Should Biden Be Added to Monument for Mount Rushmore’s 75th Anniversary?

As you read this commentary, a ministry I’ve been a part of almost since its inception will celebrate our 50th anniversary in D.C. Intercessors for America’s core Scripture (alongside 2 Chron. 7:14) is 1 Timothy 2:1-2, directing us as our first priority to pray for our governing authorities.

I pray for Mr. Biden every day but that does not mean I must respect him as a person (while I respect the office of the presidency). I believe he is guilty of grave dereliction of duty and instead of being the problem solver desperately needed at this critical time, he is detached and seemingly cares little about the plight of the American people.

He ignores the economy (gas, groceries, savings, interest rates) and conducts himself in a ceremonial way with a leisurely lifestyle frivolously spending trillions. He is the biggest spending president in U.S. history, adding an astronomical $6 trillion to our national debt which can lead us to financial collapse.

He pays no attention to our border crisis, lying brazenly with his team (“The border is closed, secure and under control”) as fentanyl seizures have increased 800% with annual related deaths over 100,000. He projects weakness to world leaders, suggesting appeasement with Hamas as he regularly brushes off alleged corruption with Hunter.

I have no malice towards him but there comes a time when we must “speak the truth in love” (Eph. 4:15).

Are You Listening?

If you’ve listened to Joe Biden’s speeches from his inaugural address on “America United” then “America’s Successful Withdrawal from Afghanistan” plus numerous addresses celebrating the “phenomenal success” of “Bidenomics” for working class Americans, you might be persuaded he sincerely believes what he says and might believe it’s time to make room for him on the world famous monument of Mount Rushmore.

Should we be broaching the subject with FBI Director Wray raising the serious specter of Hamas and jihad terrorists in America which differs with Biden’s stirring speech in Philadelphia (with the ominous red backdrop) where he warned America’s biggest threat today is “Trump’s MAGA Republican extremists”?

2 Questions

1. Should we carve out additional presidents on Mount Rushmore, our iconic symbol of America to include Biden?

We just celebrated the 75th anniversary of the Mount Rushmore monument where over 3 million pay tribute yearly, awestruck by the 60-foot-tall sculptures of four outstanding presidents:

Washington, Jefferson, Teddy Roosevelt and Lincoln.

The colossal project started in 1927 in the granite mountain of Black Hills, South Dakota. Heavy-duty dynamite blasted out almost half a million tons of rock!

If you’ve visited the breathtaking site, you quickly observed the mountain is barely able to hold the four presidents. It would be a catastrophic event if some ambitious individuals tinkered with the classic stone carvings. The national monument is overseen by the reputable U.S. Park Services who would not be amenable to marring the classic achievement. It would take a massive fundraising effort alongside an enormous amount of legal red tape.

So, is there any chance of carving out room for additional presidents like Joe Biden? Nope—ain’t gonna happen.

2. Are there other presidents in line ahead of Biden?

I personally believe Joe is delusional about what he’s done and is somewhat of a legend in his own mind. He does campaign appearances at taxpayer expense in cities portraying a picture of a prosperous and progressing America that doesn’t square with reality. The Bible warns all in Romans 12:3 “not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think with sober judgment…” I don’t know if he’d do this, but why don’t we line him alongside previous presidents?

3 Heroic Ones

  • Lincoln

    This outstanding Christian Republican leader was the “Great Emancipator” who exhibited competence and courage, being honored worldwide for the values he embodied and espoused. The outstanding leadership and tireless work he invested to overcome slavery even at the cost of his own life is evidenced by his statues seen in 145 places in America and two dozen abroad. His Gettysburg Address is a classic masterpiece.

  • Washington

    The “Father of our Country,” first President and leader of the Constitutional Convention was also a military hero in the Continental Army that defeated Britain, the most powerful military force on earth. He was a strong Christian whose values of patriotism and conservatism would have placed him as a Republican, but the party didn’t exist.

  • Reagan

    He was older yet indefatigable. The “Great Communicator” after two terms as Republican Governor of California took on the challenge of a nation in decline and turned things around through his strong leadership and uncompromising traditional principles. His conviction was “peace through strength” and he led the way to victory in the “Cold War,” defeat of Communism, collapse of the Berlin wall and release of American hostages in Iran. He boldly declared “Government does not solve problems; it is the problem!” With Russian leader, Gorbachev, not even a hint of appeasement.

