Prophetic Dream: Azusa Awakening—4 Marks of the Coming Revival

On March 6, 2021, I had a dream where I saw several letter/postal boxes. The word “Azusa” was highlighted with a clear background on one of them, but I could not see what was written on the other post boxes, as the boxes were blacked out and not highlighted like the Azusa Street letterbox.

I woke up from this dream with these words in my spirit: “The Azusa Street Revival.” The Lord then put a Scripture in my spirit: “Until the Spirit is poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness becomes a fruitful field” (Isa. 32:15a).

After I woke up, I began to pray for an outpouring of the Spirit of God upon our lives, streets and nations. Such was the impact of this revival in Azusa from 1906-1910 that the streets were flooded with the powerful outpouring of God’s Spirit, and the building could no longer contain those who came to be touched by God.

Tongues were loosed as many were baptized in the Spirit and many souls were saved. Although the timing of the revival itself was only from 1906-1910, it has impacted the Pentecostal movement many years after.

I sensed that the Lord highlighted the word “Azusa” in my dream because He longs for us to ask Him to revive this move in our nations once again.

A Season of Another Azusa-Type Revival Is Upon Us

In the dream I had, I believe the letterboxes represented past and future revivals, but the Azusa letterbox was highlighted because God works with seasons and times and this is heaven’s season for an outpouring—similar to the Azusa Revival, but I believe it will be far greater than the original.

The Azusa Revival was characterized by God’s Shekinah glory in the meetings, baptism in the Spirit and a powerful outpouring of God’s glory overflowing into the streets where many souls were saved. The original Azusa Street Revival led to the Pentecostal movement that spread around the world. The nations are ready for another visitation of this outpouring. This time, outpourings of God’s Spirit will start spontaneously in many nations, rather than in one location.

What will be the marks of this revival?

  1. The Spirit will fall spontaneously on preachers of the gospel. Some years ago, I had a dream where the Spirit fell on a Black woman preacher that I had not seen before, and her words became filled with such extraordinary power that awe and wonder fell on those who listened to her, and a crowd surrounded her listening with joy to the gospel she preached as they gave glory to God.

I believe this will be a revival where the faithful preachers of the gospel will be rewarded with visitations of God’s power.

  1. Outpourings of healing in unexpected places. On Jan. 7, 2021, I had a dream where as I walked outside, I passed by a very sick woman. The Spirit fell on me as I did so, causing me to instinctively lay hands on her to release healing. God’s Spirit fell on me, which caused me to do this in a place and season where physical contact during a pandemic was discouraged. The woman fell under the anointing as I laid hands on her, laying still as it happened.

A crowd gathered, distressed, as they had seen the woman fall after I had laid hands on her but didn’t understand why. They called the police to report me, thinking I had caused harm to her. The police came with the intent to arrest me when the woman got up with a big smile on her face, totally healed. The police, seeing this miracle, were unable to make the arrest.

The Scripture the Lord gave me after the Azusa dream was about the Spirit being poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness becoming a fruitful field (Isa. 32:15). I believe my dream of this spontaneous healing will be one of the marks of this Azusa-type of outpouring that the Lord wants to release. Outpourings of healing will spring forth in many places, including marketplaces. Lives that have been bereft of joy will be impacted by these outpourings of healing.

  1. The Shekinah Glory will rest in meetings. After the initial Azusa Street Revival ended, William Seymour, who was regarded as the leader of this movement, had declared that around 100 years from then an even greater outpouring would be released, and that one of the hallmarks would be God’s Shekinah glory resting in meetings.

Around 2014, I had a dream where, in a meeting, I was about to begin laying hands on the sick, when a man, led by the Spirit, told me that I did not need to do so, as the Lord was releasing a realm of glory around me where I would not need to lay hands on the sick in meetings, because in this realm of glory, the sick would automatically be healed.

