Megachurch Pastor Sees Awakening: ‘There’s a Hunger, Thirst for God’s Presence Right Now’

As the pastor of New Life Church in Colorado Springs, Colorado, Brady Boyd’s life and ministry have been disrupted by COVID-19 as much as anyone’s. But, he says, there is some good that has come from the pandemic.

Boyd says has seen a rekindling of the passion for God among His people during the lockdown, and he believes it will continue to grow when everything “returns to normal.”

“There is an awakening, a hunger and thirst for the presence of God right now,” Boyd told Dr. Steve Greene on a recent episode of Greenelines on the Charisma Podcast Network. “Growing up in Louisiana, my dad always used to say that rain was beneficial, even in the middle of a storm. And I think that we’re feeling the storm clouds, but in the middle of this storm, there is some real beneficial spiritual rain that’s falling on our nation and our world right now. And that’s encouraging to me.

“This has proven to be a catalytic moment for what I believe is the beginning of a great spiritual awakening. My pastor friends around the nation are all saying the same thing, that people are tuning into these online services like never before. As a quick report, last Wednesday night, we have, as we always do, a one-hour prayer meeting at our church that we broadcast live. We had about 130,000 people log in and reach us. That’s insane. I mean, normally we’ll have, when we open the building, 1,000 to 1,500 people show up. But to have 130,000 people online like that …

“We need to keep our heads up and look forward because God is about to do a new thing. I’m not so sure that we’re going to want to go back to the old normal. The new normal, in some ways, is going to be a blessing for all of us. Now that we’re having to sit together and listen to the message, moms and dads are taking back the mantle of spiritual leadership that maybe gave way to a youth pastor or a children’s pastor or a senior pastor. Now that they’ve taken that responsibility and are praying, these families are worshipping together more than ever. They are putting their hands on each other and anointing one another and praying over each other. To me that is a beautiful thing because the home is where God has always intended to do His best work. The power of the home should spill into the church and then out into the world.”

4 Powerful Steps to a Quick Spiritual Breakthrough

Have you been spinning your wheels in one place for a long time? Have you lost the vision you once had for your life? Have you seen your finances, business or ministry begin to decline?

Satan has a plan of containment to stop the advancement of God’s kingdom, and he is always implementing it in some way. We should not be surprised when every forward movement we make for the kingdom is countered by difficulties, obstacles and persecution. The enemy will try to bind us and hold us back. He will confine us to one place, situation or circumstance—in our personal life, our ministry, our business or any other arena where we are actively involved in extending the kingdom.

If you have reached a point in your life where you have come up against an immovable wall, perhaps you think you have done something wrong. It is always important for us to check our motivations and to ask God to reveal anything for which we need to repent. Yet, it may be that Satan has constructed a wall in order to contain the advancement of the kingdom that you are making or are about to make. You can receive a spiritual breakthrough by taking the following steps:

  1. Refuse to tolerate the situation. We must overcome passivity and compliance in our lives if we are to fight back against the enemy. When we become sick and tired of a certain situation—when we realize that enough is enough and we choose not to tolerate the circumstance any longer—we will desperately seek God. We will recognize that we are at the end of our own strength and ability and will rely only on His.
  1. Be filled with righteous indignation. When three Hebrew young men who were living in exile in Babylon were threatened with their lives if they did not practice idol worship, they were filled with holy zeal, and they declared to the king that they would not worship false gods or kneel before the golden image. God rescued them after they were thrown into a fiery furnace, and He also silenced their enemies and gave them favor with the king. (See Dan. 3:13–30.) Similarly, when we are confronted by sickness, financial lack, marital discord, sin, bondage or anything else that threatens to destroy us, then we, too, can be overcomers and receive our breakthroughs by responding in righteous indignation. The enemy knows when we are serious and full of holy zeal.
  2. Exercise “spiritual violence.” When we seek God, and He gives us the spirit of might, or breakthrough anointing, we must begin to push forward what has been contained. We are to become spiritually violent, not physically violent. We are to become angry with the devil and his demons, not with God or other people. Otherwise, our violence will neither be from God nor be holy.

