Are You Falling for Rapture Misconceptions? Here’s What You Need to Know Now

In a powerful discussion on SkyWatchTV, Joe Horn and Alan DiDio delve into the topic of the rapture, exploring its significance for believers today. Together, they address misconceptions about the rapture and provide key insights into how the rapture is not just a future event but a daily call to live with purpose, urgency and anticipation of Christ’s glorious return.

The Rapture Does Not Promote Complacency

At its core, the rapture represents a transformative event in which believers are caught up to meet Jesus Christ in the air. This moment signifies the redemption of God’s people, where Christians receive their glorified bodies. This is not just an escape from the world’s troubles but a divine moment of completion. The rapture signals the end of pain, sickness and death, as believers are made perfect in the presence of God.

A common misunderstanding about this event is that pre-tribulation theory leads to spiritual complacency, resulting in believers disengaging from their responsibilities on Earth. However, DiDio believes that this is a genuine misunderstanding of what is to come.

“True rapture teaching causes you to engage in society,” DiDio says. “It’s like a two-minute warning that it’s time to pick up the pace and occupy until Jesus comes.”

The understanding of the rapture calls for urgency and active engagement in the world. It’s not about waiting idly for the return of Christ but living in a way that reflects His imminent return. Christians are urged to remain active in their faith, working for the kingdom while keeping an eye on the promise of Christ’s return.

Living with Urgency

Rather than fostering a passive faith, the doctrine of the rapture should encourage believers to live with a sense of purpose and swiftness. This sense of urgency isn’t about fear, but about eagerly preparing for the return of Jesus while being diligent in fulfilling the call to spread the message of salvation. It’s a complete misunderstanding and misuse of our lives as Christians if we do not see these end times as our chance to go and preach the Gospel to all creation.

“We need to get people to fall in love with His appearing,” DiDio says. “I want this generation to fall in love with His appearing.”

A Life Transformed by the Hope of His Return

Living with the expectation of the rapture doesn’t just affect how we wait; it influences how we live. The hope of Christ’s return should purify believers, encouraging them to live righteous lives. It’s a hope that inspires a deeper love for His appearing, motivating believers to engage in kingdom work while eagerly anticipating the moment when they will be united with Christ forever.

The rapture isn’t merely an event to wait for—it’s a call to live with purpose, urgency and readiness, making the most of each moment while eagerly anticipating the glorious return of our Savior.

Coulier also told Parade magazine before the announcement he is no longer sick that he had recently undergone a biopsy of a lymph node in his neck.

“[My wife] Melissa and I waited for a week to get the biopsy results back, and there is no sign of cancer,” he told the outlet, noting, at the time, he was still waiting on other results. “One of the few times in my life when ‘zero’ has been a great number to hear.”

As CBN News previously noted, Coulier, known for portraying beloved character Joey Gladstone (. “Uncle Joey”), learned of the diagnosis in October after struggling with an upper respiratory infection.

The comedian, who reprised his role in “Fuller House,” airing on Netflix from 2016-2020, told People how he found out about the shocking diagnosis.

Swelling of lymph nodes sparked concern and doctors ordered PET and CT scans, which revealed the cancer. Coulier said he has the rare B cell lymphoma type — a “very aggressive” form.

“I went from, ‘I got a little bit of a head cold’ to ‘I have cancer,’ and it was pretty overwhelming,” he told People at the time. “This has been a really fast roller coaster ride of a journey.”

Coulier also spoke candidly with People about how he reacted to finding out — and why he’s remarkably calm.

You Won’t Believe How Today’s Society Lines Up with End-Times Prophecy

There was a time when children played outside without fear, neighbors looked out for one another, and biblical morality was the cultural norm. At least, that’s how Pastor Jimmy Evans remembers it.

“These are dangerous times, like we’ve never seen before,” Evans said during a recent episode of Tipping Point. “There’s just never been a period of time in human history that we see the world the way it is right now.”

Born in 1953, Evans reminisced about his childhood when “you never had any concept that anybody was going to harm you. Your neighbors were all Christians, your teachers were all Christians… There just wasn’t a sense of danger and immorality.”

Breaking NewsSpirit-Filled Stories. Subscribe to Charisma on YouTube now!

Fast-forward to today, and Evans paints a starkly different picture.

“Kids are getting snatched off their front yards,” he said. “Parents have to just vigilantly guard after their children, and now because of the internet, the worst people on earth are stalking our children and our homes.”

To Evans, this moral decline is not just troubling—it’s prophetic.

