Evidence Continues Mounting for the Historical Reality of Jesus

While skepticism toward Scripture and the divinity of Jesus Christ continues to spread, a growing body of archaeological evidence is bolstering the case for Christianity’s historical claims.

Appearing on The Michael Knowles Show, Christian scholar and apologist Jeremiah Johnston recounted his visit to Turin, Italy, where he viewed the Shroud of Turin, believed by many to be the burial cloth of Jesus.

“The image is fading, Michael, off the shroud,” Johnston said. “And we’re not guaranteed to always have the image with us.”

Johnston emphasized the significance of tangible, physical evidence in a world where faith is often dismissed as blind or irrational. “Unlike any other religion in the world, Christianity puts itself to a historical test,” he said. “Most Christians are unaware that I can build 65 facts, Michael, about the life, death, burial and resurrection of Jesus using extra-biblical sources… before I ever open the New Testament.”

Among the most compelling discoveries discussed was a first-century artifact known as the “Jesus cup,” bearing a Greek inscription translating to “through Christ the magician.” Johnston noted, “Jesus’ fame spread first and foremost as a miracle worker and as an exorcist.” He added, “When you use the name of Jesus, things happen.”

Johnston also described “Jewish magic bowls” from the 4th to 7th centuries that invoke the name of Jesus for various purposes, healing, curses, even love charms. “These are all Jewish magic bowls that invoke the name of Jesus because the name of Jesus has power,” he said.

Perhaps most striking was his mention of the earliest known fragment of the Gospel of Matthew, dated to the second century and stored quietly in Oxford. “This is the first fragment that we have from antiquity that invokes the name of Jesus,” Johnston explained.

Taking aim at modern cynics who question Jesus’ existence, Johnston didn’t mince words. “If I cannot believe that Jesus existed, I should not believe in any of the Roman emperors,” he said. “We have the same level of evidence for Jesus of Nazareth that we do for Roman emperors of the first century.”

His conclusion was as clear as it was convicting: “We need to come back to the sources. We need to be Christian thinkers, do the actual great commandment and love God with our heart, soul and mind. And then we’re going to change the world.”

For those still asking, “How can we know any of this is true?” the evidence speaks louder with each discovery.

Christian Leaders Warn: Biblical Truth About Israel Is Being Ignored

Best-selling author Joel Rosenberg says a growing number of young evangelicals are turning against Israel, in part due to what he describes as a lack of biblical balance and compassion from older Christian leaders.

“Young evangelicals are watching and they don’t like what they see,” Rosenberg said during a recent episode of The Rosenberg Report on TBN. “They feel like their elders are being so pro-Israel and ignoring the plight of Palestinians altogether.”

Rosenberg emphasized that showing Christlike compassion for Palestinians does not mean compromising biblical truth.

“We’re supposed to love our neighbor… we’re supposed to love our enemy,” he said. “That means having a heart of compassion for the lost sheep of Gaza, not just the lost sheep of Israel.”

He also noted that many Christian schools are failing to teach the full biblical narrative regarding Israel, and warned that some young people have never truly come to faith in Christ.

Unlock the Power of Faith and Walk in the Spirit Every Day

In a message marked by bold conviction and spiritual clarity, prophetic voice Joseph Z delivered a powerful teaching on the distinction between the natural and spiritual realms—and how understanding that difference helps believers navigate prophecy and the prophetic office.

“The spiritual is not first,” Z said, quoting 1 Corinthians 15:46. “But the natural.” He emphasized that many believers mistakenly assume that the spiritual realm precedes the natural in experience or development. But according to the apostle Paul and echoed by Z, it is the natural realm that comes first.

“You wake up in the morning and everything you see is natural,” he said. “Some people wake up in the Holy Ghost… the harp is playing… good morning, Lord. Others wake up like, ‘Good Lord, it’s morning.’”

Despite the humor, Z pressed into a critical principle: spiritual maturity requires moving past our five senses. “The five senses are a part of this soulish area or the veil,” he said. That veil, he explained, is made up of “your mind, your will, your emotions.”

Drawing from Hebrews 5:14, Z reminded listeners that “those who through reason of use, they exercise their senses to discern the difference between good and evil.” In other words, training the senses through faith and use leads to discernment and spiritual growth.

