Colorado Megachurch Fires Worship Artist Over Alleged Extramarital Affair

Read Time: 1 Minute 56 Seconds

Megachurch New Life Church in Colorado Springs, Colorado, has fired its worship leader over an alleged extramarital relationship—the second time he’s reportedly been let go from a church for moral reasons.

New Life Church Executive Pastor Brian Newberg told Charisma News in an email that Rozier, a former Vertical Worship band member and song writer, was “immediately terminated after we learned of his relationship with a woman from another city.”

Rozier had worked at New Life for more than a year and was part of the megachurch’s band, New Life Worship. Prior to that, Rozier served as the worship pastor at Chicago’s Harvest Bible Chapel in the Chicago area.

“We have already engaged in a communication process with our church,” Newberg said in his email. “Our staff was communicated to last week and our congregation was communicated to in-person at our weekend services.”

Newberg added that the church is “walking alongside [Rozier’s] wife and children to help them heal. Andi is no longer a part of our pastoral team.”

In the early stages of his employment at Harvest, the church removed him from ministry for “moral reasons” before being reinstated following counseling, discipleship and confession, former Harvest Bible Chapel Pastor James MacDonald told “The Roys Report.”

As a member of Vertical Worship, Rozier was featured on several of the band’s albums.

“It was discovered he had been in a sexual relationship with a young woman,” Josh Caterer, a former Harvest worship leader, told “The Roys Report.” Caterer said Rozier was subject to church discipline in 2002.

Rozier served as a worship pastor for nearly two decades at Harvest Bible Chapel in the Chicago area and was a member of its worship band, Vertical Worship, according to The Roy’s Report.

In the early stages of Rozier’s service at Harvest, the church removed him from ministry for moral reasons before being reinstated after counseling, discipleship and confession, former Harvest Bible Chapel Pastor James MacDonald told The Roys Report. Rozier was featured on several Vertical Worship albums.

“It was discovered he had been in a sexual relationship with a young woman,” Josh Caterer, a former Harvest worship leader, told The Roys Report, adding that he was subject to church discipline in 2002.

2023CMPrintcoverIt’s the second time in the last 16 years New Life Church has faced pastor controversy.

Former New Life pastor Ted Haggard was forced to resign after confessing to sexual immorality with a male escort in 2006 in a scandal that also involved illicit drug use.

Charisma News reached out to New Life Church for comment from the church and for contact information for Rozier and is awaiting a reply. {eoa}

Church of England Says Same-Sex Couples Cannot Marry, But Will Receive ‘God’s Blessing’

Read Time: 3 Minutes, 40 Seconds

In what appears to be a blatant contradiction of the truth of God’s word, the Church of England released a statement on Wednesday announcing it will allow congregations to bless same-sex unions but will maintain a traditional definition of marriage.

The subhead for the release on the churchofengland.org website says, “For the first time, under historic plans outlined today, same-sex couples will be able to come to church to give thanks for their civil marriage or civil partnership and receive God’s blessing.”

The Bishops of the Church of England, the release says, will issue an apology later this week to LGBTQI people for the “rejection, exclusion and hostility they have faced in churches and the impact this has had on their lives.”

Furthermore, the Bishops will “urge all congregations in their care to welcome same-sex couples ‘unreservedly and joyfully’ as their reaffirm their commitment to a “radical new Christian inclusion founded founded in scripture, in reason, in tradition, in theology and the Christian faith as the Church of England has received it based on good, healthy and flourishing relationships and in a proper 21st century understanding of being human and of being sexual.”

Note the key phrase “a proper 21st century understanding of being human and being sexual.”

Never mind what Jesus said in Matthew 19:4-6: He answered, “Have you not read that He who made them at the beginning ‘made them male and female,’ and said, ‘For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh? So, they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore, what God has joined together, let no man put asunder.”

Not surprisingly, there may be a connection between this new edict and the 2021 Census, which late last year revealed that Christianity had become a minority in the UK with only 46.2% of people identifying themselves as Christians, a 13-point percentage drop over the past decade.

