A nativity scene was displayed at the U.S. Capitol on Tuesday.

The “Christmas Carols and Nativity Display” was made possible after Rev. Patrick Mahoney, director of the Christian Defense Coalition, won a federal court case.

Because the steps of the U.S. Capitol building are public, peaceful demonstrations can take place.

“We are so very thankful for the opportunity to share the joyful and powerful message of Christmas at the steps of the United States Capitol,” Mahoney said in a press release. “In a hurting and wounded world, there is no more redemptive and healing message than the Christmas story. The hopeful declaration of ‘Peace on earth, goodwill toward man,’ is one that needs to be heard and embraced by all Americans.”

“The words spoken by the prophet Isaiah centuries ago are still relevant for us today. ‘For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace,” he said, quoting Isaiah 9:6.

“This is also a significant victory for religious freedom and the 1st Amendment,” Mahoney added. “This event has ended and won the war on Christmas in the public square.”

Similarly, Texas State Senator Mayes Middleton (R) filed a bill to require a nativity scene on the state’s capitol grounds during Christmas. The bill will be considered during the next legislative session.

“Religious liberties are enshrined in both our state and national constitutions,” Middleton said. “In the Christmas season, it is important to reflect on one of the greatest moments of history-the birth of Jesus. Our nation and state were founded on Judeo-Christian values, and we can see many of Jesus’ teachings throughout the Declaration of Independence, Constitution, and laws.”

“During the Christmas season, Texas can visit their beautiful capitol and be reminded of the reason for the season with a Nativity Scene on the grounds, along with the traditional Christmas trees in both the Senate and House Chambers,” he said.

As 2024 wraps up in just a couple of weeks, we’ve witnessed a wide array of events in culture, news and within the church. Amid everything that has unfolded this year, we’ve also seen prophetic words fulfilled that were spoken at the beginning of 2024.

Todd Coconato shared with Charisma Media a prophetic word he had for the year 2024, and this word has come to pass in a variety of ways.

Coconato believed that 2024 would be a year of revolutions, one of “increased turbulence,” while another revolution of revival would happen at the same time.

“We’re going to continue to see increased turbulence,” Coconato told Charisma. “There’s going to be a much more bumpy ride this next year.”

While 2024 would be a bumpy ride, it is the remnant, the true people of God, that Coconato said would hunger for God’s righteousness as we experience turmoil and struggles. Throughout the year, we’ve seen church and ministry leaders fall due to past sins and events, something that has greatly shaken up whole congregations, and even led to ministries shuttering such as the case with IHOPKC.

“…the real ecclesia, the body, they have been strengthened and fortified in their faith over the last few years. Because of some of the crazy things that we’ve been through, I think that God has allowed this time for us to really go into the secret place and get deeper in His Word because otherwise you couldn’t make it,” Coconato said.

While there has been pressing, breaking and shaping happening in the church, we’ve also seen a revival and an increased hunger for the Holy Spirit. College campuses, prisons and even in rally stadiums, people’s hearts have turned toward the Lord this year, seeking His face as the world around us continues to grow darker. International locations broke out in revival, and children in India even broke out in prayers of deliverance and protection for the United States.

It is through the shaping and the breaking that we have seen an increase in people coming to the reality of Jesus’ goodness and faithfulness as the Lord of all.

Coconato also predicted that 2024 would be a time of a rise in the Antichrist spirit.

“It’s the spirit of the Antichrist, which is really rising,” Coconato said. “…in the past, this was a little bit more hidden, you know, we kind of thought maybe left versus right, or it’s a political issue. But this is definitely a spiritual matter.”

Persecution around the world against Christians continues to ramp up, and we also see a greater number of people and nations coming against Israel. We even saw the Pope come against the true spirit of Christianity, saying that all religions lead to God.

The key in all of this, however, is for Christians to pray.

“…here’s the good news, is that we press in more than ever in prayer. We fast, we do the things that the Scripture says, we actually walk this out in a way that the Bible tells us to do,” Coconato says.

Chris Reed Sounds Alarm on Drones, Encourages Prayerful Response

The recent sightings of massive drones over New Jersey and New York have sparked a wave of speculation and concern. With reports of drones as large as SUVs hovering in the skies, the issue has become a hot topic of debate. Congressman Josh Gottheimer has pointed the finger at Iran, asserting that these drones are part of an orchestrated operation. However, the Pentagon has pushed back against these claims, denying any direct evidence linking the drones to Iran. Amid this unfolding mystery, prophetic insights from ministry leader Chris Reed offer a spiritual lens through which we can view these events.

