Pastor Todd Mullins Reveals the Hidden Purpose Behind Your Struggles

When Pastor Todd Mullins first stepped into leadership at Christ Fellowship Church, he carried a heavy sense of inadequacy. Surrounded by spiritual giants like John Maxwell and Reinhard Bonnke in the congregation, he found himself battling fear and self-doubt.

“I was praying and bringing all my fears to God in that season, my insecurities like, I don’t think I can do this, God. I don’t have what it takes,” Mullins recalls on the Rich Wilkerson Jr. podcast.

But instead of receiving a comforting affirmation from God, Mullins heard something unexpected. “What I got from the Lord was, yeah, you don’t have what it takes and you’re not enough.”

Initially stunned, Mullins soon realized the grace in God’s words. “The Holy Spirit said, ‘But I am enough. You don’t have what it takes, but I have what you need.'”

This pivotal moment shaped what would later become a life message, encapsulated in his book, Don’t Let Doubt Take You Out.

“If we learn to leverage that self-doubt and that question that comes up, it can actually be the benefit of doubt—it keeps us dependent… the benefit of doubt is that it keeps us desperate for God,” Mullins says.

Although he grew up in a supportive, faith-filled home, Mullins says certain experiences left scars that triggered long-standing insecurities. “There were things that happened to me when I was a kid—not from home but from school… things that were said over me that I just carried with me my whole life.”

He explains how moments of uncertainty can lead to “lifelong insecurity if we’re not careful to deal with those situations.”

Mullins now counsels high-level leaders, many of whom are wildly successful yet still plagued by doubt. “They still struggle with, ‘Am I good enough as a father? I don’t know that I’m doing right for my marriage. I don’t know that I’m living up to the expectations.'” The point, he says, is universal: “All of us deal with self-doubt at some stage.”

Instead of allowing that doubt to disqualify us, Mullins encourages believers to see it as a signal—a spiritual dashboard warning light. “If you actually pay attention to it, you can actually deal with it before it takes you out.”

Leadership for Mullins has also meant cultivating emotional discipline. “I’ve had to learn how to take control of that and not let that control me… not let my fears or my worries or my anxiety… control who I am…I talk to myself a lot… just telling my soul what to think, reminding my soul of the Scriptures.”

Ultimately, Todd Mullins believes overcoming doubt isn’t about developing more confidence in ourselves, but in God. “We walk through life with a sense of ‘Godfidence’—not a confidence in me but a God-confidence… The truest thing about you is what God said about you.”

Is God’s Judgment Coming for the Prophetic? Here’s What You Need to Know

Is it possible that the prophetic movement just may need a bit of refining fire?

In an exclusive interview with Charisma Media, Rabbi Kirt Schneider discussed the spiritual judgment that may be coming for some of God’s faith leaders concerning today’s false prophecies.

Breaking NewsSpirit-Filled Stories. Subscribe to Charisma on YouTube now!

“All you’ve got to do today is go get a business card and ‘you’re a prophet,'” Schneider says. “We need the fear of the Lord in us. If we’re going to be saying, ‘Thus saith the Lord,’ we better be sure it was the Lord.”

Schneider points out that respect for the Lord and His holiness and Word is of the utmost importance for us today.

“The emphasis on grace today is too extreme, so we’ve got all these people that supposedly are prophets, that they’re calling themselves prophets, the church is calling prophets, and they seem to prophesy over and over again things that don’t come to pass,” Schneider says.

Rabbi Kirt Schneider’s sobering words are a wake-up call to the body of Christ—especially those within the prophetic movement. His warning highlights the need for deeper reverence, accountability and alignment with the true fear of the Lord. When prophetic voices speak without divine backing, the result can be spiritual confusion and disillusionment within the church.

Is Swearing a Sin? What Scripture Actually Reveals

Is it truly a sin to cuss?

During a livestream question-and-answer time, Isaiah Saldivar answered perhaps one of the most controversial questions that Christians ask: Is it a sin to use profanity?

