The early Friday approval followed Thursday comments by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in which he indicated that he wanted Israel to control Gaza, from which Hamas terrorists emerged on Oct. 7, 2023, to slaughter and kidnap Israeli civilians.

The plan, as approved, calls for a victory over Hamas and providing aid to civilians “outside the combat zones,” according to a statement from Netanyahu’s office.

Opposition Leader Yair Lapid called the decision “a disaster that will lead to many more disasters,” according to the Times of Israel, adding that the decision is a “complete contradiction to the opinion of the military and security ranks.”

The future of Gaza has provoked sharp words between Netanyahu and President Donald Trump, according to NBC, which quoted sources as saying Trump shouted at Netanyahu during a call.

NBC’s report said the call came last month after Trump contradicted Netanyahu’s claim that there was no hunger in Gaza.

According to NBC’s unnamed sources, Netanyahu said Hamas was fabricating atrocious stories of hunger.

Trump reportedly then interrupted and told Netanyahu, yelling at one point, that his aides confirmed to him that starvation was taking place in Gaza.

A “former U.S. officials briefed on the call” said, it was “a direct, mostly one-way conversation about the status of humanitarian aid” in which Trump “was doing most of the talking.”

“The U.S. not only feels like the situation is dire, but they own it because of GHF,” the former official said, speaking of the Gaza Humanitarian Fund.

On Tuesday, Trump was asked about Israel occupying Gaza.

“I really can’t say,” he said when asked about a military occupation. “That’s going to be pretty much up to Israel.”

Many of us can recite Philippians 4:13 by heart: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” It’s a favorite for inspirational posters, social media captions and pep talks before big life moments. But according to Pastor Mike Signorelli of V1 Church, we’ve been missing the deeper truth, and when you see it, it’s even more encouraging.

“I know you’ve been quoting it for so many years, but you have interpreted it wrong,” Signorelli said in a recent video. “Here’s the good news. I’m going to open up the scriptures and show you what Philippians 4:13 really means.”

The problem, he explained, is that we often “divorce it from the larger context” and apply it to our personal ambitions, even those outside God’s will. “We have become so individualistic that we take these verses to endorse our own selfish ambition,” he said. “Like God is not going to divinely give you strength to do something outside of His divine plan.”

Instead, Signorelli pointed to the verses before and after, Philippians 4:12 and 4:14, where the apostle Paul talks about knowing how to be “brought low” and how to “abound,” having “learned the secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance and need.”

“When you see that, it completely changes the meaning,” Signorelli said. “The reality is as a Christian we face all of the above… In all of those things I can do it through Christ Jesus.”

For him, this isn’t a verse about limitless human potential, it’s about supernatural strength to walk through every season of life with Christ. “When I’m on the mountaintop or I’m in the valley, He’s with me in both of those situations,” he said. “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me in the cancer diagnosis and in the report that the cancer was healed… when I get the job, when I get fired from the job… whether I’m up or down, in or out, no matter what the circumstance, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

This understanding protects believers from disappointment and disillusionment. “Part of the reason why people deconstruct from Christianity is because we’ve actually eliminated the context,” Signorelli said. When hard times come, some think, ‘Wait a second, this is incompatible, I should only be in abundance.’ But in reality, Paul was teaching that Christ’s strength is there in both abundance and need.

So the next time you say Philippians 4:13, remember what it’s really promising, not a free pass to chase anything you want, but the unshakable presence of Jesus in every high and low.

The threat of global anti-Semitism is reaching alarming new levels, with one well-known Israeli tech leader warning that a large-scale, coordinated attack on Jews could be imminent. As incidents of anti-Jewish hatred surge worldwide, fears are mounting that hostility toward Israel and its people is moving far beyond political disagreement into something far more dangerous.

On a recent episode of The Hot Zone, host Chuck Holton discussed a chilling prediction from Israeli commentator Hillel Fuld, who accurately warned of a major event just days before Hamas’ Oct. 7 attack. “On October 5th, 2023, I predicted that something big was about to happen and Israel would be at the center of it,” Fuld said in a Facebook post. Now, Holton reports, Fuld is warning again, this time that “a very large-scale attack on Jews is about to happen. Not harassment, not graffiti. I’m talking about a well-coordinated terrorist attack on a major Jewish location where Jews gather in large numbers.”

