Jonathan Cahn has released an astounding new book featuring the epic mysteries surrounding Israel, the end times and the dark resurrection.

“The Temple Mount is the ground zero of prophecy,” Cahn says. “It’s the center of the center. It’s all going to be centered there. The temple is going to be built there, the Antichrist is going to go there and desecrate it, that’s the abomination on the Temple Mount. The kingdom is going to be there. Messiah’s going to reign.”

Since the enemy will stop at nothing to try to keep God’s plans and purposes from prevailing, the future of the Temple Mount is set in Satan’s sight.

“He’d seek to do everything he could to stop God’s purposes from happening on that Mount,” Cahn explains. “He would try to keep Jewish people off that Mount. He would try to keep any Jewish person ever from praying on that mount. That’s the mount of prayer. That’s the Temple Mount. And that’s exactly what’s happened. He basically has the mountain, and Jewish people are not allowed to go on that mountain, and not only not build a temple or a synagogue, but they cannot even pray on that mountain.”

Cahn says if anything happens to upset this plan of the enemy, of the dragon, then he would bring complete chaos and disaster.

“People don’t realize it. This is the secret story before October 7, something that happened on the mountain. And that is that there was a rumor that Jewish people are going to go up there and celebrate Passover,” Cahn says. “It was a disaster. It was on Passover on a Hebrew holy day. Well, after that happened, Hamas issued a statement. They said basically in effect ‘we are going to have revenge on you.’ The revenge was October 7. October 7 was all about the Temple Mount. See, that’s the center of prophecy, that’s the center of Revelation.”

As we see biblical prophecy come to pass right in front of us, we must seek the Lord in prayer, fasting and through the reading of His Word.

After the surprise departure of Chris Reed from MorningStar Ministries last week, MorningStar’s founder, Rick Joyner, spoke to the congregation on Sunday, Sept. 1 about Reed’s resignation.

While Joyner says he was “shocked” but not “surprised,” he says it is the way that Chris left suddenly which he found most concerning.

“I did not feel that there was a shepherd’s heart revealed,” Joyner says. “A shepherd lays down their life for the sheep and certainly has regard for them. I didn’t feel like there was regard for me, for our board, any of this stuff that we had entrusted a lot to him. And I don’t think to just quit like that is what we ever need to do with anyone, with no notice.”

Joyner discussed the lawsuit which had been filed against MorningStar regarding young men in a youth group from MorningStar who claim to have been sexually abused by a former volunteer at MorningStar, Erikson Lee. The suit against MorningStar read:

“At times from 2019-2022, Erikson Lee provided alcohol, vapes and pornography to children as young as thirteen (13) years old, including Plaintiff John Doe #1, and eventually sexually exploited and abused multiple minor male children in a youth program at MorningStar, including Plaintiff John Doe #1.”

Joyner says that some of the claims within the suit as “wildly untrue,” but that it is true how one of the volunteers used their ministry position to commit awful actions against minors from MorningStar.

“We don’t ever want this to ever happen again to anyone,” Joyner says. “If we go to court, we’re not going to be against these victims. We’re not going to be on one ‘re on the same side. We want the truth.”

Joyner then turned his focus toward Reed and the reported relationship he had with a MorningStar Ministry student. He says that MorningStar looked into the claims from both Reed and the woman to figure out how to best deal with the situation.

“They said there had been no physical contact, just texts and things like this. And Chris had gone to his wife, Missy, with us, showed her his phone, showed her the texts,” says Joyner.

“He was put in a place of parole, kind of, went on a process of restoration where he met with Tom, I think once a week,” he continues. “He was being prepared to take over the leadership of the was put on hold during this process, and after a little time we made him acting president, acting CEO because that was part of the process. And I honestly wanted to see how he [was] going to behave when he gets the authority.”

Joyner then discussed how many pastors today consider ministry a profession instead of a calling to be a shepherd over God’s flock.

“I honestly believe there are very few shepherds with a shepherd’s heart that are really seeking to protect God’s people as He said they would, which is lay down their life if they have to for the people,” Joyner explains.

