Testimony From Hell Reveals the Secret to Demon Possession

Can demons possess humans, and if so, how does it happen?

After Howard Pittman descended into hell after experiencing actual, physical death, he saw the reality of hell and how the demonic works to snare God’s children. Pittman claimed to have experienced a journey beyond the veil, witnessing Satan’s kingdom and gaining profound insights into the afterlife. This description from life to death exposes what it’s like to enter a world of complete darkness.

“There’s no words in the human language to describe crossing the veil,” Pittman said in an interview. “I passed out in this darkness. I felt—I really felt abandoned, all alone. First time I’d ever experienced that kind of darkness. There was no light. And then all of a sudden, I saw something that [came] right out of the top of that darkness and it was like a tape that was just twirling around.”

Russell Brand Reveals Why He Wears a Cross and Is Reading the Bible ‘A Lot More’

Russell Brand, the controversial English comedian and actor, is opening up more about his spiritual journey of discovery and new realizations about his faith and relationship with God. The revelations come as he is also facing some very serious allegations of sexual misconduct that are being investigated by police.

“The reason I wear a cross is because Christianity and in particular, the figure of Christ are it seems to me inevitably becoming more important as I become more familiar with suffering, purpose, self and not self,” he said.

5 Red Flags That Warn Us of False Teachers

Last week I wrote about how grieved I was that so many Christians naively swallowed the teachings of Nigerian prophet T.B. Joshua—in spite of repeated warnings from Nigerian pastors who knew of his occult origins. Sadly, even after evidence surfaced proving that Joshua practiced juju rituals and sexually abused women, some of his followers still defend him.

People ask me: “But if T.B. Joshua was a false prophet, how could he perform miracles?” Or they ask: “How could he be false when he used the name of Jesus?” Those questions alone indicate that they forgot Jesus’ own words; He warned that false prophets “will show great signs and wonders, so as to mislead, if possible, even the elect” (Matt. 24:24, NASB 1995). Jesus also said charlatans would use His name to gain credibility (24:5).

Because I’ve encountered many false prophets, swindlers and spiritual quacks since the 1970s, I learned that there are several red flags that warn us of wolves in sheep’s clothing. If you see any of these qualities in a “minister,” you can be certain something devilish is lurking behind the curtain. If you choose to follow these blind guides, they will lead you into a ditch.

Paul Harvey’s 1965 Prophecy Stuns Joe Rogan

In a recent episode of his widely acclaimed podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience, host Joe Rogan found himself grappling with a profound prophecy from 1965 that left him visibly shocked.

The prophecy, delivered by legendary broadcaster Paul Harvey, outlined a dark plan orchestrated by the devil to engulf the world in darkness, titled “If I were the Devil,” focusing specifically on the United States. As Rogan reacted to the chilling accuracy of the prophecy, a larger narrative unfolded—one of spiritual awakening and a shift in perspective.

The Path to Salvation: Joe Rogan’s Journey

At the heart of the revelation is the notion that Joe Rogan, one of the most influential figures in the world with the largest podcast audience, is on a journey to spiritual salvation. Rogan, known for his candid conversations and diverse range of guests, has recently been engaging in discussions about God and Christianity. In a reaction video to Rogan’s experience listening to Harvey’s prophecy, revivalist Isaiah Saldivar believes that Rogan’s openness to Christian guests and willingness to explore the validity of the Bible indicate a transformative spiritual journey.

Are We Entering a Leviticus 26 Era?

Is America heading toward destruction? Are we going to enter into a Leviticus 26 era?

In one of his latest videos, Perry Stone delves into what Leviticus 26 means and what the implications of it could be for America.

“In the Old Testament there’s the blessing and the curse of the Law of God,” Stone said. “The blessing means the favor of God or the hand of God is on something and God begins to bless, but a curse is totally the God allows a curse to come into a nation, we think of curse as being different things, but a curse in the eyes of God means to diminish that nation, to make it smaller, to take away His favor and take the blessing off of it.”

Is This the Start of the Great Apostasy?

Has the great apostasy already started? What if the things we’re seeing today are simply the signs of things that Scripture already foretold of its happening years ago?

