In a recent video collaboration between Chris Garcia and Vlad Savchuk, the two discussed what it means to know the Holy Spirit.

One of the key things Savchuk points out is how we sometimes try to navigate life by relying on our own strength, but what we really need is the leading of the Holy Spirit.

“So many people have a calling from God, have a purpose from God, and sometimes we want to make things happen [on] our own,” says Savchuk. “But there’s a difference when the Holy Spirit opens the door. When the Holy Spirit says, ‘separate to me now.’ But the Holy Spirit doesn’t do those things until we first are tested and tried in ministering to the Lord.”

He also says that we can see the Holy Spirit all throughout Scripture, including at the very beginning of the creation story.

“We meet the Holy Spirit in the first few verses of the Bible, and the Spirit of the Lord hovered over darkness,” Savchuk continues. “We see that Jesus does everything He does through the power of the Holy Spirit. He was born by the Spirit, He was filled by the Spirit, He was led by the Spirit, He did miracles by the Spirit.”

The Holy Spirit is the One who leads and guides Christian believers in all our ways and directions.

“He is God, He is a person and He is here,” Savchuk says.

“What I find to be true is that many people want the gifts, and it’s like we expect the gifts to happen to us, but really I believe God’s way is to fall in love with the Giver and to be connected and commune with the Giver,” Garcia says. “In doing so, these other things are like a natural byproduct, a natural side-effect.”

Knowing the Holy Spirit isn’t about a transaction; instead, it’s about having a deep and abiding relationship with God.

“If we don’t have the communion of the Holy Spirit, if we don’t know the Holy Spirit, we cannot bring heaven on earth. He is the One that initiates this relationship. He wants a relationship,” Savchuk says. “He convicts us, yes, He empowers us, but He also wants to have a friendship, a fellowship with us.”

As we continue to see prophecies for the year 2024 come to pass, one of the prophetic voices who accurately predicted what this year would look like is Joseph Z.

Joseph Z accurately discussed how there would be cyberattacks that would happen in 2024, many of which we have seen so far. Earlier this year we saw major businesses like AT&T, Meta, Verizon, T-Mobile, Straight Talk, Cricket, Consumer Cellular, Boost Mobile and LinkedIn all go down. Perhaps the biggest internet upheaval came from the Microsoft outage which affected airlines, banks, media entities, hospitals railways and other businesses around the globe.

Z also predicted that there would be coastal fires that would happen both in the natural and the spiritual, signifying revival. We’ve seen revival come not only on college campuses across the nation, but on the coastlines as well. In California, we saw thousands get baptized at Pirates Cove in Newport Beach, all the way to the Florida coastline in Clearwater Beach where Jenny Weaver hosted an entire summer dedicated to people getting set free through baptism.

Z prophesied that 2024 would bring up greater discussions about aliens, as well.

“We’re going to see more of this alien narrative,” Z says. “It came out and it kind of went to the back burner, and I believe it’s going to come back with a vengeance.”

Recently, Congress wrapped up hearings about UFOs , and they continue to be a subject exploding throughout the larger culture with more believed sightings, and an uptick in strange occurrences such as monolith structures placed in unlikely locations including deserts and a dairy farm. As author L.A. Marzulli has discussed previously, these entities are not merely little green men from a movie, but rather they are fallen angels.

“These aren’t your average fallen angels,” Marzulli said to Charisma. “These are principalities…and they have a very specific agenda to deceive.”

Wynonna Judd’s daughter is in hot water after reportedly “selling her soul” to the devil.

Country music star Wynonna Judd’s daughter, Grace Pauline Kelley, reportedly stole a ministry van from Ground Zero Church in Charlottesville, Virginia, according to The Christian Post.

Pastor Kent Hart of the church told The Daily Progress that he was in his kitchen on Oct. 27 when he saw to his shock, the ministry van leaving the driveway.

“I’m talking to my daughter, and I look out the window and I see the van leaving my house,” Hart told the outlet.

Hart then chased down the vehicle and saw Kelley driving the van.

“I’m like, ‘You stole my van, get out of my van,'” Hart said. “And at this point, I see her very clearly. I saw her buzz cut and face tattoo.”

Hart said that Kelley drove around his car, but officer Corey Legg initiated a traffic stop, which caught Kelley and the van. In Legg’s report, Kelley supposedly said that a man had left the driver’s seat of the car and then ran into the woods. However, after looking at his dashcam footage, only Kelley was seen in the van.

