Especially close to him is his 11-year-old son, Jesse, whom he lovingly calls a “carbon copy” of himself.
Janson doesn’t shy away from his values, either. “I love my wife, I love my kids… I love hunting and fishing… I love everything that goes along with it,” he said. “It’s not just about the harvest. It’s really just about the experience, mostly.”

His love for nature reflects something deeply biblical.
God created the earth not just to sustain us, but to share with us—inviting us to find joy, peace and connection with Him through His creation. As Genesis 1:31 (MEV) says, “God saw everything that He had made, and indeed it was very good.”
When we step into the woods, cast a line into the water or watch the sunrise with our children, we’re participating in that goodness.

Sometimes you read something and have to double-check that it’s not satire. The University of Richmond in Virginia is now offering a class called the “Queer Bible.”
Yes, you read that right.
According to the course description, it “brings together queer theory, sexuality and the Bible in order to explore what it means to ‘queer’ the Bible and biblical interpretations.”
This is not a joke. It’s an actual college-level course being offered at a university in the United States.

As reported by Campus Reform, the course readings “include both biblical texts and queer and trans scholarship on the Bible.” Students will tackle topics such as “queer hermeneutics, queer time, queer affect and queer pleasure in the Bible.”
The class is led by Professor Rhiannon Graybill, who serves on the Women, Gender & Sexuality Studies Advisory Board. Graybill also authored “Are We Not Men?: Unstable Masculinity in the Hebrew Prophets,” a book that claims “prophetic masculinity is queer masculinity.”
And Richmond isn’t alone. Wellesley College has its own “Queer Bible” course, and the University of Central Florida is hosting a “Queer Christian Fellowship” with weekly “discussion groups around the topic ‘Queer Interpretation of Scripture.’”

God’s design for humanity is not up for debate in a college classroom, and certainly not something to be reimagined through the lens of modern sexual confusion.
The more the world tries to reshape Scripture to suit its own brokenness, the more we see the signs that the time is drawing near. Jesus Himself said that in the end times, deception would abound.
We are living in those days. And now more than ever, believers must stand on the truth of God’s unchanging Word—unapologetically and without compromise.

As the Daily Mail noted, 49-year-old Guardia was convicted for burglary and stalking Marie Columna, who was a member of the church, originally founded by Jerry Falwell.

Back in 2016, Columna reported Guardia’s strange behavior, which she says began following her separation and divorce.
“At times, I would pull up to my house, and he was already on my steps. It felt like there was no way of getting from him,” Columna says.

While years had gone by without direct contact between the two, Guardia did the unthinkable. Columna says Guardia’s intrusion on her life finally escalated when he broke into her home in 2023 while she was gone, which she discovered from her home’s security camera footage.
“I was out of state with my children visiting a friend, and I got a notification on my phone that a person was in my light was off, and he was using the flashlight on his phone. It was very clear that he knew exactly where he was,” Columna says.
This disturbing incident is a sobering reminder of the need for vigilance and discernment within the body of Christ. The tragic betrayal of trust reveals how easily we can be deceive if we are not spiritually alert. Yet, even in the face of such failures, we must not lose heart. Instead, let this be a call to genuine faith—a faith that pursues holiness, accountability and unwavering devotion to the true Shepherd, Jesus Christ.

“We as Christians have got to exercise it, but how do you exercise love?” he asks. “You have to exercise the qualities of love, but you also have to forgive. You have to walk in appreciation and you have to do what Jesus told us to do in Matthew 25:35: ‘I was hungry and you fed me. I was thirsty and you gave me drink. I was in prison and you visited me. I was naked and you clothed me.'”
Forgiveness, according to Colbert, is a form of protection from spiritual and emotional torment. “If you don’t forgive, you literally unleash the tormentors,” he says.

Finally, Colbert encourages believers to follow the apostle Paul’s example. Despite enduring hardships, Paul chose to forgive and forget. “Forgetting those things that are behind,” Colbert quotes Philippians 3, “I press toward the goal to the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus,” (Modern English Version).
Dr. Colbert’s message serves as a powerful reminder that forgiveness is more than a spiritual principle—it’s a key to physical health. When we choose to release bitterness and walk in love, we free our bodies from the damaging effects of stress, bitterness and resentment. Unforgiveness can open the door to physical ailments, while forgiving others can lead to healing and restoration. Letting go of past hurts is not only an act of obedience to God but also a step toward emotional freedom and physical vitality.