—”From the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force” (Matt. 11:12, NASB).

A more literal translation of this verse might read, “From the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven has been governed by force, and only those in power control it.” God is in control of everything, but He has given us authority and power to exercise dominion in the territory to which He has assigned us.

Why do we need to be “violent” in our governance? Because we are in a constant war with the kingdom of darkness, fighting over who will have dominion over various territories on earth—whether physical places, people or areas of influence. God has given dominion to His people, and dominion is the highest territorial power.

Jesus taught us that to defeat the “strong man,” or Satan, we must bind him. (See, for example, .) We begin to do this is by confessing Jesus Christ as the Lord of our lives, because the phrase “Jesus is Lord” is a territorial expression—the word “Lord” meaning absolute authority and Master.

To establish your authority in any place, you must always declare the name of Jesus.

When we begin to take dominion over a territory where Satan has been ruling, he will fight back. Moreover, when the enemy loses a territory, he will never give up trying to retake it. This is why we must always be alert to his schemes and resist his attacks. (See Luke 11:24–26.) When we received Jesus, He gave us His Spirit, His strength and His supernatural weapons to retake what Satan has stolen from us—establishing the kingdom of God by spiritual force.

If we want a breakthrough, therefore, we must be militant in exercising kingdom principles. This is a spiritual matter, and it applies to all of us—whether our natural personality is to be assertive or quiet. Passivity will leave us spiritually wounded instead of securing our breakthroughs. We must be ruthless with the enemy—he wants to destroy us! Demonic strongholds will tremble and fall away as we push against them in God’s power.

Jesus was the most compassionate man who ever walked the earth, but He was also the most spiritually violent through the power of the Spirit. He was strong and firm, and He never tolerated religiosity, sin, sickness or death. Likewise, God’s spirit of might will come upon us, empowering us to aggressively push past the things that have kept us stagnant.

We can seize and control territory for the kingdom when we have power, but we cannot exercise power unless we are under spiritual authority. This is a kingdom principle. The devil recognizes those who speak with the weight of authority and those who don’t.

If we do not establish God’s authority and submit to His superior rule, we have no legal right to exercise His power. Could it be that we have granted the enemy the legal right to remain because we are not submitted to God and His delegated human authorities? Let us submit to God and advance His kingdom with authority and force.

This is a spiritual matter that applies to all of us—whether our natural personality is to be assertive or quiet.

  1. Offer glorious, spontaneous praise to God. Many people are not producing fruit in various areas of their lives due to a spirit of infertility that is robbing them of expansion and blessing. Each time they are about to find a job, close a business deal, get married or finish an important project, a spirit of barrenness or miscarriage causes them to lose their blessing. The solution to fruitlessness is spiritual breakthrough, and the final step in the process of receiving breakthrough is to offer glorious, spontaneous praise to God (see Isa. 54:1).

Rejoice, give shouts of jubilee, offer God exuberant praise, sing a new song to the Lord! We must praise God in the midst of our pain, even if it seems abnormal to do so. The kingdom principle here is to invade the kingdom of darkness through songs that are inspired by God’s Spirit.

I’m not referring to the regular songs we often sing in church, although we may begin with those songs. I am referring to what I call “sudden bursts” of song. It is not a matter of our singing one song, stopping and expecting the breakthrough but of continuing to sing out loud until the spirit of might comes upon us. We must continue to push against the kingdom of darkness through song because we are in the process of birthing something in the Spirit.

When the spirit of might comes upon us, we will extend to the north, south, east and west. The barriers that were hindering us will be broken down—the limits that were imposed on us will fall. Then, we will expand the kingdom by multiplying our ministries, churches, businesses and gifts. The spirit of might will be upon us to bring forth great breakthroughs. Today is the day of expansion in our lives! {eoa}

Why We Need Strong Prophetic Voices Right Now to Prepare for End Times

In my book Passover, Key to the Book of Revelation, I argue that prophetic ministry will be greatly increased before the coming return of Yeshua. I noted in a recent post that on this present virus situation we have had some accurate prophetic voices and several as well that simply did not measure up.

