Holy Week Hijacked: Communist Regime Targets Christians

For the second year in a row, Cuban authorities have blocked Christians from celebrating a key Holy Week tradition. The Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish in Havana was denied permission to hold its Palm Sunday procession, a public act of faith that marks the beginning of Holy Week in the Christian calendar.

Father Lester Rafael Zayas Díaz, the parish priest in the Vedado district of Havana, informed the congregation that the government did not authorize the Solemn Stations of the Cross procession. “We hereby inform that the Solemn Stations of the Cross announced and prepared by the Vicariate for tomorrow Palm Sunday at 6:00 p.m. from Linea to Lateran has been suspended because the authorities have not approved it,” Díaz stated.

This marks a troubling continuation of restrictions on Christian worship in Cuba. In 2023 and again in 2024, the government blocked the same Palm Sunday procession from taking place. While private worship remains technically legal, public expressions of faith are subject to strict regulation and are often curtailed by the communist regime.

Díaz spoke out in 2024, claiming the government wrongfully denied members of faith from celebrating Holy Week. “To deny it as a punishment to a parish priest is, besides absurd, a violation of religious freedom. The parish priest is only the spokesman of the people’s desire. He is the one who requests it to the competent authority, but it is not his personal desire,” Díaz asserted in 2024.

The Cuban constitution theoretically guarantees freedom of religion. However, in practice, the government retains tight control over religious gatherings, especially those that involve public demonstrations or marches. Church leaders and Christian activists have repeatedly voiced concerns that these policies are being used to suppress religious influence in public life.

Cuba’s communist government has a long history of controlling and limiting religious expression. Though relations between the state and the church have improved slightly since the 1990s, many Christian communities—particularly those seen as politically independent—continue to face obstacles. These include denial of building permits, surveillance and censorship.

Religious freedom watchdogs have cited Cuba as one of the countries where believers often face subtle but persistent persecution. Christian leaders in the country have warned that the restrictions on public processions, especially during Holy Week, are not isolated incidents but part of a broader campaign to limit faith-based influence in Cuban society.

The cancellation of the Palm Sunday event is another signal that the Cuban government remains unwilling to allow full religious liberty. With Holy Week central to the Christian faith, preventing its public observance is a clear affront to religious freedom and a reminder of the enduring challenges believers face under authoritarian rule.

Jesus’ Most Explosive Rebuke —You Won’t Believe What He Said Next!

Note: This is part-two of Charisma’s Holy Week series.

By the fourth day of Holy Week, the tension in Jerusalem was palpable. While many still whispered in wonder at the miracles of Jesus, the religious leaders seethed in secret. The triumphal entry and temple cleansing had pushed the boundaries of what they would tolerate. Now, Jesus turned His attention toward those who bore the greatest responsibility for Israel’s spiritual condition—the scribes and Pharisees.

That morning, Jesus returned to the temple courts and began teaching. The crowds gathered around Him, hanging on His every word. He spoke in parables that exposed the hearts of the religious elite—stories like the wicked tenants, the two sons and the wedding feast. Each parable subtly yet unmistakably revealed how those entrusted with God’s vineyard had failed, and how God would give the kingdom to others who would bear fruit (see Matthew 21–22).

But then Jesus shifted from parables to direct confrontation. What followed was one of the most sobering discourses in the Gospels. Known as the “Seven Woes,” Jesus publicly condemned the hypocrisy of the religious leaders in a series of scathing pronouncements:

“Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you shut up the kingdom of heaven against men; for you neither go in yourselves, nor do you allow those who are entering to go in.” (Matt. 23:13)

“Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you devour widows’ houses, and for a pretense make long prayers. Therefore you will receive greater condemnation.” (v. 14)

“Woe to you… blind guides… who strain out a gnat and swallow a camel!” (vv. 16, 24)

He didn’t accuse them of ignorance—but of willful blindness. They meticulously observed external rituals while neglecting justice, mercy, and faith. Their lives were polished on the outside, yet filled with spiritual decay. Jesus likened them to whitewashed tombs—beautiful to behold but full of death within (v. 27).

