NYC Mayor Offers Bold Response to ISIS Threats Against Manhattan

Mayor Bill de Blasio and New York City will not bow to the will of the terrorists, starting first with refusing to live in fear.

“It is the goal of the terrorists to intimidate and disrupt our democratic society,” de Blasio said during a press conference. “We will not submit to their wishes.”

While the Islamic State posts videos and attacks social media with threats, de Blasio said, the people of New York will continue to go about their business.

De Blasio says this attitude is vital in the fight against the Islamic State. Click here to watch the video to see more.

Will ISIS Launch an Attack Against America on Thanksgiving?

National security is a major concern in the wake of the deadly terrorist attacks in Paris, with major cities across the U.S. increasing police presence and safety measures.

The news comes as the latest ISIS propaganda video threatens to strike New York City, a message released only 48 hours after a similar video targeting Washington D.C.

New York City’s mayor and police commissioner stood together in the middle of Times Square Wednesday evening and vowed that while they while they will take necessary precautions, their city will not live in fear.

“Make it very clear the people of New York City will not be intimidated,” Mayor Bill de Blasio said. The new ISIS propaganda video brags about the Paris terror attacks and shows images of New York City, bombs and suicide bombers preparing for an attack.

“We have more police in the District of Columbia than any city in the United States. They have assured me that they are at a higher level,” D.C. Delegate Eleanor Holmes Norton (D) said.

U.S. intelligence officials warn that while they’re doing all they can to prevent a homeland attack. But the growing numbers of radicalized Americans who are inspired by ISIS are stretching their resources.

In an exclusive interview with CBN News, Morten Storm, a former jihadist turned spy for the CIA and the British intelligence office MI6, warns an attack during the holiday season is very likely.

“I have a feeling that, a bad feeling that—and I hope really I’m wrong—but it’s going to either be in this holiday in America or its going to be for Christmas,” he said.

“People are opportunists,” he explained. “They intend to create fear in people’s heart, and I know I will do that by saying this, too, but I want people to be aware that there are enemies out there.”

CBN News Terrorism Analyst Erick Stakelbeck agrees, saying major shopping seasons create the perfect environments for an attack.

“Look Thanksgiving, obviously, Black Friday, huge shopping day, right? The Christmas shopping season coming—these are unfortunately prime targets,” he said.

One FBI official recently told The Washington Times, “The attackers could look and act just like everyday Americans, until they strike with weapons we haven’t seen in terror attacks here.”

Authorities warn people to be careful of more attacks aimed at soft targets, such as sporting events, hotel parties, restaurants or other entertainment venues.

As ISIS Rises, Many Muslims Are Turning to Christ

I love reading stories from the great revivalists and evangelists. In fact, I own a number of books that recount wonderful healings and breakthroughs. Many of these are the kind of inspirational stories that make you want to get up and do something incredible for Jesus.

I recently pulled out a little volume called Miracles by the late R.W. Schambach (1926-2012). This book was originally published in the early ’60s and recounts some of his experiences under salvation-healing evangelist A.A. Allen (1911-1970) and when he later launched his own ministry. This is an exciting little book that stirs up a lot of faith.

One of the stories Schambach shared in this book really leaped off the page. As I read it, I felt that it really needed to be recounted. As we think about evangelism and what it means to touch a whole new generation, this is the kind of story that needs to be shouted from the rooftops.

Schambach shares that he had been supporting a missionary to India for 30 years. He heard this missionary mention that he had never brought a Muslim to salvation. This statement made Schambach angry.

Concerned that his money wasn’t doing what it should, he decided to go over and see for himself what was going on. So a big crusade was organized in India with over 50,000 in attendance. Schambach preached for hours; sharing powerful truths from Scripture. He assumed his anointed message would pierce the heart of the crowd. Yet, when it came time for the altar call, not one person out of 50,000 responded.

The missionary’s words came to mind. Yet, Schambach had already decided that he wasn’t going to stand for this. He knew God had called him to more than just preaching the Word. He was also commissioned to bring a demonstration of the gospel. Although the crowd was ready to leave, he told them, “I am not done yet. God says His signs follow the preaching of the Word. I have done my part and you are about to see Him do His part.”

Then, out of the massive crowd, he invited three handicapped beggars to come forward. One was blind. Another was deaf and mute. The last was crippled. After bringing them up in front of the crowd, Schambach openly prayed in the name of Jesus. Healing came to the blind woman as well as the deaf and mute man.