3 Horrific Ones

  • Buchanan

    This Democrat president took office in 1857 and was inept and left a legacy that led to the Civil War and over 700,000 Americans killed. His laziness and lack of leadership resulted in civil unrest, secession of states and a divided country. He never married and many believe he was a homosexual. He supported the infamous Dred Scott Decision and was an unskilled puppet in the hands of pro-slavery forces undermining our society.

  • Hoover

    After a period of prosperity, wasteful and foolish spending led to the Stock Market crash of 1929 and Great Depression. He was an uncaring man living in a “bubble” who ignored the needs of the people and with millions out of work, in debt without homes ending up in shanty towns (“Hooverville”). Hoover, a self-absorbed individual, eventually departed, moving into a posh Waldorf Astoria luxury suite in New York City.

  • Carter

    In 1976, a supposed “down home, good ol’ boy” from Georgia, Jimmy Carter, slipped into the White House as a Democrat you could trust. His policies plummeted America into decline and a “state of malaise.” Mortgage rates shot up to 18.6% and inflation hit a record 14.6%. Ignorant and naïve, I confess I voted for Carter, learning my lesson that elections have consequences, and I’d never be an uninformed voter again!

    Here’s the Deal: For over three years, I’ve been “blowing a trumpet” that Biden is inept and incapacitated. His cognitive state is only going to get worse. His cadre of Marxist propagandists shamelessly prop him up.

    It should be obvious to the reader that I was never serious about him being placed on Mount Rushmore, but it was simply another way to say with urgency as the 2024 election is less than a year away: “Joe has got to go!” {eoa}

Charisma News Brief: Alexander Pagani Rebukes Demonic Spirits Over New York City

During a night of worship hosted by Pastor Mike Signorelli as part of “The Domino Revival,” Apostle Alexander Pagani rebuked demonic spirits that have held the clutches of New York City for far too long. He specifically called out none other than the false god, Baal.

“Not too far from here they erected an altar to Baal,” Pagani said. “And not too far from there they erected a statue to the beast. But God sent us here today to confront the ruling principality called Baal, and to tell you, you will not have New York City.”

Pagani also came on with a strong and stern warning to those steeped in the occult and other demonic practices that their day and reign had ended over the city.

“And God sent us here to tell every witch and every warlock and every priestess and every coven that we cancel every blood ritual. We cancel every contract. We cancel every sacrifice made for New York City. We cancel it out by the blood of Jesus,” Pagani said.

Pagani equated the faithful and true followers of Christ today who are ready to fight the good fight of faith to that of the Gideon army. While it may seem like the numbers are small, God is going to use those who He has strengthened to pull down the satanic strongholds over the big apple.

“Gideon’s army could not be successful until they first take down Gideon’s father’s altar to Baal,” Pagani said. “There’s way too many altars all over this city. So, before revival would come we gotta kick the devil out.”

Pagani then led the crowd into a mass repentance and renunciation of the demonic spirits gripping the city.

“We come against the spirit of Baal. We command you in the name of Jesus, loose yourself. Get off of New York City. Every demon, spirit of witchcraft, spirit of new age, we command you in the name of Jesus, we order you, go back to hell where you came from, in Jesus’ name,” Pagani declared.

There’s no question that the bondage of demonic spirits needs to be broken off all over the world. However, there is something incredibly special about the strongholds that must be shattered over New York City. New York Times best-selling author Jonathan Cahn says it is the gate to America and Alexander Pagani warned that NYC has acted as a symbol of temptation just like the fruit of good and evil. May we heed their advice and pray for a breaking of strongholds and a coming revival in America’s city. {eoa}

What’s The Difference Between Quenching and Grieving the Holy Spirit?

Is there a difference between quenching and grieving the Holy Spirit?

In one of his latest videos, Pastor Benny Tate answered the question about the difference between the Holy Spirit being quenched and grieved.

“We quench Him by what we don’t do, and grieve Him by what we do,” Tate said.

One of the key understandings that Tate explained as to why we can both quench or grieve the Holy Spirit is from the fact that the Holy Spirit is much more than just a fantastical power source that so many people treat Him to be. He’s a person.

