Prophet: Becoming a Person of Breakthrough Gives You True Kingdom Influence

“Breakthrough” is a common term among believers. Most of us would say we’re seeking breakthrough in one or more areas of our lives. But what does that word mean in the spiritual realm?

Rebecca Greenwood, president and co-founder of Christian Harvest International and Strategic Prayer Apostolic Network, unpacks this term on her Victorious Prophetic Warfare podcast on the Charisma Podcast Network. “We all know that the Lord is looking for people and sons and daughters who are going to be ones of perseverance, and He is looking for those who will faithfully seek Him in their lives to fully become everything He wants them to be, but also to execute His plans of breakthrough,” she says. “Whether you’re called to have influence in a family, in a business, in government, in arts and entertainment, in media, in the church, whether you are called to these spheres or wherever the Lord has called you. He wants each of us to be kingdom influencers, and to hear His plan of breakthrough.”

So what does it mean to be a person of breakthrough? Greenwood explains that Webster’s Dictionary defines the term as “a strikingly important advance or discovery in any field of knowledge or activity. … It is the act, the result or place of breaking through against resistance, as in warfare.”

Greenwood adds that “when you’re a person of breakthrough … when you’re functioning in that inheritance, in that kingdom influence, you will affect individuals, you can affect churches, you can affect cities, you can affect your sphere of influence. And when we bring His presence with us into every area that He has called us to, we are going to see results in people; we’re going to see results in those spheres that He has called us into. We’re going to see results in our personal lives as we grow with Him.”

Apostle Jane Hamon: In Pandemic, God Is Positioning His Church to Overcome

The COVID-19 pandemic has sent all sorts of repercussions around the world. Evidence is mounting that God is also using it to draw people closer to Himself.

To have a proper spiritual perspective on this crisis, apostle Jane Hamon says on Dr. Barbara’s Whole Life Podcast on the Charisma Podcast Network that we have to keep in mind that God is not its author. “I don’t believe God caused COVID-19. But it did not take Him by surprise,” she says.

Hamon shares a vision she had in late December that helps explain God’s perspective. “I had a vision where I saw Jesus standing and putting a white stone into the hands of believers. I saw believers lined up and Jesus walking down the line, putting a white stone in their hands … looking each believer in the eye and nodding His head like, ‘You got this, OK,'” she says. “And then as the scene moved down, I saw Him giving a white stone to President Trump. Then I saw Him giving a white stone to President Trump’s family. And then I saw Him put a white stone into the hands of each one of President Trump’s advisers. And so I thought this was very interesting.

“But when I went to the Scripture, and I found in Revelation chapter 2, verse 17, Jesus is prophesying to the church at Pergamon. And this is a church that was really challenged with a lot of idolatry and wickedness and false doctrine and you name it, this church was going through it,” Hamon says. “And yet Jesus says to them, ‘To him who overcomes I will give you to eat of the hidden manna, and I will give you a white stone with a name written on it that only he knows.’ And so this was the white stone of the overcomer.”

How God’s Father Heart Drew This Evangelist Out of Deep Offense and Back Into His Divine Calling

Through Evangelist Bill Vanderbush’s years of ministry, he has seen many people saved, healed and delivered. But when his own father didn’t receive healing after a stroke, it sent him into a spiritual battle unlike anything he had experienced before.

“I knew God can do anything. And I knew He would. … I was sold on those two things. … I prayed. I fasted. I did everything I could think of to do to twist God’s arm to what I felt was in His heart to do,” Vanderbush tells host Chris Mikkelson on the Salvation Today podcast on the Charisma Podcast Network. “Now, I believe Jesus paid for healing on the cross. Absolutely. I believe it’s totally in the atonement. It’s been paid for. Why we don’t see it manifest all the time?—still working on those issues. I don’t have an answer for that.

“But I did everything that I could think of to do spiritually to try to get God to move, and then I did everything I could think of to do rebelliously. It’s like if you can’t get your dad’s attention by doing the good things, what about if you get his attention by completely neglecting your relationship with Him? … It led me into the hardest season of life that I’ve ever been in my entire life. And I began to experience the very thing that I was preaching against, which was offense at God. I dived headlong into it.”

During that difficult season, Vanderbush says, “I couldn’t find peace. … I heard a minister that I love say, ‘In order to access the peace that passes understanding, you got to give up your right to understand.’ I just broke sweat before God, repented before God [for] my attitude, my heart, all the actions that I was doing that I knew hurt His heart.”

Why Catching a ‘Wide-Angled Vision’ of Christ Will Bring You Joy and Victory

Bible teacher David Bryant has a passion for helping people experience Christ in His fullness, what he calls having a “wide-angled vision” of Him.