He felt compelled to do something different with the crippled woman. He explained to the crowd that he was going to pray in the name of Muhammad, their supposed prophet, and see if anything happened. He got her up in front of everybody and prayed in the name of Islam’s founder. Nothing happened.

Then Schambach said, “OK, I am now going to pray in the name that is above every other name. The name of the Savior, who is alive!” He then commanded the woman to be made whole in the name of Jesus. Strength immediately came to her legs in the sight of everyone.

In the aftershock of this moment, Muslims began jumping out of trees and running toward Schambach from all over the staging area. They were shouting, “Jesus is alive.” A group of people who were once completely unresponsive to the gospel became radically changed within a few minutes. Many of them were passionately pursuing Jesus.

The preaching of the Word was essential, but the demonstration of power took things to a different level. Preaching prepared their hearts and provided a necessary clarification of Jesus’ role. However, it was the signs and wonders that enabled the Muslims to truly visualize Jesus’ authority.

This story reminds me that Christians are being called to greater displays of power. I’m thankful for all the wisdom and truth that we have to share, but sometimes God wants more to be on display. Believers must be willing to take a greater risk for the gospel.

Sometimes what we really need is a demonstration to go with our proclamation.

Is the ‘Super Shemitah’ Manifesting?

It revealed the time parameters of the Balfour Declaration in 1917 that lead to the creation of the modern state of Israel.

A half-century later in 1967, its impact was felt during the Six-Day War when Israeli forces advanced through the Old City toward the Temple Mount and the Western Wall, bringing Jerusalem’s holiest site under Jewish control for the first time in 2,000 years.

Now, amid the Year of Jubilee—the “Super Shemitah”—many are asking what the 3rd manifestation of this 50-year biblical cycle will bring to the world.

Beginning in September and lasting through October 2016, New York Times best-selling author Rabbi Jonathan Cahn says the “Super Shemitah” cycle “doesn’t have to continue, but if it did what would that mean?”

“In each of the two cycles, it meant war, war in the Middle East, war concerning the nation of Israel, ending with a major restoration of end-time prophecy,” Cahn, author of The Harbinger and The Mystery of the Shemitah, told Charisma News. “Does the phenomenon of the seventh Shemitah and the prophetic Jubilee have to continue?

“No. It is enough that each of the central end-time restorations of the land, the land of Israel, and the city of Jerusalem, took place at the exact appointed parameters determined by the ancient mystery.”

On the biblical calendar, every seventh year was a Shemitah or Sabbath year. But every seventh Shemitah ushered in a “Super Shemitah” known as the Year of Jubilee. The Jubilee was the year of restoration.

“If you lost your property, your ancestral home, your inheritance, your father’s possession, your land, in the year of Jubilee, you got it back,” Cahn says. “You were restored. Everyone is to return to his property and to his family.”

If any people on earth have ever been especially separated from their ancestral home, it’s the Jewish people. Nearly 2,000 years ago, the armies of Rome drove the Jewish people from the land of Israel and scattered them throughout the earth.

“For two thousand years, they wandered the earth hated, persecuted, nation-less, homeless,” Cahn says. “And yet if the Jubilee belonged to any people, it belongs to the Jewish people. Could the Jubilee, the ancient year of restoration, the return to the land one has lost, to one’s ancestral possession, actually hold the key to Israel’s prophetic restoration and end-time events?”

Cahn’s comments come as some are asking why the end of the Shemitah in September didn’t result in economic calamity, war in the Middle East or the fulfillment of other end-time prophesies.

With regard to the end of the Shemitah in September, Cahn has pointed out that $11 trillion in global market wealth was wiped out during the Shemitah’s last quarter, not to mention nearly half the value of China’s financial markets. In addition, the “wave of terror” in Israel began with the outbreak of violence on the Temple Mount on September 13, Elul 29, the Shemitah’s last day, the “day of shaking.”

Jay Peroni, the chief investment officer at Faith-Based Investor and author of Blood Moons on Wall Street, says the global economy and markets are now exhibiting “very troubling signs.” He says current market conditions and the economy seem to be following the same pattern of prior Shemitahs that marked the beginning of economic downturns that took place over the course of several months.

