Is President Trump Fulfilling Joshua’s Mission in Gaza?

This week, President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu sat down for a historic meeting that could reshape not only the Middle East but potentially usher in fulfillment of biblical prophecy. At the heart of their discussion? Gaza—its future, its people and who will control it.

Trump made it clear: “The U.S. will take over the Gaza Strip, and we will do a good job with it, too. We’ll own it and be responsible for dismantling all of the dangerous, unexplored bombs and other weapons on the site.” That word—dismantling—stands out. It’s the same word used throughout the Bible when Israel’s righteous judges and kings tore down the high places dedicated to foreign gods. Could it be that Donald Trump is playing a role much bigger than just geopolitics? Could he be fulfilling a biblical mandate?

The Biblical Mandate for Clearing the Land

Gaza has long been a stronghold of Israel’s enemies, dating back to the Philistines who occupied the land during the time of Joshua and King David. Despite Joshua’s divine mission to clear the Promised Land, Israel never fully took control of Gaza, and even David, for all his victories, never conquered it. The consequences of that failure have echoed through history—foreign gods, opposition to Israel and bloodshed. Netanyahu himself emphasized this history, stating his goal was to “make sure that Gaza never poses a threat to Israel again.”

But Trump is going beyond just securing Israel’s safety. He’s talking about completely leveling Gaza and rebuilding it into something entirely different—perhaps something no longer under the influence of ancient principalities and powers. If Trump follows through, could this be the moment when the land is finally reclaimed for Israel, as God commanded Joshua? If so, the blessings upon America for standing with Israel could be immeasurable.

Or Is the U.S. Merely Another Occupier?

However, there is another side to this. If the United States takes control of Gaza, are we fulfilling biblical prophecy, or are we simply another temporary occupier standing in the way of God’s ultimate plan? The land of Israel was given to the 12 tribes—not to America. If the U.S. positions itself as the ruler of Gaza rather than returning it to Israel’s hands, could we inadvertently invite judgment upon ourselves instead of blessing?

This is not without precedent. Empires have come and gone, controlling the land but never fully bringing peace. If the U.S. is merely another steward, will the same ancient powers remain? The high places may be dismantled, but if Israel does not fully reclaim what was promised to them, will the same spiritual strongholds persist? History has shown that those who stand in opposition to Israel’s divine inheritance ultimately fall.

A New Era for U.S.-Israel Relations

Whatever the case, one thing is clear: under Trump, the United States is back in Israel’s corner in a way it hasn’t been in years. After the cold shoulder of the Obama and Biden administrations, Netanyahu is once again working with a U.S. president who is thinking boldly and breaking the mold.

Biblical Signs? Earthquakes Shake the World and Call for Prayer

A series of undersea earthquakes has caused uncertainty across the Greek island of Santorini, one of the world’s most picturesque destinations. Over the past three days, more than 200 tremors have rattled the region, some reaching a magnitude of 4.9. Authorities have moved swiftly, shutting down schools and restricting access to unstable areas. Meanwhile, many residents and tourists are evacuating hastily, fearing what may come next.

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis urged calm, acknowledging, “We have a very intense geological phenomenon to handle.” Prominent seismologists warn that while the tremors are tectonic and not directly linked to Santorini’s volcanic activity, their frequency and magnitude are concerning. Some worry that these small quakes could be precursors to something far more devastating.

The Bible speaks clearly about such events. Matthew 24:7 reminds us, “For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes in diverse places.” Christ’s words serve as a sobering reminder that natural upheavals are not random but part of a greater unfolding plan. While we cannot predict when or where disasters will strike, we can remain spiritually prepared.

The ancient island of Santorini itself stands as a testament to the power of creation and destruction. Nearly 3,500 years ago, a volcanic eruption reshaped its landscape, contributing to the decline of the Minoan civilization.

Yet, as believers, we are not called to live in fear but in faith. Psalm 46:1 declares, “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” While the earth trembles, we find our foundation in Christ, who is unshakable.

Christians Watchmen: Standing Firm in an Age of Media Deception

There was a time when the mainstream media at least attempted to be a source of truth. Today, it seems they’ve abandoned that mission entirely. L.A. Marzulli puts it bluntly:

“The mainstream media is engaged in nothing but—I don’t wanna use the word lies.”