This wasn’t anger for anger’s sake—it was the voice of a righteous Judge calling out corruption, but also the lament of a brokenhearted Shepherd. As Jesus concluded His rebuke, He looked over Jerusalem and cried:

“O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing!” (v. 37)

His tone was both prophetic and pastoral. He mourned the city that had rejected her Messiah and predicted the desolation that would follow.

This day marked a turning point. Jesus’ public teaching ministry came to a close with this sobering indictment. The religious leaders’ opposition now turned into plotting. They would stop at nothing to arrest and destroy Him. Meanwhile, Jesus withdrew from the temple, never to teach there again. The sun was beginning to set—not just on the day, but on an entire era. The cross was drawing near.

How Did Jesus Endure the Agony of the Cross?

When The Passion of the Christ was released 21 years ago, Hollywood critics mocked it because it offered a realistic depiction of Jesus’ torture and death. I know people who couldn’t watch the movie because it offered such an accurate portrayal of a brutal Roman execution.

Actor Jim Caviezel, who played Jesus in that film, was only pretending to feel pain when he was flogged and nailed to a cross. But the unimaginable agony Jesus endured at Calvary was real.

Nobody performed an autopsy on Jesus’ mangled body after He was taken down from the cross. But doctors who have studied the Bible’s description of His death say the pain would have been beyond excruciating. In fact, the word “excruciating” means “out of the cross.”

After His arrest, Jesus was flogged so mercilessly that His skin was stripped off His back, exposing muscle and bone. After being slapped, punched, crowned with thorns and beaten with reeds, He was covered with a red robe and led to Golgotha. There, soldiers drove nails (more like seven-inch spikes) into His wrists—most likely hitting the median nerve, causing more blinding pain. They nailed another long metal spike into His feet.

At that point, Jesus would have suffered dislocation of His shoulders, cramps and spasms, dehydration from severe blood loss, fluid in His lungs and eventual lung collapse and heart failure. Yet, according to Matthew 27:34, Jesus refused to take a pain-killing solution. He endured the pain for us.

How did Jesus handle this pain? Many scholars say He recited Psalm 22 throughout His ordeal. These words, which are quoted more often in the New Testament than any other Old Testament passage, describe in detail the death of the Messiah. In the Gospels, we read that Jesus quoted this psalm while He hung on the cross.

He had most likely memorized Psalm 22 since He was a boy in the synagogue in Nazareth. I encourage you to meditate on this psalm this week as we remember the crucifixion.

Matthew 27:46 says Jesus quoted Psalm 22:1 from the cross: “My God, My God, why have you forsaken me?” Any Jew who heard this would have known He was quoting David’s psalm. It’s possible that He muttered the whole psalm under His breath.

Verse 6 says: “But I am a worm and not a man; a reproach of men, and despised by the people.” Imagine Jesus reciting these words as a crowd of angry mockers insulted Him as they gathered near the cross.

Verse 14 says: “I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint; my heart is like wax; it is melted inside my body.” Some victims of Roman crucifixion took as long as nine days to die, but Jesus’ death came in a matter of hours—probably because He had been flogged so cruelly before He was nailed to the rough wood. As He recited Psalm 22, He knew that David’s prophetic words were about Him.

Verse 15a says: “My strength is dried up like a potsherd, and my tongue cleaves to my jaws.” Victims of crucifixion typically developed serious dehydration because of a lack of blood and oxygen. Jesus felt the thirst that David wrote about.

Verse 16b-18 says: “They pierced my hands and my feet. I can count all my bones. They look, they stare at me; they divide my garments among them, and for my clothing they cast lots.” Jesus’ tormentors stripped Him of His clothes, and He bore our shame. John’s Gospel tells us that soldiers gambled for his tunic.

Psalm 22 doesn’t just predict the pain Jesus experienced. It ends in victory. Verse 22 says:
“I will tell of Your Name to my brethren; in the midst of the assembly I will praise You.” Even as Jesus hung in pitiful agony, there was a great expectation of triumph. He praised the Father as He thought of His coming Resurrection.

The last verse of Psalm 22 says: “They will come and will declare His righteousness to a people who will be born, that He has performed it.” The original Hebrew in the last phrase (“He has performed it”) can be translated, “It is finished.” This is exactly what Jesus declared in John 19:30 as He breathed His last! He finished reciting the Psalm before He gave up His spirit.

