Lance Wallnau Sounds Off On ‘Woke Pope’ and ‘White House Coke’

If there is one person trying to sound the alarm on the upside-down world we live in and the spiritual forces trying to orchestrate the devil’s kingdom on earth, it is Lance Wallnau.

With American culture swirling down the sewer system of morality, Wallnau shined light on two specific news stories that the mainstream media is doing everything they can to bury so that people remain in the dark to the spiritual warfare taking place in society.

The Vatican’s ‘Woke Pope’

One might think that a Catholic bishop taking part in the protests of the Los Angeles Dodgers honoring the anti-Catholic hate group, the Sister of Perpetual Indulgence, would earn praise from the Vatican.

Instead, Pope Francis has opened an investigation into the bishop for his participation in the protest.

The Vatican has initiated a formal investigation into the east Texas diocese led by Bishop Joseph Strickland, a controversial figure who has accused Pope Francis of undermining the Catholic faith.

Elizabeth Slaten, the communications director for the Diocese of Tyler, Texas, confirmed the investigation, known as an apostolic visitation, took place over several days recently. However, she did not provide further details regarding who conducted the visitation or its purpose.

According to Mercy Sister Sharon Euart, a canon lawyer and executive director of the Resource Center for Religious Institutes, an apostolic visitation is typically initiated by the Vatican to assess the ability of someone in a leadership position, such as a bishop, to govern effectively.

Bishop Strickland, appointed by Pope Benedict XVI in 2012, has gained a reputation as an outspoken figure who openly challenges Pope Francis’ leadership and criticizes fellow bishops.

Strickland’s public criticism of Pope Francis has not gone unnoticed. In a tweet on May 12, he questioned the pope’s fidelity to the Catholic faith and distanced himself from a far-right Catholic podcaster who doubted Francis’ legitimacy.

Strickland has also used his social media platform, with nearly 124,000 followers on Twitter, to spread anti-vaccine messages during the COVID pandemic and to undermine other bishops by supporting priests disciplined by those prelates.

Additionally, Strickland has taken strong partisan political positions, describing President Joe Biden, a Catholic who supports abortion rights, as an “evil president.”

In 2020, he endorsed a controversial video by Fr. James Altman that claimed Catholics could not vote for Democrats in political elections.

Strickland later participated in a rally organized by supporters of former President Donald Trump, who sought to overturn Biden’s election victory.

The visitation initiated by the Vatican raise’s questions about the future of Bishop Strickland’s leadership in the diocese.

While the purpose and outcome of the investigation remain undisclosed, the Vatican’s involvement suggests a serious examination of Strickland’s ability to govern effectively and maintain unity within the Catholic community.

Biden Administration Caught with ‘White House Coke’

Officials have confirmed that a white powdery substance found in the West Wing of the White House recently was cocaine.

This confirmation comes after initial tests indicated the substance was illicit drugs, and additional testing was conducted.

The U.S. Secret Service spokesperson confirmed the findings. Speculation arose that the cocaine could have belonged to Hunter Biden, President Joe Biden’s son, who has struggled with cocaine and crack addiction in the past and has been seen at the White House recently.

The Secret Service spokesperson, Anthony Guglielmi, stated that further evaluation and an investigation into how the cocaine entered the White House are still pending.

The substance was discovered in a small plastic baggie inside a cubby used by staff and guests, as informed by a source familiar with the investigation. The White House was temporarily evacuated after the discovery. Initially, officials reported that the cocaine was found in the library on the ground floor, but later sources clarified that it was in the West Wing holding area.

The cubby is commonly used by employees and visitors to store phones and personal items.

* * * * * * *

These two events are just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the spiritual forces trying to manipulate the world today. Thankfully, Jesus has given His followers authority over the enemy as written in Luke 10:19: “Look, I give you authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. And nothing shall by any means hurt you.”