Breaking NewsSpirit-Filled Stories. Subscribe to Charisma on YouTube now!

We see this happening every day. Turn on the news, and instead of honest reporting, we find narratives designed to manipulate. As Marzulli rightly points out, this isn’t just about bias—it’s about outright deception. And what does the Bible say?

“Justice is held back, righteousness stands far away, truth is thrown to the street, and honesty cannot come in,” (Isa. 59:14)

This verse perfectly describes our world today. Truth has become inconvenient, discarded and trampled underfoot. But as Christians, we are called to stand firm, to be bearers of the light in a dark world.

The Battle for Truth and Freedom

It’s not just about the media. We’re witnessing a full-scale assault on free speech. Marzulli warns:

“Our First Amendment rights—just even being able to push against the prevailing narrative—might cause trouble here on our YouTube.”

Big Tech and major media outlets are doing everything they can to silence voices that challenge their agenda. But here’s the good news: God’s truth will never be silenced. No algorithm, no censorship, no government decree can stop the power of His Word. Jesus Himself said, “Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away,” (Matt. 24:35)

5 Global Events That Align with Bible Prophecy

Pastor Tom Hughes, in a recent “Hope For Our Times” video, broke down global events and their prophetic significance.

“Everything is being set up for that world leader that is going to come,” he warns.

Key Prophetic Events Unfolding

1. Worship of Creation Over the Creator

At the Democratic National Committee chair election, a female pastor led a prayer “to the universe,” rather than to God. Hughes cites Romans 1:25: “They will worship the creation rather than the Creator.” He warns, “How much further down this path will we be driven?” and questions its impact on America’s future.

2. The European Union’s Defiance Against Trump

The European Union has openly pushed back against Trump, declaring, “We will not be bullied.” Hughes believes this resistance sets the stage for a new global leader, saying, “A revived Roman Empire… the Antichrist is coming out of those people.” As opposition to Trump grows, Hughes suggests that a charismatic leader from Europe will emerge, uniting both political sides.

3. Mexico’s Strategic Positioning

Mexico has agreed to deploy troops to curb illegal migration and fentanyl trafficking. While this may seem like progress, Hughes warns that their cooperation is strategic rather than sincere. “I’m pretty confident a lot of these leaders are saying we’re going to go along with Trump because they really are being put into a position where they need to.” He suggests global powers are aligning for future political maneuvers.

4. Egypt’s Military Buildup and Israel

An Israeli UN ambassador has raised concerns about Egypt’s military buildup, stating it is “for one purpose, and that is war with Israel.” While some claim Egypt is preparing for regional conflicts, Hughes notes, “Many Israelis believe… they [Egypt] still hate the nation of Israel and they want to make war with them.” Given biblical prophecy, this development is highly significant.

5. The Rise of a Global Digital System

AI, digital currency and economic shifts are paving the way for increased control over global transactions. Hughes states, “With technology and the fast-forward [pace] things [are] developing… that mark of the beast is certainly going that direction.” The rapid expansion of artificial intelligence and digital ID systems could be setting up the infrastructure for a one-world economic system.

How AI is Changing Christian Ministry, And Why You Should Care

Artificial intelligence is no longer a futuristic concept—it’s here, and it’s making its way into Christian ministry. As reported by The Christian Post, a Christian tech company in Colorado, Gloo, has acquired Faith Assistant, an AI chatbot designed to help churches and ministries customize AI models for their unique needs. While many believers are wary of AI, it’s time to rethink how the church can embrace technology as a tool for good.

Gloo’s Chief AI Officer, Steele Billings, emphasized the importance of ministries controlling their own content: “They decide what the model is trained on and where it’s deployed.” This level of customization ensures that AI in Christian spaces remains aligned with biblical teaching and ministry goals. Faith Assistant’s co-founder Chase Cappo shared that this acquisition will “help more ministries implement unique AI strategies to accomplish their missions.”

Breaking NewsSpirit-Filled Stories. Subscribe to Charisma on YouTube now!