Since that dream, I have experienced this intermittently in some meetings, but in April/May this year, whilst ministering at churches in Nigeria, the Lord released such a realm of glory that believers wept, while others exclaimed with joy as their sickness, pain, eye sight and injuries were healed in the glory, without me laying hands on them. This happened in all of the meetings.

One of these notable healings was a boy who looked about 10 years old, who sobbed as his body shook uncontrollably. He shared how all the pain had left his body and how just a day before the meeting, he had begged his older brother to take away his pain. He had been healed in the glory!

As I spoke, God’s glory wave swept the meetings, bringing instantaneous healings to many. I believe this is a foretaste of God’s glory that is going to gain momentum and acceleration. In meetings like this, and others, there are reports of God’s healing glory. I hear in my Spirit: “Watch and pray, for this will increase!”

  1. Tent meetings that host His glory. In the Old Testament there was a tent of meeting that hosted the glory of God. Such was the glory therein that Joshua the son of Nun would not depart but lingered (Ex. 33:11). We have seen some truly amazing reports of tent meetings of God’s glory in America. Tent meetings are springing up in England and other parts of the world. There will be an increase of God’s glory in these tents of meeting that are gathered to bring in the harvest.

I declare over everyone reading this post: Be filled with His power to overflowing! May your tongues be loosed to declare His wonders and gospel like never before. May rivers of His boldness fall on you as we believe for a revival of this great move of God’s Spirit. {eoa}

How Bob Kilpatrick Wrote ‘In My Life, Lord, Be Glorified’ as a Private Worship Song

When he wrote the song, “In My Life, Lord, Be Glorified,” in 1976, Bob Kilpatrick didn’t intend for it to be sung publicly. On a recent episode of the Strang Report podcast, Kilpatrick told me he only had wanted it to be a prayer to be shared between three people—himself, his wife, Cindy, and Jesus.

But because she was so deeply touched by the song, Cindy convinced him that it was a song for the masses. She said to him, “You don’t understand. That song is a gift from God to His people. And if you don’t sing it, you’re going to have to answer for that.”

Not wanting to be held eternally accountable for withholding his talents and something so precious and powerful from God’s people, Kilpatrick recorded the song. The song has impacted millions, and, more than four and a half decades later, the song continues to touch the hearts and lives of people around the world.

“That [1976] was quite a year, and the song just took off,” says Kilpatrick, now an author and a speaker at churches and conferences around the world. “I mean, we had nothing then, and I didn’t know anything about the music business. I didn’t really know anything about what I was doing. I was making it up as I went along.

“When I sang the song, a friend of mine heard it and said he wanted to sing it at Calvary Chapel in Costa Mesa, California. He took it down there and, as their worship leader, sang it every Saturday night for two years. Karen Lafferty, a Christian musician, heard it and she said she wanted to take the song with her over to Europe, and she did.

“All of a sudden, we were getting letters from all over the world asking to this song. I was completely taken aback by it,” Kilpatrick continued. “Tommy Coombs from Maranatha Music contacted me and said, ‘We love your song, and we’d like to use it on our next praise album.’ We put together some contracts, and so, Tommy did a great favor for us.

“I was ready to give the thing away,” Kilpatrick recalls.

“And he said, ‘No, you’re going to be the publisher on this.’ That’s what made it possible for us to stay in the ministry and to continue singing and blessing these little churches in Northern California. And, I’m tremendously thankful God has been faithful to guide us all along the way, in this song and in the publishing business. Everything about it has been remarkable.”

Bob went on to write another classic gospel tune called “Here I Am (Send Me to the Nations).” He is also known for songs like “God is Good,” “Won by One,” “Sold Out and Radical” and “I Will Not Be Ashamed.”

His song “Bring Them Home” was sung at Mother Teresa’s funeral service in Calcultta, India, in 1997.

Bob began full-time ministry at age 17, and he has co-labored with a veritable “Who’s Who” roster, including people like Jack Hayford, Corrie ten Boom, Michael W. Smith, Lincoln Brewster, Anne Graham Lotz, Keith Green, Phil Keaggy and Andre Crouch. He is an ordained minister, and was the third inductee into the Assemblies of God Hall of Honor.

