Another Pastor Jailed, This One for Alleged ‘Hate Crimes’

Unfortunately, persecution against pastors is becoming the norm in Canada.

Pastor Artur Pawlowski, jailed repeatedly for non-compliance with COVID protocols during the pandemic, was recently released from prison after 51 days in solitary confinement says he has lost count of the criminal charges the Canadian government has brought against him.

And now 36-year-old Rev. Derek Reimer was arrested last week on outstanding warrants for protesting near a drag queen story-time event. He spent Resurrection Sunday in jail and now faces eight new charges, including criminal harassment (against the LGBTQ community), causing a disturbance and breaching his release conditions.

The pastor of the street church ministry Mission 7, Reimer was first arrested on Feb. 25 in which “several men physically tossed him out of Seton Library in Calgary for protesting a Reading with Royalty event,” Fox News Digital reported. The event featured local drag queen performers reading to children.

Pawlowski told Fox News Digital that Reimer’s arrests indicate the government’s “open hatred toward Christianity.”

Fox News Digital reported that Reimer was arrested a second time in a parking lot across the street from Signal Hill Library in Canada, and a video shows police handcuffing him and dragging him across the asphalt before taking him away.

Reimer was “charged with breaching a release order that prohibited him from communicating with self-identified LGBTQ people or being with 200 meters of events involving the LGBTQ community.

Calgary Mayor Jyoti Gondek says the existing laws “are not strong enough” to charge demonstrators who spread vile lies and hatred in public. “I’ll be pushing for more. No more excuses.”

Evangelist Franklin Graham, however, says Reimer was simply following his kingdom calling in protesting the events:

“Pastor Reimer feels that God was calling him to expose and stand up against these events that endanger and seek to indoctrinate children. It’s just wrong to expose children to sexualized, agenda-driven programs like this. Another Canadian pastor, Artur Pawlowski, who was jailed for refusing to go along with what he felt was government overreach in his church related to COVID restrictions and closings during the pandemic, said something we should pay heed to:

“‘I’ve warned Canadians for a very long time—and I’m warning Americans as well—that you will be ruled by what you tolerate. If you tolerate corruption, you will be ruled by corruption. If you tolerate perversion, you will eventually be ruled by perversion.’ These are true and wise words of warning for all of us.”

This video by CTV News espouses what appears to be yet another anti-Christian view by the secular media.March CM Cover {eoa}

Glenn Beck: ‘Nefarious’ Movie, Preparing the Way for the Return of Jesus

March CM CoverThe topic of deliverance ministry has been, thankfully, brought back into the limelight of modern Christianity.

Many Christians today have the misfortune of no longer believing in the power of demonic forces or, I believe, that by simply saying they are a Christian that they have nothing to fear from the devil.

This could not be further from the truth. We have been watching the fundamental transformation of America for some time now, and I cannot say that I am surprised it has happened. {eoa}

Glenn Beck with Jonathan Cahn: Revealing the Shocking Truths About America Today

The warnings are sounding across the modern world that by turning its back to God, much worse is going to move in and take His place.

Shedding light on the state of America today, Rabbi Jonathan Cahn joined Glenn Beck’s radio program on Thursday, Apr. 6, and discussed just how the country descended into paganism so quickly and the repercussions of it. Cahn’s visit with Glenn Beck was so engaging and explosive, Beck invited Cahn back for a second day’s visit on Friday, Apr. 7, presented in the episode “Why America Lost Its Superpower Status” on The Glenn Beck Program on The Blaze.

Beck shared that Cahn addressed the issues that have millions of American living in fear and uncertainty today in Cahn’s newest book “The Return of the Gods,” presently sitting at #3 on Amazon overall for all books.

“We are witnessing changes in America that are massive, that are irrational, that even people who are not believers are saying, ‘What is going on?'”

Cahn reveals that the answer to the questions people have about the state of America is it has fully embraced the same pagan practices that the ancient world once held.

Believing Jesus warned His followers that this can happen not just to men but to nations as well (Matt. 12:43-45), Cahn shares that he believes the return of the spirits that orchestrated paganism in the ancient world have returned and are shaping America into their image.

“What’s been happening to America for the last half century or so, and the West, is that what we are witnessing is a repossession. We’re witnessing a paganization. The [goal] of the spirits is to turn a Christian nation, or a Judeo-Christian nation, into a pagan one,” Cahn says.

