Street Preachers ‘Slice Through the Lies’ at DNC Protests

While speeches and applause took place inside Chicago’s United Center during the Democratic National Convention last week, chaos often erupted outside. In the midst of it all, a group of Chicago street ministers boldly shared the gospel just outside the security perimeter.

“We went on a day where there were feminists, communists,” said Juan-Elias Riesco who leads “Chicago for Jesus,” a multi-denominational team supported by the city’s Metro Praise International Church.

Riesco added, “When we were communicating with the Communist Revolutionaries of America, we had a great 10-15 minute conversation. We talked about Jesus, and we explained to them that the Bible is way more sufficient than any communist manifesto.”

He continued, “I had the privilege of ministering the gospel to a trans person. I looked at her and said, ‘Did you know that you were fearfully and wonderfully made in the image of God? That God did not design you to be trans but made you perfectly as you are.'”

Their encounters were often impactful—and occasionally shocking.

“So we know things can take a turn for the worst at any time,” Riesco said. “But brother, we believe God has called us to go to these places.”

Morning Rundown: Kim Clement Prophecy: The Joining of Donald Trump and RFK

Here’s a quick rundown of the top stories on :

Kim Clement Prophecy: The Joining of Donald Trump and RFK

Was RFK Jr.’s endorsement of Donald Trump prophesied about years ago?

In a Kim Clement prophecy from Aug. 29, 2009, Clement prophesied that there would be a joining together of Democrats and Republicans, and that this was related to the Kennedys.

“And I will take lawmakers from the Midwest, lawmakers from the Northeast, for what has happened with the Kennedys says the Spirit of God, was spoken of. Now, I will join hands between Democrats and Republicans and do an unusual thing, says the Spirit of God,” Clement prophesied.

Jonathan Cahn: Biblical Prophecies, the Great Falling Away and the End Times

There is a mystery behind the end of days as it was written long ago in the book of Daniel.

In a sermon message recently posted on YouTube, Jonathan Cahn discussed the biblical prophecies written centuries ago in the Book of Daniel and how we are now seeing them come to pass.

Cahn first starts off by discussing Daniel 12:13 which reads, “But as for you, go your way until the end. Then you shall rest and rise again for your lot at the end of the age.”

Anthony Fauci Hospitalized After Catching New Illness

Dr. Anthony Fauci was recently hospitalized after contracting the West Nile virus (WNV), a spokesperson confirmed.

The 83-year-old former director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) was hospitalized for six days but has since returned home and is expected to make a full recovery.

The West Nile virus, which entered the U.S. in 1999, is now the leading cause of mosquito-borne disease in the country, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Can a Vote for Trump Be Morally Justified?

In my 2020 book, “Evangelicals at the Crossroads: Will We Pass the Trump Test?,” I devoted an entire chapter to the question, “Does Character Still Count and Does Morality Still Matter?” Four years later, that question is still relevant, especially for Christian conservatives. They (or, we) cannot possibly vote for Kamala Harris for a host of reasons. But can we, in good conscience, vote for Donald Trump?

Back in 1998, in response to the candidacy of Bill Clinton, the Southern Baptist Convention drafted a resolution in which it was stated clearly that “that moral character matters to God and should matter to all citizens, especially God’s people, when choosing public leaders.”

In keeping with this, the resolution urged “all Americans to embrace and act on the conviction that character does count in public office, and to elect those officials and candidates who, although imperfect, demonstrate consistent honesty, moral purity and the highest character.”

How do we reconcile this with our support for Trump (and I write this as a two-time Trump voter)? Does he, “although imperfect, demonstrate consistent honesty, moral purity and the highest character”? Hardly.

How, then, can we justify our vote for him?

Many have answered, “We’re electing a president, not a pastor (or priest). We’re voting for a commander-in-chief, not a spiritual leader.”

But is this how we felt in the days before Trump? Did we use this same reasoning when Bill Clinton was running for president? Weren’t we saying that character counted and morality mattered? And haven’t we been known as “Values Voters”? What “values” would those be? Didn’t we once call ourselves the “moral majority”?

