Angelic Visitation Imparts Stunning Prophecies to MorningStar Ministries’ Chris Reed

Note: Begin watching the video at the 1:05:37 mark to hear Reed’s stunning prophetic revelations.

MorningStar Ministries CEO Pastor Chris Reed says he recently received an angelic visitation, one that revealed some amazing prophecies to the prophetic pastor about upcoming world events.

Reed revealed these prophecies to the MorningStar Church congregation and online in a service this past Sunday.

“There are a few things I’m not supposed to share, but of course, you know, just a holy reverential comes all over you when something like that happens,” Reed said. “It’s unspeakable, it’s enthralling, yet completely terrifying. But on May 13, I had an angelic visitation, and it was right when I was waking up.

“The main thing he talked to me about was world events and what’s coming up. One of the first things he said to me is that two children of the cold war will be removed and taken out of power. And then, he said to me watch Joe Biden taken out of power and so will Vladimir Putin pretty soon. Both will happen fairly closely together. I say this in the fear of the Lord. He says they’ll happen both fairly close together and they will no longer be in their positions.

“He also said that Kamala Harris would be very hesitant and would struggle with the idea of being president. Of course, that’s the way it would work, if the president is no longer in office, the vice president steps up. He said to watch Sen. Elizabeth Warren from Massachusetts, that she would emerge after this happens to become more of a major player in the void after Biden is no longer in the White House … I do not wish harm in any way to anyone. I’m just saying there is an unfolding of events and Elizabeth Warren will emerge to help in that time. I’m not saying she’ll be president, but I’m just saying she will emerge in that time.

“Another thing he told me is that, because of the economic turmoil and increasing of birth pains in the earth, the financial economic political upheaval, there will be a lot of confusion and disorientation. He said that the world was now beginning to look for a leader to bring peace and security. France wants another Napoleon, Spain wants another queen, Greece wants another Alexander the Great and Rome wants another Caesar. That’s how he said it.

“He went on to say that, in the coming days, the city of Paris, France, will become a hotbed of turbulence; something will trigger a hotbed of turbulence there. This is something that I want to say and please don’t read too much into this, but he did emphasize a particular world leader to really keep an eye on and that he’s calling the church to pray about—one that could potentially be the world of darkness’ answer for the turbulence. Things will unfold, and he said to keep your eye on the newly re-elected president of France, Emmanuel Macron. He said Emmanuel Macron will gain more public notoriety soon, more coverage and he will emerge with more worldwide recognition for his purpose and to introduce false peace primarily to Europe.

“The angel said to me, ‘look at his birthday.’ And after the encounter, I looked up his birthday and it just so happens his birthday is Dec. 21. December 21 is the winter solstice—the birthday of every pagan god from every culture in history including Jupiter, Zeus, Mercury, Baal and Tamus. They’re all born on Dec. 21 because the ancient pagans believed that the sun died that day because it’s the shortest day of the year. They believe the sun was being rebirthed after that because the days start getting longer after Dec. 21.

“I’m not saying that he is a pagan god but it’s not a coincidence that he’s born on that day and the fact his name is Emmanuel. When the Scripture speaks about the man of sin who would be revealed, who would sit in the temple proclaiming himself to be God, remember Emmanuel means, ‘God with us.’ I don’t believe that he’s God, but I’m very concerned and very troubled about the future and the enemy’s plans for Emmanuel Macron.

“I want you to be prayerful about this and to take this into very strong prayer consideration.”

Reed went on to say that the angel told him that there would be an increase in earthquakes; that India would see a major one. And, he also told Reed that a significant war would break out soon, that China would “continue to advance its plans in the attack of Taiwan.” {eoa}

How Naomi Judd’s Death Made this Minister Think, ‘I Gotta Get Help!’

When the details surrounding Naomi Judd’s death surfaced, it scared minister Janet Boynes. It was recently discovered that the singer was suffering from mental illness, and she recently took her own life with a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Boynes was deeply concerned that she herself might be headed down that path, and she knew she needed help. But she also knew that it would not be a comfortable situation.

“So, when Ashley and Wynonna Judd’s mom committed suicide, I was like, ‘Man, that can happen to me,'” Boynes says. “And when I found out that she used her gun, I was sick. I just thought, ‘I gotta get help, because I don’t want to be one of those people.'”

Like Naomi Judd, Boynes also owned a gun. And, when Boynes’ counselor asked her to take the gun out of her house, Boynes says that she was offended.

“I was like, ‘Wait a minute. Do you not trust me?'” she says.