“If you look at our society and you think ‘How could we have, in eight years, gone from abortion should be rare, legal and safe to shout your abortion?’ How can we go from a society that says, ‘Hey, love is love, and you should be able to marry whoever you want,’ to drag queen shows with our preschoolers? How does this happen? The answer is: evil is real. And it has taken possession of this country,” concurred Beck.

This removal of God from society that has been taking place for decades was not simply shutting the door on God and His covenant with America. It was holding the door open and inviting in these other spirits that would rapidly corrupt and fundamentally alter the fabric of American society.

Rebellion against God and His principles brings with it punishment toward that nation, just like what happened to ancient Israel.

“When you look at the original test case, it’s Israel. Israel was in covenant with God. And when they turned away form God, it didn’t go well. It was not neutral. What happened is these principalities came into the land, they ended up doing exactly what they’re doing [in America]. We are replaying that,” Cahn warns.

“We’re dealing with exactly what happened to ancient Israel. In fact, not only exactly, but the same principalities that came to Israel when they turned away from God, have now come to America” Cahn adds.

As the world enters the victorious Resurrection weekend to celebrate Jesus’ victory over sin and death, Beck beseeches all believers to join him in lifting up prayers to the Lord and fasting for deliverance from these evils plaguing the world yet again.

“I’m asking you, as an audience member, to fast and pray for our nation. …If we don’t fast and pray, we won’t be able to exercise this [situation]. We have to shake this evil and chase this evil out of our own lives.

“So tomorrow, on Good Friday, I ask you to join me in fasting and praying for our nation,” Beck concluded. {eoa}

Over 30 Rockets Launched at Israel From Lebanon in Largest Attack Since 2006—Major Escalation

Air raid sirens sounded across northern Israel late Thursday afternoon—the first day of Passover—as Israel Defense Forces reported that 34 rockets were fired into Israel from Lebanon, with 25 of them being intercepted by Iron Dome air defense systems.

Five rockets allegedly landed in Israeli territory causing damage, and at least one person was injured from shrapnel, according to local media sites. The IDF and has not released all the data regarding the other rockets, while videos on social media showed footage of the Iron Dome interceptions.

As a result of the barrage of rocket attacks, a number of fires broke out in the northern region and Israel Fire and Rescue services are reportedly working to extinguish them.

The airspace in northern Israel is currently closed to all civilian flights until the situation is under control.

The last significant rocket attack on Israel from Lebanon was in 2021, when Hezbollah fired 19 rockets into Israel’s northern region. The last major rocket barrage was during the second Lebanon war in 2006.

The rocket attacks come just one day after rockets were launched at Israel’s southern border by terror groups in the Gaza Strip, reportedly in response to clashes between Israel Police and Palestinians at Al Aqsa Mosque Tuesday night. Since that incident, Israeli security forces have been concerned about a increased escalation in violence.

The Israeli Air Force also struck several sites in Gaza on Wednesday in response to the rockets fired from the Strip early yesterday morning.

No group has claimed responsibility as of this report, but Hezbollah in Lebanon indicated yesterday that it was willing to take part with Palestinian terror groups in the conflict against Israel.

There were scattered reports in Lebanese social media claiming today’s attacks were in retaliatory response to the killing of two Hezbollah members by Israeli air strikes in Syria earlier this week.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is meeting with senior defense officials to coordinate response.

This is a developing story… {eoa}

He Is Risen! Thousands Gather at Empty Tomb in Jerusalem to Celebrate Christ’s Resurrection

With COVID restrictions lifted, Christians were finally able to gather today for the first time in three years to attend morning services at The Garden Tomb in Jerusalem to celebrate the death and Resurrection of Jesus of Nazareth.

British-born Pastor Stephen Bridge, director of The Garden Tomb, told those attending the 6:30 a.m. sunrise service that he and his colleagues weren’t sure how many people would show up this year.

They had originally planned only one in-person English language service at 9:00 a.m., which would also be livestreamed globally.

But sensing the Lord’s encouragement, Bridge decided to hold the sunrise service after all.

Bridge said he was stunned to see the garden’s seating completely packed, with many having to stand in the back and on the sides through the worship, prayer time and teaching from the Bible.

Between the two English-language services and the noon Scandinavian service, several thousand Christians worshipped at The Garden Tomb today.