David’s prophetic psalm helped prepare Jesus for His agonizing death. He knew He was the promised Messiah. He knew His destiny was to pour out His blood to atone for the sins of the world. He was willing to endure the pain because of the great joy set before Him.

John Bevere: Will the Church Face God’s Wrath?

In a recent episode of his podcast, John Bevere sat down with his son Arden to tackle one of the most pressing questions in eschatology: Will the church go through the wrath of God during the day of the Lord?

“This is the first time publicly I have ever said this—that I believe the church is going to be taken away prior to the seven-year tribulation,” Bevere declared.

Breaking NewsSpirit-Filled Stories. Subscribe to Charisma on YouTube now!

The father-son duo dove deep into 2 Peter and 1 Thessalonians, unpacking what Scripture says about the Second Coming, the day of the Lord and the difference between tribulation and wrath. “The day of the Lord is actually the day of His wrath,” Bevere said, citing Isaiah 13 and Revelation 6. “Now the question becomes—where are we, the faithful followers of Jesus, going to be during the time of His wrath?”

The Purpose of the Rapture

Bevere emphasized the importance of 1 Thessalonians 1:10: “And to wait for His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead—Jesus, who delivers us from the wrath to come.”

And again in 1 Thessalonians 5:9, Paul writes: “For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.”

According to Bevere, that’s not something to fear—it’s something to celebrate. “We’re going to meet the Lord in the air,” he said. “Comfort one another with these words. It doesn’t say torment one another with these words.”

He also broke down the Greek word “harpazo,” translated as “caught up” in 1 Thessalonians 4:17. “It means to grab or seize by force with the purpose of removing,” he explained. “This Greek word is found 14 times in the New Testament.”

Three Signs That Will Precede Christ’s Return

Throughout the conversation, Bevere noted that the Bible gives us several key signs that point to the Lord’s return. “We started talking about the things that would lead up to the return of Jesus,” he said.

Here are the three Bevere listed:

  1. “The apostasy” – a great falling away from the faith.
  2. “The latter rain” – a powerful outpouring of the Holy Spirit.
  3. “The Elijah anointing” – a move of God that calls the prodigals back: “Calling those people—the millions that have walked away in the apostasy—back to the Lord.”

Bevere added, “God loves people so very much, He’s going to give them every chance to come back.”

A Call to Be Ready

More than pinpointing dates or arguing timelines, Bevere urged believers to focus on readiness. “The more I study, the more I realize how much I don’t know,” he admitted. “I am so crying out to the Holy Spirit.”

He pointed to 1 John 2:28 as the key: “Abide in Him, that when He appears, we may have confidence and not be ashamed before Him at His coming.”

Whether you’re pre-trib, mid-trib, or post-trib, Bevere was clear about one thing: this conversation shouldn’t divide the Church. “If somebody’s listening to us right now and they say, ‘No, I believe that the saints are going to be taken at the end of the seven-year’—you’re my brother and sister in Christ,” he said. “And there is no way I’m dividing over this with you.”

‘There is no Greater Partnership Than Israel & Believing Christians,’ PM Netanyahu Tells Trump’s Faith Advisor

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu talked about the role of Israel in the end times, the friendship between the U.S. and Israel, and the critical role of Evangelical Christians in the alliance between the nations, in a wide-ranging interview with Paula White, the Senior Advisor to the White House Faith Office.

The interview was recorded during his visit to Washington, D.C. and published on the YouTube channel of the Christian Daystar Television Network this week.

White began by noting that “The Christian vision of the end of days foretells of some profound transformation and redemption,” asking the premier whether he saw signs of this vision being realized in current events.

“That vision of the return of the dispersed people to the Holy Land, the reconstitution of Jewish sovereignty in our ancient land … That’s a miracle. I think this is a string of miracles by itself. You can explain it in various ways, but I think there is something that defies, you know, it sort of defies the laws of history because according to the laws of history, if you’re gone, you’re gone,” Netanyahu said.

In addition, he listed U.S. President Donald Trump’s moves to recognize Israeli sovereignty over the Golan Heights, the transfer of the embassy to Jerusalem, and the mediation of the Abraham Accords as near-miraculous events in the Jewish people’s “historic mission.”

“And I know that we have, in this effort, the support of our Christian friends around the world. You know, we’ve not had greater friends,” Netanyahu emphasized.