The SBC resolution stated, “Tolerance of serious wrong by leaders sears the conscience of the culture, spawns unrestrained immorality and lawlessness in the society, and surely results in God’s judgment.” Do we still believe that today? Or have our own consciences become seared?

Breaking News. Spirit-Filled Stories. Subscribe to Charisma on YouTube now!

The resolution also affirmed “that moral character matters to God and should matter to all citizens, especially God’s people, when choosing public leaders.” But today, when concerned Christians point to Trump’s questionable morality, they are called legalists or shortsighted or religious or worse. What has happened to our moral convictions?

The book of Proverbs warns us about the deadly power of the tongue and about the damage a “fool” can do through his or her words. (In Proverbs, a “fool” refers to someone who is morally bankrupt rather than someone who is intellectually challenged.) The last thing a nation wants is a “fool” for its president (or king).

Why, then, vote for Trump?

When pressed further on this issue, the answer would sound something like this:

We still believe that character counts and morality matters, but things have become so extreme in America that we have to elect a street fighter, someone who stands up for our cause—not just for our good, but for the good of the generations to come.

In short, the battle we are fighting is an existential one, with our most fundamental liberties under attack. And, many of us reason, Trump, with all his shortcomings, is the best man for the job.

As Tucker Carlson said in December 2019, “If you’re wondering why so many Christians have been willing to support this president despite his personal life, this is why: It’s because whatever his flaws, he’s made it clear that he’s not the enemy of Christians.” Many a Trump supporter would say, “Precisely so!”

In harmony with these sentiments, when Franklin Graham was asked why he talked about politics more than his father did, he responded, “When my daddy was a child, they read the Bible in school.” (While I do not have the exact citation for this quote, a senior staff member of Graham confirmed its accuracy.) How things have changed!

But can we really look to Trump to fight for the things that are important for us? On Friday, Aug. 23, he posted on Truth Social that if he is reelected, his “administration will be great for women and their reproductive rights.”

What? Here is an allegedly pro-life candidate using the misleading rhetoric of the pro-abortion camp (speaking of “reproductive rights” rather than the so-called right to abortion) and promising this “right” to women.

Talk about a deep betrayal of our values, also reflected in the GOP’s gutted 2024 platform, where the pro-life plank is virtually gone and all opposition to same-sex “marriage” has completely disappeared.

How, then, can Christian conservatives justify their vote for Trump?

Many would still argue that, despite his caving in on some of the issues most important to us and despite his many glaring character weaknesses, he will still do a better job on the economy, on securing our borders, on standing with Israel, on standing up to our international enemies. And so, overall, balancing out the pros and the cons, Trump is the better choice.

This could well be true.

But let’s stop pretending Trump is someone he isn’t. The cards are on the table for all to see.

In the end, though, it may all come down to this: A vote for Trump is, more than anything, a vote against Harris.

So, we can vote for Trump without being enamored by him, without being his defenders or apologists, and without being unrealistic in our expectations.

And if we do choose to vote for him, a choice that the vast majority of Christian conservatives will make, we must remember to keep our focus on Jesus and the gospel and to be sure that, to the extent Trump’s character deficiencies are a negative example, we distance ourselves from those deficiencies while setting the bar high in our lives and conduct.

We can vote for him without becoming like him.

Do you know you’re stronger than you realize? Do you know God has placed a holy determination inside you—an ability to face things that come your way and never give up?

We all have dreams, and we all experience times in life when we are tempted to quit. Or we say a quick prayer and hope everything will somehow magically change. But just wishing for things or situations in life to get better or to be different does not bring change or results.

What makes a difference is setting aside all distractions, opposition from the enemy, reasons why “it can’t work” and whatever else is keeping us from victory. We must also decide that when God says something can happen—when He’s given us a dream or a vision for our lives—it’s our job to agree and allow Him to empower us to see it happen.

We’ve all been frustrated by life’s outcome. We’ve all experienced hurt. We’ve all gone through pain, stress, trials and adversity. We all have had moments when it felt as though life was pressing against us. And the truth is—whether things are good for you or difficult right now—there will be seasons when life seems to be pressing in on you. That’s not going to change.

