How This Woman Beat Satan’s Overwhelming Odds and Became a World Changer

It would have been easy for Jenine May’s life to have become a simple statistic. She grew up in one of the worst neighborhoods in inner-city Detroit, an area plagued by crime, drugs and murder. Some of her friends became fatal victims of their surroundings.

Her parents were both alcoholics, and her dad died of cirrhosis of the liver when she was only 10 years old. May experienced sexual and physical abuse and, through her mother, the demonic spiritual realm.

The odds were against her—but God. Now, as a born-again believer for nearly three decades, May serves the Lord as a pastor/teacher at True Worship Church in Detroit. She owns her own publishing group and is a speaker and advocate for women who have suffered from domestic violence and abuse.

May’s testimony will open your eyes—and touch your heart.

“The perseverance that was deep in me, the faith to trust God through the midst of it all, has really been the foundation of who I am today,” May told Dr. Steve Greene on a recent episode of Greenelines on the Charisma Podcast Network. “I love every minute of pastoring. I love my people.

“I have my own publishing company, so in publishing I help other people publish their books, and it’s just as much a passion as it is a calling for me. I flow in the gift of teaching, the prophetic gift, a wisdom, a gift of knowledge.

“It really excites me to be used by God, to really have my gifts activated and really show people, especially unbelievers, that there is a real God, especially when you operate in the gift of knowledge or the gift of prophecy. They actually get a confirmation that God is real and that they can have those experiences where God can use them too. It’s not about me; it’s about God in me who is doing the work.”

Chuck Pierce: The Key to Moving Back Into Increase After COVID-19

The COVID-19 epidemic has wreaked havoc on the global economy, our national economy, and most people’s personal finances. So now that we are through the worst of it, we are left with a yawning question: How will we move back into increase after restrictions from the field have lifted?

Throughout the current economic crisis caused by the COVID-19 epidemic, the Lord has showed me many keys to moving back into increase, including “tightening my belt”—i.e., learning to live on less—but one of the most significant keys is creative giving. We must not give haphazardly during the changes ahead but purposefully. The poor will always be with us, but we must never lose our compassion to give of what we have been given to increase the life flow of others. We must develop ways to keep transforming the societal structure around us.

When this viral crisis began to produce many restrictions, my first thought was, “How will the many widows that we minister to be taken care of?” Currently we have about 340 widows that we watch after and try to give to quarterly. We are always available to them if they have needs. I knew that I needed to write a letter to each widow and send them an offering to help alleviate the need for them to go in and out of their homes as much during a time of quarantine. When we send to every widow at one time, that is a considerable amount of money. I refused to allow any sort of fear to attack my mind over the future but knew that if I would just bless the widows, we would be blessed.

God is bringing us through some hard times. He wants you to know He is with you and has a plan for your life. The best is yet ahead! Never give in to defeatism. A good example of this comes from 2 Kings 4. This chapter contains a story of a woman in debt and crisis after the death of her husband.

A certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets cried out to Elisha, saying, ‘Your servant my husband is dead, and you know that your servant feared the Lord. And the creditor is coming to take my two sons to be his slaves.’ So Elisha said to her, ‘What shall I do for you? Tell me, what do you have in the house?’ And she said, ‘Your maidservant has nothing in the house but a jar of oil.’ Then he said, ‘Go, borrow vessels from everywhere, from all your neighbors—empty vessels; do not gather just a few. And when you have come in, you shall shut the door behind you and your sons; then pour it into all those vessels, and set aside the full ones.’ So she went from him and shut the door behind her and her sons, who brought the vessels to her; and she poured it out. Now it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she said to her son, ‘Bring me another vessel.’ And he said to her, ‘There is not another vessel.’ So the oil ceased. Then she came and told the man of God. And he said, ‘Go, sell the oil and pay your debt; and you and your sons live on the rest’ (2 Kings 4:1–7, NKJV).

The prophet Elisha showed this woman a kingdom principle: the principle of multiplication. Elisha asked the widow, “What can I do for you?” The Lord is still asking this question today. God had a plan to bring this widow into His blessing and to meet the deepest desires of her heart, and He has the same goal for you.

In Mark 6:32–44 we find a similar story, in which Jesus had compassion on a large crowd. He had been teaching them many things, and when it grew late in the day, He told His disciples to give them something to eat.

