According to Cahn, this present darkness is based on an ancient biblical pattern, now with a new manifesting. America has departed from her roots, her commitment to God, just as ancient Israel did before her fall.

“Here’s a nation that knew God then turned away,” he says, “and then these signs began appearing — signs of judgment given to warn that nation. The Josiah Manifesto takes that forward. America and Israel are very much joined – they’re the only two civilizations that were founded specifically for the purposes of God. And America is now reenacting what happened to ancient Israel. When you turn away from God, it’s a dangerous thing.”

At the beginning of the book, Cahn speaks of the Valley of Hinnom, where the prophet Jeremiah prophesied that because Israel sacrificed their children, judgment would come (Jeremiah 19). In parallel, abortion in America has also sacrificed children. “You cannot do that without judgment coming,” says Cahn. “So it’s a warning and a wake-up call. Israel was in deep trouble, and America is also on that verge. We are a nation in danger because of what we have done.”

THE MYSTERY OF THE JUBILEE

At the heart of The Josiah Manifesto is the biblical precedent of Jubilee.

“In the Bible, the year of Jubilee comes every 50 years – it’s the 50th year, the year that everything gets reversed or undone,” says Cahn. “In some ways, it’s a great thing. If you are enslaved, you are released, it’s undone. If you lost your land, you get it back, it’s restored. So for many, Jubilee is the year of restoration, a year of blessing.

“But at the same time, there’s another side of it — it’s a year of reversal and restitution. If you took land that didn’t belong to you, then in the year of Jubilee, it’s all reversed. What you took is taken from you. It’s also a year of restitution. And this mystery reveals some incredible things about what’s been happening in America and in the world.”

THE MYSTERY OF THE PLAGUE

The Josiah Manifesto continues to connect the puzzle pieces as it reveals a chilling comparison between America’s sin of abortion and the Covid-19 pandemic.

“As Jeremiah said, the death of the children is answered by death,” says Cahn. “And so the question comes up: what about the numbers? How many babies were killed in the initial three-year period between when abortion entered America in 1970 until Roe versus Wade in 1973? The answer is 1.3 million. Then 50 years later — the Jubilee — we have another three-year period and it’s the period of the plague from 2020 to the beginning of 2023. How many Americans died of the plague? The answer is 1.3 million, the exact same number.”

The Josiah Manifesto draws another stunning comparison. “There was another day, in the middle of March, where everything shut down,” Cahn says. “A quarantine came on America. The stock market crashed. Everything went into lockdown. President Trump went on the television to announce it, and the media called it ‘the day that everything changed.’

“That day was March 11th, 2020. So what if you go back 50 years to March 11th, 1970? That is the exact date that abortion actually began in America. And so the exact day abortion began in America, 50 years later the plague fell on America.”

Just as America has been warned, Castro himself had been warned of his downfall by God. It was here that Cahn presented Castro with a prophetic message and object.

“The first was the shofar, the herald of the Jubilee, the sign of freedom throughout the land, restoration, return, reconciliation, liberty, and redemption, a message for the Cuban ruler,” Cahn writes.

A Powerful Biblical Symbol Opens Up An Ancient Mystery That Points To The Future Of America

Could one of the most significant biblical symbols signal the transformation of current American culture, just as it did in ancient times?

ALTARS OF THE PROMISED LAND

In The Josiah Manifesto, Cahn reminds us that America is based on the template of ancient Israel, and has followed the same path outlined in scripture. When a nation falls away from God, there is judgement. Cahn reveals that one of the most powerful symbols in this parallel has to do with broken altars.

“When the Israelites entered the Promised Land, it was filled with altars to foreign gods,” Cahn says. “They were warned to have nothing to do with the altars, the gods and idols, the rites and rituals of the Canaanites. They were told: You shall destroy their altars, break their sacred pillars (Exodus 34:13). So the Israelite’s entrance into the land were marked by the sign of the broken altar.”