In the MorningStar Ministries Facebook livestream of the Sunday service, Joyner says that the board made the best decision they could at the time with the evidence they had been presented.

“This lady affirmed to us as strongly as I could imagine, there was nothing physical in this relationship. She and Chris both affirmed that,” Joyner continues. “The [woman’s] mother affirmed had to take their word that they cut it off, drawn a line, nothing physical had happened. Well, now I can say with a lot of confidence that’s not true. Neither one of them were telling us the truth.”

Joyner states that anything discovered further about the situation will be brought to light, not to be covered up. He also says that if Chris wanted to come back to the MorningStar family, he would be welcomed with open arms.

“If Chris asked to come back here, I would say, ‘Absolutely; we welcome you back. But you’re not going to be in leadership. I mean, you’ve disqualified yourself from that. You can qualify yourself with your good behavior and really submitting to the process and where we really know you’re telling us the truth about everything.’ You know, anybody we will take back and work with and be happy to.”

In a recent interview with Charisma Media, Pastor Billy Crone delved into the alarming rise of global movements that he believes are paving the way for the end times as described in the book of Revelation. Crone specifically highlights the World Economic Forum and its founder, Klaus Schwab, as key players in what has become known as the “Great Reset,” a global agenda that Crone argues aligns with biblical prophecy.

Crone explains that his research into recent world events, beginning with the global reaction to the pandemic and resulting crises in 2020, led him to Schwab and the WEF.

“This can’t be by chance,” Crone says. He linked Schwab’s vision, which aims to reshape global governance and economics by 2030, to a broader, darker agenda: “What I discovered was Klaus Schwab is basically taking the Third Reich agenda that Hitler wanted to bring to the world… and now Klaus has picked up the baton, and he’s bringing it to the whole planet.”

Crone connects this modern-day Great Reset to the biblical prophecy of the Antichrist’s kingdom in Revelation 13, which foretells a one-world government and a cashless society controlled by a single leader.

“These guys, in a nutshell, are basically building the foundation for what the Bible calls the Antichrist kingdom,” Crone states, referencing Revelation 13:16-17: “He causes all, both small and great, both rich and poor, both free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their forehead, so that no one may buy or sell, except he who has the mark…”

Crone further argues that the WEF’s agenda extends beyond economic control to altering humanity itself, dubbing it the “human reset.” He links this to a repeat of the “days of Noah,” as described in Matthew 24:37: “As the days of Noah were, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.” Crone points out that just as wickedness and genetic corruption marked Noah’s time, today’s global elites seek to redefine humanity through technology and genetic manipulation, which he refers to as “Human 2.0.”

Drawing shocking parallels between Schwab’s plans and biblical warnings, Crone urges believers to recognize these developments as signs of the nearing end times and to stay vigilant. “This is not a conspiracy theory. This is what the other half of the Great Reset is,” Crone cautions. According to him, the agenda set by the WEF and its allies is not just a global power grab but a direct fulfillment of prophecies leading to the rise of the Antichrist.

In August of 2005, on Tisha B’Av, my wife, Christie, and I were on the Israeli border of Gaza and Gush Katif (a bloc of 17 settlements in the southern Gaza Strip). We were ministering to families who were being forcefully removed from their homes by the Israel Defense Forces. This removal was the result of a disengagement plan initiated by then-Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon under tremendous pressure from the Bush administration, calling for a withdrawal of the IDF and dismantling of Israeli settlements in Gaza. As a result, we watched over 8,000 Israelis dragged from their homes in a forced eviction—the most painful thing we observed in Israel and remains the single most traumatic experience for us, simply as observers—until our visit shortly after Oct. 7, 2023.

Following this withdrawal in August of 2005, Hamas took over the Gaza Strip in 2007, ultimately leading to the Swords of Iron War. This is the history of the conflict in the most recent and basic terms—but why should it matter to you as a Christian?

