In a recent prophetic message, Jeremiah Johnson shared how the message of Acts 5 highlights the stark contrast between Barnabas and Ananias and Sapphira. “Barnabas sells his land and gives all the proceeds to the apostles,” but Ananias and Sapphira, “appear to do the same, but secretly withhold part of the money.” The key issue is not that they owned possessions, but their deception. “Their sin was not having land… their sin was in the fact that they made a vow or a promise to give it all and they did not.”

Jeremiah Johnson points out that Ananias and Sapphira weren’t punished for their possessions but for their desire to appear more generous than they were, saying, “They had an agenda… a motive where they desired to appear more generous than they really were.”

This is a warning for modern Christians who might be tempted to give with a hidden agenda or fail to honor their financial commitments.

“God sees everything… our checkbooks, our bank accounts, our possessions.” Just as the early church feared God after this event, we too must reflect on our own financial practices. “I just want to be right with God,” Jeremiah Johnson prays, encouraging us to ask the Holy Spirit to reveal any areas of deception or unfulfilled vows.

If you’ve ever asked God for healing—whether for yourself or a loved one—you’re not alone. For many Christians, the idea of divine healing feels like something that happens to “other people.” But according to Gordon Robertson of The 700 Club, the keys to receiving your miracle are already written in the Word of God—and they’re available to you right now.

“There are keys to healing,” Robertson said in a recent broadcast. “One is the key of announcing it—you say to the mountain, ‘Be removed.’”

It’s a principle straight from the Bible. Mark 11:23 says, “For truly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, he will have whatever he says.”

But there’s more to it than just speaking. Robertson emphasized the importance of letting the Word of God take root in your heart: “The other is that you allow the Word to grow and bear fruit in your life—that you see with your eyes, you hear with your ears, you understand, and then you turn so that Jesus can heal you.”

This echoes Jesus’ own words in Matthew 13:15, “For this people’s heart has grown dull, their ears are hard of hearing, and they have closed their eyes, lest they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their hearts, and turn, and I should heal them.”

Robertson describes how a word of knowledge—a moment when God reveals specific details about someone’s condition—can shake us out of disbelief: “Word of knowledge gets your attention. It causes you to turn. You see it, you hear it, and you turn.”

He went on to quote Psalm 103:3: “Who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases.”

The bottom line? God’s healing isn’t just a hopeful idea—it’s a promise. But receiving it requires action: declaring His Word, allowing it to grow in your heart and responding in faith when you hear it spoken over your situation.

There’s something powerfully telling about a room full of future American leaders erupting in applause—not for funding, not for policy changes, but for Jesus. That’s exactly what happened at the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy’s Battle Standard Dinner on Apr. 3, when Secretary of Transportation Sean Duffy stood before the midshipmen and boldly declared, “Can we bring Jesus up from the basement?”

The crowd’s response was electric. “Let’s not put Jesus in the basement! Let’s get Him out! Let’s bring Him up!” Duffy said, triggering the loudest applause of the night. Taken aback by the passion in the room, he smiled and said, “You want Jesus up from the basement? Alright, great! That was the loudest applause we got!”

As reported by The Christian Post, the painting in question—Christ on the Water, created in 1947 by merchant mariner Hunter Wood—was removed from its place in Wiley Hall following a 2023 complaint from the Military Religious Freedom Foundation. The group demanded the removal of the painting, which it called a display of “sectarian” religious imagery.

Initially covered with a curtain, the painting was ultimately moved to a flood-prone basement, prompting an outcry from midshipmen, alumni, and members of Congress.

To the midshipmen, this wasn’t just art—it was personal.

One midshipman told The Christian Post, “I remember many times when I used to pray underneath that painting when I was on the verge of failing a class, or I had big tests or I was worried about something.” Another recalled how its presence gave comfort during difficult moments, saying, “People would look up to that painting and say, ‘Everything’s going to be all right. Jesus is looking after me.’”

Pastor Jack Hibbs is urgently calling the church to wake up to the prophetic signs unfolding around us. Despite the growing fulfillment of Bible prophecy, Hibbs believes many believers have become spiritually asleep.

“We’ve never been this late in Bible prophecy before. All of the major end-time prophetic events have either happened, are happening, or are staged and ready to happen,” says Hibbs.