Finding a good counselor to combat her mental illness issues had already stretched the boundaries of Boynes’ comfort zone. She was afraid of the stigma that might come along with getting counseling, but when she talked with a few of her friends about her depression and negative thoughts, they recommended she see someone professionally.

Initially, she balked at the idea.

“And I was like, ‘I’m not getting counseling,'” says Boynes. “I’m just not going to do it. I’m not ready for that.”

Eventually she gave in and found a counselor she felt like she could trust.

Boynes says that she never told anyone about her depression until recently because she didn’t want anyone to feel sorry for her or worry about her. “I’m the one that’s supposed to be worried about other people. I’m the pastor,” Boynes says.

Boynes is a prominent minister who speaks about how God called her out of homosexuality. As a child, Boynes’ mother abused her physically, and her stepdad raped her. Because of the abuse she experienced at home, Boynes beat up other kids in school and gained the reputation as one of the worst kids on the block.

Boynes says it was hard for her to escape those experiences. Even after one conversion experience, two re-commitments and a lifetime of ministry, she says that in her worst moments, her past still haunts her.

“When you grow up, and everybody thinks you’re the worst kid on the block, and that you’re going to amount to nothing, and you’ll be dead by the time you’re 21 and your mom calls you all these names—at 64 they still stick with me,” Boynes says. “I can still hear that. I can still hear the pain. I can still see that man raping me. I can still see my mom being abused.”

Although Boynes still has those memories, she forgave her mom and formed a meaningful relationship that lasted many years until her mother died. She stayed in the hospital with her mother for the last seven days of her life.

“I watched her go through that pain, and the images—I can’t get out of my brain,” she says. “It’s almost like a piece of me went with her. And sometimes I want to be with her.”

Boynes speaks candidly about her experience of depression now, but she didn’t always feel that freedom. She thought other people would call her crazy or try to boot her out of ministry, but recently, she saw two stories and thought, “That could be me.”

Boynes says that she relates to the story of 2019 Miss USA Chelsie Kryst, who committed suicide by jumping from a window of the 29th floor of her New York City apartment building. Kryst’s mother said her daughter hid her “high-functioning depression,” and Boynes struggles with a similar form of depression.

“My counselor said, ‘You’re a very active depressed person,'” Boynes says. “You write books. You travel. You do podcasts. You’re on Christian television shows. And you’re still depressed.'” {eoa}

God’s Gift to You: Interpreting Your Prayer Language

The apostle Paul said, “Therefore, one who speaks in a tongue should pray for the power to interpret” (1 Cor. 14:13, NRSVA). Paul shared a number of profound truths about speaking in tongues, and in this verse’s context he was laying the principles for the public speaking of tongues.

When tongues are spoken for all to hear within the church body, an interpretation is necessary for the edification of the congregation. Paul said that if he were to go to a gathering of believers speaking in tongues, it wouldn’t be beneficial to those who heard unless there were a revelation or prophecy or word of instruction with an interpretation that followed (1 Cor. 14:6-12).

Then in verse 13 Paul states, “One who speaks in a tongue should pray for the power to interpret” (NRSVA). So how do we start to receive the power to interpret?

If God has called you to speak in tongues publicly for the church body to hear, Paul says you should pray for the power to interpret. You can interpret your own tongues, or if you are aware of interpreters within your church, God can use them to interpret the message in tongues. First Corinthians 14:27-28 (RSV) says, “If any speak in a tongue, let there be only two or at most three, and each in turn; and let one interpret. But if there is no one to interpret, let each of them keep silent in church and speak to himself and to God.”

It is in the secret place of prayer, where it is just you and God, that you ask Him for the gift of interpreting tongues, beginning with your own prayer language. You can begin the process today! I’d encourage you to play some worship music and draw near to the Holy Spirit by faith. Worship and adore Jesus, and soon, ask Him for the spiritual gift of interpreting tongues.

After asking Him, begin to pray in tongues for a minute or so. Then pause and listen to His still, small voice. If you have a journal with you, begin writing what His voice tells you. That is the interpretation of what you prayed in tongues.

As you do this more in your spiritual life, you will grow in this spiritual gift. Then, if the Holy Spirit stirs you to speak in tongues for the congregation to hear in the right moment, you can speak in tongues and then interpret them or wait for another interpreter to give the message so that everyone will be edified.

The apostle Paul said, “Since you are eager for gifts of the Spirit, try to excel in those that build up the church” (1 Cor. 14:12, NIV). This includes prophecy and the interpretation of tongues for edification, exhortation and comfort. Most importantly, this must be done in love to build up the church (1 Cor. 14:1-5).