In a powerful message filled with passion and prophetic urgency, Isaiah Saldivar called believers to embrace holiness and spiritual boldness, declaring that God is preparing His people for a mighty move of His Spirit. With fiery conviction, Saldivar warned against complacency and challenged the church to return to biblical standards of purity and power.
“One of the most dangerous things that can happen to a believer is that you lose your passion for Jesus,” Saldivar said. “You lose your love for God, and you think you’re OK.”

He encourages his audience to be vigilant and to recognize the Holy Spirit’s presence in their lives. “Don’t grieve the Holy Spirit by letting the passion die. You have to keep your heart burning, your soul burning for God.”
Throughout the gathering, Saldivar painted a clear picture of what revival requires: a consecrated, set-apart people. “God wants you to burn with passion for Him. If you’ve lost your passion, if you’ve gotten lukewarm, it’s time to get back to that place where you’re burning for Jesus again.”
As Saldivar boldly declares, the Holy Spirit desires to keep the flame of passion alive within every believer, urging them to draw near and keep the fire of faith burning brightly. This call for holiness is perhaps one of the most misunderstood parts about our Christian faith today, yet it is one of the key parts of the faith. In this day and age, perhaps this is the moment in which we need to draw closer to God than ever before as we face the uncertain circumstances of the end times.

Sometimes, sports give us more than just a win or a loss—they give us a story that resonates on a deeper level. That’s exactly what happened at the NCAA wrestling championships when Oklahoma State University’s Wyatt Hendrickson shocked the world.
As reported by The Blaze, Hendrickson, a United States Air Force second lieutenant and a humble young man of faith, did the unthinkable. He took down Gable Steveson—Olympic gold medalist, two-time national champion and a dominant force on the mat with a 70-match winning streak—in what’s being called “the biggest upset in collegiate wrestling history.”
With just 23 seconds left, Hendrickson was down by two points. Then came the takedown. A final score of 5-4, and just like that, the mighty had fallen. The crowd was stunned—but the celebration was just getting started.

What followed made the moment even more memorable. Hendrickson stood up, pointed to President Donald Trump and saluted him. Then he walked straight over, shook the president’s hand and embraced him in a hug.
“He said he’s very proud of me,” Hendrickson later told ESPN. “That’s my commander-in-chief; I’m very proud of that. He came here to support his troops; I put on a show for him and I won that national title.”

But it wasn’t just about wrestling or politics. For Hendrickson, his victory was soaked in faith and divine providence. At the post-match press conference, he gave thanks not just to his family but to the One who strengthened him: “my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, for blessing me.”
Reflecting on the final moments of the match, Hendrickson said, “In that last shot, I was in on that leg and there was a little extra push behind me to get that takedown. I don’t think that was by chance.”

Earlier that week, at church, Hendrickson had listened to a sermon on David and Goliath. He carried that message with him onto the mat: “David had a vision of victory before he stepped on the mat… Even though he went after Goliath and everyone was like, ‘This can’t be done,’ he had a mind of a champion.” Hendrickson knew that the real battle was in the mind and the heart—where faith is forged.
This wasn’t just a sports victory—it was a powerful testament to what faith, humility and courage can accomplish. In front of a nation, a wrestler glorified God, honored his president and proved that giants can fall.
We live in a world that’s desperate for stories of hope and grit, Wyatt Hendrickson gave us one for the ages—and he made sure the name of Jesus was glorified in the process.

Let’s be honest. This crisis didn’t start a few months ago with a bad election cycle. It’s been building for years. Decades, even. Back in 2012, the Democratic Party made headlines when they literally removed God from their official platform. That wasn’t just a political move—it was a spiritual declaration. And now? They’re reaping the consequences.
Even liberal outlets like Axios are admitting that the party is unraveling.
Props to Axios for some honest reporting on the state of the Democrat Party.
Most of the media is trying to convince the American people that it’s Republicans who have big problems, but this is the reality.

One segment of their recent coverage quotes Democratic strategist David Shor, who observed: “Young people have gone from being the most progressive generation… to becoming potentially the most conservative generation that we’ve experienced maybe in 50 to 60 years.”
That’s not just a political shift—it’s a spiritual wake-up call.

When a nation, a party or a people turn their backs on God, Scripture is crystal clear about what follows. Romans 1:28 (MEV) says:
“And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not proper.”
We’re seeing this played out in real-time. The Democratic Party has embraced chaos in the streets over conviction in the heart. They’ve elevated ideology above truth. And the results are evident: loss of support among working-class voters, immigrants and even young people who are fed up with empty promises and spiritual voids.
Psalm 9:17 (MEV) offers a sober reminder:
“The wicked shall be turned to Sheol, and all the nations that forget God.”