Bob and Cindy have remained in California, and he’s convinced that revival is coming soon to that state and to the rest of the nation.

“Because of everything that has happened in California, we ought to get out, but we’re staying because of the new revival that is going to hit the West Coast,” Kilpatrick said. “God answers prayer and He listens to us when we pray. He is willing, more and more, to bless His people and to bless His world.”

What May Be Keeping God From Answering Your Prayers

Have you ever prayed to God and then wondered, Now what?

“Did it work? Did God hear me? Is there anything that I need to do now?”

The short answer is yes.

Most of us spend the better part of our prayer life focused on what to say. But what if the answer to most of our questions about prayer was actually more about what we do?

When you look at how Jesus responded to people’s requests, most of the time the work was not done when they asked; It had only just begun.

In my latest book After Amen: What to do When You’re Waiting on God, I go over 7 things Jesus tells us to do. (You can even get it on Audible!)

What’s interesting is that the Gospels not only tell us what to do after we pray, but they even explain to us why God may not answer us in the first place.

In the most recent episode of my podcast Leading Simple on the Charisma Podcast Network, we go over one very common thing that keeps God from even considering our prayers (take a listen here).

And spoiler alert: It’s something we can fix pretty quickly. {eoa}

Lifeway Worship Song Includes NASA Sounds of Space

A star-studded ensemble of celestial bodies adorns a new worship anthem celebrating the God of creation.

“Count the Stars,” produced by Lifeway Worship, features the electromagnetic “voices” of planets, stars and galaxies. The authentic audio recordings captured and licensed by NASA provide an audio background to the anthem, while telescopic NASA photographs of deep space visually adorn the piece.

Arranged by Kent Hooper and Phillip Keveren, “Count the Stars” reflects the theme of Psalm 8:3-4 in which King David writes, “When I observe your heaven, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is a human being that you remember him, a son of man that you look after him?”

“When I first heard the song, I was blown away by how it opens your imagination to consider how big God is,” said Craig Adams, creative director at Lifeway. “Not long before this, I had been privy to a study where NASA had electromagnetically captured the sounds of celestial bodies. I go to church with some NASA employees who were able to help us get some of those sounds, along with footage from deep space to accompany the song.”

In “Count the Stars,” the sounds of the cosmos are overlaid with human voices declaring praise through the chorus:

When I try to count the stars / I remember just how big you are /Who am I that you would think of me? / I can’t fathom all you’ve done / The beauty and the wonder / Of your faithfulness in everything I see / I’m reminded of the mighty God You are / When I try to count the stars

“When I first read the lyrics, I had the feeling we’ve all experienced when laying on a blanket, looking up at the stars and realizing it’s just so vast. It makes you feel, not insignificant, but small in a way that’s big,” said Keveren, who described the arrangement as “a cosmic stew” made up of digital keyboard samplings, a traditional orchestra, human voices and the sounds of the universe.

From its first line to closing refrain, “Count the Stars” seeks to create a sense of awe, juxtaposed against the humbling knowledge that the Lord would have His eye upon the very humanity He took on through the incarnation. The song’s bridge hints at parallels between the first light of creation and the light of Christ which overcomes the darkness:

“You set the heavens in motion / Speaking the chaos to life / In the blink of a moment, darkness surrendered to light.”

“We know that the rocks and the hills, the streams and the clouds, the planets and galaxies—the entire universe is singing the song of God,” said Adams. “Our hope is that this song would not only stretch people’s minds and hearts, but also their souls as they join in, every day, the great song of creation.”

Can We Stop Arguing About Speaking in Tongues?

I have had a private “prayer language” since I was 18 years old. No one taught me how to pray in tongues. I was raised in a church that didn’t teach about the spiritual gifts mentioned in the New Testament. In fact, the first person I ever heard speaking in tongues was me, at the moment Jesus baptized me in the Holy Spirit.

