Marilyn Hickey: Jennifer Eivaz Teaches How to Learn the Language of Heaven

God talks to His people—and when God gives a prophecy, He is telling of things to come. Jennifer Eivaz’s book, Prophetic Secrets: Learning the Language of Heaven, teaches how to distinguish the voice of God and become all He has created you to be. You can sharpen your gifting in order to minister healing, breakthrough and a supernatural display of God’s glory.

In a world desperate to hear the voice of God clearly, it is vital His prophets give true expression to all that is on His heart. The gift of prophesy is for believers today!

John Ramirez is an evangelist and servant of Jesus Christ who came out of demonic worship and into the light of Christ. His book, Armed and Dangerous, shows Christians that we can aggressively come against the devil, armed and dangerous, without any fear or doubt. In the Bible, God gives us an awareness of who the devil is, and we should know how to pray spiritual warfare prayers.

John’s book teaches you how to confront the enemy with the power of the Holy Spirit and gives you specific prayers to dismantle the works of the enemy. Learn how to fight—through your prayers.

Are you aware that you have the power of life and death in your words? If you tap into the vocabulary of the Holy Spirit, you can prophesy health and healing over your body and over others’. Today, Christians are desperate to understand how to believe and access their miracle. In Becky Dvorak’s book, The Prophetic and Healing Power of Your Words: Creating an Atmosphere for the Miraculous, you’ll learn how to defeat the powers of sickness by prophesying words of healing. Speak to the mountains in your life today and get radical with your words. Believe in healing! {eoa}

Demolishing the Myth of a Socialist Jesus

Jerry Bowyer says he had no desire to write a book. As an economist, he simply wanted to learn what Jesus thought about economics.

And after a thorough study of the Gospels, Bowyer came to a conclusion that paints a very different picture of what Jesus taught about work and money than many theologians might have you believe. That, in turn, led him to write The Maker Versus the Takers: What Jesus Really Said About Social Justice and Economics.

“If you listen carefully, read carefully, look at the biblical archaeology and read stories of the time and put them in context, you will see a major part of Jesus’ mission was to contrast kingdom economics with worldly economics and to demand of Israel’s leaders that they abandon worldly economics,” Bowyer told Dr. Steve Greene on a recent episode of Greenelines on the Charisma Podcast Network.

“Worldly economics is about using political coercion, manipulation, pull and power to extract wealth from people, but kingdom economics is about embracing productivity and abundance,” Bowyer said. “God is a maker. Jesus, His Son, is a maker. Jesus never clashes with the makers of wealth nor with any entrepreneurs in Galilee. Every single class about economics that Jesus has is with people in Judea who are part of the ruling class, who use their power to take things rather than being productive and abundant. …

“A lot of what went on that we haven’t really been savvy to is a contrast between the Galilean way of thinking of things and the Jerusalem temple elite Sanhedrin way of thinking of things,” Bowyer said. “Jesus clashes with them because they are clashing with Him. Jesus didn’t start the fight; they start the fight because they sense that Jesus is exposing them. They don’t decide to kill Him until he tells a parable—the Parable of the Tenants—which exposes how economically exploitive they are. When He messed with their theology, they got angry. When He messed with their money, that’s when they decided to murder Him.”

The Book Jonathan Cahn Finally Had to Write to Warn America

When Jonathan Cahn wrote his first book, the blockbuster bestseller The Harbinger back in 2012, it warned that 9/11 was the beginning of judgement as America fell away from God. It mirrored the last days of ancient Israel, where nine harbingers of warning appeared in the land, warning of national calamity and coming destruction.

Those same harbingers, the same nine signs of a nation under judgment, have now reappeared in modern times on American soil. Cahn says America is joined to ancient Israel—in its blessings, in its falling and in that which would come upon it. He says the mystery of the harbingers has never stopped—it has continued to this day.

As a result, the time has finally come to tell the rest of the story, in Cahn’s new book, the explosive, long-awaited sequel, The Harbinger II: The Return.

For Such a Time as This

Cahn says, “This book contains what I’ve been holding back from sharing for eight years. I couldn’t write it until the Lord said this was the time. I couldn’t touch it. It was only now that He gave the go-ahead.

“In September of 2019, I was praying as to what the next book that I was to write would be. From that came a clear leading that it was to be what I had held off from writing for eight years—The Harbinger II. What also came was a strong sense that 2020 would be a year of great shaking. I even shared that publicly on the first week of the year.

