Marked by the Covenant: A Deeper Call to Stand Apart

Growing up in Jewish tradition, Rabbi Kurt Schneider says one of the most sacred moments is the bris—the ritual marking God’s covenant with His people on the eighth day of a male child’s life. But this ancient sign is more than a ceremony. It’s a divine identifier.

“This is My covenant, which you shall keep, between Me and you and your descendants after you: every male among you shall be circumcised,” Rabbi Schneider quoted from Genesis 17:10.

This physical mark set Israel apart from every other nation. “The male Israelites had this, quote, God mark on them,” he said. “That they belonged to Yahweh, to their God… made them different physically than all the other nations around them.”

But for believers today, the meaning reaches beyond the external. “It symbolized the cutting away of sinful and fleshly desires to embrace a life of fidelity to their creator,” Schneider explained. He added that this principle still carries weight for followers of Jesus, Jew and Gentile alike.

“The concept of it is still valid for us,” he said. “It’s about the peeling away of sinful and fleshly desires to instead be alive to God, and to be devoted to Him alone.”

Schneider referenced Paul’s words in Galatians 6: “For neither is circumcision anything, nor uncircumcision, but a new creation.” The point, he stressed, is not physical but spiritual—a transformation of the heart.

He also issued a warning about false motives and superficial spirituality. “There were some… trying to get people to be circumcised… and they were all doing this for fame,” he said. “And the Gospel gets polluted, because people are more interested in the size of their congregation… than they are with preaching the truth.”

Schneider didn’t shy away from criticizing modern worship practices that echo the same errors. “I hate going into congregations where the music is so loud, that it damages your ears,” he said. “Why do you have to blare the music so loud?”

Rabbi Schneider issued a biblical call to live set apart. “We should be different. We must be different. We’re not of this world. We’re in covenant relationship with Adonai, the Creator who saved us through His Son,” he said. “Jesus spits the lukewarm out of His mouth. Either we’re the real deal or we’re not.”

Jesus Stopped What Doctors and Science Couldn’t Explain

In a gripping interview with Charisma Media, Karin Wilkinson shares her chilling testimony of alien abduction, a hybrid breeding program and the supernatural power of Jesus that ultimately set her free.

Wilkinson recounts being taken against her will multiple times, impregnated and shown hybrid babies that were biologically hers but “soulless.” “It looked like a baby, but it wasn’t fully human,” she says. “I held it, and it wouldn’t cuddle into me. I knew something was very wrong.”

Throughout the conversation, Wilkinson describes underground facilities filled with fetus-like specimens in tanks, sleep paralysis, near-death experiences, and a mysterious encounter with two angelic figures following a medical emergency.

But her story doesn’t end in fear. She explains how calling on the name of Jesus stopped the encounters completely. “They tried to take me again,” she says, “but when I said, ‘In Jesus’ name, no,’ they vanished.” Wilkinson now helps others break spiritual covenants and reclaim their authority in Christ.

Jack Hibbs: Every Christian Has a Spiritual Gift, Here’s How to Find Yours

Pastor Jack Hibbs delivered a powerful reminder to every believer: you have a spiritual gift, and God intends for you to use it.

“The Bible says that every believer, every true child of God has at least one spiritual gift,” Hibbs said. He emphasized that these gifts aren’t confined to pastors or evangelists. “What God has given you is unique, and it’s uniquely used by God the Holy Spirit through your life.”

Speaking directly to both Christians and nonbelievers, Hibbs addressed the evidence of faith in action. “Out of their lives should be convincing evidence that they love you. Oh, I know they bother you… The reason why they drive you nuts is because they love you actually more than you love yourself.”

For the believer, Hibbs challenged the audience to get involved in their local church—not just attend sporadically. “Stop being little bees that go from church to church and think you’ve gone to church. You ain’t going to church until you find a church and get involved in that church.”

He also cautioned against seeking shortcuts for spiritual discovery. “I encourage you not to go online to fill out a questionnaire to find out what your gift of the Holy Spirit is. That’s not only cheating. You’re going to get the wrong answer… Get on your knees and say, ‘Lord, show me.’”

Hibbs pointed to the necessity of stepping outside one’s comfort zone to activate God’s work through them. “God will bring us to that moment where… you’re terrified and this will never work and God says you’re exactly correct… but God.”

He stressed that real revival begins with obedience: “When you step out in obedience… you are exhibiting the love of God and your love for God. Because listen, it’s for Him.”

In addressing the body of Christ, Hibbs reminded the audience of their role in the church community. “We are to be falling over one another to love one another… A healthy church that’s experiencing revival… they know their place and they function in the beautiful apparatus of their calling.”