I don’t think of myself as superior to anyone because I have this gift. Most people have never heard me pray in tongues because I do it in my private devotional time. But because I’ve written about it and preach about it often, some people have questioned it or even accused me of promoting false teaching.

One prominent fundamentalist leader published a book in 2013 in which he claims that the gift of glossolalia was only valid in New Testament times. This same leader (whom I consider a brother in Christ) mocked my experience and accused me of heresy. In his theology, all supernatural manifestations of the Holy Spirit described in the book of Acts stopped after the Bible was compiled.

People will probably argue about speaking in tongues until Jesus comes back. Meanwhile, we have a world to win for Christ. Don’t we need all the spiritual power heaven has offered us?

Paul the apostle, who wrote a huge percentage of the New Testament, didn’t apologize for speaking in tongues. He told the Corinthians: “I thank God, I speak in tongues more than you all” (1 Cor. 14:18, NASB 1995). He also emphasized that he prayed in the Spirit privately. The gift of tongues was not a badge Paul wore to prove he was super-spiritual; it was not to be flaunted, showcased, misused or abused. But neither did Paul ignore it or downgrade it.

For Paul, the gift of tongues was a source of inner strength, and I’m sure it was one of the secrets of his success in carrying the gospel to the whole known world. Here are three of the primary reasons we desperately need this gift today:

Praying in the Spirit recharges you. You would probably never go far from your house without your phone charger. Why? You will be disconnected if your battery dies. Praying in the Spirit is God’s provision for the strengthening of your “inner man.” Paul said: “One who speaks in a tongue edifies himself” (1 Cor. 14:4a). The Greek word here for “edifies” means “to restore, rebuild or repair.” How blessed we are that the Holy Spirit gives us a means to regain new strength when we are weary, overwhelmed, depleted or simply in need of special help.

Praying in the Spirit releases God’s wisdom and direction. Paul said that one who speaks in a tongue “speaks mysteries” (1 Cor. 14:2). We don’t know what we are saying, yet God reveals His truth to us as we pray. In Romans 8:26, Paul says when we pray in the spirit, “the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words.”

I can’t count the number of times God has given me inspired solutions to problems while I was praying in tongues. I didn’t know what I was saying, yet thoughts popped into my head that I knew were not my own. Why would you want to lean on your own understanding when we have a means to directly receive God’s thoughts and plans when we pray?

Praying in the Spirit unleashes extra power. On the day of Pentecost, the disciples prayed in tongues, and I am sure they continued praying in that manner. The flames on their heads did not remain visible, but the fire continued to blaze inside them. We should never quench the fire of Pentecost; it should be a perpetual flame that we stoke every day. This is why Paul warned the Corinthians: “Do not forbid to speak in tongues” (1 Cor. 14:39b).

Paul prayed both in tongues and in his native language. He wrote: “What is the outcome then? I will pray with the spirit and I will pray with the mind also; I will sing with the spirit and I will sing with the mind also” (1 Cor. 14:15). Paul didn’t limit his prayers to one track; his prayers had what we might describe as a one-two punch. His prayers had double impact because of the added spiritual dimension of a heavenly language.

Like Elisha, we receive a double-portion mantle when we are filled with the Holy Ghost. Why be confined to natural limitations when we have been invited to step into a supernatural dimension? Pray in the Spirit often. Stay refilled and charged. Take advantage of every spiritual gift God has given us so the world can see a demonstration of His power. {eoa}

Prophecy: Come Boldly to the Throne of Glory

The Lord has said in His Word that we are to come boldly before His throne! The blood of Jesus gives us full access.

Nevertheless, this does not allow us to come in arrogance. We come dressed in the mantle of humility in the royal robes of salvation and righteousness. Arrogance and religion have no place at the throne.