To bridge the divide between the natural and spiritual, Z taught that believers must discipline themselves to align with God’s Word. “What we are moved by is the word of God,” he said. “When you begin to discipline your five senses and bring it under the authority of the word of God, you start to participate in what is in the spirit.”

Z broke down the elements of salvation using the Greek roots for “sozo” and “soteria,” saying, “You’re saved, you’re delivered, you’re preserved, you’re protected, you are prosperous, you are healed, and you are whole.”

In the natural realm, Z said, faith becomes the mechanism to access what’s already complete in the spirit. “Everything you need is right here. Everything is in the spirit. By grace through faith, we receive.”

He then tied this understanding directly to the prophetic: “This is also how prophecy works.”

For Z, prophecy is not a mystical status but a gift and a calling that must be grounded in biblical authority. “Prophets, if you’re craving to be a prophet, you’re probably not called to be one,” he said. “I ran from that. I’m like, ‘No, Jesus. I don’t want to wear the name tag or anything.’”

He also drew a sharp line between those who operate in the gift of prophecy and those who stand in the office of a prophet. “The difference between the gift of prophecy and the office is responsibility,” Z said. “God calls you, Ephesians 4:11 and 12, to edify and build up the body of Christ… to encourage, edify and equip the body.”

Join Charisma Magazine Online to follow everything the Holy Spirit is doing around the world!

Rejecting a culture obsessed with titles, Z added, “I go on TV programs and they’re like, ‘Joseph, should we call you prophet?’ I’m like, ‘How about Joseph? I like that better.’”

At the heart of his message was this: “We’re here to serve the body of Christ.” Whether operating in gifts or standing in the fivefold ministry, Z reminded believers that the goal is not clout, but calling.

“We need to get back to the fundamentals of the word of God,” he said. And for Z, that starts with recognizing the difference between the natural and spiritual, and stepping boldly into the calling God has placed on your life.

Is the New Jerusalem a Pyramid? Perry Stone Offers a Profound Take on Heaven’s Holy City

In a message designed to challenge conventional assumptions and stir biblical curiosity, evangelist Perry Stone may have just upended a long-held belief about the shape of the New Jerusalem.

“I may have changed my mind,” Stone admitted early in his teaching. “What I’m hoping to do is provoke your thinking… this is going to be sort of an interesting study.”

Breaking NewsSpirit-Filled Stories. Subscribe to Charisma on YouTube now!

For decades, most Bible teachers and prophecy scholars have accepted the idea that the New Jerusalem, described in Revelation 21, is shaped like a cube—1,500 miles wide, long and high. “We have always heard that the New Jerusalem is a cube,” Stone acknowledged. “We do know that it has 12 foundations… actual 12 different types of gemstones.”

Yet Stone raises a compelling challenge. “If it’s a cube and you have one story, two story, three, story, four, then you would have floors every so many hundred miles… Well, that brings you to the idea of, okay, we’ve got to get from the people who live on the 12th floor… to the bottom floor. So, do you have steps? … How can the Lamb light the entire city if you have floors separating?”

Instead of floors layered in a box-like form, Stone suggests another ancient structure might offer a better model: a pyramid.

“What if the New Jerusalem is a pyramid?” he asked. “The foundation is 1,500 miles square, but the top of it goes up 1,500 miles, and the Lamb somehow is situated there and the entire inside of that pyramid is lit.”

The concept, Stone notes, is not just spatially plausible, but symbolically potent. “A pyramid is one of the oldest known structures in the world,” he explained. “The pyramids that have been found around the world and the ones found in Egypt were believed to have been assisted in their building by giants… actually were… a concept of the fallen angels.”

According to Stone, the idea of fallen angels constructing pyramids fits within the broader biblical narrative. “You do know that in the time of Noah and before, fallen angels were on the earth.”

Get your FREE CHARISMA NEWSLETTERS today! Stay up-to-date with current issues, Holy Spirit news, Christian teachings, Charisma videos & more!

