‘Unbeliveable’: 1-Year-Old ‘Miracle Baby’ Survives Two Days Alone in Ditch

A 1-year-old baby who survived two days in a ditch along the Louisiana highway was miraculously rescued last week by an eagle-eye trucker who spotted the child crawling toward the road.

“We looked at this 1-year-old as our miracle baby, because he was still alive,” said Calcasieu Parish Sheriff Stitch Guillory, calling the entire ordeal “unbelievable,” according to KPLC-TV. He added, “This kid spent two days out in the weather on the side of the highway. Thank God that trucker saw him. When you look at the video here, he was, you know, crawling toward the highway.”

The infant, Kingtrail, was found just a few miles away from the body of his 4-year-old brother, Legend, who died. The cause of his death has not yet been determined. Both children were last seen with their mother, Aaliyah N. Jack.

The 25-year-old mother was arrested at a train station in Mississippi as she was reportedly “trying to get out of town.” She is sitting in a Mississippi jail cell awaiting extradition to Louisiana, where she faces one count of second-degree murder, two counts of failure to report a missing child, and one count of cruelty to a juvenile. Her bond is set at more than $9 million.

The children’s paternal grandmother, who was largely responsible for caring for Legend, broke down crying in a local media interview with KPLC-TV, calling the entire situation “a nightmare.”

Jack’s mother, Conswella Jack, said in a statement to the outlet she has not spoken to her daughter since Legend’s body was found and Kingtrail was rescued. She told the Acadiana Advocate she had been helping Aaliyah Jack financially and does not understand why her daughter might have hurt her grandchildren.

Kirk Cameron ‘Didn’t Feel Safe’ in California, Moved Family to God-Fearing State of Tennessee

On the eve of America’s birthday, actor Kirk Cameron announced he has fled California for Tennessee.

The “Growing Pains” star said his decision to abandon the West Coast was sparked by the COVID-19 pandemic restrictions and solidified by the political and cultural disunity present across the Golden State.

“It’s pretty clear that California has been moving in a particular direction for a long time,” he told the Washington Examiner.

Cameron, 53, also took to his Facebook account last week to talk about his move to the Volunteer State.

He joked that the policies in California are making state Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) the “U-Haul employee of the year” as many are choosing to leave the Pacific Coast and head to other states.

“As Pastor Jack Hibbs has reminded us, we can all be Tennesseans and join in on the parade of praise and of repentance, fasting, and prayer, asking God to have His hand of mercy on your state—whether that’s California or New York or New Hampshire or Minnesota or South Dakota, wherever you are.”

Cameron said in a separate interview that he discovered Tennessee has become a haven for “a lot of California refugees,” including many “creatives” looking for a new place outside of Hollywood to establish community.

PRAY: Two Chick-fil-A Employees Killed by Illegal Immigrant in Texas

A Chick-fil-A restaurant in Irving, Texas, is temporarily closing its doors after a Salvadoran man who entered the U.S. illegally reportedly shot and killed two employees at the fast-food location.

Officers with the Irving Police Department said in the aftermath of the attack that they do not believe the double homicide was a random act of violence. Rather, they said, it was a “targeted” assault. And the suspect, identified as 37-year-old Oved Bernardo Mendoza Argueta, fled the scene before officers arrived, KXAS-TV reported.

Once police arrived on the scene, they pronounced two victims dead inside the restaurant.

Mendoza Argueta reportedly fled the scene in a 1997 Honda four-dour sedan. He is married to a Chick-fil-A employee who witnessed the crime and identified her husband to authorities. Mendoza Argueta was captured by police in the early morning hours Thursday and booked in the Irving City Jail.

He has been charged with capital murder.

The alleged perpetrator was swiftly placed on an immigration detainer by the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, which means ICE intends to take custody of the assailant.

‘Only God’: Couple Finds Jesus After Previously Getting Married as Gay, Transgender

“Only God can do that.”

Those are the words of Lex Renick, a female who formerly identified as a transgender male before she and her husband—who used to identify as homosexual—came to faith in Jesus.

Nic and Lex Renick got married May 30, 2020, when both of them were living out their LGBT lifestyles. They have since turned away from their past decisions, with Lex restoring her female identify and returning to the name she was given at birth and Nic abandoning his homosexual identity.

The pair married one another as husband and husband but, since their respective salvation experiences, now identify as a heterosexual couple—husband and wife. They recently spoke with The Daily Wire’s Michael Knowles about their salvation experiences in a lengthy interview.

Knowles, a Catholic, described the couple’s testimony as “one of the wildest stories I’ve ever heard.”