“I hear people talking about ‘it’ as if the Holy Spirit is an ‘it.’ Folks, if your Bible refers to the Holy Spirit as an ‘it,’ that’s a bad translation. Because see, He’s not an ‘it.’ He’s a person. He’s not energy, He’s not force, He’s not excitement. Literally the Holy Spirit is a person,” Tate said.

Tate also shared how coming to know the Holy Spirit is pivotal and necessary to live out the Christian life. Otherwise, a believer is not completely filled with God’s presence and guidance.

“God doesn’t want people to blow up. God doesn’t want people to dry up. God wants a balance of Spirit and truth. And when you have a balance of Spirit and truth people won’t blow up. People won’t dry up. People will grow up,” Tate said.

Because the Holy Spirit is a person and not just some mere power, we cannot treat Him as though He is only a force. Instead, we must realize that because He is a person and because He is completely holy and perfect, there are times when He will speak truth to us that is even if it isn’t exactly what we want to hear. Tate points out that this is where many churches go wrong because they are so careful to be seeker sensitive that they end up pulling the truth of the gospel away from their core messages.

“I was taught you need to design services to attract people,” Tate said. “Felt-needs, seeker sensitive. Some would say ‘don’t say anything that would offend anybody’…this is what I believe: I don’t believe we need to try to attract the people. I believe you need to try to attract the Holy Spirit. Because see I believe if you will attract the Holy Spirit you will attract the people.”

While it is critical for churches to preach the gospel and bring in new people seeking a relationship with God, it is impossible for anyone to truly meet and build up that relationship without the Holy Spirit.

“If we want to attract the Holy Spirit, it can’t be about individuals, it can’t be about a financial status, it can’t be about status in any way. We’ve got to lift up Jesus and brag on Jesus and promote Jesus, and when you do that you will attract the Holy Spirit,” Tate said. {eoa}

Navigating the Spiritual Minefield: Astral Projection and Biblical Caution

Satan is working overtime to permeate society with the deception that the occult, New Age and witchcraft will answer timeless questions about humanity’s spiritual nature.

But Satan is a corrupter, a mimic of what God created. This is especially true when it comes to ways to commune and worship that which is spiritual.

Christians are commanded to worship the Lord and meditate on His Word (Josh. 1:8; Ps. 119:15), but the devil has taken meditation and twisted it into something evil that is forbidden by the Lord.

Author, lecturer and Nephilim specialist L.A. Marzulli discussed with Charisma News in a recent interview the dangers behind the practice of astral projection, and how very real they are.

“Shamans and witch doctors and medicine men, they all go to the same place. They get their power from the second heaven; they get their power from the dragon. It’s an occult technique, and they learn how to use [Christians] are forbidden to do that,” Marzulli explains.

Astral projection is defined as, “an intentional out-of-body experience that assumes the existence of a subtle body, known as the astral body or body of light, through which consciousness can function separately from the physical body and travel throughout the astral plane.”

Marzulli, along with former satanists, witches and occult users such as now-evangelist John Ramirez, have all shared that astral projection is very real and they were able to accomplish this practice while they were under satanic influence.

“People with familiar spirits sometimes will astral project and my previous incarnation in the new age, I did astral project. Some people also call it lucid dreaming,” shares Marzulli.

“It’s very pleasurable, because you’re flying. And you’re flying through rooms and walls, and everything else, because we’re spirit, soul and body. And what leaves is your spirit. But that’s not supposed to happen,” he continues.

Being taken by the Lord, however, explains Marzulli, is a distinctly different and holy event.

“Now if God takes us out and shows us something, that’s a whole different deal. I’ve been taken twice. But I was fully awake. I wasn’t asleep and I wasn’t trying to do anything,” says Marzulli.

Marzulli shares that when he was still a baby Christian, the Lord took him and gave him a vision reminiscent to Revelation 19, with Jesus depicted as the rider on a white horse, flanked by the armies of heaven. After the vision, Marzulli was back and astonished at what had just happened.

“And then I’m back. And I’m going like, what was that? That’s when the Lord takes us and does something. I’m not initiating. I’m looking for it. It’s a gift,” Marzulli shares.

The warped versions of God’s granting visions and dreams have deceived many and allowed demonic oppression to enter their lives.

Warnings throughout the Bible were given to steer God’s people away from these practices because the Lord finds them abominable (Lev. 19:31; Deut. 18; 2 Kings 21:6; and many others).