“I knew that both of these things that would be connected—that the shakings would be the continuation of the biblical mystery that began with The Harbinger. And that’s why I had to write The Harbinger II, so that America would be warned and that God’s people would know what was happening and where it was leading—and what to do.

“So I started writing it in January of 2020. And then, three months later, it all happened. The shakings came upon America.”

As America reels from the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, economic collapse and civil disorder, and people all over the nation try to make sense of everything that’s happening, The Harbinger II follows the ancient biblical template and provides answers for such a time as this.

“This book unlocks the mysteries that have not been revealed from the beginning, to what has happened since 9/11, to this day,” says Cahn. “Is America heading for judgement? Are these current shakings a signal that we’re drawing closer to judgement, to calamity? Has the ancient mystery of the harbinger continued up to this day? Is it behind the pandemic, to the economic collapse, to the disorder we’re watching? Was there more to the mystery? Are we running out of time? How long do we have? These are the questions The Harbinger II opens up.”

That which The Harbinger foretold has come to pass. The Harbinger II reveals what’s happening to America according to the mystery—and what happens next.

The Window

“America has literally been following the course of the harbingers,” says Cahn. “The ancient biblical pattern is that God allows the strike, and then He gives a set period of time—a time for the nation to repent, a time of mercy, a time of grace. It’s a window, and we are in the window right now.

“That’s one of the reasons why I was led to write The Harbinger II at this exact time—because there are increasing signs that we are coming to the end of that window.”

In the case of ancient Israel, instead of turning back, they turned away all the more, going further and further away from God. “When a nation is given the chance to turn back and rejects that chance, it will become all the more brazen, and its fall will deepen and accelerate,” says Cahn.

Which begs the question, has there been any turning back at all since 9/11?

Cahn says no. “America’s overall descent from God has only progressed,” he says. The nation has not only abandoned the ways of God, but is increasingly warring against them—from tolerating immorality to brazenly championing it, indoctrinating its children away from the ways of God, vilifying those who refuse to join in its apostasy but hold true to the ways of God and seeking to silence and punish them. America has shed innocent blood, called evil good and good evil and has established it, legislated it and executed it by sanctifying the profane and profaning the sacred.”

Cahn says this has all been a choice. “America did not have to follow in ancient Israel’s footsteps, but it did. That was its choice. And so the mystery continues.”

God Is Calling Us Back

Is there hope then for America? While Cahn believes if the nation’s war against God’s ways does not change, the shakings will increase in intensity, and judgment will come—he still holds out for hope.

“Judgment is not the heart of God, not for a nation or a soul,” he says. “Judgment is God’s necessity, but redemption is His heart. He wills that none should perish and longs to save, to grant mercy and forgiveness, to heal and restore. It is the necessity of good to bring evil to an end, that judgment must come—but it is the heart of God to bring salvation, to call back, to warn and to even allow the shaking of nations that those who would hear His calling would come back and be saved.”

Cahn says this is what makes the message of The Harbinger II so urgent today. “Such things as repentance and revival often come only through shaking, and what has now come upon America but a shaking? God’s voice still calls.”

So where does this all leave us with regard to the harbingers? “As the nation’s fall has continued,” says Cahn, “so have the manifestations of the harbingers. I’ve watched this mystery progress up until to this very moment. The Harbinger II opens up everything: the message from the past to the present from what has happened since 9/11 to what is happening at this moment. It uncovers a prophetic revelation of America’s future and has to do with every one of our lives, opening up the revelations of God, the voice of God, the plan of God, where we are and what we need to do now to avoid judgement.” {eoa}

You Can Live a Blessed Life Through These Kingdom Strategies

As a minister of the gospel for nearly 30 years, Steve Pixler has seen it all too many times.

The lead pastor at Freedom Life Church in Mansfield, Texas, Pixler has witnessed multitudes come to Christ over the years, only to hit a wall and never continue to the blessed life that God has for them through kingdom service.

Pixler says that’s a tragedy, and it doesn’t have to be that way. On his podcast, Kingdom Strategies, Pixler reveals apostolic strategies for advancing the kingdom of God in every realm of believers’ lives. He helps Christians grow in their understanding of the kingdom and how they can serve it with wisdom, strength and love in their areas of influence.

“The kingdom of God coming through us into the world, taking root in our heart, flowing out of us into our family, flowing from our family, out into our business, our work, our vocation, flowing out into, of course, our churches and our community—all of it is rooted in the personal transformation that happens in the human heart,” Pixler told Dr. Steve Greene on a recent episode of Greenelines on the Charisma Podcast Network.