Who Will Occupy the Lowest Tier of Hell?

During the vision that God gave me that I described in my book 23 Minutes in Hell, I didn’t know what level of hell I was in, but I understood that even worse levels existed.

Most of us can imagine who should occupy the worst level in hell. We might think it should be the murderers, child abusers and Hitlers of the world, and this would be true. However, there is an additional group we might not be aware of.

Whenever Jesus confronted the Pharisees, He called them hypocrites. A hypocrite is a fake or a phony. They pretend to hold beliefs, feelings and virtues they don’t really possess. The Pharisees were an example of the worst kind of sinner, and we’ll read why.

The Bible indicates seven sins that God especially hates. The Pharisees were guilty of all seven, and even one other that was the most severe of all: blasphemy against the Holy Spirit.

In Christian circles we often hear people say “sin is sin,” implying that all sin is viewed the same, but the Bible actually reveals there are worse or greater sins. Jesus said to Pilate in John 19:11 (NKJV), “The one who delivered Me to you has the greater sin,” which indicates that all sin is not looked upon the same. This is one reason why the Pharisees may be among those who will be found in the lowest level of hell.

Ultimately, we must understand that the heart attitude behind the sin is what makes it a worse sin. In Matthew 15:19 (NLT), Jesus said, “For from the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, all sexual immorality, theft, lying, and slander.” We can commit sin in ignorance or in willful rebellion against God.

While some sins are specifically described as an abomination to God, the one thing all sin has in common is that any sin, no matter how minor, excludes us from heaven. It is only the shed blood of Jesus that can cleanse a person of all sin, regardless of what they’ve done, when they put their trust in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. First John 1:9 (NLT) says,“If we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness.”

If the Pharisees thought themselves to be the highest religious group, yet they sinned the worst, we would all be wise to examine ourselves often. God sees our motives and our attitudes, which are hidden from public view. He knows whether we act out of genuine love and concern for others or we have a hidden agenda behind our words and actions. {eoa}

When Did Your Relationship With Food Become a Stronghold?

I was doing well on my weight loss journey until I saw the scales show that I weighed 199 pounds. I didn’t know why but my body did not want to go below 200 pounds.

It wasn’t that I was eating anything wrong, and I was still exercising. It just felt very much like a real emotional issue.

When I shared this with my accountability group, the leader waited until all members had given their advice. Then he asked me a pivotal, life-defining question: Where did you learn your relationship with food?

I didn’t have to stop and think, “Do I have a relationship with food?” I immediately knew I did have a relationship with food, and I knew I learned it from my grandma, who fed me every kind of food I wanted, including every type of dessert. At her house we could have seconds or thirds and snacks anytime.

Comfort Food

Grandma’s way of approaching food defined comfort and love to me. When I was away from her and felt overwhelmed, sad, angry, lonely, fearful, worried, stressed or just plain old frustrated, I would make something she would have made and eat as much as I wanted. It would comfort me for a while until the sugar high wore off. Then I needed more to get the same feeling.

In reality, this way of coping wasn’t comforting me at all. It was very discomforting. It had caused me to gain weight and then struggle through learning how to lose that weight. To not ever again eat or cook those foods felt like I would be dishonoring Grandma. It took me a while to process what was happening in my head and my heart.

While the adult me knew I couldn’t eat all those foods in the quantities I had consumed in the past and be healthy, the emotional part of me was still stuck baking cookies with Grandma. Those foods fed my emotions more than my body.

Revelation

All of a sudden, God revealed the truth to me: I had allowed Grandma’s way of cooking to become a stronghold. It was robed in what I thought was comfort, but it was still a stronghold. I felt the responsibility to pass on Grandma’s love through food.

My fondest childhood memories all centered around food and Grandma. They were inseparable in my mind. I thought if I gave up throwing the grand food celebrations Grandma was famous for, I would be dishonoring her legacy.

Grandma and the foods she cooked had become enmeshed in my heart. Could I separate them? Could I still hold a place in my heart for Grandma if I turned my back on what she cooked and served?

Grandma’s Love

Many people show their love for their families through the food they cook. Grandma was no exception. It was her way of showing love, but it wasn’t the only way.

I remember her reading my favorite book, Henny Penny, over and over again. I loved the rhythm of the words. Any time I spent with Grandma was time I treasured.

My favorite time, though, was when we’d go to sleep at night. She would make me a pallet down beside her bed and hold my hand until I fell asleep. I also got to hear her and Papaw pray together before going to sleep.

