Ministers Who Walk in Shallow Faith Are Doomed to Fail—Here’s Why

If the pastor walks in shallow faith, likely the congregation will, too.

Recently returned from his trip to Israel, Pastor Greg Locke of Global Bible Vision Church in Lebanon, Tennessee, gave a powerful message to his congregation about why it is so vital to be filled up by the Holy Spirit day after day, especially for ministers.

Breaking News. Spirit-Filled Stories. Subscribe to Charisma on YouTube now!

“I’m not going to be lukewarm just because everybody else in America wants to be lukewarm,” Locke says. “God is sending out that lukewarm crowd, that loveless crowd, that powerless crowd that unbaptized by the Holy Ghost crowd.”

Locke makes it clear that what is needed in the American church is the presence of God. He believes that we cannot have more of the power of His Spirit without being receptive to His presence above all else.

Locke points out that if someone can go to a church year after year without ever hearing the gospel, feeling a sense of community and receiving healing and deliverance, then that is a reflection of a particular church not moving in the power of the Holy Spirit.

“The only people who get mad at fired up churches are dead ones,” Pastor Locke says. They’re the only people complaining about demons and healing and supernatural and baptisms and praying in tongues.

Ultimately, a minister must be willing to bring in the presence of God. And a minster can only pour out to others what he has to give.

“The church can never grow beyond my depth. As a congregation, If I’m shallow, I’ll preach shallow. If I’m lukewarm, I’ll project it. You see, I can only transmit to you what I have myself,” Locke says.

Above all, the church is to be a place where people who are starving for the light of the gospel can come and be set free.

“The necessity of ushering in God’s presence is hungriness,” Locke says. “May God give us hungry congregations and congregants in this church.”

As Locke boldly declares, a congregation can only go as deep as its shepherd. When ministers prioritize God’s presence and power, they create a spiritual atmosphere where healing, deliverance and genuine transformation flourish. May the church in America rise from spiritual slumber and hunger once again for the fullness of God’s Spirit.

One Word Changed Everything for Peter, and It Can for You, Too

In a bold, thought-provoking video that’s turning heads in the Christian community, pastor and speaker Kelly K challenges believers to rethink one of the Bible’s most iconic moments, Peter walking on water.

“Hey Christians, you better brace yourself today,” Kelly K opens. “I’m about to challenge your thinking concerning one of your favorite Bible stories, and at first, you’re not going to like it. But stick with me, we’re going somewhere.”

At first glance, it sounds like he’s about to deny Scripture.

But not so fast.

“No, I’m not saying the Bible is incorrect at all,” he clarifies. “I just think we can go a little deeper in our understanding of what’s actually happening in this story.”

Breaking NewsSpirit-Filled Stories. Subscribe to Charisma on YouTube now!

Referencing Jesus’ words in Matthew 7:24, “Anyone who listens to my teaching and follows it is wise, like a person who builds their house on solid rock,” Kelly K draws a powerful parallel. He explains that the true foundation of our lives isn’t something flashy or visible, but something secure: the Word of God.

“The foundation is the part of the house no one ever sees but everyone needs. It’s not pretty. It’s not flashy. It’s just a slab of rock. But that rock holds everything in place,” he says.

So what does all of this have to do with Peter stepping out of the boat?

Kelly K connects the dots: “Is water a solid foundation? Does water seem, act, sound, look anything like rock to you? Of course not.”

But the game-changer, he says, is what Jesus spoke.

“The truth is this, my friends: the reason you and I failed when we tried to walk on water is because Jesus never told us to. If He did — oh son, we would have.”

And that’s the point. Peter didn’t walk on water by sheer faith alone. He walked in obedience to a direct command.

“Peter never actually walked on water,” Kelly K says. “He walked on the Word of God.”

When Peter said, “Lord, if it’s really you, tell me to come,” Jesus gave a simple but life-altering response: “Come.”

“That right there is all it took,” Kelly K emphasizes. “One word from Jesus changed everything. One word from Jesus made the impossible possible. One word from Jesus made something weak something strong.”

The heart of Kelly K’s message isn’t about debunking a miracle, it’s about reframing how we understand faith. It’s not about stepping out blindly; it’s about stepping out when He speaks.

“He wants you to be a doer of the Word, not just a hearer,” Kelly K urges. “Because it should come as no surprise to each and every one of you that the storms of life aren’t about if they will come — it’s about when they’re going to come.”