The implications are vast. Ministries using Faith Assistant have already seen benefits. Emily Haring Thevarajoo from KCBI stated, “The platform lets us provide 24/7 answers, encouragement and support, which means we can serve our audience whenever they need us.” AI doesn’t replace human connection—it enhances it, ensuring that ministry remains available to people at all times.

Of course, concerns about AI’s role in faith communities remain valid. A 2023 study by Gloo and the Barna Group found that 51% of Christians viewed AI as bad for the church, while only 22% saw it as beneficial. Yet, Gloo’s Chief Solutions Officer Brad Hill sees AI as an opportunity rather than a threat: “We believe it’s a moral imperative to use technology for good, and when used responsibly, the church has an opportunity to not only participate, but lead.”

At its core, the debate around AI in ministry isn’t about technology itself—it’s about trust. Can AI be used responsibly? Can it reflect Christian values? The answer lies in how it is implemented. Faith Assistant, for example, doesn’t operate independently; it is trained on sermons, resources and content provided by ministry leaders themselves. This ensures that AI serves as a supplement to, not a replacement for, human discipleship.

Exposing Hamas’ Cruelty: The Dark Reality of Israeli Hostages

As more Israeli hostages return home, the details of their captivity under Hamas are surfacing—and they are horrifying. The world should be paying attention.

Newly released hostages describe “severe malnutrition, psychological torment and forced confinement in cages,” according to reports highlighted by CBN’s Raj Nair. They were held in tunnels for “over 430-plus days, not seeing light for the entire time.” Hamas taunted them with food, then snatched it away. They were repeatedly told they’d be freed “tomorrow,” only for that promise to be cruelly broken time and again. And when Hamas finally did release them, it wasn’t an act of mercy—it was a PR stunt.

Breaking NewsSpirit-Filled Stories. Subscribe to Charisma on YouTube now!

Hamas turned their hostage releases into a grotesque parade, designed to manipulate the world into thinking they were the victims. As Nate Buzolic points out, “The parade and the extravaganza that Hamas chose and elected to put on off the back of a falsely proclaimed genocide… these parades are sickening to watch because they don’t truly reflect what these hostages have endured and been through.”

One of the most gut-wrenching stories is that of Yaden Bibas. He was abducted Oct. 7, along with his wife and two infant children from Kibbutz Nir Oz. Hamas dragged him into Gaza, ripping out his beard, separating him from his family. His babies—yes, babies—have now spent two birthdays in captivity. And yet, Hamas forced him to “go on stage, hold a certificate, forced to wave for a camera, knowing that his wife and children are still very likely somewhere in Gaza,” as Buzolic revealed.

While Hamas celebrates its hostage-taking, Israel does the opposite. Israel doesn’t parade its victims; it prioritizes their healing.

“Israel’s goal is for these people to start healing, rebuilding and restoring the life that was stolen from them,” Buzolic notes. Unlike Hamas, which thrives on publicizing pain to fuel its propaganda, Israel understands that true justice is not about spectacle—it’s about dignity.

Perhaps the most glaring hypocrisy is the lopsided exchange rate of hostages: Israel has returned 900 convicted Hamas terrorists—many of them murderers—in exchange for just 34 innocent civilians. If Hamas truly wanted “equality for Palestinians,” as their Western apologists claim, “they should have said, ‘We’ll give you all the hostages, and we’ll take 100 back,’” Buzolic argued. Instead, they demanded an outrageous price—because to Hamas, human life is merely a bargaining chip.

Meanwhile, as Israeli hostages return, Palestinians in Gaza cheer their tormentors. “There are thousands upon thousands of Gazans who gather, who are cheering, celebrating, laughing, getting their phones out, making content online,” Buzolic observed. If you don’t see the stark moral difference here, you are either “spiritually blind or you hold some sort of deep anti-Semitic belief that you want to see Israel as the problem.”

Rabbi Schneider’s Prophetic Dream Warns of Darker Days—Are You Ready?

The world is shifting, and now more than ever the Lord is on the move. As history unfolds before our eyes, those with spiritual discernment can see that we are living in prophetic times. In a recent message, Rabbi Kirt Schneider shared a prophetic dream that underscores the increasing turmoil gripping the planet. His vision speaks to the reality of global instability, moral decay, and an impending struggle that will test the endurance of humanity.