“But He answered and said to them, ‘You give them something to eat.’ And they said to Him, ‘Shall we go and buy two hundred denarii worth of bread and give them something to eat?’ But He said to them, ‘How many loaves do you have? Go and see.’ And when they found out they said, ‘Five, and two fish.’ Then He commanded them to make them all sit down in groups on the green grass. So they sat down in ranks, in hundreds and in fifties. And when He had taken the five loaves and the two fish, He looked up to heaven, blessed and broke the loaves, and gave them to His disciples to set before them; and the two fish He divided among them all. So they all ate and were filled. And they took up twelve baskets full of fragments and of the fish. Now those who had eaten the loaves were about five thousand men” (Mark 6:37–44).

When God asks, “What can I do for you?” He’s saying He wants to bless you. In Romans 8:32 Paul tells us, “If God loved you enough to send His own Son to die for you, there’s no good thing that He will withhold” (author’s paraphrase). The word blessing means to cause to increase. A curse brings decrease, while a blessing brings increase. If we are walking in God’s blessing, we should always be increasing. To increase is to prosper.

During the Dark Ages most of the church bought into the philosophy of asceticism, which said that God is happier when we are poor. Those who wanted to please God were told to take a vow of poverty. But that philosophy is not in the Bible. Almost all the people we read about in God’s Word were prosperous. Abraham was one of the wealthiest men in the land. Isaac, Jacob, and Joseph prospered as well. David, Daniel, and Paul were great men of God, and they were successful.

God wants you to be successful as well. He wants you to prosper and succeed in everything He has called you to do. That is His will, and that is His promise. You are not to worship money or let it control your life—the love of money will always get you in trouble. But God is not against money! He doesn’t want His children to walk in poverty and His church to be hindered by lack. If you learn how to give, you will put yourself in a position to receive His blessing and favor on your life. {eoa}

Prophetic Word Over Wales: Voices Rising in Europe

As part of the Awakening Digital World Tour, we stopped in Wales. I spent a good deal of time in Wales in the city where Evan Roberts launched the Welsh Revival. We also walked the streets of Cardiff.

I was taken aback by much of what I saw. Revival has more than waned in Wales, yet there is a root of awakening and God is looking for intercessors to water that root. I heard the Lord say:

“Wales, oh Wales, I am calling you back to destiny.

“For I ordained you as a revival fire starter among the European nations. I have called you to pick up the mantle of Evan Roberts and begin to pray without ceasing again. I have called you to put aside the rebellion and the ways of the world and be an example of a burning, shining lamp, a forerunner for a new awakening in Europe.

“I will call other forerunners alongside you to pray with and for you as you take your place in the lampstand. I will give you strategies to penetrate the darkness that is invading Europe, and you will be a leader among the nations, even though you are among the smallest of the European nations.

“I will do all this if you will turn to Me again, if you will look to Me again, if you will cry out to Me again. I want to water the root of awakening the remains. I want to strengthen the revival history in a new generation that has long forgotten the heritage of your great land.

“Rise up and pray and watch Me move in responses to your petitions. I will deliver you and raise you up again as a voice in Europe.” {eoa}

Prophetic Preacher: Prayer Is Your Most Effective Weapon

If there’s one thing prophetic minister Hakeem Collins has learned, it’s that there’s no room for hesitation to do what God wants—especially when it comes to diligent prayer.

God’s latest assignment for Collins was to preach on the life-changing power of prayer. It’s the subject of his new book, 10 Prayer Secrets: Supernatural Power for Your Breakthrough.

Prayer, Collins says, is the biggest key to receiving your breakthrough. Years ago when he was out of work, prayer became his biggest weapon.

“I was in need of a job and God told me, ‘I need you to partner with prayer and fasting,'” Collins told Dr. Steve Greene on a recent episode of Greenelines on the Charisma Podcast Network. “When I did that, I saw in Daniel’s life and ministry that when he fasted and prayed, he experienced some level of resistance and warfare.

“So, when I prayed, God said to fast, and I obeyed Him. That’s what He’s looking for—people to obey Him. When I did that, I prayed and fasted, and soon I literally had job offers out of nowhere. It just took me to get into prayer, heard the voice of God and obey, and I got my breakthrough.