But as time went on, Cahn points out, Israel repeatedly turned away from God. As a result, the altars would reappear throughout the land, and children would once again be sacrificed to foreign gods. Throughout the Old Testament, Israel did see times of national repentance, reformation, revival, and would return to God — and when they did, those times were always marked by the forsaking of the gods and the breaking of their altars.

THE VISION

In 2020, Cahn was praying about what book to write next and the Lord put The Return of the Gods on his heart. On the very day he was to announce that new book to his congregation, one of his associate ministers was woken out of sleep at three in the morning with a powerful vision, and he shared it with Cahn.

“He saw me standing in the midst of an arid landscape,” Cahn relates. “Before me were massive objects of light-gray and brown stone. Their tops were flat and wide. They rested on large rock bases, or pedestals. He knew he was looking at ancient altars, objects of worship and sacrifice to the gods.

“He then heard a voice commanding me to speak or prophesy to the altars, to proclaim to them a word from God. I lifted my hand and pointed toward the altars, opened my mouth and spoke. When I finished giving the word, cracks began appearing on the tops of the altars. Then they broke in two, one side falling to the right, the other to the left. Dark, shadowy figures then began emerging from the broken altars—spirits, principalities, gods, demonic entities departing. He then saw waters pouring down from the heavens.”

Cahn’s associate was puzzled by the meaning of the vision. He thought of ancient Israel turning from God and erecting altars on which to offer their sacrifices to the gods. He knew it had to do with what was now happening in America and around the world.

Cahn says, “He had no idea that I had just begun writing a book that would speak of the gods and their altars.”

THE FULFILLMENT OF THE VISION

In the early summer of 2022, Cahn was speaking at a conference in Tennessee, and he finished his book The Return of the Gods in his hotel room on the morning of June 24. That was the exact day the Supreme Court struck down Roe v. Wade.

When he heard of the court ruling, Cahn remembered the vision that was shared with him. “I was told to speak to the altars of the gods,” he recalled. “When I finished bringing forth the word, the altars began breaking apart. That morning, I had finished bringing forth the word concerning the gods and their altars. And as I did, something colossal had broken. And that would be the key. What was broken on June 24, 2022, was not merely a Supreme Court ruling or even an industry or institution. It was an altar.”

There is no altar of American civilization so brazen as that of abortion, nor had any other American institution ever shed a fraction of the blood shed by abortion. It was the dark towering altar of American civilization, the titanic slab upon which the nation had sacrificed over sixty million of its most innocent and defenseless.

“On June 24, 2022, America’s towering altar was broken open,” says Cahn. “It was unprecedented. It was an ancient sign—a biblical sign, the sign that had appeared again and again in the history of Israel. But now it was manifesting in America, on the national stage, on a colossal scale.”

A CHANCE TO RETURN

In ancient Israel, altars bore witness of a nation that had once known God but turned to other gods. But broken altars signified hope, the chance to return to Him.

“Thus the sign of the broken altar in America now bears witness to a nation that, likewise, had once known God and had likewise departed from His ways,” Cahn writes. “Without that departure, America could never have legalized the act of abortion, much less celebrated it. But the breaking of America’s altar is a sign that the nation is being given a chance to return.’

So, Cahn says, the appearance of the broken altar signals the beginning, the hope, and the chance of civilizational change. It can be the catalyst for cultural transformation, national repentance, reform, and renewal, the overturning of powers, the cleansing of sin and evil, and the return and consecration of a nation to God.

“Will America see national revival, return, and restoration?” asks Cahn. “Its future depends on it. That is the question on which the future of America hangs and that will determine whether that future will be of judgment or redemption. The chance has been given. The window has been opened.”

THE DAYS OF JOSIAH

With that window opened, Cahn goes one step further in The Josiah Manifesto, revealing the ancient mystery that unlocks the answer appointed for our times.

“There is more to the sign of the broken altar,” he says. “It holds the key not only for America, but for all who will seek to follow the ways of God and to live a life of righteousness — no matter which path America or any nation chooses to follow, no matter where or when, or what the future may hold.