“Yes, it’s a sin,” says Saldivar. “No matter what way you try to get around the cussing argument, cussing is a sin because the Bible says ‘Do not let any corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth.'”

“The Bible says says you’ll be judged on every idle word. The Bible says ‘how can pure water and salt water come out of the same stream?'” he continues.

Rather than justifying coarse language, Saldivar challenges believers to pursue purity in speech as a sign of spiritual maturity and reverence for God.

Is Your Faith Missing the Most Important Part? Find Out What It Is!

It’s easy to lose sight of the one thing that truly matters most: seeking first the kingdom of God and His righteousness.

Jesus promised that “all these things will be added to you” (Matt. 6:33) if we simply prioritize Him. Yet, so often we strive to figure life out on our own—what degree to pursue, what job to take, what steps to follow—when God is calling us back to the simplicity of seeking Him.

In a recent message to the Remnant Revival Outreach Center, Richard Lorenzo Jr. reminded listeners of the power and priority of truly seeking God.

Lorenzo passionately shares, “Through the process of seeking Him, the Holy Spirit will start showing you steps. Get this degree. Get this technical degree. Get this CDL. Get this barber license.”

He also acknowledged that we won’t always get it right. Sometimes we’ll think we’ve heard from God and we haven’t. In those moments, we return to the secret place and ask, “Lord, where did I miss it?” And He reveals our heart—showing us where our desires got in the way of hearing His voice.

To order Richard Lorenzo Jr.’s new book, What’s the Purpose of Life? visit Amazon.com.

God isn’t just trying to direct us—He’s preparing us. He wants to purify our hearts so that nothing hinders our communication with Him. Sometimes we suffer because of our own rebellion and other times it’s because God is trying to turn us into the person He wants us to become.

Lorenzo explained that when that refining is complete, there comes a moment where God says, “Now it’s time,” and He exalts you—just as He did with prophets and apostles throughout Scripture.

Importantly, Lorenzo called out the fear and obsession many Christians have with the demonic. “The devil’s under our feet,” he declares. “We beat him through Christ.” Instead of fearing demons, he urged believers to keep their focus on Jesus and walk in the authority He’s already given us. When the gospel is preached, demons tremble—not because of us, but because of Jesus.

This brings us to what Lorenzo described as the most important message of all: the gospel of Jesus Christ. “There are many gospels,” he said, “but there’s only one gospel that brings salvation.”

“It’s the good news of what Jesus Christ did. Not our birthdays, not us, not the gospel of deliverance, not the gospel of healing, not the gospel of whatever. The gospel of Jesus Christ is the only gospel that brings salvation,” says Lorenzo.

“The gospel should lead you to relationship,” Lorenzo says. “That’s what the good news is—you can be in relationship with your Creator.” That’s the purpose of life. That’s the message the world needs to hear now more than ever.

So ask yourself today: Am I seeking results, or am I seeking Jesus? Have I heard the gospel, or has the gospel changed me?

Seek Him—and everything else will follow.

Newness, Favor and Fresh Anointing: John Eckhardt’s Stunning Word for May

As we step into the month of May, there’s a stirring in the Spirit—a call to awaken to the beauty and freshness of a new season.

Drawing from the rich imagery of Song of Solomon 2:12, Apostle John Eckhardt shares a prophetic word that speaks directly to the heart: “The flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing of birds has come, and the voice of the turtle dove is heard in our land.”

This verse paints a picture of divine renewal. Eckhardt reflects, “Flowers are a very powerful symbol of newness, a freshness, a blooming, a blossoming, a beauty.” They aren’t just signs of spring; they represent the spiritual awakening God desires to bring into our lives.

“It’s a symbol of the spring, a new season,” he adds.

May, often associated with blooming flowers and Mother’s Day, should act for believers as a prophetic signpost for what God wants to do.

Eckhardt reminds us that after the rains of April, flowers begin to bloom—a natural parable of spiritual truth. “The rains of April prepare the soil for flowers to come in the month of May.” Just as the earth responds to the changing season, our spirits are being invited to respond to God’s call to renewal.

