What This Bethel Pastor Learned When God Said, ‘Give Me Your Boys’

With a background as an addict who became homeless, Bethel pastor and seer prophet Jenna Winston knows about family struggles. With her keen spiritual insights, she seeks to help keep others from going down the same destructive paths she did.

She also says God showed her “how many of us carry an unhealthy emotional responsibility for friends and family. We all do it,” she says. And she believes it’s an area where “God is trying to draw us into trusting him more.”

Winston shares the story on a recent episode of The Seer Prophet on Charisma News. “I had gone into a yearlong faith-based recovery program. And it wasn’t long after I’d graduated that the Lord called me to ministry school, and I knew that I was going to be moving. Well, at the time, the relationship hadn’t been fully restored with my boys … And you know, I think for a while there, they thought Mom just jumped on this Jesus bandwagon. But I also knew that they were hurting; they were making choices that were maybe not healthy for themselves.

She recognized the pain she and her ex-husband had caused, she says, and she wanted to help. “Because now I knew Jesus, I knew the answer. I knew what He was capable of. I knew the freedom, and I wanted that for my boys,” Winston says.

“About three months before I moved to Redding … The Lord one day so clearly says to me, ‘Jenna, give Me your boys.’

“I said, ‘Jesus, I give you my boys. I lay them down, Lord, I just give them to You, Lord. Have Your way.’

“The next day, Jesus says, ‘Jenna, give Me your boys.

“I said, ‘Jesus, I give You my boys.’ … and every single day for months this went on. … I would go through visions of carrying them to the feet of Jesus and laying them at the altar,” Winston says. “I was saying all the right words, and my heart told I was wanting that. But then about 10 days before I was going to move to Redding, and it had been about three months of Jesus asking me this every day. I remember being frustrated. And I was like, ‘What does that look like? What do You even mean? I’m giving You my boys every single day.”

Prophet: Exercise Wisdom, Caution When Interpreting Dreams and Visions

A buzz continues to travel around the charismatic and prophetic world about an Assemblies of God pastor who says he had several dreams related to the coronavirus, the 2020 election, financial collapse and more. Scripture teaches us that God can certainly speak through dreams. But how much stock should believers place in the dreams of this pastor?

Prophet Rebecca Greenwood addresses the topic of dreams and their interpretation on a recent episode of the Victorious Prophetic Warfare podcast on the Charisma Podcast Network. She shares her own practice when God gives her a dream. “When I receive dreams, especially If they’re involving a national or if it’s very international in focus, I will spend a lot of time in prayer and intercession, seeking the Lord, seeking what His Word says, really saying, ‘Lord, show me the interpretation of this dream.’

“I have people around me that I trust that are very gifted in dream interpretation, not that we can’t interpret our own dreams, but there are certain dreams when I have them or certain visions … so that can be extremely detailed,” Greenwood says. “And so many times I will send those to those that I trust, ask them to pray into it: ‘What are you hearing? What are you feeling or sensing?’

“Those who are very gifted in the prophetic who have been voices in my life, many times I will send [the prophetic words or visions to] them and say … ‘What do you think about this?'” Greenwood says. “‘Does this bear witness with you? Do you have words of wisdom for me? Is this for intercessory purposes, only for a select group of prayer warriors? Is this this revelation that needs to be shared with the entire body of Christ to prepare the body of Christ and to mobilize the body of Christ for intercession?'”

Vision America Founder: If ACLU Is to Succeed, ‘Good Men Will Have to Be Destroyed’

“If the ACLU and its allies are going to succeed, then good men have to be destroyed.”

So says pastor and founder of Vision America Rick Scarborough, host of the Mixing Church and State God’s Way podcast on the Charisma Podcast Network. He has studied the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) and its activities through the years and is convinced, he says, that “The American Civil Liberties Union is an anti-American organization, carrying out the evil intent of its communist founder, Roger Baldwin. The fact that so few people in the U.S. are familiar with this evil man is a testament to the power of the left, especially those in the media to suppress the truth from the people of our nation about this organization.

“Thankfully, their veneer of respectability is being peeled away by men like Alan Sears and Craig Osten, who through their book, The ACLU vs. America, set forth the truth about the ACLU and expose what they believe,” Scarborough says, adding, “I hope to awaken a few more people to the intent of this diabolical league of lawyers and their accessories to the courts. Few organizations on earth, including terrorist organizations overseas, pose a greater threat to American ideals than the ACLU.”