At another point in the interview, the premier reiterated: “There is no greater partnership than the State of Israel and the believing Christians around the world.”

Netanyahu also argued that Trump is already working to further strengthen the bond with Israel with several significant moves he made in the first days of his presidency.

Israel is fighting “our common enemies, the enemies of America,” Netanyahu said, “They call America the great Satan. They call us the small Satan.”

Despite this fact, Netanyahu said the Biden administration had imposed an arms embargo on Israel. “One of the first things President Trump did, was knock out that embargo, restore the weapons and ammunition shipped into Israel, which is so needed.”

/**/

“Second thing he did was he removed these sanctions that were put on Jewish residents of Judea, Samaria, the heart of our historical homeland,” Netanyahu continued. “The third thing he did was issue these forceful orders for measures against anti-Semitism, which is really anti-Americanism, anti-Israel, on America’s campuses and elsewhere.”

Finally, Netanyahu said Trump “rescinded this thing that was protecting the ICC, the so-called International Criminal Court, which itself became criminal, and is targeting American soldiers and Israeli soldiers, me, and potentially any leader of America.”

The Israeli leader also called on Christians to engage with Israel more, and more deeply, especially by traveling to Israel to “understand how the Bible is really being played out in real time on this piece of earth that is so critical to our common civilization.”

“One thing I heard of recently, and this is spreading to the Christian friends of Israel and America, is (the accusation) that Israel is persecuting Christians in Israel. My God how can people believe these lies? The only place in the Middle East where the Christians are fully safe not [just] to engage in their faith, but well beyond that, to flourish, to thrive, is in Israel,” he stressed.

Despite false news and reports of declining support for Israel among Christians, Netanyahu offered a vision of hope not just for the relations between the U.S. and Israel but for Christianity and traditional values in America.

Recounting the example of Israel’s young generation, which heroically rose to the task of fighting a war, contrary to the expectation of some, Netanyahu emphasized that such trends can be reversed.

“People here say the next generation of Christians are waning in their support for Israel… Who says that’s got to continue? I think there’s a change happening right now,” the prime minister said.

“People seek spiritual content for their lives, and many are coming back to religion, and when they do, and when they look for the sources, the wellsprings of our civilization, our societies, they’ll come back to the roots.”

“And the roots came from that land that you visit, that piece of land at the edge of Asia, the edge of the Mediterranean is where it all started.”

Netanyahu added that every time he speaks to the U.S. Congress, “I stand on that podium and I look at that hall… Smack looking at me is the tablet that says Moses, the lawgiver, and actually has a quote from the Bible.”

“They spoke about a city on a hill, the founding fathers of America. That city was Jerusalem. America was founded as the new Jerusalem, connected to the original Jerusalem. And that’s a partnership that I think is not going to disappear. I think we may be at a cusp, at a turning point, where that enthusiasm, in fact, is re-energized. And I think it’s going to happen.”

10 Signs God Is Moving You Into a New Season

We’ve all heard it before: “I feel like I’m stepping into a new season.” But how do you really know when God is shifting things in your life?

Pastor Vlad Savchuk of HungryGen Ministries recently shared a powerful message on this very topic, reminding believers that life isn’t static—it moves in seasons. “The Bible does talk about life being broken into seasons,” Savchuk said. “Sometimes there are seasons of struggle, then there’s seasons of victory. Sometimes there are seasons of lack and there are seasons where we see God’s provision.”

So how can you tell if you’re stepping into something new? Pastor Vlad outlines 10 biblical signs that reveal a divine shift is happening:

1. A Shift in Desires and Priorities

“When God transitions you into a new season, your passions, priorities and interests often change,” Savchuk said. He referenced Philippians 2:13, adding, “It is God who works in you both to will and to do His good pleasure.”

2. Doors Closing and New Ones Opening

Savchuk encouraged believers to watch for changing opportunities: “Old opportunities fade, and new doors that align with God’s will for your life begin to open.” He quoted Revelation 3:8: “See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it.”

3. Unusual Opposition

“A new season often attracts increased spiritual warfare,” he warned. Quoting 1 Corinthians 16:9, Savchuk said, “A great and effective door has been opened to me… and there are many adversaries.”

