouTube now!

One of the key premises of staying in the purity and holiness of the Lord is to make sure we are not mixing Scripture with other spiritual beliefs.

“We do not need to supplement the teachings of the Word of God inspired by the precious Holy Spirit with the teachings of paganism,” Hernandez said. “And when you have that mixture, that’s where you have confusion.”

Hebrews 4:12 is very clear about the authority of Scripture, reminding us that it is “alive, and active, and sharper than any two-edged.” When believers are led by the Word of God, by the power of prayer centered on the Holy Spirit and not our own selfish agendas and ways, then we have the opportunity to live in the true victory that can only be known through the person of Jesus Christ.