Reed has issued an urgent call to prayer in light of the drone sightings. “Let me tell you about these drones that are in the Northeast right now; we have got to pray,” Reed says in a recent broadcast. Sharing his prophetic experience, he warned, “Iran is behind this, and it’s very disturbing that President Biden is not more involved.” Reed’s concerns echo those of many who feel the federal government’s response has been lackluster. God has been warning us over and over again about what is ahead. Why is most of the population not interested in listening to such warnings? Recently, a woman named Elizabeth Nebenfuhr reached out to me about a near death experience that she had as she was laying on an operating room table. Reed’s prophetic vision included a grim scenario: an explosion at the top of a building in New York. “I’ve seen an explosion of a building in the Northeast,” he revealed, adding that other prophetic confirmations have pointed to similar threats. He warned that these drones are part of a coordinated effort, with terrorists scouting locations to deploy IEDs or other attacks. “There’s lots of drones flying over America, and they’re looking for the right places at the right time to hit,” Reed said, emphasizing the seriousness of the situation.

While these warnings may evoke fear, Reed’s message ultimately points to the hope found in Christ. He reminded believers that God reveals such threats not to instill panic but to call His people to action through prayer. “God gives us these things; He reveals these things so we can pray to avert them, minimize them or lessen the damage,” Reed explained.

As Christians, we must remain grounded in the Word of God during times of uncertainty. Scripture provides the foundation needed to discern truth from deception and to stand firm in faith. As the Bible instructs in 1 Thessalonians 5:20-21, “Do not despise prophecies. Examine all things. Firmly hold onto what is good.” Every prophetic word, including this one from Chris Reed, must be tested according to Scripture and the spirit in which it is given to ensure it aligns with God’s truth (1 John 4:1).

The Western church is in a precarious position, and evangelist Nick Vujicic is sounding the alarm. With piercing clarity, he warns that the church has drifted far from its mission, resembling a “country club and a social gathering” more than the body of Christ. His call for repentance and renewal is not merely timely—it is urgent.

Vujicic’s critique of the modern church is sobering. “We are seeing the fruit of us not really discipling the next generation or having accountability,” he told The Christian Post. In his estimation, the church’s shift toward entertainment-driven services has stripped the Gospel of its depth and transformative power.

“A lot of Western churches in the USA changed their approach and actually started watering the Gospel and bringing a little bit more entertainment, a little bit more fun,” he explained. “They went from meat to milk.”

The results, according to Vujicic, are dire. The younger generation is adrift, grappling with addiction, depression and lacking moral grounding. Gen Z, he observes, is spending over seven hours a day on screens, succumbing to technology addiction and the pitfalls of an increasingly hypersexualized culture. “Today, we have Gen Z swearing, saying the F word, sleeping around, and everyone knows it, but no one’s really keeping anyone accountable,” he lamented.

Vujicic’s diagnosis points to a fundamental problem: the church has lost its focus on Jesus. Without making Him the priority, the church cannot hope to fulfill its mission of transforming lives and preparing hearts for eternity. “We don’t talk about the things that we need to talk about,” Vujicic said. “For as long as we don’t start healing the broken hearts that need healing, and for as long as we don’t bring in boundaries, as long as we don’t hold our leadership accountable, I am very afraid of what’s ahead.”

These warnings are not mere criticisms but a plea for revival. The church’s role in shaping the next generation is critical, and it must return to the principles of discipleship and accountability. Pastors and leaders must shift their focus from entertaining to equipping. Preaching must return to biblical truths that challenge sin and call for holy living—the “meat” that strengthens believers.

Vujicic’s reflections also shine a light on the broader societal issues that intertwine with the church’s failings. The staggering number of abortions carried out by churchgoers and the unspoken trauma that follows is just one example of how silence and complacency have taken a toll. As Vujicic aptly put it, “Of the 25 million abortions in this country, many were carried out by women who regularly attended church. We’re not talking about the PTSD that comes with that.” Healing can only come when the church addresses these painful realities head-on, offering the hope and redemption found in Christ.

The path forward requires courage and conviction. It demands that the church cast aside distractions and set its eyes firmly on Jesus. Only by prioritizing Him can the church fulfill its mission to be a beacon of light in a dark world. Vujicic’s call to repentance is a wake-up call to a body of believers that has, for too long, been lulled into complacency. “The first thing Jesus did was flip tables and crack a whip with the church and correct the church. And the last thing Jesus wanted, He expressed in prayer that we would be one,” he warns.