In a nation that used to be so profoundly based on biblical principles, America today is almost unrecognizable from its founding. At the very basic level, the religious concept of God and a general sense of morality has always been part of the culture, and many of the ideologies and values today would have never been acceptable.

But not anymore.

The latest Pew Research study discovered that “about 28% of U.S. adults are religiously unaffiliated, describing themselves as atheists, agnostics or ‘nothing in particular’ when asked about their religion.”

However, there is something worth looking at in these statistics specifically in relation to Christianity.

“Most ‘nones’ say they were raised in a religion, usually Christianity,” the Pew Research study found. “Yet today they tend to be disconnected from religious institutions. Not only have they shaken off religious labels, they also have largely shaken off involvement in churches, synagogues, mosques and other religious organizations.”

So, those consider themselves to a “none” tend to have been the exact same ones who grew up sitting in the pews on a Sunday morning. They are the ones who have heard, but have instead rejected the very God they had grown up hearing about.

Which begs the question: is this the start of the great apostasy?

Second Thessalonians 2:3-4 is a great reminder of what is guaranteed to come our way. We are guaranteed that there will be many who will fall away from the faith.

“Do not let anyone deceive you in any way. For that Day will not come unless a falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of destruction, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or is worshipped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself as God.”

The day of the Lord’s return cannot come unless we first see those who committed themselves to the faith fall away from it.

While there was a mixed opinion about religion’s role in society, “43% of ‘nones’ say religion does more harm than good,” according to the Pew Research study.

Besides this belief that religion is detrimental to society, “30% say bad experiences they’ve had with religious people help explain why they are nonreligious.”

Church hurt has taken its toll and has pushed away people from the body of Christ, and ultimately, from Him altogether.

We continue to see the warning that many would leave the faith throughout the New Testament. Jesus warned in Matthew 24:10: “Then many will fall away, and betray one another, and hate one another.” First Timothy 4:1 tells us: “Now the Spirit clearly says that in the last times some will depart from the faith and pay attention to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils.”

As we see the signs clearly written on the wall that a great apostasy is brewing, people leaving and forsaking faith altogether, we know that this is just one of the hardships that must take place before the return of our King. As the hardships increase, as the betrayals to Christ increase, and the world continues to shift further away from righteousness, we can take comfort in knowing that this means our Lord is preparing to come back for His bride.

The Gospel Reason Why I Went Into Politics

As a young mom shuttling my boys to their Christian school, my journey into politics unexpectedly began. After leaving my mission field plans aside, I married Tim, and together we grew Bluebonnet Pest Control from 1996 to 2001. We eventually sold the business, dabbled in the restaurant industry with our rolled sandwich business, Roly Poly, and later found ourselves grappling with the question of what to do next.

During my time managing a Roly Poly restaurant in Dallas, I stumbled upon talk radio host Laura Ingraham, whose insights intrigued me. Listening to her daily, I realized the nation was in trouble. This realization prompted me to explore biblical passages, leading to a shift in my thinking about ministry beyond church walls. I questioned whether apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers were solely confined to church roles.

Ephesians 4:11-12 emphasizes that these gifts are for the equipping of saints for ministry, challenging my perspective on where ministry occurred. When I read Matthew 5:13-16, I saw the call to be salt and light in the world and recognized the need to make a difference, disciple nations, and embody Jesus’ love, character and values.

This paradigm shift freed me from narrow thinking about ministry, prompting a realization that the work of ministry extended beyond the church walls. Politics, often seen as a godly struggle, is a necessary process for certain people to achieve their goals within the government. In fact, the church’s silence in the face of issues like redefining marriage and legalized abortion constitutes disobedience.

It is our role as ambassadors for Christ to speak out. The church must not neglect its duty to share the story of Jesus. America’s strength lies in the transformed lives of its people, grounded in God’s Word.

America’s greatness rests on the transformation of individuals through the story of Jesus. If we desire personal revival, healing, and grounding in God’s Word, then it is only Jesus who can save and change lives. Failure to share Jesus is like withholding the greatest instrument for change in our nation.

Chuck Pierce: Navigating the Prophetic Winds of Change

In a recent YouTube video, Chuck Pierce shared a powerful message for the year 2024, delving into the significance of the Four Winds and their profound impact on the lives of believers.

