Twenty-three years ago today, the world stood still as we witnessed the horrific events of September 11, 2001. Nearly 3,000 people died, but, as the ashes settled, the people of America rose up, forsaking political and ideological allegiances, and choosing to love their neighbors as themselves.

Memorial services are being held across America today, marking the anniversary of those 9/11 terrorist attacks.

Both Vice President Harris and former President Trump are attending observances at the World Trade Center site in New York and the Flight 93 National Memorial in Pennsylvania.

A flag was already unfurled at the Pentagon which was also one of the targets on that terrible day. First responders on the scene saluted the flag.

‘Son of God’ Pastor Arrested for Wicked Sex Crimes

A pastor was arrested after being caught up in a weeks-long stand-off with police officers.

As the BBC reported, police have been trying to arrest Filipino pastor Apollo Quiboloy after he was charged with crimes of sex trafficking, coercion and fraud. The Western Journal noted how Quiboloy had “sex with women and underage girls who faced threats of abuse and ‘eternal damnation’ unless they catered to [him].”

Quiboloy claimed to be the “appointed son of God,” using his role of authority for evil. His ministry, Kingdom of Jesus Christ, is reported to have between 6-7 million followers. The ministry is said to have locations in 200 locations. Part of the crimes Quiboloy committed included trafficking children from the Philippines to America, where the BBC says they were “forced to solicit money for a bogus charity.”MR

Joseph Z Exposes the Dark Side of Modern Prophecy

n the dynamic world of modern Christian ministry, prophecy remains one of the most powerful yet misunderstood spiritual gifts. He adds that this behavior can deceive believers and lead them away from the truth. “People begin to rely on prophets more than they rely on Jesus or the Bible, and that’s a problem.”

As the disciples beseech Jesus to tell them of the signs before His return in Matthew 24, He tells them what to look for, and who to be wary of during the end times. But most importantly, according to Bevere, Jesus says four times that we are not to be deceived.

“You’ve heard me probably say it before, ‘there’s only one problem with ‘s deceiving,” Bevere says. “It’s deceiving. The person that’s deceived believes with all their heart they’re right, when in reality, they’re wrong. That’s so scary. In other words, they are self-fooled.”

Bringing this deception is one of the greatest threats facing those in need of salvation: false teachers.

“Jesus is not the only one that warns about false teachers,” Bevere explains. “Every writer in the New James. Now James warns about deception, but he doesn’t warn about false teachers. Every single one of them, warned about false teachers.”

There are false teachers in the world today, Bevere warns, and it is imperative that Christians are able to identify them. According to Bevere, this must be done without turning into a “watchdog” or somebody who gets tunnel vision and only looks out for false teachers. These individuals have become known as “heresy hunters” who often fail to grow the kingdom in their search for their next clickbait video.

Discipleship is the key to not becoming a watchdog according to Bevere. “When a counterfeit comes in, if I train you how to recognize a counterfeit $100 bill, do I need to be next to you when that fake $100 bill comes into your hand?” Bevere asks. “No, I don’t need to be there, do I? What I taught you, the way I trained you, it taught you how to recognize it for yourself.”

According to Bevere, there are three categories in which teachers are placed:

• True teachers that are on the right path.
• True teachers who are off course but receive correction humbly.
• False teachers who are not humble or teachable, and cannot be corrected.

Bevere has seen leaders fall over the years. Leaders that were at one point on the right path, but all fell and left the ministry when they demonstrated their inability to be taught and corrected in their behaviors. This highlights the necessity for not just leaders but all Christians to develop a humble heart, because as the Bible says, “…God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble,” (James 4:6).

Until she debated Donald Trump this week in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Vice President Kamala Harris had only done one interview since President Joe Biden endorsed her on July 21 as his choice for the Democratic ticket. It’s been hard to determine her positions on issues because she hasn’t done press conferences—and leading up to the debate she flip-flopped on several topics.

Maybe some people don’t care what a candidate’s positions are as long as they are affiliated with their chosen party. But I want to know where a politician stands on issues such as crime, taxation, national security, inflation, education, and the health and welfare of our kids. I also want to know about a candidate’s faith—not because I’m expecting my president to be a pastor, but because I believe a candidate’s religion says a lot about their moral values.

So when I searched for information about Harris’ faith, I discovered that other people have said much more about it than she has. The vice president has tiptoed carefully through the minefield of public scrutiny of her religion. Her faith is, in fact, a mixture of many—Hinduism, Christianity and Judaism. Here’s what we know:

— Harris’ mother, Shyamala Gopalan, was born in India, and she introduced her daughter to her Hindu faith. In fact, Kamala’s name (which means “lotus”) is a reference to Sri-Lakshmi, the Hindu goddess of good fortune. Shyamala also met Martin Luther King Jr. once when she was a graduate student at Berkeley.

