Students at Texas A&M Corpus Christi are rejoicing at the joy and salvation being found on campus.

A student event hosted by New Life Church and the New Life Young Adults ministry saw “nearly 1,500 students” attend and 62 baptisms take place, according to New Life pastors Mike and Bonnie Fehlauer’s Facebook post.

Sharing details about the event and how God was moving among the college students to The Christian Post, New Life Young Adults Pastor Tarik Whitmore detailed how his message to those gathered was focused on Isaiah 6, which details the “conviction, cleansing, and commissioning that follows a genuine encounter with God.”

“This was followed by testimonies from students and former students—sharing how God saved them, set them free, healed them physically, and is now using them to change the lives of others,” Whitmore shared to TCP.

“As the altar was opened, there was an invitation given to profess faith in Jesus through water baptism, receive prayer for healing and receive prayer for the baptism of the Holy Spirit,” he continued.

Whitmore described the convicting power of the Holy Spirit sweeping through the attendees, leading many to be baptized.

“The night continued with students and young adults sharing testimonies in real-time of salvation, healing, deliverance and being filled with the Spirit,” Whitmore says.

This magnificent surrendering to God by America’s young people is a continuation of the movement that has been taking place in greater numbers ever since the Asbury Awakening.

Just a week before the event held at Texas A&M took place, members of The Ohio State football team held a similar event the group had been praying over for a long time.

As previously reported by Charisma News on the event at Ohio State, “The number of those in attendance varies, with some reports claiming 800-1,000 people, and others saying some 2,000 attended the spiritual awakening. No matter how many truly showed up, with eyewitness accounts, images and videos showing a substantial crowd, lives were transformed as prayer, testimonies, worship and baptisms invited the presence of God into their midst.

“We were praying for years and years for an event like this, and we were praying with expectation—we serve a miracle-working God,” Ohio State wide receiver Emeka Egbuka says. “So we definitely had an expectation when it came out, but God did increasingly and abundantly more than what we thought. So, we’re just so blessed and thankful.”

It is time for America to wake up from its slumber.

In a recent prophetic warning video, Perry Stone gave a wake-up call to the church about what could be coming our way if we don’t turn toward the truth of God’s Word.

From his reading in Jeremiah, Stone discusses the concept of false security that priests and elders had back then, believing nothing bad could ever happen to them. This sense of false security is something Stone says he sees in the American church today.

“There is a false security syndrome about America,” Stone says. “People say, ‘God has to have America’s money to support the gospel.’ Now, there was a day that was true. There was a day that the United States was the number one supporter of the have these blinders on that we think America is the only one sending the missionaries. America is the only one printing the Bibles. It used to be that way. It is not that way now. So, when you say that God needs America’s money, with technology now people are able to get the gospel out with much less income than they used to and teach people in their language.”

Stone says the committed underground churches around the world are preaching the gospel, sticking to the Word of God and following Jesus with their whole hearts. Their dedication to the Lord is much more serious than the faith of most Americans.

“I have missionaries, five of them, that I support that tell me churches have cut off their mission support in America,” Stone says. “So once again, for us to say that God is just going to honor us no matter what we do no matter how we treat the poor and the needy, no matter how we treat churches, how we treat other ‘s a false sense if we say ‘America’s going to be okay.'”

Stone makes it clear that we cannot fall back on the good deeds of the past thinking that will secure our future. We cannot fall away from God and still claim to know Him.

“Be careful of false security. I’ve heard people say God is never going to judge America until the tribulation because there’s too many Christians in America,” Stone says. “But I’ve seen selective judgment happen, so there is going to be chastisements and selective judgment coming from the Lord. And if we start ignoring the Scripture and we continue to legalize are in very serious, precarious trouble.”

We cannot stay complacent in our walk with the Lord and believe that God will continue to bless us the deeper we get into sin. Instead, we must humble ourselves and turn away from the wickedness of the world and seek God’s face with true humility.

About 50 officials from Jombang Regency, Indonesia, on Aug. 18 dragged a pastor from his worship site and sealed the shop where his church met, sources said.

The sealing of the worship site was part of a Jombang government effort to recover dozens of shops the government says it owns at a business compound in the Weru area of Mojongapit village, East Java Province.

Pastor Herri Soesanto described the government seizure of the two-story shop-house used by his Good God Church (Gereja Gembala Baik, or GAB) in the Simpang Tiga Shopping Compound, about 80 kilometers (50 miles) west of Surabaya, as “violent and anarchic.”