And this is where Cahn introduces the key that reveals the answer for this present age and what is yet to come. That key can be summed up in one .

According to Cahn, it is King Josiah from the Bible who opens up the revelation, the answer, the template, the blueprint, and the manifesto for our time. “If these are the days of the broken altar, then these are the days of Josiah,” he writes. “We are living in the Josiah hour, the Josiah moment.”

To give some biblical background, Josiah was born in the royal line of Judah, a descendant of King David, great grandson of the righteous king Hezekiah, grandson of the evil king Manasseh, and son of another evil king, Amon. Upon the assassination of his father, Josiah, at the age of eight, ascended the throne of Judah.

When he was about sixteen years old, he “began to seek the God of his father David”  (2 Chronicles 34:3). At the age of twenty-six, he embarked on a campaign to repair and restore the Temple of Jerusalem. During the restoration work, a Book of the Law was found, and he began to lead the nation back to God. He cleansed Judah of paganism and broke down the altars on which his people sacrificed to the gods.

“The overturning of abortion in America was not merely the breaking of an altar but the breaking of an altar on which ran the blood of children,” says Cahn. “It is Josiah who, more than any other historical figure, is specifically connected to the overturning of such altars.”

Therefore, Cahn warns that this is a crucial time for America. “According to the ancient template, upon Josiah’s death, the judgment of Israel commenced. Less than twenty-five years later, the armies of Babylon breached the walls of Jerusalem. The temple was razed to the ground, the city was left in ruins, and the kingdom was wiped off the face of the earth.”

WHAT ABOUT AMERICA?

“Josiah’s reign took place against the backdrop of judgment,” says Cahn. “The very scope and magnitude of his reforms reveal the depths to which his nation had descended. Had the nation continued in the ways of Josiah after his death, could that destruction have been averted? We will never know.”

But that leads Cahn to ask the chilling question: What about America? “Could the context of the broken altar be, as it was in the days of Josiah, a sign given in the context of coming judgment?” he asks “Could the broken altar of Roe v. Wade represent the last move to righteousness on the part of a fallen nation on the way to destruction?”

He points out that this darkness is unrelenting. “It seeks not only to exist and grow, but to exercise total dominion, to force all it touches into submission, to subjugate language, to alter perception, and to bend reality into its image. It is a darkness that requires every tongue to confess its name and every knee to bow down in its homage.”

Cahn gives us a chilling reminder that anyone who has tried to defy or resist this evil darkness has been targeted – either for assimilation, transformation, or destruction. “It is a totalitarian darkness,” Cahn says. “It cannot rest until all lights are extinguished.”

The Biblical Template

One of those mysteries is about an ancient figure and mystery that lies behind one of the most controversial leaders of our time, Donald Trump. Cahn first opened up this shocking template in his earlier book The Paradigm, published in 2017. In it, he outlined the remarkable parallels between President Trump and King Jehu of the Bible.

“Jehu is recorded as being wild, impulsive, and unpredictable,” says Cahn. “The same words are used to describe Donald Trump. In his race to the throne, Jehu formed an alliance with the religious conservatives of the land – so did Donald Trump. Jehu came to the capital with an agenda – to “drain the swamp” – and so did Donald Trump. Jehu’s main opponent in his rise to national power was the nation’s former first lady – Jezebel. Trump’s opponent was Hillary Clinton, the nation’s former first lady.”

In the biblical template, the rise of Jehu is linked to the fall of Baal’s temple. In modern time, the ancient Temple of Baal in Palmyra, Syria literally collapsed just two months after Trump began his rise to power.

“But could there be another manifestation?” Cahn asks. “And if the war of Jehu and the Temple of Baal framed the beginning of Jehu’s reign and the beginning of Trump’s rise to the presidency, could it also have framed its end? Or could his presidency end with a replay, a rematch, of the battle revealed in the template?”