“Many have been saying that this year’s Shemitah was uneventful,” Peroni says. “To that, I say, ‘You have to be kidding me!’ Those who think that a Shemitah impacts only the U.S. stock market are sorely mistaken. We serve a God who is sovereign, consistent, and always in control. Is He predictable? No! If He were, He wouldn’t be God. God moves how He wants to move. 2015 is no different.

“Though many assumed God would continue the pattern of the previous two Shemitahs and the U.S. markets would fall on schedule, this was not the case. The stock market dropped significantly in August and then rapidly recovered. However, this is following a classic stock market crash formula—the markets crash, quickly recover, and then the real drop happens. In November, the markets got close to their 2015 all-time highs, now we are seeing panic selling all over again.”

In their book, Israel First! Your Key to Understanding the Blood Moons, Shemitah, Promises to Israel, and the Coming Jubilee, Orthodox Jew Gideon Ariel and evangelical Christian Bob O’Dell offer explanations “for the lack of a cataclysmic conclusion to the blood moons in Israel and the lack of a major Shemitah economic collapse in the United States.”

Ariel and O’Dell, a former high-tech executive with Motorola and Wintegra, say the Year of Jubilee that began in September is “decisive to the United States and Israel relationship.”

The book builds on Cahn’s message with “cutting edge analysis.” In fact, Ariel and O’Dell found an “80 percent correlation” between prior Shemitahs dating back to 1900 and stock market corrections of 20 percent or more.

They say the blood moons phenomenon since 1948 is marking a three-phase rebirth of Israel, as well as a three-phase peaking of power in the U.S. and “perhaps Western Civilization.”

In the book, they propose the U.S. is now exactly halfway through a 28-year cycle composed of four seven-year periods that will determine the future of America. They claim Leviticus 26 foretold the “sudden terror” of September 11, 2001, the decline of power of the U.S. since the global recession in 2008, and that “lone-wolf terrorism and violence would initiate the new seven-year cycle in 2015 rather than for this cycle to begin with an economic collapse.” As evidence, they cite the wave of violence against Jews in Israel that began on the first day of the Jubilee, along with the terrorist attacks in Paris last week.

“We found passages in Leviticus 26 that seem to describe the events of 9/11 fourteen years ago and the decline in U.S. power over the last seven years,” O’Dell says. “We then said that if this pattern in Scripture is correct, the next seven years will also be predicted in Leviticus. And what might you suppose was the first phrase of the very first verse that was to apply to the seven years beginning in the fall of 2015?”

Lev. 26:22 begins: “I will let loose among you the beasts of the field, which will bereave you of your children.”

“We suggest in Israel First! that this could be fulfilled by an increase in lone wolf terrorist attacks,” O’Dell says. “Then came the college shootings in Oregon and elsewhere, the ISIS bomb killing one hundred at a peace rally in Turkey, and now the ISIS tragedy in Paris. Have you noticed in these attacks that most of the victims are young?”

Over the next seven years, they also warn that more economic hardship is coming, especially if the U.S. decides to “curse Israel” by agreeing to the creation of a Palestinian state.

“One of the main reasons that we tried to bring all these topics into one book is to unravel the confusion between what the phenomena is causing what to happen because it takes decades for it to take effect,” O’Dell told Charisma News. “The blood moons, in our opinion, is a very long-term phenomenon. That’s why we never expected something to happen on Sept. 28.

“However, when we look back at these four blood moons, we will say in the future that this was the time in which Israel graduated into adulthood. It will be a marker for Israel being able to stand up on its two feet without requiring a partnership with the United States. But it’s going to take a long time for that transition to occur.”

O’Dell says the blood moons tetrads are marking the rebirth of Israel in “three main phases”—the 1948 rebirth of the nation, the 1967 recapture of Jerusalem and what might occur during this “Super Shemitah” year.

“As far as specifically what might happen, it could be related to the temple, but we’re just not sure yet,” O’Dell says. “The big question before us all is will Israel take a major step forward in the next 12 months toward the reclamation of lands that He wants us to restore to the Jewish people. The way we see it is the Jews gave away the Temple Mount in 1967 right after they won it.”

O’Dell says one of their big questions is whether “God might desire to restore freedom of prayer for Jews on the Temple Mount during the Jubilee year.”