One I have known for 30 years has a solid prophetic word and described what would happen back in early January before the scientific or political community was predicting the pandemic. However, so many voices were incorrect that they drowned out the quality words.

The plagues of the last days in the book of Revelation will require strong prophetic voices in various regions of the world to give both interpretation of what is happening and direction of what to do. This will require not only accurate and strong prophetic voices, but also a much greater sharpening of God’s people in knowing the Spirit.

This is because, in the New Covenant, we all have the Spirit and are to be prophetic. Our inner man will need to give confirmation of what is spoken. Without a sensitive ability for accurate confirmation, we will be subject to false prophecy. It will be both the track record of accountable prophets and the discernment of God’s people that will be key.

In the last days’ spiritual battles, the level of disinformation and media control will be so great that merely trying to figure out the truth by intellectual pursuit will not be sufficient. Even today in this virus situation, there is much suppression of factual information so that people will only follow the received wisdom of the establishment and the media and social networking companies.

God’s people must have a supernatural source of information and other means of communication to break through the disinformation even when those who spread this disinformation mean well. I think we will find out more about this virus and its treatment that will show how much false information became a consensus. This may prepare us to seek a better way.

The Spirit will be poured out in the last of the last days. There will be a great harvest, and there will be supernatural means to know how to oppose the kingdom of darkness and how to overcome false information. It will be essential. Do obtain my book to encourage you in the battles we will face. {eoa}

How COVID-19 Will Bring a Fresh Move of Holy Spirit

With more than 35 years of experience in management, Russell Helwig knows more than a little bit about encouragement and how important it is for leaders—especially church leaders—to provide that in times of crises.

He knows just how crucial it is for leaders to provide hope for their employees—but more importantly, Christlike hope. And with the COVID-19 pandemic that has struck worldwide, he also knows there isn’t a better time to do it.

“As leaders, we need to stand up and offer people the security, the hope and the understanding that we will get through this,” Helwig told Dr. Steve Greene on a recent episode of Greenelines on the Charisma Podcast Network. “Somewhere down the road, we’re going to reach back and realize that this is going to develop us, make us more mature and help us understand how to appreciate what we have in the moment.

“When we look back in history, when we look back even in the Bible, there were periods when people cried out to God and they asked God for help. They wanted to see the miracles, they wanted to understand where God was in this moment. I believe we’re in a moment like that right now. And I believe it’s deepening the faith of so many people. I hope that people can really connect with Jesus in a unique, fresh way. We all need that.

“I think there is going to be a lot of new, deeper, fresh sermons that come out of this. I really believe that this is a time of spiritual awakening in such a powerful way. I have prayed that the Holy Spirit will come in a fresh, new way into the church, into worship and into our lives so that we have a deeper, more trusting relationship with God, knowing that the Holy Spirit is here every day and is our comforter. … Holy Spirit is coming. It is the presence of the Lord. It’s powerful. You can’t describe it with words.”

Has COVID-19 Caused Us to Slander the Name of Our God?

Our world is a mess right now. I know that in the grand scheme of things our world has been a mess since the days of Adam and Eve. But, in a real sense, the last few months have really been a wake-up call to the body of Messiah about how quickly things around us can change.

The quickness of things changing due to COVID-19 reminded me of when the Berlin Wall fell. Everything in Germany, Europe, and in some ways globally, became different. Before those moments, people believed it could take years, even lifetimes, to see freedoms and unity brought to the divided country of Germany. Yet those who were alive saw it happen in what seemed like minutes.

For those of us who believe what the Bible says, we have been looking for “prophetic meaning” or “end-time” significance in the events taking place following the spread of COVID-19. For a moment, who would have thought that in only a few weeks because of a sickness, we would see restaurants, bars, professional sports, Disney World, and churches and synagogues close their doors to the public based upon government directives?