Justin Welby, the Archbishop of Canterbury, said in response to the proposal, “I am under no illusions that what we are proposing today will appear to go too far for some and not nearly far enough for others, but it is my hope that what we have agreed will be received in a spirit of generosity, seeking the common good.”

The proposals by the Church of England come after a six-year-period of “listening, learning and discernment known as ‘Living in Love and Faith’ and will be outlined in a report to the Church’s General Synod, which meets in London next month.

In the United States, some denominations have affirmed same-sex marriage and it has caused division within the denomination, most visibly in the United Methodist Church. The LGBTQ debacle has caused hundreds, perhaps thousands of UMC churches to leave the denomination within the past year.

It will offer the fullest possible pastoral provision without changing the Church’s doctrine of Holy Matrimony for same-sex couples through a range of draft prayers, known as “Prayers of Love and Faith,” which could be used voluntarily in churches for couples who have marked a significant stage of their relationship such as a civil marriage or civil partnership.

There will be a commitment to produce new pastoral guidance in relation to the discernment of vocation, replacing the 1991 statement “Issues in Human Sexuality“, to which all clergy currently are asked to assent.

To emphasize its point, the Church of England attempts to back up its new policy by citing 1 John 4:16, which reads, “God is love, and those who abide in love abide in God, and God abides in them.”

The “Prayers of Love and Faith,” would be part of reflecting the denomination’s “theological diversity.” Following the debate at Synod, the House of Bishops will then refine the prayers and then commend them for use, officials said.

2023CMPrintcoverAndrea Williams, chief executive of Christian Concern and former lay member of the General Synod, said in a statement on Wednesday the apology to the LGBTQ community could also prove to be a “turning point” and signal the decline of the CofE.

“Christianity teaches that sexual expression is reserved for marriage between one man and one woman. Any other form of sexual relationships are sexually immoral.

“The Bible calls it sin. The Church of England is now encouraging the celebration of sexual immorality,” she added. “Let’s be clear this is a critical moment and will go down in history as a turning point in the decline and fall of the Church of England…unless these proposals can be decisively resisted by the faithful in Synod.”

Alveda King: Attempt on His Life in 1958 Didn’t Harden MLK’s Heart

Read Time: 2 Minutes

Evangelist Alveda King says there was no disputing her uncle Martin Luther King Jr.’s love for the Lord and his passion for preaching God’s Word.

But almost as important, she says, is that her fiery uncle also loved people. In this video on the day the nation celebrates Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Alveda shares some heartwarming stories about MLK. One of them truly embodies a Christ-like attitude toward a woman who tried to kill him while he was signing autographs of his book, “Stride Toward Freedom,” at a department store in Harlem, New York.

King was in New York City to speak at a crusade with Evangelist Billy Graham.

“He had gone to speak alongside Evangelist Billy Graham, and during his visit, a disturbed woman came up and stabbed my uncle in his chest with a letter opener,” Alveda says. “She was an African American woman, she didn’t agree with his message and she was perhaps demented as well.

“I wasn’t there, but it has been told to me that, even in distress with a letter opener in his body, Uncle MLK Jr. reached out to her and tried to ask her, ‘what’s wrong,’ and ‘why did she do it.’ He was compassionate toward her despite what she did.

“My mother was there and tells that story. He was forgiving toward her even though she wanted to do him harm. In the midst of all of the reality, we know that my uncle was a very loving, caring person.

Izola Ware Curry, a 42-year-old woman approached King with a seven-inch steel letter opener and drove the blade into the upper left side of his chest. King was rushed to Harlem Hospital and underwent more than two hours of surgery to repair the wound.

According to the King Institute website, doctors who operated on the 29-year-old civil rights leader said that had MLK Jr. sneezed or coughed after being stabbed, the weapon “would have penetrated the aorta,” and that “he was just a sneeze away from death.”

2023CMPrintcoverOn a lighter note, Alveda King said her mother, Naomi Barber King, says she spoke to MLK Jr. while he was in the hospital and he told her, “I sure wish I had some of your sweet potato pie.”

Naomi promptly baked one and sent MLK Jr.’s wife, Corretta Scott King, to New York with it. Alveda King says she was told the pie was still warm when MLK Jr. received it.