4. Discomfort or Restlessness

Savchuk shared, “You have dwelt long enough at this mountain. Turn and take your journey.” (Deut. 1:6-7). When God is stirring you, the old season becomes uncomfortable.

5. Relationships Begin to Shift

“Some people exit because that relationship has kind of ran its course,” he explained. Referencing Ruth, Savchuk noted how her decision to follow Naomi marked her new season: “Where you go, I will go… your God, my God.”

6. New Responsibilities Are Given

“You got to understand, your faithfulness in small things will bring about God’s reward. And you know what that reward is? More responsibility,” said Savchuk. He highlighted Luke 16:10: “He who is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much.”

7. A Renewed Hunger for God

“A fresh season is marked by a deeper craving for God’s presence and His Word,” Savchuk said. “As the deer pants for the water brooks, so pants my soul for You, O God.” (Ps. 42:1)

8. God’s Peace Despite Uncertainty@

Savchuk encouraged believers not to fear unclear circumstances: “The peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” (Phil. 4:7) “God’s peace becomes your guard, becomes your protection,” he added.

9. A Change in Financial Supply

“You have to understand, a season changes God’s supply,” he said. “God is still the source… but the way God supplies changes.” Whether a job ends or a new idea emerges, Savchuk pointed to Philippians 4:19: “God will supply all of your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”

10. A Call to Step Out in Faith

“A new season requires courage to move forward without full clarity,” he said. Quoting Hebrews 11:8, Savchuk reminded, “By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go… not knowing where he was going.”

As a final encouragement, Pastor Vlad added, “Your seasons may change, but make sure your commitment to God is the same.” He explained that while seasonal transitions may come with stress, “God is not going to remove the stress, but He will increase your strength to meet the demands placed on you in that season.”

And when your scenery changes? “Dress accordingly,” Savchuk advised. “It’s kind of foolish to go barefoot in the snow, and it’s also not wise to walk around with a fur coat in the hot, scorching summer.”

God’s presence doesn’t change—but how we walk with Him in each season might. Be sensitive to His leading and step forward in faith.

Prophecy in Action? Trump Fires Big Bird?!

Is the prophetic dismantling by the Trump administration still in action?

Right now, the White House is seeking to rid $9.3 billion in federal spending that includes funding for the government-backed outlets NPR and PBS.

As American Faith noted, Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency, plans to eliminate the spending as “The administration argues that taxpayer subsidies for media outlets with perceived ideological bias are outdated and unnecessary in the digital age.”

Breaking NewsSpirit-Filled Stories. Subscribe to Charisma on YouTube now!

This couldn’t be any more true. With the ongoing decline of legacy media, and the uncovering of bizarre Leftist ideologies, funding for programs that are known for indoctrination should not take precedence in the public square.

/**/

This comes right as Trump froze billions of dollars for Harvard University due to their negligence to fight antisemitism. With the recent decision to dismantle the Department of Education, Trump is not playing around when it comes to the saving of taxpayer dollars from wasteful spending.

Perhaps there is more to this from a spiritual perspective?

The Bible speaks of God dismantling corrupt systems as part of His redemptive process. In the Old Testament, prophets like Jeremiah and Isaiah frequently called for the destruction of corrupt systems and leaders who had led Israel astray, with the ultimate purpose of restoration.

For example, in Jeremiah 1:10, God commissions Jeremiah to “root out and pull down, to destroy and to throw down, to build and to plant.” This process of dismantling prepares the ground for something better—restoration under God’s guidance.

The concept of dismantling in the Trump administration, such as cutting wasteful spending and challenging ideologically biased institutions, can be seen as part of the larger biblical narrative in the breaking down of ungodly structures to prepare for a more righteous rebuilding.

The dismantling of systems in America could be a prophetic call for national repentance and realignment with God’s purposes, leading to restoration that honors Him and brings healing to the land.

Shocking Revelations from Holy Week: The Arrival, the Fiery Anger and the Miraculous Fig Tree!

What if you could witness the most pivotal week in human history as it unfolded?

What if you stood in the dusty streets of Jerusalem, heard the roar of the crowd shouting “Hosanna” and later the chilling cries of “Crucify Him”? What if you could watch from a distance as the Son of God entered His final days—teaching, confronting, weeping and ultimately laying down His life for the sins of the world?