“I was harassed and dragged by a mob that I estimated was about 50 people,” Pastor Herri said in a podcast interview with Gus Aan Anshori, son of a leading Muslim cleric. “What was disappointing was those people who closed my church were my friends.”

Displaying the nearly healed bruises on his hands from the mob pulling him, Pastor Herri said, “This is the anarchic act that embarrasses the city of Jombang. The city of Jombang is wise. But the regent’s actions are violent and anarchic.”

The church closure took place under acting Jombang Regent Teguh Narutomo, he said.

“I never imagined the violence that government officials made, causing upset among the congregation,” said Pastor Herri, adding that he was threatened with jail.

Officers also closed dozens of shops in the business compound on claims that the land belonged to the city government.

Responding to Gus Aan Anshori’s question about the status of the shop-house, Pastor Herri said that when he and other shop-house owners purchased their sites, the real estate company did not inform them that it was working with the Jombang local government to develop the business compound.

“The developer did not tell us about that at all,” he said, adding that they had a 2016 building-use rights certificate that they continued using even though it expired in 2016, as it is common in Indonesia to postpone legalities as long as payments are made.

The church tried to extend the validity period of the building-use rights certificate, but officials denied it, instead demanding that they pay rent and back-rent, he said.

“In 2022, the local government asked us buyers to pay the rent from 2016 to 2021, with a payment of 19,105,000 rupiah [$1,228 USD] per year,” he said.

Thus, although the church had bought the property and paid land and building taxes without the developer telling them about the joint plans with the government to develop it, the developers and officials demanded they pay rent, he said.

The church carried out worship services on the front porch of the sealed-off site on Aug. 18 and Aug. 25, where congregation member Anania Budi Yanuari Hidayat spoke to media outlet KBR.

“Of course, as believers we feel hurt, shocked, feel like stepchildren, feel like our wealth is worthless in their eyes,” said Anania told KBR on Aug. 25, adding that there are hopes the Jombang local government will reconsider and let the congregation hold activities at the site.

Pastor Herri said there has been no solution to the problem.

“What is the government’s attitude towards religious tolerance if the church is closed now?” he said. “I ask for the wisdom of the Jombang Regency government. What will happen to our congregation?”

Jombang officials said the sealing of the church was necessary to secure local government land.

“What is clear is that we secured the place,” a high-ranking Jombang official identified only as Syaiful told KBR on Aug. 26. “We secured the shop-house assets. If it is used as a place of worship, then it is automatically beyond our power. That is a shop-house for business. We consider it as a shop-house. We did not consider it the place of worship.”

Saying the seizure was legal, Syaiful said those who object can take legal action. Even so, the Jombang Regency government promised to find a solution for the congregation, according to KBR.

Ilham Rohim, an official at the Jombang Ministry of Religious Affairs Office, added that the church has never applied for a license to use the site for worship, according to .

The Anti-Discrimination Islamic Network (JIAD) coordinator asked the local government to help provide the congregation a place of worship. The Coordinator of the East Java JIAD, Aan Anshori, said that officials could provide a place for worship until the congregation finds a permanent location.

Muslims account for 83.3% of Indonesia’s population, while % identify as Christian, with the evangelical population estimated at %, according to the Joshua Project.

Indonesia ranked #42 on Christian support organization Open Doors’ 2024 World Watch List of the 50 countries where it is most difficult to be a Christian. Indonesian society has adopted a more conservative Islamic character, and churches involved in evangelistic outreach are at risk of being targeted by Islamic extremist groups, according to the WWL report.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. spoke out about God and politics to Daystar’s Joni Lamb and Doug Weiss in a recent episode of “Ministry Now.”

After RFK Jr.’s step away from the presidential race and endorsement of Donald Trump, he is now speaking about the necessity of unity during this time, and how his upbringing in faith has made a difference in his worldview.

“First of all, I was raised in a very, very Catholic family and I integrated that into my thought, into my soul,” RFK Jr. says. “We prayed the rosary everyday, sometimes on multiple occasions, we went to church almost prayed before and after meals, we prayed the rosary at night, we read the Bible every night. my dad read the Bible to me, so I know that was part of who I was growing up.”

RFK says that for years faith was not part of his lifestyle during his battle with a heroin addiction. However, he had a spiritual awakening which turned everything around for him. He wanted to change and he knew it would take a miracle to see his life turned around for the better.

