On July 1, 2025, a red heifer was sacrificed in Shiloh, Israel, marking the first such event in 2,000 years. Witnessed by a Torah-observant rabbi, this historic moment has drawn worldwide attention for its spiritual and prophetic significance, however, with many divided as to whether or not this can be accepted as the true red heifer ceremony. In a recent interview with Chris Reed, Byron Stinson, who played a central role in orchestrating this event, explained what this sacrifice means for Israel, the Church and the world.

Stinson, a lifelong believer in Jesus, shared his calling to work with Jewish people: “I heard the Lord’s voice at 13, saying He was going to use me with the Jewish people in Israel. A few years later, God opened doors for me to meet top archaeologists in Israel and learn about recent discoveries.” His work includes founding the Father’s House Foundation, sending pastors to Israel and supporting biblical projects such as building access to the stones of Gilgal—historic markers from Joshua’s conquest of the Promised Land.

The red heifer is central to Numbers 19, a ritual of ceremonial cleansing that had not been performed in two millennia. Stinson explained, “Numbers 19 is this very important ceremony that needs to happen… they didn’t think they would ever find the red cows in Israel because they kept failing. We ended up with 21 perfect red heifers, and brought five to Israel as pets under the law.” The preparation and sacrifice required strict adherence to biblical instructions, including the use of fig wood and a priest, or Cohen, from a pure lineage untouched by death.

The red heifers, in essence, represent cleansing from death, pointing to resurrection and the millennial reign of Christ. Stinson said, “This ceremony is not a spiritual ceremony per se. It’s about the physical cleansing of death from our flesh. God, through Jesus, has given us hope for eternal life, but this points to how humanity will be restored physically in the Millennial Reign.” Reed emphasized that while Christians are under grace, they remain responsible to God’s moral law, echoing Stinson’s teaching. “We are no longer under the penalties of the law, but we are still responsible to the moral ordinances of God. The law is holy and perfect.”

The red heifer also had geopolitical ramifications. Stinson revealed that the sacrifice influenced Hamas leader Yaha Sinwar, prompting the Oct. 7, 2023, attacks on Israel: “He wrote a note saying, ‘I’m not waiting anymore. They want to build this temple, and we’ve got to stop them,’” demonstrating how spiritual events can have tangible effects in the natural world.

Beyond its immediate significance, the red heifer points to the restoration and unification of Israel, both Judah and the dispersed northern tribes, and the eventual formation of the “one new man,” uniting Jewish and Gentile believers in Christ. Stinson explained, “For the kingdom of God to come, it needs the 12 tribes back united. God is putting within our spirit the desire to go to Israel and connect with Judah.”

The red heifer’s sacrifice is more than a historical reenactment; it is a prophetic milestone, confirming God’s faithfulness, signaling the building of the Third Temple, and pointing to a future where God’s people—Jew and Gentile alike—will rule and reign under Christ’s millennial kingdom.

The Israel Guys podcast framed Iran’s water shortage within the biblical promise found in Genesis 12:3, where God declares blessings for those who bless Israel and curses for those who curse it. From their perspective, Iran’s ongoing hostility toward Israel, expressed in threats of annihilation and continual aggression, cannot be separated from the nation’s sudden environmental collapse.

Historical and Modern Parallels

Empires throughout history that sought to destroy Israel eventually collapsed. Egypt, Assyria, Babylon, Greece, Rome and the Ottomans all rose to power but ultimately fell.

Modern history follows the same pattern. Britain lost its global dominance after resisting Israel’s rebirth in 1948. Germany was crushed after attempting to eradicate the Jewish people. Arab nations that launched wars against Israel in its early years have been weakened over time, while Israel has only grown stronger.

This pattern clearly shows that the nations opposing Israel decline, while those aligned with Israel experience stability and blessing.

Israel’s Water Success vs. Iran’s Failure

The contrast between Israel and Iran could not be starker. Israel, with fewer natural water resources, has become a world leader in water management. Through desalination, recycling and drip irrigation, it has secured water for its people despite living in a dry region.

Iran, by comparison, has greater natural resources yet now faces nationwide shortages. Decades of poor planning and corruption have left it unprepared, creating a humanitarian crisis for millions. This imbalance reflects both practical mismanagement and the reality of God’s covenant promises.

A Spiritual Reality Behind the Headlines

Iran’s drought goes beyond politics or climate. It represents a spiritual reality in which nations that rise against Israel encounter judgment, while Israel continues to thrive. History testifies to this pattern, and the present crisis in Iran appears to be another example of God’s covenant promises unfolding in real time.

Rather than seeing these events as isolated headlines, they can be understood as part of a larger story: God’s covenant is unshakable, His word does not fail and Israel remains at the center of His unfolding plan.