On his Christ Today podcast on the Charisma Podcast Network, Bryant shares a story to illustrate that concept. “Former Sen. John Ashcroft, who actually later became the attorney general, once [said] the definition of what our approach to life should be called [is] the ‘basketball approach to life.’

“He noted the great NBA stars, such as Michael Jordan, develop what he called a ‘wide-angled vision.’ I guess Michael Jordan would be the supreme example of this. [Ashcroft] said real NBA stars are able to see the whole court at once, so that they can exploit at any moment’s notice every option available to them at any moment, at any second,” Bryant says. “… As soon as great players like a Michael Jordan spring into mid-air toward a basket, the success of making that basket no longer depends on the coach, on the shoes he’s wearing and what his other teammates might be doing at the moment. The success of making that basket depends on the player’s ability to see the larger picture and make instant moves that put the ball in the hoop.

“Similarly, for all of us, catching what I call this wider-angle vision of Christ’s supremacy … increases our options for achieving a victorious Christian life down here, day by day. It helps us to … start playing the game in view of everything Christ brings to the court.”

Prophet: God Is Revealing ‘Secret Things’ in Quarantine to Bring Breakthrough Favor in a Time of Famine

Do we consider the spiritual perspective on what we’re experiencing today? Or do we just look at the COVID-19 pandemic as something that’s merely happened in the physical realm?

During the quarantine, God has been speaking to him about finances, Dr. Hakeem Collins says on the Prophetic Breakthrough podcast on the Charisma Podcast Network. And as a prophet of God, he has a responsibility to share these words with others, he explains.

“I’m sure some of you who are listening may have taken a financial hit,” Collins says. “There may have been some downsizing, those who are entrepreneurs, those who are business owners, those who are trying to start businesses, trying to fulfill some of the things on the vision board for the new year, and we had New Year’s resolutions and so forth. And this is something we were not expecting. And I know that God is up to something.”

But Collins believes God is “redeeming the time on our behalf,” he says. “This is the season that the Lord desires for us to tap into the secret wealth and the secret things that He has for us. And so there are secret things that God wants to reveal, so that we can tap into the streams and the economy of the Lord so that we’ll be blessed in a time of famine.

“And the Lord says that this is a season where He wants to bring breakthrough favor in famine, breakthrough favor in famine,” Colins says. “So there’s favor in famine, there is a financial blessing that God desires to release to us that He will release to us if we understand the biblical principle.”

How You Can Take Part in God’s Amazing New Kingdom Era

Over the past 12 years, I’ve been studying, praying and receiving revelation on this unprecedented moment in history in which we are now living. It’s one that many, including me, are calling a “new era.” (An era is defined as “a long and distinct period of history with a particular feature or characteristic.”)

With the transition beginning over 500 years ago, the Father has, in His kindness, been slow to move as some would call slow. He waits for us all. He moves and shifts the world and its people into a place over time, preparing us for the transition into this new kingdom era we have now entered.

I believe you have sensed, felt or seen the transition we are in. Not only in the body of Christ, but universally and specifically, the world around you. This is not due to COVID-19, though it has a part to play. This began long before we began sheltering in place. As we enter the advent of a new era, you get to take part in this amazing time we live. You have a voice in the new era!

But what is the history and what is this new era we have entered? I so enjoy your questions and as the host of the New Era Explorers podcast, it is my heart to respond from these 12 years of study, praying and revelation. Let’s begin this episode with a basic overview of where we have been and three keys that will help you through this transition.

Feeling Stuck During Pandemic Crisis? Here’s Hope and Help

Pastor and author Beth Jones of Valley Family Church in Kalamazoo, Michigan, has spent many years teaching people the basics of faith. But her new book, Reinvent: Start Fresh and Love Life, seems God-ordained “for such a time as this.”

So often, we find ourselves in what she calls “the gap,” Jones tells host Michael McIntyre on the Next Level podcast on the Charisma Podcast Network. “It’s that distance between where we thought our ideal self would be by now and where we actually are in life. And that distance between those two points is the gap. And sometimes I call it the ‘hope deferred makes the heart sick’ season, because we’re not quite there yet. And we feel stuck. And there are a lot of reasons for that,” Jones says.

“And now, this particular season, we’re all in this global pandemic. … It’s a massive crossroads. And it’s creating even bigger gaps for people, unexpected gaps that they have no plans for. … When I wrote this book, like began writing it about a year and a half ago, I had no earthly idea—of course, none of us did—where we’d be living now. But God did. That’s the cool part. The Holy Spirit always has something ready to help us. He prepares us for things to come. And so I’m super pumped. I think God’s going to help us get a reinvention road map to close that gap.”

How This Demonic Spirit Has Increased Deaths From COVID-19

Many churches today fail to teach about the Holy Spirit and His miracle-working power, so they don’t see the manifestation of the Spirit, says apostle Jay Caprietta. “Many people miss these things in the Scriptures, and that’s why I believe that we don’t see many healings in the body of Christ today,” he says.