In the dream, Schneider found himself aboard a massive warship with hundreds of others, all weary from a grueling mission. The suffering was palpable—lives had been lost, and the journey had left its mark on everyone aboard. Just as relief seemed within reach, an officer entered his cabin and delivered a chilling message: “If you think that was hard, get ready. The next thing is going to be even harder.” This warning, he explained, is not just about personal struggle but a foreshadowing of what is unfolding in the world today.

A Time of Chaos and Evil

According to Schneider, chaos is the first front of evil. “Once the enemy can produce chaos, there’s nothing left in terms of strength and order to hold foundations together.” The breakdown of culture, morality, and institutions is opening the door for a more aggressive form of destruction. He pointed to Oct. 7, when Hamas militants attacked Israel in an act of “pure evil, pure hatred with no respect at all for humanity.” Unlike past conflicts fought under the laws of war, today’s violence targets civilians at concerts, shopping malls, and even schools. It is hatred for the sake of destruction.

Israel stands as a stark example of this growing instability. “We used to be optimistic,” an Israeli shopkeeper told Schneider before the war erupted. “But we’ve tried so hard to find a way of peace with our neighbors, and nothing has worked.” Now, surrounded by enemies, Israel faces existential threats from nations like Iran, which openly declares its intent to wipe the country off the map. “It’s only a matter of time before one of our enemies is able to pull the trigger,” the shopkeeper warned.

Fear and Uncertainty in America

The unease is not confined to the Middle East. Americans, too, are gripped by anxiety over their safety and the future of their country. Schneider referenced alarming statistics that reveal just how deeply these fears run:

  • 7 out of 10 Americans worry about keeping their families safe at night.
  • A third of Americans fear a total economic collapse.
  • 76% of Americans expect a massive global conflict involving the world’s superpowers within the next 25 years.

The economic outlook is equally bleak. Government spending is out of control, bureaucracy has become an unstoppable machine, and the very institutions meant to serve the people are instead draining resources. “It’s monstrous. And no one can rein it back in,” Schneider lamented, describing a system where employees are encouraged to waste taxpayer money to maintain their department budgets. This reckless approach is driving the nation toward financial disaster, yet those in power refuse to change course because doing so would require personal sacrifice.

The Antichrist and the Collapse of Moral Order

Schneider also warned of a deeper, spiritual war at play. He cited Scripture, explaining that the presence of God, which has long restrained evil, is now beginning to lift. “He that restrains will no longer restrain,” Schneider quoted from 2 Thessalonians 2:7, referring to the Holy Spirit’s diminishing role in holding back darkness. As morality erodes and deception spreads, society is creating the perfect conditions for the rise of the Antichrist.

“The world would become so desperate and so deluded and so deceived and so morally bankrupt that they would put their faith in the anti-Messiah, the Antichrist,” he warned. Evil is not just an abstract concept—it is intelligent, intentional, and actively working through both human agents and demonic forces to dismantle the foundations of civilization.

Why the End Times Matter: 4 Reasons You Can’t Ignore

Let’s be honest—talking about the end times can feel overwhelming, even scary. But bestselling author and pastor Max Lucado wants us to look at it differently: with hope and trust in Jesus Christ. In a recent message, Lucado laid out why we should care about the end times and what Scripture tells us is coming next.

“Why should we care about the end times?” Lucado asks. “That’s the question we will answer today.” His answer? There are four key reasons, and they matter now more than ever.

1. We’re All Heading Somewhere

If you’ve ever wondered what the future holds, the Bible gives us clear direction. “When we look at what Scripture says about the future, we can say with confidence that the end of this age will be all about hope and all about Him—Jesus Christ.” The future isn’t about fear; it’s about knowing where we’re going.

2. We’ve Reached the Fourth Quarter of Human History

Lucado describes our current moment in history as the final stretch. The world is changing rapidly, and if you feel like things are speeding up, you’re not alone. “We’ve reached the fourth quarter of human history,” he explains. While we don’t know the exact time of Christ’s return, Scripture makes it clear that history is moving toward a climactic moment.