Scarborough also points out that “for more than 200 years, this nation’s leaders made no apology for the acknowledgement of God. Undeterred, the [11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals] cited the abridgement of the separation clause” in its judgment against Judge Roy Moore and the public display of the Ten Commandments.

However, “Judge Moore … was and is a personal friend. Many of you know his name has been synonymous with accusations made while he was running for the U.S. Senate— salacious accusations—but I’ve known this man up close and personal,” Scarborough says. “I’ve seen the depth of his personal devotion to Christ, his incredible knowledge of God’s Word. I don’t know of any other adult who can quote such lengthy passages of Scripture and history, because of his great mind.

“But he serves as an example of what the left will do to anyone who on behalf of Jesus Christ takes a bold and public stand,” Scarborough says. “We are living increasingly in the age of lawlessness. And if the ACLU and their allies are going to succeed, then good men have to be destroyed.”

Former Satanic High Priest: The Church Is ‘Sleeping With the Devil’

For 25 years, John Ramirez worshipped the devil. In fact, he says, he was “a general in the kingdom of darkness.” Now, he spends his life ministering to Christians, teaching them to walk in the power of the Spirit and fight the powers and principalities that consumed so much of his life.

He shares his story on the Revival Lifestyle podcast with host Isaiah Saldivar on the Charisma Podcast Network. And what may surprise believers is that Ramirez says the church has neither the weapons or ability to fight Satan. “The church doesn’t have arsenals to fight back with. The church does not put the devil in his place. The church will not set the captives free. The church doesn’t know how to teach spiritual warfare,” he says.

“How is it that in the church today, we’re not confronting the devil head-on?” Ramirez asks. “We talk about the devil on Sunday; we talk about the devil, and we don’t confront the devil. We don’t confront the devil because you know what? Either you don’t confront the devil because you don’t know spiritual warfare, or you don’t confront the devil because you’re in bed with the devil, and you can’t curse a devil that you’re sleeping with.”

His heart is broken for the church because, Ramirez says, “Christians, awesome brothers and sisters sit in the church fragmented, hurting, in pain, mentally destroyed … because you know one thing about the devil, one thing about witchcraft, if you can’t beat the devil here in your mind, you can’t beat him in the battlefield. If you can’t beat him here, you can’t beat him in the battlefield.

“A lot of Christians go to the battlefield to fight, but they’re defeated here,” Ramirez says. “If the devil has space, if the devil is renting property, real estate, in your mind, if you have strongholds in your mind … you can’t go into the battlefield and fight the good fight because you are already defeated.”

Prophet Answers: Can Children Hear God’s Voice?

How do we know we are hearing from God? Many adults struggle with this question for themselves. But can children hear His voice?

Prophet Kent Simpson explores this topic in a recent episode of The School of Prophetic Knowledge podcast on the Charisma Podcast Network. A dramatic experience he had as a child convinced him children can hear from God, and he says that’s why Jesus said, “Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me” (Matt. 19:14b, KJV).

Simpson says when he was 9 years old, he was spending two weeks at his grandmother’s house, 60 miles from his parents’. His parents called late one evening, he says. “And they were telling my grandmother they were coming to pick us up … But something really happened that night. Out of the drizzling rain, I heard God speak to me so clearly. And He told me that there’s going to be an accident, and it will be fatal. And He was talking about my parents.

“Now, this came to me by faith so strongly that there was no denying the fact that they were going to have a wreck,” Simpson says. “But I tried like everything to get my grandmother to let me talk to them. And she kept shooing me away … But as soon as she hung up the phone, I said, ‘Why didn’t you let me talk to him?’

“She said, ‘Well, they’ll be here in an hour,’ Simpson says. “And I said, ‘No, they won’t. They’re going to have a wreck.’ Well, she thought I was just nervous or tired. You know, she didn’t think too much about it.”

Simpson’s parents’ car was hit by a drunk driver, he says, and his mother was killed. For many years, he wondered, How did I know? But after he was baptized in the Holy Spirit many years later, he says, “I can understand now who this voice was that I’ve been hearing from time to time in my life.”

That voice was the Holy Spirit, Simpson says. And hearing from God has guided him over and over in his life, taking him from an entry-level position in banking to the presidency of the bank and beyond. Why God Gave This Man a Life-Changing Vision of Hell

Back in 1988, Bill Wiese had what he calls “a supernatural vision” of hell. It scared him so much that he has spent much of the rest of his life telling the story and informing others about hell’s awful realities.