Demonic causes of illness are more common today than purely physical ones, Caprietta says on the Kingdom Authority With James Alford podcast on the Charisma Podcast Network. “Today, today we are dealing with an alleged pandemic called COVID-19, coronavirus. Corona, by the way, means ‘crown.’ … COVID-19 has attached to it a spirit of fear and a demon of fear. And so, the way the media is advertising is that the coronavirus is a ‘death virus,'” he says.

Caprietta says that brings great power to the media. “They can use that to do whatever they want. Because if you want to get to somebody, get somebody’s attention, you mess with their health, anything to do with their health, you have their attention right now. The spirit of fear that has come upon people is demonic in every sense of the word,” he says. “And that kind of gives you a picture of where people’s minds are today. There’s a majority of people out there who are in fear of contracting COVID-19, even though they may not even be close to it; they don’t know where it is. And so they’re living in fear.”

But another aspect of the pandemic, Caprietta says, is even more demonic. “The majority of people who do contract it, they recover from it. But there are some people who could have recovered from it but died simply because of fear.” He cites a medical doctor who says that “fear causes anxiety and panic. And also fear is connected to stress.” Whenever you’re under stress from fear, whether of the coronavirus, cancer or whatever it may be, Caprietta says, “if fear and stress are involved, it weakens your immune system. … And so [the coronavirus or other illness] takes over the person in a stronger grip, and it destroys the person simply because their immune system has now become weakened because of the spirit of fear.”

To learn more from Caprietta about how the demonic spirit of fear plays into the coronavirus pandemic as well as how to combat it, listen to the entire podcast here.

Prophet: How God Can Help You Use Your Leverage to Build His Kingdom

We all want to be successful in life. But how do we get there? Christians especially want to know how to step into their God-ordained destiny. Prophet Joe Joe Dawson offers some help.

“I want to teach you how to use your leverage. God has given every single person leverage on how to be successful in life, successful in marriage and parenting, in ministry, in business, but most of all, to be successful in the kingdom of God,” Dawson says on the Kingdom Mindset podcast on the Charisma Podcast Network. “You know, it would be a shame for somebody to live their life and never fulfill the kingdom assignment that God has. …You know, there’s a lot of people who were born, and they’re just wasting their life. I see so many people who, at best, they’re just trying to make it into heaven. … They’ve missed the whole entire meaning of Christianity.”

Dawson adds, “And I want to encourage you on how to use your leverage. Now, the word ‘leverage’ means ‘to use something, to maximize an advantage.’

“To be successful in life, you need an advantage. God has given everybody an advantage. Now, the cool thing is, He wants us all to prosper in different areas,” Dawson says. “What are you gifted at? What is your talent? What is your ability? Everybody has a gift. And when you use your gift, you will get an advantage in life.”

Pointing to Isaiah 45:2, Dawson explains, “It says, ‘I will march out in front of you and level every single obstacle. I will shatter into pieces bronze doors and slash through iron bars for you.’ What the Lord is saying right here is, ‘I’m going to go out in front of you, and I’m going to level everything that is coming against you.'”

Why This Businessman Says ‘The Narrow Way’ Involves More Than Just Accepting Christ

Businessman and Bible teacher Don Britton has a commitment to speak the biblical truth and root out the deception he says is so common in the American church today. In a recent episode of The Great Deception podcast, he tackles the rapture and then goes on to combat the companion belief that says Christians will not endure suffering.

Many others teach, he says, “that we as Christians are not going to suffer any tribulation or trouble. We’ve heard that before … that Jesus did all the suffering for us on His cross. But is that what the Bible really says?” Britton asks. He quotes Matthew 10:37-39, which says, “He who loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me. And he who loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. And he who does not take up his cross, and follow after me, is not worthy of me. He who has found his life shall lose it and he who is lost his life, for my sake, shall find it.” He also quotes Matthew 7:13-14, “Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction. And many are those who enter by it, for the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life and fear those who find it.”

“So here in the Scriptures, we’re told that the narrow way and the small gate are the only way to life,” Britton says. He points to the definitions of two different Greek words, one for “narrow” and one for “small.” “They’re very similar in meaning, but they’re two different words. … They mean tribulation, they mean suffering, anguish, trouble, difficulty, pain, hardship and so forth,” he says.

“That’s the way to live. You’re not going to go to life the easy, broad way … the way almost everybody’s going; it’s the easy believeism that Jesus did everything for you,” Britton explains. “Just accept Christ, pray the sinner’s prayer, all that falsehood, but there’s no cross involved. There’s no personal giving up of one’s life involved here. So this is the opposite of what we’re being taught.”