The Word of God implores believers to seek and gain wisdom through the Word of God. By doing this, they will be empowered to see through the distractions of the enemy and overcome the tricks of the devil as taught in Ephesians 5:15-17: “See then that you walk carefully, not as fools, but as wise men, making the most of the time because the days are evil. Therefore, do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is.”

FDA Approves Alzheimer’s-fighting Drug Leqembi

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has granted full approval to Leqembi, a drug developed by Japanese pharmaceutical company Eisai, for the treatment of mild dementia and other symptoms associated with early Alzheimer’s disease.

Leqembi is the first medication to demonstrate modest effectiveness in slowing cognitive decline in Alzheimer’s patients.

The FDA initially provided conditional approval to Leqembi in January based on preliminary findings that showed the drug’s ability to clear the brain plaque associated with Alzheimer’s disease.

The drug’s effectiveness was further validated in a larger study involving 1,800 patients, which demonstrated a five-month delay in memory and thinking decline among those receiving the treatment compared to those receiving a placebo.

FDA’s neurology drug director, Teresa Buracchio, stated that the confirmatory study provided evidence of the drug’s safety and efficacy in treating Alzheimer’s disease. However, the prescribing information for Leqembi will include a warning about potential side effects, including brain swelling and bleeding, although such risks are also associated with other plaque-targeting Alzheimer’s drugs.

The approval of Leqembi holds significant implications for Medicare and other insurance plans, as it now paves the way for coverage of the drug for Alzheimer’s patients. Medicare, the primary health coverage provider for the majority of Americans with Alzheimer’s, had previously withheld coverage pending the FDA’s full approval.

Concerns were raised about the financial burden of new plaque-targeting Alzheimer’s drugs like Leqembi on Medicare, given that the cost of a year’s supply of the drug amounts to around $26,500 for biweekly intravenous administrations.

Medicare administrator Chiquita Brooks-LaSure has confirmed that the program will immediately begin reimbursing for Leqembi following its FDA approval. However, additional requirements will be implemented, including the enrollment of Medicare recipients in a federal registry to monitor the drug’s real-world safety and effectiveness.

While Medicare coverage will now be available for Leqembi, the process of initiating patients on the drug may take time.

Doctors will need to verify the presence of the specific brain plaque targeted by Leqembi, and healthcare professionals will require training to administer the drug correctly. Ongoing monitoring through repeated brain scans will also be necessary to detect any potential adverse effects. These additional services and procedures may incur additional costs for hospitals and medical clinics.

Eisai estimates that approximately 100,000 Americans could be diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and eligible for treatment with Leqembi by 2026.

The drug, co-marketed with Biogen, has shown a slight delay in disease progression, as measured on cognitive scales. While some experts argue that the observed difference may be too subtle for patients and their families to notice, federal health advisers have deemed it meaningful and recommended full FDA approval of the drug during a public meeting in June.

New York Times bestselling author Dr. Con Colbert’s book Healthy Brain Zone shows how to reverse memory loss and reduce risks of dementia and Alzheimer’s.

Colbert says the key ingredient to fighting memory loss, dementia and Alzheimer’s isn’t in prescriptions or unnatural treatments, but in “a healthy, gut-friendly diet,” and understanding the brain-gut connection with the nutritional and dietary choices that support it.

More and more, science is proving that a healthy digestive system is the key to a healthy brain and body, Colbert writes.

Pentecostals Forge Ahead as Leaders in Church Growth

While numerous church denominations across the Western world experience a decline in membership, Pentecostal churches stand out as a vibrant and growing segment of Christianity. In the face of this decline, Pentecostals have defied the trend and continued to flourish.

Three key factors contribute to their remarkable growth and influence.

Pentecostal Churches Thrive Through their Deeply Personal and Passionate Faith

Pentecostals possess a fervent and personal faith that sets them apart. Unlike many believers who may display nominal commitment, Pentecostals actively engage in congregational life.

Researcher Ryan Burge notes that the Assemblies of God, the largest Pentecostal denomination, consistently demonstrates robust church participation. The experience of Spirit baptism, a core tenet of Pentecostalism, fuels a vibrant faith and fosters a deeper personal connection with God.