The North Wind: Seasonal Change and the Manifest Presence of God

Pierce describes the North Wind as a harbinger of change and the manifest presence of God. He urges listeners to discern the spiritual significance of this Wind, stating, “That is going to cause a great upheaval with everything that is opposing the manifest presence of God.” According to the Bible, the presence of God is transformative and powerful, symbolizing His authority and sovereignty. Proverbs 25:23 says, “The north wind brings rain, and a backbiting tongue an angry countenance.”

The East Wind: Judgment and Progress

In his message, Pierce associates the East Wind with judgment, which opens a way for progress while addressing obstacles. Drawing from 17 biblical references, the East Wind often represents God’s judgment and intervention. Exodus 14:21 recounts the East Wind parting the Red Sea, allowing the Israelites to escape from the pursuing Egyptian army. In addition, The East Wind is responsible for destroying the ships of Tarshish in Psalm 48:7. Pierce emphasizes discernment amid judgment, advising, “Let Him deal with the enemies as you move forward.”

The South Wind: Blessing and Prosperity

The South Wind, according to Pierce, is linked with blessing and prosperity. When these Winds converge, a transformative motion begins in one’s sphere, bringing about new blessings. In biblical terms, the South Wind is often associated with warmth and abundance. Job 37:17 affirms, “You whose clothes get hot when the earth is still because of the south wind,” highlighting the positive connotations of the South Wind.

“This wind brings prosperity, blessing, provision and restoration,” Pierce shares. “After the enemy’s years of havoc, there is left much pain and devastation, poverty and lack. God blows in His South Wind to restore the years of the destruction of the canker worm and the locust.”

The West Wind: Mercy and Deliverance

Pierce emphasizes the significance of the West Wind, associated with mercy and deliverance. “God, we need mercy. God, help us. We need mercy,” he declares. In the Bible, the West Wind is symbolic of God’s mercy and deliverance. Micah 7:19 assures, “He will again have compassion upon us. He will tread down our iniquities, and cast all of our sins into the depths of the sea.” Pierce encourages listeners to discern prevailing Winds in their lives, stating, “Learn to move with the winds in [your] field or sphere.”

As we navigate the winds of change in 2024, Chuck Pierce’s prophetic insights offer a spiritual compass, reminding believers to stay attuned to God’s presence, discern His judgments, embrace His blessings and rely on His mercy and deliverance. The biblical references provide a solid foundation, emphasizing the timeless wisdom embedded in the Scriptures as a guide for contemporary challenges and opportunities.

Prophetic Red Heifers Targeted in Coordinated Attack

In a televised appearance marking the 100th day of the Israeli war on Gaza, Abu Obeida, the military spokesperson for the Izz ad-Din Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, provided updates, according to Hamas, into the ongoing conflict.

During his speech, Abu Obeida discussed the destruction of tanks by the Hamas resistance, the number of military operations conducted and the organization’s claim of manufacturing its own weapons for sustained resistance.

Of particular importance was Abu Obeida’s reference to the motives behind the Hamas attack on Israel, where he spoke about the perceived aggression against Al-Quds and Al-Aqsa. He mentioned the prophetic act of the “bringing of red cows,” linking it to what he termed a “detestable religious myth designed for aggression.” This connection between the red heifers and Third Temple is viewed as a threat to the Arab identity and religious sites, specifically Al-Aqsa.

“We look back 100 days to remember the educated, the complicit and the incapacitated among the world powers governed by the law of the jungle, reminding them of an aggression that reached its peak against our path (Al-Quds) and Al-Aqsa, with the start of its actual temporal and spatial division, and the ‘bringing of red cows’ as an application of a detestable religious myth designed for aggression against the feelings of an entire nation in the heart of its Arab identity, and the path of its prophet (the Night Journey) and ascension to heaven,” read Abu Obeida.

The term “Al Aqsa flood” used by Abu Obeida in reference to the Oct. 7 attack pertains to the Palestinian perspective on the significance of the gray-domed mosque on the Temple Mount. The speech emphasized the historical and religious context, including the Umayyad Caliph’s myth about Muhammad’s miraculous journey to the Temple Mount.

Abu Obeida expressed a commitment to rallying support for Al-Aqsa and the path of the prophet, urging free people of the nation to rise against perceived Zionist aggression and called on Muslims worldwide to join the war.