“You want to walk into that gift. You want to live that gift… Seek Him. Ask Him. And you must commune with Him,” he encouraged.

According to Hibbs, this isn’t extra credit Christianity, “This is Christianity 101 that changes the world.”

Prophecy Unfolding: Dr. David Jeremiah Reveals What’s Coming

In a recent conversation with Sheila Walsh, esteemed Bible teacher Dr. David Jeremiah offered a compelling walk through biblical prophecy, urging Christians to take seriously the signs pointing to the end times.

“There is coming a series of events so apocalyptic it will put a period behind the world as we know it and not one museum will be left standing to memorialize its destruction,” Dr. Jeremiah said, setting the tone for a sobering yet hope-filled conversation.

The Rapture vs. the Second Coming

Central to his teaching is the distinction between the Rapture and the Second Coming—two events that are often confused. “The rapture is when he comes for us and the second advent is when we come back with him to settle the events on this earth,” he explained. “If we understand that, then we can keep those two things straight.”

The Tribulation

Jeremiah outlined the timeline of the Tribulation, calling it a seven-year period “divided into two sections.” He explained, “At the beginning of the tribulation, the antichrist makes a covenant with Israel… and at the end of three and a half years he breaks that covenant. When that happens, all hell breaks loose on this earth.”

The Antichrist

Of the Antichrist, he said, “He is the incarnation of Satan. He is a man who has the oratorical ability of Adolf Hitler… He mimics everything that Jesus does. Anti doesn’t mean just against, but it means instead of.”

The Mark of the Beast

On the Mark of the Beast, Dr. Jeremiah was clear: “During the tribulation period, you have to take the mark of the beast in order to be able to survive. This is the economic control program of the antichrist… People who don’t take the mark will literally be starved out of existence.”

Globalism and Biblical Prophecy

He also addressed the growing trend of globalism, stating, “God is not a globalist. He’s a nationalist. The Bible says he’s made nations. The globalism issue goes all the way back to the Tower of Babel.”

The Battle of Armageddon

Looking to the future, Jeremiah described the final clash between good and evil: “The forces of evil and the forces of good will have one final encounter and the Lord Jesus Christ will be victorious. We come back with the Lord Jesus. We watch his victory… and I think we cheer.”

The Millennium Reign of Christ

After Christ’s return, believers will enter the Millennial Kingdom. “The millennium is a thousand-year reign of peace, and the Lord Jesus Christ will be king,” he said. “David will be his vice president, so to speak… and they will rule the world in righteousness and in godliness.”

The Restoration of Israel

One of the clearest indicators that the end is drawing near is already unfolding. “The greatest sign of the fact that we’re moving into this period of history is the return of Israel, because none of the prophecies of the book of Revelation… could happen if Israel’s not in the land.”

Prophecy and the Present Age

Dr. Jeremiah emphasized the ongoing relevance of prophecy: “The news is catching up with prophecy. And that’s what happens when you study that.”

As we witness the rising uncertainty, war and spiritual confusion, Dr. Jeremiah’s words serve as a reminder that Scripture has already mapped out the course ahead.

From the reemergence of Israel to the global push for centralized control, the signs are unfolding just as the Bible said they would. For believers, prophecy isn’t a subject to fear, but a call to readiness. As Dr. Jeremiah put it, “Now is your redemption nearer than when you believed.”

Great and Mighty Things Are Waiting—Don’t Miss What God Wants to Show You

“Call to me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things which you do not know,” (Jer. 33:3).

It is the Lord’s heart to commune with His children, and all throughout Scripture we can find where He desires to speak with His people. In a recent video, Rabbi Kirt Schneider offers a heartfelt word of encouragement, drawing inspiration from one of his favorite scriptures: Jeremiah 33:3. With his characteristic warmth and joy, he connects with viewers on a personal level, celebrating the continuous journey of discovering more of God’s presence and power.

Quoting Jeremiah 33:3, Schneider proclaims: “Call to me, and I will answer you and I will tell you… great and mighty things which you do not know.” He emphasizes the personal nature of God’s invitation, reminding believers that the Lord is eager to reveal His wonders to those who earnestly seek Him.

“Isn’t it awesome to know that our God is so majestic,” Schneider says, “that he has so much to reveal to us… so much of his miracle-working power, so much of him that we have not yet experienced that he wants to reveal to us?” His passion is contagious as he calls believers to press in with “desperation, love and faith.”