In those storms, he says, the only sure foundation is the Word of God.

“His Word is our life,” he says, quoting Psalm 119:25: “‘My soul clings to the dust. Give me life according to your Word.’ Oh son, that’s good.”

For Kelly K, the bottom line is simple, “That life, my friends, is found in one place alone: His Word.”

And that’s something worth standing on.

Still Waiting on God? Here’s Why That’s Exactly Where You Should Be

Have you ever felt stuck in a “not yet” season of life? You’re praying, you’re hoping, you’re waiting—but nothing seems to change. If that’s you, Christian content creator Dayne Kamela has a message that might just reframe how you see this time.

In a recent livestream titled “How to Stay Faithful in the Waiting Season,” Kamela spoke openly about his own long road of obedience and spiritual development.

“Some of God’s best work is done in seasons just like this,” he says. “Because He is your reward. Jesus is your reward.”

Breaking NewsSpirit-Filled Stories. Subscribe to Charisma on YouTube now!

Kamela, who has been sharing his faith online for more than five years, encourages believers not to waste the quiet seasons. “He wants your time. He wants your attention. He wants your devotion to Him,” Kamela says. “And I believe one of the ways that we move from a waiting season… into a season where God starts to move in powerful ways is in direct proportion to how much time you’re willing to spend with Him.”

Rather than chase answers or compare your timeline to others, Kamela offers this simple reminder: “If you make Him your delight, if you make Him the most important thing, He will do such a good work in you.”

He knows what it’s like to wait. Kamela recalled his early days creating YouTube videos, when his channel was just getting 10 to 20 views. “It wasn’t about any of that during that time. God wanted to work on me,” he said. “This season isn’t going to be a year, it’s not going to be five years. It’s going to be a decade of Me developing you.”

That decade, he says, laid the foundation for what he’s doing now.

Throughout the livestream, Kamela shared several Scriptures to encourage listeners in their waiting:

  • Isaiah 40:31: “But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength… they will walk and not faint.”
  • Psalm 27:14: “Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous.”
  • Psalm 130:5: “I am counting on the Lord… I have put my hope in His word.”
  • Ephesians 3:20: “Now all glory to God who is able… to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.”

But Kamela’s message isn’t just about spiritual development. It was about identity.

“You’ve got access to the most important thing,” he says, referring to the presence of the Holy Spirit. “Don’t let the world convince you that you are missing something… Your identity is in Christ. You are a son or daughter of the Most High God.”

He also emphasizes the importance of a personal, private relationship with God, citing Matthew 6:6, “When you pray, go away by yourself, shut the door behind you, and pray to your Father in private… then your Father, who sees everything, will reward you,” he reads.

At the heart of Kamela’s message is a challenge—and an invitation.

“Do you trust God’s timing more than your own?” he asks. “This is what it means to be a follower of Christ. We spend time with Him every day. We get to know how He lived His life and go and be an ambassador for that.”

Whether you’re waiting on a breakthrough, a relationship or a sense of purpose, Kamela offers a message of encouragement: “Some of God’s best work is done in seasons just like this… You are not alone. Jesus is your reward.”

Satanist Leader Arrested After Physical Altercation at Kansas State Capitol

A self-proclaimed Satanist leader was arrested Friday morning following a physical altercation at the Kansas State Capitol during a controversial “Black Mass” event.

Michael Stewart, founder of the Satanic Grotto, was taken into custody at the Statehouse in Topeka after getting into a shoving match with another individual, according to WIBW News.

Video footage posted by CatholicVote shows Stewart raising his arms as another person appeared to grab something from his hand. Moments later, Stewart threw a punch, escalating into a physical confrontation before law enforcement officers intervened and tackled him to the ground.

“I’m not resisting. I’m not resisting. I’m not resisting,” Stewart repeatedly yelled.

The Satanic Grotto describes itself as an organization for Satanists and allies who follow the “Left-Hand Path.” Despite law enforcement officials previously warning Stewart that he was welcome inside but could not perform any demonstrations, tensions flared when the event clashed with a much larger group of Christian protesters.

Reports indicate that while roughly 20 people were there in support of the Black Mass, between 300 and 400 protesters gathered to oppose it.

Stewart was charged with unlawful assembly and disorderly conduct, according to the Shawnee County Department of Corrections. The individual involved in the altercation with Stewart, a 21-year-old man, was also arrested, along with several others at the scene.