In this six-part series, we walk through the events of Holy Week, day by day, with fresh eyes and reverent awe. Based solely on the biblical record, each post offers a front-row seat to the passion, power, and purpose of Jesus’ final week before the resurrection.

Day 1: Hosanna in the Highest

As the week leading to Passover began, Jerusalem swelled with thousands of pilgrims from all over Israel and beyond. The city buzzed with expectation and spiritual energy. Amid the crowd, word began to spread rapidly—Jesus of Nazareth was approaching. This was the teacher and miracle-worker many had come to believe was the Messiah. Yet His arrival defied common messianic expectations. Instead of a warhorse and a military procession, Jesus rode into the city on a young donkey, a deliberate fulfillment of Zechariah’s ancient prophecy: “Behold, your King comes to you; He is just and having salvation, lowly and riding on a donkey” (Zech. 9:9).

As He entered Jerusalem, people threw their cloaks on the road and waved palm branches—symbols of victory and deliverance. Their voices filled the air with cries of “Hosanna! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord! The King of Israel!” (John 12:13). These words, drawn from Psalm 118, were more than praise—they were a messianic declaration.

While the crowd celebrated, Jesus wept over the city. Luke records that as He approached, He said, “If you had known, even you, especially in this your day, the things that make for your peace! But now they are hidden from your eyes” (Luke 19:42). Though the people recognized Him as a king, they did not fully understand the nature of His kingdom. Jesus came not to overthrow Rome, but to conquer sin and death. The triumphal entry marked the beginning of a week that would change the course of human history.

Day 2: Den of Thieves

The following day, Jesus returned to Jerusalem and made His way into the temple courts. What He found there was deeply disturbing. Instead of a place of reverent prayer and sacred worship, the temple had become a center of commerce. Merchants sold animals for sacrifice at inflated prices. Money changers exchanged currency for profit. The outer courts—the only place Gentiles could come to pray—had been overtaken by greed.

With righteous indignation, Jesus overturned the tables of the money changers and the benches of those selling doves. Coins scattered across the stone floor. Chaos erupted. Yet Jesus’ voice rang clear above the clamor: “It is written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer,’ but you have made it a ‘den of thieves’” (Matt. 21:13).

His actions were not just about cleaning up corruption—they were a prophetic judgment on the entire religious system that had become hollow and hypocritical. The chief priests and scribes, already threatened by His influence, became more determined than ever to silence Him.

Day 3: Curse of the Fig Tree

On the morning of the third day, Jesus and His disciples once again journeyed from Bethany toward Jerusalem. Along the way, Jesus approached a fig tree. From a distance, it appeared healthy and full of leaves—an indication that it might bear fruit, even if the season had not fully arrived. But upon closer inspection, it was barren. In response, Jesus said, “Let no one ever eat fruit from you again” (Mark 11:14). The disciples listened but didn’t yet grasp the significance.

When they passed by the tree the following morning, it had withered from the roots. Astonished, Peter exclaimed, “Rabbi, look! The fig tree You cursed has withered away” (Mark 11:21). Jesus used the moment to teach them about faith, saying, “If you have faith and do not doubt…whatever you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive” (Matt. 21:21–22).

The fig tree symbolized more than agriculture—it was a living parable. Outwardly, the nation appeared religious, but inwardly it bore no fruit. The curse on the fig tree was a sobering image of judgment for spiritual hypocrisy.

Through the fig tree and His confrontations in Jerusalem, Jesus exposed the emptiness of ritual without righteousness. He was preparing His disciples—and the world—for the new covenant that was about to be established through His own death and Resurrection.

Letting God Lead: Prayer Is the Anchor of a Spirit-Led Life

In a recent livestream, Christian content creator Dayne Kamela invited his audience to pause during Holy Week and reflect on what it truly means to let the Lord lead every part of life. His message wasn’t complex or packed with religious jargon—it was honest, heartfelt and anchored in one powerful tool: prayer.

Kamela’s prayer wasn’t just a formality—it was a declaration. “Lord, You’re worthy of being praised and we thank You for the opportunity to sit and gather… even if it’s over social media,” he said. “We can use social media to magnify Your goodness and the reality of who You are.”

