‘Duck Dynasty’ Stars Jep and Jessica Robertson Trusted God and ‘A Lot of Prayer’ Before Making a Life-Changing Move
Jep and Jessica Robertson are beginning a new chapter rooted in prayer, perseverance and trust in God.
The “Duck Dynasty” stars recently moved their family from Louisiana to North Texas, where they are transforming Comanche Moon Ranch into a place centered on faith, hospitality and community.
“It was a lot of prayer, a lot of talking to our friends, but, you know, we love it out here,” Jep told Fox News Digital.
Jep said he sensed God directing the family toward the move.
“God is just like, ‘All right, guys, you know, you should try this,’ and we’re like, ‘OK, we’ll try,’” he said.
Their journey is featured in the new Great American Media series “Jep & Jess: Beyond the Bayou.” Jep described the program as “faith-forward,” giving viewers an authentic look at the family’s decision and the work of building a new life in Texas.

Faith That Sustains a Marriage
The Robertsons, who are now grandparents, will celebrate 25 years of marriage in October. They openly acknowledge that their early years together were difficult, but God used faithful people around them to help them persevere.
“I think it’s a testament to God and the people he’s put in our life, you know, just not giving up,” Jep said. His central marriage advice is equally direct: “Don’t give up.”
Jessica said their commitment to Christ became the foundation that held them together.
“The only reason why we’re still married is because we love the Lord more than we love, you know, each other,” she said.
Their story offers an encouraging reminder for all of us. Following God does not mean every road will be easy. It means we can pray, seek wise counsel and trust Him with the next step. When we keep Christ at the center, He can turn seasons of struggle into testimonies of faithfulness.