“I think this is the central message that I’ve been given, that the kingdom of God is meant to transform the human heart,” Pixler said. “But for many Christians, that’s as far as it gets. They have the transformation of the human heart—’I’m saved; I’m on my way to heaven.’ And that’s where it stops. So the kingdom never gets past their fingertips.

“But the kingdom is meant to flow out of us into the world,” he said. There are other people who get very focused on changing the world, but do not focus on personal transformation. They’re all about social justice, social action, about doing this and that, whatever to make the world a better place, which is wonderful. But it doesn’t last. In fact, it becomes corrupt if it isn’t flowing out of a transformed heart.

“The whole point is to be salt and light, but it can only happen with a changed heart,” Pixler said.

How God Thwarted the Enemy’s COVID Plan to Mute the Christian Music Industry

In 2020, COVID-19 has hit the Christian music industry hard. The pandemic not only forced the shutdown of concerts and live events for Christian artists, but Gospel Music Association President and Executive Director Jackie Patillo says Christian artists have been forced to make personal sacrifices throughout the year.

Yet, Patillo says, Christian artists have marched on as “modern-day” Christian soldiers, promoting the gospel on the internet and social media and inspiring people to worship Christ in ways they’ve never had to before.

Even the recent 51st annual Dove Awards, which celebrates the excellence of artists, was executed virtually.

“It’s sad, but this year, we were unable to gather,” Patillo told Dr. Steve Greene on a recent episode of Greenelines on the Charisma Podcast Network. “So there was no arena, no audience. But people still need to be inspired by our music and our artists. It is really a blessing for me to be at the helm and to be able to facilitate a shining light that is all about Christian music.

“These artists on the front lines are really making huge sacrifices, and ambition was very tough. COVID shut down the entertainment industry, and the performance industry was the first to shut down and probably the last to open up. We’re very proud of artists to see how they took to social media to inspire folks right from their living rooms. There are many artists who just pulled up their iPhones to their pianos at home and shared with people.

“With the Dove Awards, we got to interview artists and really hear their heart. Generally with the Dove Awards, you hear the songs, you see the nominees and the acceptance speeches. This year, we were able to interview artists and really hear their commitment to their calling. We were able to share some of the stories behind how some of the songs, and that’s powerful to me. I love the fact that we were able to honor the Lord and show how when people are dedicated and turn their ears to heaven.”

The War of Gog vs. Magog: Cleansing the Land

Note: This is the third of a three-part series. Click here for part one and here for part two.

In Ezekiel 39:1-3 (NKJV), the Lord God of Israel declares directly to the leader of the invading masses, “I am against you, O Gog, the prince of Rosh, Meshech and Tubal,” and then He says “I will turn you back, drive you on, and take you up the north parts and bring you against the mountains of Israel … you and all your troops and the peoples who are with you.”

This large, invading force, the totality of their defeat and the vast cemetery for the invaders, will become a great testimony to the glory of Israel’s God (v. 13). This huge burial place will become known as the Valley of Hamon Gog (the hordes of Gog) and is noted in verse 11 as being “east of the sea.”

It is unclear if this is the Mediterranean Sea or the Dead Sea, at the southern end of the Jordan River. If it is the latter, Jordan may join the invading armies and suffer their consequences and then be used to host this huge burial place of Israel’s enemies. If so, Israel itself could “cleanse the land” and remain free of ritual and practical defilement (vv. 11-13).

In reading Ezekiel 39:9, we may calmly note that Israeli citizens burn the discarded weapons and military equipment of the invaders as firewood for seven years but then we suddenly realize that they are burning weapons! Is this to be taken literally? Are these modern weapons of war really made of wood? Or, is this Ezekiel’s existential effort to try to explain what is happening?

Pastor Jack Hayford’s footnote commentary for this chapter in the Spirit-Filled Life Bible identifies three ways interpreters have explained this invasion and drastic turn of events. He says some interpret this as No. 1, an end-times battle fought with ancient weapons, which are then literally burned; No. 2, using ancient imagery to describe a future battle, which would use modern weaponry of the times; or No. 3, symbolically portraying the dynamics of spiritual warfare.

Whatever your viewpoint, Ezekiel 39 explains that following the dramatic conclusion to this failed invasion of tiny Israel and the seven-month-burial process of the invaders there will be a seven-year “clean-up” operation (vv. 11-16), where Israel will “cleanse the land” by burning the weapons which fell from the hands of the vast allied armies (v. 9).