Before the incident, the Satanist claimed the event was meant to express his group’s “place in the public circle” and share their grievances. However, with widespread opposition and multiple arrests, it’s clear the controversial event stirred more division than dialogue.

Delta Plane Nearly Collides with Air Force Jet Near Reagan National Airport

A Delta Air Lines plane narrowly avoided a midair collision with a U.S. Air Force T-38 jet on Friday near Reagan Washington National Airport, marking another close call just months after a tragic January crash near the airport claimed 67 lives.

According to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Delta Flight 2983 was cleared for takeoff around 3:15 p.m. on March 28 while four T-38 Talon jets were inbound for a ceremonial flyover at Arlington National Cemetery. During its ascent, the Delta aircraft received an onboard alert indicating another aircraft was in close proximity. Air traffic controllers quickly issued corrective instructions to both planes, averting disaster.

“Nothing is more important than the safety of our customers and people,” a Delta spokesperson told Fox News Digital. “That’s why the flight crew followed procedures to maneuver the aircraft as instructed.”

The FAA has launched an investigation into the incident to determine what led to the near-miss and whether any safety protocols need to be adjusted.

Last month, AaJapan Airlines aircraft taxiing at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport collided with a parked Delta Air Lines plane. The incident took place at approximately 10:17 a.m. local time when the wing of the Japan Airlines plane struck the tail of the Delta aircraft. No injuries were reported among passengers or crew members.

Following the collision, emergency response teams and airport personnel assisted in safely deplaning passengers.

The impacted aircraft were removed from the taxiway to prevent disruptions. Airport officials stated that while the collision caused a temporary delay in operations, there were no major cancellations as a result. Passengers were advised to check with their airlines for any potential changes to flight schedules.

Japan Airlines and Delta Air Lines have both launched internal investigations into the cause of the incident. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is also reviewing the event to determine whether any procedural violations or mechanical issues contributed to the collision. Preliminary reports indicate that the Japan Airlines aircraft may have been directed incorrectly by ground control or misjudged its clearance while taxiing.

Lessons on Redemption from Those Serving Life in Prison

The second Friday of every January is called “Quitter’s Day.” It’s a day when massive numbers of people decide to give up on their new start, every year. If you didn’t make it past “Quitter’s Day” this year, or if you’ve just lost momentum in pursuing personal life change, April is actually known as “Second Chance Month” – an opportunity for another fresh start.

People quit on their new life goals at such high rates partly because they misunderstand what it takes to truly restart, to change directions. It isn’t just a matter of willpower, or even resources.

But the Calvin Prison Initiative (CPI) has been working to help prisoners restart their lives for 10 years now. The CPI provides a Christian liberal arts education to incarcerated individuals, who receive a double major over five years if successful. The people who come through our program know better than almost anyone else what it takes to get — and keep — a fresh start.

Breaking NewsSpirit-Filled Stories. Subscribe to Charisma on YouTube now!

In short, it takes relationships. It takes people investing in you. It takes people around you elevating themselves and bringing you with them.

You don’t just need willpower to change your life. You don’t just need resources. You need people, people who want the best for you.

That’s part of why education is such a transformative part of rehabilitating prisoners, and the prison cultures that they help form. Education humanizes and elevates us like nothing else can.

A lot of prisoners have very low self-esteem. They don’t respect themselves, or think they’re capable of much. Additionally, many of them are almost totally unable to reconcile with the guilt and shame over the crimes they’ve committed. But education helps them change that. What’s more, education helps them change the prisons in which they live and work.

The prison where CPI started was called “gladiator school.” It was a rough place. But within 3-4 years of our program, violence had dropped by 80%. An administrator called it “Candyland.” The inmates who were in for life sentences — “lifers,” arguably the most influential inmates in prison cultures — had been transformed, and the prison had been along with it.

These “lifers” had become a cloud of witnesses to everyone else in the prison: You’re not worthless. You’re worth investing in. It had a profound impact on the men who were in for shorter terms.

They saw guys who were in prison for life, with no real chance at leaving prison, working really hard to better themselves. They saw these men come to view themselves and their lives with respect, humility and real repentance. They watched these men let themselves be a new person. And, naturally, they wanted that fresh start for themselves. They saw a path to never becoming just another quitter.

