In a move to make a point about Republicans attempting to protect children from sexually charged drag shows, one Nebraska Democrat has found herself accused of religious discrimination.

In the hopes of killing proposed legislation LB 371, which would ban minors from drag shows in the state, State Rep. Megan Hunt (D) brought forward an amendment to ban minors from “religious indoctrination camp,” which would include vacation Bible schools and summer youth camps.

She cited in the amendment a “well-documented history of indoctrination and sexual abuse perpetrated by religious leaders and clergy people upon children.”

Hunt added the amendment in the hopes of drawing comparisons between children attending religious-based events and the hyper-sexualized drag shows that Republicans are hoping to ban them from.

But there is a shockingly dangerous statement made by Hunt that radical leftists have been saying literally for decades, and people continue to believe.

In response to the swift backlash and accusations of bigotry, which every leftist must address to maintain their social credit standing, Hunt told Fox News Digital:

“This is an amendment that I will use to make a point. This amendment obviously won’t pass, and I would withdraw it if it had the votes to pass. It’s a device to make a point, so there is no need to worry.”

This is the same rhetoric that Democrats have been using to pass their agendas for a very long time.

Gay marriage was originally about equality and being left alone, and that was not true. Barack Obama, Joe Biden, Bill Clinton and many other Democrats who at one time rejected gay marriage, wholeheartedly accepted it with open arms once it became politically beneficial.

The same is true for transgender mutilation of children, with doctors, politicians and parents rushing to have their children irreparably scarred and disfigured for the rest of their lives.

It was only supposed to be about the freedom to let someone be true to their own self.

Now it permeates American culture and actively recruits children using every method of technology and social media available.

If anyone is unsure of the assault children are under, just create a free YouTube Kids account and look at the videos they recommend. The page will be filled with gender ideology and LGBTQ activism, yet most parents are completely unaware of the danger their children are in.

So why on earth would any sane person take Hunt at her word that she would never allow such an amendment to pass? Deception and misdirection have been perfected by the Democratic party, and Christians know where deception comes from and it is not Jesus.

Hunt worded her amendment to say a “religious indoctrination camp” is “a camp, vacation Bible study, retreat, lock-in or convention held by a church, youth group or religious organization for the purpose of indoctrinating children with a specific set of religious beliefs.”

“They aren’t meant to pass,” Hunt insisted. “They are meant to help kill harmful and discriminatory bills like LB371 which, if we are forced to debate in the full legislature, will truly be a waste of time for Nebraskans and for lawmakers. Part of my job here is to work to pass or block bills that I support or oppose. This is just what happens in the course of that work.”

Christians and Americans alike have to discern that Satan is moving against God in this day and age. He is the chief of all liars, and regardless of a politician being Democrat or Republican, if they are fighting tooth and nail to protect child mutilation and attendance at drag shows, they are not acting on God’s behalf.

Based on the history of modern-day politicians, they will say one thing and do another. Rep. Hunt may have overplayed her hand in this aspect by allowing her true feelings about Christians and people of faith to slip into her amendment.

But this is nothing new for Christians. The Word of God warns of the coming persecution to followers of Christ. Thankfully, the Word also provides strength and support to spiritually battle against the forces of darkness and overcome the enemy, who is Satan. {eoa}

Chad President Mahamat Deby is in Israel to inaugurate his country’s embassy in the Tel Aviv suburb of Ramat Gan, scheduled to take place on Thursday.

The central African country is the latest predominantly Muslim nation to strengthen ties with Israel. The two countries re-established relations five years ago, and Deby continued the warming relations in response to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s African outreach begun by his father, Idriss Deby, who was assassinated in 2021.

Israel’s leadership stressed the importance of Deby’s visit, as he met Wednesday in Jerusalem with Netanyahu, President Isaac Herzog, Foreign Minister Eli Cohen and the head of Israel’s Mossad intelligence agency.

The African leader hailed the moment, telling Netanyahu, “Chad and Israel are today at a decisive turning point in their relationship.” It was the president’s first official visit to Israel.

Netanyahu responded, noting the ties with Chad represented a “tremendously important relationship with a major country in the heart of Africa. It is something that we want to carry to new levels, new heights, and your visit here in Israel and the opening of the embassy is a reflection of that.”

Spiritual warfare is raging across America, yet few are talking about it or the ramifications that come with it.

The Bible warns Christians of the enemy’s plans, but the deception of the devil has relegated many to the sidelines instead of the frontlines where they are needed.

Satanism, the occult, witchcraft… these abominations against the Lord have been plaguing the world from the beginning and their grip is tightening over people across America.

When the rulers of darkness look to lay claim on the land, however, there are some who are stepping up and saying no to them in Jesus’ name.