The time for action is now. If the church heeds Vujicic’s warnings and recommits to its calling, it can once again be the transformative force that Jesus intended it to be. We must return to the foundation of faith or continue down a path that leads to further decline. For the sake of the next generation and the glory of God, the church must right the ship—and quickly.

Several images showed Pope Francis, seated in a wheelchair before the nativity scene. This appearance was seemingly part of the unveiling of the nativity scene to the pope, along with the donors and artisans who had created it.

Traditionally, the Nativity scene at the Vatican is displayed with the baby Jesus until Christmas Eve, the evening of Dec. 24.

According to Catholic news outlet Crux, the Vatican did not explain why it removed the display, however, many commentators believe it was due to the backlash. The site also noted that this particular nativity scene is not the official nativity scene displayed in St. Peter’s Square.

International Christian Embassy of Jerusalem (ICEJ) Vice President and Spokesman David Parsons praised the removal.

“We are relieved at reports that the Vatican has decided to remove the provocative Nativity display with an infant Jesus resting on a black-and-white keffiyeh, which is an unmistakable symbol of Palestinian nationalism,” Parsons said. “This Crèche not only denigrated Jewish heritage, it also undermined core tenets of the Christian faith. Indeed, millions of Christians worldwide were instantly incensed by this exhibit ahead of the Christmas season, and the Vatican did the right thing in taking it down.”

Parsons said the Jewishness of Jesus is central to the Christian message, as the promised Messiah had to be born from Israel.

“If Jesus were a Palestinian Arab, then he would not have qualified to be the Christ, the promised Messiah, and Savior of the world,” Parsons explained. “The Hebrew and Christian Scriptures are all clear that he would be the ‘Son of David’ springing forth from the ‘root of Jesse,’ the least clan of the tribe of Judah. The New Testament affirms he was born in the ‘City of David,’ where the wise men came seeking him who was born ‘King of the Jews,’ not the rais of Ramallah.”

“Taken together, these actions by the papacy have signaled a disturbing ill-will towards the Jewish state and people. We commend the Vatican for changing its mind on the Nativity display and urge the pope’s handlers to also abandon any anti-Semitic messaging,” Parsons concluded.

John Bevere points out that Revelation discusses how the bride, the people of Christ, are to prepare themselves for this imminent return.

“It doesn’t say He clothed her, although He has clothed us with the robes of she has made herself ready,” he says.

The Beveres explain that Revelation discusses how Jesus has seen our actions, our works. These will be taken into account at the very end, not necessarily our heart’s desires, plans or intentions. It is the things that we did for the kingdom of God that will be taken into consideration.

“He’s talking about your labor of love,” John says. “He’s talking about your involvement in building His Kingdom. Are you on the sidelines? Are you just going to church every single Sunday?”

Lisa Bevere also makes a keen point that we should take seriously as we consider what the Lord truly desires from us.

“He’s not asking for our money; He’s asking for our life,” she says.

Jesus does not want us partially. He wants every bit of our hearts, our lives and everything we have to give Him. He wants to refine us like gold and make us to be more like the image of Christ.

“The reason why God rebukes, why He chastens, is that He prunes us so that we can bring forth good fruit,” Lisa says.

The goal of our lives should be to please and honor the Lord at all times in all of our ways. Whether Jesus returns or we are called home to heaven first, we should live for Him to hear Him call us His good and faithful servants.

Donald Trump’s win in November caused seismic waves across the country, and it shook up more than just politics. It served as a clear wakeup call to legacy media outlets.

MSNBC hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brezinski quickly saw the writing on the wall. “They are overseeing a sinking ship,” says Curtis Houck with Newsbusters. “Joe and Mika, you could think of as the captains of the USS Resistance.” 

After being vocal Trump critics, they met with the president-elect at Mar-a Lago and are now starting to play nice as they made clear recently on the broadcast. “Joe and I realize it’s time to do something different,” Brezinski told viewers. “That starts with not only talking about Donald Trump but also talking with him.” 

The move by Joe and Mika makes sense based on ratings alone. Following the election, MSNBC’s total viewership dropped 38% and CNN is down 27%.

Houck sees this as desperate times. “Part of that desperation is going to meet with the ‘fascist’ himself,” Houck tells CBN News. “And they’ve admitted in previous weeks that they want to do the show differently, which I take that to mean, perhaps go back to the Morning Joe that it used to be.” 