Pride does not exist in God and cannot exist in heaven or at the throne. God wants His body to get clean, get dressed and get ready to dwell in glory, to be granted full access to the throne room. When Joseph was summoned to go before Pharaoh, he washed and put on clean garments. In Zechariah 3, after the angels removed the filthy garments from Joshua the high priest, they put clean clothes on him and a clean turban on his head. Joshua was then given charge of God’s courts and access to the throne.

The throne is the place of authority from where we rule and reign in Christ. It is therefore important that we learn to live from the throne zone and from the heart of God. With God’s heart, mind and authority, we can rule in all situations. We become God’s kingdom representatives. It is time to get rid of our victim mentality and begin to identify with Christ as a ruler—in His power, authority and mandate.

This is our inheritance. It is important to God that we learn to occupy this ascended place!

I believe the re-release of the outpouring at Pentecost, or the second Pentecost some are expecting, does not take place at Pentecost; it will come in the time of the Feast of Tabernacles—the last feast yet to be fulfilled. What began at Pentecost is completed at Tabernacles! However, until then, God is moving toward that day in the power of the Holy Spirit, who is taking us from glory to greater experiences and levels of glory until we are overflowing with the Spirit in fulness. The Lord wants a removal of the walls and a bigger place within us from where He will break out in glory.

“But we all, seeing the glory of the Lord with unveiled faces, as in a mirror, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory by the Spirit of the Lord” (2 Cor. 3:18).

As we behold God in His glory, we are being transformed into His image in the same glory! Being pressed in life produces something within us that has tremendous value to God. His intention is to move us progressively and intentionally through the pressing of the wilderness experience to become a lush land watered with the rains of heaven. We then become the city from which the river flows out to the nations.

You are that city, a ruler city constructed in the image of God.

One of the keys to becoming this city is learning to live in the rest of God. We are now approaching another Shmita year beginning on Rosh Hashanah 5782, which falls on Sept. 7 on the Gregorian calendar. The Shmita is a sabbath year that represents a year of rest. Every seventh year, God ordained a time of rest for the land, forgiveness of debts and release of slaves. During this time, Israel was not allowed to work the land. The people therefore had to have the faith to know God would provide for them supernaturally and trust Him for their provision.

Living in rest is a walk of faith. God said if Israel obeyed His commands, they would be a blessed nation—a lender and not a borrower. We want to be a people who are able to bless others, not those who have to borrow and live in debt—a people who live in the blessings of God. The Shmita was therefore a supernatural year, where God was in full control of the destiny of Hs people and of the land.

We are now heading into an appointed, supernatural Shmita year of divine miracles. We are presently being prepared for an extraordinary year of rest and release in which we cease from our labors and from striving and allow God to rise to His place of lordship in our lives. God is coming to take the wheel to direct the course of the ship. We are about to learn how to become glory dwellers, to live in His divine glory. God took me to 1 Kings 5:2-4 to reveal the principle of great productivity in times of rest.

And Solomon sent word to Hiram, saying,You know how David my father was unable to build a house for the name of the Lord his God because of the wars all around him, until the Lord put his enemies under his feet. But now the Lord my God has given me peace on every side, so that there is neither adversary nor misfortune'” (1 Kings 5:2-4). {eoa}

California Megachurch Pastor Says Obedience to Keep Church Open During Pandemic Made for ‘Exciting’ Time

During the COVID-19 pandemic, churches in each state in America were faced with incredible, heart-wrenching challenges. But no state, perhaps, suffered through the lockdown more than the state of California under liberal Gov. Gavin Newsom.

Charisma News has published stories on Pastor Ché Ahn’s battle with persecution to keep his church, Harvest Rock Church, in Pasadena open to continue to worship God as the Constitution freely allows us. Ahn sued Newsom for banning home Bible studies.

The state of California threatened church officials with fines and jail time, but pastors and churches stood fast through it all until a California district court lifted the ban from indoor worship just recently.