“Located just outside the city walls of Jerusalem you will find The Garden Tomb, a possible location for the crucifixion, burial and resurrection of Christ Jesus,” notes the ministry’s website. “Near to the Damascus Gate and standing in the shadow of Skull Hill you will find this beautiful garden with its ancient empty tomb. Since 1894 the focus of our ministry is Worship and Witness, as we declare the victory of the risen Christ.”

Teaching the Gospel Accounts

In addition to classic worship songs and hymns about the death and Resurrection of Jesus, numerous biblical passages were read, including the account of the first Easter Sunday as recorded in the Gospel According to Luke.

But on the first day of the week, at early dawn, they came to the tomb bringing the spices which they had prepared. And they found the stone rolled away from the tomb, but when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. While they were perplexed about this, behold, two men suddenly stood near them in dazzling clothing; and as the women were terrified and bowed their faces to the ground, the men said to them, “Why do you seek the living One among the dead? He is not here, but He has risen. Remember how He spoke to you while He was still in Galilee, saying that the Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.” And they remembered His words, and returned from the tomb and reported all these things to the eleven and to all the rest. Now they were Mary Magdalene and Joanna and Mary the mother of James; also the other women with them were telling these things to the apostles. But these words appeared to them as nonsense, and they would not believe them. But Peter got up and ran to the tomb; stooping and looking in, he *saw the linen wrappings only; and he went away to his home, marveling at what had happened (Luke 24:1-12, NASB).

The interchange between Jesus and Martha—just before Jesus raises Martha’s brother, Lazarus, from the dead, was also recounted.

“Jesus said to her, ‘I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in Me will live even if he dies, and everyone who lives and believes in Me will never die. Do you believe this?” She said to Him, “Yes, Lord; I have believed that You are the Christ, the Son of God, even He who comes into the world'” (John 11:25-27)

The Central Text of the Morning

The main focus of Bridge’s message was the Apostle Paul’s first letter to the Jewish and Gentile followers of Jesus in the Greek city of Corinth.

Now I make known to you, brethren, the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received, in which also you stand, by which also you are saved, if you hold fast the word which I preached to you, unless you believed in vain. For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, and that He appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve. After that He appeared to more than five hundred brethren at one time, most of whom remain until now, but some have fallen asleep; then He appeared to James, then to all the apostles; and last of all, as to one untimely born, He appeared to me also (1 Cor. 15:1-8).

“Resurrection changed everything,” Bridge said. “There’s no doubt that the victory was won on the cross. It was at the cross that Jesus destroyed the powers of Satan and took everything upon Himself. And He did say, ‘It is finished.’ And when they laid him in the tomb, His Spirit was already with the Father: ‘Into Your hands, Father, I commend My Spirit.’ And He breathed his last.”

“The job [of conquering the curse of sin and death] was done on what we call Good Friday, but the victory was revealed on Easter Sunday, and it has transformed the world,” Bridge continued.

“How have you been transformed by this message?” he asked. “Has anyone here been transformed by this man, Jesus?”

Bridge went on to share some of his personal story of how his realization that Jesus really is the Messiah—and why he placed his trust in Jesus to forgive all his sins and adopt him into God’s family—fundamentally transformed his own life.

He also shared several examples of how God had answered his fervent prayers and healed his father of a serious heart condition, and healed his son of chronic fatigue.

“I know what it feels like to meet some of the risen Christ,” Bridge said. “I know what it is to have a testimony. And that’s what I’m sharing with you this morning.”

“We don’t get all the healing we want or need this side of the resurrection, our resurrection,” he noted. “But healing has been released into the world. And God does restore broken lights. Physically, mentally, spiritually, he brings restoration to those that He loves. That’s why He came. … So, if at any point in your life you’re suffering under the destructive powers of the evil one, for this purpose, Christ was revealed to destroy that thing that’s assailing your lives. He’s here to heal now.”

“So, as we conclude our service, as we sing the songs and pray together, I encourage you to move from an academic, theological statement—’I believe in Jesus; I believe He is the Son of God; I believe he died and rose again’—to a life-transforming statement, to truly understanding that He’s here now, standing in our midst, with the power to heal you now.” {eoa}

Morning Rundown: America Continues Its Spiritual Awakening as Hundreds Baptized in Gatlinburg

America Continues Its Spiritual Awakening as Hundreds Baptized in Gatlinburg

In the weeks and months since the “Asbury Awakening,” the move of God continues to unfold on secular and Christian college campuses, youth events and at churches across the country.