Isaiah Saldivar and Joseph Z: Beware of the Hidden Dangers of Spiritual Oppression!

“These signs will accompany those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; if they drink any deadly thing, it will not hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover,” (Mark 16:17-18).

In a recent podcast with Joseph Z, Isaiah Saldivar shared his remarkable testimony of how God radically transformed his life, and has set him on the path to cast out demons, heal the sick and see people empowered by the Holy Spirit.

Isaiah Saldivar’s journey into deliverance ministry began unexpectedly, emerging from his former life as an atheist with no intention of ministry. In 2011, Isaiah, who had been living a life of partying and sin, was invited to attend a church service. During this service, he had a profound encounter with God. This encounter changed his life forever, leading him to pursue a calling in ministry rather than his initial plan of becoming a police officer.

Initially, Saldivar knew little about deliverance or ministry in general, but soon after this encounter, God began to use him mightily. He started praying for people in his home, and soon demons began to manifest. As his ministry grew, so did the power of the Holy Spirit over his life. He began seeing people healed and set free in miraculous ways, with people coming to him from all over for healing and deliverance.

Get your FREE CHARISMA NEWSLETTERS today! Stay up to date with current issues, Holy Spirit news, Christian teachings, Charisma videos & more!

As his ministry expanded, Saldivar’s experiences of demonic manifestations extended beyond his home. He recalls being in public places, including the gym where a man started growling at him. These experiences reaffirmed that God had called him into deliverance ministry.

“I realized when you get in the presence of will manifest, and when they do, we’ve got to know how to deal with them,” Saldivar says.

Saldivar points out that deliverance is not about rituals the way the Catholic church has always embraced it, but rather, it’s about binding and casting out according to biblical principles. On the flip side, many believers are unaware of the demonic influences that can affect their lives, even after they’ve been saved. He encourages the church to recognize that spiritual warfare is real, and deliverance is a vital part of the Christian journey.

Saldivar’s powerful testimony serves as a call to action, urging Christians not only to seek freedom for themselves but to actively engage in spiritual battles, standing firm in faith and truth.

Amanda Grace Reveals Shocking Prophecy About JD Vance and the Future of America!

In a compelling prophetic message, Amanda Grace shared how the year 2028 just may be a pivotal time in American history aligning with a Jewish leap year and double Purims, marking a time when the Jewish people experienced deliverance. However, there just may be one key figure to how this prophetic word plays out: Vice President J.D. Vance.

As the 50th Vice President of the United States, J.D. Vance is a central figure in this prophecy, with his middle name, David, carrying significant prophetic weight. The Jubilee, a year of freedom and restitution, symbolized by land being restored and slaves being freed, aligns with Vance’s role in this unfolding prophetic season.

Breaking News. Spirit-Filled Stories. Subscribe to Charisma on YouTube now!

Known for his fiery passion and deep convictions, Vance is described as a ‘David’ in the White House, called to lead with authority and spiritual conviction. His rise is compared to a burning bush, enduring the fires of affliction but never consumed, much like the Israelites’ trials in Egypt.

Grace also likens Vance and Trump to Joshua and Moses. Trump, who is leading the country through tumultuous times, is seen by Grace as a Moses figure, guiding our nation through the wilderness. In contrast, Vance is the Joshua, chosen to carry the torch forward, leading the nation into a new era, just as Joshua led the Israelites into the promised land.

Get your FREE CHARISMA NEWSLETTERS today! Stay up to date with current issues, Holy Spirit news, Christian teachings, Charisma videos & more!

“In a way, if you think about this, J.D. Vance is the first president of the United States to be chosen as a successor by Trump. Meaning, he chose J.D. Vance purposely to carry on if something were to happen to him, right? He chose somebody younger, right? And eager and fiery and passionate to carry on if anything should happen to him,” Grace says.

Grace describes Vance as a man of deep thought and conviction, someone who has been through the fire of affliction, and is now prepared to lead. The prophetic imagery of the burning bush in Exodus 3 resonates deeply in this context. The fire of affliction, as seen with Moses and the Israelites, is a symbol of purification and endurance. Just as Trump’s trials have not consumed him, neither will Vance be destroyed by the challenges ahead.

As we reflect on Amanda Grace’s prophetic words, it’s clear that the coming years could be a time of profound transformation for America. Even in the midst of affliction, God’s purposes will prevail, and His people will not be consumed. The future is bright, and the best is yet to come.