“There are times when we want things done really fast, and it’s hard to be patient. It’s a timing thing,” Collins says. “But God’s delays are good. They’re protectors. When God becomes silent and we feel like our prayers aren’t being answered, it’s not that He is not listening to us, it’s just that He wants up to up our prayer life and seek Him more.

“Just be patient. Wait on God’s timing. Keep praying. Don’t stop praying, and you will get your answer.”

Why You Should Fall in Love With the Holy Spirit

I love the Holy Spirit! The Spirit of God was poured out on the day of Pentecost 2000 years ago and since then, He has used believers to do the works of Jesus around the world. Sharing God’s love and glorifying Jesus are several priorities of the Spirit of Truth.

I honestly hope that you love the Holy Spirit. He is the most incredible person I know. And it is my heart and passion that you encounter Him daily. Life has its ups and downs. Life can be brutal and seemingly unfair at times. And without the Holy Spirit in my life, I don’t know where I’d be. When Jesus baptized me with the Spirit, it completely transformed my life.

Life has been an ongoing adventure with the Spirit. I’ve endured ministry victories and betrayals, two wars as a Marine serving in an infantry battalion, being healed of PTSD, working desperately on my marriage to overcome, raising four amazing kids, planting two churches and successfully closing one and so much more. Without the Holy Spirit I wouldn’t be here today.

God has baptized thousands of people in the Spirit. We are currently seeing people in remote areas of Pakistan hear the gospel, receive healing and Spirit baptism using Skype and TV. It is a long-held conviction of mine that if we discuss the Holy Spirit or prophecy or seeing in the Spirit or evangelism, then we must apply and activate.

Out of my life experience, my Bible education and the adventures in the Spirit I’ve had, I’ve released two e-courses on Charisma Courses with you in mind. True stories of people receiving the baptism with the Spirit have come in after they’ve gone through my free e-course on the baptism with the Holy Spirit. And then other people are going deeper with Him after enrolling in the Fellowship with the Holy Spirit e-course and applying what they’ve learned. I want you to know that you can encounter the Holy Spirit and live the Spirit empowered life too.

I want to equip and empower you to go deeper in fellowship and intimacy with Him. No matter what you’re going through, He is there. Call on Him. Ask the Holy Spirit to fill you now, in Jesus’ name. {eoa}

Why God Can Use Every Christian in ‘Entry-Level’ Prophecy

You can hear God’s voice and prophesy! If you have a relationship with Jesus, you can hear His voice and speak what He is saying.

Jesus said, “My sheep listen to My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me” (John 10:27). If you can hear His voice, then you can be used by God in what I call “entry-level prophecy.” This is for everyone who loves Jesus, the beginning point of prophecy.

The apostle Paul wrote that prophecy is for, “edification, encouragement and comfort.” This is the first level of prophecy. The second level of prophecy is what I call “advanced-level prophecy,” which is the prophetic ministry and ongoing spiritual growth in the gift. The final level of prophecy— the prophetic office—is what I call “expert-level prophecy,” which is the Ephesians 4:11-13 fivefold ministry gift to the church. There is a high price, sacrifice and call to expert level.

But all of us can be used in entry-level prophecy. And I want to encourage people with a prophetic word every day. If I am going out on an errand, I need the heart motivation of Jesus, which is love, and dialogue with Him.

If I am buying a cup of coffee or groceries, I’ll ask Jesus, “How much do you love the barista (or cashier)?” And then I’ll ask, “What do you want to tell them?” And many times He will give me a word of knowledge mentioned in 1 Corinthians 12:8, and I’ll start a conversation with the person by asking them a question. From there, they will confirm what the Lord just showed me, and I’ll prophesy into their life. They’ll be encouraged, comforted and edified. We don’t have to tell them, “I am prophesying over you!” They will pick up on the supernatural transaction taking place. Tell them about Jesus’ love for them and pray over them.

Many of us have a side hustle, something that helps bring in a little extra income. I have done a ride share to try to make ends meet. I’ll jump in my vehicle and turn on the app and start picking up riders. I’ll be playing worship music, in dialogue with Jesus. Sometimes I’ll pick up a ride and talk to Jesus to see if He has anything He wants to say to the person.

Recently I picked up a rider who was obviously in the Navy. A flash of a horse went through my mind, and I asked the young man, “I know this may seem to be coming from left field, but do you happen to love horses?” He responded that he loved horses, and his stepmom worked with horses.