“She began stating she had sold her soul to the devil,” officer Legg wrote in his notes.

Kelley was taken to the University of Virginia Medical Center to see if she had anything in her body, testing positive for heroin.

When it comes to the prophetic, false prophets tend to make the top of the list for what Christians tend to watch out against. In a recent message, bishop Alan DiDio explained what the body of Christ needs to understand about false prophecy, the use of Scripture and how we are to carefully look after the spirit of prophecy.

“With the flurry of prophetic words, one can become disillusioned when they see things not come to pass, when they see someone prophesying out of their flesh,” DiDio says. “So, how do we navigate these troubled waters especially when the Bible says in the last days there will come a group of people with itching ears?”

DiDio points out that there are people who desperately want to hear anything from the prophetic ministry, just desiring to have their ears scratched with a word.

“There are certain people that are more susceptible to others to prophetic error,” says DiDio.

DiDio also makes the point that just as detrimental as false prophets are to the body of Christ, so are false accusers.

“The only thing as bad as a false prophet, is a false accuser,” he says. “Did you know that in the Word of God there is just as much condemnation for those who stoned the prophets? There is just as much condemnation for gossip and for lying and for backbiting and talebearing and those who sow strife within the body of Christ as there is against those who prophesy falsely.”

DiDio further explains that today we see two extreme camps in Christianity: Those who are super spiritual, and those who are super scriptural.

“The hyper-spiritual saint is so open to error and false doctrine that they’re in danger of hellfire, and the hyper-theological or scriptural saint is so bound by legalism they’re in danger of no fire whatsoever,” DiDio explains.

“The spiritually goofy are worried about quenching the spirit and so will place anyone who says they’re a prophet on the same level with Paul while the theological prudes of our day are so worried about error that they’ll stop the work of Christ and say that there are no prophets today,” he continues.

However, as DiDio points out, neither one of those approaches are biblical. He points to 1 Thessalonians 5:20, which says, “Do not despise prophecies.” As DiDio points out, this message came at at time when the Thessalonians were struggling with false prophecy. Understanding prophecy, therefore, is something people have been trying to distinguish and grasp a feel for centuries.

“The church is ill-equipped to come against this level of warfare in this hour,” Souza says. “Jesus talked about it. In Luke 10, He said that we’ve been given authority to trample on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy and nothing shall in any wise harm us.”

She points out that when Jesus says this, He doesn’t just mean that we will have the power and the authority to overcome snakes in the physical realm, but in the spiritual as well.

“They are attached to people’s bank accounts, their money, their family, their marriage—they’re breaking up marriages—they’re causing your body to be sick, they’re causing your business to split apart, they’re causing strife and division in the church,” Souza says.

She points out that snakes tend to be camouflaged, which means we tend to miss when these deadly spirits come around to strike at us.

“They hide themselves on people’s bodies, in their lives without us being able to see them,” Souza says. “That’s why we have to stay in the fiery presence of God.”

Souza has even seen the power of God remove serpent spirits from her own life that were trying to attack her body.

“I had an indentation in my breast about the depth of the tip of my pinky finger,” Souza says. “Finally, I had a vision of a serpent up on its tail with this triangular jaw, which means they’re venomous, striking at me. I said, ‘What’s that, Lord?’ And He goes, ‘That’s the snake that’s trying to give you breast cancer.'”

What did Souza do with this revelation from the Lord?

“I prophetically did an act where I pulled that snake off of that area of my body and cast it into the abyss, the fiery abyss, and then the Lord says, ‘Now take communion for the next three days and command the venom to come out of your body.'”

Souza did what the Holy Spirit asked her to do. She says she was in excruciating pain, but after three days the indentation was fully grown in again.

“The pain I was feeling was the regeneration of the breast tissue being healed and regenerated from that cancer, the venom that the enemy was pumping into my breast,” Souza says.

The world has been on edge as South Korea’s president, Yoon Suk Yeol, declared martial law to rid of “anti-state” forces, criticizing his opposing party for being partial to North Korea. Parliament later voted unanimously to lift the marital law. However, the panic this has caused gives great precedence to call the body of believers to prayer and to take seriously a prophetic dream warning from Chris Reed.

On Nov. 26, 2024, Chris Reed had a prophetic dream about North Korea and the United State’s response to the highly restricted nation.