Former Satanist-turned-evangelist John Ramirez has been working for years alongside organizations like Intercessors for America to shine the light of truth on the spiritual darkness infecting the heart of America.

Prayer warriors are needed today, as the Satanic Church is gearing up for their SatanCon event, which they are marketing as “largest satanic gathering in history” in Boston, Massachusetts. Right here, in the country founded on Judeo-Christian values and honored the Creator in its founding.

Few have the background knowledge of Satanism and the occult that Ramirez brings. Growing up in Santeria, Ramirez frequented the dark side of the spiritual realm and knows the true enemy deceiving humanity today.

“These people are a bunch of jokes because this is how they trap people,” Ramirez told Fox News regarding the Satanic Temple. “I lived in the satanic kingdom for 25 years. I lived in the shadows of the demonic for 25 years. I would talk to Satan all day long, all night long.”

Ramirez uses his knowledge of demonic activity and Satanism to expose the deception that groups like the Satanic Temple try and spread.

“So, these people tell you they’re a temple, they’re a religion, but they don’t serve Satan, which is all hogwash,” he said. “On the front door, they say, ‘We call ourselves Satanists, but we don’t serve Satan.’ But then that’s like a Christian saying, ‘I’m a Christian, but I don’t serve Jesus.’ How can you be a Christian not serving Jesus? Either you have one master, or you have the other.”

Satan has worked for centuries to deceive humanity into believing he is not a threat, that he is not real. In modern-day society, he is excelling at this narrative and so are his acolytes.

This is an intentional strategy used to open the spiritual floodgates and allow demonic influence to steer people away from God.

Building Satanic temples is part of the ploy “so demons and spirits can work in the atmosphere of those regions to really bring destruction to the people,” Ramirez explains.

There are others joining Ramirez in the spiritual battle taking place in America as well. The Christian group Intercessors for America has engaged thousands of believers to pray, fast and act against this corruption of the soul taking place across the country.

CEO of Intercessors for America David Kubal believes that people are seeing this activity but may not always know the spiritual significance of rituals the Satanic Temple uses, such as abortion.

“I think for the average American, that just kind of makes their skin crawl to think that somebody would abort a baby for religious ritual purposes,” Kubal said.

Kubal and others are praying that the deceptive tactics used by the followers of the devil will be exposed and are speaking out to achieve that very goal.

“So, whether or not people believe in satanic power, the people that are a part of this absolutely do, and they attend this conference in an attempt to learn how to manipulate people using the supernatural,” explained Kubal. “They cloak their activities using palatable words emphasizing science, using words like benevolence or justice.”

In a response to Fox News, the Satanic Temple continued their campaign of spiritual disinformation.

“We support people’s First Amendment right to engage in prayer and fasting as means of protest,” a spokesperson for the Satanic Temple said. “It is hard to respond to accusations of ‘tapping into demonic power’ in the same way that it is hard to respond to accusations of having ‘cooties’ without implicitly validating the mindset of a 3-year-old.”

Whether out of ignorance or deception, comparing the occult and Satanic worship to the cooties is exactly what Satan wants, and what he has been succeeding at all these centuries.

Generation Z—those born between 1997 and 2012—is rising. They are entering the workforce, entering politics and entering the ministry.

But spiritually speaking, this generation is in crisis.

Forty-six percent of Gen Z say they’ve committed their lives to Jesus, which looks good on the surface. The challenge is only one-eighth are practicing Christians, according to an American Bible Society (ABS) study. A practicing Christian is defined as one who considers their faith very important to them and attends religious services at least once a month.

The ABS study also reveals Gen Z faces unprecedented levels of stress. The research shows that this age group is facing a mental health crisis, with stress, anxiety and depression far beyond the norm. At the same time, 53% of Gen Z say they’re curious to know more about Jesus. Three of four indicate some level of curiosity about the Bible or Jesus.

Psalm 78:4 tells us we should tell “the coming generation the glorious deeds of the Lord, and his might, and the wonders that he has done.”

We need to pray for Gen Z. This month, Awakening Prayer Hubs has taken up Gen Z as our focus. Would you pray with us?

• Pray God would pour out His Spirit on Gen Z (Acts 2)
• Pray that Gen Z would grow in a deeper love for Jesus (1 Peter 2:2).

• Pray that Gen Z would lean on the Word and the Spirit as they live their lives (Ps. 119:105).
• Pray that Gen Z would press into prayer for revival and spiritual awakening (2 Chron. 7:14).
• Pray for Gen Z to learn to cast their cares on the Lord (1 Peter 5:7).
• Pray that Gen Z can connect with churches that are healthy and biblically sound (Titus 2:1)

The depth of clarity that My fresh wind is bringing will bring about contentment and peace of My heart and My blueprint for their season. There is a joy and a settledness I am releasing into their hearts—in the clarity of their season—that is silencing the wrestling and bringing a stillness.”