In The Josiah Manifesto that mystery and template have not stopped unfolding and progressing. He opens up what happened after The  Paradigm, which involves one of the most controversial events of modern times—and the ancient mystery that lies behind it.

January 6

It was the first week of January 2021, the week that would determine the future of the United States Senate and the American presidency. It all pivoted on Wednesday of that week, when the results of the Senate race in Georgia became known and determine which party would control the Senate.

It was also the day that the votes of the 2020 presidential election were officially sealed. Wednesday was critical, as it gave Democrats control of Congress and the presidency and sealed the end of Trump’s days in power. It all converged on January 6.

The National Temple

Cahn points out that the Temple of Baal, which stood in the capital city of Samaria, was, in effect, the national temple of Israel’s northern kingdom, and the US Capital building in Washington, DC is, in essence, the national temple of America. In the ancient Temple of Baal, prayers and worship were lifted up to a pagan god. The Capitol Building has also traditionally seen prayers and invocations lifted up to the God of the Bible.

“But as the week of January 6, 2021, began, something changed,” Cahn writes. “On January 3, the first working session of the new Congress was inaugurated with a prayer offered by Democratic congressman Emanuel Cleaver.” Cahn had written of him years before in The Paradigm. He was the man who had given an unknowingly prophetic address at the Democratic Convention that nominated Hillary Clinton. On January 3, he offered up another unknowing prophetic prayer.

“The problem with the prayer was the god to whom Cleaver prayed. He sealed it with the name Brahma, a Hindu god with four heads — a completely pagan god.”

So on January 3, 2021, the 117th Congress was consecrated to a pagan god and America’s national temple became a house of prayer—to a pagan god—as in a pagan temple.

The Agenda

Temple of Baal also promoted sexual immorality and the sacrifice of children. On that first week of 2021, it was not just a pagan prayer that inaugurated the new Congress—it was an anti-biblical, pagan agenda that also did.

The new Democratic-controlled Congress proposed an agenda that stood in stark opposition to biblical morality and values of sexuality, religious freedom, gender, and the lives of unborn children. They came to the Capitol Building ready to enact the most proabortion agenda in American history.

“So not only the prayer turned America’s ‘temple’ into a pagan one—so did the agenda,” writes Cahn. “That first week of 2021 was when that agenda took full control of Capitol Hill and of the Temple of the American Republic. And it all happened when a Jehu was still in power and in the capital city. It was a battle waiting to happen.”

Jehu’s Assembly

Second Kings chapter 10 in the Bible says that Jehu called for an assembly in the capital city. So too, President Trump called for an assembly in the capital city, Washington, DC, on January 6. Jehu’s gathering was directed at the national temple in the capital city. Trump’s gathering of January 6 was likewise directed on America’s national temple—the Capitol Building.

“The ancient template centered on two groups of people gathered in that city: the priests and worshippers of Baal, who would convene inside the temple, and the supporters of Jehu, who would stand outside the temple.”

So too, on January 6, the group that convened inside the Capitol Building represented the victory of an anti-biblical agenda. The gathering that took place outside the Capitol Building represented the supporters of the modern-day Jehu, Trump.

Jehonadab in the House

The ancient template tells of both Jehu and his partner, Jehonadab, playing a prominent role in what would happen in the Temple of Baal. So both Trump and Pence played a prominent role in what happened on January 6 in the Capitol Building.

In the ancient template, both Jehu and Jehonadab go to Baal’s temple. Trump had planned to go down to the Capitol Building that day, but his security team prevented him. But Pence, the modern-day Jehonadab, did indeed enter the national temple that day in accordance with the paradigm.

“Though we can assume that Jehonadab left the building after entering it,” says Cahn, “the Bible account gives no record or indication that he did. On January 6, Pence entered the Capitol Building. He never left but would remain there through the night.”

Those Outside the Temple

In the ancient template, Jehu directed the multitude of his supporters to go to the Temple of Baal and stand outside it. On January 6, Trump, in effect, directed the multitude of his supporters to go to the Capitol Building and stand outside in protest.