Stagnation is incompatible with the Spirit-filled experience, and thus Pentecostals tend to be more actively involved in their churches. This passionate faith not only strengthens individual believers but also contributes to the overall growth and vitality of Pentecostal congregations.

Pentecostals Lead the Way in Missional Commitment and Gospel Proclamation

Pentecostals possess an inherent drive for evangelism and a strong missional outlook.

Their encounters with the Holy Spirit ignite a deep desire to share the transformative power of the Gospel with others. Pentecostal evangelism goes beyond mere proclamation of the good news; it incorporates a demonstration of the Spirit’s power.

This approach, often referred to as “power evangelism,” reflects the belief that others should have the opportunity to experience the movement of the Spirit. Pentecostals actively engage in sharing the gospel, both within their local communities and on a global scale.

The AG, for instance, has a remarkable track record of church planting and multiplication. Their commitment to establishing Spirit-filled congregations, even in locations with existing churches, has propelled their growth and influence.

Grassroots Expansion Propels Pentecostalism’s Remarkable Growth and Influence

Pentecostal growth is characterized by its grassroots nature. It is a movement that is spread from the bottom-up, driven by the belief that the Holy Spirit has been poured out on all believers. Pentecostalism transcends denominational boundaries and encompasses various charismatic expressions visible in most of the mainline denominations from Episcopal to Presbyterian.

This broad reach makes it challenging to accurately define and count Pentecostals and charismatics. The movement extends beyond Pentecostal and charismatic denominations, also finding a place within segments of the Roman Catholic Church through the Catholic charismatic renewal. This bottom-up expansion resonates strongly with young people and diverse populations, particularly in Latin America, Africa and Asia. The belief in the availability of the Holy Spirit’s power and an inclusive view of who can experience it have fueled Pentecostal growth worldwide.

These three key factors contribute to the growth and vibrancy of Pentecostalism, making it a significant and influential movement within Christianity. As they remain committed to their core beliefs and values, Pentecostal churches offer a dynamic and engaging spiritual experience for believers seeking a transformative encounter with God.

Headless Goats Reveal Dark Spirits Run Amok

In a shocking incident that has shaken the community of Farmingdale, New York, officials from the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) have reported the discovery of two decapitated goats in what is believed to be a “ritualistic sacrifice.”

The remains, concealed in black plastic bags, were discovered behind a Burger King. Detectives from Suffolk County’s SPCA noted that additional items found at the scene further supported the notion of a ritualistic act.

Chief Roy Gross of the Suffolk County SPCA expressed his outrage, describing the incident as a “barbaric act of animal cruelty.” Determined to bring justice to the situation, the SPCA has offered a reward of $2,000 for any information leading to the arrest of those responsible for the unjustifiable harm, mutilation or killing of the innocent animals.

A photograph provided by the SPCA displayed the chilling sight of the black plastic bags piled in a shaded grassy area adjacent to what appeared to be a parking lot.

Regrettably, this is not the first time that the SPCA has encountered such disturbing findings. In September 2022, SPCA officials denounced the discovery of decapitated chickens and goats, also enclosed in black plastic bags, near the Northern State Parkway. The site of the 2022 incident in Melville was situated a mere five miles away from the recent incident in Farmingdale.

Chief Gross expressed his concern over the impact such gruesome discoveries have on the community, emphasizing, “All too many times these gruesome finds are discovered not only by adults but occasionally by children. These acts of violence must stop now.” In light of these unsettling occurrences, it is crucial to recognize the spiritual dangers associated with demonic activity.

The Bible warns believers about the reality of spiritual warfare and the activities of the enemy. Ephesians 6:12 cautions, “For our fight is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, and against spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.” Such incidents of ritualistic sacrifices serve as a stark reminder that there are spiritual forces at work seeking to bring harm, destruction and chaos.