With biblical discernment and wisdom however, believers will be able to avoid these counterfeit practices that seek to twist the gifts of God and lead His people into spiritual bondage. {eoa}

Carlton Pearson’s Tragic Journey to Deception

Carlton Pearson, the Pentecostal bishop who was labeled a heretic by his peers because he rejected the authority of the Bible, is now “at death’s door” according to a video he posted last week from his hospital bed. The 70-year-old preacher, who has battled prostate cancer off and on for years, was put under hospice care a few days ago.

From his deathbed, Pearson smiled and told his followers he would see them in heaven. But will he? I’m glad I’m not the one to decide that. But I wouldn’t want to be in this man’s shoes as he steps into eternity.

In the 1980s, Pearson was one of the most recognized preachers in America. Raised in the Church of God in Christ, and mentored by evangelist Oral Roberts, Pearson established his Higher Dimensions Christian Center near Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Pearson’s popular Azusa conferences attracted thousands to Tulsa every year, and his church grew to 5,000 members at its peak.

But one day a bizarre message appeared on the marquee in front of the Higher Dimensions sanctuary on South Memorial Drive. The sign said, in plastic moveable letters, “JESUS IS THE WAY. HE’S JUST NOT THE ONLY WAY.”

That was one of the more obvious signals that Pearson had begun to move away from biblical faith. Decades before anyone would talk about “Christian deconstruction,” Pearson began dismantling his beliefs—adopting instead what he called a “gospel of inclusion.” The Pentecostal bishop became a universalist, and he announced that all people—whether Muslim or Hindu, Christian or non-Christian, repentant or unrepentant—would go to heaven.

Pearson also began teaching that the Bible wasn’t inspired by God. He claimed it was mistranslated and full or errors.

“I won’t get into great detail, but I’m just saying that which we revere as the most sacred lexicon of truth on the planet is not necessarily—and any true scholar will tell you—infallible or inerrant,” Carlson said. “I am saying what we were taught was wrong. We’ve been sold a bill of goods. I’m assaulting 1,500 years of tradition.”

Some secularists applauded Pearson because they viewed his outlandish statements as bravery. But members of his Bible-believing church left in droves, and the Higher Dimensions facility ended up in foreclosure. Oral Roberts then refused to allow Pearson to host his Azusa conference on the ORU campus’ Mabee Center.

After the Joint College of African-American Pentecostal Bishops Congress labeled Pearson a heretic in 2004, he doubled down on his deception and became a Unitarian. He publicly denied the existence of hell, declaring that a God of love would never sentence unbelievers to eternal damnation. And before long, fawning secular reporters were calling on Pearson every time they needed a nonbelieving liberal to make social commentary.

When Pearson’s critics argued that Jesus often preached about the reality of hell, and that the Bible clearly states that God judges the wicked, he said the Scriptures are themselves flawed.

“The average person, even preachers, that you approach and ask, ‘Where did we get the Bible?’ most of them can’t tell you that,” Pearson once said. “Men sat around tables in rooms for weeks drinking wine, eating and taking breaks, fussing, and sometimes cussing, arguing over what would be in the Bible and what would not.”

I have nothing but sympathy for a man who is battling cancer in a hospital bed, and I wish Mr. Pearson no ill will. But as people mourn this man’s passing, I hope we won’t feel any sympathy for his dangerous teachings—which no doubt misled thousands of people during the two decades that he preached a counterfeit gospel.

In times like these we must remember that God holds people accountable for spreading heresy. The letter written by Jude, the half-brother of Jesus, is a short epistle, but it is blunt in its condemnation of false prophets who “turn the grace of our God into licentiousness and deny our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ” (Jude 1:4).

The Bible isn’t “nice” to heretics because they lead people astray. Jude offered no sympathy to false teachers who had every chance to repent, but didn’t. He said: “Woe to them!” (v. 11), and he compared them to “clouds without water,” “autumn trees without fruit,” “wandering stars, for whom the black darkness has been reserved forever” (v. 12,13). False teachers incur God’s wrath because their lies are the ultimate form of spiritual abuse.

I wish I could call Pearson my brother, but the Bible says those who depart from the faith have fallen from grace. Even though this man wore a clerical collar, stood behind a pulpit and carried ordination credentials, he butchered the Bible, misled naïve Christians and arrogantly opposed God with his heresies. Thankfully this man’s “assault on 1,500 years of tradition” was unsuccessful.