When the world looks at Israel, many see only conflict, politics and controversy. But according to Rabbi Pesach Wolicki, what’s really happening is much deeper. Behind the headlines is a spiritual reality, God Himself is protecting His covenant people and using Israel to reveal His glory to the nations.

Speaking on Daystar, Wolicki framed Israel’s current struggles in light of biblical prophecy and spiritual warfare. “The only real way to defeat a radical ideology is to actually defeat it,” he said, comparing today’s fight against jihadist Islam to the lessons of World War II. “We sit here and we see us wipe out Hamas, wipe out the Houthis, wipe out Hezbollah, wipe out Iran. But obviously, it’s not us. It’s not because Jews are great athletes. It’s God going before us in battle.”

Israel’s Role in God’s Plan

Wolicki pointed to Scripture to explain Israel’s unique calling. “The purpose of Israel is not Israel,” he said. “God tells Abraham to bring blessing to all the families of the earth. He tells the people of Israel at Sinai to be a kingdom of priests.”

That priestly role, Wolicki explained, is to bring the knowledge of God to the nations. “We’re just pawns in God’s game,” he said. “But that’s what’s happening here. God is winning. God is winning.”

The Covenant and Christian Support

For Wolicki, one of the most important aspects of what’s unfolding is how Christians respond. “Faith-based diplomacy is the name of the game right now,” he said, stressing the need for Christian support of Israel.

He warned against replacement theology, which denies God’s covenant with the Jewish people. “Is God a covenant-keeping God or is He not? That’s the dispute,” he said. “If God doesn’t keep His covenants to Israel, how do you know He’s going to keep His covenants to you?”

America and Israel Standing Together

The renewed bond between the United States and Israel is another key part of the picture. “America rising up to stand with Israel and to support Israel, the Jewish people in the Jewish homeland, is actually an affirmation of the Bible,” Wolicki said. He described this partnership as a testimony that both nations still uphold Judeo-Christian values in a world increasingly hostile to them.

A Spiritual Battle, Not Just Political

Wolicki emphasized that the opposition to Israel is ultimately spiritual. He cited Psalm 83, which describes nations plotting to “deny that the nation of Israel is a nation.” He explained that even modern voices critical of Israel are participating in this ancient rebellion against God’s truth.

“They can’t accept that the Bible is actually true, that God keeps His covenants,” he said. But for Wolicki, the evidence is clear: the survival and victories of Israel testify to the faithfulness of God.

“God is winning,” he repeated, urging viewers to see beyond the politics to the hand of God at work in history.

Spiritual battles aren’t just abstract ideas from the pages of Scripture. They play out in real time, shaping nations, leaders and even the daily struggles of God’s people. The Bible makes it clear that there is a dynamic interplay between earthly rulers and unseen spiritual powers. In Ezekiel 28, we get a striking picture of this conflict that is as relevant today as it was thousands of years ago.

Renowned Bible teacher Derek Prince unpacked this passage in one of his classic teachings, explaining how Ezekiel reveals both human pride and the deeper spiritual forces working behind the scenes. “This revelation brings out the fact that there is an interplay between earthly rulers and heavenly rulers, evil heavenly rulers,” Prince said. “And that brings out the fact that one of the most important things we can do to change the situation is to deal with the evil heavenly rulers.”

The Prince of Tyre: A Lesson in Human Pride

Ezekiel begins by addressing the “prince of Tyre,” a man who exalted himself to the level of God. “Because your heart is lifted up and you say, ‘I’m a god … yet you are a man, and not a god,’” Prince quoted.

This ancient ruler’s downfall was rooted in pride—a warning that still echoes today. “Consistently the Bible warns us more against pride than any problem,” Prince explained. Wealth, success, and wisdom can all become dangerous sources of arrogance when they lift the human heart away from God.

The King of Tyre: Unmasking the Spiritual Power

In the second half of Ezekiel 28, the focus shifts from the human ruler to a figure clearly not of this world: the “king of Tyre.” Prince noted, “It’s very clear from much that’s said he’s not a human being.”

This being had walked in Eden, was adorned with precious stones, and is described as “the anointed cherub who covers.” Prince explained that this role meant covering the throne of God with his wings. In other words, this passage is revealing Lucifer, the fallen angel, in his original splendor before pride led to his rebellion.

“You were perfect in your ways from the day you were created, till iniquity was found in you,” Ezekiel records. Prince added, “Undoubtedly, pride is the most common temptation … and it didn’t start on earth, it started in heaven.”

The Fall of Lucifer

Prince painted a vivid picture of how Lucifer began his rebellion. “By the abundance of your trading you became filled with violence within,” he said, describing how Satan likely sought to gain the allegiance of other angels. “I believe Lucifer went around coveting and obtaining the allegiance of the angels who were under his authority.”

His heart was lifted up because of his beauty and wisdom. In this, we see the origin of sin itself: pride. The very thing that caused Lucifer to fall continues to be the greatest snare for humanity.