Tammuz 17 was when the 12 spies departed to spy out the promised land. All 12 men went on the same journey and saw the same thing with their physical eyes, but their interpretations and understandings were completely different. Ten men saw giants who devoured one another, ignoring the good of the land that flowed with milk and honey, disregarding the gift of Hashem (“the name” in Hebrew, a title used for God). Two men saw the abundant harvest, recognized the richness of the opportunity and trusted God was “well able” to lead them to victory.

A Seer Has Great Power Over What He Sees

According to Jewish scholars, when the spies saw “a land that devours its inhabitants,” they saw the occupants turning on each other, creating a distraction and an opportunity for the land to be taken (Mark 3:25). Instead of seeing this diversion as a tool in God’s hand, 10 spies sinned with their sight and brought back a bad report of fear. Ultimately, this report was linked to a heart condition of lack of trust in God.

The Hebrew month of Tammuz represents sight. It is followed by the month of Av, representing hearing. When the children of Israel heard the bad report, they sinned by receiving and accepting it. Again, this sin was ultimately rooted in a heart condition and a wrong belief system. What you see, hear and believe is filtered through the state of your heart.

The Danger of a Wrong Belief System and Unknown Identity

“And it will be on that day that I will set Jerusalem as a weighty stone to all the peoples. All who carry it will surely gash themselves, and all the nations of the land will be gathered against it” (Zech. 12:3).

Antisemitism takes root in hearts that harbor wrong belief systems and struggle with their own identity. According to CNN: “Antisemitism has ‘skyrocketed’ across the United States in the three months after the October 7 Hamas attacks on Israel … the ADL tracked a total of 3,283 antisemitic incidents between October 7 and January 7, the group said. This marks a 361% increase in reported anti-Semitic incidents.”

As Americans, we have witnessed an unprecedented rise in Left-leaning college campuses nationwide, mimicking the radical activism of the 1960s. These mobs are calling for the annihilation of Israel while attacking Jewish students and faculty. The prime minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, said: “This is reminiscent of what happened in German universities in the 1930s. It’s unconscionable. It has to be stopped.”

Watchmen on the Wall

“I have set watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem, who shall never hold their peace day nor night. You who remind the Lord, do not keep silent” (Isa. 62:6). We must ask ourselves what the rise in antisemitism means for believers. I fear the enemy will use these sentiments to separate churches from the blessing of being rooted in praying for and blessing the nation of Israel.

If churches align themselves with an antisemitic belief structure in the name of humanitarianism or being politically correct, they will release the opposite of the blessings stated here. Therefore, we must choose to align our beliefs according to the Word and not according to our feelings or what is popular. There is no room in the body of Christ for replacement theology. Supercesessionism, or replacement theology, is the belief that the church has fully replaced Israel and the nation is no longer the recipient of God’s promises according to Scripture.

“For the sake of Zion I will not keep silent, and for the sake of Jerusalem I will not rest until her righteousness goes forth as brightness and her salvation as a lamp that burns” (Isa. 62:1).

Israel’s 76th Year

The 76th year of the modern state of Israel may be one of its more challenging years as it continues defeating Hamas, searching for and rescuing 120 hostages and preparing for possible war with Hezbollah in Lebanon.

We must turn our eyes toward Psalm 76:1-3: “In Judah God is known; in Israel His name is great. In Salem is His abode, and His dwelling place in Zion. There He broke the fiery arrows of the bow, the shield, the sword, and the weapons of war. Selah.” Let’s pray for Israel amid a challenging 76th year and pray for the land’s continued safety and the safety of innocent people, as a war with Hezbollah in Lebanon could result in high casualties on both sides.

Same Enemy. Same God.

Since 1991, we’ve visited Israel more than 40 times. During our visit after Oct. 7, 2023, we witnessed some of the most traumatic horrors and crimes against humanity we have ever seen. We visited the kibbutz, where innocent pioneering families were massacred. We visited the army bases in the south that our ministry has supported for years. We have seen the power of hate and antisemitism firsthand.

