The evangelist drew parallels with biblical instances where God warned His people of impending calamities. From Noah’s time to the Babylonian invasion, Stone emphasized that God consistently communicated through true prophets, providing warnings and, at times, specific timeframes for preparation. True prophets, according to Stone, are validated by the accuracy of their predictions.

Stone then transitioned into a series of dreams he has had over the years, specifically focusing on tsunami scenarios affecting various coastal areas of the United States. While clarifying that he does not actively seek such visions, Stone shared a recent dream from Nov. 9, in which he witnessed an earthquake and the subsequent threat of a tsunami.

“I do not go to bed thinking about tsunamis. I do not ask God to show me events concerning tsunamis. As a matter of fact, these dreams often come at a time when I least expect it,” Stone reveals.

The dream prompted Stone to explore the underlying reasons for such warnings. He delved into the biblical concept of shedding innocent blood, referencing Deuteronomy 21. Stone contended that the legalization of abortion in 1973 marked a turning point, leading to the shedding of innocent blood and, potentially, inviting divine judgment.

Citing Proverbs 6:16-17, Stone highlighted that God hates hands that shed innocent blood. Drawing a parallel with Pharaoh’s decree to drown Hebrew male infants in the Nile, Stone suggested that God might use water-related catastrophes as a form of divine retribution.

The evangelist issued a stark warning about the consequences of reversing pro-life stances and returning to a culture that permits the shedding of innocent blood. ISIS claimed responsibility for the bombing, specifically targeting what they referred to as a “large gathering of Christian disbelievers” in the predominantly Muslim city, as reported by the SITE Intelligence Group. The attack occurred at the onset of Advent, a period leading up to Christmas when Mass attendance typically surges.

Lanao del Sur province Governor Mamintal Adiong Jr. confirmed over 40 individuals were receiving treatment at a local government hospital, with others treated for minor injuries at the university’s infirmary.

Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. condemned the attack on social media, labeling it as “senseless and most heinous” and attributing it to “foreign terrorists.” The United States also denounced the act of violence, expressing solidarity with the Philippines.

A recent survey conducted by Whitestone Insights has unveiled a troubling trend among young Britons, indicating that nearly a quarter of individuals aged 18 to 34 would support banning the Bible if they perceived it as containing “hate speech.” This revelation has sparked concerns among religious freedom advocates who believe this shift in attitude could contribute to the deterioration of not only Great Britain but Western culture as a whole.

Lois McLatchie, a representative of Alliance Defending Freedom UK, expressed her apprehensions during a recent interview on GBNews. Drawing attention to the consequences faced by Christians in Finland, where former Minister of the Interior, Päivi Räsänen, was acquitted of hate speech charges for sharing a Bible verse on marriage and sexuality, McLatchie warned against the dangers of stifling religious expression.

“We may no longer be a majority Christian population here in Britain. That’s even more reason to protect freedom of speech and belief for all,” McLatchie emphasized.

The survey results indicate that young adults are the most likely demographic to support banning religious texts, with 23% of those aged 18 to 34 agreeing with the statement. In comparison, 35- to 54-year-olds followed at 17%, while those over 55 were the least likely to support such a ban, with only 13% in agreement.

“Censoring one type of belief because it fails to fit with the dominant orthodoxy of our day is no better than imposing the illiberal blasphemy laws of the Middle Ages,” McLatchie warns.

Having rainbows in the world of Trolls is nothing new, but it is the representation and how they are used that shows a direct correlation to the modern-day pride flag, instead of simply being a rainbow.

Lining the streets as they do during the month of June, pride month now in the United States (the President himself declared America, “A nation of pride”), these rainbow banners now include the color pink, just as the pride flag did to include people who believe they are transgender. Below one of them is a heart, which falls in line with the false equivalency of “love is love” often pronounced by those in support of the LGBTQ agenda.

As parents, it is crucial to recognize that what appears harmless on the surface may carry deeper, potentially nefarious intentions. The rainbow, a symbol of God’s covenant, is subtly merged with symbols associated with movements that do not align with biblical teachings. This underscores the importance of being vigilant about the content our children consume and its potential impact on their spiritual development.

Proverbs 22:6 encourages us to “Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old, he will not depart from it.” This verse underscores the responsibility we bear as parents to impart biblical values that withstand the challenges of the world.

In Ephesians 6:4, fathers are specifically urged to bring up their children in the discipline and instruction of the Lord. This involves being actively involved in our children’s lives, guiding them through the maze of conflicting messages they may encounter in the media and providing a solid foundation rooted in biblical truths.

To safeguard our children’s spiritual well-being, it is imperative that we remain vigilant, discerning and engaged in their lives. This involves not only monitoring the content they consume but also fostering open communication, where our children are comfortable discussing the values and beliefs depicted in the media they encounter.

Because if we do not teach our children what is morally right and wrong, then society will.