“I made an intellectual decision, ‘I’m going to start believing in God,'” Kennedy says. “Then I’m faced with the dilemma that everybody who makes that commitment has, which is how do you start believing in something that you can’t see or smell or touch or taste or acquire with your senses?…you act as if and that the compliance will precede the evidence. You will see the evidence and it will be overwhelming.”

Weiss and Lamb make the point that turning to God is all about living a life of surrender.

“It’s like a surrender of the heart and connecting to the One who created you,” Lamb says.

Lamb herself has learned much about surrendering to God’s plans and purposes even when they don’t seem to make sense. She discovered that He is the only One who can carry you through life’s storms. After her late husband, Marcus Lamb, passed away, she had to trust God that He would bring her through the unexpected grief and heartache. Since then, Lamb has seen God move mightily in her life personally and through Daystar.

Kennedy also talked about the need to fix issues in America that are hurting the health of our citizens.

“We have the worst health of any country in the world,” Kennedy says. “We have the best integrative medicine, doctors and functional medicine doctors, naturopaths, and you know all these people who are doing extraordinary work to restore, to obliterate or to end chronic can solve all these issues, but there’s no way we can solve them when we’re all tearing each other apart, when we’re all hating on each other.

“When Abraham Lincoln said a house divided cannot stand, and if we can figure out a way to stop the vitriol and stop the anger and the polarization and the demonization and the name calling and start identifying values that we all have in common as Americans, rather than focusing on those little issues that keep us apart, we can solve any of these problems,” he continues.

Uniting the house together instead of dividing it and separating it is one the basic principles Jesus taught us. For Christians, it is our job as the body of Christ to see the importance of all parts of Christ’s body, just as Paul reminds us to do so. This is vital in a world riddled with censorship around every turn.

“I’m still being censored on Facebook, on YouTube, on Instagram,” Kennedy says of his own personal experience.

In a world set on hiding goodness in the dark, perhaps this is the moment for the light of the truth to be shown through testimonies like RFK Jr.’s and Joni Lamb’s.

It is long past time for pastors and ministry leaders to speak out against the evil infecting culture today, and when voices such as apostle Alton R. Williams speak the truth of the Word out loud, people listen.

In a now-viral message at World Overcomers Church in Memphis, Tennessee, Williams issues a stern warning about the dangers of modern-day idolatry and replacing the Lord as the most important figure in our lives.

Williams’ message tackled two of the biggest idols infecting American culture today: the worship of race and gender and sexuality.

“This is the tough part, [and] y’all ain’t going to like this part, but there are two gods that the Black church, and I don’t like to say Black church cuz God don’t divide His church black and white. We all are part of the church, but I’m saying it to give reference to the African-American churches. Two gods that many are bowing to today and that’s the god of LGBTQ and the god of Blackness,” Williams reveals.

“People have made a god out of color, in other words, ‘I got to be with my color. I got to stand with my color.’ Meaning I’ll reject Christ,” Williams continues.

“[The] church is bowing to this LGBTQ thing, yes they are, I’m seeing it happen all the time. What they did here, they pushed LGBTQ on Black people and now in order for you to be in line with Black folk you got to almost accept LGBTQ,” Williams warns, pointing to how this lifestyle and acceptance of it runs contrary to the righteousness of God.

Taking his sermon one step further, Williams identifies the origin of how these two false gods were pushed upon Black Christians in America, and how the compromise made its way into the church.

“When [Barack] Obama put the [Pride] colors on the White House acknowledging this nation honors LGBTQ, I saw Black folk and Black preachers compromise. We got to accept it cuz our Black president goes along with [it]. I don’t care what color he is, if you ain’t in line with God I can’t stand with you,” exclaimed Williams to a church on its feet.

Hammering his point home, Williams reminds us that it is only with God that we can live a righteous life, and Williams cannot, and will not, vote for a political party who rejects the tenets of God.

“I can’t support a party that wants to remove God from its party platform,” says Williams. “You in trouble when the nation forgets ‘all got to make a decision: it’s either God or the devil. And when you vote, you’re trying try to ignore it and say it ain’t no big thing, but when you vote for people with these convictions and they get in office and they start doing these things you got a responsibility for it. If you’ve compromised in any way, you need to repent.

“…You can’t separate your politics from your biblical worldview. It’s my biblical worldview that determines my politics.”

New details have emerged from the horrific Mar. 27, 2023, mass shooting that claimed the lives of six people, including three children, at the Covenant Christian School in Nashville, Tennessee.