“We will not tire or falter in calling all the free people of the nation to rise to support their Aqsa and the path of their prophet, which the criminal Zionists are practically advancing towards destroying and establishing their temple. This is what we have chosen with our blood in Gaza for 100 days and for which the epic of Oct. 7th was about,” he continues.

“We believe that it is our jihadist and religious duty to inform the two billion Muslims in the world that the Zionist enemy, over the course of 100 days, destroyed most of the mosques in the Gaza Strip, desecrated, burned and bulldozed those reached by its vehicles on the ground, and stopped the call to prayer and praying in a clear religious war, completing what the religious Zionist gangs started in their war on Al-Aqsa Mosque. This is an ominous sign and destruction for these Nazi killers, as they cannot wage a war against God, and this is affirmed by the text of the Torah, the Bible and the Quran.”

Red Heifers, Their Significance and the Temple

The Bible, particularly in the Old Testament, addresses the significance of red heifers in the context of purification rituals for the construction and consecration of the Temple. Numbers 19 provides instructions for using the ashes of a red heifer to purify those who come in contact with death.

As Charisma News previously reported, a red heifer, a significant symbol in Bible prophecy, has been born in Israel.

The Temple Institute, an organization dedicated to preparations for the Third Temple in Jerusalem, made the groundbreaking announcement on YouTube, heralding the calf’s arrival as a pivotal moment in the fulfillment of ancient Bible prophecies.

The birth of this red heifer, a female calf, holds profound spiritual implications, as it is believed to bring the promise of reinstating biblical purity to the world. In both Christianity and Judaism, the red heifer has played a prominent role in eschatological narratives, specifically in relation to the “end of times.”

The Temple was the dwelling place of God among His people, Israel. The construction and sanctification of the Temple were central to Jewish religious practices in biblical times.

However, Muslims around the world view the establishment of a Third Temple as a direct threat to the Al Aqsa Mosque. With Hamas claiming the red heifers were a target of the Oct. 7 massacre, it shows the prophetic clock is ticking closer and closer to the biblical prophecies in the Word of God being fulfilled.

Jentezen Franklin: God’s Coming to Dinner?

If we are not careful we can allow life to get us into the same old ruts and routines without even realizing it. Our relationship with the Lord can suffer the same fate. When we don’t do what it takes to stay sharp and sensitive to the Holy Spirit, our praise, worship, offerings and even preaching can become heartless routines to God.

As a believer, you can pray, read your Bible and go to church week after week and still be losing sight of your first love. It is not that you don’t love the Lord, but the busyness of life can bring you to the point of losing your freshness, your enthusiasm, and your sensitivity to His Spirit and what pleases Him.

JF Fasting

My mother was an excellent cook. But if she had gotten so caught up in other things that all she ever put on the table for us was meatloaf every night of the week, I don’t think it would have taken long for me to find somewhere else to eat. The disappointing sound of comments like, “Aw, Mom, meatloaf again?” would have been common at my house.

What if God were hungry and all we have to feed Him is our same dull religious routines day after day? Just like ending up with meatloaf on the table every night, I can just hear our heavenly Father sighing, “Religion again?”

Out of the Religion Box

That’s why God said to Israel, “If I were hungry, I would not tell you; for the world is Mine, and all its fullness,” (Ps. 50:12). God owns the cattle on a thousand hills. He does not need our routines. He does not savor heartless activity. He does not want our “leftovers” when He can get “fed” elsewhere. True worship that comes from our hearts feeds Him and satisfies Him; it is something He desires—and deserves. Our religiosity of going through the motions once a week does not please Him as much as our obedience to His Word.

The reason this subject fits in a book about fasting is simple: fasting is a constant means of renewing yourself spiritually. The discipline of fasting breaks you out of the world’s routine. It is a form of worship—offering your body to God as a living sacrifice is holy and pleasing to God (Rom. 12:1). The discipline of fasting will humble you, remind you of your dependency on God, and bring you back to your first love. It causes the roots of your relationship with Jesus to go deeper.