He pointed to Luke 17, where Jesus compares the end times to the days of Noah and Lot. “They ate, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage… until the day that Noah entered the ark and the flood came and destroyed them all,” he read.

The common thread, Evans explained, is the “business as usual attitude of sinners.” People go about life, ignoring warnings, while immorality festers unchecked—until judgment suddenly comes.

Evans cited Genesis 6 to describe Noah’s day: “The earth also was filled with violence… for all flesh had corrupted their way on the earth.” The Hebrew word used for “corrupt,” shakath, means evil, filthy and immoral.

Likewise, in Lot’s time, “Sodom and Gomorrah were known for rampant homosexuality,” Evans said. “That’s where we get the word ‘Sodom.’” He quoted 2 Peter 2, where Lot was “oppressed by the filthy conduct of the wicked” and “tormented his righteous soul from day to day by seeing and hearing their lawless deeds.”

“This is our world,” Evans said bluntly.

Quoting 2 Timothy 3, Evans warned that the apostle Paul’s description of end-times humanity is no longer a warning for the future—it’s a headline for today. “Men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers… lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God.”

Evans noted the rapid descent into “moral chaos,” especially over the last two decades with the rise of the internet. “Every single area of this scripture has been fulfilled today,” he said.

But why does God judge immorality so harshly?

“Morals protect,” Evans said. “A moral society is a safe society.” He continued, “If I’m a moral person, you can trust me with your money, your family, your life… If I’m an immoral person, I’m going to damage you.”

Evans leaves us with a sobering assessment: “There is a perverted value system, and every society has values. In our society today, what you’re seeing is the most perverted value system in the history of the world.”

We’re not just watching a moral decline. If Evans is right, we’re witnessing a prophetic unraveling.

‘Pray for Our Church’: Worship Leader’s Family Killed in Bombing of Pentecostal Church Building

President Trump has warned he will impose tariffs on buyers of Russian oil if Vladimir Putin does not seriously address the ongoing violence in Ukraine. So far, the Russian president has refused to accept a proposed partial ceasefire.

Meanwhile, Russian drones continue to strike Kyiv, recently hitting a Pentecostal church, which resulted in casualties among church members.

On Sunday morning, March 23rd, a Russian drone approached the Emmanuel Church compound in Kyiv. It exploded 20 meters from a modular home housing Alexandra, her husband, Oleksandr, and their five-year-old daughter, Nicole.

Pasha Tupchyk, one of the church pastors, explained the house is used, “For people who need sleep and to stay in church. It’s for ministry and something like that. (There was) an explosion, big explosion (that) damaged this house in seconds.”

Oleksandr and Nicole died instantly, while praise team lead singer Alexandra miraculously survived the blast. “She was asleep on the mattress. (The) explosion (made) this mattress – and she’s on the mattress – fly away,” Tupchyk explained.

Although Alexandra required surgery, the mattress protected her from shrapnel that could have caused more severe injuries or even death.

Just a few hours later, the Emmanuel congregation gathered for a worship service. With the congregation traumatized and grieving, one of the pastors, Vitaly Bondarenko, urged them to remain focused on eternity rather than their earthly losses.

Is a Massive US-Israeli Attack Coming Soon on Iran’s Nuclear Program?

In early March, President Donald J. Trump secretly sent a letter to the leaders of the Iranian regime, inviting them to come to the table and negotiate a deal with American officials to end the Iranian nuclear threat to the world once and for all.

On March 7, Trump told Fox News anchor Maria Bartiromo that he wants a diplomatic solution.

“The other alternative is you have to do something [militarily] because Iran can’t have a nuclear weapon,” Trump told Bartiromo.

A few days later, Trump told reporters, “We are down to final strokes with Iran. We are down to the final moments. We can’t let them have a nuclear weapon. Something is going to happen very soon. I would rather have a peace deal than the other option, but the other option will solve the problem.”

Indeed, as more details have leaked out, we’re learning that the Trump letter was more than an invitation and an implied threat of U.S. and/or Israeli military force.

/**/

The letter also included a deadline.

“President Trump’s letter to Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei included a two-month deadline for reaching a new nuclear deal,” one American official and two additional diplomatic sources told the Axios news service in a report published on March 19.

In the days since, there are growing signs suggesting American and Israeli forces are preparing for a massive military strike against Iran’s nuclear program.

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth just extended the deployment of a U.S. nuclear-powered aircraft carrier in the Middle East – the USS Harry S. Truman Carrier Strike Group – and ordered another group, Carl Vinson Carrier Strike Group, to the Middle East.