Recent findings from a Department for Education report in Great Britain reveal that clergy members, entrusted with the spiritual guidance of congregations, rank among the top 20 professions most susceptible to the impact of AI, particularly in the realm of “large language model” systems.

According to the study, clergy members hold the 13th position in vulnerability among the 365 occupational categories examined. The assessment considered crucial skills inherent in each profession, such as written comprehension and inductive reasoning, evaluating their replicability by AI systems.

While the study underscores potential challenges, it is essential to recognize the nuanced landscape of AI integration in religious practices. Instances of AI-generated sermons and AI-powered church ceremonies have already emerged, sparking discussions within the Christian community about the role of technology in ministry.

Theologians and leaders, such as Jonas Simmerlein of the University of Vienna, acknowledge the value of AI in aiding clergy members in sermon preparation. Even former Church of Scotland head, the Very Rev Albert Bogle, encourages an embrace of AI while asserting its limitations in replicating the profound human experience of worship.

The potential drawbacks of relying solely on AI in ministry also include the risk of diluting the personal touch that defines pastoral care. The unique nuances of human experience, empathy and emotional connection that clergy bring to their congregations are elements not easily replicated by machines.

Many within the Christian faith have also raised the alarm at the potential of the Bible being rewritten for a more modern audience, and makes it more “inclusive.”

This fear, while valid, does not need AI to be accomplished, merely fast-tracked. It is groups such as PETA, LGBTQ activists, even the government of China, who are actively working to re-write the Bible and take away from the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.

The Christian community is mourning the loss of Christian music trailblazer, Jimmy Owens, who passed away peacefully Sunday, Nov. 26. His wife, Carol, preceded him to heaven in March of this year. They were married 68 years.

A prominent figure in the Christian music scene, Jimmy, along with Carol, etched a lasting legacy with their iconic musicals, “Come Together,” “The Witness” and “If My People,” which gained nationwide acclaim during the early 1970s.

Jimmy’s journey of faith led him to serve as Music Director at Melodyland Christian Center in Anaheim, California, before dedicating his full-time efforts to musicals, children’s music, writing and teaching. The couple co-founded the School of Music Ministries International.

Their hymns, including Carol’s “Freely, Freely (God Forgave My Sin),” became cherished expressions of devotion. In 1981, they received a Grammy nomination for their classic children’s album, “Ants’hillvania.” Carol chronicled their spiritual journey in her memoir, “Chasing Fireflies in the Twilight.”

Beyond their musical contributions, Jimmy and Carol collaborated with influential Christian artists and ministries, leaving an enduring impact on the early ministry of the Second Chapter of Acts.

The Owens family legacy continues through their children, Buddy Owens, a teaching pastor at Saddleback Church, and Jamie Owens-Collins, a contemporary Christian recording artist and writer. Jamie’s renowned composition, “The Battle Belongs to the Lord,” stands as a testament to the family’s enduring faith.

As Israeli hostages, kidnapped by Hamas during the Oct. 7 terror attack in southern Israel, are gradually freed under a U.S.-Qatari-Egyptian brokered cease-fire deal, stories of the horrors endured during their 50-plus days in captivity are emerging.

In the Schneider Medical Center in Tel Aviv, a specially assembled team of professionals, led by Dr. Yael Mozer Glassberg, is tasked with treating the returned hostages. Dr. Mozer Glassberg, usually heading the hospital’s liver transplant unit, stated, “It is very, very quiet here,” contrasting the usual sounds of pediatric wards. The team has worked with 22 freed hostages, including 15 children, in a specially created ward.

While physically stable, many hostages lost up to 15% of their body weight, and all are hesitant to raise their voices after their prolonged stay with terrorists. Family members and psycho-social medical teams are providing comfort and support. However, it’s too early to discuss the full impact of their ordeal.

Israeli authorities have requested that hostages and their families avoid sharing in-depth details of their time in captivity due to concerns for the safety of those still held in Gaza. Nevertheless, information that has surfaced reveals the brutal treatment by captors, particularly toward toddlers, young children and the elderly.

Deborah Cohen, the aunt of 12-year-old Eitan Yahalomi, revealed that terrorists forced her nephew to watch raw footage of the Oct. 7 horrors at gunpoint. If he or other children cried, the terrorists threatened them with a gun to keep quiet. Yahalomi, kidnapped from his home, was placed on the back of a motorcycle and driven into Gaza, where people jeered and beat him.

Relatives of the hostages have faced difficulties sharing terror stories from the Oct. 7 massacre, which claimed over 1,200 lives in southern Israel.

Israel’s Ministry of Health reports that 69 hostages have been freed so far, including 51 Israeli citizens and 18 foreign nationals. Thirty are children, 20 are women, and one man. However, nine Israeli children, including a 10-month-old baby, remain in captivity.