There are dimensions of our glorious King that will never be revealed to the casual, disinterested worshiper. There are walls of intercession that will never be scaled by dispassionate religious service. But when you take steps to break out of the ordinary and worship Him as He deserves, you will begin to see facets of His being you never knew existed. He will begin to share secrets with you about Himself, His plans, His desires for you. When you worship God as He deserves, He is magnified.

Radical Iranian Regime Builds ‘Ring of Fire’ Around Israel as Threat of All-Out-War Rises

The threat of an all-out war in the Middle East is intensifying.

Iranian-backed forces have launched a wave of attacks against American and Israeli targets in the region.

The White House accuses Tehran of provoking the crisis and prompting an American military response.

The Islamic mullahs in Tehran have dubbed it their “Axis of Resistance.”

“What the Supreme leader there calls a ‘ring of fire’ around Israel and that’s to build up these terror groups, these proxies for Iran, to do the fighting for Iran so Iran doesn’t have anybody come knocking on its doorstep,” said Richard Goldberg with the Foundation for Defense of Democracies

Since Hamas attacked Israel on October 7th, Iranian proxies in Lebanon, Syria, Iraq and Yemen have dramatically upped their strikes against Israel and U.S. interests in the region.

“Iran didn’t arm and equip and train and finance the Houthis, Hamas, Hezbollah, Shia militia groups in Iraq to use these resources for their own benefit at their own discretion. Iran did all that so it would have a capability through its proxies to act as it’s acting now,” said former U.S. National Security Advisor John Bolton.

The U.S. has been responding with attacks on the proxy militias.

“We have taken military action against sites in Iraq and Syria that are also tied to the IRGC, which supports these militias,” said White House Deputy National Security Advisor Jon Finer. “We have said quite clearly that we hold Iran responsible for the groups, the proxies that that it supports, and that it provides weapons to.”

Iran’s Revolutionary Guard forces, in just the past week, have also launched direct attacks on three of their close neighbors: Iraq, Syria and Pakistan.

These multiple flash points are now causing concern of a much broader conflict pitting Iran and its allies against Israel and the United States.

“It just shows just how dangerous the situation is in the wider Middle East,” said Jon Gambrell with the Associated Press.

“It’s all part of their strategy and ultimately they want us to be fighting these tentacles so that we get bogged down and distracted when we really need to focus on is the head of the octopus and that’s Iran,” Goldberg told CBN News.

What the Bold Claims of Jesus Mean for You and Me

Christian and secular historians verify that Jesus Christ lived, was crucified, died and rose from the dead. During His ministry, Jesus also made some very bold claims, calling Himself the Son of God. We know for certain that His statements were true because His words have come to pass. If He were just another religious teacher, His statements would only prove today that He was arrogant and foolish. Instead, they prove He is the risen Savior.

In Matthew 24:35 (NKJV), Jesus said, “Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.” In Matthew 5:18 He said, “For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled.” In these verses, Jesus made the bold claim that His Word would never pass away.

In the book, “Evidence That Demands a Verdict,” Josh McDowell states, “In A.D. 303, Diocletian issued an edict to stop Christians from worshiping and to destroy their Scriptures … an imperial letter was everywhere promulgated, ordering the razing of the churches to the ground and the destruction by fire of the Scriptures.”

From that time until modern communism, many people have tried to outlaw, burn and destroy the Bible, yet it still remains. What other book has endured such vehement hatred and continual effort to destroy it? In spite of this, the Bible remains the most published and bestselling book in all of history, with multi-billions sold.

Bernard Ramm, as quoted in the book, “Evidence That Demands a Verdict,” states, “No other book has been so chopped, knifed, sifted, scrutinized, and vilified. What book on philosophy or religion or psychology … has been subject to such a mass attack as the Bible?  With such venom and skepticism, with such thoroughness and erudition? Upon every chapter, line and tenet? The Bible is still loved by millions, read by millions, and studied by millions.”

Another writer said, “If this book had not been the book of God, men would have destroyed it long ago. Emperors and popes, kings and priests, princes and rulers have all tried their hand at it; they die and the book still lives.”

For Jesus to claim that His words would never pass away, He would have to be God. These words of Jesus about the Bible have proven true.

Another statement by Jesus in John 8:12 reads, “Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, ‘I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.'”

Jesus called Himself “the light of the world” when He was known only around Galilee. How could He make such a claim?