In the last moments of his life, I pray that Pearson can repent and be reconciled with his Maker. May God have mercy on his soul. {eoa}

Franklin Graham’s Noi Festival Roma Draws 20,000 Seekers to Christ

Recently, Rome witnessed an extraordinary gathering of faith, as nearly 20,000 people flocked to the historic Palazzo dello Sport for the Noi Festival Roma, Italy’s largest evangelical Christian outreach event ever. This two-day festival, held November 4 and 5, marked a momentous occasion in the heart of Italy’s capital, spreading a message of hope and salvation.

The word “Noi” itself translates to “We” or “Us” in Italian, signifying unity and togetherness. This was the second installment of the Noi Festival, with last year’s event taking place in Milan, where 13,000 attended. The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, the driving force behind these gatherings, proudly announced that the crowd in Rome occupied 18,000 seats within the arena, requiring an outdoor screening for the overflow of eager attendees.

What makes this event truly exceptional is that it united over 800 evangelical churches across Italy for a singular purpose. It’s a testament to the urgency of the times we live in, where spiritual darkness encroaches on every corner. The world is desperate for salvation, and this event responded to the call of the Great Commission in the Bible, which urges believers to spread the message of hope and eternal life.

The Noi Festival Roma featured a powerful message from Franklin Graham, President and CEO of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, and worship that stirred hearts, performed by renowned artists like Michael W. Smith and Kari Jobe. Graham’s message went beyond the rich history, culture and religion that define Rome; he came to share a profound truth—the path to a personal relationship with God is through His Son, Jesus Christ.

In a world where many may feel insignificant, Graham reminded the thousands assembled that they are cherished in the eyes of God. He declared, “Your life is important to God! He made you, He created you and He loves you. How do we know this? Because the Bible—the Word of God—tells us that God loves us. The Bible says God so loved the world He gave His only Son, and whoever believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life.”

Just before the Noi Festival, the Italian Senate honored Franklin Graham for his remarkable work with Samaritan’s Purse, the charitable organization he leads. Samaritan’s Purse exemplifies the Christian mission of extending a helping hand in times of crisis and disaster, both physically and spiritually. Since its inception in 1970, this organization has tirelessly served those affected by war, poverty, natural disasters, disease and famine, all while sharing the love of God through Jesus Christ.

In March 2020, Samaritan’s Purse opened a field hospital in the Italian city of Cremona, providing critical medical assistance during a time of great need. Their dedication saved countless lives and was a testament to the love of God in action. This compassionate response from Samaritan’s Purse led the churches in Italy to extend an invitation to Franklin Graham to return and preach. Samaritan’s Purse recently opened a new airlift response center, equipped to serve the world’s most urgent needs.

In times when the world is plunged into spiritual darkness, events like the Noi Festival Roma and organizations like Samaritan’s Purse stand as beacons of hope, following the divine calling of the Great Commission to bring light to a world in desperate need of salvation.

Wake Up World, Before Jewish Blood Is Shed In Your Country

I am urging you. I am pleading with you. I am imploring you. Wake up! The irrational hatred of the Jewish people and the demonizing of Israel is reaching proportions so dangerous that if people of conscience do not stand up, speak out and push back, Jewish blood will start flowing in America, England and many other countries around the world. Wake up!

When Muslims in Sydney, Australia, are chanting, “Gas the Jews,” you know that violence is near.

When Jewish students at a university here in America have to hide in a library in fear for their lives, you know that violence is near.

When Jewish children in Germany are afraid to go to school and parents warn their children not to wear the Star of David in public you know that violence is near.

When I post an image of the Israeli flag on Facebook and draw comments like, “Children killer. Hospital bombers,” you know that violence is near.

When a BBC headline reads, “British Jews are ‘full of fear, like I’ve never seen before,'” you know that violence is near.

When Rep. Rashida Tlaib can post a 2024 election warning to President Biden, featuring crowds chanting “From the river to the sea”—meaning, no more State of Israel—you know that violence is near.

Wake up!

A Jewish friend from mine in Australia wrote to me saying, “I don’t even feel comfortable going to the city because I know that people think ‘I look Jewish.’ I think it’d be dangerous for me to go there. Sad world we live in!” Very sad. Very dangerous. And everywhere we look.