Evangelist and former satanist John Ramirez warns believers that there are deep, demonic connections to acts such as ritualistic sacrifice and blood magic. And while the demonic power behind these acts is real, the power of the Holy Spirit is far greater than Satan’s dark forces.

For Christians, it is vital to stay vigilant and discerning, recognizing the influence of dark spiritual powers. The Bible exhorts believers to remain alert, as stated in 1 Peter 5:8, “Be sober and watchful, because your adversary the devil walks around as a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.” These disturbing incidents underscore the importance of prayer, seeking God’s protection and remaining rooted in the truth of His Word.

Law enforcement agencies and the SPCA are actively investigating this horrific incident, calling for the cooperation of the community in bringing the culprits to justice.

In the face of spiritual darkness, it is essential to remember that true hope lies in the victory of Jesus Christ. Through prayer, faith and a steadfast commitment to love and righteousness, we can counteract the influence of evil forces and stand firm in the light of God’s truth.

‘Sound of Freedom’ Becomes No. 1 Movie in America: ‘Truly Awe-Inspiring’

The faith-based film about a former Homeland Security agent who embarks on a journey to rescue hundreds of children from sex traffickers is now the no. 1 movie in America, beating out summer blockbusters like “Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny”.

Angel Studio’s “Sound of Freedom” grossed $14.2 million in sales on the July 4th holiday, landing it in the top slot at the box office.

Approximately $2 million of those sales came through Pay it Forward Tickets—a patent-pending technology from Angel Studios that empowers moviegoers to purchase tickets for other people whom they want to see a particular film.

Film critics are predicting the movie could reach $20 million in gross sales by the end of the week.

“From the very beginning, this movie had me choked up, tugging at my heartstrings. It effortlessly keeps you on the edge of your seat, igniting a fire of determination to see the bad guys brought to justice and the innocent children saved. I cannot recommend it enough—Jim Caviziel’s performance is truly awe-inspiring. You can feel the passion and dedication he poured into this role, leaving a lasting impression on your soul,” said one review about the film.

“Amazing movie and brilliantly made. It was a roller coaster ride with pure emotion and made you think of how people can do this dangerous and heroic job, which can bring you to tears of what they have to see and experience,” another review said.

Angel Studios is the streaming and distribution platform behind the film.

“Thanks to fans around the country, ‘Sound of Freedom’ earned the top spot as America’s number one movie on Independence Day. We’ve received numerous messages telling us theaters are either packed or sold out. This movie has now taken on a life of its own to become something more than that, a grassroots movement,” said Neal Harmon, CEO of Angel Studios.

Supporters say it is no surprise the new film is resonating with audiences as the family-friendly, movie-making powerhouse is behind “The Chosen”—the most successful crowdfunded project of all time.

That multi-season TV series about the life of Jesus Christ has become a smash hit that has been streamed more than 500 million times and has now been seen by more than 108 million people since Season 1.

When the series debuted the first two episodes of season 3 in theaters last year it snagged the third spot at the box office beating out DC Comics, Universal and Disney.

Now, Angel Studios’ adult thriller is scoring a high note with audiences. It topped $10 million in pre-sales and has received a 85% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

“That’s an impressive number for a movie that isn’t relying on a glossy big studio marketing campaign. It’s also another sign of the buying power of religious moviegoers, who helped propel this spring’s ‘Jesus Revolution’ to an improbable $53 million at the global box despite the fact that the biggest star in that movie was Kelsey Grammar,” reported Variety.

“With an A+ CinemaScore rating, we’re the top-rated movie in America, and we’re going to see word-of-mouth spread even further going into the weekend. The world needs to see ‘Sound of Freedom’, and we know that our biggest competitive advantage—our incredible fans and investors—are going to make sure that happens,” said Harmon.

As CBN News reported, the feature stars Jim Caviezel as federal agent Tim Ballard who had been working in the Child Crimes unit for 12 years, but was beginning to lose hope. He rescues a seven-year-old boy who was kidnapped, along with his sister, by brutal traffickers. When the boy asks Tim to find his sister, Tim discovers his life’s mission: rescuing children from sex slavery.