Watch this video to hear personal stories of MLK Jr. during Alveda King’s interview with Charisma News’ John Matarazzo. {eoa}

Researchers Discover Yet More Physical Proof of the Bible’s Legitimacy

Read Time: 2 Minutes 13 Seconds

While many scoffers and skeptics would like to push aside the Bible as a “fairytale” or as “fantasy,” researchers continue to discover physical evidence that the Word of God is indeed true.

The Moabite Stone, also referred to as the Mesha Steele, was recently determined to contain explicit references to King David, the Jerusalem Post reported. The basalt stone slab was discovered in fragments in 1868 roughly 15 miles east of the Dead Sea and has been residing in the Louvre museum in Paris.

Until now, scholars couldn’t be entirely certain that the references on the tablet to King David were being correctly deciphered. That is no longer the case.

Researchers are also continuing excavation of the Pool of Siloam, a place where Jesus healed a blind and that has long been considered a sacred site to Jews and Christians.

While the Moabite Stone was damaged in 1869, reports say, a paper mache impression of the inscription was captured before the damage occurred.

The Moabite Stone is etched with a lengthy account of King Mesha of Moab going to war with Israel. The events described correspond, albeit imprecisely, with a similar account in 2 Kings chapter 3, the Jerusalem Post Reported.

The text of the slab also contains references to the Israelite god as well as the “House of David” and the “Altar of David.”

The Jerusalem Post reported that “The Moabite phrase “House of David” consists of five letters: bt dwd. “Bt” is similar to today’s Hebrew word for house—bayit—which is beit in its construct form. And “dwd” can be thought of like modern Hebrew’s daled vav (the letter, in this case, is actually waw) daled which spells the name “David.”

Until now, only the first and fourth letters of the series, bet and waw were completely clear.

In a late-2022 article entitled ‘Mesha’s Stele and the House of David’ in the winter issue of “Biblical Archeology Review” researchers André Lemaire and Jean-Philippe Delorme re-examined the evidence. They wrote:

2023CMPrintcover“In 2015, a team from the West Semitic Research Project of the University of Southern California took new digital photographs of both the restored stela and the paper squeeze. The team used a method called Reflectance Transformation Imaging (RTI), in which numerous digital images are taken of an artifact from different angles and then combined to create a precise, three-dimensional digital rendering of the piece. This method is especially valuable because the digital rendering allows researchers to control the lighting of an inscribed artifact so that hidden, faint or worn incisions become visible.”

The Jerusalem Post reported that, “More recently in 2018, the Louvre took these new, high-resolution pictures and projected light onto them coming directly through the 150-year-old squeeze paper. Thus, researchers were able to glean a much clearer picture of the ancient records. This, explain Lemaire and Delorme, is how they were able to see evidence of the other three letters, taw (like modern Hebrew tav), dalet, and dalet.” {eoa}

Tim Sheets: God’s Children Will Reap Major ‘Inheritance Benefits’ in 2023

Read Time: 2 Minutes 11 Seconds

Prophet Tim Sheets has great news for the heirs of the kingdom of Christ. The Holy Spirit recently revealed to Sheets that, in 2023, God’s promises made over the last decade will be fulfilled and that His sons and daughters will reap “inheritance benefits.”

“We are moving into a time when great victories will be seen in the individual lives of the heirs of the kingdom,” says Sheets, the founder of AwakeningNow Prayer Network and the Pastor of Oasis Church in Middletown, Ohio.

“It is going to happen for many of God’s children. Great family breakthroughs will be activated in the lives of born-again ones who declare ownership of the promises, the ones who will say ‘this promise is mine. The kingdom atmosphere is bringing them into season. When something is in season, you can partake in it, reap it. A kingdom shift in atmosphere is going to make it easier to receive inheritance blessings from the Father. Great breakthroughs are coming.”

Sheets prophesied recently that kingdom heirs are moving into a time when they will be refreshed and strengthened. Sheets says it’s never been God’s will for kingdom citizens to be weak.

