There was a pastor who endured great criticism and slander from the public. The criticism hurt him deeply because his reputation was at stake, and the narratives being told were not true. So he began defending himself to his critics.

Then one night God gave him a dream. In the dream, he was in a stadium, running a race with other runners. There were people in the stands cheering them on. He came to a section where, in the audience, the people began to criticize and verbally attack him. In response, he stopped running and began to defend himself.