They always prayed for me and every member of the family. I knew they did that every night. It was a comfort better than any food could bring.

Breaking Through the Emotion

Grandma was a large woman. I don’t know what she weighed, but I know she weighed at least 200 pounds. She had soft, mushy parts perfect for grandkids to crawl up in her lap, fall into her and feel loved. My emotions were telling me if I became smaller than Grandma had been and wasn’t fixing the foods she fixed, I was rejecting her.

When I saw the truth, I realized how the enemy can use even the most loving memories to set up lies that become some of the fiercest strongholds. When they are wrapped around those we love and cherish, it makes it nearly impossible to separate the lie from the one we love. It is in separating the lies from the person that the stronghold crumbles.

Breaking this stronghold felt like watching someone saw limbs off a tree one at a time from the top down until the stump was finally gone. It took some time because there were so many things in my past that had to be redefined.

Seeing my past in an entirely new light, though, was like seeing a rainbow and sunset all at the same time. Now when I think about Grandma, I picture her as engulfing me in the kind of hug only she could give. I feel love cascading from her every pore. She was the epitome of comfort to me and our entire family. She brought us all together. Family togetherness was her gift.

Breaking the Stronghold

Breaking this stronghold freed me to continue to lose weight and love being me. It freed me to embrace becoming healthy. It freed me to be able to cook things that won’t contribute to others being unhealthy. It freed me to love my family in the right way and not by filling them full of foods that would lead them toward an early grave.

It freed me to reprioritize my memories of Grandma to include the wonderful woman she was and not just the foods she cooked. It freed me to be me. It freed me to follow God in all things.

Where did you learn your relationship with food? It’s a pivotal question I ask my coaching clients because it is likely the source of why we can’t seem to give up certain foods. I’d love to work with you in Overcomers Academy to get to the root of any strongholds that are holding you back on your healthy living journey.

Messianic Rabbi: The Blind Are Still Leading the Blind

Each of us reads the Bible through the lens of our experiences and the experiences of our teachers. These experiences are made up of the things we walk through on our journey, both good and bad, which includes those things we have been taught.

We have all heard the idiom attributed to Julius Caesar, “Experience is the best teacher.” But is that statement really true? What if our experience is based on skewed information or faulty assumptions? For instance, our views on a father will be in some ways blurred by the type of father we have.

If we had a loving father who was a caring provider, our experience allows us one view of our heavenly Father. However, if we had a father who didn’t demonstrate love and was not a caring provider, it would cause us to have a different view of our heavenly Father.

So, in a real way, each of us views the Scriptures through a personalized pair of prescription lenses that are the result of everything we have both experienced and been taught. These lenses change the way we see G-D’s Word.

The truth is that no matter how long you have been reading the Bible, your comprehension will be affected by the lenses of your experiences. This would not be a problem if all of our experiences resulted in a corrective prescription that allowed us to see the sacred text more clearly. However, for many of us, our lenses result in more distortion than correction.

Some of these distortions can be minor, while others can blind us completely to extremely important biblical concepts. Some of these distortions are more easily exposed than others, while other lenses produce such blind spots that they actually blind the wearer to the point where they view heresy as good doctrine.

One of the lenses that causes these blind spots is the doctrine known as replacement theology. This belief teaches that Israel, as G-D’s chosen people, have been replaced by “the church” and that all covenant blessings promised to Israel now belong solely to the church. This belief contradicts entirely the teachings of Paul in Romans 9-11, and this lens ultimately allows the wearer to accept anti-Semitism as acceptable. After all, through this lens, G-D has rejected physical Israel and so must His church, “the New Israel.”

The overt teaching that brought about the distortive lens of replacement theology resulted in the Inquisitions, pogroms, and the Holocaust. All of these were supported by the church and justified because those “Christians” looked at the Jewish people through what they read in their Bibles through distortive lenses.

While some distortive lenses that cause the wearer to see the teaching of the Bible as consistent with replacement theology are overt and easy to diagnose, such as statements like “We are the new Israel” or “G-D divorced Israel, and the church is His new bride,” other lenses are more subtle.

It is one of these subtle distortions that I want to discuss here in hopes that someone reading this will see that they are viewing the Bible through this distortion and put on the corrective lens of truth.

Now, I know that some who read what I am about to write will say, “So what?” or “What’s the big deal?” But please remember that those statements are the foundation of subtle distortion.

OK, here we go. Recently, I once again heard a teacher make the statement that the commandments of the Torah are divided into three categories, or types: sacrificial commandments, ceremonial commandments and moral commandments. Yet nowhere in the entire Bible do we find anything that states this. The Torah does divide the commandments into three categories. These are commandments, ordinances and judgments.

