Sean Feucht’s Documentary ‘Superspreader’ Hits Theaters Tonight

Read Time: 1 minute 42 seconds

The documentary on the rise of the ‘Let Us Worship’ movement is hitting theaters across America tonight, for one night only. Sean Feucht’s new movie “Superspreader” will be in 528 theaters across America with the powerful story of revival that flowed after the government tried to restrict churches from gathering and worshiping at the start of COVID.

The film documents the movement of the church leaving the building and hitting the streets, opening the door to those who don’t believe in Jesus to watch passionate believers join together in the open and worship God.

Despite what the enemy has tried to do through COVID and the negative narrative painted through the mainstream media, God has done something even more powerful. Lives are being saved, transformed and delivered from darkness to light.

“Superspreader” hits theaters across America on Sept. 29 for one night only. “I’m praying for the same Spirit of revival we’ve experienced in Let Us Worship events we want to bring to theaters across America,” Feucht said in an interview with Charisma News.

Constitutional lawyer Josh Hawley is seen in the film setting the narrative straight. “You have people saying, opponents of the gospel on the left, ‘all you Christians want is control,’ actually no what we want is freedom,” he says.

The movie isn’t about politics, it’s about religious liberty and doing what the Bible calls Christians to do. There is something incredible happening across the country as people realize church doesn’t have to take place within the four walls of the building.

Church can happen on the streets, in your home and anywhere believers come together to worship and praise God. It is clear that God is using Feucht in this hour to wake up the sleepers and to show the Western church how to take a stand.

Feucht says he is getting reports that theaters across America are sold out tonight to see the documentary. To check to see where the film is playing near you head over to .

The ‘Let Us Worship’ group will also be heading to Washington D.C. on October 22 to finish off the year. {eoa}

Will Many of the Elect Really Be Deceived by the Antichrist?

The most sobering and troubling statement in the Olivet Discourse is where Jesus says, “For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect” (Matt. 24:24).

This statement cries out for an explanation. What does Jesus mean when He says, “to deceive, if possible, even the elect?” Would it be possible for Satan to deceive genuine Christians into following and worshiping the Antichrist?

No.

Satan cannot deceive true Christian believers. He can tempt us to sin. He can tempt us to discouragement. He can tempt us to fear. And sometimes, we yield to these temptations. But Satan could never deceive us into switching sides and worshiping the Antichrist if we are genuine followers of Christ.

The Eternal Security of the Believer

Jesus said in John 10:27-28, “My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand.” Here, Jesus assures us of the eternal security of the believer.

Once a person comes to Christ in full, sincere surrender, no one—not even Satan himself—could ever snatch that person out of the Lord’s hand. From cover to cover, the Scriptures make this principle very clear. Genuine believers will not be deceived or destroyed on the day of judgment because our Lord sovereignly protects them.

In Matthew 24:29 Jesus says that the sun and moon will be darkened, the stars will fall, and the heavenly bodies will be shaken. All this will take place as the earth is shaking and millions are dying from disease and starvation. And in the midst of this chaos, false messiahs will continue to deceive the masses.

Undoubtedly, many believers who undergo the pressures and terrors of that day will experience anxiety and their confidence may be shaken. They may experience discouragement and fear—but their faith will weather the storm. They will not be deceived. Their salvation will not be lost. Their trust in God will not be destroyed.

Prepare Yourself for His Return

How can you prepare now for this uncertain and threatening future? I would urge you to get involved in a small-group Bible study through your local church. Join together with committed believers who will pray with you, study God’s Word with you, support you in your struggles and hold you accountable. Share meals with your group. Go on retreats with them and bond with them. Belonging to a Christ-centered loving community is not a luxury or an option, it’s a necessity in the Christian life. It will be the key to standing strong and immovable during times of chaos and upheaval.

In Matthew 24:25, Jesus says, “See, I have told you ahead of time.” In other words, “I have given you plenty of warning. Make sure you are ready and prepared. Don’t let that day take you by surprise. Make sure you and your family are ready for the end times.”