It makes complete sense that believers in Yeshua (Jesus) would look toward Revelation, Daniel, Ezekiel and other prophetic writings to explain what is taking place around us.

I, however, would like to direct our attention not to one of the books written by seers of the future, but rather to a book written by the apostle Paul to believers of his day—not about what would happen in the future, but about how they were behaving when he wrote this book.

Paul wrote these words in the book of Romans to Jewish believers of his day, but they are just as valid for you and I today.

“For as it is written, ‘the name of God is slandered among the nations because of you'” (Rom. 2:24, TLV).

In Romans 2, Paul is chastising Jewish believers because they were causing G-D’s name to be slandered or profaned by their actions. Another way to say this is that they were living hypocritically.

These Jews claimed they knew the G-D of the Torah and they claimed they lived according to the Torah’s commandments. But they were not doing so. Their actions in disobedience to G-D’s Holy Word not only caused them to be in sin, but it also resulted in the Gentile believers around them sinning because they were following the examples of the Jewish believers.

Paul’s accusation against the Jewish believers is not that they were sinning. No, it was much more than that. Paul said they slandered or profaned G-D’s name.

In Judaism, when we speak of G-D’s name, we are not speaking about the letters that form a word we identify Him by. No, in Judaism when we speak of the name of G-D, we are talking about G-D’s character and nature. When we use His name in vain, it isn’t simply cussing. Our actions and words cause others to see G-D as less than He truly is.

When we show fear, we cause others to see G-D as weak. When we steal, we are telling others G-D cannot provide for us. When we do something idolatrous, we tell people that G-D isn’t the One and only true and living G-D. Every sinful action we take that is seen by either new believers or unbelievers, no matter how small, causes G-D’s name to be profaned.

Paul even asks in Romans 2:19: “and you are sure that you are a guide to the blind, a light to those who are in darkness …”

These verses caused me to consider how I and other believers were responding to the COVID-19 virus and the resulting changes in our lives. Are we walking around in fear? Are we looking toward the government for help instead of G-D? Are we selfishly hoarding goods? Are we causing G-D’s name to be slandered?

The book of Romans isn’t the first place we read about this issue. We find G-D’s warning against this sin all the way back in Leviticus 21, speaking about the priests who were commanded not to profane the name of their G-D.

“They are to be holy to their God, and not profane the Name of their God, for they present the offerings of Adonai made by fire, the bread of their God. Therefore they are to be holy” (Lev. 21:6).

You may wonder why this is relevant to you. After all, Romans was written to Jewish believers and Leviticus was written to the priests of Israel. Well, in 1 Peter 2:9, Peter writes the following about you and I:

“But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, so that you may proclaim the praises of the One who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.”

It is clear that as believers in Yeshua as Messiah, we are all a part of the holy nation and we are a royal priesthood. So, as with the temple priests of old and as with the Jewish believers Paul wrote to in Roman 2, you and I have the responsibility to consider our words and actions, especially during times of crisis.

Are our actions causing those watching us to see our G-D as a weak, wishy washy, poor, inept, uncaring or untruthful god? If so, we are causing those watching us to slander the name of our G-D and we should repent. {eoa}

Are You Running the Race God Set Before You?

Do you remember Timon from the movie Lion King? A funny guy for sure.

Do you remember his famous words from the movie?

“Do you mean there are a bunch of dead guys up there looking down on us?”

There are people looking down on us, but they are not dead. They are more alive now than when they lived on the earth.

“I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.’ God is not the God of the dead, but of the living” (Matt. 22:32).

The Bible says a great cloud of witnesses surrounds us. These are our brothers and sisters who went before us.

We could call them spiritual pioneers. Their message: run.

Run the race set before you.

Yes, we are in a race and God desires that we run with endurance.

Therefore, since we are encompassed with such a great cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight and the sin that so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us. 2 Let us look to Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God (Heb. 12:1-2).