Jehu’s supporters stood outside the national temple while proceedings took place inside. Trump’s supporters stood outside the national temple while proceedings took place inside. The supporters of Jehu would not stay outside the Temple of Baal. And the supporters of Trump would not stay outside the Capitol Building.

The Siege

In the biblical account of Jehu’s war against the Temple of Baal, his supporters were given the word, “Go inside.” So Jehu’s people went inside and laid siege to the temple. On January 6 the supporters of Trump believed they had the authority to go inside. So they did, and laid siege to it.

“In the ancient template, the followers of Jehu entered the Temple of Baal to dramatically and violently interrupt its proceedings. On January 6, the followers of Trump entered the Capitol Building and dramatically, if less violently than the ancient case, interrupted its proceedings.”

In the ancient template, Jehu’s followers went inside the temple to shed blood—and they did. On January 6, a few who entered the Capitol Building called for blood and came prepared for violence.

Desecration

In order to prevent the Temple of Baal from ever being used again as the site of pagan practices, Jehu’s people defiled and desecrated it. So on January 6, among those who entered the Capitol Building were those who sought to defile and desecrate it.

In view of Jehu and the Temple of Baal, the reactions of members of Congress in the wake of January 6 are especially significant and consistent. The incoming Senate majority leader said,

“This temple to democracy was desecrated.”

A senator speaking that night from Capitol Hill said,

“This sacred place was desecrated. …This temple to democracy was defiled.”

The Speaker of the House spoke of those who engaged in the

…desecration of this, our temple…” 

The Eighty Men

In the wake of January 6, the government began its crackdown. At the end of the week, the Washington, DC, Police Department announced the number of those they arrested in connection with the Capitol Hill riot. The number made headlines:

80 Arrested for Civil Unrest at US Capitol and Around DC

Metropolitan Police Department arrested 80 individuals in connection with the civil unrest at the U.S. Capitol and around D.C.

Remarkably, the ancient template gives the number of Jehu’s men who laid siege to the Temple of Baal with two Hebrew words: Shmonim Ish which translated is “eighty men.” The same exact number.

“No one could have orchestrated the connection,” Cahn writes. “But the template had been there for over two and a half thousand years.”

Templates and Prototypes

As the ancient Jehu contended against the great national temple, so too the modern-day Jehu contended against America’s great national temple. The modern Jehu had no idea of the ancient template, or of his ancient prototype, or of the role he was to play. Nor did the eighty participants in the January 6 siege of the Capitol Building have any idea of the eighty who laid siege to the Temple of Baal on Jehu’s behalf.

It didn’t matter. The parallels were not natural. The template manifested regardless.

The Reign of Baal

The siege against Baal’s temple and its subsequent fall framed the beginning of Jehu’s reign. The fall of Baal’s temple likewise framed the beginning of Trump’s ascent to power. But in the case of Trump, just as it had framed the beginning of his reign, it would also frame the end.

“It is no accident that the ancient template replayed itself on the very day that sealed the end of his presidency,” says Cahn. “It was, in a sense, a rematch. Only this time, the modern Jehu and his forces would not prevail. It was a sign that the agenda of Baal would be prevailing in America and his influence would rest on the thrones of both political and cultural power.”

CRUCIAL FOR THIS TIME

“What’s been unfolding in our lives in the last few years that has altered our lives – it’s the hand of God, the God of the Bible,” Cahn says. “He’s so exact and so precise, and He has been moving where it’s unmissable. Once you see it, you realize all of these things are coming together to an answer. It’s a mystery journey, like a symphony of mysteries, that are all going to come together and then they’re going to open up this key that I believe is crucial for this time.”

Many people wonder how Cahn receives this depth of revelation from God. “I can’t take any credit for it,” he says. “Starting with The Harbinger, it’s like the Lord just downloads things to me, and He then leads me. When the next thing is needed, He’ll point me to that next clue or that next revelation, and it just keeps unfolding and opening up. I could never reproduce The Harbinger or any of these books.”