Academy Award winner Mira Sorvino and Bill Camp also star in the film.

9 Ways to Connect with LGBTQ Family by Holy Spirit Power

In the realm of Christian faith, navigating relationships with family members who identify as LGBTQ can present unique challenges.

It is in these moments that believers are called to embody the fruit of the Holy Spirit in their interactions, allowing them to guide their actions.

By embracing these virtues, Christians can foster a compassionate and supportive environment for their loved ones, as they strive to establish a relationship that will lead their loved ones to Jesus Christ.

Love:

As a foundational aspect of Christian faith, love is essential in our interactions with family members who are LGBTQ. Love transcends differences and embraces others unconditionally. Reflecting on 1 Corinthians 13:4-7, which states, “Love suffers long and is kind; love envies not; love flaunts not itself and is not puffed up, does not behave itself improperly, seeks not its own, is not easily provoked, thinks no evil; rejoices not in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things and endures all things,” Christians are reminded to exhibit patient, kind and enduring love toward their LGBTQ family members.

Joy:

While grappling with complex emotions and situations, maintaining joy can be challenging. However, Christians are encouraged to find joy in their relationships with their LGBTQ family members. Galatians 5:22 reminds believers that the Holy Spirit bestows joy upon them, saying, “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy…” This joy is rooted in the knowledge that God’s love and grace extend to all, regardless of their life choices.

Peace:

In the midst of differing perspectives and tensions, it is vital to pursue peace in our interactions. Philippians 4:7 affirms the peace that comes from God, stating, “And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will protect your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” By seeking God’s peace, Christians can approach conversations with their LGBTQ family members in a calm and understanding manner, fostering an atmosphere of love and respect.

Patience:

Building bridges and nurturing understanding often require patience. Christians are called to demonstrate patience when engaging in conversations about sexual orientation or gender identity with their LGBTQ family members. Ephesians 4:2 encourages believers to “be patient, bearing with one another in love.” Through patient listening, refraining from judgment and allowing for the growth and spiritual healing of their loved ones, Christians can cultivate trust and foster open communication.

Kindness:

Kindness is a powerful tool in building and maintaining healthy relationships. Christians are reminded in Colossians 3:12 to “put on, therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, a heart of mercy, kindness…” Demonstrating kindness toward LGBTQ family members means treating them with respect and compassion, regardless of differences in beliefs or values. This kindness can serve as a beacon of God’s love, creating an environment of trust and support.

Goodness:

Goodness goes hand in hand with kindness, as it reflects moral excellence and virtue. Christians are called to display goodness in their interactions with LGBTQ family members, treating them with fairness, integrity and genuine care. In Matthew 7:17, Jesus reminds us that “a good tree brings forth good fruit.” By exemplifying goodness, believers can demonstrate the transformative power of God’s love and inspire positive change within their families.

Faithfulness:

Faithfulness encompasses loyalty, commitment and trustworthiness. In our relationships with LGBTQ family members, it is crucial to demonstrate unwavering faithfulness. This includes remaining steadfast in our love and support, even during challenging moments. Proverbs 3:3-4 encourages believers to “let loyalty and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. Then you will find favor and good understanding in the sight of God and man.”

Gentleness:

Gentleness is characterized by a tender and compassionate demeanor. When engaging with LGBTQ family members, Christians are called to exercise gentleness in their words, actions and attitudes. First Peter 3:15 urges believers to “always be ready to give an answer to anyone who asks you for a reason concerning the hope that is in you, with gentleness and respect.” By approaching discussions with humility and understanding, Christians can foster an environment where genuine dialogue and mutual respect can flourish.

Self-Control:

Self-control is the ability to restrain one’s impulses and emotions. In conversations about sexual orientation or gender identity, it is crucial to exercise self-control to avoid reacting impulsively or judgmentally. Proverbs 16:32 states, “He who is slow to anger is better than the mighty, and he who rules his spirit is better than he who takes a city.” By practicing self-control, Christians can ensure that their words and actions reflect the love and grace of Christ, promoting understanding and healing within their family relationships.