Hegseth also reportedly ordered the deployment of additional fighter and bomber squadrons to the region.

What’s more, it’s now being reported by a former Israeli fighter pilot that “at least six U.S. B-2 bombers are now stationed at Diego Garcia air base in the Indian Ocean. This is important because the B-2 is the only aircraft that can deliver the massive GBU-57, one of the only bombs that can destroy Iran’s nuclear sites at Natanz and Fordow.”

3-Year-Old Girl Stumbles Upon 3,800-Year-Old Biblical Artifact, Experts Are Stunned!

Sometimes, all it takes to make a world-shaking discovery is a pair of curious eyes—and a little bit of sand.

That’s exactly what happened last month when 3-year-old Ziv Nitzan was out on a family walk and stumbled across a piece of biblical history. “We were walking along the path, and then Ziv bent down – and out of all the stones around her, she picked up this particular stone,” said her sister, Omer Nitzan. “When she rubbed it and removed the sand from it, we saw something was different about it.”

As reported by Fox News, the discovery turned out to be a 3,800-year-old scarab amulet from the Middle Bronze Age—right near the ancient town of Azekah in the Judaean Foothills, a place mentioned in 1 Samuel 17:1 where David faced Goliath. The artifact was immediately turned over to the Israel Antiquities Authority, which confirmed the find and awarded young Ziv a certificate of appreciation.

The scarab is shaped like a dung beetle, a sacred symbol in ancient Egyptian culture. According to the IAA, “It was a symbol of new life, because of the dung ball it created and then laid its eggs into it, from which new life would hatch.” The Egyptian word for scarab even comes from the verb meaning “to come into being” or “to be created.” These amulets were used as seals or symbols of religious belief and status, as explained by Dr. Daphna Ben-Tor.

/**/

Tel Aviv University professor Oded Lipschits, who has led excavations at Tel Azekah for 15 years, called the city “one of the most important cities in the Judean Lowlands” during the Bronze Ages. He added, “The scarab found by Ziv joins a long list of Egyptian and Canaanite finds discovered here, which attest to the close ties and cultural influences between Canaan and Egypt during that period.”

In honor of Passover, IAA Director Eli Escuido announced the artifact will be displayed at the Jay and Jeanie Schottenstein National Campus for the Archaeology of Israel, where the public can view it alongside other significant Egyptian and Canaanite items. “Thanks to her, everyone will be able to see it and enjoy it,” he said.

It’s incredible, every time archaeologists search the soil, they uncover more evidence that affirms the truth of the Bible. History and archaeology continue to echo the pages of Scripture, reminding us that the stories passed down for generations are far more than myth—they’re the very foundation of truth.

At just 22 years old, Baylee revealed his personal journey of faith and loss, opening up about the death of his beloved grandmother, who was not only his best friend but also his support during difficult times while his dad was on tour.

The song, written during a season of profound grief, expresses Baylee’s struggle with loss and his eventual reconciliation with his faith.

“I thought she was going to be around for moments like this. I never expected to lose her. So when I did, I questioned everything. And I had pushed away faith,” he shared, reflecting on this devastating loss. Yet, it was through the very process of writing “Hey Jesus” that Baylee found his way back to God.

His performance was not just a display of musical talent but a powerful testimony of surrender, faith and healing. The audience could feel his vulnerability as he sang about brokenness, surrendering everything to God, and finding hope in His light.

Astrology, Crystals and the Church: How New Age Lies Are Slowly Destroying Your Faith!

Our battle truly is not against flesh and blood, but against powers and principalities.

The church must awaken to the reality of witchcraft and the deceptive practices within the New Age movement, which has infiltrated many areas of modern life. In a recent discussion, with Isaiah Saldivar, former witch Ashley Jones shares her experiences with the dangerous allure of “light work” and “white magic,” which often appear innocent on the surface but are rooted in deception and demonic influence.

Breaking News. Spirit-Filled Stories. Subscribe to Charisma on YouTube now!

Jones bluntly describes the deceptive nature of black magic versus white magic practices: “There’s absolutely no difference between them at all. It’s just that you think that there is.” She elaborates on how people may be drawn to these practices, believing they are “for good and love,” but ultimately they are not aligned with the truth of the Gospel. “It’s the deceptive message that there can be power outside of Jesus that is good… It’s just demonic, it’s deception, it’s not true,” she warns.