Jesus also says, “For as lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man” (Matt. 24:27). Here, Jesus says that His return will not be stretched out over days or weeks. His return will be sudden, startlingly glorious and visible to the entire world.

How Should We Respond?

How should we respond to this message from Jesus, the Lord of history? I would urge you to take these two actions:

First, be alert to the “birth pains” of history. Talk to your friends and family about this message of Jesus from Matthew 24. When events in the news align with the events Jesus predicts as the beginning of labor pains that foreshadow His return, point them out to the people around you. Urge your family and friends to be constantly, spiritually ready for the Lord’s return.

Youssef end bookSecond, pray for revival. The late Christian leader Stephen Olford, whom Billy Graham called “the man who most influenced my ministry,” has called revival “an invasion from heaven that brings a conscious awareness of God.” Do you and I really want to experience that holy invasion of our lives by God’s Spirit? Do we want that holy invasion more than we want wealth, success, status or our secret sins? When we truly desire God more than any other treasure in our lives, and we pray earnestly for revival, then God can bring about a radical transformation in our lives—and the lives of people around us.

You and I live in the here and now, the time God has allotted to us in which we can serve Him faithfully every waking moment. Yet we also have one foot in the world to come, in eternity. As we live and serve in the “here and now,” we need to keep our hearts focused on the “yet to come.” We need to live each moment as if Jesus were returning in mere seconds.

His coming will be sudden and unexpected—but those who are prepared for His return will not be caught by surprise. They will not be dismayed. They will be full of joy when, like a flash of lightning, Jesus returns to take us home.

CNN Attacks Christianity Amid ‘Rapture Anxiety’ and ‘Religious Trauma’ Claims

Read time: 3 minutes 6 seconds

Since the spread of Christianity and the formation of Christian churches, many individuals have ended up being hurt by the church.

In some cases, the church has not been standing on biblical principles and that has led to traumatic experiences for those on the receiving end. These events have led to multiple examinations of the heart within the church and led to movements such as the Great Awakenings, revivals and growth within the persecuted church.

At times, individuals who are not anchored in Christ have been unable to full comprehend or understand a topic or subject within the Bible, and have been led astray by the devil’s influence. The Rapture is one of those topics that the devil has created fear and uncertainty in many people when they were young, and are claiming it affects them now as adults.

These events can lead to feelings of rejection, bitterness, anger and sadness because they were not instructed properly or they refused to conform their societal beliefs around the Bible.

There is no one sweeping answer that can solve a falling away from the church, but attacking the Bible and Christ will not resolve any issues that stem from a departure from the gospel.

CNN interviewed a popular TikToker, April Ajoy, who has experienced “religious trauma” brought on by the fear that she might be left behind by the Rapture.

This is a sad tale for many ‘exvangelicals’ as they are calling themselves. After two minutes into the article, a Christian grounded in the Word of God would tell her that she should not have been raised in fear. This is a stumbling block for many who grew up afraid of a vengeful God who did not exhibit grace, love and mercy.

This experience with the church has led many to attempt and “deconstruct” Christianity. Some have done so in healthy biblically-based ways, while others have not and accepted certain societal norms such as homosexuality as acceptable.

What CNN does is try and discredit the Rapture as a whole. There are no parts of the Bible to be discredited, yet the media outlet attempts to subtly cast doubt on its existence.

First it tries to downplay the Rapture by claiming it “is not prevalent in Catholic or mainline Protestant denominations like Episcopalians or Presbyterianism, and is most commonly adhered to in evangelical and fundamental churches.”

Their source for downplaying? A former Baptist pastor named Darren Slade who left Christianity behind.

Much like a recent NPR article trying to justify transgenderism in the Bible, CNN does not offer any expert opinion for the biblical event but only in favor of their talking point.