But rather than staying alert to the signs of the times, Hibbs warns that the church has grown complacent. “We are so inundated with news that deals with Israel and or the last days events,” he said. “We’ve become so accustomed to watching news and hearing words like the word Israel, Jew, nuclear war, Iran, Russia—we have failed, I think, to notice because we’ve been inundated and then we grow little lazy.”

Hibbs explains that this growing complacency is exactly how Satan works: “Satan will either take the believer and freakishly deceive him by overstating the fact that Jesus is coming back… or he’ll move the pendulum all the way over to the other side where people are overstimulated by the news and their response is He’s not coming at all.” This manipulation of extremes leads many believers to miss the true understanding of Scripture. “Satan doesn’t care as long as he can get people off the real target.”

Perhaps the most terrifying part about the complacency of the church in this hour is how it has led way to the rise of false teachers and prophets.

“The Bible says that there’s going to be a dramatic increase of false prophets and false teachers now,” Hibbs warns. “We’ve seen false prophets and false teachers and the rise of the cults and aberrant Christian groups increase, and I think that’s going to continue.” He points to 2 Peter 3:3, where it says, “scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lust,” mocking the return of Christ by asking, “Where is the promise of His coming?”

Hibbs sees this as a significant issue for believers today: “There are people mocking His return. Do you know anybody who’s mocking His return? I do.”

He cautions that these deceivers are not only misleading believers but also making the church more susceptible to error. “Satan will deceive people. He’ll throw a sparkly toy in front of them and they’ll chase after it,” Hibbs said, emphasizing that believers must be careful to avoid falling into this trap.

The final sign we cannot ignore when it comes to the end times is the rapid pace of technology’s advancement, which is setting the stage for the fulfillment of Bible prophecy.

“We live in a time right now that let’s be honest—when was the last time you were pretty concerned about the cashless system? We live in a time right now that… the Bible says in Revelation 13 in the last days there’s going to be a cashless system.”

Above all, we must look at the seriousness of these prophetic times: “We need to be careful that we don’t fall asleep in the sun, fall asleep in the volume of light… This is what’s happening right now in the world that you and I are living in.”

The clock is ticking, and the return of Christ is nearer than we realize. Will you be ready, or will you fall asleep in the light of prophetic fulfillment?

“Churches are actively laying the children in their care on Molech’s fiery altar.”

But There’s Hope—and Power

In the midst of all this darkness, Hughes makes it clear: We are not called to fear or silence.

“We walk in righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.”

Jesus promised He would not leave us as orphans (John 14:16–18), and the Holy Spirit is our constant companion, comforter and power source. Romans 8 reminds us that we are more than conquerors—no matter what the beast system throws our way.

This isn’t the time to hide in spiritual bunkers. It’s time to preach the gospel boldly, to be light in darkness and to live with confident expectation of Christ’s return.

With the Trump administration now firmly back in the White House, many Americans are hoping to see accountability restored in the agencies that were weaponized during the Biden years. And thanks to a bombshell report from the American Principles Project, one of the worst offenders has finally been exposed: the Department of Education.

According to APP’s in-depth analysis, Biden’s Department of Education — specifically its Office of Enforcement — launched what can only be described as a crusade against Christian and career colleges. And the numbers make it clear: this wasn’t about oversight or protecting students. This was about targeting schools that didn’t align with the progressive values being pushed by the previous administration.

Let’s break it down. Here’s what APP found:

• Nearly 70% of enforcement actions were aimed at faith-based and career colleges, even though they enroll less than 10% of U.S. college students.
• In a single year, Grand Canyon University was fined a staggering $37.7 million, and Liberty University was hit with $14 million in penalties — more than the total fines issued in the previous seven years combined.
• The average fine against Christian institutions for Clery Act violations? $815,000 — more than three times higher than the $228,571 average fine for secular public and private schools.
• At least 12 Christian colleges were subjected to either excessive penalties or complete removal from the federal student aid system. Not one Ivy League university received comparable treatment.

You can’t call that a coincidence.

These actions paint a clear picture: Biden’s Department of Education wasn’t interested in fairness or transparency. It was using its power to punish institutions that stood for biblical values, traditional morality, and educational independence from left-wing ideology.