Along with Ahn, many other pastors, including Greg Farrington, the founder of Destiny Christian Church in Rocklin, boldly led the fight against Newsom and were vindicated by the court’s ruling. Farrington says the pandemic journey has helped mold him and his congregation into stronger Christians.

Farrington graciously agreed to share his church’s story on a recent episode of my Strang Report podcast, and you’ll want to download this episode to listen to his incredible journey.

In a season where culture continues its ongoing hostility to Jesus and to the gospel, Farrington says he and his congregation simply needed to stay obedient to God and to trust Him that they would eventually be allowed to meet again. It was a major period of trial and tribulation, but they made it through the fire.

“In a way, it was the most exciting time of my life of pastoring Destiny Church,” Farrington says. “That doesn’t mean it wasn’t challenging. It was exciting. Every week we were believing and trusting at a level maybe we have never believed and trusted in God before. I would never trade the last year for anything in the world, even though we had incredible hardships.

“People were hating on us, there were death threats. But it was a time where we leaned into God like we had never leaned into Him before. I loved that journey.”

Farrington’s congregation, along with Samuel Rodriguez’s New Season Church, were two churches in the Sacramento area that took a bold stand right near the state capitol’s doorstep. After about 11 weeks of the lockdown, Destiny Christian Church decided to open its doors with caution, and the commitment to taking all the precautions it needed to keep the virus from spreading.

“There was a certain level of anxiety and fear because we didn’t know everything,” Farrington says. “We did everything we could to protect people when we first opened the doors. We spread people out in every way you can imagine. We were way cleaner than Costco ever was. Opening the doors for the very first time was a traumatic day. But I can’t tell you what it was like when I stood on the stages after the church doors have been shut for 11 weeks. I just said, ‘Welcome home. Welcome to the house of God. Let’s worship God.’ The place just erupted. It was one of the highlights of my life.”

Why We Must Be Intentionally Intergenerational in Ministry

It was only a five-minute encounter. But that brief meeting changed my life.

I’ve written before about Dr. Charles Green and what I now know was our divine appointment. It happened when his son Michael and I, both 17-year-old high school seniors, made a quick stop by the Word of Faith Temple. Our choir would soon sing in the church’s huge auditorium, and our music teacher sent us to work out a performance detail.

I’d heard of Green’s effective ministry with high school students. But I didn’t expect a busy pastor to notice me, much less stop and speak to me.

I don’t remember just what he said. I do remember that the words of life he spoke over me blossomed in my salvation two years later. They also grew within me the same desire he had to impact generations.

I spent many years replicating Green’s impact in the young souls God sent my way. We shared life, love, laughter and a whole lot of my wife’s shrimp etouffee and jambalaya.

But I also had the opportunity to speak words of life and to share Spirit-birthed truths–to go call the next generation up higher by listening to them more than I spoke.

Years later, when Green and I had another divine encounter at the memorial service for Chancellor Oral Roberts at the University he founded under instructions from the Lord, I took time to thank him for the significant spiritual deposit he made on that day in his church. We continue to speak regularly, and he never fails to impart wisdom and stories only he could tell.

When I think back over my years in education, marketing, ministry and now publishing, I see how God has woven the call to reach, teach and impact the younger generation(s) throughout my life. My staff knows the Lord called me to Charisma to change lives, particularly of those in succeeding generations. And that’s how I see Him using me every day. I’m called to speak life into the next generation.

Not long ago, I had the privilege of spending time with Apostles Craig and Colette Toach and their team of Next Gen Prophets. The Toaches have an international ministry of speaking, writing and hosting the Next Gen Prophets podcast on our network and their own prophetic training school. They pour their lives and hearts into equipping the next generation for kingdom ministry.

As the Lord led us from country to country, and He opened the door slowly, the vision came into view, because it’s progressive,” Colette says. “Nobody decides this is what they’re going to do. Nobody decides they’re going to have a next-generation ministry until one day you wake up and you realize that all the steps you’ve taken in ministry have led to your answer to that question.”