Second, the article attempts to blame the fear in many young Christians over the years on fictional works like the “Left Behind” series. It even references “a graphic execution scene” from the movie “A Thief in the Night.” Their claim is that these depictions are so violent and anxiety-inducing that people can suffer from “religious trauma” for the rest of their lives. Yet hyper-violence plagues television, social media and movies, yet CNN makes no correlation to that.

The examples that Slade, Ajoy and CNN use have a continuous theme: They are not at all based on a foundation of the Word of God, but one of fear and trepidation.

The fear within these individuals is so bad, Slade claims he was “diagnosed with complex PTSD” due to rapture anxiety.

The devil is the one who operates in fear, not the Lord. The fruit of the Spirit exhibits peace, and not fear. Satan doesn’t want these people to fully understand the revelations that the Bible has to offer Christians.

The devil continues to attack these people using this misguided fear to keep them away from the peace that Jesus has to offer, and Ajoy admits to still feeling this terrifying fear to this day. She is right in what she told many of her followers:

“To people who are going through this, who are questioning, I want to say there is no fear in love. You shouldn’t have to be afraid of the answer.”

That is so true. There is no fear in God’s love. But there is fear in the devils’ tactics to deceive and keep people from church community and understanding of God’s Word.

God offers healing to those who were taught incorrectly and led astray by false teachings, but the devil will continue to use fear and distrust to keep them lost. Those hurt by a church need prayer and love to recover from these types of experiences, because shaping the Word of God to fit one’s own narrative or agenda leads down a path away from God, not towards Him. {eoa}

Joseph Mattera: 7 Traits of the Sown Life

Paul said he was a “drink offering.” This meant that he offered his very life, spirit, soul, and body, to the Lord and to His church as a “living sacrifice” (Num. 15:4-10; 2 Tim. 4:6; Rom. 12:1-2).

He also said he not only “spent” but “was spent” for the gospel (2 Cor. 12:15). When you spend, you donate discretionary resources. When you are spent, you give everything you have, even your life.

“The rich man is not one who is in possession of much, but one who gives much” (The Homilies of S. John Chrysostom on the Statues: Or, To the People of Antioch, ).

When a person is only partially committed to Christ, he is “half baked”. It’s like a half baked cake or something that is lukewarm, neither hot nor cold, like the Laodicean church (Hos. 7:8, Rev. 3:14-16). Jesus expects His disciples to count the cost and forsake all to follow Him (Luke 14:23-35).

The following are seven signs you are living the sown life:

1. You fully surrender to the will of God every day without hesitation. Every morning we need to start the day with a blank slate in our hearts, fully submissive to the Lord. We should echo the words of Jesus when He told the Father, “Not My will but Your will be done” (Matt. 26:39).

When we start the day with that submissive attitude, we allow Him the opportunity to fill us with His Spirit. Consequently, by waiting upon Him and practicing the spiritual disciplines (private or corporate prayer, worship, bible meditation, fellowship with other believers), it is easier to abide in His presence throughout the day and set the Lord before us (Ps. 16:8).

live a life of peace that arises out of fully resolving to live for Christ. When we acknowledge and submit to Christ in all our ways, we are at peace because we can trust that He’s directing our paths (Prov. 3:5-7). By submitting to Him daily, we cast our cares upon the Lord and resist our anxious thoughts by prayer and supplication (Phil. 4:6-7; 1 Peter 5:6).

take up your cross daily. While this is not a popular preaching theme in contemporary hyper-grace churches (who believe the gospels fall under the category of the Old Testament and do not apply to the church), taking up our cross is still a command for the church. Paul the apostle, reconfirmed that this is still relevant to the church when he said he was crucified with Christ, and it was no longer he who lives but Christ who lives in him (Gal. 2:19-20). The historical cross was the gory method in which Jesus and thousands of others were put to death during the Roman empire (Matt. 27:37).