Holton underscored the data driving Fuld’s fears. “If you aggregate all of these countries, the number of anti-Semitic incidents reported in these seven countries has gone from a total in 2021 of 9,767 … to 21,620 in 2023 after the war started,” he said, noting that the U.S. alone saw more than 9,300 incidents in 2024—nearly matching the combined total of all seven nations just three years earlier. Fuld has compared the current climate to “Germany, 1935 level anti-Semitism,” warning that it has “reached a point of no return.”

Holton also highlighted massive pro-Palestinian demonstrations across Europe, Australia and North America, pointing to demographic changes that have shifted political policies toward recognizing a Palestinian state. He argued that targeting ordinary Jewish people for the actions of Israel’s government is “foolish” and “counterproductive,” saying, “Terrorism always loses for that very reason because nobody likes a terrorist. Nobody.”

The episode also focused on Hamas’ use of hostages as leverage in the ongoing conflict. Holton described newly released images of two emaciated captives as part of “a deliberate and well-planned sadistic propaganda campaign” aimed at pressuring Israel to meet Hamas’ demands. “None of that food is going to get to your hostages until you agree to end the war,” Holton said, noting the group’s call for far more daily aid shipments than Gaza’s population requires.

Israeli politician Gideon Sa’ar, whose remarks Holton aired, accused Western nations like France, the United Kingdom and Canada of giving a “pure prize for terror” through their policies. He warned that recognizing a Palestinian state would “lead to the assassination of the chances to reach a hostage deal and the ceasefire.”

Holton closed with a sharp critique of the mainstream media, accusing outlets such as The New York Times, Washington Post and Associated Press of suppressing positive coverage of Israel while amplifying narratives that paint the nation in a negative light. “They will not show anything pro-Israel. Anything Israel does good, they won’t show it,” he said.

When believers cultivate intimacy with God in their spirit, it creates an overflow that renews the mind, aligns emotions and strengthens the will. This internal transformation manifests as peace, joy, self-control and other fruit of the Spirit.

Labubu is the latest collectible doll craze sweeping the globe, especially on social media platforms like TikTok. But alongside the excitement, some have raised concerns — is this harmless plush monster actually connected to demonic forces?

What Is Labubu?
As Allie Beth Stuckey explains, Labubu is a “plush monster doll character” inspired by a Hong Kong author and artist Kasing Lung’s fantasy trilogy “The Monsters.” Stuckey describes Labubu as a “mischievous but kind-hearted elf” who causes playful chaos but ultimately has “good intentions.” The dolls became a viral sensation, helped along by celebrities like Dua Lipa and Rihanna, and have grown into a massive collectible trend with PopMart, the Chinese company behind them, raking in hundreds of millions of dollars.

According to Stuckey, “Labubu has become this global collectible craze, with people so obsessed they attend Labubu fashion shows, raves and even Labubu pride events.” But she also notes, “these are adults, not kids — which says something about the cultural moment we’re in.”

The Demonic Allegations
Some critics online have linked Labubu to the ancient Mesopotamian demon Pazuzu due to “similar facial features such as the big eyes and mischievous grin.” Pazuzu was known as a “king of demons of the wind,” who could bring plagues or protection depending on how people invoked him. Stuckey points out that “while Pazuzu was considered evil, people still kept charms of him for protection — and Labubu, despite being innocent, is also a troublemaker in the stories.”

There are even viral TikToks claiming the doll’s eye color changes or that its smile grows larger, with some users attributing personal misfortunes to owning Labubu. One user “burned her Labubu, calling it cursed,” while another “threw the doll away after a near-death experience.” Yet Stuckey questions these stories: “Are these real spiritual encounters or just content designed for views? I don’t know.”

What Does the Bible Say?
Stuckey turns to Scripture for clarity. Citing 1 Corinthians 8:4-6, she says, “Paul makes it clear that idols and objects themselves have no power. ‘An idol is nothing at all in the world,’ and only God has real authority.”

Stuckey warns against superstition, and encourages believers to focus on “worshiping the Creator rather than the creature,” and to “discern cultural influences while standing firm in God’s authority.”

What Should Parents and Christians Do?
While Labubu itself is “not inherently demonic,” Stuckey stresses the importance of cultural discernment. “The obsession with these dolls reflects larger cultural issues — perpetual adolescence, misplaced attachments and social media-fueled addictions.” She advises parents, “It’s your job to set boundaries and teach your kids to avoid these harmful obsessions.”