He continued, “According to historians, the Great Pyramid of Giza was once covered with white. And when the sun hit it, it would literally glow.” Even more intriguing: “The outer pyramid of Giza, the Great Pyramid, had 144,000 polished stones according to people who specialize in pyramid studies. Remember, there’s 144,000 Jews. See, all this comes into play.”

Stone draws attention to what he sees as spiritual symbolism in the missing capstone of the Great Pyramid in Egypt. “The capstone is missing on the Great Pyramid of Egypt. But the New Jerusalem would have the capstone.”

Despite the speculation, Stone made clear the shape is not the point of contention—it’s the meaning behind it. “Now does it make a difference? No, ’cause I’m going there, Lord willing, and you’re going there. So, we’ll all find out one day.”

Join Charisma Magazine Online to follow everything the Holy Spirit is doing around the world!

Above all, Stone used the teaching as a call for deeper reflection. “There’s no sense in arguing and debating and splitting hairs over is it square or is it a pyramid? I share this because I like to do this sometimes to provoke your thinking and to make you say, ‘Okay, if it is, let’s look at history. Let’s look at pyramids. Let’s look at this and is this possible?’”

But for Stone, the true takeaway remains unchanged, “You need to know your relationship with Jesus Christ is up-to-date. You need to know that your name is written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.”

Whether cube or pyramid, the New Jerusalem is less about geometry and more about the glory of God, and Perry Stone wants believers to keep their eyes on the eternal rather than the architectural.

Jerusalem, Pentecost and the Last Days: A Shocking Prophetic Connection

In a powerful Pentecost 2025 message, Messianic rabbi and bestselling author Jonathan Cahn declared that the restoration of Jerusalem in 1967 was not only a historic military victory but a fulfillment of biblical prophecy that continues to unfold today.

“The restoration of Jerusalem was an end-time prophetic event,” Cahn said. “Israel could never be complete without Jerusalem. And yet the world said, ‘No, Jerusalem does not belong to you.’ God said otherwise.”

Breaking NewsSpirit-Filled Stories. Subscribe to Charisma on YouTube now!

Cahn opened the message by reading from Ezekiel 37, which speaks of dry bones being brought back to life: “I prophesied as I was commanded, and behold there’s a loud noise… and the bones started coming together, bone to bone… but there was no breath in them. Then He said to me, ‘Prophesy to the breath… breathe on these slain so that they might come to life.’”

He emphasized this was a direct reference to the resurrection of the nation of Israel, which he said began in 1948 but reached a major milestone on June 7, 1967, when Jerusalem was restored to Jewish hands.

“June 7th, 1967,” he said, “the restoration of Jerusalem was an end-time prophetic event.”

Cahn recounted dramatic firsthand testimonies from Israeli soldiers who took the Temple Mount and Western Wall during the Six-Day War. Commander Motta Gur famously declared over the radio: “The Temple Mount is in our hands.”

General Uzi Narkiss, overwhelmed at the Western Wall, said, “The wall was before us… I bowed my head in silence.” Defense Minister Moshe Dayan added, “We have returned to all that is holy in our land. We have returned never to be parted from it again.”

Chief of Staff Yitzhak Rabin, who would later become prime minister, said, “I felt truly shaken. I stood there murmuring a prayer for peace… they had an overwhelming desire to cling to the wall.”

Rabbi Shlomo Goren, chaplain of the IDF, sounded the shofar from both the Temple Mount and Western Wall: “I am speaking to you from the plaza of the Western Wall, the remnant of our holy temple. Comfort my people, comfort them, says the Lord your God. This is the day we have hoped for.”

Cahn described the moment as the fulfillment of Psalm 137:5, referencing the generational vow: “If I forget thee, oh Jerusalem, may my right hand forget its cunning.”

He linked the restoration of Jerusalem to the prophetic outpouring of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost, saying, “Jerusalem was the city of God’s presence, His dwelling, His glory, and the city where God pours out His Holy Spirit. The city of Pentecost. The city of the Spirit.”

Cahn also noted a global spiritual parallel: “The Jewish people begin returning to their inheritance… and at the same time, it appears the church… is returning to the Spirit.”

He connected the rise of Zionism with the Azusa Street Revival and the Six-Day War with the Jesus Movement, which birthed contemporary Christian worship and Messianic Jewish revival.