Jesus, anticipating His future execution, admonished His disciples to take up their cross. He explained what this meant when He said that if someone wants to preserve or protect his life, he will lose it. However, if someone loses his life (which means fully surrendering to God), he will find it (Mark 8:34-38). Hence, the cross has been used as a powerful symbol to refer to a person’s absolute surrender to God by crucifying ones self-will and sinful desires (Gal. 5:24).

“Whatever was done in the crucifixion of Christ, His burial, His resurrection on the third day, His ascension into heaven, His being seated at the Father’s right hand—all these things were done thus, that they might not only signify their mystical meanings, but also serve as a model for the Christian life which we lead here on the earth” (Augustine, 354-430; Enchiridion, 53).

live beyond the measure of your natural abilities. God was angry at His people in the first covenant because they limited Him (Ps. 78:41). One way we limit God is by disobeying Him when He requires us to do something beyond our natural abilities or resources (when Israel refused to conquer the promised land because they saw giants in the land—Numbers 13). When we surrender to God, we live a life of faith that fully trusts Him, which often requires us to live beyond the limits of our natural, rational world (Prov. 3:5-6).

count not your life as dear to yourself. The apostle Paul said he was able to finish his divine assignment commensurate to his willingness not to count his life as dear to himself (Acts 20:22-24). This is due to not drawing back because of difficult circumstances, tests, trials, challenges and inconveniences. Unfortunately, many Christians retreat from ministry and from serving Christ when things get difficult. It’s often because their love of self exceeds their love for God.

life is a witness, not merely your words. Jesus told His disciples that the purpose of the coming power of the Spirit was so that they would be His witnesses (Acts 1:8-9). Thus, we should not separate our life from our words and beliefs in the Christian faith. When we are fully sown into the Lord, we become a living epistle, and people will be able to follow our life, not just our words (2 Cor. 3:2-3, 2 Tim. 3:10-14).

7. You bear much fruit. Jesus told us that those who continually abide in Him would bear much fruit since they are recipients of His life and virtue (John 15:1-7). Hence, one of the signs of a life entirely devoted to Him, the sown life, is the power, life and ministry of Christ working through a person. In this context, fruit refers to both the fruits of the Spirit (the character of Christ shown in Galatians 5:22-23) and the works of the ministry of Christ (John 14:12).

In conclusion, I pray that all of us will be fully sewn into the kingdom of God and not merely give God the leftovers of our discretionary time, talent and treasures. {eoa}

Iranians Continue to Fight Back Against Leaders for Death of Mahsa Amini

Read Time: 2 minutes 30 seconds

Since the death of 22-year-old Mahsa Amini, protests across Iran haven’t died down. Now Iranian Christians around the world are joining the movement, denouncing the death of Amini who reportedly died at the hands of Iranian authorities for not wearing a hijab properly.

“We are all together regardless of ethnicity, religion, language or belief, in this fight against the shared pain of injustice, oppression and religious dictatorship, as well as our hope for life, freedom and equality,” Hamgaam Council of United Iranian Churches said in a statement.

Thursday marks the 13th day of protests in the country and Iran’s president is now warning the people that the protests can’t continue. State media outlets in Iran are reporting that 41 people have been killed and more than 1,200 arrested. Some are reporting death toll numbers even higher at 76 including women and children.

Amini was in Tehran when morality police arrested her and took her into custody, where she suffered a heart attack and slipped into a coma.

On Tuesday the United Nation expressed their concerns on the government crackdown on protests. In a tweet they say, “We are concerned by continued violent response by security forces to protests & communications restrictions following death of Mahsa Amini. Iranian authorities must respect rights to freedom of opinion, expression, peaceful assembly & association.”

The UN says at least 18 journalists have been arrested in Iran as well as human rights defenders, lawyers and civil society activists. Women across the country are fighting back and standing up for their rights.

Things are changing in the country. The Iranian people have seen what heavy oppression is like under the Shiite Islamic regime and they are fighting for change. The underground church in Iran is the fastest growing church in the world today and many attribute that to the hardships the country has faced.

