Pastor Glenn Germany had fractions of a second to react as the man, identified as 26-year-old Bernard Junior Polite, casually strolled up to the front altar of the Jesus Dwelling Place Church, smiled at the pastor and raised a silver pistol mere feet from Germany with a clear line of fire.

The Lambert family told KWTX-TV they were hiding in a closet as the tornado ripped through their neighborhood over the weekend, utterly destroying their home.

Freddy McKinney, a storm chaser, helped rescue the Lamberts while he was filming the harrowing tornado hover over their house. Wes and Kasey Lambert—along with their daughter Allie and son Lane—found shelter in a closet.

A Red Heifer Sacrifice Is Coming, but the Discovery of the Ark of the Covenant Will Be Even More Important

There is a lot of speculation that historic events that people have been anticipating for more than 2,000 years are about to happen in our time.

About a month ago, there was a lot of discussion on the internet about whether or not the sacrifice of the 10th red heifer would take place during the Passover season, and obviously that did not happen. However, I am entirely convinced that a red heifer sacrifice is eventually coming. But if you think that the sacrifice of the 10th red heifer will be big, the truth is that the discovery of the ark of the covenant will be even more important.

I will get to that later in this article, but first I wanted to talk a bit about the upcoming red heifer sacrifice.

God Didn’t Shut Off the Power of Pentecost

I was raised a Southern Baptist, and then at age 18 I had a Pentecostal experience while I was still a Baptist. People jokingly refer to me now as a “Bapticostal” because they consider this to be a strange combination of doctrines. That’s because many Baptists are cessationists. They believe the gifts of the Holy Spirit ceased operating after the New Testament apostles died.

As a teenager I didn’t see any inconsistency in being a Baptist and a Pentecostal. Baptist pastors always told me: “If it’s in the Bible, you should believe it.” I valued God’s Word, and God’s Word taught me about the Holy Spirit and His gifts. I wanted everything God promised in His Word!

When I learned that I could be baptized in the Holy Spirit and experience the gifts of the Spirit mentioned in 1 Corinthians 12, I wanted this. Since that day I’ve regularly experienced the Spirit’s gifts in my life, resulting in many changed lives. My Pentecostal experience eventually propelled me into traveling ministry, and I’ve now preached in 39 countries because of the miraculous empowerment I received in 1976.

What Is the ‘Jezebel Spirit’? Understanding Baal, Demonic Powers and Witchcraft

What is the “Jezebel spirit?” Some have likely pondered this question in the wake of recent drama surrounding controversial Pastor Mark Driscoll.

Radio host and author Dr. Michael Brown told CBN the “Jezebel spirit” is tied to a demoniacal figure in the Old Testament named Jezebel.

“Jezebel is arguably the most wicked woman in the Bible,” Brown, host of Line of Fire Radio, said. “She was a Phoenician princess and an ardent worshiper of [the Canaan and Phoenicia god] Baal.”

“We could hear the nails coming out of the boards and metal being ripped, but that’s all we could hear,” Kasey Lambert recalled, noting the storm seemed to be moving away from them, so they took off running down the street.

It was at that point, they spotted McKinney.

“Oh my gosh, oh my gosh,” the storm chaser could be heard saying in video footage. “There are people. There are people. Get in the car, get in the car.” Kasey Lambert, carrying Allie, called out for help.

The mother of two had, at some point, been hit by a piece of debris and lost her grip on 7-year-old Lane.

“Lane got sucked up in the tornado,” remembered Kasey Lambert’s cousin, Bradye McQueen. “They couldn’t hold him down. It sucked him up and he flew like 25 feet. They thought he was gone.”

In a word for the month of May, prophetic voice Tomi Arayomi gave a warning for this month that we need to be on the lookout for the spirit of Jezebel. Further, he says this is the moment to keep our eyes on Christ.

Cahn Addresses Mental Wellness Amid MacArthur Backlash

Pastor John Macarthur is facing backlash from the Christian community after his statements that PTSD is nothing more than grief.

“If you understand, take PTSD, for example, what that really is, is grief. You are fighting a war you lost. Your buddies, you have a certain amount of survival guilt because you made it back, they didn’t. How do you deal with grief? Grief is a real thing. But grief is part of life, and if you can’t navigate grief, you can’t live life,” MacArthur said.

These statements landed Macarthur in hot water with well-known Christian speaker and author, Beth Moore. While she gave MacArthur grace about potentially misspeaking, she said there was no way he could understand what her own husband has dealt with by having PTSD.

Bishop Reveals Wounds Following Stabbing Attack

The world was shocked when an extremist carried out an attack on Bishop Mar Mari Emmanuel at the Assyrian Christ the Good Shepherd church in Wakeley, a suburb of Sydney, Australia, which was caught on the church’s livestream.

Following the attack, Australian authorities attempted to silence the video and worked with various social media platforms to have it taken down. Elon Musk and his X platform (formerly Twitter) is the only major outlet that refused, in the name of free speech.

Since the vicious attack was carried out by an alleged radical Islamist, the attacker is a minor and his identity has not been released by Australian authorities, Emmanuel has returned to pulpit with a fresh energy to spread the truth of Jesus Christ.

In a live Facebook stream, Pastor Greg Locke revealed the plans for a new building at Global Vision. After seeing his ministry explode in the past few years, meeting under a tent because of the influx of people coming to the church, he says it is now time to move into a new era.  

“This today is a teaser,” Locke says. “For four years we have seen the glory of God in this church in ways that most pastors would saw their right arm off to experience. So, we can never take it for granted. If God lifted it today, we’ll go down in the history books as one of the churches that has been a portal of the glory of God in this nation for the last few years.”

Locke says there is a season for meeting in a tent to see God’s visitation and a time then for experiencing His long-term dwelling.

Police Shut Down Jenny Weaver and Mike Signorelli Baptisms

The V1 Miami Church held a revival service with Pastor Mike Signorelli and Jenny Weaver where many decided to get baptized. However, during this time of spontaneous baptisms, law enforcement arrived to shut down the event.

“We responded to the gathering here,” a law enforcement officer said. “Now this is private property, and they’re asking that you guys leave. I need the crowd to disperse and you guys need to go right now.”

Before the event concluded, Signorelli was allowed to let one more person get baptized. With all grace and kindness, Signorelli respected what the police was asking for.

Mandisa’s Celebration of Life to Be Livestreamed

Christian artist Mandisa Hundley will have her life and legacy celebrated this weekend after her death on Thursday, April 18.

As The Tennessean reported, Hundley, more affectionately known as Mandisa by fans, will be celebrated in two different services. The first service will be held at Fisk University, Mandisa’s alma mater on Friday April 25.

Fisk University’s Jubilee Singers are also planning to dedicate a song to Mandisa during their commencement ceremony on May 5.

Evangelist Exposes ‘Darker Turn’ of Taylor Swift’s Music

An evangelist who recently went viral for his critical response to pop star Taylor Swift’s latest album is explaining his commentary and why he’s encouraging Christian parents to be more discerning.

“I’m not an anti-Taylor guy,” Shane Pruitt told CBN News. “I’m [a] pro-Gospel guy.”

Hollywood Actor Criticizes Bible, Calls It ‘One of the Worst Books’

A popular actor recently unleashed on the Bible, God and religion, calling faith a figment of people’s imaginations and critiquing the impact of religion on society.

“Succession” star Brian Cox called the Bible “one of the worst books ever” and said those who believe the Adam and Eve narrative are “stupid” in a recent episode of “The Starting Line” podcast.

Cox, 77, even seemed to allege so-called patriarchal issues have been sparked, in part, by the Bible’s Genesis narrative.