Jesus is the captain of our running team.

Runners avoid extra weight. Serious runners purchase lightweight shoes and the lightest clothing. Christians should also run their spiritual life with a light load. When believers fall into sinful behavior it adds weight to their soul.

The believer is to lay sin and weight aside. For instance, the sin of pornography adds a weight of shame and condemnation on top of the original sin.

The sin represents a moment of failure for Christians. The weight comes after we commit the sin. Shame and condemnation follow the failure of sin. These are heavy weights to carry.

Added weight is a setup for failure for all runners. Extra weight is a detriment to winning a race and steals our endurance to run. Sin steals our enthusiasm and drains our endurance. Our endurance returns when we confess our sin. Confession accesses God’s forgiveness, and repentance brings refreshing.

God says to confess our sin and He will forgive us.

“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:9).

Forgiveness lightens the weight of sin. God offers more than forgiveness when we confess or repent. He cleanses us. This cleansing is the cleansing of the soul. We can say the cleansing removes the weight of sin from our soul.

The Finish Line

Every runner in a race knows the exact location of the finish line. Even when the finish line is not in their eyesight, their focus is on the finish point.

The believer in Christ also has a finish line. We finish our Christian race because Jesus is the author and finisher of our faith. This means our race begins at salvation and ends when our time on earth is done—the finish line.

We start our race with Jesus and we end our race with the prize of heaven.

Jesus started it, and Jesus finished it.

“Let not your heart be troubled. You believe in God. Believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many dwelling places. If it were not so, I would have told you. I am going to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, you may be also. You know where I am going, and you know the way” (John 14:1-4).

Shame Conquered

Jesus despised the shame and endured the cross. Jesus endured as shame tried to get Him to stop running the race. Did Jesus model endurance for us? Yes.

Then Jesus ran toward the joy. Jesus also had a finish line: sitting at the right hand of God and dying for you and me. And removing our sin and shame.

The shame of sin is a heavy weight. Sin requires repentance. Repentance is a confession by a believer who has failed God. God forgives and removes the sin of those who repent. This is good news.

The grim news is that shame lingers.

Shame is a constant reminder that we fail God and fall short of His standard. The cross removed the penalty of sin and the power of shame. Jesus took “all shame” on the cross and all sin.

This was excruciating for Jesus to endure. We must remember Jesus took our sin and shame on the cross.

The cross is the power of God unto salvation, but it was not the finish line for Jesus. His finish line was sitting next to His Father and the joy set before Him. The joy that Jesus experienced was the joy of dying for you and me.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life (John 3:16).

Jesus is the Alpha and Omega. The beginning and the end.

The finish line for us is everlasting life.

That is our hope for you.

For whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved (Rom. 10:13). {eoa}

Why the Church Needs to Stop Compromising and Burn for Jesus

Tammie Southerland freely admits that, for a period of time in her life, she once succumbed to the enemy’s lies and her passion for Jesus began to wane. But once it was rekindled, she rediscovered her kingdom calling, and her passion for Christ hasn’t wavered since.

And that’s why it breaks Southerland’s heart to see a great portion of the church living in compromise to the world these days. The leader of Frontline Ministries International and the host of the Voice of The Burning Ones Podcast on the Charisma Podcast Network, Southerland’s desire is to help lead believers out of that compromised lifestyle and into a holy hunger and completely surrendered relationship with Christ.

Her podcast includes interviews with prophetic, powerful voices who live to gaze on the beauty of Jesus.

“It says in 2 Thessalonians that the great falling away happens because of the lack of love for the truth,” Southerland told Dr. Steve Greene on a recent episode of the Greenelines podcast on CPN. So, one of the things we are seeing these days in the church is that our love has grown cold for the truth of the Word of God.

“I remember when I was a student in college, The Passion of the Christ was being shown during that season. And a big statement that we made with our campus ministry was the week we posed the question, ‘What is truth?’ There were so many different answers to that question. So many students and adults alike said truth is relative, but the truth is the Word of God, and so we had this challenge in our generation to compromise.