Before the Islamic regime took over in 1978, Iran was a free republic. Since then their rights have been stripped under the religious dictators, especially for women. Citizens are posting on Twitter, women out in the streets, eating lunch and living their lives without wearing their hijabs and mandatory loose fitted clothing.

Dozens of protests continue to erupt every night and this worldwide movement appears to be far from over as the world gathers together in support for the protestors. Despite the Iranian government creating internet and app outages nightly, the truth of what is happening in Iran is still getting out on social media to the world.

The body of Christ should pray right now that the underground church would continue to grow and strengthen during this time. Pastors and other Christian leaders are still being arrested, tortured and imprisoned for their faith.

Christian organizations like Voice of the Martyrs are working inside the country to provide training and discipleship for the believers. {eoa}

We Are Small, But We Matter to God

As a devastating hurricane strikes Florida, I am reminded of how very small we humans are, despite our boasting and our pride.

Let’s put aside for a moment just how tiny our planet is in the overall scheme of things, not amounting to a dot in the unfathomably large Milky Way, which is just one of trillions of other unfathomably large galaxies.

But even here on earth, we are small.

If it rains for too long, we perish. If the rain stops for too long, we perish.

If it gets too hot for too long or too cold for too long, that’s the end of our race—and there’s not a thing we can do to stop it.

All our brilliant technology cannot combat the natural elements, no matter how hard we try.

We can’t stop the wind. We can’t thwart the tide. We can’t prevent an earthquake. We can’t resist a tornado. We can’t halt a hurricane.

All we can do is run. Or hide. We are not as big as we imagine ourselves to be.

And when we visit the cemetery, we are reminded of one certain thing: barring the return of the Lord in our lifetimes, that is our destiny as well.

As the Lord said through the prophet Isaiah, “Stop trusting in human beings, whose life’s breath is in their nostrils. For why should they be given special consideration?” (Isa. 2:22, NET). Or as expressed by Job, after encountering the glory and majesty of God, “Look, I am [completely] insignificant. How can I reply to you? I [now] put my hand over my mouth.” (Job 40:4, my translation; the Hebrew for the opening phrase is literally, “Look, I am small”).

That’s why David wrote in the Psalms, “When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is mankind that you are mindful of them, human beings that you care for them?” (Ps. 8:3–4, NIV)

David was saying, “Lord, in light of Your greatness, in light of all that You have created, why do You care about us – about frail human beings?”

All this is underscored when we remember that we are not just mortal but also sinful, not just frail, but fleshly. Why would the Lord give a second’s thought to us?

And yet, David continued, “You have made them [meaning us humans!] a little lower than the angels and crowned them with glory and honor. You made them rulers over the works of your hands; you put everything under their feet: all flocks and herds, and the animals of the wild, the birds in the sky and the fish in the sea, all that swim the paths of the seas. LORD, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth!” (Ps. 8:5–9, NIV)

Not only so, but God actually sent His Son into the world, as a human, to redeem us humans. Who can imagine that?

Jesus didn’t die for the angels, with all their splendor and glory.

Instead, when they fell, it was over. They were never to be redeemed.

Yet God sends His Son to die for us? How can this be?

The fact is that, out of all God’s handiwork, we are uniquely created in His image and likeness (see Genesis 1:26-27), sharing aspects of His character and nature unlike any other created being. And although that divine image in us has been corrupted by sin (note the interesting language of Genesis 5:1-3), we still bear those divine markings in our conscience and our personhood.

That’s why the heavenly Father not only sees us in our sin and rebellion, but He also sees us as redeemable, in fact, as worthy to be redeemed because of His purpose and plan.

In ourselves, of course, we are wretched and worthless, by nature, objects of wrath (see Ephesians 2:1-3). But in God’s eyes, He sees who He created us to be, who He intended us to be, who we can potentially be through the redemption of the cross. That’s how we should see other people too, even in their lostness: the Lord can make something special out of the worst of them.

Yes, we are small and weak and frail.

Yes, we are fallen and sinful and rebellious.