FIDEL CASTRO AND THE MYSTERY OF THE JUBILEE

The mystery starts out with Cahn himself. He doesn’t usually refer to himself in any of his books, but that’s not the case in The Josiah Manifesto, where he recounts his supernatural trip to Cuba in 2008 that focuses on God’s miraculous Jubilee Revival in that country.

Amazingly, he gave Fidel Castro an object and a prophetic word that marked the exact timing that Castro’s reign over Cuba would end.

That object and word made direct reference to the Jubilee and its shocking impact on the country – and on Castro’s reign of power. “Castro’s reign ended in his year of Jubilee,” says Cahn, “the 50th year of his reign – the 50th day of the 50th year, the exact hour.”

That stunning event begins the whole mystery of The Josiah Manifesto. “It opens up the mystery of the Jubilee, which has to do with America and everything we have just gone through. It’s all linked to the mystery of the Jubilee.”

THE STUNNING SECRET BEHIND COVID

 The Josiah Manifesto also uncovers astounding mysteries behind the COVID pandemic hitting America.

“In the Bible, it’s an ironclad law that what you do to children comes back to you,” says Cahn. “Jeremiah prophesied about that. When the Israelites were offering up their children as sacrifices on the altars of the gods, Jeremiah told them that one of the ways it was going to come back upon them was in the form of a dever gadol, a Hebrew word that means “a great pestilence, a plague of epic proportions, a dangerous and highly contagious disease, a mass contagion, a pandemic.”

Cahn points out that America began legally offering up its children in the year 1970. “The Jubilee of that is the year 2020. That’s the year that death comes upon us.”

It all began in America’s gateway. “The exact day that abortion began in America was in New York, and New York is the gateway of America. The day that the abortion-on-demand law first came up in the New York Assembly was January 20, 1970. Go forward 50 years and it takes you to January 20, 2020. That was the exact day that the plague officially entered America through Patient Zero. Fifty years to the exact date.”

Cahn then points out that the Jubilee of the actual shutdown in America is also part of the mystery. “You remember there was a day in March when the president went on TV to announce that everything would shut down. We were quarantined. Even the media called it “the day that everything changed.” That day was March 11, 2020. Well, go back 50 years. March 11, 1970 is the exact day that abortion on demand actually began on American soil.”

WILL THERE BE REVIVAL?

One of the most powerful parts of The Josiah Manifesto is one day of supernatural convergence when the history of America began to change – the day that abortion was overturned. Cahn says that day was a biblical manifestation, an ancient sign – the day of the broken altar.

He points out that the history-making decision to overturn Roe vs. Wade was written in January of 2022 and released in the court in the beginning of February. Shockingly, the rate of the COVID cases immediately plunged. “Within a few weeks, the infection rate of COVID was 1/8th of what it had been in January, and it never came back,” says Cahn. “That happened the week the Supreme Court judge began rolling back abortion, the sin against the children.”

THE DAY HISTORY CHANGED

One of the most stunning, powerful parts of The Josiah Manifesto is Cahn’s revelation of the broken altar. There’s no altar in America that is so brazen as that of abortion. More than 60 million children have been killed. But Cahn points to one day—a day of supernatural convergence—when the history of America began to change in that regard. The day that abortion was overturned was a biblical manifestation, an ancient sign—the day of the broken altar.

“When I heard the news that Roe vs. Wade was overturned, I was in an airport,” says Cahn, “and I looked at my cell phone and a Scripture popped up that I did not ask for. It just popped up. It was from Psalm 106:29, which talks about when Israel turned away from God, they offered up their children. It talks about a plague that came on them until one man named Phineas took a righteous action and the plague subsided. So I wondered: if the Supreme Court did that, could there be something like that today?”

Cahn points out that Judge Alito was writing that history-making decision to overturn Roe vs. Wade in January of 2022, and he released it to the court in the beginning of February that year. At that same exact time, COVID was at its peak—it was three times higher than it ever been.