Rep. Mike Gallagher wrote, “According to a Harvard/Harris poll, 51% of Americans ages 18–24 believe Hamas was justified in its brutal terrorist attacks on innocent Israeli citizens on October 7.”

Fifty-one percent? How can this be?

Hamas was justified in roasting babies in ovens? In decapitating them? In burning whole families alive? In raping old and young women until their pelvises were broken, before shooting them in the head? In kidnapping holocaust survivors? Hamas was justified?

Journalists who were allowed to view the footage of the carnage, which was “compiled from closed-circuit (CC) TV, vehicle black boxes, Hamas members’ bodycams, social media, call recordings and mobile phone videos,” were overwhelmed. I even read that some went into shock and had to be hospitalized. Knesset members had to leave the room weeping when the video was shown. They could not bear to witness another moment.

Yet more than half of Gen Z Americans polled believe that Hamas was justified in this barbaric slaughter?

The New York Post reports, “The latest in campus antisemitism horror has seen Jewish students at Cornell dehumanized and threatened with death.

“‘If I see a pig male Jew I will stab you and slit your throat,” read one threat, posted online on a Greek life website. “Eliminate Jewish living from Cornell campus,’ read another.

“A third vile message read “Gonna shoot up 104 west,” referring to the kosher dining hall on campus.

The university has responded by making the usual noises about not tolerating antisemitism—but has cravenly advised staff and students to avoid that dining hall. In other words, the school caved to the hate-spewers, taking a step toward precisely what one demanded: the elimination of Jewish living from the Cornell campus.

It will not take much to turn these hateful words into hateful actions. It is time to wake up!

According to the FBI, “Jewish people make up 2.4% of the U.S. population but are the targets of about 60% of hate crimes linked to religion.” And this has been building for years.

Even as I write, massive crowds around the world are gathering (or have already gathered) to denounce the nation of Israel. And they are not just calling for a cease fire. They are not even calling for a two-state solution. They are calling for the elimination of Israel. Wake up!

And sadly, at times like this, even some Christians show their ugly side, casting the most evil aspersions on Israel’s actions, branding all Jews as Christ haters (or Christ killers or antichrists), and giving theological justification for Jewish suffering. At the very least, they claim that Israel has no divine right to be in the land. This, too, should bring a fresh wake-up call, as the history of the church’s persecution of Jews is written in Jewish blood.

In light of all this, and with tremendous urgency in my spirit, I urge every person of conscience, every lover of justice, everyone who fears and honors God.

Please, today, speak out against the demonization of Israel and the Jewish people.

Categorically denounce Hamas and distance yourself from those who support Hamas (and Islamic Jihad and Hezbollah and the rest of these terrorist groups).

And unequivocally affirm Israel’s right to exist as a nation and to live in peace.

At the same time, you can express your grief over the suffering of the Palestinian people.

You can pray for Israel to do its best to avoid civilian casualties.

You can affirm that Palestinian blood is as precious in God’s sight as Israeli blood.

You can advocate for whatever arrangement you feel is safest and best for all parties involved in this decades long Middle East conflict.

But without hesitation and without shame, you must raise your voice in support of Israel and the Jewish people now, letting the haters know that when they come against Israel, they are coming against you. It really is a matter of life and death.

(By sharing this article with others, you help spread this urgent message. We must wake up!) {eoa}

Charisma News Brief: Elon Musk’s ‘Grok’ Will Answer Questions ChatGPT is Too Afraid Of

Elon Musk is testing a new competitor to ChatGPT called, “Grok.” Unlike ChatGPT, Musk has promised that Grok will not be afraid to answer “spicy” questions that come its way.

On the XAI account on X, Grok is described as “an AI modeled after the ‘Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy,’ so intended to answer almost anything, and far, harder, even, suggest what questions to ask!”

The post goes further to suggest that Grok is meant to provide humorous insights into the questions it gets asked.

“Grok is designed to answer questions with a bit of wit and has a rebellious streak, so please, don’t use it if you hate humor!

“A unique and fundamental advantage of Grok is that it has real-time knowledge of the world via the X platform. It will also answer spicy questions that are rejected by most other AI systems.”