By embracing the fruit of the Holy Spirit in our interactions with LGBTQ family members, Christians can create a nurturing and loving environment where faith and personal identity can be explored and understood. Each fruit of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control—plays a vital role in fostering understanding, repentance and growth.

As believers, we are called to extend unwavering love, walking alongside our loved ones as they navigate their own spiritual paths. May the fruit of the Spirit guide us in embodying Christ’s love and grace in our relationships, reflecting the transformative power of God’s love and compassion.

Prophetic Message Urges Christians to Stand Firm in these Gloomy Times

In a powerful and prophetic message, Rabbi Jonathan Cahn calls on believers to take a firm stand, drawing inspiration from the prophets of old, such as Elijah and Jeremiah.

Cahn’s message highlights the need for intercession and standing in the gap for the nation, urging Christians to embrace their prophetic calling.

Cahn emphasizes that if a civilization that was once dedicated to God and spreading the gospel can fall into moral decay, then it is crucial to take heed and learn from history.

America started passionately for God and aimed to be a light to the ends of the Earth, but now has become a nation at war with God’s ways. The warning extends beyond America, urging believers to examine their own lives and ensure they have not drifted from their first love and purpose.

Cahn highlights the danger of being influenced by a culture that opposes God and His ways. Believers must be cautious of the entertainment and influences they allow into their lives and the lives of their families. While not condemning all forms of entertainment, Cahn emphasizes the need to discern what aligns with God’s truth and to draw a line in the sand. He stresses the importance of continually rededicating one’s life to the Lord, seeking Him daily and renewing one’s love for Him. It serves as a reminder to live in God’s power, holiness and will, expressing a desire to be filled with His Spirit and to be on fire with love for Him.

Cahn challenges believers to separate themselves from the culture of sin while still loving and appreciating the good aspects of their nation. They are called to take a stand and be a light in a darkening world, interceding for their nation and seeking revival for themselves and their communities.

Remember God’s promise in 2 Chronicles 7:14, which states, “If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”

Revival starts with personal repentance and commitment to living wholeheartedly for God.

As the nation faces challenges and moral decline, Cahn’s prophetic message encourages Christians to rise up, be the light, and serve an active role in the redemption and revival of their land.

Actor Jim Caviezel Calls Out Moral Decay in Modern Christianity

In the recently released film Sound of Freedom, renowned actor Jim Caviezel, famous for his portrayal of Jesus Christ in The Passion of the Christ, tackles a new cause: raising awareness about human trafficking. The film follows the true story of former federal agent Tim Ballard’s mission to rescue children from the clutches of trafficking.

While promoting the movie, Caviezel spoke to Fox News Digital, expressing his concerns about the state of modern-day Christianity. He claimed that Americans have pushed God out of their religion and universities, resulting in a moral decay permeating society.

“The problem is that modern-day Christianity has become so weak and useless,” Caviezel said in the interview. “I mean, modern-day Christians are more afraid of the devil than they are of God. God could destroy the devil without a glance, but He looks to us to make a decision.

“So, you have moral depravity. I mean, moral decay everywhere, falling apart,” he added. “Laws don’t mean anything anymore. We don’t have a First ‘s no such thing as free speech anymore. You’re absolutely destroyed everywhere, and the media throws out everybody’s a racist.”

Caviezel emphasized that Sound of Freedom is more than just entertainment; it is a cause-driven film that aims to shed light on a critical issue. Ballard, whose extraordinary experiences inspired the movie, expressed gratitude for the opportunity to share the story and show people the harsh realities of combating human trafficking.

“It’s a feeling of gratitude, really, that someone thought to come to us and thought the story was worthy. It has to be someone who believes, who’s a cause driven person, because this isn’t the kind of movie you say, ‘Hey, entertainment value.’ You know, these are people with heart,” says Ballard

Co-star and producer Eduardo Verastegui praised Caviezel’s involvement in the film, noting that many other actors turned down the lead role. Verastegui credited Caviezel’s dedication to the cause, considering him an exceptional choice for the role.