As CBN News reported, the Holy Spirit continues to spark fires of revival in the hearts and minds of young people.

Winterfest, an annual youth rally near Gatlinburg, Tennessee, in February saw hundreds respond to the gospel call to be baptized.

Lee Grady: ‘People Are Seeing the Demonic Realm Like Never Before’

Evangelist Lee Grady says that Satan has made a huge mistake in our culture, and it’s time for God’s people to take advantage of it and fix the huge mess he has created in our society.

In the wake of last week’s tragic shooting at The Covenant School in Nashville, in which three children and three adults were senselessly murdered, Grady says people are beginning to see with their eyes, and hearts, the enemy’s diabolical and sinister agenda of transgenderism and gender dysphoria.

The assassination of six people by Audrey Hale is a mental health issue, but it is mostly a spiritual issue, Grady says. Satan’s biggest mistake is that people—even non-believers—can see the depravity and nefariousness in it.

Spiritual Leaders Make National Prayer Call for Trump

March CM CoverWhen Donald Trump was elected to the presidency of the United States in 2016, many conservative Christians saw it, as Stephen Strang said in his book, “God and Donald Trump,” as a “cultural-revolution and an answer to prayer.”

For those who are still supporting Trump after a rather tumultuous four-year stint as U.S. President and subsequent events over the past three years, they might want to get on their knees in prayer for him once again.

On Tuesday, Trump made history as the first U.S. President, former or sitting, to have criminal charges brought against him. He was indicted last week and arraigned in a Manhattan criminal court yesterday, with 34 felony counts brought against him by the Manhattan District Attorney’s office. {eoa}

Christian Mom Denied Adoption for Biblical Beliefs

The nuclear family is the cornerstone of society.

Designed by God to raise future generations in righteous lifestyles, it has become one of the primary targets of Satan in his attempts to control society and destroy that which God has created.

Recently, a widowed mother of five sought to adopt a pair of siblings in the state of Oregon, only to be denied the opportunity due to her Christian beliefs.

Talking to “Fox and Friends First” on Wednesday, Jessica Bates shared how she was months into the adoption process, only to have the state demand she support gender fluidity and giving children puberty blockers.

“[I] reported to my certifier because they really emphasized the sexual orientation and gender identity training, that you have to support it,” she said. “I emailed her and told her I couldn’t do that because of my faith, and then we had a phone call and, because I wouldn’t take a child for cross-sex hormone injections, I was basically told that I’m ineligible to adopt in the state of Oregon.”

While Oregon is on the forefront of leftist ideology taking over state and local governments, these types of “gender-affirming” policies are making their way across the nation including right-leaning states.

According to Oregon’s Department of Human Services it is required that any potential parents “respect, accept and support… the sexual orientation, gender identity, [and] gender expression” of children. If they do not, they will not be eligible to become adoptive parents.

“It [the state] says that it welcomes people from all cultural and religious backgrounds to adopt unless they disagree with the state’s gender ideology,” says Christina Kiefer, senior counsel for Alliance Defending Freedom. “Barring Jessica and other parents from adopting just because of their religious convictions clearly violates the First Amendment. It’s wrong, and it hurts children who need a forever home…”

This indoctrination is in place to bring up an entire generation who is so confused about their identity that they have no idea they were wonderfully created by God with divine purpose for their lives.

Oregon’s Resource and Adoptive Family (RAFT) agency “urges” parents to “use a child’s preferred pronouns, take a child to affirming events like Pride parades, or sign the child up for dangerous pharmaceutical interventions like puberty blockers and hormone shots.”

Except they do not encourage it, they require it.

If prospective parents do not kneel before the altar of gender identity and transgenderism, then they will not be permitted to participate in this aspect of society.

Nor is this type of discrimination limited to Oregon or the adoption of children in need of a family.

Christians have seen their accounts frozen and closed with no warning or reasons provided by banks such as Chase and Bank of America.

Now, Christians are being prevented from adoption because the Bible does not line up with secular, Marxist and transgender ideologies.

This is the path to controlled purchases through the acquisition of the mark of the beast.

The warnings of the coming persecution are well documented in the Bible.