The Ongoing Conflict with Christ

But Prince didn’t stop with the fall. He reminded listeners that this conflict directly ties into the battle between Lucifer and Jesus. “When Jesus came to Earth in the form of a man, Lucifer said: now I can get Him,” Prince explained. Satan stirred people against Christ and saw Him crucified, thinking he had won.

“But he was wrong,” Prince declared. “Because at the third day, Jesus came forth, a total victory, Amen.”

That resurrection not only defeated Satan’s schemes in that moment but also secured victory for every believer.

Why This Matters Today

Prince emphasized that this spiritual reality is not just an ancient story. “The same thing is happening right now in the United States of America,” he said, noting that evil spiritual powers continue to influence governments and leaders.

The takeaway is both sobering and encouraging. Though pride and deception still operate, Christ’s resurrection assures believers of victory. We are called to remain alert, resist pride, and stand firm in faith.

As Prince put it, “The conflict is not yet ended because Satan still fights in every way he can against God, the purposes of God, and the people of God.” But because of Christ’s triumph, we can face this conflict with confidence, knowing the final outcome is already secured.

In short, the biblical foundation of marriage and family is seen as a relic by liberal politicians and our popular culture. And yet, the very future of this nation rests on the strength of our marriages and families. If our country is to survive and pull itself out of the current mire, we must learn and draw our strength from the cornerstone on which it was built—the family.

Our nation was formed less than 250 years ago, making it little more than an infant in comparison to the original building block of society. The family has endured for millennia, dating back to the Garden of Eden when, at least 5,000 years ago, our Creator gave it meaning and definition. Sadly, this building block of all societies is under a relentless and vicious attack by leftist groups of all kinds, and they have one mission in mind—to discredit and obliterate it.

The institution of the family is one of the Creator’s most marvelous and enduring gifts to humankind. It was revealed to Adam and Eve and then described succinctly in Genesis 2:24, where we read, “Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother and be joined to his wife, and they will become one flesh.” With those 20 words, God announced the ordination of male-female marriage long before He established government. Not only is the family first in time, but it is also preeminent in importance because the vitality of our families is directly related to the strength of our citizenry and our nation.

When it comes to the family, science has proven what is plainly evident. More than 10,000 studies have concluded that kids do best when they are raised by loving and committed mothers and fathers. They are less likely to be on illegal drugs, to be held back a grade in the classroom, to drop out of school, to commit suicide, to be in poverty, to become juvenile delinquents, and for the girls, less likely to become teen mothers. They are healthier, both emotionally and physically, even 30 years later, than those not so blessed by traditional parents. In other words, a strong family unit is the most reliable way to produce well-adjusted and contributing members of society.

And yet our culture has sought to deconstruct families and marriage through the media, through the sexual revolution and even through law and policy. Consider these examples:

—In 1969, Congress foolishly created the Marriage Penalty Tax, requiring husbands and wives to pay higher taxes than cohabitating couples. Incredibly, our elected officials thought it was appropriate to punish married couples. This disastrous policy persisted for 33 years before being eliminated by George W. Bush (though it was temporarily revived under Barack Obama).

—Or consider the media. Marriage and monogamy are mocked in music, television shows and movies. Those who hold to any semblance of sexual ethics are ridiculed or dismissed as “old fashioned” and “prudish.” Gone are wholesome role models. We are more likely to celebrate entertainers who pole dance on network television than we are to applaud men and women who conduct themselves with modesty and fidelity.

—Others are not content to disincentivize or ridicule marriage and family—they aim to destroy it. In 2012, Marsha Gessen, a lesbian journalist, activist and author, stated during an interview with ABC Radio, “[I]t’s a no-brainer that the institution of marriage should not exist.” These anti-marriage activists are so opposed to God’s plan for marriage that they will not stop until it is utterly destroyed.

Why is marriage under attack? Why is the family targeted for elimination? Perhaps because marriage reinforces what its opponents call the “myth” of human sexuality—the idea that God uniquely made men and women. These so-called progressives view gender as a “social construct” and marriage as a restrictive and outdated constraint on sexual relationships, parenting and ideology. If “male” and “female” are meaningless, so is marriage. You might think I overstate the matter. Think again. One such activist has claimed that the only thing women add to parenting is the unnecessary ability to lactate.

This may be difficult to read, but I write not to discourage you, but to motivate you. No matter how much marriage is attacked or distorted, its essential nature is unchanged, and its power to revitalize our society remains. As I stated above, strong marriages produce strong families, and strong families lift up a nation!

First and foremost, let us raise the standard. As we build strong marriages and raise our children to understand the unique contributions of men and women and the dynamic union they form, we can and will make a difference. And as we support politicians who understand the essential role of marriage and policies that strengthen that role, our nation will grow stronger.