It’s no wonder the Democratic Party is splintering. When you abandon the very foundation of truth, you lose your ability to lead. The American people—especially the younger generation—are hungry for purpose, stability and truth. And it turns out, they’re starting to look elsewhere for it.
The Democrats’ problem isn’t just about votes. It’s about values. And until they return to acknowledging God, no amount of political rebranding will fix the hole in their foundation.

At last week’s SXSW conference, prominent transhumanist Eliezer Yudkowsky said that if the development of artificial general intelligence is not stopped immediately across the globe, humanity may be destroyed.
“We must stop everything,” Yudkowsky said during a panel titled “How to Make AGI (Artificial General Intelligence) Not Kill Everyone.”
“We are not ready,” he continued. “We do not have the technological capability to design a super intelligent AI that is polite, obedient and aligned with human intentions – and we are nowhere close to achieving that.”
Yudkowsky, founder of the Machine Intelligence Research Institute, has made similar comments in recent years, repeatedly warning that humanity must cease all work on AGI or face human extinction.

In a 2023 article in Time magazine, Yudkowsky said that no current AGI project had a feasible plan to align AGI with the interests of humanity.
“We are not ready,” Yudkowsky wrote. “We are not on track to be significantly readier in the foreseeable future. If we go ahead on this everyone will die, including children who did not choose this and did not do anything wrong.”
He argued that a “moratorium on new large training runs needs to be indefinite and worldwide,” that we must “make immediate multinational agreements to prevent the prohibited activities,” and even “be willing to destroy a rogue datacenter by airstrike.”
A well-known figure in the field of AI safety, Yudkowsky is the only prominent voice in the field calling for a complete and indefinite shutdown of current AGI research.
Despite these warnings, Yudkowsky still believes AGI should be pursued – he simply advocates for a different path, which he believes will not destroy mankind.
During an interview in January, Yudkowsky said that “intelligence-augmented humans” could potentially develop AGI safely.
In the scenario he envisions, humans are “probably building a super engineer, and maybe using that to upload themselves into computers, so that they can keep on working for this for another thousand years without the world burning down in the meantime.”

“They’re running faster inside there, and so from our perspective, it’s like only a day or three days, and then out comes the superintelligence that is actually supposed to be nice, and then we live happily ever after,” he added.
To put it plainly, Yudkowsky believes that today’s AI developers are simply not smart enough to develop an AGI that won’t destroy humanity.
His solution, then, is an enforced global ban on AGI development, until we can technologically alter a group of humans to be intelligent enough to create safe, human-aligned AGI, enabling humanity’s “happily ever after.”
Though pitting himself against the world’s leading AGI developers, Yudkowsky’s vision of reality is not deeply different than theirs.
Raised in Modern Orthodox Judaism, Yudkowsky is now an atheist and transhumanist.
At the basis of his worldview is a materialistic universe with no souls, angels, demons or God.
Yet, like all transhumanists, his religious impulse remains, as he longs for the creation of godlike beings through technology, and to become godlike himself.
He even declares that, were it the only way, he would be willing to sacrifice all of humanity for the creation of digital gods who “still care about each other.”
“If sacrificing all of humanity were the only way, and a reliable way, to get…godlike things out there, superintelligences who still care about each other, who are still aware of the world and are still having fun, I would ultimately make that trade-off,” Yudkowsky stated in the aforementioned interview.
He stressed, however, that “that is utterly not the trade-off we are faced with,” and “worthy successors [to human beings] will not kill us.”
Still, this comment shows where his ultimate values lie.
For him, the human person possesses an intrinsic value inferior to that of a digital superintelligence.
Eliezer Yudkowsky is keenly aware of the Babel-like hubris of our world’s current technological elite, and his call for the global cessation of AGI research is a welcome contrast to our leaders’ reckless rush to create digital gods.
Yet, his actions stem from the fear that humanity will be destroyed by such digital gods.
As Christians, however, we know that the rebellious rulers of our world cannot overthrow that which God has decreed.

While they may cause great destruction, they will not thwart the prophesied eschaton [end time events].
God has permitted the great technological and religious shifts that are currently taking place in our world.
Our task is neither to escape them nor to defeat them through our own strength – rather, it is to humbly participate in the life of God through the Messiah, in whose love we are “more than conquerors” (Romans 8:37).
And though Yudkowsky hopes “to be a posthuman someday,” we worshipers of the incarnate God know that our human nature is not meant to be escaped, replaced or transcended.
It is meant to be transfigured.