But it might be too late to do any good. Trust in the media has been fading for years. Back in 1972, only 6% of Americans said they didn’t trust the media. By the Clinton years in 1997, that number increased to 15%. When Trump first took office, it jumped to 24% and now, eight years later, 36% of Americans don’t trust the media at all. 

“That is such an extraordinary number, and it should be a shock wave in newsrooms across this country,” says John Solomon, the CEO of Just The News. “Unfortunately, most newsrooms are still in I fear the pattern of misreporting, of loss of audience, loss of connection with audience, loss of perspective with audience, is going to continue.”

I had two NDE’s this one I speak of here now and another 9 months later again on an operating table (I will discuss that one again as well at a later date).

I was diagnosed with aggressive breast cancer in the summer of 2004 which then began the battle, followed by a very radical mastectomy of my left breast, It was a aggressive treatment that was also in need of aggressive chemotherapy and radiation.

After the first year and a half I was met with another challenge during my recovery, I began to experience excruciating pain that brought me to a place of begging God to please take away the pain, so much damage had been done to my nerves, muscles, tendons and joint of the arm that was given chemotherapy (before placement of port in chest), that anytime I reached out or reached up I was in agony.

All I wanted to do was praise Him with both lifted arms again without severe pain.

I prayed for healing and did everything I could to the point to where I couldn’t take it anymore?

Surgery was inevitable.

I had had many surgeries before, and remember I had my mastectomy already so I was fully trusting God that He would take care of me through this journey as well.

I have shared the testimony of my souls encounter with our Lord Jesus Christ, as my body lay on operating room table, I stood with the Lord.

He told me I had to go back and tell His children the things He told me and showed me.

He told me to ‘Tell His children, tell His people , tell is church (just like that) that He loves them and He’s coming back very soon, but before He comes back there are things they must do and things that must happen.”

I told Him ‘they will not listen or believe me…

He said “Elizabeth they did not believe me or listen to me either, and they mocked me…” then I was reminded of the words in the Bible, His crucifixion.

I have had many naysayers, but I can’t let that stop me.

What I’m here today to share with you is about what He imparted into my spirit (it’s hard to describe) that I could only share bits and pieces throughout the years because it is so painful and traumatic.

The faces I saw in my spirit broke my heart, I call it “The faces of hopelessness” many will die with those faces and the faces of terror.

Hearing Him speak and being shown His great sorrow was the absolute worst, I was absolutely broken from His words.

GOD does not take pleasure in the demise of the sinful people.

This will happen because man did it all to themselves because of the sin of greed.

Lust of the eye, lust of the flesh and the pride of life.

Because they put another god before Him.

This is not easy to talk about and it’s hard to share and most people don’t want to hear it, but I must be obedient, this is the time to release it as best as I can.

As I was with Him, I was in awe, He was more beautiful than the English language can describe, I was shown beautiful and heavenly things, but I also knew the seriousness of what He was speaking to me in this visitation.

He spoke to me in a serious, gentle and calm voice and He said “Elizabeth, I have work for you and you must listen.”

He impressed upon me that His children must worship Him in spirit and in truth!

His children today must be prepared to be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power in these days to come.

He impressed upon my spirit that His coming is very, very soon and He began to impress upon me the things to come.

He said “I am coming soon!” And I knew as He spoke that it was very, very soon.

He then said ” Before I come there will be catastrophic events and great destruction… and hopelessness”

It was impressed upon me what those things will look like and I will now speak of those things.

I will say this… that after this visitation I was never the same, I knew His great love, His sorrow about sinfulness but I also knew His Holy justice.

My heart was in distress for many days after I cried wanting to go back with Him, but I knew I had to return and care for my husband, children and later grandchildren, but mostly I had to preach and share what I saw.

The things that will come up on the earth will be terrifyingly unbelievable.

It will be one thing after another, The Earth will open up and people will fall into the Earth into the pits as the Earth enlarges its mouth as the Bible says,

The Earth will roll and topple (become distorted in form), it will not just be in one place as earthquakes, tornados, hurricanes, tsunamis have happened before, this will be like nothing that has ever been seen before.

People will cry out for it to stop…

There will be one devastation and then another and then another, people will not have time to concern themselves with their loss before another happens.

We see these things happening already, but people will not be able to even keep up with them.

It’ll be one hurricane after another one earthquake after another, one tsunami after another.

Before, during and after such things parents will be running to and fro trying to find their children as they are taken from them. As like the days of the Holocaust

Mothers will be crying out in the street because her children are either dead, dying or dragged away.

These things are happening right now in other countries, but soon America will see these things.

This is what was spiritually impressed upon my spirit.