This wasn’t just a political hit job either, it was spiritual warfare in broad daylight. The Biden administration’s assault on Christian colleges is just one front in a much larger battle against godly values in America.

From pushing radical gender ideology in schools to cracking down on religious expression in the public square, every move seemed calculated to undermine anything that honored biblical truth. These attacks reveal a deeper hostility, not just toward faith-based institutions, but toward the God they serve. And when a government targets righteousness, it’s not just policy at play, it’s a clash between light and darkness.

Now, with a new administration in place, there is hope that this kind of ideological targeting will be rooted out. But make no mistake — what happened under Biden’s watch was intentional, systematic and deeply un-American.

The Trump administration must not only halt this kind of overreach, it must work to dismantle the enforcement machinery that allowed it to happen in the first place, once and for all.

Because this isn’t just about schools. It’s about freedom. And it’s about time we defended it.

Kamela says that even through his struggles, he clung onto the truth that his identity was found in Christ, not in the circumstances and the situations he saw around him.

“My identity is in Christ; it’s not in this crisis,” Kamela says. “I believe I can beat it. I’ve never seen someone healed, but this is the God that I serve.”

Kamela says that after making up his mind that he would be healed because God is a healer, he found himself in a miraculous situation at church when someone prayed over him.

“I remember walking up to the front, putting my hands in the pastor and his wife’s hands, and they started to pray for me and my hands started to shake,” Kamela recounts.

He knew God was getting ready to do something massive: He was about to heal Kamela of all the mental trauma he had been through.

“After they got done praying I felt this spirit, that spirit of oppression, because I don’t think it just was an illness, I think it was an attack from the felt that thing left, and I knew right then and there that I was healed.”

Kamela’s remarkable testimony is a reminder that there is nothing too big or powerful for our God to do, and that He is mighty and able to do all things because nothing is too difficult for Him to accomplish.

A quiet night turned into a moment of divine intervention for a pastor who stopped what could have been a devastating arson attack on his church. Pastor Tanveer Boota of the Bethaniya Pentecostal Church was asleep in his living quarters on church grounds in Gulshan Basti, Pakistan, when he awoke to strange noises coming from the sanctuary around midnight.

“I saw two men who had covered their faces, and one of them was setting fire to a curtain on the window,” Boota said in an interview with Christian Daily International-Morning Star News. “I shouted at them and ran to stop them, but they escaped from the main entrance.”

As reported by The Christian Post, the timely action of Boota and his younger brother, Usman, prevented the fire from spreading. Usman quickly extinguished the flames, and police arrived shortly after.

“Soon after a police team headed by senior officers reached there, and during investigation recovered a bottle containing kerosene and a stick with a cloth tied to its end that was used to start the fire,” Boota explained.

Despite the severity of the incident, Pastor Boota says the attack is a mystery. “There are about 500 Christian families living in our area, and we have never faced any hostility from our Muslim neighbors,” he said. “I’m still at a loss to understand why would anyone want to burn our small church.”

What adds to the confusion is that Boota claims the police altered the official report, suggesting a failed burglary attempt. “In fact, it was the police which scattered the books and papers on the carpet to give the impression that the incident was a failed burglary attempt,” he said, noting that this version of events was added to the FIR without his consent.

The church, which is home to just 16 families, has only been active for two years. Still, Pastor Boota remains hopeful and faithful. “We are extremely grateful to God that He has saved our church and residence from the fire,” he said. “We trust the authorities will ensure that whoever is behind this criminal act will be brought to justice so that no other miscreant can try to disturb the religious harmony in our area.”

Unfortunately, this isn’t an isolated incident. In November 2023, a Presbyterian church in Lahore was also set ablaze. Initially believed to be the work of extremists, it was later revealed that a church member orchestrated the fire in a bid to oust the pastor.

Pakistan remains a perilous place for believers as it is ranked No. 8 on Open Doors’ 2025 World Watch List.

Yet, Scripture reminds us that persecution is part of the Christian journey. As Paul wrote in 2 Timothy 3:12, “Indeed, all who desire to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted.”

While we thank God for protecting Pastor Boota and his congregation, let’s not grow numb to the reality many Christians face globally. We must continue to lift up our brothers and sisters in prayer, asking God to grant them boldness, comfort, and strength to persevere—even in the face of fire.
