Jack Hibbs Answers the End-Times Bible Questions Christians Are Afraid to Ask
Pastor Jack Hibbs is tackling some of Christianity’s strangest—and most consequential—questions, from America’s place in Bible prophecy to the rise of the Antichrist and whether believers can actually calculate when the rapture will occur.
During a rapid-fire question-and-answer session, Hibbs was given approximately 60 seconds to respond to questions he had not seen beforehand. Yet amid questions about spiritual gifts, healing, demons and salvation, several answers carried an unmistakable end-times urgency.
Perhaps most striking was a question Christians have debated for decades: Where is America in Bible prophecy?
Hibbs’ answer was simple: Scripture doesn’t tell us.
“It is amazing that the most powerful, most wealthy, most free, most Christian, most everything nation that has ever existed ever is not in the Bible,” Hibbs said.
While acknowledging believers can carefully speculate about America’s prophetic future, he rejected attempts to identify the United States with references such as the “young lions” of Ezekiel 38 or biblical imagery involving an eagle.
That wasn’t the only prophetic assumption Hibbs challenged.
Asked whether Israel’s rebirth on May 14, 1948, combined with the biblical description of a generation as 70 to 80 years could mean the rapture must happen by May 14, 2028, Hibbs pushed back.
“You can’t pinpoint what a generation is,” he said, noting Scripture uses the concept differently in different contexts.
Instead, Hibbs believes Israel’s restoration carries another prophetic message: The Jewish people will remain until Christ returns.
“You can’t pick a day, you can’t even pick a year,” Hibbs said. “Now, I do believe that we’ll know the times and the seasons.”
Yet Hibbs believes Christians may witness other startling prophetic developments.
When asked whether believers could see the 10 kings of Bible prophecy emerge before the rapture, Hibbs acknowledged the possibility.

“If I had to guess, like a hard guess, I would say no, but I have to tell you I’m not going to freak out if I do,” he said.
Hibbs described a scenario in which a collapse of existing global powers could produce 10 major rulers. If that happens, he said Christians should recognize the prophetic significance because Scripture describes the Antichrist arising among those rulers.
“If you see 10 rulers replace the world governments,” Hibbs said, “that means, man, we are so close to the end.”
But prophecy wasn’t Hibbs’ only warning.
He also confronted casual Christianity, rejecting the idea that someone can knowingly refuse to follow Christ while treating salvation as “fire insurance.”
“You don’t follow Jesus, you don’t walk the Christian life, but you believe,” Hibbs said, distinguishing intellectual acknowledgment of Jesus from genuine faith.
His answers ultimately pointed toward the same message: Christians should not obsess over calculating dates while ignoring the condition of their own hearts.
Whether discussing the rapture, spiritual warfare, healing or salvation, Hibbs continually brought the conversation back to Scripture.
The challenge for believers is not to decode every mystery before it happens.
It is to know the Word, discern the times and be ready for Christ whenever He comes.