The enemy’s evil desires toward God’s chosen people met us face to face. Most concerning is the disconnect between our understanding as the body of Christ that the same enemy who did this to Israel is the same enemy that seeks to steal, kill and devour us.

It is the same enemy.

But it is also the same God.

The Chinese General Sun Tzu said: “Know thy enemy and know yourself.” The body of Christ needs to remain awake and aware of the truth of the enemy we are facing.

Miraculous Intervention

Even amid so much loss, we also heard testimonies of families who saw miraculous intervention: lives spared, families saved, soldiers protected and people who saw the hand of God move on their behalf. The day we spent at Shiva Hospital in Tel Aviv was a day of testimony upon testimony of God’s miraculous power. These IDF soldiers praised the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and expressed gratitude to Christians who pray for Israel and the IDF around the globe. They recognized the miraculous intervention.

Heart Posture of Prayer and Repentance

What can we do? Pray for:

— Israel.

— The body of Christ.

— The nations we call home.

Most importantly, I encourage you to embrace a heart posture of repentance and pray for God’s mercy and the peace of Jerusalem: “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: ‘May they prosper who love you! Peace be within your walls and security within your towers!’ For my brothers and companions’ sake, I will now say, ‘Peace be within you.’ Because of the house of the Lord our God, I will seek your good” (Ps. 122:6-9).

May we take this summer season, the month of Tammuz and Av, to repent and turn our hearts back to the Father, embracing our true identity and unlocking covenant promises.

Chris Reed released a statement in a newly uploaded video to YouTube about his resignation with MorningStar Ministries.

10 Factors in Pulpit Pollution

I was recently with a friend (whom I will leave nameless) who said the reason his city is in a mess is that “the pulpits are polluted!” I immediately began to think and pray about the implications and reasons for such a strong statement. Upon reflection, I found his statement to be true based on conversations I have had with numerous leaders across the globe.

The following are 10 reasons we are experiencing pollution in some pulpits today:

1. The pastor has an unholy union with politicians. In Scripture, we have numerous examples of how religious leaders compromised their faith and obedience to God for the sake of political advantage and access. In Amos 7:12-13, Amaziah, the priest, commanded the prophet Amos to stop prophesying at Bethel because it was the king’s sanctuary and a temple of the kingdom. In 1 Kings 22, we see how all the prophets except Micaiah only prophesied what King Ahab wanted to hear. Also, all the chief priests conspired to put Jesus to death when they said they had no king but Caesar, thereby aligning themselves with the Roman emperor over the Lord of the universe (John 19:15).

Why are there suddenly so many stories about deadly diseases in the news?  We are just a little over two months away from November, and so this is a perfect time to deeply alarm the general public about a coming health crisis, right?  But this time around it isn’t just one major disease that is making news. 

As you will see below, people are freaking out about three different very frightening diseases.  Of course when people are afraid that they might die from some extremely deadly outbreak, they are far more likely to accept measures that they would usually not even consider during normal times.

In the Northeast, there is a tremendous amount of concern about the Eastern Equine Encephalitis virus right now.  People in Massachusetts have been instructed to “limit their time outdoors” due to a confirmed case in that state, and now confirmed cases have appeared in Vermont and New Hampshire…

Last week, it was reported that an 80-year-old man in Massachusetts tested positive for the rare virus, sparking public health concerns.

Officials then discovered the disease in mosquitoes across the state and warned residents to limit their time outdoors.

The virus then started appearing in neighboring states, with cases popping up in Vermont and New Hampshire, where the unidentified victim was pronounced dead.

It is being reported that this virus “has also been found in horses in eight New York counties”.

So this virus is already in at least four different states, and that is not good news at all, because it has a very high death rate in humans…

Approximately 30% of those infected with the virus die, and those who survive, are often left with neurologic problems. There are no vaccines or medicines to treat or prevent the disease.

Usually, cases of Eastern Equine Encephalitis are quite rare.

But if hundreds of people start dying after catching this virus in the months ahead, we are going to see extreme panic.