According to Schneider, when we call upon the Lord, God promises to respond—not just with answers, but with revelation, miracles and signs. “He’s going to release that revelation. He’s going to release his power. He’s going to release miracles and show us signs.”

In a world filled with uncertainty and distraction, Rabbi Schneider’s message is a timely call to refocus our hearts on the limitless power and presence of God. It’s a reminder that heaven is not silent, and that the Lord stands ready to respond when we reach out to Him with faith.

There is more to discover, more to experience, and more that God desires to reveal—if we will simply take Him at His word and boldly call upon His name.

What Really Happens When You Take Communion? This Message Will Shake You

The Lord’s Supper, or Holy Communion, is not merely a monthly ritual or symbolic gesture—it is a powerful, life-giving act that carries spiritual weight, healing power and the potential for deep transformation.

In a recent message, Vlad Savchuk emphasized the seriousness and sacredness of partaking in the body and blood of Christ.

As Savchuk notes, from the very beginning of humanity meals have held spiritual significance. “That meal that Adam and Eve ate brought death, brought sickness and destruction,” Savchuk says, referencing the fall in the Garden of Eden.

To purchase a copy of Vlad Savchuk’s new book, Make the Devil Homeless, visit .

In contrast, after His resurrection, Jesus revealed Himself to the disciples through the breaking of bread. “At the Lord’s table, eating opens our eyes to the Lord,” Savchuk says.

One of the biggest problems today is that we do not understand the value of communion the way the early church did. “May I submit to you that in our Western world, we have reduced the Lord’s Supper to something at the end of the service. In the early church, it was the service,” Savchuk says.

Early Christians gathered not just to hear a message or enjoy fellowship—they came to the table of the Lord. These agape feasts were so integral that outsiders accused Christians of cannibalism due to their language about eating flesh and drinking blood.

“Jesus does not compare manna… to a daily devotional life. He compares manna to His bread, to His body, and to His blood,” he says. To eat and drink of Christ is to receive His life and partake in His sacrifice, proclaiming our full devotion to the One who gave it all for us.

Ultimately, it means that communion is about something much greater than ourselves. It calls us to look directly at our relationship with Jesus and the church’s stance with Him. “Communion is not just about you and Jesus; it’s about us and Jesus,” Savchuk warns.

Communion is not about personal worthiness but about honoring the One who was worthy. “This is My body, broken for you. Do this in remembrance of Me,” Jesus told us. In that sacred act, we look back to the cross, look forward to His return and look around at the body of Christ—remembering, proclaiming and living in covenant love.

With God the Impossible Becomes Possible

When life feels impossible, remember that with God nothing is beyond reach. When you are pressed to the wall, don’t give up!

In Genesis 32, we see Jacob struggling with having to go meet his estranged brother. Frankly, Jacob made the problems with his brother Esau. Unfortunately, some of the problems we face, are a result of our choices as well. Don’t fear—God can still do the impossible when we have done wrong.

Breaking NewsSpirit-Filled Stories. Subscribe to Charisma on YouTube now!

Back to Jacob, he had to go back into the Promised Land and face Esau. One night, an angel met with Jacob and wrestled with him all night long. Jacob said the angel, unless you bless me I won’t let you go. That was an aggressive faith move, but God likes aggressiveness. God blessed Jacob, who faced Esau without a problem, and God prospered Jacob.

In Luke 18:1-8, Jesus tells a story about always praying and never giving up. The story is about a widow who went before a judge who didn’t fear God or care about people. The judge ignored her, but she kept going back. She didn’t give up. Finally the judge rendered a decision in favor of the widow because she wore him out with her constant requests.

Jesus says we need to pray like that widow because it’s not over until you win. If you give up, you’ll never win, but it you hold on in prayer there will come a day when you’ll win. God can take whatever impossible situation you’re in, and He will make it possible. God’s Word says you’re always triumphant in Christ—now a half or a third of the time—but always triumphant. Never give up!

Jesus further teaches about persistence in Luke 11:5-8. The story is about a man who goes to a friend’s house at midnight, wanting to borrow bread. The friend responds saying to not bother him because the door’s locked and the family is in bed. The man kept knocking until he got his bread. Jesus says the lesson is that if you are persistent, you will prevail.

We tend to look at all the inconveniences, circumstances, and challenges, when we should simply look to God and not give up. Your problem could be God’s opportunity to give you a miracle. In Matthew 7:7, Jesus tells us exactly how to move from the impossible to the miraculous: “keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you.”

Ask, seek, and keep believing. Seeking is like warfare. Perhaps you may also need to fast or pray more intensely, and pray longer. Maybe you’ve asked and you’ve seeked, but nothing is happening. Don’t give up because the next step is to knock. Knock and keep knocking. Be persistent. God has given you the power to win.