“I had a dream early this morning on 11-26-24 that the U.S. president ordered precision military strikes against North Korea in response to their actions, including involvement with Russia and China’s actions involved with the Ukraine,” Reed says.

If South Korea is truly worried about interference from North Korea, then perhaps we should heed this as a warning and a call to prayer.

“I believe we must pray against this to stop acceleration of a global war in the world,” the prophecy concludes.

“I’m asking you to join with me and pray against that,” says Reed. “We’ve got to pray against this because we don’t want to see an acceleration of a global war in the world.”

Do you believe in the supernatural realm?

In a recent interview with Michael Knowles, Blake Healy shared his story of what it’s like to be a seer in the spirit where his daily life includes seeing both angels and demons.

Starting at a young age, Healy started to see in the spiritual realm, both the good and the bad.

“I was two years old,” Healy says. “I was sitting in the backseat of our minivan…I remember sitting back there and looking up seeing just about a half dozen of these baseball size lights just kind of drifting back and forth in time.”

This first encounter with the supernatural brought Healy peace even though he didn’t know what he was seeing at the time. However, his next time seeing in the spirit was quite different. Hearing what was likely an argument between his parents, Healy says he saw something demonic during their conversation.

“My second memory is seeing a demon,” he says. “I saw this face just kind of morph out of the ceiling. It was long, and it was pale, and it had these sharp pointed teeth. As I looked at it, it kind of pulled away from the ceiling and drifted towards me, which I definitely didn’t appreciate very much. I did the only spiritual warfare tactic I knew at the time, which was to jump into my parents’ bed and pull the covers over my head.”

During his childhood, Healy says he and his parents didn’t realize he was seeing things outside of the ordinary. However, around the age of nine Healy says he began to realize that the things he saw were not part of the status quo. He was seeing both angels and demons, but soon found himself entering a time frame where he was seeing intense demonic imagery nightly, a type of warfare attack.

“I would see hands coming up out from under my bed and kind of pawing around like they were looking for something to scratch or pinch,” Healy says.

After his family started going to a church that taught more about gifts of the Spirit, prophecy and seeing in the spiritual realm, Healy started to see that perhaps what he had was a gift that he needed to learn how to steward. Once he spoke to church leaders and his parents about his experiences, the nightly attacks ceased.

Since then, Healy has spent years growing in his gift. One of the special things he can see in the spirit is what he calls “personal angels.” He says each person he encounters has their own angelic host that accompanies them along life’s journey. Another incredible thing that Healy has been granted to see includes what happened in the spirit the moment a teenage girl decided to give her life to Christ.

“For the very first time in my life I saw Jesus standing there,” says Healy. “He was in the space between the stage and the chairs, and He was just pacing back and forth in that space. And he was pacing in such a way that His gaze was remaining fixed at a point somewhere at the back of the room.”

Healy says he saw the girl that Jesus was looking at who was resting on a divider between the stadium seating and the other chairs.

“I heard a voice in the back of my mind say, ‘He sees no one but her,'” Healy recounts.

In a recent Demon Slayer podcast with Isaiah Saldivar, Mike Signorelli, Vlad Savchuk and Alexander Pagani, one of the topics the group discussed was alcohol consumption and the Christian believer.

Answering the question of whether or not Christians should consume alcohol, the group provided biblical keys about why followers of Jesus should be wary of it.

“No, I don’t drink, and the reason why I don’t drink: One, God delivered me from it. I used to drink almost every single day, and by the grace of God I was delivered the night that I was born again,” Saldivar says.

Saldivar also points out how Proverbs warns us that wine is like a viper’s poison.

“If you wouldn’t want a snake to bite you, then you probably should not be drinking…over and over the Bible tells us ‘Don’t be full of alcohol; be full of the Holy Spirit,'” he continues.

Mike Signorelli also brings up great, practical questions for Christians to ponder on as to whether or not they should avoid consuming alcohol.

“Is there a genetic predisposition for alcoholism in either your mother or father’s side?” Signorelli asks.

Signorelli points out that more research is showing alcohol to be dangerous for the body.

“My second question would be: Do you believe science?” Signorelli asks. “Number three…do you feel convicted by the Holy Spirit when you do it?”

Savchuk says that alcohol doesn’t measure up in the ways it promises to do so.

“If He delivers us from evil, He doesn’t lead us into evil,” says Savchuk.

Savchuk points out that alcohol affects your brain’s functioning, which is the core spot of communication for the body.