“It’s not that they tried to do it. God did it,” he said.

King Charles Helping Set the Stage for Antichrist’s Kingdom

Pastor Billy Crone of Get A Life Ministries is making waves again with his latest warnings about King Charles and the rise of a global government system he says directly aligns with the prophetic structure of Revelation 17.

In a recent interview with Mondo Gonzales on Prophecy Watchers, Crone issued a sobering assessment of King Charles’ involvement in the Great Reset, a term popularized by World Economic Forum founder Klaus Schwab. But according to Crone, “Most people don’t realize, Mondo, that King Charles—not Klaus Schwab—King Charles is the one who announced the Great Reset.”

“He’s also been labeled as the king of the new world order,” Crone said. “So, this guy is in the thick of it.”

Crone made it clear that he does not believe King Charles is the Antichrist.

“You’re not saying he’s the Antichrist, because he’s been a candidate for a long time. So, just so we’re clear, you’re not saying he’s Antichrist” said Gonzales.

Crone replied, “Exactly. Yeah. Because he’s a part of that.”

King Charles and the 10-Kingdom Prophecy

What Crone does allege is that Charles is openly promoting and laying the groundwork for the system the Antichrist will one day inherit. He cited a speech where Charles declared the need to mobilize global resources. “He’s speaking at a climate conference… and he’s all of a sudden starts talking about we need to make sure that this guy, he has everything he needs at his disposal. And we’re going like, who’s he?”

Crone believes Charles’ statement echoes the prophetic model found in Scripture. “Revelation 17 says the planet’s going to be split up into 10 kings… and they hand it over to the beast, the Antichrist. And so he’s literally talking about that.”

“The Paid Smoke Screen” and the Power of the Commonwealth

Crone didn’t stop at policy and speeches. He called out what he described as a widespread deception about the royal family’s motives. “This guy and his family for generations are involved in some really sick twisted behavior,” he said. “These people are not innocent. Again, it’s the paid smoke screen.”

He warned against assuming the British monarchy is merely ceremonial. “He is in charge of what’s called the Commonwealth of Nations,” Crone said. “Fifty-six around the planet are technically under their bidding. It’s a huge chunk of the planet that this guy is in charge of.”

Climate Crisis, Weather Weapons and a Depopulation Agenda

Crone also took aim at global climate policy, calling it a financial and spiritual trap. “They’re going to make trillions, not billions, trillions of dollars,” he warned. “This is the global scare that they have come up with to scare people to go along with their taking over the planet, the Great Reset.”

He alleged that environmental disasters may be orchestrated for deception. “They said it was almost like it was steered,” Crone said of recent storms reported by Australian contacts. “This technology is old hat and it’s not a conspiracy theory.”

Join Charisma Magazine Online to follow everything the Holy Spirit is doing around the world!

Crone says the motive is clear: “You’ve got to let us control the planet. Split it up into 10 chunks. Look at these earthquakes that are happening, the fires… They’re doing it. They’re creating the chaos, not because it’s true, but they’re creating it. That’s the lie.”

One of the most chilling claims from Crone was about the deeper agenda behind all of it. “He’s all in on that as well as the depopulation aspect. He’s big on that with Bill Gates. [He] believes that we need to annihilate a big chunk of the planet.”

Crone’s words serve as a warning—not of who the Antichrist is, but of the global infrastructure that is being prepared for his arrival. “He is not just some innocent royal guy who’s kind of fuddy-duddy… No, this guy is up to no good and he is preparing the system for the Antichrist,” Crone said.

Pope Leo XIV Issues a Prophetic Warning About AI’s Global Disruption

Pope Leo XIV may have ushered in a new papacy, but his choice of name and first major statements suggest he is looking backward—to Pope Leo XIII—and forward to a possible future upheaval on par with the Industrial Revolution.

And what’s fueling this disruption? Artificial intelligence.

As Catholic commentator Brian Holdsworth recently explained, the newly elected pope “has stated that the reason he took that name was because he is anticipating a similar massive disruption coming our way that could dramatically shape our way of life, our political, economic, social and moral order.”

Breaking NewsSpirit-Filled Stories. Subscribe to Charisma on YouTube now!