As the world of AI continues to grow rapidly, there have been concerns about the spread of misinformation especially within the church as was such the case when ChatGPT created a bible verse in support of the transgender community. Back in the summer ChatGPT was also used to deliver a sermon at a Lutheran church in the form of an avatar created from a chatbot.

However, with conservatives and Christians receiving strikes from big tech like Google, Facebook and YouTube, Grok could potentially provide an alternative to ChatGPT and other AI systems.

“As of right now, XAI says that Grok is still a very early beta product – the best we could do with 2 months of training – so expect it to improve rapidly with each passing week with your help,” XAI wrote.

Musk also announced on X that Grok will first be available to those who have had an X Premium+ account the longest. Grok will be available to X Premium+ users for $16 a month. {eoa}

Navigating Religious Crossroads: A Pastor’s Journey from Catholicism to Christ

In a world filled with diverse religious beliefs and practices, the journey of faith can take various routes.

One such journey is that of Pastor Mike Shreve, who transitioned from being a devout Catholic to a dedicated Christian. In sharing his story, Pastor Shreve offers not a condemnation of the Catholic faith, but a loving and compassionate message for Catholics to find a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ. His story is a testament to the importance of personal encounters with the Lord and a desire to follow Scriptural teachings.

Warm Memories of Catholic Upbringing

Pastor Shreve’s background is deeply rooted in the Catholic faith, with warm memories of growing up in a Catholic family. He recalls his grandmother’s unwavering devotion to her faith, praying the Rosary daily and expressing her hope of rising with Jesus. Shreve’s own early experiences included serving as an altar boy and being influenced by priests who exuded Christ-like character. These early encounters with Catholicism had a positive impact on his life, as they kept him sheltered from many of the challenges present in the public school system.

The Quest for Biblical Authenticity

Despite these fond memories, Pastor Shreve’s journey led him to explore the Bible for himself, a practice he believes many Catholics overlook. As he delved into Scripture, he began to notice disparities between the Catholic teachings he’d received and what the Bible conveyed about authentic Christianity. His pursuit of the truth led him to a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ.

Understanding the True Nature of the Church

One significant point of distinction that Pastor Shreve raises is the definition of the church. In Catholic doctrine, the church is viewed as the sole repository of truth, excluding all other denominations from being part of the “true church.” With over billion members, Catholicism is the largest segment of Christianity worldwide. However, Pastor Shreve emphasizes that there are two aspects to the concept of the church: the professing church and the possessing church. The professing church includes all who acknowledge the historical existence of Jesus, His death and Resurrection, while the possessing church consists of those who have a personal, authentic relationship with God. Pastor Shreve’s testimony places importance on the latter, emphasizing the need for a personal relationship with Christ.

Challenging the Doctrine of Infant Baptism

A significant point of divergence between Catholicism and Pastor Shreve’s perspective is the practice of infant baptism. Catholic doctrine teaches that infant baptism results in regeneration, receiving the Holy Spirit, eternal life, membership in the church and the removal of original sin. However, Pastor Shreve contends that true biblical baptism requires repentance and a conscious choice to follow Jesus, making infant baptism biblically unfounded.

The Exclusive Priesthood and Mediatorial Role

Pastor Shreve also questions the concept of an exclusive priesthood in Catholicism. In the Catholic faith, only priests can administer sacraments and perform religious rituals. This emphasis on a mediatorial priesthood from birth to death fosters a sense of dependency on the church for salvation and forgiveness. Contrary to this, the Bible teaches that all believers are priests, able to approach God directly for forgiveness and reconciliation through Jesus Christ.

Rethinking the Notion of Saints

Another topic of discussion is the veneration of saints within Catholicism. While Catholic doctrine canonizes specific saints who are believed to have miraculous powers, Pastor Shreve argues that all believers are saints, having been sanctified, made holy and set apart by God through salvation. Therefore, he questions the need to intercede with saints and emphasizes that true believers have Jesus and the Holy Spirit as intercessors.

Contemplating the Doctrine of Purgatory

The Catholic doctrine of purgatory, a temporary realm of suffering where individuals are purged of their sins, is another subject of scrutiny. Pastor Shreve asserts that belief in purgatory undermines the sufficiency of Christ’s sacrifice on the cross, as it implies that individuals must atone for their sins through suffering.