Bill shares with his wife, Annette, on a recent episode of the 23 Minutes in Hell podcast on the Charisma Podcast Network that all believers need to know more about hell. The worst part about his vision, he says, was the understanding God gave him that “you will never, ever escape this. That’s what He wanted me to experience,” Bill says. “But heaven is forever also, and nobody has to go to this place. God gives them a free will to choose, and He’s trying throughout their whole life to keep them out. He warns them every which way to get their attention. But He gives them a free will.”

Annette says people have pointed out the Luke 16 passage, where the rich man asked Abraham to send Lazarus back to earth to warn his brothers. “Abraham said they wouldn’t believe even the dead returning. So some have asked Bill, so why would God send you?” Annette says.

“I don’t fit that scenario for two reasons. No. 1, I wasn’t dead. I’m not coming back from the dead; this was just a vision. And No. 2, I’m not telling anyone to look at me and be persuaded. I’m just a signpost to point them to the Scriptures. … That’s all that matters is the Word of God.”

Why Recent SCOTUS Employment Discrimination Ruling Calls Us to Pray, Now More Than Ever

Three weeks ago, the Supreme Court shocked the nation with its landmark decision regarding employment discrimination on the basis of sex. Although this presents grave cause for concern, it is also a matter for deep prayer.

President of Intercessors for America David Kubal says on the Headline Prayer podcast on the Charisma Podcast Network that the Supreme Court made one decision based on three separate court cases, but “The court case Bostock vs. Clayton County, Georgia, was the lead,” he says. “The Bostock ruling involves the question of what is employment discrimination on the basis of sex, prohibited by Title IX of the 1964 Civil Rights Act. The term ‘sex’ was determined to include anatomy, behavior, gender, identity and attraction.

“Now all of these things are within the broadest definition of sex and at the core of a protected class, legally requiring a governmentally prescribed treatment,” Kubal says. “Here’s an explanation of discrimination written by Justice Neil Gorsuch, in his majority opinion: ‘An employer who fires an individual for being homosexual or transgender fires that person for traits or actions it would not have questioned in members of a different sex.’

“In other words, because a woman wears dresses to work, you cannot discriminate against a man who wears dresses to work,” Kubal says. “Let me say that again. The rationale is because a woman wears dresses to work, you can’t discriminate against a man who wears dresses to work.

“Let that sink in. This is a twisted rationale that legally protects the idea that there is no difference between male and female,” Kubal says. “It’s not that everyone is equal. This ruling really declares everyone is the same. The God-given, beautiful distinction between male and female was blurred even before this ruling when male athletes competed in female competitions and when men used female bathrooms and more, because men and women are not the same. This ruling treats everyone the same and calls it ‘equality.’

“Obergefell [the landmark 2015 Supreme Court case that legalized homosexual marriage] redefined God’s definition of marriage. Bostock declares God’s differences between men and women do not exist.”

How God Uses Little Things to Prepare You to ‘Launch Into the Deep’

We know the story. Simon Peter had been out fishing all night with his crew. But when Jesus got involved, a miracle happened.

What we may not have noticed, however, is something Dr. Joelle Suel unpacks on a recent episode of The Glorious Truth on the Charisma Podcast Network. Jesus asked Peter to use his boat, she says, “And from this boat, He started teaching the multitude. Now mind you, Peter was tired. Peter had not only worked all night in his trade, but he had gotten nothing.”

And Suel points out an important truth for those who want to launch out into the deep things of God. “[Peter] put the Lord first. Even though he was tired, he allowed him to use his boat. Isn’t it like the Lord to call us to do little steps like that at the most inconvenient time? Do you know He has someone call you at night when you’re tired after work? He has someone ask you to help when you are ready to just call it a day? The phone rings for you to pray for someone in order to sleep,” Suel says.

“The way God works is to surprise us with more when we are willing to obey the little. We cannot focus on ministering to hundreds or thousands of people if we don’t say yes to minister to the one that He brings in our lives,” she says. “And it’s as the Holy Spirit leads us that we take those steps, that we obey the Lord in the little things.

“But it’s not always convenient. … It’s not always the right time. It’s not always the right place. And we don’t really know why. … We don’t see the full picture until much later.