“It’s not God’s will for the citizens of Christ’s kingdom to be weak, feeble and needy,” Sheets says. “He wants them strong, He wants them courageous and He wants them to be blessed to carry out the family business until Christ returns. … He’s going to infuse a supernatural strength into the heirs. We are moving into times where we are going to receive outpourings of anointing that are going to free our lives individually. This is going to free some of you where you are not going to be recognizable as to who you have been in the past.”

Sheets also prophesied that these outpourings of anointing are going to produce a freedom in kingdom citizens that they have never seen before.”

“These outpourings are going to free dreams,” Sheets says. “They are going free destinies and callings. “They are going to free purposes. They are going to free lives to live in the Father’s freedoms. “I heard Holy Spirit say these words: The heirs will begin to breathe fresh air. Even now, this is ongoing right now. It is being breathed from the Father onto the sons and the daughters.

“Emotions will resurrect, feelings will resurrect, minds will resurrect; physical bodies bound by spirits of infirmity, diseases and all manner of sickness will resurrect. Broken hearts will resurrect. Those living skeletal lives of existence will resurrect. Those plagued by demon fatigue will resurrect. Fresh breath is going to blow this away. Demon fatigue is going to leave the heirs.

Watch this video to see what other great things God has in store for His sons and daughters in 2023.

The ‘Undeniable’ Proof of Where Jesus Miraculously Healed a Blind Man

Read Time: 3 Minutes 8 Seconds

The Pool of Siloam, where Jesus healed a blind man and whom Pastor John Hagee says is one of the most inspiring stories of the Bible, will open soon to the public and will put on display yet another affirmation of the validity of Holy Scripture.

Just prior to the New Year, the Israel Antiquities Authority, the Israel National Parks Authority and the City of David Foundation announced that the site will be open to the public in the near future for the first time in more than 2,000 years, Fox News Digital reported. The Pool of Siloam is a site cherished by both Christians and Jews, and religious leaders, including some Christians, are touting it as indisputable evidence that God’s Word is indeed true.

“When I think of this news, I think of another phrase from the Hebrew Bible, ‘My ears have heard of you, but now my eyes have seen you,'” Rev. Johnnie Moore, president of the Congress of Christian Leaders, told Fox News Digital.

“In the Pool of Siloam, we find evidence of history preserved for us, revealed at just the right time. This is a truly historic event. Theologically, it affirms Scripture, geographically it affirms history and politically it affirms Israel’s unquestionable and unrivaled link to Jerusalem. Some discoveries are theoretical. This one is an undeniable. It is proof of the story of the Bible and of its people, Israel.”

Hagee, the founder and Chairman of Christians United for Israel, told Fox News Digital: “The Pool of Siloam’s excavation is highly significant to Christians around the world. It was at this site that Jesus healed the blind man (John 9), and it is at this site that, 2,000 years ago, Jewish pilgrims cleansed themselves prior to entering the Second Temple.

“The Pool of Siloam and the Pilgrimage Road, both located within the City of David, are among the most inspiring archeological affirmations of the Bible. Christians are deeply blessed by the City of David’s work and Israel’s enduring commitment to ensuring religious freedom to all who visit and live in the Holy Land, especially Jerusalem—the undivided capital of Israel.”

Fox News reported that a small section of the pool, which has been fully excavated, has been accessible to the public for several years. But the vast majority of the pool is being excavated and will either be opened piecemeal or once the entire site is unearthed. The archeological project to fully excavate the pool will last a few years. There is a plan to build a space for visitors to the pool to view the ongoing excavation.

“Despite ongoing efforts at the United Nations and Palestinian leadership to erase Jerusalem’s heritage, in a few years time, the millions of people visiting the City of David annually will literally be able to walk in the footsteps of the Bible, connecting with the roots of their heritage and identity,” Ze’ev Orenstein, the director of affairs for the City of David Foundation in Jerusalem, told Fox News Digital.

The pool was first built around 2,700 years ago as part of Jerusalem’s water system in the eighth century B.C. The construction unfolded during the reign of King Hezekiah as cited in the Bible in the book of 2 Kings 20:20, according to the two Israeli agencies and the City of David Foundation.