Due to fears of Eastern Equine Encephalitis and an outbreak of West Nile virus, New York City is preparing “to spray pesticides to help prevent the spread of mosquitoes”…

New York City is planning to spray pesticides to help prevent the spread of mosquitoes, and potential diseases.

The announcement comes days after Dr. Anthony Fauci, former National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases Director and the government’s top infectious disease official during the pandemic, was hospitalized with West Nile virus.

Dr Fauci, 83, spent around a week in the hospital after developing fever, chills, and severe fatigue. He believes he contracted West Nile in the backyard of his Washington DC home, and is expected to make a full recovery, CBS News’ chief medical correspondent Dr. Jonathan LaPook tweeted on Saturday.

So now the entire Big Apple is going to be doused with dangerous chemicals in a desperate attempt to kill the mosquitoes that are carrying these diseases.

If you live in New York City, now may be a good time to take a vacation.

Meanwhile, scientists are warning that the new Monkeypox strain is mutating faster than they anticipated…

Scientists studying the new mpox strain that has spread out of Democratic Republic of Congo say the virus is changing faster than expected, and often in areas where experts lack the funding and equipment to properly track it.

That means there are numerous unknowns about the virus itself, its severity and how it is transmitting, complicating the response, half a dozen scientists in Africa, Europe and the United States told Reuters.

So far they have had no luck fighting the outbreak that is absolutely ravaging the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Sadly, the number of cases and the total death toll both continue to rise…

Congo has had more than 18,000 suspected mpox cases and 615 deaths this year, according to the World Health Organization (WHO), which declared an mpox health emergency this month after a new variant called clade Ib emerged.

There have now been confirmed cases in several neighboring countries, and travelers have brought it to Europe and Asia.

In 2022, a strain of Monkeypox that was being spread by sexual contact rapidly spread all over the globe.

Apparently this new strain often spreads without any sexual contact at all, and we are being told that children are being infected in very large numbers…

Children in the east of the Democratic Republic of Congo are worst-affected by the current outbreak of mpox, which has been declared a public health emergency of international concern by the World Health Organization. The country accounts for nearly all of this year’s recorded cases and more than 450 deaths.

“It began like a small, inflamed spot. The mother squeezed it and watery discharge came out. Then another developed, and after a short period, they were all over the body,” says Alain Matabaro, describing how mpox developed in his six-year-old son Amani.

At this point, the experts do not fully understand why so many children are being infected.

One theory that is being proposed is that it is because children have “less developed immune systems”…

Some 75% of the cases being seen by medics there are under the age of 10, according to Dr Pierre-Olivier Ngadjole who works for the charity Medair.

Young people seem to be particularly badly affected by the mpox outbreak because of their less developed immune systems.

If this new strain of monkeypox starts infecting children all over the western world, there will be widespread panic and we will likely see very harsh lockdowns.

Speaking of that, it is being reported that a school in Alabama and a school in Tennessee were just temporarily shut down because too many kids were catching COVID…

Schools in two states experiencing a rise in Covid cases announced they were closing facilities and switching to remote learning.

Alabama and Tennessee announced the closure of two schools — affecting more than a thousand children — just days into the new academic year, with officials saying the virus had forced them to shut and carry out a ‘deep clean.’

At one of the schools, children had to abandon their desks and revert to remote learning for two days — a move reminiscent of the early days of Covid.

Why is this happening?

I thought that we agreed that we weren’t going to do this anymore.

Right now there are lots of news stories about how COVID is making a major comeback, but most Americans are not buying it.

By now, just about everyone understands that it has an extremely low death rate.

However, it is just a matter of time before a horrifying worldwide pandemic that has a very high death rate comes along.

When that day arrives, the panic that we have seen during the past several years will pale in comparison to what we will witness.

As of this writing, the post has been viewed more than 202,000 times on X (which is a lot for one of my posts there). It has also received more than 880 comments, a number of them taking issue with the post or feeling the need to clarify it. What is so controversial about what I wrote?