Reaffirming the Foundation of Faith

In sharing his journey from Catholicism to Christianity, Pastor Mike Shreve extends a hand of understanding and love to those in the Catholic faith. His aim is not to criticize but to encourage Catholics to explore a deeper, personal relationship with Jesus Christ by seeking biblical authenticity and a clearer understanding of Christian doctrine. His message is an invitation to embark on a faith journey that prioritizes faith in Christ over religious tradition. {eoa}

Standing with Rabbi Jonathan Cahn: A Response to Rolling Stone’s Anti-Semitic Attack

In recent years, Rolling Stone magazine has taken a sharp turn into anti-Christian, anti-biblical and anti-God territory, and its current piece attacking Rabbi Jonathan Cahn serves as a stark reminder of this concerning trend.

The article not only misrepresents Cahn’s message, but also reveals a broader issue of bias and prejudice against those who hold a biblical worldview. It is crucial to shed light on the anti-Semitic undertones within the article. Cahn answered Rolling Stone’s article demonstrating each off-base point.

The Israel Hamas End Time Mystery

The supposed controversy surrounding Rabbi Cahn’s recent video, “The Israel-Hamas End-Time Mystery,” centers on a brief segment where he expresses compassion and sympathy for Israel and the Jewish people in light of their ongoing struggles. In his message, he highlights the significance of Jesus (Yeshua) as the Prince of Peace, emphasizing that true peace can be found in Him. Rolling Stone decided to use this call to salvation to claim Cahn blamed Jews for the Hamas terror attack, all because they have not accepted Jesus as the Messiah.

Misrepresentation and Anti-Semitic Overtones

Rolling Stone’s headline, “MAGA Messianic Rabbi Blames Hamas Violence on Israeli Indifference to Jesus,” blatantly distorts Cahn’s words and intentions. This misrepresentation is not only factually incorrect but also laced with anti-Semitic undertones. By suggesting that Rabbi Cahn blames Hamas violence on Israeli indifference to Jesus, the article falsely accuses him of demonizing the Jewish people, which he has never done. Spoiler alert: Rabbi Jonathan Cahn is in fact Jewish and expresses how much he deeply loves his people.

The Labeling of “MAGA”

The article’s very first word, “MAGA,” is a loaded term designed to pigeonhole Rabbi Cahn and tarnish his message. The left hates Donald Trump, and will try to disparage his base of followers in any way they can. Cahn teaches about the Word of God and the importance of Jesus as the Messiah, which is inherently Christian and rooted in biblical truth. Associating him with “MAGA” is an attempt to marginalize his views and delegitimize his faith, simply because Rabbi Cahn prayed with Donald Trump at Mar-a-Lago. Cahn states there is only one way for America to rise up and be the great nation she once was: repent and turn back to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

The True Message of Rabbi Jonathan Cahn

Rabbi Cahn’s message in his video “The Israel-Hamas End-Time Mystery” centers around the essential belief in Jesus as the Messiah and the importance of returning to biblical values. His concern for the Jewish people’s peace and salvation is a reflection of genuine compassion and not an accusation against them.

The Controversial “Stubborn” Insertion

The article goes further by adding the word “stubborn” to Cahn’s message, a deliberate insertion that carries anti-Semitic connotations. Accusing the Jewish people of being “stubborn” has been used in historical anti-Semitic rhetoric, and it is unacceptable to imply such a characterization in this context. Not to mention, Cahn never even used the word. Instead, Rolling Stone inserted it and made it appear as though it was Cahn was the calling Israelis stubborn, which is false.

Messianic Jews and Jewish Tradition

The article also wrongly implies that Messianic Jews are selling their faith aggressively, and are more charismatic Christian than Jew. This mischaracterization belittles the faith of Jewish believers who embrace Jesus as the Messiah while still maintaining their Jewish traditions. This is a natural expression of their faith and should not be distorted or disparaged.

Rolling Stone’s article on Rabbi Jonathan Cahn is a clear example of how media outlets can distort the truth to promote a harmful agenda. We must support Cahn, who continues to preach the message of salvation and compassion for Israel and the Jewish people, while opposing those who seek to undermine the message and the biblical values he represents. Our faith calls us to love our neighbors and stand for the truth, and that includes standing with Rabbi Jonathan Cahn in the face of such baseless attacks. {eoa}
