Is the Plague Returning? California Resident Infected
Are we looking at the possible return of something lethal?
According to Fox News, a resident of California became infected with the plague, which health officials believe happened after the person was bit by a flea during a camping trip to Lake Tahoe.

In an official statement, the El Dorado County Health and Human Services Agency said that “It’s believed that the person may have been bitten by an infected flea while camping in the South Lake Tahoe area. Health officials are investigating the situation.”
Fox further notes that the plague is usually spread through fleas that have “fed on infected squirrels, chipmunks or other wild rodents.” So far this year, four rodents in the Tahoe Basin have been found positive for the plague.

The recent reports of California’s plague case, alongside viral images of rabbits, squirrels and deer with strange tumors and growths, paint a troubling picture of nature seemingly going awry. From a biblical perspective, such events echo the warnings found in Scripture about pestilence, disease and the upheaval of creation in the last days, signaling that the world may be moving closer to conditions described in the end times.