The Lord then gave me more information, and I prophesied into his life. He asked me, “How did you know?” And I explained that Jesus loves him and supernaturally gave me the information.

When I dropped him off, he said the words I spoke over him made his night. That is entry-level prophecy in action, and you can do it! I would be honored to teach you how.

Enroll today in my new e-course that will teach you how to hear God’s voice and prophesy! {eoa}

Why You May Not See Healing Miracles in Your Desert Experience

Note: This is the first of a three-part series.

Water, in an arid or desert area, is of critical concern for everyone and everything there.

This was the context for the very first plague God brought upon the Egyptians to force their Pharaoh to let the people of God leave that desert-like land and serve Him where He would lead them.

Turning the water of the Nile River into blood (Ex. 7:17-18) was an environmental catastrophe for the massive empire, as the river was their main means of commerce as well as the primary drinking source for the desert nation. Consequently, the Egyptians frantically dug around alongside the river to find pools or shallow wells of drinkable water.

The Lord YAHWEH (the high and holy name of God, abbreviated in Hebrew as YHWH and translated in English as Jehovah) continued to bring intensifying plagues upon Egypt’s Pharaoh and his people. Finally, the Passover observance was initiated for the enslaved Israelites, and the death angel brought the demise of the firstborn of each Egyptian home and all firstborn of their animals (Chapter 12).

With that extreme tragedy as the tenth and final plague, after 430 years in the land of Egypt, Pharaoh allowed these descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob to leave, with their animals and riches, voluntarily “plundered” from the people of Egypt (Ex. 11:2-3, 12:36).

Miracles in the Desert

Then, in Exodus 13 and 14, the Israelites traveled from the land of Goshen to the Red Sea, which God miraculously opened, so they could cross “in orderly ranks” in the middle of the sea on dry land, with the waters stacked up like walls on either side of them. Once they were all on the other side, Moses turned and stretched out his hand, as the walls of waters came crashing back upon the pursuing Egyptians, their chariots, horsemen and armies!

The Israelites were amazed and awestruck at what God had done to save them from the Egyptians (14:30-31) and they profoundly “believed the Lord and His servant Moses.” To further memorialize the spectacular event, Moses led the people in a spontaneous song, which praised God for His saving presence, rescue, protection and the unifying establishment of these former slaves as the people of God before other nations (15:1-19).

Are you pursuing your own miracle(s) in a desperate, desert-like land? Are you faithfully witnessing God’s goodness and gracious actions to others? Let’s pin down some lessons we have quickly passed over.

—Some things are nice to have, but not necessary to life itself. Drinkable water is not one of them. Do we take even our drinking water for granted? Or do we humbly and sincerely thank God for our daily bread and water?

—Events in past generations can affect us and our families today. The Israelites had been entrapped in their slavery status for hundreds of years. Is it possible your present desert-concerns are the result of generational curses or personal faithlessness? Or are you spiritually harassed or oppressed and need spiritual deliverance?

—When God frees you from your past and gives you a present miracle, in your desert-like experiences, will you bless His name, publicly praise Him and diligently serve Him? Can He trust you to do so? Are you doing so now?

God is a good God! /And His mercy He will show to you!

There are healing powers and there are miracles/ In the touch of His wonderful hands.

What He’s done for others, He will do for you/ If you will only believe and trust Him, too.

For God is a good God/ And His mercy He will show to you! —God Is a Good God” by Richard Roberts. {eoa}

Messianic Rabbi: How I Will Be Voting in This Year’s Election

I know I am just one person and that you may (and of course you have the absolute freedom to) totally ignore what I am writing today. But I hope you will at least consider my thoughts and my decision as you consider your vote.

With all of the debate about who to vote for, and with less than 100 days left before the elections, I thought it would be a good time to share how I am voting.

We all know that most believers in the last election cycle were voting against someone more than they voted for someone. Or, to say this another way, many people said they were “voting for the lesser of two evils.”

I believe many of us were unknowingly voting unbiblically. Because we have been voting for imperfect people instead of voting for G-D’s perfect Word, I also believe that the enemy of our souls has been victorious in keeping believers divided and weak by keeping us arguing about which imperfect candidate is less imperfect. This division has weakened our testimony as the people of G-D and allowed those who would mock G-D and His people to obtain victories.

What Is the Biblical Way to Vote?