Holdsworth likened the moment to the 19th-century societal shift that prompted Leo XIII to pen Rerum Novarum, the Catholic Church’s foundational document on social teaching. That encyclical was a moral response to the industrial capitalist upheaval and called for protections for the working class, including “just wages, reasonable rest and humane working conditions.”

Pope Leo XIV’s concern today is not machinery or steam engines—it’s machine learning and automation.

“He thinks that AI is going to have a similar effect to the industrial revolution, one that has the potential to completely reshape our way of life so dramatically that it will be unrecognizable to the past,” Holdsworth said.

According to Holdsworth, this isn’t just speculation—it’s a warning grounded in credible fears from those within the tech elite. He cited a conversation shared by investor Paul Tudor Jones, who attended a high-level AI forum.

“He said that they all admitted that the competitive dynamic between the various tech companies and the geopolitical rivals of the United States like Russia and China was so intense that nobody is taking a step back and evaluating the question of the ethical implications,” Holdsworth reported.

The consequences of that race could be catastrophic. “He then said that he believes it will take a catastrophe, something like a 100 million deaths before we learn our lesson about this,” Holdsworth quoted Jones as saying.

Even more sobering, when forum participants were asked to agree or disagree with the proposition that there is a “10% chance in the next 20 years that AI will contribute to the death of 50% of humanity,” Holdsworth noted, “all four modelers, the heads of these leading AI companies said they agree with that statement.”

Pope Leo XIV’s implied call for a new Rerum Novarum, a spiritual and moral framework to confront AI, may prove prophetic, or even providential.

“For my part, I don’t think some sound moral and spiritual diagnosis and prescription can come soon enough,” Holdsworth said. “And for the rest of us, I think we just need to be preparing ourselves for whatever comes next.”

Babylon Is Rising, and Bible Prophecy Is Coming Alive

Is the ancient city of Babylon merely a metaphor—or is it rising again, just as Scripture foretold? Pastor James Kaddis and Dr. Andy Woods believe the answer is crystal clear: Babylon is literal, and the groundwork for its prophetic future is already being laid in modern-day Iraq.

In a recent episode of Countdown to Eternity, Kaddis and Woods pushed back against the view that Babylon in Revelation is purely symbolic or represents Rome. Instead, they argue, the city described in Revelation 17 and 18 aligns with the ancient site in Iraq—and current global developments point to a coming fulfillment.

Breaking NewsSpirit-Filled Stories. Subscribe to Charisma on YouTube now!

“There’s a general rule in the book of Revelation that whenever it mentions places of geography, it’s always literal,” said Woods. “All of a sudden we get to Revelation 17 and 18 and people see the word Babylon, and all of a sudden that piece of geography is non-literal. That’s kind of crazy.”

The pair highlighted a striking development: a $4.7 billion port project in southern Iraq is ahead of schedule and expected to transform the region into a major international trade hub. Woods explained the significance of this shift: “This whole canal system… is going to turn this landlocked city into a maritime city, exactly the way the Bible describes it.”

They also addressed the common confusion over the phrase “Mystery Babylon,” which Kaddis called a mistranslation. “Mystery Babylon is a myth,” Woods said. “There’s no such thing in the Bible as Mystery Babylon. Her title is Babylon the Great.”

Both men warned against spiritualizing the text and stripping it of its geographical meaning. “You look at Revelation, there’s clear predictions about what is going to happen,” said Kaddis. “We really do have no reason to believe anything other than that. Babylon is Babylon.”

Join Charisma Magazine Online to follow everything the Holy Spirit is doing around the world!

With prophecy seemingly unfolding, Kaddis closed the discussion with a call to urgency. “If this is true and these are all signs for the tribulation period, then the rapture can’t be far away.”

As global events catch up with biblical prophecy, Bible believers should take God’s Word literally, and be ready to see a revived Babylon rise from the ashes.

Invisible Armies and Prophetic Shadows: Are Drone Swarms a Glimpse of Revelation?

Imagine a weapon so small it could rest on your shoulder like a fly—yet powerful enough to kill, infect or spy without you ever noticing. This isn’t science fiction. It’s today’s reality.