The sons of birds chirping in the spring, which are often overlooked, carries deep significance. “Bird song… is cheerful and uplifting,” Eckhardt says. “When I hear them singing, it’s a symbol of renewal, a symbol of something new coming forth.” And the gentle coo of the turtle dove? A symbol of “faithful and enduring love… peace and tranquility.” God is not only bringing beauty, but also His faithful presence into every area of life.

This prophetic moment isn’t just about observing nature—it’s a call to action. Eckhardt declares, “Believe God for newness, believe God for freshness… in your ministry, your business, your finances, your relationships.” Let go of the old. “Don’t be stuck in the past. God gives you beauty for ashes.”

Rabbi Schneider Reveals the Lost Secret to Deepening Your Faith

Just because most of us do not dive into Torah law does not mean it isn’t applicable to our lives today.

Rabbi Schneider, in his series Decoding the Torah, highlights the profound implications of understanding God’s law for modern believers. While it’s commonly taught that Christians are no longer bound by the Old Testament law, the speaker emphasizes that we can still find incredible value in studying it.

Breaking NewsSpirit-Filled Stories. Subscribe to Charisma on YouTube now!

The Torah, or the first five books of the Bible, contains 613 laws that many may see as irrelevant for New Testament believers. However, Schneider asserts that these laws offer us a unique window into God’s nature and character. While Christians are not under the law in the sense that we are no longer bound by it for salvation, God’s law still reveals His self-revelation, giving us guidance on how to walk in His ways.

Unfortunately, many Christians today are unaware of how the law and grace work together. The modern church often emphasizes “easy grace” and forgiveness, but this can lead to a shallow understanding of the Christian walk.

Schneider points out that without a proper reverence for God’s law, we lose something essential—both the fear of God and the blessing that comes with understanding His principles.

Jesus Himself confirmed the law’s ongoing relevance. In Matthew 5:17, He declared, “I did not come to abolish the law, but to fulfill it.” His death on the cross fulfilled the law’s demands, but He also affirmed that the law remains significant until heaven and earth pass away. Jesus also taught that those who “keep and teach” the commandments will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

The apostle Paul also affirmed the law’s goodness, stating that it is holy, spiritual, righteous and good. The problem, however, lies not with the law itself but with humanity’s inability to keep it. This is where Jesus comes in—He enables believers to walk in God’s ways through the Holy Spirit. By accepting Christ and being born again, we are empowered to live according to God’s law in the Spirit.

Understanding the Torah, as Schneider puts it, is not about legalism but about receiving the spiritual insight that comes from knowing God’s Word. The law, as the first grace, paved the way for the fullness of grace through Jesus Christ. Christians are called to study the Torah, not as a burden, but as a way to draw closer to God and live according to His will.

In rediscovering the wisdom of the Torah, we reconnect with the ancient foundations of our faith and experience deeper blessings in our walk with Christ.

This Is Your Confirmation — Don’t Quit, Keep Trusting God!

Sometimes the storms we face just seem to get bigger and more turbulent. However, there is light at the end of the tunnel.

In a spontaneous and urgent message, Alwyn Uys recently shared an encouraging word for believers facing intense opposition. He emphasized that if you are reading or hearing this, it is no accident—God is reaching out to you today.

Breaking NewsSpirit-Filled Stories. Subscribe to Charisma on YouTube now!

Right now, many are experiencing resistance, often from the people closest to them. This resistance can feel overwhelming, like a wall standing against the very things God has called you to do. Yet the clear word from the Holy Spirit is this: Do not stop. The opposition you face will not last forever.

Drawing from personal experience, Uys shared how stepping into online ministry brought unexpected attacks—skepticism, criticism and even outright hostility. Yet through obedience and perseverance, breakthrough eventually came. Testimonies flooded in, confirming that God was working through his efforts, even when immediate understanding or affirmation was absent.

“He’s not asking that you have it all figured out,” says Uys. “He’s just asking that you do what He has called you to do.”

God is not asking for your full understanding; He is asking for your obedience. You may not always see the full picture, but your role is simply to remain faithful to what He has placed in your heart.