At this point, many of you reading just thought to yourself, “So what?” or “What’s the big deal?” The big deal is that the next statement that follows when someone says the commandments are divided into sacrificial, ceremonial and moral commandments is that today the “church” is only responsible to observe the moral commandments.

This teaching is one of the hidden, or subtle, roots of the heresy of replacement theology. For those wondering “so what,” first you must understand that by dividing the commandments into three groups and then casting off two of them as irrelevant, you attempt to make void nearly two-thirds of the Bible. Second, just a simple reading of the Book of Acts would inform you that the first followers of Yeshua didn’t seem to agree that after the death of the Messiah only the moral commandments were relevant to believers. They continued to go to the temple; they continued to make sacrifices; they continued to keep the feasts and festivals. Third, there is absolutely no way to divide the commandments into those three categories. For instance, is the Shabbat ceremonial, sacrificial or moral? How about Kosher laws?

One might say that the reason we divide the commandments into these categories is because today there is no priesthood and no temple, so we had to divide the commandments in a way that allowed us to know what commandments we could still keep and those that we could no longer keep.

The problem with that thinking is that this is not the first time in history in which there was no temple and no priesthood, and reading the Book of Daniel alone would let us know that he didn’t believe that not having a temple and priesthood did away with any of the commandments.

Another might say the reason we divide the commandments into these categories is because Yeshua (Jesus) fulfilled all of the ceremonial and sacrificial commandments, so now we only need to keep the moral commandments.

The problem with that thinking is that Yeshua actually said the following in Matthew 5:17-19 (TLV):

“Do not think that I came to abolish the Torah or the Prophets! I did not come to abolish, but to fulfill. Amen, I tell you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or serif shall ever pass away from the Torah until all things come to pass. Therefore, whoever breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches others the same, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven. But whoever keeps and teaches them, this one shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.”

Notice He said “until heaven and earth pass away.” This has not yet happened, and like I said above, Paul, Peter, John, James and the rest continued to keep all of the sacrificial and ceremonial commandments for more than 30 years until the destruction of the temple — even after Yeshua died.

When confronted with the above, the next reason given is, “Well, those commandments were given to the Jews.” Before I go on, let’s just note that the commandments were given to the children of Israel and the mixed multitude that surrounded the mountain when Torah was given. But with this statement we find the subtle, hidden message and reason for the division of the commandments into the categories of sacrificial, ceremonial and moral. It is so that the “church” (the “New Israel”) could separate themselves from the Jews. They say the Jews depended on the works of the sacrificial system and the temple ceremony for their salvation. The “church” doesn’t need those; the “church” has Yeshua. So, now only the moral laws are important.

This teaching is the complete opposite of the teaching of Paul in Romans 9-11 that speaks of the Gentiles (wild branches) being grafted into the Olive Tree (Israel).

Please understand that I know we don’t have a temple or a priesthood and that we cannot possibly keep or observe all of the ceremonial or sacrificial laws. But that does not mean they are no longer relevant. As I stated above, Daniel could not make sacrifices and offerings at the temple, so instead he honored those commandments by doing all that he could to observe them. Three times a day at the hours of the sacrifices Daniel looked toward Jerusalem and prayed. He and three Hebrew men also refused to eat foods forbidden to them.

This is how we make these sacrificial commandments relevant to us today. We choose to do all that we can do until the time comes when we can do everything. Now, this may seem like making much ado about nothing, but the reality is that there are only two reasons for redefining and recategorizing the commandments G-D gave to us. The first is to divide the body of Messiah into two groups: Jewish believers and non-Jewish believers. And the second is to provide an excuse for people to not keep those commandments. Both of these reasons are demonically inspired.

I hope that if you have been taught that the commandments are or should be divided into these three unbiblical categories you will take the time to study for yourself. Dig into the Scriptures themselves and allow G-D to clear this distortion from your lenses. Otherwise, we will continue to have the blind leading the blind. {eoa}

Kingdom Economics: Don’t Shoot Yourself in the Foot

Consumer inflation was hotter than expected. The Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) reported that the April consumer price index increased 8.3% over the past year, the second highest in 40 years. Markets were expecting it to be 8.1%. Without food and energy, inflation was still 6.2% (expected 6.0%). Shelter, food, airline fares and new vehicles were the largest contributors.