Treasures in the Secret Place

“My mighty, fresh, rushing wind is blowing and ushering these ones into depths of worship and encounter in Me that they have not known before. There are deep treasures that are going to be found in the secret place and the place of soaking. There is such a depth of oneness with Me that is found in the lingering. It is such a deep place of healing, restoration and rest that is found in the lingering place with Me. As you linger and soak in My presence, you will be saturated in My glory and My peace. You will be saturated in My Shekinah glory in a way you have never known before. The waterfall of My oil is flowing and bringing such deep healing and restoration.”

Double Vision and a Single Focus

I saw His oil flowing upon eyes and I saw “double vision” being healed. As I was watching this take place, the Lord said, “single focus.” Where the effects of being in such a pressurized season have caused double vision, doubt and double-mindedness, the tangible presence of God and His oil are bringing deep healing and realignment. I could hear the sound of repentance and realignment resounding loudly.

There is a single focus that the Lord is bringing—a single focus upon Jesus and upon what He is speaking and what He is revealing. There will no longer be questions asking, “Am I hearing right?” “Am I seeing right?” “Have I discerned my season correctly?” Many who have been in that deep place of torment from confusion and lingering effects of a very long, pressurized season—the Lord is removing it all, and He is bringing a fresh perspective.

Fresh Perspective

This mighty, fresh wind that’s blowing is revealing the things He is not breathing upon in this hour, and it is increasing those things that He IS breathing upon. I saw the fresh wind blowing upon perspective. As you linger with Him, He is increasing clarity and revelation with His perspective. You are moving into the clearing, but He is also extending your vision supernaturally to see further than you have ever seen.

In a recent sermon at Consuming Fire Ministries in Champaign, Illinois, the pre-teen son of pastors Tony and Ryane Williams delivered a rousing sermon on John 15:12, which reads, “My command is this. Love each other as I have loved you.”

Wednesday is the first day of the celebration of Black History Month. And what a better way to kick it off than for a fiery, young African-American youth to talk about God’s love for us in this amazing video.

“Praise the Lord, everybody,” Williams greeted the congregation prior to his very first sermon. “Can we get some hands clapping for the Lord?

“What is love? Love is an emotion that keeps people bound and committed to one another. If they love each other, they are committed to each other.

“The reason we love is to please God. When we please God, He loves us back. … If you don’t think that God loves you, you must be out of your mind. He sent His own son, Jesus, to die for us.”

Ryane Williams says that, at age five, her son sat his parents down and told them that “God had called him to be a pastor and to preach.” Since that time, he has been consuming the Bible and preparing himself to do just that.

“When he said that, I asked him the question—and he’s very intelligent—’how do you know God has called you to preach?’ He said, “Mom, I feel it in my heart.’ And still today he aspires to be a pastor. So, hopefully we’ll hand it down to him.”

Tony and Ryane Williams were both brought up in the Church of God in Christ, and they planted a Pentecostal church in Tennessee 15 years ago. In 2016, the Williams’ moved to Champaign and founded Consuming Fire Ministries, a non-denominational church.

“We believe in the five-fold gifting’s, and we have a Pentecostal-Apostolic feel to our services,” Ryane explained, and that the growing church of 60 members leans heavily upon the movement of the Holy Spirit.

She says that she is very proud of Jonathan and the path he has taken, and that he has clung to God’s Word to lead his life.

“As adults we tend to overlook the children,” Ryane said. “But God can move through anyone. He allows his spirit to move. Our youth department definitely growing, and now we are looking for another building because we have so many youth and teenagers. They are excited about what God is doing.” {eoa}

Shocking Discovery Found in Church Dumpster

A shocking discovery was made in a local church in Ardmore, Oklahoma Saturday afternoon. Police were alerted to a baby in a dumpster at Ardmore church after authorities say the mother called to alert them.

In an interview with Christian Post, Associate Pastor Ed Skidmore says, “Of course, we were absolutely heartbroken,” Skidmore said. “We’re pro-life from the moment of conception. We support babies in the womb. We support our local pregnancy center. We support mothers. Our hearts have gone out to the dad, the mom and the baby. We are absolutely heartbroken.”

It’s unclear right now what the motive was for the child to be left in the dumpster. KXII reported the baby was found around 3:00 pm on Saturday and as of Saturday evening, the baby was still in stable condition.