— The vice president’s Jamaican father, Donald Harris, worked as a professor at Stanford University, and he considered himself a Baptist. When Kamala was a child, a neighbor took her to a Baptist church in Oakland, California. In her 2019 memoir, “These Truths We Hold,” Harris said her earliest memories of the Bible’s teachings “were of a loving God, a God who asked us to speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves and to defend the rights of the poor and needy.”

— While living in San Francisco, California, Harris began to attend Third Street Baptist Church, a liberal American Baptist congregation pastored by civil rights leader Amos C. Brown. He is on the extreme side of liberal Protestantism. He testified against the ratification of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas in 1991, and he has been an outspoken advocate for gay marriage, marijuana legalization and reparations for Black Americans. Over the years, Brown’s far-Left views have triggered opposition from other Black clergy, especially because of his pro-LGBTQ+ stance.

The tomb was previously opened in 1914. The group of Discalced Carmelite nuns, priests and monks made the decision to open it back up to “study the relics of St. Teresa’s heart, hand and arm,” according to Fox News.

Catholic News Agency reported how the opening of St. Teresa’s tomb was compared to the 1914 opening of the coffin.

“The parts uncovered, which are the face and the foot, are the same as they were in 1914,” Father Marco Chiesa said. “There is no color, there is no skin color, because the skin is mummified, but you can see it, especially the middle of the expert doctors can see Teresa’s face almost clearly.”

This comes after last year’s “Missouri Miracle,” where experts found a nun’s body from 2019 that had not decomposed. According to Fox, the nun, Whilhelmina, was not embalmed at the time of her death.

These unusual discoveries are certainly a strange occurrence most of us never would have expected to see happen.

One of the first things to do to rid your home of the paranormal is to make sure you don’t have items inside of it that call attention to demonic activity.

“People oftentimes will bring in things that are demonic and they think it’s innocent. Maybe this is a dream catcher, maybe this is a fortune telling book, maybe this is tarot cards, maybe this is a Ouija board. These items invite demons into your home,” Saldivar says.

Spending time doing unbiblical actions like New Age practices with burning sage will also attract demons into your home. Saldivar further advises staying away from negative talk, bickering and bitter speech because demons are drawn to that type of language.

“First thing, is destroy everything that gives the demons legal right,” Saldivar says.

He also recommends getting some anointing oil and anointing the doorways of your house. Another recommendation is also for a Christian to speak out loud, commanding the demon to leave.

“Verbally command every demon to leave and never return. Don’t be shy about this. The demons can hear you. We’ve got to be bold in our home. Walk every single room, go to your kids’ room, maybe when they’re at school, go to your bedroom when your husband’s at work or whatever, whatever demon you’re fighting, and say, ‘I command the demon to leave in Jesus’ name. Saldivar points out how crucial it is to dedicate your home to the Lord after commanding the demon to leave.

“It’s a simple prayer. ‘Lord, I dedicate this house to you. I want this to be a place where Your Spirit can dwell,'” Saldivar prays.

This goes along with also asking the Lord to fill your home with the Holy Spirit.

“In the same way you ask the Holy Spirit to fill you and to anoint you and to touch you and to fill your family, ask the Holy Spirit, ‘fill my house,'” says Saldivar.

Remember, Jesus gave us His power and authority to do the works He has called us to. This can include taking authority over the very places we call home, so that the Holy Spirit may dwell there and use our homes as a place for miracles, signs and wonders to take place.

Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump will hold a 90-minute debate tonight at 9 p.m. at the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia.

The debate was to have taken place by late July, but President Biden announced July 21, that he was withdrawing from the presidential election. Democrats then aligned behind Vice President Harris ahead of the Democratic National Convention last month in Chicago.

The Harris and Trump camps spent several weeks discussing specifics and rules, finally agreeing to hold the debate Sept. 10.

Moderating the debate will be ABC News anchors David Muir and Linsey Davis. Currently this is the only debate agreed upon and scheduled for the presidential campaign. The vice president debate between Republican J. D. Vance and Democrat Tim Walz is scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 1, in New York City.

Most polls presently show a close presidential race, with each candidate leading by only a few points across various polls. CBN News reports the candidates are tied in the debate site state of Pennsylvania.

The candidates are expected to promote their respective visions for the country, with Harris talking up Democratic party planks from the DNC including relitigating the recently overturned Roe v. wade with further expanded access to abortion, economic recovery, healthcare access and social justice. Expect Harris to continue pushing the growth of ObamaCare, along with ongoing support for LGBTQ+ rights. Lok for Trump to discuss continuations of his policies from his first term, widely regarded to have been a period of economic stability and vigor, just before the pandemic wreaked havoc over the global economy. Trump also will discuss conservative values, strong emphasis on family, education and national security.