Before we answer that question, let’s look at the Bible. In Genesis, we find the very first governing official, Adam. Adam was elected by G-D to govern the garden of Eden.

In Genesis 2:15 (TLV) we read: “Then Adonai Elohim took the man and gave him rest in the Garden of Eden in order to cultivate and watch over it.” The phrase translated “watch over it” literally means to “guard or protect” it.

For the record, Adam was the last sinless man to be elected to office, and he was elected by G-D Himself. You would think the result of this election would be ideal.

Yet, we all know the story ended in failure. When Adam was placed into his position to govern the garden, he had zero constituents. He was all alone. Then G-D formed Eve from Adam’s side and now Adam was the governor of one person.

Adam had one job to do, the most important job of any government, and that was to guard Eve. However, Adam failed to govern correctly by guarding and protecting his only constituent. Instead, he actually chose to join her in bringing sin and death into the world.

Think about this: G-D is absolutely perfect, and He elected Adam to govern the Garden of Eden. Yet Adam still failed in governing righteously. So, if even the sinless man G-D voted for can fall into sin, maybe we shouldn’t be voting for a man or a woman.

So, you may be asking: “If we shouldn’t be voting for a man or woman, what should we vote for?” I am glad you asked. I have decided that I will be voting for issues and not for people. I will be voting for biblical issues. I will vote for issues that cultivate life and guard and protect life.

—I vote pro-life.

—I vote pro-family.

—I vote pro-Israel.

—I vote pro-law and order.

I hope you will join me and the many others who have decided to stop voting for people and start voting for biblically proclaimed issues. {eoa}

Prophetic Preacher: Ancient Scrolls Uncover Mysteries to Unlock America’s Future

As an intercessor and prophetic preacher, Jordan Wells wasn’t at all surprised when God gave him a series of revelations about America’s future.

When he began to have visions about it, he took it as a confirmation and continued to intercede and fast for the country. All this eventually led him to write a book, The Final Trumpet: The Scroll of Mysteries, which uncovers ancient mysteries to foretell America’s future by showing parallels of ancient prophecies and America’s upcoming election.

“I had a vision of America, and it makes me weep every time I think about it,” Wells told Dr. Steve Greene on a recent episode of Greenelines on the Charisma Podcast Network. “I remember I was sitting on the bed, and I believe it was an angel that came into the room. The fear of God came in the room so strong that I couldn’t even look up. It was intense, and I couldn’t think straight. I just began to cry.

“And I heard a voice say, ‘This is the final trumpet.’ It was in relation to the president. Then I had a vision, and I saw America on these balancing beams. I saw America on one side, and I saw the hand of God on the other. And again, God said, ‘The final trumpet.’ He said it three times and then after that, the vision broke. I was like, ‘What is it? What is this, God? What are You talking about?’

“And then God began to show me through the Word different nations, most of which [were] the nation of Israel. He began to show me the parallels between America and the nation of Israel. He showed me that the path America is on is the same path that ancient Israel was on. Through those encounters and through prayer, it began to lead me on this journey of what He showed me through His Word.”

Curt Landry: Why Satan Wants to Make Believers Nonessential

Curt Landry is often surprised when he hears of pastors and ministers who are hesitant to preach on the subject of reconciliation.

Landry, the founder of Curt Landry Ministries, says not only is it a privilege to do so, but that the church is actually called to this type of ministry because “we carry the blood of Jesus.” For Landry, it’s a no-brainer.

“We are Christ’s ambassadors, and we are called to share the message of reconciliation with other in the community,” Landry told Dr. Steve Greene on a recent episode of Greenelines on the Charisma Podcast Network. “We carry the ministry of reconciliation, as it says in 2 Corinthians 5.

“The house of God is the house of reconciliation, and the power of reconciliation is the expungement of sin. The product that we carry is the blood of Jesus. That’s why the enemy wants to make us nonessential. He wants to shut us down because it’s the blood of Jesus. …

“I want pastors and preachers and teachers to hear what Scripture says about that. Second Corinthians 5 talks about being reconciled to God: ‘For the love of Christ compels us, because thus we judge, that if one died for all, then all have died.’ A lot of people are afraid to share with people and tell people that you want to be saved, but people don’t explain that they need to die to self. That’s why you have to water baptize, to immerse them into death of self and resurrect them in the spirit.”