With God by your side, the impossible can be possible. Every time we speak God’s Word, we choose life—which makes the impossible, possible.

Christians Must Support the Ministry of Motherhood

Each year, Mother’s Day offers us a moment to honor the women who have shaped our lives through their love, faith, and sacrifice. But this day should do more than spark gratitude—it should remind us of a deeper truth: motherhood is a ministry. And just like any ministry, it is one that needs to be uplifted by the body of Christ.

To be a mother is to be called into a ministry that is both deeply personal and eternally significant. It’s a ministry of presence—of being there when no one else can be. It is a ministry of teaching—instilling values not only with words but with examples. It is a ministry of prayer, of intercession and spiritual leadership within the home. This kind of ministry doesn’t come with public recognition or a paycheck, but its fruit is everlasting.

Breaking News. Spirit-Filled Stories. Subscribe to Charisma on YouTube now!

In fact, some of the most powerful discipleship in the world is happening not in churches or seminaries, but in kitchens and nurseries, in bedtime prayers and morning carpool lines. God uses mothers to form hearts, to teach grace, and to model faithfulness, often in the unseen and uncelebrated moments. That’s why we must never view motherhood as a lesser calling. It is holy ground.

Motherhood is also a mission field. It is a place where values are instilled, faith is nurtured and futures are shaped. Mothers sow seeds of faith and love, often without applause, but with eternal impact. That is ministry in its purest form.

Yet like all ministries, motherhood comes with challenges—emotional, spiritual, physical and of course financial. Many mothers carry silent burdens: exhaustion, isolation, or fear. Some are raising children alone. Others are stretched thin by the demands of modern life. That’s why lifting up mothers is not only kind—it’s a spiritual imperative.

If we truly believe motherhood is a ministry, then we must come alongside moms as co-laborers. We must be willing to support, encourage, and equip them for the long road of raising the next generation. A community should affirm that every mother matters, that her sacrifice is seen, and that she should never walk alone.

This is why pregnancy care centers—many of them quietly serving in neighborhoods across America—play an important role. They don’t just advocate for life; they walk alongside women at the beginning of their motherhood journey, often when it’s hardest. And though their work is essential, it’s only the beginning. The ongoing call for followers of Christ is to stand with mothers, not just in the moment of crisis, but through the lifelong road of parenting. To be a mother is to carry life, nurture it, and point it toward the Creator. In doing so, mothers participate in a divine partnership with God Himself—the author of life.

We must also recognize that Mother’s Day is not easy for everyone. Some mourn the loss of a child, others grieve broken relationships, and some carry the pain of unfulfilled longing. These women are no less part of the ministry of motherhood. God sees their tears, grieves with them, and draws near to them with compassion. The Church must do the same.

As we reflect on the gift of mothers this weekend, why don’t we go beyond appreciation and step into action? Let’s behold motherhood as the God-ordained, life-shaping, soul-forming ministry it is – and then find ways to consistently support mothers in our homes, churches, and neighborhoods. We need to do this with the same intentionality we would show any missionary or pastor.

To mother is to minister. The impact of that ministry will stretch far beyond this life—into generations to come and eternity itself. Let’s put it on the pedestal it deserves.

Accessing God’s Power Through Grace and Faith

God has a great plan for each person’s life, and He wants us to enjoy every day of our lives. But we can’t do it if we live in fear and lack confidence. Confidence is the belief that you’re able to do what you need to do. God gives us confidence, but we need to know how to access it by faith.

God-given confidence is actually the grace of God. We usually hear grace defined as God’s undeserved favor or God doing something for you that you don’t deserve. But it’s really more than that. It was life-changing for me to learn that grace is also God’s power, freely given to me, to enable me to do with ease what I could not do on my own with any amount of struggle or effort.

Breaking NewsSpirit-Filled Stories. Subscribe to Charisma on YouTube now!

Think about this for a minute. Everyone who accepts Jesus as their Savior is taught that we’re saved by grace through faith. Ephesians 2:8-9 (NKJV) says, “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.” But the same way we are saved is the way we are supposed to live. In other words, once we are born again, God wants us to do everything in life by grace through faith.

This has been one of the greatest revelations of my life. I remember how exciting it was to realize that God is not just there to help us when we have an emergency. God wants to be involved in every single thing we do on a day-to-day basis. There’s nothing you’re involved in that God doesn’t care about, and He wants you to pray and ask Him to help you with every detail of your life. He doesn’t want you to live striving in your own effort to do anything. God wants to be your close, personal, intimate friend.

