Passover Prophecy: New Mantles Are Falling Down

Today on the Hebrew calendar, we are in the midst of Passover, and Jesus is our Passover Lamb. On the Christian calendar, this includes Good Friday. I had a dream Friday morning that He was giving new assignments from heaven to people. I actually saw these mantles falling from heaven. Today is a day to hold out your hand and receive the new mantle assignment God has for you. Why is this significant? Because Friday was Passover, and it is the day He took the third cup, which is the cup of redemption that comes through suffering. Friday was the day His destiny was fulfilled.

The word cup in the Greek is poterion, which means figuratively “a lot” or “fate,” and fate means purpose and destiny. On Friday, Jesus’ destiny was fulfilled, and He is now giving out mantles from heaven.

The night before Jesus’ death, He shared the Passover meal with his disciples. In Matthew 26:26-29, the Word says:

As they were eating, Jesus took bread, blessed it and broke it, and gave it to the disciples and said, “Take and eat. This is My body.”

Then He took the cup, and after He gave thanks, He gave it to them, saying, “Drink of it, all of you. For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. I say to you, I will not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it new with you in My Father’s kingdom.”