Producer inflation was also hotter than expected. BLS reported that producer final prices rose 11% over the past year, the second highest on record. Analysts were expecting it to be 10.7%. Without food and energy, producer inflation was still 8.8%. Expect many of the higher producer prices to be passed on to consumers.

Inflation is neither transitory nor narrow-based. The Federal Reserve has been slow to fight inflation. Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell argues that inflation is their priority, but the talk is not matched by strong actions. With more than 8% consumer inflation and 11% producer inflation, the Fed has increased its target interest rate by 1% and has yet to reduce its $8.9 trillion balance sheet.

The federal government is continuing to add fuel to the inflationary fire by striving to increase spending and increase business taxes. I expect high inflation to continue through 2022, 2023 and possibly 2024.

The Federal Reserve and the current administration continue to shoot themselves in the foot when it comes to the U.S. economy. For example, average U.S. gasoline prices have continued to set records every day since mid-April. When we should be increasing supplies to reduce prices, the administration canceled two oil lease sales in the Gulf of Mexico and one in Alaska during the last week alone.

Higher business taxes reduce aggregate supply, which increases inflation and reduces output — the opposite of what I assume are their policy goals. Constraining U.S. energy production not only causes higher prices but also increases energy imports from countries that are not as environmentally conscious as U.S. producers.

Kingdom citizens have many promises and examples regarding the Lord’s faithfulness in blessing His children. As amazing as it may seem, God loves us. He demonstrated His love by sending His only begotten Son to die for our sins so that we may have eternal life with Him.

“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish, but have eternal life” (John 3:16, NASB).

The very nature of God is love. The apostle John wrote, “God is love” (1 John 4:16, NASB). David in Psalm 103 enumerates some of His benefits. Since we know that the Psalms were written through the inspiration of God (2 Tim. 3:16), the Psalm is like God pleading with us to follow Him.

“Bless the LORD, my soul, and do not forget any of His benefits; who pardons all your guilt, who heals all your diseases; who redeems your life from the pit, who crowns you with favor and compassion; who satisfies your years with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle. The LORD performs righteous deeds and judgments for all who are oppressed” (Ps. 103:2-6, NASB).

Current economic, social, political and geopolitical situations are stressful to the multitudes, including Christians. The difference between people of the world and Christians is that we have the solution. The solution is God. As members of the kingdom, we should have righteousness, peace and joy regardless of the environment (Rom. 14:17).

If we feel oppressed, we know the One who will perform righteous acts and judgments on our behalf (Ps. 103:6). We can be strengthened with power through His Spirit in our inner self (Eph. 3:16). And God can do even more than we think or ask for according to the power that works in us.

“Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us” (Eph. 3:20, NASB).

With the Spirit of the living God inside of us, the unfailing promises of the Word of God, and the righteousness, peace and joy that come with citizenship in the kingdom of God, why are so many Christians fearful, anxious, depressed and without hope in this world? Could it be that metaphorically we keep shooting ourselves in the foot? How many of our wounds are self-inflicted?

Would Abraham be our spiritual father if he had not been willing to pack up and go to the land the Lord had promised? Would Joseph have left the prison for royalty if he had not been willing to interpret the dream? Would David have risen to his status as a great king if he had not been willing to face Goliath?

We are told that the prayer of faith can move mountains and if we believe, all things are possible. Would the mountain move, and will things change, if we don’t pray? Will our seed be multiplied if we don’t give? Can we appropriate the promises of God if we don’t know the promises?

Now is the time. Like Esther, we were born for such a time as this. Let us rise boldly in holy righteousness, peace and joy.

Let us adopt the standards of the kingdom instead of yielding to the standards of society. The world is hurting, and we have the solution. Let us quit shooting ourselves in the foot and limiting ourselves with self-inflicted wounds. We should not waste this grand opportunity. {eoa}

The Man Who Spent 23 Minutes in Hell: Will Time Exist in Heaven?

There is a common misconception that time itself will be done away with once we are in heaven. The reason many people believe this is because God is outside of the time domain. But are we?

The Bible contains many verses that indicate that people in heaven will experience the passing of time; however, the burden of time will no longer exist. The pressure we now feel to hurry or wait will be removed.

Some say that time is actually an enemy and is the result of the fall of man in the garden. This is not so. Time existed before the fall.

Remember when God created the earth before there was sin? He established evening and morning, which were the first day, and then the second day, and so on for those six days.

There is also a period of time coming on the earth after the tribulation. It is called the millennium.

According to the Bible, the millennium is a period of time that has been determined by God. This is when Christ will reign on the earth. (See Revelation 20:3.) It will be precisely 1,000 years in duration.