Are Christians ready to endure those difficulties in America? {eoa}

3 Ways You Can Form a Special Bond With the Holy Land and Bless Israel This Passover

Passover is here, and Easter is only days away. Here in Israel, that means our historic cities, iconic markets and holy sites will be filled with activity on these sacred holidays.

Many tourists are finally making a long-awaited pilgrimage to the Holy Land. I hope Israel can now return to its special place in the world as a beacon of hospitality.

As these holidays approach, you’re likely thinking of the historical, physical places where the Israelites longed to be when God spared them during Passover, or the streets where Jesus spent His life and ministry — at least I hope you are! So as this time of year draws your hearts and your minds toward the land of the Bible, here are three practical ways you can form a special bond with the Holy Land and also bless Israel as commanded in Genesis 12:3.

1. Plan that trip to Israel you’ve been putting off for so long. Nothing compares to being here and seeing the Garden of Gethsemane, the Sea of Galilee or the Western Wall for yourself. Walking the ancient streets of Nazareth or the Via Dolorosa helps you physically engage with the origins of your faith unlike anywhere else in the world.

This is a special place. And it’s truly a miracle that Israel was restored in the 20th century and that these sacred landmarks are still preserved. I hope you will consider visiting, perhaps even this year. I’ve never met anyone who’s regretted their journey to the Holy Land. It would surely be the most impactful journey of your life.

Don’t put it off any longer. Come and see your friends here in Israel and watch the Bible come to life.

welcome back more visitors with each passing month, Israelis are once again faced with reckless violence from Hamas and others trying to disrupt our peace. In just one week last year, three separate terrorist attacks left 11 dead. Stabbings, car rammings and shootings have killed Jews and Christians alike in the month of March.

Please pray the violence will end. Pray that God would protect us from further attacks, and pray that peace will prevail. The Jewish people have increasingly been able to count on the fervent and genuine support of our Christian friends, and we greatly covet your petitions to heaven as well at this difficult time. {eoa}

Chuck Pierce: A Modern-Day Passover

When I was young, the movie that impacted me the most—whether biblically accurate in all of its splendor or not—was the spectacular The Ten Commandments. I was particularly affected by the scene in which God sends the final plague upon the house of Pharaoh and the people of Egypt. God warns the Israelites to mark their doors with the blood of a lamb so that when death passes over their homes, the firstborn child would be protected. However, the green death cloud does enter the homes of those who have no blood on their doorposts. It is a cinematic depiction of the first Passover, and from that time on, it joined Easter as the most important holidays for me.

I didn’t fully understand “the blood,” but I did know that if the mark of the blood of a lamb prevented the “Green Death Plague” from entering a house, we should have it on our door. I also knew that I was the first child and grandchild and understood that the only one to die would be the firstborn.

Each year at Easter, my maternal grandfather—a six-foot four-inch giant in my eyes—would carry a goat or lamb around his neck, which he would butcher and prepare on the grill or in the oven. Therefore, I would go to him and ask him for some blood to put on the door of my room and windows outside. My family thought my imagination was very active and hoped that I would eventually learn how to discern reality. I am still learning by the Spirit to look deep into circumstances to see reality in what I hear and see.

As I grew in understanding of the Word of God, I began to understand Passover. I came to know Jesus, the true Passover Lamb, and formed a relationship with Him. I came to know His Spirit when I was 18. I developed a daily relationship with Yeshua. But I never forgot that green death plague. I formed a watchful eye through the years concerning the evil cloud’s movement and activity.

We recall that when David gathered his men for war at Ziklag, the tribe of Issachar was described as those who understood the times and knew what to do (1 Chron. 12:32). In the same sense, this writing should help you with the Issachar anointing that is necessary to maneuver through today’s world crisis.

Passover 2020

What a shift and season we are in as I write these words: We have just gone through Passover (and Easter) in the year 2020. We have entered a new era in history. I started prophesying in September 2019 that 2020 would be a “true Passover” year.

Each year before Rosh Hashanah, the Feast of Trumpets and the Feast of Tabernacles (the great biblical feasts surrounding the Fall harvests), the ministers I co-labor with seek the Lord together to discuss what seems to be developing for the year ahead. We delve deep into the Word of God looking for patterns that relate to the times that are shifting around us. The last week of August 2019 and the first week of September were no different. Before I get into the specifics of what God spoke to me, however, I want to provide a bit of context.