3. Paradise Is Our Next Stop

For believers, the end times are not something to dread. “Our next stop on our journey toward eternity … is Paradise.” But before that happens, things are going to get difficult. “So far so good, but things are about to get a little rougher, a little tougher,” Lucado says. “Now’s the time to buckle your seatbelt and strap on your safety harness.”

4. A Bad Day Is Coming for the Residents of Earth

Lucado doesn’t sugarcoat it. “Not a ho-hum day. Not an inconvenient day. Not even a mildly aggravating day. In the words of little Alexander from the children’s books, this will be a ‘terrible, horrible, no-good, very bad day.’”

This bad day begins with the rapture, when “’in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye,’ Jesus will gather all living believers to Himself.” Those who have accepted Christ will be transported into His presence.

But what about those left behind? That’s where things take a dark turn. Immediately after the rapture comes a seven-year period of grief and chaos and pain—what the Bible calls the Tribulation. And at the center of this period? The rise of the Antichrist.

Breaking NewsSpirit-Filled Stories. Subscribe to Charisma on YouTube now!

Who Is the Antichrist?

Lucado lays it out clearly: “The Antichrist will be a major player during this period of time. Have you heard that title before? It’s mentioned more than a hundred times in the pages of God’s Word.”

So, what does the Bible say about him?

  • He will be “a fierce-looking king, a master of intrigue” (Dan. 8:23).
  • “He will become very strong, but not by his own power.”
  • “He will cause astounding devastation and will succeed in whatever he does.”
  • “He will destroy those who are mighty, the holy people.”
  • “He will cause deceit to prosper and will consider himself superior.”

To put it simply, Lucado says, “The Antichrist is quite literally anti-Christ. He is anti-salvation, anti-hope, anti-forgiveness and anti-truth.”

He won’t just be a dictator; he will be a deceiver. “Something will trigger a tsunami of evil, and during a time of immorality and depravity and barbarism and terrorism, he will appear on the world stage.”

The Tribulation is a time of unparalleled suffering. “Are we in that stage of evil?” Lucado asks. “Not yet, but it sure seems to be nearing.”

The Worst Time in Human History

Lucado doesn’t hold back when describing what’s coming. “The final 3 1/2 years of the Tribulation will be the worst stretch of time experienced by humanity at any previous point in civilization.” How bad will it be? According to Jesus Himself:

“If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, but for the sake of the elect, those days will be shortened” (Matt. 24:22, NIV).

The book of Revelation describes this time in terrifying detail:

  • Hail and fire mixed with blood.
  • Oceans and rivers incapable of sustaining life.
  • Pestilence and plague.
  • A darkening of the moon and stars.
  • Demonic hordes and festering sores.
  • Woe upon woe.

“This moment in history is often described as the day of the Lord,” Lucado explains. “Thankfully, you and I are presently living in the day of grace.” But that grace won’t last forever.

Why Should Christians Care?

You might be thinking, “Well, if I’m going to be raptured, why does this matter to me?” Lucado answers that question head-on: “It matters to God.”

  • The Bible gives at least 36 different names for the Tribulation.
  • The majority of the book of Revelation describes it.
  • Jesus dedicated His final sermon to explaining it.

Lucado emphasizes that God is showing us the seriousness of sin. “The Tribulation reminds us that God hates sin. He hates what turns people away from Him and turns people into violent, depraved, self-centered creatures.”

He also warns that some people reading this may experience the Tribulation. “Are you keeping Christ at arm’s length? Are you retaining primary control of your life? If so, God is spelling out the facts of the future to come.”

Lucado doesn’t end with fear; instead, he ends with hope. “A bad day is coming, but believers will be leaving at the Rapture. Will you be on that train?”

He reminds us, “The Tribulation is not your intended destiny, and you do not want to be here when the restrainer is removed and evil runs rampant.”

Don’t be afraid. Simply say yes to God while there’s still time. “Before the night comes.”

It’s a heavy topic, but Lucado leaves us with this final reassurance: “Please remember—it’s all about hope. And it’s all about Him.”

Iran, Turkey and Russia: The Prophetic Alliance Against Israel?