According to estimates, the Pool of Siloam passed through many stages of construction and reached the size of 1¼ acres.

“This news means that one of the most important archeological discoveries in history can soon be seen by visitors from all over the world,” Moore says. “It will affirm all they believe. Having faith is part of worshipping God, but faith alone isn’t required to believe. There are historic facts attesting to the truth of Scripture. In the Pool of Siloam, we find evidence of history preserved for us, revealed at just the right time. This is a truly historic event.

Theologically, it affirms Scripture, geographically it affirms history and politically it affirms Israel’s unquestionable and unrivaled link to Jerusalem. Some discoveries are theoretical. This one is an undeniable. It is proof of the story of the Bible and of its people, Israel.” {eoa}

Patricia King Delivers 4 Powerful Prophetic Words That Will Greatly Impact the Body of Christ in 2023

Read Time: 3 Minutes, 38 Seconds

As a prophetic minister, Patricia King sees as one of her kingdom duties to send out words of encouragement to the body of Christ.

Recently, King says she received four prophetic visions that will give the body hope and enthusiasm to move into 2023 with confidence, knowing believers can trust the Lord and know that his Words will come to pass.

King revealed these four visions recently to the body:

“These are words that you can rejoice in because we want to have our faith built up for the future, for the new year and know what God is going to do. There are, of course, as we know, some hard times and chaotic situations. If we look at the stormy things around us that might be coming in the new year, we could get discouraged, but God does not want us to get discouraged. He wants us to be full of faith and to keep our eyes on Jesus in the midst of the storm. Don’t look at the storm, look at Jesus.

“These will build your faith for the new year so you can get excited about what God is doing. All of these are visions. …

1. GenZers and Millennials – “The first thing I saw was the hand of the Lord moving on the generation of millennials and GenZ’s together. Those generations are what I saw in my mind. I saw anointed leaders emerging, even from some of the younger ones who are going to be moving in the power of the Holy Spirit. What I saw was conviction that the Holy Spirit was giving them toward love, faith, righteousness and truth. They were moving in miracles and signs and wonders. I really believe that we’re going to see an explosion of signs, wonders and miracles in this new year. Some of these younger leaders, as they remain steadfast, immovable and unshakeable, they’re going to grow up and be generals in their generation—historical generals in the body of Christ as we prepare for the coming of the Lord. What I see is the Spirit of God being poured out on that generation.

2. Like the Jesus Movement “I saw a grassroots movement emerging right out of the soil of the earth that is going to be Jesus focused. This company of GenZ’s and Millennials are in the middle of this forthcoming movement, rising up from the earth. It will be similar to the Jesus Movement, only a bit different. It’s going to have different elements to it, a different personality. It’s not just about anointing or ministry or missions, it’s going to be Jesus, Jesus, Jesus and all that Jesus is. He’s going to be magnified in this coming season. There is going to be a great harvest. The harvest has already begun.

3. Three-corded strand – “Thirdly, I saw a three-corded strand—it was like this cord that was unbreakable. We know that we have seen an emphasis on the prophets and the apostles over the last 25 or 30 years. In this season, I see evangelists becoming predominant. They are not just like ordinary evangelists; it’s like they have working in their DNA, apostolic and prophetic threads. It’s a three-corded strand that will not be broken. We need more of these because they are going to be prophetic in their perceptions, they are going to be apostolic. They will be able to build people in the faith, equip them and establish them in kingdom ministry and moving the gospel forward.

4. Plumb Line of love – “And finally, I saw a plumb line of love coming down out of heaven and into the earth. You are going to see an emphasis on the love of God. The Lord has been speaking to me clearly about this. God is raising up a people who refuse to be offended. It’s almost like the Holy Spirit is going to be putting a demand for the love of God to be made manifest, especially in His people. We’re going to have a voice to share that with the nations, calling people to account to be more loving in the midst of violence, slander and hatred and ridicule. God is going to raise up a standard against it.

“I think these four Words will encourage you. 2023 is going to be a great year. The devil is at work, no doubt about it. But God is greater than the devil all the time.