Nations like China and Russia are actively developing micro drones—autonomous machines equipped with artificial intelligence, facial recognition and even pathogen delivery systems. Futurist and tech adviser Tracy Follows told The Sun these drones could “hone in on you just by picking up your digital footprint,” meaning your phone data or online activity could make you a target.

Breaking NewsSpirit-Filled Stories. Subscribe to Charisma on YouTube now!

Worse still, she warned these insect-sized drones may soon operate entirely without human control, scanning and attacking individuals based solely on algorithmic decisions. “No trigger finger required, just an algorithm,” she said. These drones could carry not just bullets, but viruses—engineered for silent, invisible warfare.

A recent Newsweek report detailed China’s new military mothership drone platform, Jiu Tian, which can deploy up to 100 armed drones midair. Designed for long-range strikes and electronic warfare, it marks a seismic shift in battlefield strategy and global power projection.

But what if these terrifying innovations are just a technological shadow of an ancient biblical warning?

Revelation 9 describes locusts rising from smoke, with “power… like the scorpions of the earth.” They torment, they fly and they resemble “horses prepared for battle.” Their wings roar like chariots in combat. These aren’t natural creatures—they’re militarized, intelligent agents of judgment.

We’re not in Revelation 9 yet—but we’re watching its infrastructure take shape.

Surveillance is no longer a conspiracy theory; it’s commerce. Phones record, devices analyze and AI learns. Follows even referenced neuro warfare—a chilling future where cognitive AI may influence thoughts and implant false memories.

And in this age of deception, many churches still teach that Revelation’s judgments were fulfilled in A.D. 70. But ignoring the prophetic signs playing out today leaves believers vulnerable and spiritually asleep.

Jesus warned, “Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord will come” (Matt. 24:42).

Now is the time to stay alert. To pray. To anchor in the Word of God. Because the world is racing toward a moment when the skies won’t just hold clouds—but locusts of war.

And only those grounded in truth will endure.

Supernatural Events Are Now Rising, And the Bible Warned Us

For decades, Dr. James B. De Young taught the New Testament and the Book of Revelation at Western Seminary. Now, he says the spiritual encounters described in Scripture are not just historical records—they’re happening across the globe, every day.

Appearing on Prophecy Watchers, De Young discussed his book Supernatural Encounters: Divine and Demonic, which highlights both biblical and modern experiences with spiritual forces.

“My purpose was to update the fact that the Bible relates to us supernatural encounters truly from beginning to end,” he said. “But it doesn’t stop there.”

Breaking NewsSpirit-Filled Stories. Subscribe to Charisma on YouTube now!

According to De Young, the growing fascination with the paranormal in mainstream culture is no coincidence. He points to events like the 2023 Hamas attack on Israel as not just political or military actions, but as deeply spiritual events rooted in ancient demonic strongholds.

“It turns out that that place of Gaza throughout biblical history… has been a hotbed of demonic activity,” he said. “So it’s not surprising that Hamas and the terrorists… are being motivated by satanic and evil desires.”

De Young emphasizes the biblical reality of spiritual warfare.

“Those principalities, powers, rulers of darkness in heavenly places that we read about are not just academic,” he said. “They’re active.” Drawing from Ephesians and Daniel, he warns that spiritual forces are influencing world leaders, and that “Satan and all of his fallen angels are here all over the world trying to turn the world against God.”

He also highlights the danger of occult involvement among youth.

“It is said of teenagers that 73% of them have been involved in some form of the occult,” De Young stated.

From witchcraft to divination, many find themselves trapped in deeper levels of bondage. But deliverance is still possible through the name of Jesus Christ.

“He’s greater than Satan, greater than the demons,” De Young said.

From the rapture of Enoch to Paul’s confrontation with demonic culture in Acts, De Young urges believers to understand that Scripture isn’t abstract theology—it’s a supernatural record of divine intervention and spiritual conflict that continues to this day.

“It brought the Bible right up here where I say, ‘Wow, I’ve experienced some of these things myself,’” said host Gary Stearman. “You bring a kind of reality to the Bible that I think we need to see.”

As De Young warns, the battle isn’t just spiritual—it’s real, it’s personal and it’s escalating.