In addition to restoring their lives spiritually, Lex and Nic told Knowles they are seeing physical restoration. The two now share a healthy baby and, early on in their relationship, Lex underwent biopsies and was told she had cancerous cells in her body. But a doctor from Planned Parenthood recently told her, “This doesn’t make physical possible sense, but you no longer have any cancerous cells in your body.”

“I think it just goes to show that anyone can transform or turn into anything that they want,” said Nic of their experience together. “But nobody talks about transforming back to the original design that you’re supposed to be.”

He continued, “The world can tell you so much about who you’re ‘supposed to be’ based off of your interests or your personality type, and try to fit you into all of these crazy, outlandish boxes that might … make you feel included for a time.”

For her part, Lex opened up about the fact she believed the “lie” of the LGBT community.

“The whole world in the queer community was saying, ‘Well, you know, if God made you then God made you this way,’” she recalled hearing. “[But] that argument doesn’t work with the trans community. Because, if we say, ‘God made me this way,’ then that means that I should have been a woman.”

Lex went on to explain to Knowles she found solace in the LGBT community, because she was desperate for identity and belonging—something she had not previously found in her family or faith.

She grew up in an abusive household—one that claimed to be “Christian”—with a mother who struggled with alcoholism and even once told Lex, “If I would have known that you were going to be my child, I would have aborted you,” a comment her mother made after learning Lex struggled with her sexuality and gender identity.

Every time she tried to find comfort and safety in her family or in a church, Lex said they would “reject me.” Ultimately, she found the belonging she desired in the LGBT movement.

Rodeo Star Spencer Wright, Wife Pray for ‘Miracle’ After Finding 3-Year-Old Son Unconscious

Rodeo star Spencer Wright and his wife, Kallie, are petitioning God for a miracle after finding their 3-year-old son Levi unconscious in a creek.

The heartbroken parents are holding out hope there’s still “time for a miracle,” despite initially starting to make preparations Wednesday to end care for their young son, according to local media reports. Levi has been in the hospital since Tuesday night, when he drove his toy tractor into a creek in Utah and drifted a mile downstream.

It wasn’t until a new doctor came in to care for little Levi that the Wrights decided to change their plans, giving their son a bit more time to fight—and it appears to be paying off.

“LEVI WOKE UP!” Kallie Wright wrote in a Facebook post Thursday. “I am shook. We don’t know much, but the doctor said it was OK for me to get excited about that, and I AM! My baby is so tough!”

Family friend and spokesperson Mindy Sue Clark wrote in a Facebook post Friday morning she is “in awe of God’s work, and how tough Levi is!” She described the strides he’s made since Wednesday as “nothing short of miracles,” adding, “What an amazing gift to witness this in real time.”

One of the first signs of Levi’s apparent improvement came during a FaceTime call with his sister, Steeley, who wanted to talk to her brother even after her parents explained that, although Levi could hear her, he would be unable to respond.

“Steeley started telling Levi how she was hoping he’d get better and couldn’t wait for him to come home,” wrote Clark. “Spencer was watching the EEG monitor and noticed, when Steeley would talk to him, there would be activity on the monitor, so he recorded it. [The] same thing happened when we played him the dinosaur sounds from one of his favorite dinosaur books, and then again when Kallie gave him kisses!”

Parents Praise God After Daughters Miraculously Saved From Nearly Drowning

Parents in northernmost Oklahoma are crediting God for miraculously intervening after their two young daughters survived a horrific near-drowning incident.

“We do believe God was there,” Jacob McKnight, the little girls’ father, told KWTV-DT. “We believe that there’s a miracle at play.”

“From 2:00 to 5:00, we were all out there together—me and all of the girls,” recalled Caitlin McKnight. “Ellie came in to say ‘hi’ to daddy because she heard him talking, and I followed. I went back out [and] noticed that I didn’t see [my two older daughters].”

Immediately, Caitlin and Jacob McKnight began frantically searching the property.

“I’m starting to get pretty panicked at this point,” Jacob said of the harrowing ordeal. “I assumed the worst, so I ran over to the pool, and I could see—crystal clear—I saw them at the bottom of the pool.”

The young girls were in the deepest point of the pool, 10 feet below the surface.

The fact Jacob McKnight was able to see his daughters through the murky water and pull them from 10 feet under water was, in itself, a miracle. As soon as the girls were out of the water, they began CPR.

“They were dead,” he recalled. “But our medical team, with their knowledge, wisdom and equipment, were able to bring them back. We feel so blessed to be at this hospital.”