“We’re not going to focus on what the devil is doing, not going to focus on the storms out there. We are living in a Goshen, a place that is safe and blessed in the Lord. We’re going to focus on Jesus. We’ll go out from there and deliver the message of the gospel so other people can come to the Lord and be blessed as well.” {eoa}

Millions Flock to See David Jeremiah’s New Film ‘Why The Nativity?’

Read Time: 3 Minutes 9 Seconds

In 2006, pastor, evangelist and author David Jeremiah wrote a book called “Why the Nativity?”, a book designed to answer 25 questions people have about Christmas.

It’s a book that answers questions like, why do Christians make a big deal about a baby born in a small town—Bethlehem? Why Bethlehem? Why Jesus? And, why does it make a difference to me?

In the book, Dr. Jeremiah explains for both believers and skeptics alike why it’s important to examine the birth of that baby—Jesus.

Little did Dr. Jeremiah know that, 16 years later, he would produce a movie of the same name and that it would draw more than 13 million views on YouTube alone, much less other venues. While his book in 2006 touched millions of lives, the docudrama, which allows viewers to experience the sights and sounds of the first Christmas in Bethlehem, has impacted millions upon millions more.

Paul Joiner, who is the head of the creativity department at Jeremiah’s Turning Point Ministries, helped spearhead the effort to make the book into a feature-length movie. Joiner wrote the script from the book, and it has obviously become a huge success.

“He (Joiner) had actually storyboarded the whole film before I even knew we were going to do this,” Jeremiah told Charisma News’ John Matarazzo in a recent interview. “Then, when I saw the vision they had, well … It was kind of like a groundswell that happened in our hearts.

“We began to realize that this could be an amazing thing if we do this right. We didn’t want it to be compared to other Christian films. We wanted to do a Hollywood film on the virgin birth of Christ, and do it at that level. That was just our vision. That’s what we set out to do.”

When watching “Why the Nativity?”, viewers will have a front-row seat to the nativity story as they witness Old Testament prophets foretelling the birth of Jesus; Gabriel appearing to Mary; Joseph and Mary traveling the road to the crowded city of Bethlehem; angels appearing to shepherds; the bright star guiding the wise men from the East and baby Jesus lying in a manger in a humble stable.

Jeremiah also answers the question of why the Old Testament prophecies that predicted the birth of Jesus in Bethlehem are so important to the Christmas story. Jeremiah says that, while they were making the docudrama, “it really looked like and felt like you were in Bethlehem.”

“I’ve been to Bethlehem four or five times, so it was pretty realistic,” Jeremiah says.

With millions of viewers, Jeremiah is keenly aware of the film’s impact. What he hopes the audience will understand is that Jesus’ birth was truly a miracle, and it happened in a supernatural way.

“Jesus didn’t just show up in any other way,” Jeremiah says. “I like to tell people that God sent His Son to us and delivered Him through the birth canal of a woman. He didn’t show up as an adult ready to redeem the world. He showed up as a helpless baby, and He showed up in that way to demonstrate to us that we’re helpless without God, that we don’t have any way to show up before God. This was a real story. These people were real people, real animals, real angst in the setting.

“One of my favorite moments is when Joseph discovers Mary is pregnant, and that he knows it’s not his baby because they haven’t been together. At the end, I think, for the first time when I saw this, I realized what it must have been like for Joseph. He loved this woman; he believes she was a pure woman. And now, she’s pregnant. He doesn’t understand it. He hasn’t heard from the angel yet. I think the movie portrays the suffering he went through. They ridicule him because he’s been so foolish to believe in this woman. That’s the way it was. That’s what was happening. The reality of that, in the way that we see how the story was, was perhaps the most important moment.” {eoa}

WATCH: Todd White Talks With Man Resurrected From the Dead After Horrific Zipline Accident

Read Time: 2 Minutes, 27 Seconds

Because God had resurrected him from the dead, James wasn’t about to resign himself to a life as a quadriplegic. He knew his God was much, much bigger than that.

After a zipline accident in June left him clinically dead for a few minutes, James, from Little Rock, Arkansas, was revived, but doctors diagnosed him as a quadriplegic and told him he would never walk again. But James, who already had the faith of a mustard seed, says he refused to believe that report and chose instead to hang onto God’s promises for his healing.