While many have been “hyper-focused” on the transition between the end of the Shemitah and the beginning of the Jubilee, O’Dell says people should be looking at what “God is doing in seven-year increments.”

“We are not expecting an immediate financial meltdown because we found a model for the Shemitah in Leviticus that shows the stages of how God interacts with His people when they are moving away from him,” O’Dell says.

Although prior Jubilees were marked by war and end-time restorations for Israel, Cahn says God “doesn’t have to repeat or continue the mystery.”

“Again, does it have to happen in this time period. No. On the other hand, it could. Either way we should be watchful,” Cahn says. “And either way we can say this: God is on the throne. God is over and in charge of all things. He’s the God of mercy and restoration.  It’s His will to restore. He never forgets His people. And when He makes a promise, He fulfills it. And when He does, He’s perfectly on time.”

Christians ‘Gravely Concerned’ About EU’s Counter-Productive Labeling Law

The head of the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem (ICEJ) recently expressed grave concerns about the European Union’s directive demanding that all products from disputed Israeli territories be labeled, a move that he said would “undermine economic co-existence” between Palestinians and Israelis and “harm those working toward peace.”

“This labeling law will only divide Israelis and Palestinians further,” said ICEJ Executive Director Dr. Jürgen Bühler ahead of an ICEJ-sponsored symposium on the labeling law due to take place in the European Parliament in Brussels in early December. “Co-existence is better achieved by establishing factories and business partnerships in areas where Palestinians and Israelis live side-by-side.”

“This highly-politicized directive will only end up hurting those it claims to help,” Bühler continued. “All the evidence indicates that the businesses being targeted employ tens of thousands of Palestinians and contribute to the well-being of all those living in the affected areas, both Jews and Arabs alike.”

“What’s more, it’s a one-sided law that unjustly singles out Israel for condemnation and violates the rules of World Trade Organization. Why is the E.U. unwilling to issue similar directives for goods originating in northern Cyprus or the Western Sahara, territories illegally occupied by Turkey and Morocco? It’s a double-standard,” declared German-born Bühler, “which reminds many Israelis of the discriminatory laws passed in Germany in the 1930s.”

“If the E.U. really wants to promote peace, they should stop penalizing those Israelis and Palestinians who are working together to make a living. Instead, they should provide greater incentives for them to forge deeper bonds of co-operation, without using labeling laws which could further the anti-Israeli propaganda that is sweeping Europe.”

“It is time that the European Union lived up to its own core values of free trade and open borders rather than seeking the expulsion of Jews from Judea and Samaria and the impoverishment of Palestinians who currently work alongside them,” Bühler added.

The upcoming symposium on the labeling law will take place in Brussels on Dec. 2 in cooperation with MEPs and representatives from dozens of ICEJ branches throughout Europe. It will call upon members of the European Parliament to invest in joint-ventures in Judea and Samaria to foster economic co-operation, stability and peace between Israelis and Palestinians in the area.

Obama Importing Muslims, Deporting Christians

The nation was forced this week to endure yet more pious prattling from President Obama, who spent time berating Americans who are worried about Islamic jihadis bent on blowing us all to kingdom come.

When individuals say that we should have a religious test and that only Christians—proven Christians should be admitted—that’s offensive and contrary to American values, the president said—just one day after he called such behavior un-American.

What’s offense and contrary to American values is refusing to properly investigate those wanting to come to our nation—especially those coming from regions that are hotbeds of Islamic extremism.

But the president says such prudence only further inflames the Islamic jihadis.

“ISIL seeks to exploit the idea that there is a war between Islam and the West,” he said. “When you starting seeing individuals in positions of responsibility suggesting that Christians are more worthy of protection than Muslims are—in a war-torn land—that feeds the ISIL narrative.”

It’s counterproductive and it needs to stop, he warned.

Those of us who fear that Islamic radicals might be lurking among the refugees have been called every name in the book: bigots, Islamophobes and un-American.

But the cold, hard reality is that Protestants, Catholics and Jews aren’t the ones beheading people. The Lutherans and Nazarenes aren’t gunning down young folks in concert venues.

Nevertheless, the president remains steadfast. The Muslims will come.

“We don’t have religious tests to our compassion,” he told journalists from high atop his soapbox.

But that’s not entirely accurate.

Last year, the Obama administration led a fierce legal battle to have a German Christian family thrown out of the United States.