We owe the history of our nation to God’s design of the family, and America’s future still depends on it.

Christians must be active and go to the polls and let their voices be heard! Turnout will determine the outcome. What will you do about it? Will you sit out elections? God help us if you and I fail to fulfill our moral responsibility. We, the voters, have it within our power to protect our Constitution, preserve our system of government and secure the blessings of liberty for us and our posterity.

Jack was born seven weeks premature in 2012, weighing just 3 pounds, 10 ounces, and was forced to spend weeks in the neonatal intensive care unit.

Pratt has said this experience helped both stir and firm up his faith.

“He had all of these issues going on,” Pratt told The Christian Post earlier this year. “I prayed hard to God. I was in a season of transition spiritually at that time, and didn’t quite fully understand. I made a deal with God again: ‘I’m sorry, God, here I am again, asking for your grace again.’ And He really saved my son, and that was the moment [my faith] was cemented. My heart softened, and my faith hardened.”

Target is seeing the end of an era that many customers would probably like to forget.

After 11 years leading the embattled retail chain, CEO Brian Cornell is stepping down, as sales have sunk and shareholder patience has run thin.

Cornell will be replaced Feb. 1 by the company’s current Chief Operating Officer, Michael Fiddelke, a 20-year company veteran who started as an intern, the Associated Press reported.

The leadership change comes as Target reels from years of poor decisions, ideological distractions and a consumer base that found other options.

Cornell’s departure was widely expected, but some analysts had urged Target to bring in an outside voice. Instead, the board stuck with an insider, CNN reported.

Fiddelke said Wednesday that Target “must improve” and is “not realizing our full potential right now.”

He promised to reclaim “swagger” in merchandising and marketing.

But swagger won’t fix years of alienating loyal customers.

In 2023, Target was at the center of national outrage for its over-the-top “pride” merchandise displays. The collection included over 2,000 items, some described as “tuck-friendly” swimsuits and LGBT-themed merchandise for babies.

The company doubled down on identity politics when Americans were already weary of being force-fed corporate wokeness.

Facing boycotts and falling sales, Target scaled back dramatically.

Cornell’s tenure also included Target’s infamous 2016 decision to open women’s bathrooms to men claiming to be women.

Today, the company is paying the price.

Target’s stock has been one of the worst performers in the S&P 500 this year. Sales have dropped for three straight quarters.

The company reported a 21 percent decline in net income in its most recent quarter, with flat or falling comparable sales in nine of its last 11 quarters.

Neil Saunders of GlobalData Retail summed it up bluntly, telling CNN, “Target, which used to be very attuned to consumer demand, has lost its grip on delivering for the American shopper.”

Cornell’s early years saw some success. Target thrived during the pandemic as shoppers filled carts with essentials, home goods, and office supplies.

But by 2022, the chain was swamped with unsold inventory and struggling to compete with Walmart, Costco, and Amazon.

Fiddelke now inherits the mess.

He said his priorities are cleaner stores, stocked shelves, and tech upgrades.

That all sounds fine.

But the truth is simple: Until Target puts shoppers ahead of ideology, no CEO will be able to undo the damage.

A high school senior who claims she was banned from painting biblical messages on her student parking spot is fighting back.

Sabrina Steffens, a senior at Grand Island High School near Buffalo, New York, told CBN News that seniors at her school are allowed to personalize their paid parking spots. But when she attempted to have verses and Christian art painted on hers, the school reportedly refused.

Now, Steffens and First Liberty attorney Keisha Russell are threatening to take legal action if the school district doesn’t reverse course.

“I put in three drawings that I did, and the first drawing was a drawing of this mountain called Salvation Mountain,” Steffens said. “And when I handed it in, they said … completely no to it because it had crosses, a Bible verse, and just a lot of religion that they said that wasn’t allowed.”

The student then submitted another drawing with a Bible verse on it, which was purportedly also rejected.

“They finally agreed to … the last one, which had no Bible verses, no crosses, or anything,” Steffens said.

The incoming high school senior said she wasn’t surprised by the first denial, as she runs the school’s Bible club and purports to have experienced times when the school turned down ads from her club.

Steffens alleged it took her months to get the club started and that poster designs with Bible verses were previously rejected. Thus, these turndowns weren’t total surprises, yet First Liberty said the parking space debacle isn’t legally permissible.

Russell said First Liberty decided to help after hearing Steffens’ story, as the conservative legal firm has fought — and won — similar battles.

“For some reason, I find [school districts] to be some of the most hostile actors when it comes to religious liberty, which is unfortunate,” she said. “Our case with Coach [Joe] Kennedy and how that played out, and I’m also representing a school teacher in Connecticut who’s been a veteran teacher for 32 years, and she was kicked out of the classroom because she keeps a crucifix by her desk.”
