Chuck Pierce: A Warrior Anointing Is Rising for This Critical Hour

As believers step into the biblical month of Elul, Chuck Pierce says this is not the time to shrink back when resistance comes. Instead, it may be the very moment to contend for greater access, enlarged territory and increased kingdom influence.

During a recent First fruits celebration, Pierce connected the biblical significance of Elul with a powerful message about moving beyond opposition and stepping into the territory God has assigned.

“It’s about gaining access this month,” Pierce said. “Biblically, how will you gain access into the next place that you need to be?”

For Pierce, understanding the season begins with putting God first. He described first fruits as more than simply an offering, saying the practice continually redirects believers toward the source of everything they possess.

“First fruit reminds us … that God is the source of all things,” Pierce said, pointing to Jesus’ command to seek first the kingdom of God.

That kingdom-first posture, he explained, keeps believers spiritually alert rather than allowing months to pass without intentionally seeking the Lord. It also brings them back to their “first love,” releases revelation and builds confidence in God’s provision.

But Pierce’s message carried another important warning: Expect resistance.

He told believers to pay close attention to what God reveals during Elul, especially announcements or developments that could affect their lives.

“This month has a lot of resistance in it,” Pierce said. “And the Lord says, ‘I’m going to show you how to get past the resistance that’s going to come up against you.’”

Pierce connected Elul with Nehemiah’s completion of Jerusalem’s wall despite determined opposition. Once the wall was finished, the next assignment was to establish the gates—the places controlling access in and out.

That imagery became the foundation for Pierce’s challenge to believers: What access is God preparing to give you next?

Yet access is only part of the picture.

Pierce also emphasized enlargement.

“Blessed is he that enlarges,” he declared, before encouraging those listening to proclaim, “I’m going to get larger this month.”

Pierce wasn’t talking merely about material increase. He challenged believers to ask God for greater territory and increased influence within the fields where He has positioned them.

“You ask God for a bigger territory,” Pierce said. “You ask God that you have influence in your field.”

Pierce tied that message to the tribe of Gad, which he associated with Elul and described as a tribe marked by territory, warfare and the ability to gather others.

“That portion that I’ve been struggling with, I’m taking new land this month,” Pierce told believers to declare.

Gad, he said, possessed a “warrior anointing” and an ability to raise up a troop.

And that is where Pierce’s message moved beyond individual breakthrough and toward something much larger.

“If ever we need to have the kingdom troops gather to influence this nation,” Pierce said, “it needs to be right now.”

The message for this season, then, is not one of retreat.

Resistance may be present. Battles may still need to be fought. But Pierce’s challenge is clear: Seek God first, listen for His direction, contend for access and prepare to take new territory.