One woman’s life was radically changed forever after God delivered her of witchcraft, drug addiction and homelessness. Not only has she been set free and lives a life worshipping God, she and her husband now lead a massive Jesus movement.

Jenny and Stephen Weaver founded the Core Group in 2018, but everything changed in April 2022. After gathering together with their group from around the nation, God birthed something overnight. Charisma News sat down with them to talk about their new documentary that was just released and what has transpired this last year.

The Institution for Family Studies reports that 12% of Americans met their partner in a church which has now plummeted to 4% today. This is largely due to the abundance of women in churches over men. Jenny and Stephen have been fighting for the souls of men in this country on top of what God is already doing among women.

Now 10,000 men and women around the country who are hungry for more of Jesus, gather together to pray for greater outpourings of the Holy Spirit. What started as a woman’s group has eventually opened the door for men to step into the greater things of God. A huge need the church has been lacking for decades.

Charisma News: What are some of the miracles and testimonies you have seen lately?

“The children were coming up to the stage during worship. They were actually pushing up on the stage so much that they climbed up on the platform to just be in the anointing. Tears streaming down five year old’s faces,” Jenny says.

Just recently people gathered together in Orlando, Florida to worship God together.

“I’ve never seen anything like that in my life actually,” she says.

Not only have Jenny and Stephen seen deliverance in their own lives, but they are now helping others chained to the world find freedom in Christ. “People were getting rid of drugs. People were saying they had smoked weed right before they got into the service. Like in the parking lot, smoked weed and God delivered them of that at the service,” she says.

Charisma News: Why is it important for people to have bold faith in the world today?

“We had people that were in the hotel just there for work conferences, that said they heard the women singing in the hallway and said they felt the Lord leading them to the service. They just walked right in and God touched them,” Jenny says.

Second Corinthians 3:17-18 says, “Now the Lord is the Spirit. And where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. But we all, seeing the glory of the Lord with unveiled faces, as in a mirror, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory by the Spirit of the Lord.

Wherever God is moving on the earth, liberty will follow. When God shows up anyone who is in the room that is crying out for Him will find freedom. Jenny and Stephen Weaver are seeing massive deliverances take place at their meetings. People who have been bound by witchcraft, drug addiction and hopelessness are finding the freedom only found in Christ.

“We did baptisms at the previous one so we probably baptized over 200 people in the hot tub. People that were not part of the CORE group wanted to be baptized. There were several families that we wanted to baptize that wanted to give their lives to the Lord,” Stephen says.

You don’t have to be a pastor or in full-time ministry to spread the light of Jesus to those around you. People are hurting, they are lost and broken. The Bible says it is His kindness that leads us to repentance. The next time you are faced with a coworker or family member who is hostile and trying to provoke you remember who lives inside of you.

“I see it as a life or death situation. That is how important it is. Everywhere, all around us people are making choices. They are either choosing Christ or hell and destruction. There is no in-between. It is our job as ambassadors of Christ to lead them toward the answer,” Jenny says. {eoa}

Cancel culture’s “tolerance” is continually wearing thin, as a group of about a dozen Catholic students found out last week at the Smithsonian Museum in Washington, D.C.

The students and chaperones from Our Lady of the Rosary School in Greenville, South Carolina, who came to the nation’s capital for the annual National March for Life, were ejected from the museum on Jan. 20 for wearing beanies inscribed with pro-life messages, Fox News reported.

The matching blue beanies contained the words “Rosary Pro-Life.”

The American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ), which is now representing the parents of some of the students involved, reported that the museum staff mocked the students and used profanity against them in making comments that the “museum was a ‘neutral zone’ where they could not express such statements.”

Other individuals visiting the museum, the ACLJ says, were “wearing hats of all kinds without issue.” The employee who forced the students to leave the museum was reportedly “rubbing his hands together in glee as they exited the building.”

A mother of one of the two students said this on Twitter: “My daughter just called from DC. A dozen kids from Greenville just got kicked out of the Air & Space Museum for wearing Pro-Life hats. They were told to remove their hats or leave. Daughter told man they had to wear to find each other in a crowd. KICKED OUT for refusing to remove!”

The ACLJ says it is “absolutely appalled at this blatant discrimination and won’t let this behavior stand.”

“This is a clear and egregious abuse of the First Amendment, which protects their right to free speech without government interference, and we are ready to take action,” says ACLJ Executive Director Jordan Sekulow. “A government institution cannot censor an individual’s speech, much less speech from the inherently Christian pro-life position.”

In a similar incident on Jan. 17, a man wearing a “Jesus Saves” T-shirt at the Mall of America in Minneapolis, Minnesota, was told by mall security to “take it off or leave,” as reported by Charisma News. {eoa}