“It interferes with God’s purpose to have fellowship with Him,” he continues. “The Bible also says I’m expected to have a sober mind. How can I have a sober mind if my body is not sober?”

After a recent health scare that resulted in him being rushed to the hospital, Bishop T.D. Jakes has been in the prayers of many. Here are three updates you need to know concerning Jakes.

1. Jakes revealed that he had an emergency surgery.

In a virtual message to The Potter’s House family that has since been placed on Jakes’ Instagram, he recounts how he went through the surgery, calling his life a ‘miracle.’

“I am grateful to God for His goodness and His mercy and His grace. Many of you don’t realize that you’re looking at a miracle,” says Jakes.

Jakes says he “faced a life-threatening calamity.”

“[I] was rushed to the ICU unit. I had emergency surgery. Survived the surgery…I’m back.”

Jakes expressed his heartfelt gratitude for the local and global community that follows The Potter’s House. He also gave a warning to the community of how important it is that they take care of themselves even as they are busy caring for others. He says that he recently had a physical and was found to be healthy, noting that sometimes things simply happen, while at other times we experience spiritual battles.

“What I do know is greater is He that is in us than he that’s in the world,” says Jakes.

Jakes says he felt as though he was being “cradled” throughout the experience.

He claims he felt emotional the day he was released from the hospital, knowing the grace and faithfulness of God.

“I felt the sun hit my face at the same time a person down the hallway was being taken to the morgue.”

2. Jakes says he did not suffer from a stroke, but that the results would’ve been fatal without the intervention of God.

In a prior update to the world, Jakes expressed his gratitude to God, thanking Him for His protection.

“I give thanks unto the Lord that I did not have a stroke,” Jakes wrote on X. “However, the event could’ve been fatal if it weren’t for God’s intervention. A special thank you to God and the medical professionals in our city whose speed and expertise were beyond exceptional.”

My job is to recuperate and reflect on God’s protection. I owe it to my amazing family and church members to rest and ruminate as He restores me towards His service. As God calls us to honor the Sabbath, I’m reminded that rest is not a weakness – it is a divine gift.

Serving God’s people is an extraordinary privilege, and Sunday was no exception as I gave my all in delivering the message God placed on my heart. 3. Jakes’ health scare comes at time when he filed a defamation lawsuit against Duane Youngblood.

According to The Christian Post, Jakes filed the defamation suit against Youngblood, a “former-pastor-turned-registered sex offender.”

Jakes filed the suit after Youngblood alleged that Jakes tried to “groom and sexually abuse him” during a Oct. 28, 2024 interview on Larry Reid Live.

The 20-page lawsuit states, “The interview later turned to Youngblood’s new claim about how the source of his becoming an abuser was his own ‘abuse’ at the hands of pastors and religious figures he encountered in his youth. After detailing instances of his own father sexually abusing his sister and of the abuse at the hands of other church leaders, Youngblood turned his ire on Bishop Jakes.”

The lawsuit claims that the over two-hour long interview started focusing on Jakes around the one-hour mark, to which the majority of the remaining time was spent discussing Jakes.

“Youngblood’s story about Bishop Jakes on the Oct. 28 episode of LRL was that when the now 58-year-old Youngblood was ’18 or 19 years of age,’ Bishop Jakes, after talking to Youngblood for two hours at the home of an elderly clergy woman where Bishop Jakes was staying while supporting a local church’s revival program, wrapped his arms around Youngblood and tried to kiss him…” the lawsuit read.

The suit further describes how Youngblood returned to the Larry Reid Live for a part two on Nov. 3, 2024 to speak more about Jakes.

“From start to finish, Youngblood’s tale of grooming and attempted sexual assault at the hands of Bishop Jakes is patently false. Bishop Jakes never kissed or tried to kiss Youngblood, never cornered him or forced him into any situation (sexual or otherwise),” the suit continued. “The interactions described by Youngblood during his LRL interviews on Oct. 28 and Nov. 3 never happened-period.”

“What we’re going to have is a spiritual wave that’s going to keep growing until it becomes a political wave,” he says. “And it’s going to keep growing until it becomes a social reform.”

Davids believed in 2024 a shift would happen where the days of playing church would be over, and the time of revival would come.

“A lot of voices are going to be emerging, and a lot of voices are going to be crumbling,” Davids began. “…And the Spirit of the Lord says, ‘Watch out for the campuses because My Spirit and My anointing is going to break out on different university campuses across the United States.’”
