In an exclusive interview with Charisma Media, Byron Stinson explained the historical importance of the nativity and fascinating insights on the archaeological background of the manger itself.

“In Micah 5 it says, ‘Blessed are you Bethlehem Ephrathah, for unto you shall be the place where this Messiah will be born,'” Stinson says.

Stinson points out that this land of Bethlehem is the place of Jesus’ family lineage, where Ruth and Boaz married, the lineage of David emerged, making the land of Bethlehem critical for the prophetic purpose of Jesus’ birth. Stinson says this place also held great significance for temple sacrifices as well.

“So in this place,” Stinson says, “Solomon went and he had made a facility of pure limestone running from east the west, just like the tabernacle tent, same size as the tabernacle tent, divided like the tabernacle tent with an outer court, a holy place and a holy of holies, and in that place is where these special Lambs of God were raised up for one year before they would be taken to the temple, both the Passover Lamb…[and] the Yom Kippur lambs were raised in this place.”

Stinson says through his relationships with archaeologists in the land, he’s had the opportunity to take many pastors to the fields of Bethlehem where Solomon held these great responsibilities. Here he says is the place where the manger of Jesus Christ can be located.

“…the actual manger, which was made of stone and by the way, it’s a double manger because it has two animals you’re raising, so the double manger was found there in this exact place, so it’s the place that confirms what the Bible tells us about this extraordinary event of angels coming and saying to the shepherds, which are priestly shepherds, ‘Be happy, be joyful for unto you is born the One that is going to bring salvation to the world,'” Stinson says.

Stinson explains that what would happen at the time of the sacrifice is that the perfect lamb would be taken, wrapped in swaddling cloths to make sure no blemishes or harm would come to the lamb until the time for the sacrifice came. In a similar way, Christ, who is the perfect Lamb of God, was wrapped in swaddling cloths when He was born.

The impetus of his exploration, Rife said, was his grandfather’s death two years ago.

“I’ve never been a super religious person, but, when my grandpa passed away, something hit me that I was like, ‘I’ll never see this person again,’” he reflected. “So something has to exist. I skew Christian, so I started going to church a little bit more.”

Rife continued, “I hate church; I find it excruciatingly boring. But I want to believe in God, and it’s obviously a huge part of the process.”

Kim Kardashian’s latest Christmas-themed video has ignited a storm of outrage, and for good reason. The video, which purportedly celebrates the holiday season, is anything but festive. Instead, it unfolds like a surreal fever dream, replete with bizarre imagery that is as irreverent as it is unsettling.

Mary is depicted holding the reins of a donkey, while Jesus, crowned with thorns, appears in scenes laden with blasphemous undertones. The video’s inclusion of these figures in such a twisted context, capped off by grossly inappropriate sexual implications involving Santa Claus and a camcorder (played by Macaulay Culkin), is a direct affront to the Christian faith and acceptance of sexual immorality.

This sickening distortion of Christmas is a stark reminder of the lengths to which the enemy of God will go to mock and corrupt the image of Jesus. Satan and his spiritual forces understand that Jesus is “the way, the truth, and the life” (John 14:6). By exploiting influential celebrities like Kardashian to distort and pervert truth about who Jesus really is, they aim to sow confusion and lead people astray. Actor Denzel Washington took a major step in his walk with the Lord over the weekend, getting baptized and receiving his minister’s license.

The “Gladiator II” star participated in a water baptism at the Kelly Temple Church of God in Christ in Harlem, New York City, on Saturday, conducted by Archbishop Christopher Bryant.

Bryant shared that Washington attended the church as a young child and was “filled with the Holy Spirit after visiting another church with actor Robert Townsend in the 80’s.”

The First Jurisdiction Church of God in Christ Eastern New York livestreamed the special moment on Facebook.

The Academy Award-winning actor received a certificate of baptism and his minister’s license, which will allow him to become ordained in the future, TODAY reports.

“We celebrate the addition of Minister Denzel Washington into the clergy, having received his minister’s license in the Church of God in Christ today, in a truly uplifting moment,” read a Facebok post by Bryant.

Washington took a moment during the service to reflect on the milestone.

“In one week I turn 70,” he said. “It took a while, but I’m here.”

Washington later shared how his baptism fulfilled a prophecy. He recalled the words of a woman named Ruth Green, whom he met at his mom’s beauty parlor when he was 20 years old.

“She said, ‘Boy, you are going to travel the world and preach to millions of people,'” he said. “She wouldn’t even spell the word prophecy. My mother wrote the word ‘prophecy’…50 years later, look at God. If He can do this for me, there’s nothing He can’t do for you. The sky literally is the limit and there’s no limit to the sky.”

He also thanked his “loving, faithful wife” of 41 years, Pauletta Washington, who was in the congregation supporting him.

“To God be the glory. Hallelujah!” he told the congregation. “Anything I can do, I will do for this church, the Almighty. I just want to be in that number when the saints go marching in.”

US Citizen Found ‘Guilty’ of ‘Hate Speech’ for Quoting Bible Verse

A Virginia realtor accused of “hate speech” for posting a Bible verse on Facebook has been found “guilty” of an ethics violation.

The Virginia Association of Realtors ruled on Dec. 11, that Wilson Fauber of Staunton violated the ethics code that prohibits realtors from “certain religious expressions.” Fauber maintains he did nothing wrong and is expected to appeal.

This started to come to light last year when the 70-year-old Fauber, a realtor and pastor, decided to run for Staunton City Council. Long before his decision to run, Fauber had reposted a Scripture from Rev. Franklin Graham on his personal Facebook page in 2015. It stated that homosexual sex is a sin, based on Leviticus 18:22. Then last year, two Staunton realtors, including an openly gay man, filed a complaint with the Virginia Association of Realtors accusing Fauber of “hate speech.”

Israeli Minister in Letter to Pope: ‘Jesus Lived and Died as a Jew’

Following several instances in recent months where Pope Francis appeared to endorse Palestinian narratives, Amichai Chikli, Israel’s Minister for Diaspora Affairs and Combating Antisemitism, issued a strongly worded protest letter to the Pope

Chikli began his letter: “H.H. Pope Francis, Shalom. It is a well-known fact that Jesus was born in the city of Bethlehem, as described in Chapter 2 of the Gospel according to Matthew: ‘Now after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king.’”

The minister’s first argument referenced a nativity scene featuring the baby Jesus lying in a manger draped with a Palestinian keffiyeh that was showcased in St. Peter’s Square in Rome, Italy. After significant backlash, the Vatican chose to remove the display shortly later.