In his book, “Defending The Faith,” Henry Morris said, “How could an uncultured carpenter from a despised village in a small province ever presume to assert that he was the very light that would enlighten the entire world? Absurd. Yet there have been millions down through the centuries who have testified that He was, indeed, the light of their world.”

These followers of Jesus have impacted the world in extraordinary ways. Only God, working through Christians, could have delivered people from all kinds of bondage, cast out devils and healed diseases through the power of His name. Christian organizations have fed and helped the poor worldwide for decades. Jesus is in fact, the only light in this dark world.

First John 1:5b says, “God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.”  When Jesus said He is the light of the world, He was saying that He is God.

The ultimate act of Jesus proving He was who He claimed to be was His willingness to die a cruel death on a cross for our sins. He then rose from the dead and was seen by over 500 witnesses. Jesus then ascended into heaven as final proof of His identity and deity.

No other person or religious leader can be compared to the risen Savior. He created all things and left His place in heaven to come to the earth. He was born of a virgin, lived as a sinless man, suffered and died for our sins, and rose from the dead conquering death, hell and the grave. He is infinitely powerful, holy, just, merciful, loving, and ready to forgive and receive all who will come to Him. He is the Almighty, eternal God. This is why we are privileged and honored to serve Him.

6 Signs of Power Hungry Leaders

God-ordained public service should never be about a person’s desire for power but should arise out of a servant’s heart to meet the needs of the people they represent.

Jesus modeled this when He washed the feet of His disciples and when He said that the greatest in the kingdom of God are those who serve (John 13; Mark 10:43). Of course, we have power hungry leaders in every sector of society—not just in politics—and this includes the church.

Power hungry people are the cause of numerous problems and divisions within the marketplace and church, and we need to be honest with them and speak to them when necessary, lest they sabotage great organizations.

Since their drive for power will stop at nothing to achieve their ends, more mature leaders must counter their dangerous ambitions instead of continually feeding into them.

(I believe all leaders, because of our fallen nature, have to deal with some or all of the following issues at times in our lives. But some have totally given in and live out these issues as a lifestyle of choice.)

1. Power hungry leaders only relate to other “power” people. Power hungry people are constantly going to social events, parties, conferences and frequently joining boards of powerful organizations that will connect them with the most influential people—irrespective of whether they truly have the time or talents for these activities or genuinely want to connect with these people on a deep human level.

They are always looking for the next person who can do something to help them climb the social ladders in their spheres of influence, which causes them to use people instead of serving people.

2. Power hungry leaders constantly drop names to impress. There are certain leaders whom I have heard speak several times, and every time they have spoken, either to me in private or in public gatherings, they have mentioned prominent academic institutions where they received their degrees or dropped the names of high-level leaders with whom they have access.

After a while, it becomes obvious they are attempting to flout their power and accomplishments so they can receive accolades or respect from others instead of it being a sincere attempt to give their audience context for their life narrative.

Get your FREE CHARISMA NEWSLETTERS today! Stay up to date with current issues, Holy Spirit news, Christian teachings, Charisma videos & more!

3. Power hungry leaders compete with other peer leaders. Power hungry leaders are always jockeying for position, fighting with other leaders they deem a threat to their influence or attempting to marginalize others with faint words of praise or outright gossip and slander.

(Streetwise Christian leaders usually don’t engage in outright slander but tend to marginalize others subtly when in the company of those they don’t know well.)

Essentially, power hungry leaders will not rest until they become the “big dog” in the organization.

4. Power hungry leaders are all things to all people.

Power hungry leaders often are like chameleons who adapt to the color of their environment. For example, I have met political leaders who speak as biblical Christians when they are speaking in churches, but when they are with secular humanists, they speak about their antibiblical values.

The only thing power hungry people value is their own power. When they are with Christians, they speak religious lingo, and when they are with secularists, they speak secular lingo. I don’t think even they know what they truly believe.

Unfortunately, many sincere Christians get fooled by these people’s surreptitious words and believe anything they hear. After such people are elected, these Christians are shocked by what they really stand for!

5. Power hungry leaders are driven by selfish ambition. Though they may work many hours visiting their communities and churches and being among their people, their ultimate goal is to be in power, not to meet the needs of the people.