Despite being labeled as “controversial,” Caviezel remains unafraid to voice his opinions. He questioned why expressing his thoughts is seen as controversial and emphasized that not all controversial individuals are inherently evil, challenging the prevailing narrative.

“Why is it controversial—what I say or speak on? I guess not all controversial people are evil, but that’s how you’re trained now,” says Caviezel.

“The purpose God gave me in this business, I wanted to bring His light,” he explained. “And it doesn’t mean I’m always His light into an industry. And I wanted to do that, but it doesn’t mean that I’m not going to play the devil in movies. Just there’s got to be some sort of moral redemption.

“I may not have any friends around me when this is over, but I’ll have [God],” Caviezel adds. “He won’t leave me. I’ll be looking at Him at that point. When I do leave this earth, at least I gave the best I could from God, you know, and my Father in heaven. And I want the world to know I love Him. And maybe that’s evil to them. Not to me, but to them.”

For Caviezel, the films he chooses must possess a sense of moral redemption. In Sound of Freedom, Ballard’s ultimate goal is to inspire viewers to actively engage in the fight against child trafficking. The movie serves as both a resource and an opportunity for intervention, encouraging viewers to take a stand and put an end to this heinous crime.

Through Sound of Freedom, Caviezel and Ballard hope to awaken hearts, prompt action and bring about positive change in society’s perception of human trafficking.

Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders Defends Children’s Chalk Cross Amid First Amendment Debate

Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders (R) is standing firm against demands from an organization to remove a cross-inspired chalk design created by her children on the grounds of the governor’s mansion. Sanders, the daughter of former pastor and Arkansas politician Mike Huckabee, expressed her commitment to maintaining her Christian faith and has no intentions of concealing it.

The controversy arose on June 26 when the governor shared a photo on her Facebook page showcasing the vibrant chalk cross artwork designed by her children. Sanders expressed her pride in their hard work and the impressive outcome.

While the children’s artwork received widespread admiration, some individuals, including activists from Americans United For Separation of Church and State (AU), voiced concerns over a perceived violation of the First Amendment.

In a letter to Sanders dated June 28, AU acknowledged a complaint received regarding the large depiction of a Latin cross at an entrance to the Arkansas Governor’s Mansion, referencing the governor’s Facebook post. AU argued that as a government building, the mansion should welcome guests regardless of their faith or beliefs.

AU contended that promoting one religion over others through a religious display at the mansion’s entrance sends an impermissible message of exclusion and differential treatment toward those who do not share the favored faith.

While AU acknowledged the freedom of Sanders and her family to create religious imagery in private areas of the mansion, they emphasized that public areas, including the grounds and entrances, should not permit such displays. AU claimed that the chalk artwork violated the Establishment Clause of the First Amendment.

In response, Sanders took to Twitter to deliver a swift and resolute reply, asserting that she has no plans to remove the chalk drawing.

She tweeted, “I have received your letter and my answer is, ‘No.’ I will not erase the beautiful cross my kids drew in chalk on the driveway of the Governor’s Mansion or remove my post on social media, and I will not now or ever hide that I am a Christian.”

Sanders accompanied her tweet with a lengthier letter, expressing her belief that AU is mistaken in claiming that the U.S. Constitution prevents government officials, including their families, from expressing sincere religious faith. She went on to assert that AU’s request amounts to asking her to hide her and her family’s Christian identities, something she adamantly refuses to do.

Highlighting the resilience of the people in her state against what she referred to as “bullying liberals,” Sanders maintained that America’s founding documents extensively incorporate religious language.

She stated, “You are asking me to ignore that truth and hide a crucial part of my identity and the identity of my kids. That I will not do.”

Sanders concluded her letter by reiterating that the governor’s mansion welcomes people of all faiths, emphasizing the inclusivity of the residence.