The Romeikes fled their homeland in search of a nation where they could homeschool their children. A judge initially granted them asylum—believing they were escaping from religious persecution.

However, the Obama administration waged a fierce campaign against the Romeike family—demanding they be returned to Germany.

The family lost court battle after court battle—but at the 11th hour, the White House relented and decided begrudgingly to let them stay.

And just a few months ago, a federal immigration judge ordered a dozen Iraqi Christians deported from a facility in San Diego.

An Immigration and Customs Enforcement spokesperson declined to tell The San Diego Union-Tribune why the Iraqi Christians were being sent back to their native land.

So the next time President Obama wants to lecture the nation about religion, maybe he could explain why his administration is importing Muslims and deporting Christians.

Kasich Proposes Judeo-Christian Agency to Fight Terrorist Propoganda

Republican presidential candidate John Kasich says he would set up a government agency to promote Judeo-Christian values overseas to counter propaganda from Islamists.

The Ohio governor says the agency would advocate the values of human rights, democracy, and the freedoms of speech, religion, and association, with a focus on the Middle East, China, Iran and Russia.

He believes the United States is failing to advance its values in the battle of ideas.

“We must be more forceful in the battle of ideas,” Kasich said in a speech at the National Press Club. “U.S. public diplomacy and international broadcasting have lost their focus on the case for Western values and ideals and effectively countering our opponents’ propaganda and disinformation.”

Biblical Prophecies Converted Famous Author From ‘Skeptic to Believer’

New York Times best-selling author David Limbaugh says prophecies in the Old Testament that were later fulfilled with the coming of Jesus Christ in the New Testament played a key role in bringing him “over the tipping point from skeptic to believer.”

Limbaugh, author of The Emmaus Code: Finding Jesus in the Old Testament, told The Church Boys podcast that Old Testament predictions regarding the coming of Christ were so compelling that he decided to become a believer.

“One thing that blew me away and got me over the tipping point from skeptic to believer was the amazing Messianic prophecies that were fulfilled in such specificity,” Limbaugh said. “Micah 5:2—the prophet Micah in the Old Testament predicted the actual city of Jesus’ birth, Bethlehem.”

Radio talk-show host Rush Limbaugh, Limbaugh’s brother, says the book is “gonna shake up a lot of people.”

“It’s called The Emmaus Code, but it is the subheadline here that’s gonna rock a lot of people: ‘Finding Jesus in the Old Testament.’ That’s a bridge that you’re not supposed to cross, and yet he has written an entire book on it. It’s just out.”

In the book, Limbaugh “unlocks the mysteries of the Old Testament and reveals hints of Jesus Christ’s arrival through all 39 Old Testament books. The key to the secrets of the Old Testament, Limbaugh argues, is the crucial New Testament encounter between the risen Jesus and two travelers on the road to Emmaus.”

On The Church Boys podcast, Limbaugh said that Christ’s life, death and resurrection were all predicted in the Old Testament. He cited various prophecies:

“No bones will be broken, He’ll be falsely accused, He will stand silent in the face of His accusers, He will be ridiculed and scorned and mocked, His robe … they’ll gamble for His robe and His clothes,” Limbaugh said. “He’ll be crucified along with the sinners, the transgressors.”

Benny Hinn Prophesies Radical Revival Over America

In the case of revival vs. judgment, evangelist Benny Hinn is gravitating toward a miraculous revival for America.

“You are going to be taking men and women out of the flames of hell,” Hinn says. “You are going to be rescuing loved ones out of the clutches of Satan.”

Hinn’s words were posted online late last month but echo evidence of revivals birthed across the country, such as in Kentucky, Arkansas and Mississippi.

“You are going to see the sick healed on a scale you never have before,” Hinn prophesies. “You are going to walk and lay hands on men and women on stretchers and wheelchairs, (with) cancer and disease, and you are going to see them healed.”

Putin: 40 Nations—Including G20 Members—Are Funding ISIS

As major world leaders gathered to discuss fighting the Islamic State, Russian President Vladimir Putin revealed astounding information that could change the battle plan:

Forty different countries, including some who were represented at the G-20 Summit, are funding ISIS, according to a report by RT

“I provided examples based on our data on the financing of different Islamic State … units by private individuals. This money, as we have established, comes from 40 countries and, there are some of the G-20 members among them,” Putin said.