“But when Judge Alito was finished,” Cahn says, “the rate of the plague plunged. Within a few weeks the infection rate was 1/8th of what it had been in January, and it never came back. That happened the week that the Supreme Court judge began rolling back abortion, the sin.” Another interesting note: Judge Alito’s name is Samuel, which in the Bible means ‘God has heard.’

A SIGN OF REVIVAL

The picture on the cover of Cahn’s book, The Josiah Manifesto, is a broken altar. There’s a reason for that. “What happened on the day that abortion was overturned is that God began to crack that altar open,” says Cahn. “He cracked it open. And what is that a sign of? In the Bible that’s a sign of Revival. In ancient times when there was Revival, it wasn’t a tent meeting—they broke the altars of the gods.

“When I was working on my last book, The Return of the Gods, one of my associates came to me and said, ‘I was woken up in the middle of the night and I had a vision and a word. Jonathan, I saw you bringing forth a word to these altars of the gods, and all of a sudden when you did, the altars cracked open and the spirits went out and revived the nation.’

“The day that I finished The Return of the Gods was the day that the Supreme Court overturned abortion. That day the altar was cracked open. God is saying, ‘This is a broken altar.'”

Cahn emphasizes how crucial this moment in time is. “I want everybody to hear this,” he urges. “I believe this is all coming together. This is the moment we’re in. The broken altar is about a nation that has fallen from God. It could head to judgment, or it could head to Revival. Or there could be both. That’s where we are right now. God is giving us a chance and this is ultimately about Revival and that’s what we have to prepare for.

THE KEY

The Bible character most closely linked to a broken altar is King Josiah (2 Kings 22–23; 2 Chronicles 34–35), thus the name of the book. Josiah was born when the nation of Israel was heading to judgment. “But that one person, with the Spirit of God, actually turned the nation back to God,” Cahn notes. “And that’s what opens the door to the revelation of The Josiah Manifesto, what God did at that moment through one man. It’s actually the key for us—what we need to do now, in the end times, in order to prevail and overcome.”

Cahn points out that as Josiah lived in the last days of Israel with judgment coming, we are living in the last days. “We are also living at a time when we’re watching apostasy and it’s crazy. What’s the answer? The answer is here. We can prevail. Josiah lived in dark times, but he was radical for God. And God is calling us to be radical.”

Cahn says the last 100 pages of The Josiah Manifesto outline the keys and the secrets we need to know — the guide for this hour and this day. “One of the sections is called Against the Flow. Another one is called Separation and Resistance. Another one is called the Powers, because it’s about the secrets of the powers God’s given us. Another one is called the Agents of Heaven on Earth.”

The book reinforces that God has called us to be on the offensive in these last days, not the defensive. “This is our hour,” Cahn says. “This is a biblical hour. Many people have been praying, ‘I wish I lived in Bible times.’ Well, congratulations—you’re in Bible times now! This is what it’s about.”

THE GREATEST HOUR

“So we have the key and the secret to live radically for God,” says Cahn. “I asked God, ‘Give me the answer for the people.’ And that’s what this is all leading to. The same God who did all these things is saying, ‘There is an answer, there is a way, and there is a way to overcome.’

THE FIRST PUZZLE PIECE

The book opens with a startling story about how Cahn himself visited Cuba in 2008 and actually had a face-to-face meeting with dictator Fidel Castro. And it happened just that way.

Cahn notes that it all pointed to the Jubilee, and actually came straight from the Book of Leviticus in the Bible. “Leviticus actually determined the rise and fall of Fidel Castro. And now this mystery has to do with America.”

THE JUBILEE CONNECTION

“The Bible says that if you harm children, it’s going to come back on you. And in the year of the Jubilee, remember, if you took somebody’s land, it gets taken from you. That’s the other side of it—that’s the Judgment side of it. So America began abortion on demand in the year 1970. The Jubilee of that year is 2020, the year of the plague. We took life and then a plague came upon us, and it took life.”