For many, the entry point to these deceptive practices is seemingly harmless activities like astrology, horoscopes and the law of attraction. As Jones reflects on her own journey, she says, “It started more with like astrology, crystals, manifestation… this kind of stuff that, again, quote unquote, if you’re not watching, is more innocent, which is not at all.” She explains how these practices, though appearing innocent, serve as gateways to deeper and darker spiritual dangers.

These false teachings and practices often come disguised as something benign or even good, which is why so many are deceived. Unfortunately, even Christians have found themselves caught up in these practices.

Yet, the church continues to stay silent about the infiltration of New Age practices, and Saldivar points out that this silence is allowing the deception to spread. “Pastors are not willing to talk about this. How are we not discussing this in the church when our church members are walking around saying, ‘I’m Libra, I’m Cancer, I’m Leo’?” he exclaims, urging the church to expose these false beliefs.

Saldivar and Jones explain how even seemingly innocent practices, such as yoga and the Enneagram, have roots in mysticism and can open the door to spiritual oppression. Just because the Enneagram has been so widely accepted does not mean we should see it as something worth engaging in.

Ultimately, seeking spirituality outside of Christ will quickly lead to dangerous territory. Jones shares how her dabbling in New Age practices began with “light work,” but as she sought more power, she eventually found herself engaging with darker forces. This opened the door to demonic oppression, as she began experiencing sleep paralysis, hearing voices and being led to the brink of suicidal thoughts. She recalled a terrifying moment when the voices she had trusted whispered, “If you hit this tree head on full speed you will escape death… You will have reached the highest enlightenment.”

The church must not remain silent in the face of the growing influence of witchcraft and New Age practices. As believers, it is our responsibility to recognize and confront these deceptive forces that are infiltrating our homes, churches and communities. These practices, often disguised as harmless or even beneficial, present a subtle but real spiritual danger. Whether it’s astrology, crystals or the increasingly popular practices like yoga and horoscopes, the enemy is using these seemingly innocent activities to pull people away from the truth of the Gospel and into bondage.

Why the Church Is in DANGER—Richard Lorenzo Jr. Sounds the Alarm!

Now is the time for the body of Christ to be on high alert when it comes to honing in on listening to the voice of the Holy Spirit.

In a recent message, Richard Lorenzo Jr. urged the body of Christ to discern spiritual challenges and embrace God’s process of refinement. “Some people are not discerning you spiritually, they’re diagnosing your suffering,” he says, emphasizing that God tests believers’ faith to make it stronger. “The Bible says He takes our faith and puts it through a fire… so it comes out stronger than it was before.”

Breaking News. Spirit-Filled Stories. Subscribe to Charisma on YouTube now!

However, while many are being refined for greatness, the church today has become a breeding ground for people to question the success of others. In our current culture, it almost seems as though many would prefer to see believers fall into scandal and sin than to see them raised up and redeemed by God. This “Pharisee spirit,” as Lorenzo explains, focuses on others’ failures instead of their spiritual growth.

“The Pharisees were spiritual bounty hunters chasing failures and not souls,” Lorenzo says. He encourages believers to focus on winning souls rather than engaging in competition. “When you start winning souls… there’s going to be people as you’re chasing souls, they’re going to be chasing your failures.”

Get your FREE CHARISMA NEWSLETTERS today! Stay up to date with current issues, Holy Spirit news, Christian teachings, Charisma videos & more!

This Pharisee spirit is rooted in jealousy and competition. “Your destiny exposes their delay,” he says. Lorenzo observes that some people might secretly be “waiting for your downfall” due to envy, especially when others seem to advance quickly in their spiritual journey. “When people see you moving quickly in Christ… people will try to latch on to eat from your fruit,” he says.

However, these jealous spirits are opposite God’s heart for redemption. “God is not looking for a reason to judge you. He’s looking for a reason to redeem you,” Lorenzo says.

To order Richard Lorenzo Jr.’s new book, What’s the Purpose of Life? visit .

He stresses that God’s grace and love are abundant, pointing out, “God is extremely gracious… He gives people time to repent because He loves and He is love.” Lorenzo likens God’s intentions to those of a loving father: “Think about a father who loves their son… they want to see their children win.”

Just as God wants to see us win, the true heart of a disciple of Christ should be to see others flourish in their walk with God.

This is a powerful reminder for Christians to prioritize their spiritual growth, trust in God’s redemptive process and rise above the distractions of jealousy and competition. It calls believers to stand firm in their faith, embrace God’s testing and support one another in their journey toward fulfilling their destiny—always remembering that God’s heart is for restoration, not condemnation.