But it wasn’t just about community. Kamela drew the focus in closer, praying over each viewer directly: “Each person with me right now has a testimony of You and what You’ve done in their life, Lord. And I pray that they continue to share that testimony… because Your Word says, ‘We’re overcome by the blood of the lamb and the word of our testimony.’”

Breaking NewsSpirit-Filled Stories. Subscribe to Charisma on YouTube now!

He made it personal. “When we have a relationship with You… it makes life so much better. We face persecution, we face difficulties… but it is You who helps sustain us, Lord. You are our sustainer.”

Kamela spoke to the heart of the struggle so many believers face—the temptation to compartmentalize God. “Sometimes in our lives as believers, there are areas in our lives that we actually don’t invite the Lord into,” he admitted. “Because we maybe struggle in that area… or we’re trying to do everything ourselves.”

He gave a practical example from his own journey: “My finances was actually one of the areas I invited him into first and it made such a difference… that was the first thing for me.”

But above all, Kamela came back again and again to the necessity of prayer. “Prayer just transforms my mind. Prayer just gets me on Jesus,” he said. “When my mind gets focused on Him, it steps away from everything else that can easily bring stress, anxiety, worry, fear.”

He reminded his listeners that this isn’t optional—it’s essential. “This is why prayer is so important,” he emphasized. “This is why we have to be a people of prayer.”

Quoting Scripture, Kamela shared Proverbs 16:3 from the New King James Version: “Commit your works to the Lord and your thoughts will be established.” He added, “So how do you commit your works to the Lord? You do them with Him.”

Kamela’s heart behind it all is clear: “The thing that I want in my life every day is the fruit of the Spirit so strong… if I have God’s fruit—if I’ve got great love, great joy, great peace… that’s what I want. That’s what we need more of in this world.”

His encouragement is simple but profound: “Be faithful in the little. Lord, You’ve given me this—I’m going to be faithful in it. I’m going to trust You in it. I’m going to work hard at it ‘cause I’m working for You.”

Kamela closed with this challenge: “Maybe what you need every week is just time and solitude… to separate yourself from some things for a little while. Just sit with Him. Let Him love on you.”

And in that space—of quiet, of surrender, of honest conversation with God—Kamela believes the real transformation begins.

End Times Red Flag: Are We Now Living in the Days of Noah?

Author and researcher L.A. Marzulli says modern science is reviving the sins of Genesis 6, warning that current advances in gene editing may be fulfilling Jesus’ prophecy that the last days would be “as it was in the days of Noah.”

“We are taking genetic material and mixing the seed,” Marzulli said during a recent broadcast. “We’re doing that. Can the rapture be that far off? I don’t know. Not a date setter, but maybe next Wednesday.”

Citing Matthew 24 and the extra-biblical book of Enoch, Marzulli linked contemporary genetic experiments—including the attempted resurrection of extinct species—to the actions of fallen angels before the flood.

“We know the fallen angels sinned against the animal kingdom,” he said. “Read the book of Enoch. That’s why, you know, folks, if you were going to keep one book out of people’s hands, out of the seminaries… Oh, don’t read Enoch!”

Marzulli focused on a Dallas-based biotech company, Colossal Biosciences, that claims to have brought dire wolf pups back using ancient DNA and gene-editing techniques. “They’re able to take some of those genetic attributes and put them in with a normal wolf,” he said. “From my perspective, this is a line… we’re kind of playing God here, aren’t we?”

For Marzulli, this isn’t just a scientific curiosity—it’s a prophetic red flag.

“Jesus warns us it would be like the days of Noah,” he said. “We’re back there again. In modernity. In the present day.”

Marzulli also addressed the theological implications of resurrection, tying genetic science to biblical eschatology. “The Lord himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, the trump of God,” he said, quoting 1 Thessalonians 4. “The dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air.”

“If they can retrieve enough DNA to recreate a dire wolf… how much more could God do with our bodies at the Resurrection?” he added.

Marzulli concluded with a reference to Jesus as the “prototype,” pointing to the Shroud of Turin as what he called “forensic proof of the greatest moment in all of history—and that’s the Resurrection of the God-man, Yeshua, Jesus the Messiah.”

The warning is as ancient as it is current: tampering with the divine order has consequences. And if Marzulli is right, those consequences may soon be upon us.