New light has been shed on the inner machinations of transgender shooter Audrey Elizabeth Hale (she identified as a male) after a local Tennessee outlet published her journal/manifesto.

On Tuesday, The Tennessee Star published the 90 pages worth of unredacted findings of Hale’s manifesto.

The journal included a number of dark and disturbed ramblings.

On one page, Hale scribbled quotes like “I hurt bad,” “I need to die” and “I hate life.” (That page also appeared to be signed by “Aiden,” the male name Hale was trying to use.)

On another set of pages, Hale wrote about “brown love.”

Quotes on those pages included ones such as “no brown girls, no love,” “I am nothing,” and “Brown love is the most beautiful.”

Other pages in Hale’s book exhibited a deep state of depression.

One such page, dated just a couple months before the horrific shooting, saw Hale scribble out: “Everything makes me sad I’m sad about everything I want to say…, goodbye.”

Hale was ultimately killed by police following the school shooting.

Some pages of Hale’s manifesto were chock-full of writing; others had scarce notes and illustrations.

In another set of pages, Hale — who is white — appeared to take direct issue with her own ethnicity.

One scribble pointed an arrow from the term “white privlage” (spelled incorrectly) to “embarrassment to self.”

Another scribble appeared to confirm that Hale suffered from some form of “white guilt.”

“WHITE NOTHINGNESS” she scribbled, followed by, “poor people resent this s***

“My parents aren’t rich. They work hard for thier money so I didn’t end up homeless.

“Yet I still feel bad.

“Cursed to be looked down upon.”

Elsewhere, in the manifesto, Hale touched on the topic of transgenderism.

“Major blow to girls; I am a boy that has no p****,” one scribble read.

Elsewhere in that same set of pages, Hale wrote, “I don’t care about living (my breath)…Death will be my way to find a better life.”

This publishing corroborates prior reporting from The Star, which also noted that it has not yet procured a different “spiral notebook,” which “is said to contain writings of her operational plan of attack.”

Additionally, it’s worth noting that authorities have been fighting hard to have this journal squelched.

“What I was told is, her manifesto was a blueprint on total destruction, and it was so, so detailed at the level of what she had planned,” Metro Nashville Council Member Courtney Johnston told the New York Post back in April 2023.

Johnston added: “That document in the wrong person’s hands would be astronomically dangerous.”

It is unclear if Johnston was describing the recently published journal, or the aforementioned spiral notebook.

The Star and its editor-in-chief have been involved in legal battles to procure the publication of more of Hale’s works.

Kamala Harris Distorts Bible Verse for Personal Gain

Vice President Kamala Harris managed to send a video greeting to a Christian conference quoting Scripture out of context about Jesus Christ, and then didn’t even bother to mention His name.

In the message to the Quadrennial Session of the General Conference of the African Methodist Episcopal Church taking place in Columbus, Ohio, last week, Harris said, “We are just 10 weeks out from the election, and I know you are already hard at work… organizing souls to the polls, making sure your members are registered and ready to vote.

“Because as we all know, this is the most consequential election of our lifetime. We face a choice between two very different visions for the future of our nation,” she added.

Ministry Leaders Speak Out After Attack on Greg Locke’s Home

Ministry leaders are speaking out after a gunman targeted Pastor Greg Locke and his family late last night.

Locke shared the disturbing news on Facebook, including images of bullet holes which were marked across his truck and the family’s home, even damaging his daughter’s headboard. One of Locke’s children was at home during the incident, but thankfully they were in a different area of the house. The Locke family is safe and were escorted to a secure location.

Since this news broke, ministry leaders close to Locke and his family have spoken out about the situation and how the body of Christ should react to this heinous act of violence.

Cahn says if anything were to touch the spot of the Temple Mount, it would wreak havoc.

“There were rumors that Jewish people wanted Passover on the mount and offer up a lamb,” says Cahn. “Hamas at that point said ‘You’re going to pay for this.'”

“The dragon’s saying, ‘Oh, you’re going to touch me? You’re going to move me from this Mount?…I’m going to strike you,'” he explains.

Israel was struck last year by Hamas on a day holy to the Jewish people after their desire to have Passover on the Mount was discovered beforehand. Another key element to what is happening today is the biblical sacrifice of the red heifers.

“This is part of the restoration of the temple,” Cahn says. “For the dragon, for the enemy, this is going to be a threat. Hamas even mentioned ‘those red cows’ was part of what happened.”