But Cahn says it goes even deeper—down to the exact day. “Abortion came to America through New York, and the day that the [abortion] bill was introduced in that state was January 20, 1970. Go 50 years forward and you’ll find that January 20, 2020 is the day that the plague entered America. Fifty years to the exact date.

“God says it comes back. That’s a law. Remember when COVID basically shut down America? It was the middle of March—we were quarantined, everything went into lockdown—it was called the day that changed everything. It was March 11, 2020. Well, if you go back 50 years, March 11, 1970 was the exact day that abortion on demand began on American soil, in Hawaii. It was 50 years to the day again when the plague fell on America.”

Cahn also points out that the plague was most severe in the city where it all started.

“What is the capital of abortion in America? New York. Where did the plague center when it came on? It centered on New York. And there was one milestone day during the plague when New York surpassed every other nation in the world for the plague. The date was April 10—which was 50 years to the day when New York legalized abortion.”

A SUPERNATURAL CONVERGENCE

In The Josiah Manifesto, Cahn explains how several ancient Hebrew holy days were behind the plague and other events that changed America forever.

“The first was linked to the plague, in the Spring,” he says. “The second Hebrew holy day was behind the riots and the fires and the rage happening. And then one of the other holy days, in order, is the Feast of Trumpets. That’s when you turn back to God—a day of repentance. That was the exact day that the Supreme Court was altered and a Supreme Court Justice passed from the earth, which opened the door for the overturning of abortion. It was on the day of the Feast of Trumpets.”

Cahn points to a supernatural convergence that is connected to the changing of American history.

“In the midst of that year, I was led—with another great man of God—to come together and call for a national day of prayer and repentance on the National Mall in Washington D.C. It was a sacred assembly called The Return. We met there and prayed with a huge crowd.

“We had no idea until we were just about there, that there’s a day on the Hebrew calendar called Shabbat Shuva which means “the day of the return.” It’s in the Book of Joel, about a nation praying for revival, for repentance, for the ending of sin. It actually could be translated as “the day of turning”—to turn a nation.

“That same day, President Trump chose to nominate the last Supreme Court Justice, Amy Barrett, who would be the vote that would overturn abortion. That was the day that set in motion the overturning of abortion.”

“I’LL BRING REVIVAL”

“There were tens of thousands of people there praying together on the National Mall, and I was led at the end to say, ‘We’re all going to join together and seal it all with the sound of God’s power—the sound of the shofar. When the shofar sounds, shout! Let the power of God go forth. Say, ‘Go!’

“That moment was five o’clock, four minutes and 33 seconds. In the same instant that we shouted, on the White House lawn, President Trump opened his mouth and made the announcement about Amy Barrett—the beginning of the overturning of abortion. At that exact same second, the history of America pivoted—on God’s day called ‘the day of turning.’

“That’s how precise God is. The God of the Bible is real. Our history has literally been altered by His hand, with His fingerprints. On that day, He declared, ‘I’ll bring blessing, I’ll bring revival.”

All these mysteries and more are explained in detail in Cahn’s book The Josiah Manifesto. “King Josiah lived dark times, but he was radical for God,” Cahn says. “God is calling us to be radical. While Cahn has previously kept himself unnamed in most of his books, The Josiah Manifesto recounts parts of his own story to share how God has been speaking to him and revealing the ancient mysteries to him. One story in particular that stands out is about a man from Cuba who delivered him a very specific message.

“I was driven to a house in northern New Jersey in which the man was staying on his visit to America. We met in the living room. He was short, elderly, bald, and stocky. His name was Samuel. He spoke to me through a translator. He had come to America with a mission—to ask me if I would come to his homeland. It was an island in the Caribbean, one unlike any other in the region or, for that matter, the world.

The island, he said, was cursed. Those of its inhabitants who believed in and followed God lived under an iron hand of oppression and persecution, not to mention extreme poverty. But there was hope. A change was coming—and thus his mission and his invitation,” Cahn writes.