On this side of heaven, we don’t to choose whether or not we’ll be free from pain. But that doesn’t mean we’re helpless. You don’t have to sit back and let life happen to you.

No, God’s given you something amazingly powerful: He’s given you His strength and power, which can help you overcome and press through any issue you face.

4 Factors That Secured Trump’s Path to the White House

Charisma Media founder Stephen Strang’s exclusive interview with Donald Trump provided a rare glimpse into the convictions and heart of the former Democrat and New York real estate tycoon turned Republican firebrand. Citing guidance and wise counsel from leading Evangelical leaders including Franklin Graham and Paul White, Trump spoke candidly about serving the American people while in office, specifically American families, Christians and supporters of Israel, among others.

Here are four main edifying topical areas revealing Trump’s core principles driving his devotion to serving our country, that he discussed with Charisma.

1. Religious Liberty and Evangelical Support

“Religious liberty is the foundation—without religious liberty, you don’t have liberty,” Trump tells Charisma’s Strang, demonstrating his view that it is foundational to freedom. Trump reassures evangelicals and Catholics he will get the job done, after they felt they had been under attack by previous administrations, particularly regarding pro-life and marriage beliefs. Trump plans to repeal the Johnson Amendment, restricting churches and ministries from political engagement while maintaining tax-exempt status. He believes religious leaders should be free to express their views without fear of loss.

2. Strong Family Values and Personal Guidance

Trump spoke about his strong bond with his adult children, attributing their success to his consistent guidance, especially in avoiding drugs and similar temptations. He also touched on the importance of loyalty, noting his close relationships with spiritual leaders, Graham and White among others, who supported him from the beginning of his political journey. He values loyalty and guidance from those who have been with him through thick and thin, particularly in matters of faith.

3. Israel and Alliance with the U.S. and the West

Trump reaffirmed his strong support for Israel, noting his personal connection to Israel through his Jewish son-in-law. Setting his positions apart from the Obama administration, Trump believes in being a strong ally of Israel, which resonates with evangelical Christians who hold pro-Israel views.

4. Immigration Policies and National Security

For national policy on immigration, Trump affirms his view that immigration is a good thing for any country, when in an orderly, lawful manner, “I think that’s good, but we have to be careful,” pointing to conflict and turbulence affecting several European countries in recent years, singling out both Germany and France. Trump cites the lack of proper documentation and potential security threats posed by unvetted immigrants.

As pointed out in Strang’s recent book, Spirit-Led Living in an Upside-Down World, the world has grown more chaotic in the first years of the new century, but God’s wisdom remains timeless, trustworthy and applicable to every moment of our lives. Trump’s key points sum up his respect for religious liberty, family values, strong ties with Israel and responsibility in the role of president as he charts a vision for the future for a healthy and strong United States and a free, prosperous and free world.

To pre-order Jonathan Cahn’s newest book, “The Dragon’s Prophecy,” visit .

Cahn notes how there is a link between the archangel Michael and Israel in this part of Scripture. He also says that this will be a time of great distress for the Jewish people.

“Distress will come as has never occurred. The end days will be a time of distress and it will also be a time when the Jewish people are in the middle of distress,” Cahn says.

“The end times will be a time of polarization,” Cahn continues. “The end times will be a separation, a very dramatic separation between good and evil. The good and the righteous and the evil. It’s a very important principle because we’re watching it.”

Breaking News. Spirit-Filled Stories. Subscribe to Charisma on YouTube now!

Cahn relates these passages to the Great Falling Away, which is guaranteed to happen in the latter days as people turn toward their own wicked ways and far from the truth of God’s Word. The end times also encompass a revival of God pouring out His Spirit on people everywhere.

Cahn also points out the shifting of morality in today’s culture is one that we see as each year less and less people identify as Christians.

“There’s never been a change of morality this fast, globally, ever. It’s like the undoing of the gospel when it came to this civilization,” Cahn says.