The Middle East stands at a boiling point once again. Iran has issued a fresh warning of “all-out war” should the United States or Israel strike its nuclear facilities. But as “The Watchman” host Erick Stakelbeck has pointed out, this time, Tehran is speaking from a position of weakness rather than strength.

Iran’s once-feared ‘Ring of Fire’—the terror network surrounding Israel—has been severely weakened. Hamas, Hezbollah and other Iranian proxies have suffered devastating blows, while Israeli strikes have crippled Iran’s air defenses. The regime’s threats, though loud, lack the bite they once had. However, with Donald Trump back in office, Tehran knows it faces a renewed “maximum pressure” campaign, far different from the leniency it enjoyed under the previous administration.

But Iran is not the only power maneuvering in the region. Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has reaffirmed his alliance with Hamas, welcoming its leadership to Ankara. As Stakelbeck has long warned, Erdoğan is no mere politician—he sees himself as the leader of a revived Islamic empire. His vision, rooted in the Muslim Brotherhood’s ideology, is to reclaim Ottoman-era influence, with Jerusalem as a central focus.

The most troubling reality? Turkey remains a NATO member, enjoying military privileges while openly backing Hamas. Stakelbeck highlights the glaring silence from Western allies, who turn a blind eye to Turkey’s radical shift. Meanwhile, with Iran’s influence in Syria fading, Erdoğan sees an opportunity to expand Turkish control in the region. Russia, despite its geopolitical rivalry with both nations, has formed an uneasy partnership with Iran and Turkey—united by their shared hostility toward Israel.

All of this aligns with a greater biblical reality. The prophecies of Ezekiel 38 and 39 describe a coalition of nations rising against Israel in the last days. Iran (Persia) and Turkey (Beth-Togarmah) are both named among them. Stakelbeck has repeatedly pointed out that the geopolitical shifts of today are setting the stage for prophetic fulfillment.

The prophetic chessboard is being arranged. The enemy may rage, but Scripture assures that Israel will not be destroyed. These events are not random; they are part of a greater plan. The storm is rising, but the victory has already been won. The King is coming.

Pastor Jack Hibbs Exposes a Growing Threat, And It Hits Close to Home

The presidential inauguration often includes a National Prayer Service meant to unify the nation. However, this year’s event at the Washington National Cathedral sparked controversy, drawing sharp criticism from Pastor Jack Hibbs of Calvary Chapel Chino Hills.

At the center of the issue was an Episcopal bishop who, instead of offering a unifying prayer, used the moment for a political message. Hibbs called it a “debacle” and questioned, “Is there anything more sinister than this that would be a planned debacle?” He also criticized her credentials, stating, “According to First and Second Timothy and Titus, she’s not a bishop.”

Breaking NewsSpirit-Filled Stories. Subscribe to Charisma on YouTube now!

Beyond critiquing the bishop, Hibbs expressed concern over those advising Trump on religious matters. “Whoever’s picking Trump’s religious exposure makes me cringe. I’m terrified,” he admits. “If I were Trump, I wouldn’t accept another invitation to a church. Wouldn’t do it. It’s too risky.” He urged Trump to surround himself with “a handful of people that say, ‘Mr. President, here’s what’s going on.’” Without proper vetting, he warned, “somebody already screwed up the first day out of the gate. Not good.”

Hibbs made it clear that Trump must be more cautious about who he allows to influence his religious engagements. “We don’t need him to be worried about or thinking about where he goes and speaks next at some church,” he states “He needs a group of solid, Spirit-filled believers who are not in it for the spotlight, who can vet these things properly.” He believes that many of the so-called faith leaders given access to Trump’s events were politically driven rather than biblically sound. “Who on his team, who in PR, who as a Spirit-filled believer is the one doing this? Or is there a Spirit-filled believer doing it at all? I get a little skeptical. It’s scary.”

Hibbs warned of deceptive leaders, citing 2 Timothy 3:1: “But know this, that in the last days… perilous times will come.” He elaborated, “There’s going to be those in the last days who look religious, but they deny the power of God… and from such people, turn away.” He noted that religious leaders using their platforms for political activism instead of spiritual leadership is a serious concern, particularly when they leverage their influence to manipulate believers.