Hebrew was the language that God chose to communicate His covenant to humankind. In Genesis 14:13, we find this simple descriptive phrase concerning the Father of the faith: “Abram, the Hebrew.” The word is actually Abram, Abar, or “the one who crosses over.” Inherent in each person who has aligned their faith with the Abrahamic covenant is the ability to cross over. God formed a covenant with Abram and changed his name to Abraham, the Father of Nations, and then promised that anyone who blessed and aligned with him would be blessed.

Generations later, God then gave His only begotten Son to humankind. Through the Blood of the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth, the Redeemer of humankind, we can submit our hearts to be aligned with Him. Then His Spirit enters our spirit man and not only aligns us through the Son back to the Father, but makes us part of the original Abrahamic covenant. This gives us full access to all the promises associated with that covenant. Therefore, once you are a believer, you too have in your being the ability to cross over.

Passover 2020 corresponds to 5780 in the Jewish calendar. Each year, I always look at the year ahead from a Hebraic perspective, since the covenant of my belief system is Hebraic. Hebrew is a whole language. Each word has a parent phrase with numerical value. Each word is filled with sound and with pictorial descriptive quality. The number 80 in Hebrew is represented by the letter Pey. Pey means mouth, breath or voice. This new year that we have entered is also a new decade of our decreeing the will of God in the earth. Not only have we entered a new decade but a new historical era.

When I began to study the number 80 and the era ahead, the Lord revealed to me a significant understanding of what was to come. One of the key Hebrew words that begin with the parent phrase Pey is Passover. Most of the world has an understanding of Passover in history: The Hebrew people “crossed over” out of Egypt and started their journey toward the promised land.

The word is Pesach in Hebrew. Pesach means “to leap forward and be covered until you cross over into your destiny.” Prophetically, when studying this through the Word and meeting with our staff in fall 2019, the Spirit of God revealed to me that Passover 5780/2020 would be a very important moment in history. I actually saw that we were entering a decade of Passover or crossing over. I knew we must cross over and keep crossing over until we had fully broken through into the promises for the generations to come.

When reviewing the Hebrew year 5780 from a prophetic perspective in September 2019—and in the context of Passover 2020—I heard the Lord speak to me: “This will be a year that plague-like conditions will infiltrate the earth. This Passover will be a modern-day Passover like the initial Passover where My People were redeemed from Egypt. If a remnant in a nation will celebrate My Blood and press through after Passover for the next 40 days, I will restore, remake, realign, reset and recalibrate their future! This will be a year that I begin the process of separating and dividing nations that belong to Me.”

While it’s not often, I will sometimes look at the meaning of the Gregorian calendar from a Hebraic perspective. In this case, I began to look at the numeric meaning of 2020 in the Gregorian calendar. In Hebrew, the number 20 is the letter kaf, which means “hand.” The original pictograph of the letter kaf was a drawing of a hand. When I saw this, I noticed an intersection of revelation between the two calendars. I saw the hand of God moving on the earth and the hands of people stretching in an attempt to grab His hand. Even though we have celebrated many Passovers, the Spirit of God began to show me that this would be the year that we would really need to understand it. I knew God’s remnant people in nations would be required to reach out, call on Him and grab His hand by faith to cross into the new era ahead!

His Spirit Speaks

I questioned, “Passover, plagues, Egypt, government intervention—Lord, what are you saying?”

The Lord then spoke: “Plague-like conditions will hit the earth. February, March and April will be hellish. I will be watching to see which nations pass over.”

I saw a death structure gripping nations. However, I also saw the call to celebration. I saw that the nations that would acknowledge and honor His Blood would have power to command the death grip to let go beginning at Passover. Death tolls would begin to decrease and would cease increasing.

Knowing word patterns, I immediately was reminded that the Israelites passed over but still had 40 days to press through into the promise of their future. Many problems arose during that 40-day period, postponing their promise for 40 years. I decreed last September that during the 40-day period following Passover, faith would arise in God’s remnant people from nation to nation and no postponement of the promise of God would occur. To be specific: The time period the Lord revealed to me was between April 16, 2020 and May 26, 2020. Though that window has passed as you read this, do not fear; this Passover season is not just for 2020—it is for the church arising over the next several years.

I then began to see that the real issue would be an economic rearrangement throughout the world. The 50 days from Passover to Pentecost is a time when harvest would flourish.