Cahn further says that the fourth beast described in Daniel just may be pointing to the artificial things we have grown accustomed to in our day and age.

“…it’s the only one that has metal in it. It’s like unnatural. It’s artificial. When it’s described in Daniel it says this creature…was diverse or it was altered. In other words, end times civilization will be different from everything before it. The first creatures are all animal forms, but this one is beyond. And so, it’s saying the end times civilization, the last days civilization will be unnatural,” says Cahn.

Nurse Sounds Alarm on Spiritual Warfare Targeting Our Kids

Vanessa Sivadge, a nurse formerly with Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston, Texas, is sounding the alarm, again, about the dangers children are facing at the hands of the medical establishment.

For years now, doctors and nursing staff have been bringing in massive amounts of money from gender-affirming care for minors, aka child mutilation and sterilization.

After exposing TCH and the Medicaid fraud that was being committed in the name of these procedures on minors, Sivadge was fired and exposed as a whistleblower, and even received a visit from the federal government.

Breaking News. Spirit-Filled Stories. Subscribe to Charisma on YouTube now!

This all occurred after her request for a transfer on religious grounds was denied.

In a statement to The Christian Post, Sivadge says, “I am a Christian, and my faith is the foundation of everything. That’s the reason why I’ve spoken out as I have.”

Order Stephen E. Strang’s “Spirit-Led Living in an Upside-Down World” on !

And spoken out she has. In an exclusive report sent to political activist and author Christopher Rufo, she detailed how the FBI sent agents to her house in an attempt to threaten and intimidate her for her role in exposing TCH.

“I never thought that [my identity] would come to light, and that I would be ultimately visited by the federal government, wanting to intimidate me into silence,” she told The Christian Post.

“And so I think that instead of investigating medical institutions and organizations—in my case, a hospital—for wrongdoing and for illegal activity, the federal government was weaponized to come after people exposing crime and whistleblowers like me,” she continued.

“And so that’s egregious. It’s something I never imagined in a million years would happen to me.”

But this is more than just a culture war taking place, this is a spiritual war according to Sivadge.

“Ephesians 5 says to have nothing to do with the worthless deeds of evil and darkness but instead expose them, and that everything exposed by the light becomes visible,” Sivadge said to CP.

“So that was really the foundation and the motivation for me to do what I’ve done, to speak out like I have. Because we have, I believe, a responsibility as Christians to bring to light what’s been done in the darkness,” she continued.

For years the Nicaraguan government has targeted Roman Catholic leaders who have taken a stand against human rights abuses in the country. 89-Year-Old Woman Convicted of Crime for Shocking Reason

An elderly survivor of a Soviet-era concentration camp was among the seven convicted this month for blocking access to an abortion clinic in a northern suburb of Detroit.

In a press release published Tuesday, the U.S. Department of Justice announced that 89-year-old Eva Edl and six other defendants were found guilty for their involvement on Aug. 27 in a “blockade of a reproductive health care clinic in Sterling Heights, Michigan.”

Edl was forced into a concentration camp as a child in the 1940s by Yugoslavian dictator Josip Broz Tito, a communist, before ultimately fleeing to the United States.

The defendants were convicted of a felony conspiracy against rights — a statute originally intended to be used against the vigilantism of the Ku Klux Klan — and a violation of the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act. A sentencing hearing is forthcoming.

In addition to Edl, the jury convicted Chester Gallagher, Heather Idoni, Joel Curry, Justin Phillips, Cal Zastrow as well as his daughter, Eva Zastrow. The conspiracy charge alone could result in a 10-and-a-half-year prison sentence for each defendant.

The charges against the seven defendants were born out of a peaceful protest, where the group stood outside the Northland Family Planning Clinic in Sterling Heights, Michigan, alongside other pro-lifers. Edl and Idoni were additionally convicted for their participation in a pro-life protest at the Women’s Health Clinic in Saginaw, Michigan.

Edl credited her faith in God for giving her the strength to endure the trial and noted that suffering for Jesus’ sake is spiritually refining her.