“Truth isn’t relative to what we feel or what we think. Jesus is the truth. He is the way and He is the life. And so, some areas of compromise that we’ve walk in as a generation is opening our hearts and our minds to other ‘so-called truths’ or other facts that don’t line up with the Word of God.

“In Revelation 2, Jesus tells the church that they have left their first love. I think one of our biggest areas of compromise in the body is our compromise of the love of Jesus. We have other lovers besides Christ, and we walk away from Him as our first love. What scares me the most is that when many come to Him, they will say, ‘we’ve cast out demons, we’ve healed the sick and we’ve brought deliverance to the nation.’ But He will look at them and say, ‘depart from me; I never knew you.’ So, that intimacy with Him is so important. We can’t compromise when it comes to Him knowing us and us knowing Him.”

Touching Christian Film Tells Tale of Modern-Day Prodigal Son

Nick Kellis wouldn’t exactly label himself as a prodigal son, like the main character in the movie he wrote, A Walk with Grace. But there are very similar elements between the movie and his life, elements he hopes will move others to strengthen their relationship with Christ.

Kellis spent 20 years in Los Angeles before returning to his hometown of Lima, Ohio, and says he has found redemption in his faith, even through the death of his mother, whom he lost to cancer. A Walk with Grace is the story of a modern-day prodigal son who returned home to confront his broken past.

“I always circle back to community. I think that’s always been so important to me when I was gone,” Kellis told Dr. Steve Greene on a recent episode of Greenelines on the Charisma Podcast Network. “I missed it. But I also think in times of trouble, you clamp down on community and your faith. It’s really what you have—family, community and faith—not necessarily in that order. It’s what you have in a time like this.

“In the movie, the main character, Nate, gets put to task through this wonderful character, Grace, and he is brought back to face his past and do what is right instead of compromising, as he had done most of his life. The message of the film is amazing. With God’s help, the world can indeed be a better place.”

Prophecy: God Is Knocking on the Door During Your Quarantine

During my morning prayer broadcast, the Lord showed me many people have laid things down in the past season even though they were great ideas—God ideas. Many didn’t steward the innovation well.

Many couldn’t see it through to the end because life caught them up in the rat race, drama caught them up—all kinds of distractions caught them up.

If that’s you, let this prophetic word encourage your heart. I heard the Lord say:

“My Spirit will catch you up in this season if you’ll take the time to spend with Me. You will be in the Spirit like John the Revelator, and I will put forth invitations to your heart and show you things to come. Have I not promised that My Spirit would show you things to come? I will do it in this season if you’ll take a step back—if you’ll change your purview. If you’ll climb a little higher, you’ll see things differently.

“But your vista will not change if you do not change your position. And your position needs to be one of prayer. Your posture needs to be one of worship. Some of you need to get on your face and stop looking at anything around you, but just look at Me. Get on your face, with your nose to the ground, with your eyes shut tight, and just begin to gaze upon My beauty. I will show you things to come.

“This is your invitation. I am knocking on your door. Why don’t you answer Me? Oh, you think that you are waiting for Me to answer you, but I am waiting for you to answer Me. For I am knocking on your door. I am knocking on your door. I am knocking on your door. Will you answer?

“I will come in, and I will sup with you, and I will roll out a new strategy. I will lay out the plan for the next stage of your life, and you will leap out of the quarantine and into the kairos time. But you’ve got to answer the door! {eoa}

High-Profile Prophets Release Words of Knowledge About COVID-19 and America’s Future

With COVID-19 restrictions still intact, several high-profile prophets in the body of Christ recently convened on a videoconference call to release words of knowledge that have recently been imparted to them.

The call included Generals International’s Cindy and Mike Jacobs, Bishop Bill Hamon, Chuck Pierce, James Goll, Dutch Sheets, Will Ford, Becca Greenwood, Rick Ridings, Steven Springer, and apostles Tom and Jane Hamon.