This presents some perplexing, practical factors: Since we are not told of any actual destruction in Israel’s cities or infrastructure, why would they be forced to burn weapons or cut wood, in the first place? Their modern electrical grids are powered by consumable fuels or replaceable energy now. Is it possible these modern means were destroyed during the invasion and/or natural disasters, perhaps with a massively disruptive Electromagnetic Pulse (EMP)?

Used as a weapon, an EMP has the ability to wipe out electronic devices including communications, navigation and power systems, thereby crippling the country’s ability to defend itself from a land invasion that would follow.

It is rumored that Russia’s military has experimented with a “laminated densified wood” product called Lingostone. Used as a substitute for steel, it can be engineered into various products, including light-arms manufacturing. Whether or not the engineered product could be burned for fuel has not been reported.

With the devastation of the invading armies in Israel will come a new sense of awe and knowledge of the glory of the God of Israel. He will gain “renown” as He is glorified among the Jews and Gentiles “from that day forward” (v. 22).

Multiple times in these two chapters of Ezekiel 38-39 God repeats His desire to make His name known among the nations (38:16, 23; 39:6,7). It is not as though He has need of affirmation or recognition from us, rather it is we who need to give Him praise and adoration for His faithful love and merciful care for each of us!

Our God is the “same, yesterday, today and forever” (). No matter what trials and tragedies we may face, He is sovereign over all! Through fearful epidemics, challenging endeavors and unpredictable end-times. He has promised, “I will never leave you, nor forsake you” (Heb. 13:5b).

May He always be glorified and His name increasingly magnified in each of us! “Even so, come, Lord Jesus” (see Rev. 22:20). Amen! {eoa}

Second-Generation Pastor Points Believers Toward Much-Needed Message of Grace

As the son of a pastor, Vernel Samuel grew up in the church and heard thousands of sermons. This caused him to both respect and place a high value on Scripture.

But one subject he didn’t hear much about was grace, a virtue that is sorely lacking in the church today. He struggled with temptation and self-condemnation, not living the life of freedom God wanted him to live.

Once he took hold of the book of Romans, however—especially Chapters 5, 6 and 8—Samuel put away the urge to condemn himself, and the Holy Spirit began to reveal truth to him about grace. It’s a message he now adamantly preaches as the senior pastor of Hungry 4 God Church in Brooklyn, New York, and on his podcast, The Grace Revolution, on the Charisma Podcast Network.

“As a young man, I started dabbling with pornography and sexual temptations. But like any good Christian, I began to pray, ‘Please God, help me with this,'” Samuel told Dr. Steve Greene on a recent episode of Greenelines on the Charisma Podcast Network. “I was upset at myself and began beating myself up and felt like a failure. All of the teachings I knew, none of them were helping me to get free.

“One day, I did a study on the book of Romans, and in Romans 5:17, it says that when you receive the gift of righteousness, an abundance of grace will reign in your life,” Samuel said. “I didn’t understand what it meant to be under grace. When I got to Romans 8, where it says there is no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, I was like, ‘Why am I condemning myself? I’m under grace.’ I needed to learn it. The Holy Spirit revealed to me this message of no condemnation, and I began to confess my righteousness. …

“What we’re seeing now is the end of an era of church. God is destroying religious trappings that have been hindering people from coming into the New Covenant lifestyle,” he said. “What we’re going to see is a new order of grace-filled, empowering leadership establishing the church. … We’re going to see a new resurgence of worship gatherings all around the country, our nation, where people are just going to come, and the glory of God is going to me made known. We’re going to see supernatural fruitful growth in individuals’ lives.”

Are You Experiencing Unprecedented Spiritual Warfare Right Now?

Are you experiencing unprecedented spiritual warfare? Does it seem like you take one step forward and two steps back, that everything seems to be a struggle?

According to Scripture, you have the authority to trample on snakes and scorpions. This was a figure of speech used to describe demons.

Demons are under your feet because Jesus won the victory on the cross, and you are seated with Him. We are to engage in spiritual warfare knowing our identity in Christ.

I had the honor of having a great discussion with Jake Kail of the Keys for Deliverance podcast on the Destiny Image Podcast Network.

Kail shared, “The Scripture is the most foundational way for God to speak to us. It is the most important way He speaks to us. Nothing God says or speaks will contradict His Word.”