As Uys was praying over this message, a vivid image came to his mind of a ship pressing through a violent storm toward calm waters. This image is a reminder that we have the option to either sink or be strengthened by the Lord. Through these challenges, the opportunity arises to become a person of greater faith and endurance.

If the opposition is coming from friends, family, or even members of your church, choose to forgive. Let go of bitterness. Keep your eyes on Jesus and continue moving forward in your calling. There is a safe harbor ahead.

Just as Katie Souza also predicted at the beginning of 2025 that this would be the year to “battle and build,” we cannot abandon the post, the task at hand that God has given us to be His hands and feet.

““You’ll find that if you’re faithful not to miss a step…then the Lord will breathe on that project. He will extend your tent pegs greatly. He will enlarge you. He will enlarge you in influence, in power, in authority in every area if you respond quickly and immediately to every prompting that you’re going to be receiving from the Holy Spirit,” Souza prophesied.

Whatever you are going through today, hear the Spirit’s urging: Don’t stop now. There is purpose in your storm. On the other side, you will see the fruit of your perseverance. Remember, breakthrough truly is on the way.

Think You’re Wearing the Armor of God? You Might Be Missing This Crucial Step

Spiritual warfare is real, and the Bible makes it clear that we are engaged in a battle not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of evil (Eph. 6:10–18). God doesn’t leave us defenseless—He has provided His full armor to equip us. But how do we know if we’re truly wearing it?

In a new video, Vlad Savchuk provides a key outline so you can take inventory of your spiritual walk and see what parts of the full armor of God you may or may not be wearing properly.

First, standing in truth is essential. The belt of truth holds all the other pieces of armor together. Are you aligning your thoughts, words and actions with God’s Word? Are you rejecting lies and living a life of integrity? Without a commitment to truth, your entire spiritual defense is compromised.

To order Vlad Savchuk’s new book, Make the Devil Homeless, visit Amazon.com.

Second, check your heart. The breastplate of righteousness protects your inner life. This isn’t just the righteousness Christ gives us at salvation—it’s also about pursuing a lifestyle of obedience. Are you quick to repent when you stumble? Are you resisting compromise? If not, you leave your heart exposed to the enemy’s attacks.

Third, examine your walk. The shoes of the gospel of peace help you move forward without stumbling. Are you at peace with God and others? Are you ready to share the gospel when opportunities arise? A lack of peace makes the Christian walk painful and ineffective, especially in seasons of trial.

Breaking NewsSpirit-Filled Stories. Subscribe to Charisma on YouTube now!

Next comes the shield of faith. Faith is what blocks the enemy’s fiery darts—those thoughts of fear, doubt, and discouragement. Are you actively trusting God’s promises even when circumstances seem bleak? Faith isn’t denial of reality; it’s standing on God’s Word above what you see.

The helmet of salvation protects your mind. Are you renewing your thoughts with the truth of who you are in Christ? Or are you wearing a “hat” of shame and condemnation instead of a helmet of salvation? Your identity as a child of God must be firmly guarded.

Then there’s the sword of the Spirit, the Word of God. It’s not enough to own a Bible—you must know it, speak it, and declare it over your life and battles. God’s Word is your offensive weapon against the enemy’s lies.

Finally, Paul urges us to pray at all times in the Spirit. Prayer activates the armor. Prayer is where battles are won, strength is renewed and divine strategies are received.

Remember, the armor of God is not to help you win a victory—the victory is already won through Jesus. Your job is to stand firm in it. Ephesians 6 doesn’t say to conquer, it says to stand. Even in the darkest “evil day,” when spiritual attacks are intense, your armor will allow you to withstand and remain unshaken.

Stay in God’s Word, live a life of prayer, walk in peace, pursue righteousness and trust in the finished work of Christ. Jesus already declared that it is finished, and so we can rest assured knowing that the Lord has already paid for in full all the healing, hope and deliverance we will ever need.

75 Years Later, He Finally Receives the Unthinkable!

God is faithful to answer every single one of our prayers. All He asks is that we seek Him with our hearts.