All this time I was asking Jesus to help me to remember it all, but I also did not want to be given such an assignment it was going to be hard and I knew it and I knew I was going to be hated for what I must stand for, possibly even die for all of what I’m shown and told (no one wants to be hated, threatened or murdered, but GOD)

Most Christians today they just want to tell of the good things so no one will be upset…I told the LORD I needed His help and boldness and He filled me right there and then.

I told Him all He shows me and must align with His words written in the Bible…

Fire will consume so much of the land, Waters will cover houses not in just one small town, but many, whole states will be destroyed in moments.

Jesus was emphasizing that He wants his children prepared to not be caught off guard.

The revealing of the Antichrist will come upon all men soon.

When he showed me the signs of the times (2006) things hadn’t quite began yet as they are now, but we’re now in the contractions of birth.

We’re in the time of sorrows, Tribulation has begun!

It’s not something that’s coming, It’s here, it’s now!

The strong delusion is here!

The gross darkness will cover the whole Earth soon and gross darkness the people! Isaiah 60:2

You will see people doing things you never thought they would would do in their own front yards and there will be nothing you can do about it!

Lawlessness will cover the whole earth and there will be no one to bring justice, but the Almighty GOD.

Woman will take the lives of their babies in their own womb in the streets to make a point to those who want to save their babies and there will be nothing anyone can do…evil will seem as if it’s having its way.

People will be in great terror and try to flee, but they will be caught.

The unthinkable things they do in the dark will be done in the open air …Isaiah 24:18

The darkness that will take place will be worse than what people were doing in Pompei before it’s great destruction there will not even be ash left that takes the form of it’s victims.

There will come many SUDDENLIES!

Oh, LORD have mercy!

I could only feel His great sorrow as His words spoke to me.

There will be more plagues like nothing we have seen, that will come upon the people, Zech 14:12.

The Anti Christ will be enthroned and world war will follow, war that brings all consuming fire, weapons of mass destruction…nuclear weaponry upon the Earth.

The judgment upon those who warred against Jerusalem (as the word says) Zechariah 14

No one will be able to say this has happened before, because there will be no history of it ever having happened, because it will be much worse than the days of Noah and Sodom and Gammorah.

The people who love sinfulness will bow down to the anti Christ and they will murder for what pleases their flesh.

The cries in anguish and the cursing of God will be horrendous.

People will curse their pastors, the church people will be murderously angry and turn against each other, because their pastors told them to do this or to do that, they will receive the mark… yes I was told Christians will be deceived, they are already because they listened and trusted a man/men.

There will be great hunger and people will do the unthinkable to fill their bellies.

People will go insane!

Pray that you would be able to escape these things to come!

Repent of sin now!

Return to the LORD if you have not done so already!

Jesus told me ” Do not be afraid!” It will be a fearful time.

“The great and dreadful day of the Lord” is a phrase from the Bible that refers to a time of judgment when Jesus will return and destroy the wicked…

The phrase appears in the Bible in reference to Jesus’ Second Coming. It describes a day of judgment that will be terrifying, cruel and full of fury.

Amos 5:18: “The day of the LORD is darkness, and not light”.

Joel 2:31: “The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the LORD come”.

Isaiah 13:9: “Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger”.

Be reminded that these faces of hopelessness and the death and destruction that you see will be all over the world just like this, but magnified and multiplied.

The ad for Google Shopping showcasing a male in women’s clothing, sparked widespread criticism across social media.

“Google launches WOKE Christmas campaign featuring man wearing women’s clothing complaining about his skin,” commentator Oil London wrote on X.

A Google spokesperson told Fox News: “Everyone likes to find a good deal and save money. That’s why we’re promoting Google Shopping as the best way to do that. To put it in perspective, this was a single sponsored Instagram post, representing a fraction of a percent of a much wider Google Shopping campaign.”

American Faith reported that a recent ad from Jaguar sparked backlash after featuring diverse and sexually ambiguous models.

Jaguar’s campaign featured individuals in vibrant clothing. Phrases such as “create exuberant,” “live vivid,” “delete ordinary,” “break molds,” and “copy nothing” appear in the ad. There were no vehicles in the campaign.

Managing director Rawdon Glover told the Financial Times that the campaign’s message was lost in a “blaze of intolerance.”

“If we play in the same way that everybody else does, we’ll just get drowned out. So we shouldn’t turn up like an auto brand,” Glover said. “We need to re-establish our brand and at a completely different price point so we need to act differently. We wanted to move away from traditional automotive stereotypes.”