Kail said he was set free from demonic bondages when he had a dramatic encounter with the Lord when he was 19, and then God started having dreams where he was casting demons out of people. He said, “I would wake up from the dream and I knew it was from God, but I was honestly freaked out about it. I didn’t fully understand how that could work for me.”

He described the encounter with Jesus that radically changed him, saying, “I was living a deceived lifestyle, thinking I could be a Christian but live like the rest of the world. … In college I was invited to a college ministry retreat, and my eyes were opened to a conviction for sin. I wrestled with the conviction but finally came to a point of true surrender and deep repentance.”

He read Power Healing by John Wimber and They Shall Expel Demons by Derek Prince, and his eyes were opened to how deliverance ministry works today. It gave him the biblical foundation and understanding he needed to step out into deliverance ministry. People started coming to him about bondages, and he started praying for people. People started manifesting demons, and Kail said, “The Lord gave me the boldness to cast them out.” He’s grown in the area of deliverance doing a lot of equipping and training people to go through personal deliverance.

My podcast, Adventures in the Spirit, is not just about information, but also impartation and activation. So I asked Kail to lead our viewers and listeners in deliverance, and he called out words of knowledge and cast demons out of people watching and listening in.

Marilyn Hickey Asks, ‘Are You Praying for a Miracle?’

Do you or does someone you know need a car, a house, a job—anything? Romans 8:28 tells us that God can do anything. He can supply all our needs. Do you believe that? I urge you to believe for something specific for your particular need because God says all things are possible to those who believe.

God likes to take care of His people and get them deeper into faith. Read the Bible and find a promise to stand on. The Word doesn’t return void. You can never know God’s miracle-working power until you have a need. Your needs and crises are God’s opportunity for miracles—and God will get the glory.

Jehovah Rophe means “Jehovah heals.” Through this name, God reveals Himself to you as the great healer. You may have a need that you’re focusing on, but today focus on God’s provision for you. God heals not only your body, but also your emotions, relationship and finances.

In Exodus 15 we see the Lord Jehovah Rophe, the healer. Supernatural healing is demonstrated from Genesis through Revelation because God’s provision is healing. Jehovah Rophe is not just our healer, He is the Lord of our health. Don’t grumble, pray—take the provisions of the cross into your needs because there is healing power.

Are you praying for a miracle? Well, what’s in your hand? If you give it to Him, God will take what’s in your hand and turn it into the miraculous. Remember the little boy with five loaves and two fish? After he gave that lunch to Jesus, the food multiplied to feed over 5,000.

God asked Moses what he had in his hand. It was a rod, and that rod was instrumental in delivering the Israelites out of Egypt. What leaves your hand and is given to God produces something that gives a continual harvest. Sow seeds into God’s kingdom and step out in faith to receive your miracle. {eoa}

Naturopathic Doctor Says Obesity and Disease in America Are Out of Control

As a naturopathic doctor, Mark Sherwood has deep concerns about the amount of disease and obesity that have been prevalent in this country in the last half-century, and the “staggering” financial implications that have come with it.

Dr. Sherwood’s questions to the masses are, “Why does this have to be the norm, and why aren’t we doing anything about it?” He regularly addresses those issues on his podcast, Healthcare’s Missing Link, on the Charisma Podcast Network (CPN).

“For the last 50 years, you would have thought, at some point in time, that with this egregious trend someone would have said, ‘Timeout, wait a minute; we’re doing something wrong,'” Sherwood told Dr. Steve Greene on a recent episode of Greenelines on the Charisma Podcast Network. “Obviously, we know the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. So I would submit that we’re probably doing the same thing.

“We need to make changes because, for example, 600,000 people die every year of cardiovascular disease, and right behind that are going to be cancers—nearly half a million people,” Sherwood said. “This doesn’t have to happen. This trend has been growing at a staggering rate, and it is shocking. By 2030, and that is within our lifetimes for many, it is predicted that 100% of our states will have unacceptable obesity rates. Oklahoma, for example, is teetering on 60% obesity right now, and as you go south, the growth rate is exponential.

“Clearly, clearly, this has been caused by the standard American diet lifestyle that has been perpetuated,” he added. “It’s a business. But, if we claim to have Christian leadership, we need to stop perpetuating and encouraging disease. Frankly, it makes me sick to my stomach to think about the business of sick care. A sick care model is driven by sick people, the customers. But does that have anything to do with well care? We need to wake up. It’s not OK anymore. We need the courage to step up. That’s my main mission.”