Biblical prophecy is being fulfilled all around us today, whether we realize it or not. Jesus promised He would come back. While we don’t know when he will return, we can use these signs as hallmarks of what to expect before Jesus comes.

Tragedy struck a north central Georgia high school Wednesday morning, when a gunman opened fire at Apalachee High School in Barrow County, Georgia, northeast of Atlanta.

According to the Barrow County Sheriff, “At approximately 10:23 a.m., officers from multiple law enforcement agencies and Fire/EMS personnel were dispatched to the high school in reference to a reported active shooting.”

The suspect is reportedly alive and has been taken into custody.

Four deaths have been confirmed by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, with the exact number of wounded in a constant state of flux amid the chaos of the event.

Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp has responded to the tragedy saying, “I have directed all available state resources to respond to the incident at Apalachee High School and urge all Georgians to join my family in praying for the safety of those in our classrooms, both in Barrow County and across the state.”

Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens released a statement saying: “My prayers are with the high school students, staff and families affected by the senseless act of violence in Winder, Georgia.

“I have been in contact with Chief Schierbaum, and the Atlanta Police Department has been working with the Atlanta Public Schools Police Department to bolster patrols around our schools for the rest of the day out of an abundance of caution.

“APD has also been on standby in case law enforcement agencies need assistance with this incident. May God comfort the victims and their loved ones in the difficult days ahead.”

Meanwhile, as reported through Yahoo News, President Biden first expressed not concern for the victims, injured, students and families affected by the tragedy, but with a statement condemning gun violence, while White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre cravenly seized the political opportunity to push for gun bans while the tragedy was barely hours old.

Now is the time to pray over our decaying nation. To pray for the hearts of her citizens to turn back to the Lord and to bind the enemy seeking to snuff out life as though it was worthless. Changing people’s hearts will bring about positive change in the world, not surrendering our freedoms for the false promise of governmental protections.

Locke shared the disturbing news on Facebook, including images of bullet holes which were marked across his truck and the family’s home, even damaging his daughter’s headboard. One of Locke’s children was at home during the incident, but thankfully they were in a different area of the house. The Locke family is safe and were escorted to a secure location.

Since this news broke, ministry leaders close to Locke and his family have spoken out about the situation and how the body of Christ should react to this heinous act of violence.

Pastor Mike Signorelli took to YouTube for a livestream where he condemned the actions against Locke.

“I’m righteously angry,” Signorelli says.

Signorelli pointed to slander within the body of Christ as a stimulant for horrible actions to occur.

“For months and months I’ve been warning leaders in the body of ‘hey, look at the way that your people are acting in this comments section. Look at the way they’re talking. You need to correct that. You need to rebuke that. You need to discipline that.’ And many of them actually laughed at me and said, ‘It’s not that big of a deal.'”

“We are creating the conditions for these acts of violence. I’m talking ‘we’ as the body of Christ because we’re cooperating with the rhetoric of demons,” he continues.

“You should be grieved,” Signorelli says. “When I saw the pictures that Pastor Greg Locke posted, I thought to myself, ‘This is a life-altering event.'”

Christian YouTuber Gabe Poirot also came out with a similar video, urging the body of Christ to speak and act more like Jesus.

“You cannot just be numb to what is going on around us because that’s exactly what the enemy is trying to do,” Poirot says. “Be praying for our pastors. Be praying for the ones that the Lord has anointed to be able to speak up and take a stand for these times.”

“It is so important that we stop the bickering, we stop the criticism, we stop fighting against ourselves and that we would unite,” he continues.

Isaiah Saldivar also re-shared Locke’s Facebook, urging Christians to “pray for Pastor Greg Locke and his family!”

Jenny Weaver took to livestreaming as well to speak against slanderous speech.

“Enough is enough,” Weaver says. “I am asking for every minister, for every pastor, every person that is leading a group of people, you need to start to help your people ministers.”

Weaver further warned against the spirit of offense, stating that its ultimate goal is murder.

“We have fueled the fire of those who are loose cannons and are thinking they are doing something righteous,” says Weaver. “This is why you must be careful going around and just jumping on bandwagons and wasting your time and not being productive and not seasoning your words with wisdom.”

Yesterday was the one-year anniversary of Pastor Locke’s Global Vision Bible Church National Deliverance Training Conference, where many people were set free through the power and the blood of Christ. It was also the release date of his new book, “The Generosity Journey.”