Yes, we are capable of committing the most hideous atrocities.

And yes, we are God’s beloved creation, objects of His eternal love, capable of extraordinary good by His grace and in Jesus, destined for glory.

So, let’s not get impressed by our amazing exploits. After all, we’re just little people. But, by all means, let’s get impressed by what God can do in and through us.

Our smallness only magnifies His greatness.

And please remember to pray to our magnificently big and good God for those affected by natural disasters even as you read these words. {eoa}

Fox Anchor: ‘God Wanted Me to Be Bold and Share the Gospel’

“Fox & Friends” co-anchor Ainsley Earhardt has become a familiar face in TV news, but her children’s books are also inspiring kids and families to see God’s power in their lives.

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” That popular Scripture, Jeremiah 29:11, is at the heart of Earhardt’s new project, “I’m So Glad You Were Born: Celebrating Who You Are,” a children’s book inspired by a faith-affirming message from her own childhood.

“When I was growing up, my mother, on our birthdays, would say, ‘I’m so glad you were born,’ and that was her message to us. So, one day, I was on air and I said it and all of the crew and my co-anchors started laughing on ‘Fox & Friends,'” Earhardt told “The 700 Club.” And I said, ‘I know it sounds funny, and I know you’ve probably never heard that before, but think about it. It’s your birthday. It’s the day that you were born. It’s a very special—you’re going to contribute to this earth, to this world and God’s going to use you in a mighty way.'”

Watch Earhardt discuss her latest book:

That’s a biblical message of purpose and meaning Earhardt has passed on to her own daughter as well, and one she’s now bringing to the masses with the release of “I’m So Glad You Were Born,” encouraging people to find their worth in the Lord, and to persist and triumph through difficult times.

We asked Earhardt why it’s so important that we remind people at an early age that they do have a God-ordained purpose.

“Because we are going to have hard times,” she replied. “We’re going to have ups and downs in life, and you’re going to have valleys and you’re going to have mountains. But through it all, God says, ‘Take heart, I have overcome the world.’ And I love that Scripture, because it reminds me that, no matter what you’re going through, He has already overcome it.”

Earhardt says she’s honored God has chosen her to share His message with adults and children alike.

“I really feel like God chose me for this position because He wanted me to be bold and wanted me to share the Gospel,” she said. “And Fox allows that and now, with these children’s books, sharing the message to children to the next generation, which is so important, is just such an honor.” {eoa}

‘State of Theology’ Reveals A Falling Away from Biblical Truths

John 14:6 says, “I am the Way, the Truth and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”

Jesus rightfully claimed His place as Truth. His words are true, as are the words found within the Christian Bible.

That is why it is so disturbing to view the results of 2022’s ‘State of Theology’ survey. This research has been conducted every two years by Ligonier Ministries and Lifeway Research since 2014.

The results, while disheartening for believing Christians who hold onto biblical truths, shine a light on the causation of American culture moving away from God. It is because self-proclaimed Christians are losing faith in His unerring Word.

Below are several of the areas that caused concern among the survey researchers, as the results show a departure from Scripture:

  • God learns and adapts to different circumstances

A disturbingly high 51% of adults and 48% of evangelicals agreed with this statement. The researchers of this survey expressed dismay in their discovery by explaining their position:

“Despite the clear teaching of Scripture, this year’s survey reveals that approximately half of evangelicals believe that God learns and adapts to various situations, meaning that they believe that God does change.”

Hebrews 13:8-9a addresses this error in belief directly when it states, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, and today, and forever. Do not be carried away with diverse and strange doctrines.”

It is a telling phrase that warns of “diverse doctrines.” Many today are committing atrocities against children, spreading racial division and twisting the Word of God, all in the name of diversity.

  • Everyone is born innocent in the eyes of God

This question saw a staggering 71% of U.S. adults and 65% of evangelicals agree with this statement. These beliefs open the possibility that there could be another like Jesus, because if we are born innocent then it is theoretically possible to live a life without sin. This statement is also refuted by the Bible in several places. Romans 3:23 states, “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.”