Did you know that time will also exist for those in hell? Revelation chapter 14 states, “the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; and they have no rest day or night” (v. 11, NKJV). This is a reference to the awareness of days and nights. There are additional verses that say the same.

Here on the earth we are all burdened with the pressure of not having enough time. It is like a weight on our shoulders, something we are always aware of. In heaven, though, there will be no shortage of time, as we will be living in eternity. The negative aspects of time will no longer exist. We will be redeemed from its pressure and burden. Time will be only a commodity that we will never exhaust. {eoa}

Jonathan Cahn’s ‘The Harbingers of Things to Come’ Unites People in Prayer, Praise and Worship at Movie Theaters

Moviegoers throughout the country, ask yourselves this poignant question: Have you ever gone to see a film in a public theater and, at the end, heard someone break out in a gospel hymn to praise God? Have you ever seen people break out in prayer following a movie?

Most likely the answer to both of those questions is a resounding no. But then Jonathan Cahn’s The Harbingers of Things to Come, which debuted in 823 theaters nationwide last Thursday night, May 12, is no ordinary movie.

And many of those who went to see the much-anticipated film from the bestselling author of The Harbinger are no ordinary entertainment-seekers. They are believers in Jesus Christ who are hungry for worldwide revival and a move of God that will bring light to the cultural darkness we are seeing these days.

Lisa Hanneman Pickelheimer, from the Cincinnati, Ohio, area, says she witnessed something Thursday night she would never expect at a public movie theater after seeing The Harbingers of Things to Come.

“In our theater, at the end, someone started singing ‘How Great Thou Art,’ and people joined her until there [were] about 10 of us singing it,” Pickelheimer commented on Cahn’s Facebook page. “It was a very special experience.”

In Gardendale, Texas, Salena Bradford McMahon says she witnessed a man who, after the showing of the film, spontaneously broke out in intercession for the country, something that is sorely needed from Christ-followers today.

“It was a life-changing message,” McMahon says. “There was a man who stood up after the movie and began to pray over America and over the audience. It was powerful.”

Cahn, who saw the movie for the first time in a theater Thursday night in New Jersey, was delighted with the audience’s reaction.

“It was more powerful than I had imagined it,” Cahn says. “I attribute that to the Lord’s anointing on those who made it. The people in the movie theater were speechless. Most of them didn’t realize I was there until the end.

“At the end, the people applauded, and then it broke out into spontaneous prayer and intercession for revival,” he says. “I heard that happened all over America. I couldn’t have been more blessed and overwhelmed by what I saw happening in the movie theater and what I heard has happened and is happening around the nation.”

Moviegoers left hundreds of messages on Cahn’s Facebook page following the initial showing of The Harbingers of Things to Come. Here are only a few:

“Lots of prayer at the end. I’ve read part of the books and knew most of it, but it is an excellent wake-up call/prompting, while things are changing.” — Ruth Venuti Clevenger, Port Orange, Florida.

“It was exciting in our theater. The showing, the prayer—all just an amazing experience. Definitely a must-see!” — Kate Luna.

“Have read the books, but so good to see all of the actual locations that were described in the books. Amazing story, builds my faith. Our viewing group was led in prayer. Also got to pray with a couple. Can’t wait to read the next book.” Ann Carroll, Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

“We went to see the movie last night. It was incredible and we were amazed and we could feel the presence of the Lord in the theater. Praying more fervently for our country.” —Dede Evors Jordan, Bluffton, South Carolina.

“Words cannot acclaim the power and anointing on this movie! We too broke out in prayer after it was done! The urgency of where we are at was felt by all!” —Eric Carlson.

“At the end of the movie, my spirit was so stirred and I just couldn’t contain it and started praying out loud. People joined in and it was a beautiful unity moment of prayer that filled the cinema. Thank you so much for such an amazing movie, Rabbi!” —Angel N. Chan.

“It was just amazing. Wish I could see it again. He is such a gift from God for our times!” —Lynn Koch, Clovis, California.

Cahn’s latest book, The Return of the Gods,, is set to release on Sept. 6, 2022. In this book, Cahn takes the reader on a journey from an ancient parable, the ancient inscriptions in Sumer, Assyria and Babylonia that become the puzzle pieces behind what is taking place in our world to this day, specifically in America.

The Return of the Gods is not only one of the most explosive books you’ll ever read, but also one of the most profound. It will reveal the most stunning secrets and truths behind what is happening before your eyes in America and the nations. You will see things, even in your world, in a whole new light.