I was a Christian for years before I learned how to access God’s grace, or power, to live my everyday life. First, I had to get an understanding that once I was saved, God didn’t expect me to live right by my own strength. Just as I couldn’t “earn” salvation through my own works or effort, I also couldn’t really change my heart or behavior in my own strength. Jesus says in John 15:4 (NIV), “…No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.”

Every day we need to come to God and tell Him, “God, I can do nothing without You. Nothing in my life is going to work without You. Apart from You, there is nothing good in me. My confidence is in You. I need You all the time. I believe You and trust You, Lord.” When we humble ourselves before God and ask Him for help, we can access His grace through faith.

So, to help you do that, I want to share three things that commonly short-circuit our faith, cutting off our access to God’s power: complaining, self-pity and pride.

  • Complaining is a negative attitude that keeps us from being thankful for all God has done, is doing, and will do. It is a sin we need to repent of, and then be determined to thank God in all things, at all times. His grace and blessings always outweigh the things we think are wrong in our life.
  • Self-pity is simply a “poor me” attitude. It is a form of idolatry because it causes you to focus on yourself and think, “What about me?” But we can’t be pitiful and powerful at the same time, so let’s decide to give up all self-pity.
  • Pride takes credit for what God has done and steals His glory. It makes us independent of God, and we can’t bear good fruit apart from Christ.

Before I learned how to live my life by God’s grace, I was a mess. I was a nagging wife, a manipulator, and controlling. And I wasn’t satisfied living like that. Then God helped me by opening my eyes to see that I couldn’t really change until I started taking His Word seriously and trusted Him to change me. When I made a firm decision to pray and study the Word in areas where I was weak, then God’s grace gave me the power I needed to overcome the things that were wrong. And I keep going forward in my journey with God the same way today.

God has all the power you need to do anything you need to do. He loves you and wants to give you His power to live your daily life with joy. Lean on Him with absolute trust in His wisdom and goodness, and live with God-given confidence.

John Bevere: 3 Things That May Be Blocking God’s Call on Your Life

When most people hear the phrase “You have a call on your life,” their minds often leap to ministry. But John Bevere, in a recent podcast episode alongside his son Arden, is challenging that narrow definition. “If you hear somebody say, ‘I’ve got a call on my life,’ where do our minds go? Ministry. It’s positions of ministry, pastors, worship leaders,” Bevere said. “That is the most untrue statement.”

Join Charisma Magazine Online to follow everything the Holy Spirit is doing around the world!

According to Bevere, everyone has a specific calling—not just those in church leadership. He points to Ephesians 2:10 and Psalm 139 as the foundation: “We are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus… every day of my life was recorded in Your book.”

Breaking NewsSpirit-Filled Stories. Subscribe to Charisma on YouTube now!

But walking in that calling, he says, requires something more than ambition. “It is impossible to fulfill what we have been created to do in our own ability,” he said. “Why did God make it like that? So we’d rely on Him.”

Three Barriers That Keep People from Their Calling

Bevere unpacks Luke 9 and 10 to explain three key obstacles:

  1. Comfort and Security
“Foxes have holes. Birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man doesn’t have anywhere to lay his head.”
According to Bevere, this man “put a high premium on security and comfort.”
  2. Money
“Let me first go bury my father,” one man told Jesus. Bevere explains that in Jewish tradition, burying the father secures the double inheritance. “So he starts backing up—and so do a lot of other people.”
  3. Relationships
“Let me first go and bid them farewell who are at my house.”
Jesus replied, “No one having put his hand to the plow and looking back is fit for the kingdom.” Bevere said, “How many times have I seen wrong relationships cost people the call of God on their life?”

Three Steps to Discovering Your Calling

Bevere and Arden also laid out a roadmap to purpose:

  1. Diligently Seek God in Faith
“The Bible says without faith it’s impossible to please God… He rewards those who seek Him diligently.”
  2. Get Planted in a Local Church or Ministry
“Those who are planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish,” Bevere quoted from Psalm 92:13. “If I plant a seed in the soil, it’s going to grow.”
  3. Avoid Distractions and Cultural Drift
“This life has a current,” Bevere warned. “If we don’t have direction, we’re going to be pulled by the currents—whatever’s happening on social media… we become somebody we weren’t intended to be.”

And perhaps the most freeing truth? Your calling might not look like anyone else’s. “There never has been another you. There never will be another you,” Arden said. “If you just copy your life based off of everyone else around you, then you are robbing the world of the unique expression of who God created you to be.”