How God Supernaturally Helped This Pastor, Filmmaker Move From Depression to 550-Pound Weight Loss

Pastor and filmmaker Derrick Gates grew up in the Midwest but became an international drug dealer who, he says, “trafficked women, weapons and drugs around the world” before Jesus saved him and brought him back to life. But the Lord also saved him from suicide.

On a recent episode of the Unleashed podcast on the Charisma Podcast Network, Gates shares the story of how God gave him the gift of what he calls “supernatural weight loss.” At the time, although he was in ministry, he weighed 820 pounds. After his salvation, he says, “I came out of there completely delivered of my drug addiction, which is amazing. However, what I didn’t take into account was that my addictive personality would try to find something to fill that void. And that’s exactly what happened; I began to fill that with other things like food.”

Over time, as he gained weight, depression set in, and food became even more of a crutch. “I would demolish a cheesecake,” he says. “So, I found myself at 820 pounds, and extremely depressed and suicidal. By this point, I had come to the understanding in my own mind that I was better off dead.” The only time he felt good, he says, was when he was preaching.

Eventually, God told Gates to start making movies. Even though he had rarely left his home after he became morbidly obese, he began to travel in connection with the movies. He went to a meeting with one of the men he interviewed when something unexpected happened. Gates says, “The guy gave me a prophetic word on supernatural weight loss.

“I thought, Well, this is really easy. You’re going to pick the fattest guy out of the room … And you’re going to get him a word like that. And then you’re going to roll out tomorrow back to California. And nobody’s going to be there to hold you accountable over this prophetic word. That’s what I thought. I sure wanted to be real, but honestly, I just didn’t think it was real,” Gates says.

But the very next day, God showed Himself strong. “I got a call from my doctor, and he says, ‘Hey, I want to do this weight-loss surgery for you,” Gates says. “You’ll be the biggest person we’ve ever done. But I think that we can make it happen.'”

“OK, but how much does that cost?” Gates says he told the doctor, who responded that because of his morbid obesity, they would have to bring in a team of doctors and special cardiologists who would run tests for a month ahead of the surgery, with an estimated cost of $100,000.

Gates told him that wasn’t for him. But he says the doctor said, “No; I want do it for you. … He wanted to pay for it.”

To those who question whether can be considered “supernatural” weight loss, Gates has an answer. “Would it be supernatural if somebody called you and said, ‘Hey, I want to give you $100,000 for something’? I mean, to me, that’s supernatural, no matter how you cut it; it just wasn’t in the lens or wasn’t the framework of what I thought.”

Bethel Prophet: Why Miracles, Signs and Wonders Are for Every Believer

Prophetic author, reformer and co-founder of Bethel School of the Prophets Dan McCollam loves to help people explore biblical truths about unlocking the supernatural realm. He says people need to not just settle for “normal,” but pursue above-normal living, which, he says, involves taking responsibility for the supernatural life.

McCollam explores miracles, signs and wonders on a series of recent podcasts on The Prophetic Company on the Charisma Podcast Network. In a recent episode, he says these three areas are “three flavors of the supernatural that are meant really for every single believer.” These are first seen in the life of Jesus, he says, quoting Acts 2:22: “Men of Israel, listen to this. Jesus of Nazareth was a man accredited by God to you by miracles, wonders and signs, which God did among you through him, as you yourselves know.”

In other words, McCollam says, “Part of Jesus’ accreditation was miracles, signs and wonders. [This] proved that he really came from God. And it proved that He was worth listening to.”

But this isn’t all. “Now in the book of Hebrews, the same assignment is placed on our life. In Hebrews Chapter two, verses three to four, it says, ‘This salvation, which was first announced by the Lord was confirmed to us by those who heard him. And God also testified to it by signs, wonders and various miracles and gifts of the Holy Spirit distributed according to His will.’ Now when we cross-reference this with other Scriptures about the gifts of the Holy Spirit being distributed, we’re talking about how they are distributed to the body of Christ in 1 Corinthians 12.”

McCollam adds, “So this passage in Hebrews is not just talking about what Jesus did to accredit through the supernatural method. manifestations of signs and miracles and wonders, but also how the church can accredit the fact that Jesus is alive, that Jesus is ascended, that He’s poured out His Spirit upon all flesh, so that we all can be partakers of the divine nature, so that we can all share in this supernatural lifestyle of miracles, signs and wonders.”