Thursday night’s premiere was the first of a two-night showing of The Harbingers of Things to Come. For those who did not have the opportunity to see the acclaimed film Thursday night, a second showing will take place next Thursday, May 19, in the same 800 locations. You can purchase your tickets at .

Spirit-Filled Pastor: Marvel’s Dr. Strange Created in Likeness of Prominent 1900s Occult Leader

Joe Schimmel enjoyed watching the first two Spider-Man movies with his kids, but as he watched more superhero movies, he noticed that elements of occultism were slowly becoming more prominent. He also noticed that characters who seemed to represent God were “portrayed to be evil,” while characters who practiced witchcraft were painted as good.

After discerning that something was a little bit off about Marvel movies, Schimmel decided to research Marvel and its ties to the occult. Who he found at the bottom of all of it was an early 1900s British occultist named Aleister Crowley.

Crowley was a prolific writer during his time and a self-proclaimed prophet who taught others how to use sexual immorality to perform magic rituals and how to become proficient at the arts by contacting demonic entities. Schimmel was already thoroughly acquainted with Crowley’s work because of research he had done for one of his first films, They Sold Their Souls for Rock and Roll. In his research, he found Crowley’s work had influenced many famous bands, including Led Zeppelin, David Bowie, The Beatles, and Ozzy Osbourne.

The similarities between Crowley and Dr. Strange seemed unmistakable to Schimmel. He explains it like this: “If I have two different people in this room,” he says, “a follower of Aleister Crowley and a guy that’s really into Dr. Strange, and I started to describe [either Crowley or Strange], and I asked who I’m describing … [the follower of Crowley] would say Crowley. The [Dr. Strange fan] would say Strange.”

Schimmel references multiple similarities between the two. For example, Dr. Strange’s original character in the comics and Aleister Crowley were both British. They were both magicians. They both merged Western occultism and Eastern mysticism. And they both journeyed to the Himalayas.

Schimmel knows that many of these could be coincidences, so he dives in deeper. Crowley called his lair where practiced magic his “sanctum sanctorum.” Dr. Strange casts spells in his sanctum sanctorum. Crowley used the all-seeing eye of Horus in his incantations. Strange uses the all-seeing eye of Agamotto. Crowley had a Scarlet Woman. In the new movie, Dr. Strange works with the Scarlet Witch. Dr. Strange’s original look was even modeled after Crowley’s appearance.

The first time Dr. Strange’s character appeared in a comic, he was introduced as “Dr. Strange: Master of Black Magic.”

As Schimmel kept digging through these remarkable similarities between Strange and Crowley, he investigated the beliefs of the top comic writers. Stephen Englehart, the main writer for Dr. Strange comics in the 1970s, was a member of the Order Templi Orientis, an occult group that continues Crowley’s practice of black magic. Englehart joined the group to learn magic so it could influence his writings.

Crowley’s writings not only influenced Englehart but they also influenced other top comic book writers like Grant Morrison and Alan Moore. Under Moore’s home he keeps a large image of a demonic God. “Through worshipping these entities and practicing Crowley’s magic, he got in touch with a spirit of the visual arts,” says Schimmel. “And it’s through working with these entities that he’s become this incredible writer.”

These might seem like three isolated comic book writers, but Schimmel’s research suggests otherwise. “In the top 10 writers for Marvel and DC, every one of them promotes the occult in one way or another,” Schimmel says. “Almost all of them promoted Aleister Crowley in some way.”

Schimmel doesn’t like to depend on his own theories to prove the links between the occult and these writers. He relies on their own words to show how deep the ties between Crowley and the comic book industry go. “We’ve got the footnotes,” Schimmel says about the evidence. “We do a scholarly job. We’re able to quote these guys left and right.”

Schimmel didn’t research any of this to cause fear or incite a “satanic panic.” He just believes too many Christians have let their guard down concerning the occult, and it’s now such a regular part of our entertainment that we’ve become desensitized to it. “We live in a post-Christian era … and have accepted an occult worldview,” says Schimmel. “A lot of that’s been the conditioning that’s gone on through Disney.”

Disney now owns Marvel, and its latest PG-13 superhero movie, Dr. Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, recently debuted in theaters. Many reviewers praised it and acknowledged that it looks less like a superhero movie and more like a horror movie.

As far as entertainment, Schimmel encourages Christians, “I think the bottom line is test everything, and hold fast to that which is good.” He continues, “We’re not supposed to be conformed to the world, but [the Bible] says, ‘Be transformed by the renewing of [our minds]’ (Rom. 12:2, NIV) and preach the truth.” {eoa}