Please watch the video for the entire words of knowledge given. Here are some excerpts from that video call:

Bishop Bill Hamon:

God is going to be expecting us, the church, to give answers and the world is looking to us for answers, not condemnation. That’s what the prophets of old did. I’ve been telling people for weeks now that God told me that those who stand true, strong with faith and courage, and are moving in the Lord that God is going to mark them to declare and magnify the glory of the Lord. We’re going to see God’s glory like never before.

I know the world is listening and the church is listening, and I believe we can be a blessing to the church today. … What the prophets are saying is a little different than what the world’s speculators are saying, gloom and doom.

James Goll:

I had a prophetic dream. I had a blueprint that was handed to me. I unfurled the scroll and it’s a blueprint to build an ark. So, then, I and seven others started to build an ark, and people are getting the word out that an ark of His presence is being built, a replica. So people started coming, and the blueprint began to be multiplied out to scores—hundreds and thousands of people. Many then were building arks of His presence. I woke up out of the dream and imprinted upon my heart was a word, and it said “As it was in the days of Noah.” So, I have been left pondering that particular issue.

As it was in the days of Noah. I had negativity and fear, an aspect I didn’t know I had. I have now identified that as an ungodly belief. As it was in the days of Noah, the ark was for protection, for provision, for preservation. The ark was for His presence, the dove of God, to release the dove, and the ark was for the new promise. As it was in the days of Noah, we’re going into an entire new era of history after the storm. Noah and his family were in the ark for about a year. God gave provision in the storm; He gave protection from the storm; He gave preservation in the storm. The presence of God was released to the world to carry a people from one era to the next.

Chuck Pierce:

I began to look at the timeframe we’re heading into. I started looking at that in August of last year. … We’re in a census time, and by Passover, we’ll be in some plague-like condition. … Passover was linked to an economic shift. In the Old Testament, Egypt had to give back what they had taken from God’s people in that land. So, I thought, are we coming into a greed season or a transfer of wealth season. I began to study that very intently. I said to the Lord, “You have to show me exactly what You are doing.” I began linking our timeframe back to China. … China has been a focus for me since the 1980s.

I started watching China very carefully. I was told to watch these nations—China, Korea and Israel, as well as our own, very carefully. There would be government crisis, economic crisis. There was gong to be political crisis that would overwhelm us if we didn’t watch carefully. This Passover word kept drawing me to the economic shift when this pandemic hit, coming out of China. … James said, “Lord, You have really ordained a time to reset us. It will have grave consequences for some; it’s going to cause the nations to be threshed. It’s going to cause a move of the Spirit of God like we’ve never seen, and one of the groups having the hardest time to adjust to this is the church.”

Dutch Sheets:

I’m seeing a very clear thread. The Lord gave me an assignment to go to Valley Forge, Pennsylvania. As you remember from history, Washington and his troops endured a very difficult winter at Valley Forge, difficult winter. They experienced a plague and 2,000 soldiers died. It was a do-or-die place for the American army, and the outcome of the war depended on their survival. They did persevere; they survived. But they also improved. It was at Valley Forge that God brought greater discipline, coordination and character to the army. Had that not happened, they would have not won the war.

It was very prophetic that this was called the place of the forge. Valley Forge was named after the forge, where through heat and fire people shaped metal. You get it hot in the forge. So, our nation was forged in a literal way. In a dream, I was told to take a team to Valley Forge and that angels in reserve were there that need to be released. Others joined us. We prayed from there and it was good because I knew God was leading us. On my way home, the prophet called me to another dream and said the same angels that helped Washington during the Revolution needed to be released now. In the dream, it said, “Convene the blacksmiths, and tell them it’s time to shape and turn the plowshares back into swords.” Read Joel 3:10 to find out: “Beat your plowshares into swords and your pruning hooks into spears; let the weakling say, ‘I am a warrior.'” I knew the Lord was saying to us that the warfare is going to intensify going forward.