This means that yes, even children have sinned because they are physically born into a ‘sin world.’ The Earth suffers from the curse of sin that Adam and Eve allowed in when they succumbed to temptation. Nothing will be able to remove that curse until the Lord ushers in a “new heaven and a new earth” and sin is no more.

The researchers also note that Ephesians 2 verse 3 addresses this as well:

“God’s Word, however, makes clear that all humans are ‘by nature children of wrath.’ This truth is foundational for an accurate understanding of the gospel and of our absolute need for the grace of God in salvation.”

  • Jesus was a great teacher, but He was not God

Perhaps the most disturbing trend found in this survey of , evangelical Christians is the increase of those who agree with the above statement. In 2020, 30% of evangelicals agreed with this statement. Now, in 2022, that number jumped to 43%. This shocking result shows that many who claim to be followers of Christ, are in fact no such thing. The researchers summed this stunning revelation up as a denial in Jesus’ divinity:

“This year’s survey also revealed a significant increase in evangelicals who deny Jesus’ divinity. Such a belief is contrary to Scripture, which affirms from beginning to end that Jesus is indeed God (John 1:1; 8:58; Rom. 9:5; Heb. 1:1-4).

The sad reality is that this survey’s findings are being displayed in American culture for all to see. The sexualization of children, the apostacy within the church, division at every level of government and so much more show a lack or removal of God at every level of society, including within the church.

Christians in America can no longer say these attacks on God Himself occur other places, but not here. The is at the American churches doorstep and will not stop. There are many who still believe the unerring Word of God, and those faithful must stand up and speak the Word to the world.

Jesus is the remedy to the symptoms of sin this world is experiencing. The gospel must be preached in its entirety if Christians are to see the world changed radically back towards God and experience life changing revival.

Sharks in the Streets, Houses Floating Away as Ian Leaves Mass Devastation

It’s the fifth strongest hurricane to ever hit the American mainland, trapping people in flooded homes amid rising floodwaters.

Many who refused to evacuate probably wished they had.

Hurricane Ian made landfall as a Category 4 storm with 150 mile-per-hour top winds, striking Charlotte harbor, south of Tampa, sending a storm surge of 12 to 18 feet through the cities of Fort Myers and Naples.

Fort Myers was left under 4 to 5 feet of water, and half the streets of Naples are impassable.

Sharks were seen swimming in the streets. Video showed a door in Naples blown in from the water. Large boats were pushed around like toys. Houses were seen floating away.

The storm dumped as much as a foot of rain on some cities as it barreled across the Florida Peninsula.

Flash flooding is now a concern as it’s expected to drop at least 30 inches of rain in some areas.

The first floor of a Naples fire station was inundated under more than 3 feet of water as firefighters worked to salvage equipment.

Ian will be remembered as one of the worst storms to ever hit the state of Florida, knocking out power to 2.5 million people. But Florida Governor Ron DeSantis says that number is going to grow.

“You’re going to see more power outages as this storm moves through the center part of our state and before it exits into the Atlantic,” DeSantis said.

Before Ian hit, 42,000 linemen were already in place, ready to restore power in 30 different areas across the state.

Rescue teams and state officials are fanning out to help victims and begin assessing damage.

Operation Blessing has already begun assisting in the emergency from their base in Ocala.

Alan Motes with Operation Blessing said, “We’re preparing some pallets of buckets for cleaning, we have plenty of pallets of water also for distribution, and then we have pallets of tarps, all those included in the trucks we’ll be sending out. We have chainsaws and plenty of people who know how to operate those chainsaws, so in the case that we need to do any downed trees or anything of that nature, we’re prepared to help.”

Now a tropical storm, Ian has moved into the Atlantic and is expected to make landfall again in Georgia or South Carolina this weekend, bringing heavy winds, rain and storm surge. {eoa}

Second, pray for revival.