As Passover approaches each year, we again prepare to celebrate “the time of our redemption.” In Israel, seders are full of family and friends, joyful singing, delicious food, and most importantly, a sacred recollection of the miracles God performed for the ancestors of our faith. Four hundred years after prophesying to Abraham, God delivered his people from bondage into freedom.

Soon after receiving this prophetic word in September 2019, a new plague condition was encountered in China. Cases of COVID-19 first emerged in late 2019, when a mysterious illness was reported in Wuhan, China. The cause of the disease was soon confirmed as a new kind of coronavirus, and the infection has since spread to many countries around the world and become a pandemic. “Coronavirus” is often prefaced with the word “novel,” because that’s precisely what it is: a new strain in a family of viruses we’ve all seen before. According to the WHO, coronaviruses are a large family of viruses that range from the common cold to much more serious diseases. These diseases can infect both humans and animals. The strain that began spreading in Wuhan, the capital of China’s Hubei province, is related to two other coronaviruses that have caused major outbreaks in recent years: severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) and Middle East respiratory syndrome (MERS).

There have been reports of people transmitting the virus before they show symptoms, but most experts think this is probably not a major driver of new infections. What is concerning, however, is that symptoms can be mild, and the disease can clearly spread before people realize they’re sick.

Cry to the Lord

The Egyptians were frightened by the growth of Israel (Ex. 1:8-12). The Jews were becoming too numerous, too strong. The Egyptians felt like they could easily be overtaken. However, this was their labor force, and the Jews were too useful to be permitted to leave the country. It was the perfect climate for the birth of anti-Semitism.

Pharaoh’s view was that the Jews were too dangerous to keep, and they were too important to lose. When this type of tension—real or perceived—has occurred in nations throughout history, the ruling leaders typically plot to subjugate or otherwise enslave the group gaining power. Later, the Romans invaded Judea in the first century BC, and made it one of their provinces in A.D. 6.

Since time immemorial, the ruling classes of nations have subjugated powerful minority groups. The most heinous example of anti-Semitism, of course, was in Germany starting in the 1930s. As many of Germany’s Jews thrived economically, they threatened the German power structure being erected by Hitler. The eventual eruption of hate manifested itself in the Holocaust and the death of more than 6 million Jews.

Nations have to weigh the benefits of using a minority group’s talents up and against the fear that the very same group’s gifts and talents will threaten their nationalism. In the Jews’ case, in this initial time of approaching Passover, Pharaoh’s treacherous solution was to deceive the Jews into showing their patriotism by building cities to safeguard the country’s wealth. This plan was similar to what had happened during the seven years of drought when Joseph erected administrative cities to take care of the entire region. After the drought, recovery would come quickly, and the people of Egypt would prosper again. Joseph had God’s heart and was being used for all people.

Pharaoh used this pattern, but with a greed motivation, and had Egypt develop a labor force to symbolize a nationalistic devotion of all toward Egypt. Once Jewish volunteers were mobilized, the plan reversed from the days of Joseph and enslavement of the minority, but prosperous Jews began to emerge.

Pharaoh told his people that the Jews’ power and wealth were from Egypt. “They flourished by taking advantage of our hospitality during and after famine, so now we have every right to take back what’s ours!” (see Ex. 1). This became not only a plan of captivity for the Jews, but an overall economic strategy of control for Egypt. Pharaoh knew the Jews were too important to the economy to be permitted to emigrate.

The oppressed Jewish population continued to grow. Egypt grew angrier and angrier, and therefore, devised a plan of population control. The Egyptians moved from jealousy, greed, anger, fear, and control to hatred. The plan of labor now shifted to destruction and annihilation. In response, God sent plagues, a pillar of cloud and fire, and walls of water. God could have moved them from Egypt toward their destiny quietly, but drama was necessary.

God was determined that Egypt would know that “I am the Lord” (Ex. 7:5, 10:2, 14:18). Did the parties involved recognize God? The end seemed inevitable with Egypt closing in behind the fleeing Hebrews, and the sea barring any way forward. God had to demonstrate his faithfulness as the Red Sea parted, the people crossed, the Egyptian pursuers were engulfed, and their pursuits terminated.