What may be perhaps one of the biggest answers to prayer, a gentleman named Thomas, and his wife, visited Kathryn Krick’s Five-Fold Church, where they received the anointing of the Holy Spirit after genuinely seeking how they can impact the next generation for Christ.

“I have waited 75 years for this,” he says, “All my life, I’ve been searching for anointing. We have been searching, not just me. We have been searching for anointing and breakthrough…what is the best way my wife and I can receive and flow in the anointing together as seniors in our seventies to lead and model the younger members of the revival army?”

Krick invited the couple on stage when she encouraged them in their desire to go and make disciples, releasing the anointing upon them.

“I release this anointing upon you now. May this power of God fill you. May people be attracted to you everywhere you go. And may they discover Jesus in his fullness through you. Thank you Jesus,” Krick prays.

She also thanked the couple for supporting her ministry, sharing how touching it truly is to have elders standing in agreement with her ministry.

“There haven’t been many elders who have who have supported me and supported this move,” Krick says. “I want to thank you so much. It means the world. It blesses me so much, and I feel the love of God for you as elders in the body of Christ to stand with me, to stand with this move of God.”

Divine Judgment or Blessing? Jonathan Cahn Exposes the Critical Choice Ahead

Could history hold the key to us receiving either a divine blessing or judgment?

Throughout history, nations have risen and fallen based on their treatment of Israel, a principle rooted in the Abrahamic Covenant. As Jonathan Cahn emphasizes, God’s promise to Abraham, “I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse those who curse you” (Gen. 12:3), has determined the fate of empires from Egypt to America.

In his teachings, Cahn highlights how the destiny of nations is tied to their relationship with Israel. As we witness the changing tides in world politics, this timeless truth remains as relevant today as it ever has been.

Breaking NewsSpirit-Filled Stories. Subscribe to Charisma on YouTube now!

The Fate of Nations in History

Consider Egypt, once the most powerful empire in the world. At the time of the Exodus, Pharaoh enslaved and oppressed the Israelites, and in turn, Egypt’s glory collapsed. By 1200 B.C., as Jonathan Cahn notes, the Egyptian Empire lost its foreign territories and would never regain its former power. The same pattern is seen with the mighty Assyrian Empire, which sought to destroy the northern kingdom of Israel. Cahn points out that, just as Assyria wiped out the northern kingdom, it was eventually destroyed by a coalition of nations in 612 B.C. This historical principle of divine judgment is repeated throughout time. Similarly, Nazi Germany, which orchestrated the Holocaust, met its demise after the war, with the country left in ruins.

The pattern is clear: nations that have sought to harm or oppress the Jewish people have faced severe consequences. Conversely, nations that have supported Israel have been blessed. Cahn points to America’s long history of blessing Israel, especially during the late 19th and early 20th centuries, when Jewish refugees found refuge in the United States. In return, America became a world power—both economically and militarily.

America’s Turning Point

Cahn warns that America is facing a critical juncture. Recently, there has been a noticeable shift in America’s stance toward Israel. The attempt to divide Jerusalem during the Clinton administration, followed by the 9/11 attacks, marked a turning point in America’s relationship with Israel. Cahn emphasizes that as America moves away from its biblical foundations and its historic support for Israel, the potential for divine judgment is real. As America turns from God and from Israel, it risks the same fate as other empires that have faced divine judgment, a theme Cahn repeatedly explores in his writings and sermons.

A Call for Revival

The survival of Israel is a testimony to God’s faithfulness. As Jonathan Cahn often reminds us, despite attempts by powerful empires to destroy the Jewish people, Israel remains. This is because the God of Israel lives, and His promises endure. As Christians, we must heed the lessons of history that Cahn highlights, understanding that our nation’s blessings are tied to how we honor Israel.

As we stand with Israel, we stand with God. May we not forget the words of the Abrahamic Covenant and the profound impact they have on the nations today. America’s future depends on its relationship with Israel, and only by returning to God and supporting Israel can we hope to see God’s blessings continue.