God is bringing back the fullness of the fivefold ministry,” she says. “And I see in each one of these new generations, not just a passion to want to belong, but to be part of a team; they get it: ‘I can’t do this solo anymore.”

But the desire to impact coming generations doesn’t arrive in the natural, she says. “Make no mistake—spiritual parenting is not a career choice—it’s a mandate and call,” she writes on their website at .

Craig adds another essential word about next-generation ministry: Character counts.

Of course, this idea of intergenerational impact has a powerful precedence in Scripture. As the apostle Paul wrote to Timothy, “You share the faith that first filled your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice. And I know that faith continues strong in you” (1 Tim. 1:5b, NLT).

Timothy’s mother and grandmother invested in him, and the resulting fruit blessed Paul and impacted the nations. No doubt, that knowledge lay behind Paul’s later word to the young pastor to “teach these truths to other trustworthy people who will be able to pass them on to others” (2 Tim. 2:2b).

Do you have five minutes? Consider investing time in a young person. The next life you change could impact generations to come.{eoa}

7 Prophetic Promises to Expect in This Pentecost Season

Shavuot or Pentecost is one of the most important feasts and times of our Judeo-Christian faith.

Pentecost is the timeframe where the Torah was given to Moses on top of Mount Sinai and years later, is also the same timeframe where the promise of the Holy Spirit was released in the upper room in Acts 2. Pentecost is a time where the nation and kingdom of God is birthed.

God is birthing something new again.

Another Move of God

In this Pentecost season, expect these seven prophetic promises to be fulfilled:

1. Peace upon Israel. “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: May they prosper who love you!” (Ps. 122:6).

Nearly every year around this Pentecost season, we see something significant take place in the Holy Land. This is not a coincidence but has to do with God’s sovereign timeline of appointed feasts and seasons.

Even in this time of turmoil and crisis among Israel and the surrounding nations, expect peace to come upon Jerusalem! Expect a ceasefire and a demolishing of all enemy forces!

2. Promotions in the Spirit. “When the day of Pentecost had come, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like a mighty rushing wind came from heaven, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting” (Acts 2:1-2).

After a period of 10 days from Christ’s ascension and prophecy of promise, there was only 120 who remained in the upper room in Jerusalem out of the initial 500 who had seen and heard.

God is promoting you in the Spirit to receive what you’ve paid the price for. Those who have pressed through and pushed past the attacks will gain double favor and honor!

3. Positions of authority. Moses was called up to Mount Sinai to receive the Ten Commandments, the Law of God, and Peter stood up amongst the crowd and preached with authority before all.

In this Pentecost season, God is anointing certain individuals and ministries to rise up with a new seat of authority and power.

4. Prayers accelerated. “There appeared to them tongues as of fire, being distributed and resting on each of them, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues, as the Spirit enabled them to speak” (Acts 2:3-4).

Pentecost is a time of awakening and renewal. The Holy Spirit baptized the Acts Church to speak in heavenly languages.

Your prayers will be effectual and will accelerate God’s kingdom purposes.

5. Power to dismantle demonic forces.
“Then those who gladly received his word were baptized, and that day about three thousand souls were added to them” (Acts 2:41).

On the day of Pentecost, 3,000 souls were swept into God’s kingdom from the blindness and the spirit of the age.

Pentecost is the promise of God’s might and power that lives within each and every individual, to dismantle and disrupt all evil forces that surround you.

6. Purity of God’s purposes. The baptism of the fire of the Holy Spirit stands for God’s purity and holiness. God is purifying the church from having mere good religious services to becoming a glorious bride of power and beauty.

God is purifying His people from false alignments, connections and idolatrous religious forms and traditions.

7. Prosperity of God’s people. Every biblical feast has to do with harvest. It is a time of celebration and feasting on God’s abundance, goodness and provision.

This Pentecost season will bless and benefit the people of God with a long and overdue harvest of prosperity and jubilee joy! {eoa}