They got the message—and it was delivered in highly dramatic fashion: “Thus the Lord saved Israel that day from the hand of the Egyptians, and Israel saw the Egyptians dead upon the seashore. When Israel saw the great power which the Lord used upon the Egyptians, the people feared the Lord, and they believed in the Lord and in His servant Moses” (Ex. 14:30-31).

As we explore the significance of Passover for this current time—a time filled with plagues, wars and rumors of wars—we also celebrate the past and future redemption during the Passover season. We have moved beyond knowledge into faith—beyond “belief in God” to “belief that God…”. We can wholeheartedly trust in God and his servant Yeshua to accomplish all that He has promised.

Our hope is more than a set of beliefs. Our Seder is more than an exercise of the mind. Rather, it is a declaration of the heart. We base our confidence upon God’s unshakeable promises, His demonstrated faithfulness and His guarantee of redemption for all who trust in the one who is coming. As the Master said, “Let not your heart be troubled. You believe in God. Believe also in Me” (John 14:1).

May our Passover tables—as well as the redemption of Passover written on the tablets of our hearts—be a source of many coming to know and trust in God and his servant Yeshua.

Passover was the remedy for freedom in biblical times. Is Passover significant today? From the first Passover until today, God meant this to be an ordinance and a celebration from year to year. And especially now, with God’s prophetic word regarding a time to “pass over,” we take the posture of celebration between the chronos of Passover on our calendars to the kairos season we are in as a church.

Trial for Demonically Driven ‘Cult Mom’ Begins

As the trial to determine the fate of two religious zealots who are charged with the murder of three people begins in Idaho, many have already cast their lot on the guilt or innocence of the accused.

Lori Vallow and her husband, Chad Daybell, are accused of killing her children, 7-year-old J.J. Vallow and 17-year-old Tylee Ryan, and Daybell’s ex-wife, Tammy, between September and October 2019.

The attorneys have begun the process of selecting the 18 potential jurors, while hundreds have gathered at the courthouse to catch a glimpse of the now infamous couple.

The case has become such a cultural phenomenon that it spawned a true crime docuseries on Netflix titled “Sins of Our Mother.”

Vallow Murder

While many across the world have tuned in, and labeled Vallow and Daybell guilty, the dark spiritual aspect is being overlooked in the case and within society itself.

Vallow was seduced by Daybell’s apocalyptic writings and his belief system that was a radical offshoot of Mormonism.

As the two delved deeper into demonically influenced beliefs, all of which are recorded both visually and audibly, Vallow’s hold on reality began to crumble as her mind was warped by the demonic entities at work in the spiritual realm.

This is evidenced in her erratic, and potentially murderous, actions after meeting Daybell.

Vallow slowly turned into a habitual liar when it came to answering questions about her children’s whereabouts, giving different answers to police, her friends and family.

After young J.J., who was withdrawn from school to be homeschooled by Vallow, and Tylee, had not been seen for several weeks, police performed a wellness check while family friends confronted Vallow about the whereabouts of the children.

Vallow and Daybell would end up traveling to Hawaii as the police searched for her children.

Tragically, the bodies of the children were found buried in Chad Daybell’s yard.

Vallow has pleaded not guilty to charges of murder, conspiracy and grand theft in the deaths of Joshua and Tylee.

Meanwhile, Daybell, who also pleaded not guilty, is set to have a separate trial that has not yet been scheduled.

The dark belief that Vallow held, that people would become zombie-like entities and needed to have their souls released from their physical form, is one of the leading theories as to why she allegedly murdered her two children.

As reported by CBS News, “The group would spend time praying to get rid of the zombies and believed, if they were successful, the possessed person would physically die, freeing their trapped soul from ‘limbo.'”

Filling her mind with demonic influence and lies, Vallow believed that she had been “assigned to carry out the work of the 144,000 at Christ’s Second Coming…” and that she was a “goddess” with supernatural powers.

These delusions and lies formulated from one place, and that is from Satan and his minions.

There are many who get caught up in the “true crime” whimsy that has made the genre one of the most watched television categories and some of the most listened to podcasts on earth.

But there is danger behind these crimes, especially in Vallow’s case.

Vallow allowed herself, after living what many would call a very normal life, to be spiritually manipulated to the point that ideas most would consider evil and insane seemed a necessity.

Christians must have wisdom and discernment that comes from the Word of God to recognize this type of behavior and call out the enemy when they see it. {eoa}