He had seen “thousands” of others healed after praying for him, so why not him?

Soon after, James began to move his arms, and then his legs. It was then he knew that his faith wasn’t wasted and his standing on the Word of God was not vain. He began to walk again, just like he had prior to the accident.

“I fell off a zipline, and I was actually dead,” James said recently in a video that featured evangelist Todd White. “I died for around 10 or 15 minutes and was resurrected from the dead. The doctors said, ‘well, he’s back, but this is one of those Chris Reeve Superman accidents, so quadriplegia was the diagnosis. That meant that nothing below my neck may have ever worked again.

“I told the doctors, you don’t know Jesus. Todd (White) came, he and his crew, and they prayed. When man doesn’t have a way, God has a way, and I am so thankful. God’s promises are true. I just praise God for people who walk in it and believe in it. It’s not based on what you see, but on the truth.”

James’ pastor had told White previously of the effect James was having on people, laying hands on them and praying for them, and seeing them healed. James’ tireless efforts as an evangelist himself were not wasted.

“In June, we were asked to come to the hospital here in Little Rock and pray for this guy who had fallen from a zipline,” White says. “We were told he would possibly be a quadriplegic, abut we were believing for God’s healing. I’m telling you, Jesus is so amazing.

“We were there that day and he (James) couldn’t move. He was in a hospital bed hooked up to a lot of tubes. He shared his heart a little bit and we prayed for him. My whole team was there. The doctor’s report was bad, bad, bad. But Jesus’ report was that he wouldn’t become a quadriplegic. Here he is, four months later, and Jesus made this guy whole.”

Fully recovered, James is now back out into the world to do ministry as God has called him, preaching the gospel and laying hands on the sick and afflicted.

“Jesus loves us so much, so never give up,” James says. “I’ve seen thousands of healings, and kinds of incredible stuff. Seeing the love of God touch people, like he did me, is so amazing. I am so grateful and I praise God forever for what he has done for me and is doing for others.” {eoa}

Jonathan Cahn Warns America of the Fruition of Jesus’ Parable in Matthew 12

Read Time: 1 Minute, 56 Seconds

In Matthew 12, Jesus spoke one of his many parables. Beginning in verse 43, He warns that:

“When an unclean spirit goes out of a man, it passes through dry places seeking rest, but finds none. Then it says, ‘I will return to my house from which I came.’ And when it comes, it finds it empty, swept and put in order. Then it goes and brings with itself seven other spirits more evil than itself, and they enter and dwell there. And the last state of that man is worse than the first. So shall it be also with this evil generation.” (vv. 43-45).

In his blockbuster book “The Return of the Gods,” Jonathan Cahn expounds upon that warning. In an interview with Amanda Grace of Ark of Grace Ministries, Cahn explains:

“Jesus gave a parable, and it’s the parable of the spirit. He said if a spirit leaves a man, it goes looking for a place to dwell. I’m going to go back to my house, back to the gods, because they inhabit people. He finds the house empty, swept clean. He goes back and he gets his friends, seven other demonic spirits. … They go back, they repossess the man, or the house, and the Lord says the last state is worse than the first. In Matthew, Jesus says ‘so it shall be with this generation.’ It’s an entire generation, so now we’re talking about something very big …

Jonathan Cahn Book“The ultimate warning of it is this: Any nation or any civilization, any culture that has been delivered of these things, this paganism, these spirits, these gods, if it ever turns away from God, if it ever starts emptying its house of God, then the spirits that were cast out, the same ones are coming back to the house, and they are coming back to the culture …. The gods will return and when they return, they are coming back to repossess it. When they come back, they are coming back worse than before … In other words, what’s coming is going to be worse than it was in paganism.”

Cahn gave this warning to America:

“This warning is to the West. It’s happening. So, what’s been happening for the last half century or so in America? We are experiencing a case of repossession; the ancient pagan spirits are inhabiting our culture and they are paganizing it. Their aim is to take a Christian culture and turn it into a pagan one.