This is more obvious when it comes to candidates for an elected office. But pastors and church leaders have also fallen into this syndrome and act this out in the context of their own denominations or congregations.

Breaking News. Spirit-filled stories. Subscribe to Charisma on YouTube now!

6. Power hungry leaders love the praises of men. At the end of the day, power hungry people live to hear other people sing their praises. They have such low self-esteem that they need to continually feed their egos by being the center of attention in every event, party and gathering they attend.

Consequently, they are easily insulted when they deem others not bowing down to kiss their rings and can quickly turn on these people.

Since all of us can fall into unhealthy leadership habit/patterns, we need some takeaways to counter these:

1. Cultivate a servant’s heart. Focus on genuine service and meeting the needs of the people you represent rather than seeking personal power and recognition. Emulate Jesus’ example of humility and service, as He washed the feet of His disciples and taught that greatness comes from serving others (Mark 10:43, John 13).

2. Address power hungry behavior. Recognize and acknowledge power hungry tendencies in yourself and others, and openly discuss and address these behaviors when they arise. Encourage honest conversations and accountability to prevent these tendencies from damaging organizations and causing division.

3. Promote mature leadership. Encourage the development of mature leaders who can counter the dangerous ambitions of power hungry individuals. Mature leaders should actively work to redirect and temper the ambitions of power hungry individuals rather than enabling or reinforcing their behavior.

4. Foster diverse relationships. Encourage leaders to build relationships with a wide range of people, not just those who hold power or influence. By fostering diverse relationships and seeking input from various perspectives, individuals can avoid becoming exclusively focused on associating with “power” people.

5. Embrace humility and self-awareness. Recognize the potential for power seeking behavior in yourself and others due to human fallibility. Embrace humility and self-awareness, and actively work to resist the allure of ungodly power, acknowledging that all leaders may grapple with these issues at times, thus we need to strive to combat them for the greater good.

As the psalmist said, “Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer” (Ps. 19:14, ESV).

Morning Rundown: IHOPKC’s Fuller Dealing With New Developments

Here’s a quick rundown of the top stories on :

IHOPKC’s Fuller Dealing With New Developments

In recent days, General Kurt Fuller has found himself facing pressure from The Advocate Group for yet another independent investigation. The veteran military officer and newly appointed leader of IHOPKC is navigating turbulent waters as he addresses the demands for transparency and accountability.

After finding credible evidence against IHOPKC founder Mike Bickle and his removal from leadership, former Executive Director Stuart Greaves stepped down as well, and General Fuller was appointed the new Executive Director of IHOPKC.

In a video statement, Fuller revealed the challenges he has encountered in dealing with The Advocate Group’s push for another investigation. He stated, “For the past several days, I’ve been under enormous pressure from The Advocate Group, their attorney and external leaders to immediately concede to their demands for yet another independent investigation.”

Is This the Most Dangerous Social Media Trend?

What is manifesting, and why is it such a big deal? Well, the problem is, it’s trying to receive exactly what you want by your own will power. It’s about trying to make something happen by your own power, as if you and you alone have some type of cosmic ability to control everything in the universe. Synonyms for manifesting could be declaring, or evidencing. However, in the context that the world uses, this is far from biblical.

Manifesting is a spiritual idea that has found its way into celebrity culture and onto the dating scene as well. However, manifesting someone into your life, in any capacity, shows little regard for them as a person with their own emotions, value and free will.

Simply wanting things isn’t bad, but believing you can actually shift the atmosphere because of your own abilities places yourself in the position of God up above Him and His goodness and knowledge. God sees all, knows all, and without Him, none of us would even be here.

Alex Jones: People Need the Holy Spirit

What does it say about the state of the church today when pastors shy away from teaching on eschatology and the end times in the fear of scaring away parishioners?

Even more so, what does it say when the controversial host of “Info Wars” Alex Jones is openly declaring the truth in the Bible and that people need the Holy Spirit if they are going to survive the end times deception coming our way?

In a recent sit-down with Gerald Morgan Jr. on the podcast “Gerald Apologizes Apologetics,” part of the Steven Crowder network, the two discussed the events taking place that point to humanity being in the end times, as well as Jones opening up about his personal life and how he believes that without the power of the Holy Spirit, people will fall to the wiles of the devil.