Jesus, along with John the Immerser (aka John the Baptist), was called “rabbi” in the New Testament, while the concept of “reverend” did not come into use until many centuries later (perhaps beginning in the 15th century).

As for Jesus being a Jew, not a Christian, again, that is a simple matter of historical fact and common-sense logic. After all, the New Testament teaches that Jesus was both born and died King of the Jews, whereas the word “Christian” was only coined more than a decade after the Lord’s death and Resurrection.

It is the time of year when the book of Deuteronomy is read in synagogues around the world. Deuteronomy is my favorite book of the Torah, but not because of the commandments found within its pages. Not because of the events it shares. Not because it shares the end of Moses’ leadership of Israel and the start of Joshua’s. Not because of all of the supernatural encounters and events that take place. 

I love Deuteronomy because, to me, it is the most New Testament book in the Old Testament. The very fact that we have the book of Deuteronomy is a proclamation of G-D’s amazing grace, mercy and love. From the opening sentence to the closing sentence, the book of Deuteronomy expresses G-D’s forgiveness and renewal. In a real way, the book of Deuteronomy is a documentation of Israel being born again. 

Think about it this way: In the books of Exodus, Leviticus and Numbers, the people of Israel entered a covenant with G-D when they stood around Mount Sinai and with one voice said, “All that you say we will do.” Then they traveled from Sinai to the border of Canaan, committing various acts of rebellion along the way, until they reached the edge of the promised land only to have the majority reject the fullness of their promise.

Instead of believing in what G-D promised, they believed what they were told by their leaders, even though everything in the land of promise was exactly as G-D’s Word said it would be. Yet, they chose to reject what G-D said and believe what their leaders believed. I say the majority rejected the fullness of G-D’s covenant promises; however, there was a minority, a remnant, who chose to believe G-D’s Word over what their leaders proclaimed. 

Israel was fine with being the people of the G-D of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. They were happy to have the tabernacle and the sacrificial system. They were good with all of the commandments as long as they were in the wilderness. It wasn’t until they had to cross the border into Israel and fully receive the fullness of G-D’s promise that they believed the words of men over the words of G-D. It is at this point in Israel’s history that we enter the book of Deuteronomy. 

If we think about the Torah this way, we find that the Gospels are very much like Genesis-Numbers. They tell the story of creation, of the birth of Israel, of Israel’s bondage (both physically and spiritually) and of their promised redemption. Deuteronomy is very much like the book of Acts. 

Think about it: In the book of Numbers, the majority of the people of Israel rejected the fullness of their promised redemption (the promised land) when they listened to their leaders, rather than G-D. In the Gospels, we find Israel once again rejecting their promised redemption, Yeshua. When they choose to listen to their leaders, rather than G-D. In the book of Numbers, the majority of the leaders rejected G-D’s Word in favor of their own understanding, even though everything they saw and experienced was exactly as promised by G-D’s Word.

In the Gospels, we also see a majority rejecting G-D’s promise, even though everything they saw and experienced was exactly as promised by G-D’s Word. Yet, the Gospels also show the minority accepted G-D’s word and rejected the words of the majority. 

Then we get to the book of Deuteronomy, where we see G-D’s grace and forgiveness as He renews His covenant with Israel, forgiving their rejection and restoring their inheritance. Just as in the book of Acts, we see G-D’s grace and forgiveness as He forgives Israel for their rejection and restores their inheritance. 

The book of Deuteronomy was G-D giving Israel a second opportunity to receive the full promise of His redemptive work, just as Acts shows G-D giving Israel a second opportunity to receive the full promise of His redemptive work. 

If you take the time to read Deuteronomy through the lens of grace, forgiveness, restoration and complete redemption, you will also agree that Deuteronomy is the most New Testament book in the Old Testament.

“We have a transportation program not only in or near term on a bus line, but we worked with nonprofits to get our family members their first car,” said Meyer. “We have housing. We have our own Nehemiah properties where we charge a quarter of the market rate and furnish it.”

The company’s holistic approach, which includes spiritual wellness and continuing education, has led to a thriving workforce.
